 | "Please take care of my Daughters, Koneko, Kuroka and Silia" submitted by SirokoGajou to u/SirokoGajou [link] [comments] It's New Years Eve in 2019, Rias Gremory realises that her Rook, Koneko Toujou, has almost no will to live despite her tries to free her from the darkness and Trauma she got when her Sister Kuroka killed her Father (who killed their Mother, because he wanted the Neko Powers) to save them. Rias then got an Idea. The Sage of the Nekoshou-Whisperer. A Myth of a Guy who is everything a Neko needs emotionally. So she started investigating, looks at many parallel Universes to find a Signal of the last Nekoshou-Whisperer. Weeks go by and Rias has almost given up her hope of finding him. She even got Kuroka to her place to comfort her Sister, knowing her will to live is even smaller than Koneko's. But then, on the 29th of January, Rias stumbles across the Earth and gets a Signal from Switzerland. Desperate she decides to fly across the whole Country to find the origin of the Signal and after a Couple of Hours, she finds a Guy with a red Kitten on his Lap. Rias immediatly recognises the fur pattern and almost starts crying, cause she knew who that Guy is. The Sage wasn't a Myth. It's Siro Gajou, the last Nekoshou-Whisperer, but he has even less will to live then Koneko and Kuroka combined. She quickly calls them and asks Siro for help. "Finally you have come, Rias Gremory. I've been waiting for you, since I got this Kitten. My pain will soon be over" Siro says. Rias replies "..How'd you know about all that? And what has Silia to do with it?" Rias was very confused but Siro remained calm "Thats something I'll explain later. For now, we have to make sure that the three Nekos will go to a Safe Place to heal. I know you can create temporary Parallel Universes. By transferring the abilities of all your Chess Figures at the same time to you, you will get the ability to create a Parallel Universe permanently. But you have to use this, to cut it open" Siro points to a brown Sword that has the color pattern of a nordic Flag but with more colors. "This is Sirado. The stronger the Mental Power of the User, the stronger this Sword cuts. If the Mental Power is strong enough and the wielder focuses, it can cut through time and by using the Power of the Gremory Chess Pieces combined, it can create a completly new World with the "Time cutter" and you'll become the God of it, that can freely move in and out of it" he explains and continues: "I know how much these two mean to you, so once you cut it open, I'll jump in with the three of them. But beware. If you don't focus enough, it can Kill us once we go in. I trust you, Rias" ans hands her the Sirado. Rias takes her Chess Pieces and puts all the Power on the King. She starts focusing which leads to so much Power that there's an Earthquake. Siro just holds the three Nekos tight, so they won't fly away of the pressure. "Ok, Siro, I think I'm ready." Rias confirms and holds the Sword, "With this Cut, I, Rias Gremory will create a permanent Parallel Universe and become your God. Please heal them! TIME CUTTER!" She cuts a Hole and Siro jumps in, holsing the three Nekos with him. A few Hours later they wake up in a Castle in the middle of nowhere. Confused on why there's a Castle Siro looks around and sees Rias, "Hello. I apologise in advantage but in those hours you were unconcious I was reading your FanFics. They all had a King in it, so I thought I put a Castle on the Land for you. Here, your Sirado" Rias says and hands Siro his sword back. Siro was confused but happy that it worked with the Time Cutter, "King? Castle? Why are you reading my FanFics without permission? And why the Hell did you put a Castle in the Middle of nowhere? Some background: we do not live in the USA, so there are different traditions and customs at play here. Basically, my brother and his now fiance had been dating long distance for a couple of years, with multiple phone and video calls throughout the day every single day. And I know this, because he lives with me (mooching roommate).
There have been a few concerns I had about their relationship, the incessant phone calls being one of them (she has a tendency to call every 20 - 60 minutes), even while both of them are at work and I always had the impression that she was keeping "tabs" on him, as I'd often happen to be in the room when he'd receive a call and every conversation would essentially start with her asking where he was, what he was doing and who he was with - despite again, having asked him those same questions the last time she called (potentially all of 20 to 60 minutes ago).
She and her family also hail from a part of the country that is considered dangerous for foreigners, which is relevant as my brother and I are of mixed heritage and look foreign and some of her relatives have been openly hostile and/or disapproving of their relationship.
Also, my brother almost never refers to her by her name and I had no idea what it was until she actually came to visit us earlier this year. He almost always refers to her as his "girlfriend" and as of the engagement his "fiance". I also found it weird that he never thought to introduce her to me or to our mother prior to the visit. My brother tried to compromise by suggesting a location that was more of less "in the middle" of our country so that neither of our families would have to travel ridiculously far. She shot this down rather insistently, that it had to under no circumstances take place in or around her home town - meaning none of my brother's family would be able to attend his big day as it would essentially become a destination wedding none of us would be able to afford.
He gave in to her demand, but was able to get her to reluctantly agree to at least opt for a small intimate ceremony of no more than 20 people in order to keep costs down so they could put more savings towards buying a house.
Fast forward to months later and she's become increasingly pushy/demanding. While my brother isn't a prize by any means, she has started demanding huge quantities of money from him completely out of the blue for non-vital/non-emergency reasons (such as an alleged distant relative of hers refusing to get a job and her insisting on financing their lazy lifestyle).
She has also decided to break her agreement about the small ceremony and she now wants a big lavish wedding with a guest list of at least 100 of her family and friends only. Not a single friend or family member from my brother's side. Given the location, catering...etc. that she wants on top of that, the cost of the wedding is going to balloon to at least 9000 USD, which might not seem like much, but is a crazy amount in the local currency here. And she is demanding that my brother pay 70% of it, if not all of it.
When he shot this down, arguing that he doesn't earn nearly enough to have that kind of money saved up for when she wants the wedding (she refuses to let him be involved in any of the planning) and that that wasn't what they'd agreed on, she threw a tantrum and snapped that they might as well not get married at all and just go back to being boyfriend and girlfriend, but it feels like a tactic to force him into giving in to her demands yet again.
Apparently, this is normal behavior for her. She does not like to compromise and pretty much always must have things her way and her way only.
My mother and I really have our doubts about whether my brother should still push through with the wedding. This is not a recipe, it is a narration of materials and techniques used. Started with 1.5 lb of corn meal and a box if Mexican imitation cheerios made with oats and wheat. Added water to one gallon an half a tsp of Angel Blue Label Baiju Yeast. 3 days later I added 6 llb of brown sugar and a banana, plus some fermentation hooch with Voss Kveik and water to 5 gallons. Hit a cold snap and transferred it to 2 and 3 gallon containers. Put the 2 gallon jug on a catering warming plate where it slowlycrept to 90+ Fahrenheit. . Within 48 or maybe 30 hours it went from 1.030 to 0.992 [no temp correction]. It had no real off tastes and a kveik flavor. Someone posted about fast. This will finish fast if it is done straight without the waiting around. Around 10% abv.

Mark these locations on your map and visit when you want to refresh a weapon. Turn off Sages or they will shoot the Octoroks before they refresh your weapon. One thing I found out on my own is you don’t have to wait for the Octorok to spit the weapon out, as soon as he sucks it in, shoot him with an arrow and your weapon will be good as new.

Fighting Lynels
Royal Guard’s Claymore: you can find inside Hyrule Castle behind a broken statue in Hyrule Castle Sanctum (-0282, 1086, 0356). I liked to fuse Molduga Jaws with this. Once fused, keep kitting the ground or anything until you get the message: “Your Royal Guard’s Claymore is badly damaged,” then hit it 2 more times. Your weapon will be down to 1 hit and 1 hit only before it breaks. Save this weapon for your Lynel fights. When you ride the backs of Lynels, you have infinite weapon durability so your weapon won’t break. Combine Royal Guard’s Claymore fused with Molduga Jaw and Radiant Armor, you’ll be able to defeat most Lynels in 3-6 hits. Be sure to save before and after fighting each Lynel in case your weapon break.
Pristine Royal Guard’s Claymore
I didn’t find this until my 3rd playthrough. Picture below are statues where 2-handed pristine weapons spawn. Go there every Blood Moon and eventually you’ll find a pristine one to make fighting Lynels even easier.

Gibdo Bones
Best place to farm is a room inside the Lightning Temple, just strategically set up mirrors. Other good farming locations are the Ancient Altar Ruins and the Gerudo Underground Cemetery. These make great fuse arrows combined with Level 2+ Radiant Armor.
Potions
I didn’t realize this until TOTK (and never tried it in BOTW), but you can actually make 30 min potions from Monster Extracts (instead of using hard-to-grind Dragon Horns). You might have to save scum (save before, make potion, if it’s not what you want, then reload game) to get the 30 mins, but Monster Extracts are only 50 rupees and easier to get than Dragon Horns.

Money Makers
- If you are going to 100% this game, don’t sell items you will need later unless you already have extra, especially gems. Crosscheck it with the Armor Upgrade link above.
- I regularly cycled through Moldugas and the Lynels in the Floating Coliseum every blood moon. Lynel Hooves and Molduga Guts are easy to collect and have extra to sell at a good price.
- Extra armor is great to sell and can be easily obtained with Amiibos (if you have them all - I have the cards). In my experience, armor didn’t have a high drop rate until after I finished 2/4 regional phenomena
Armor / Weapon Tips
- Best Armor Suits to hunt and upgrade to at least Level 2: Radiant Armor, Froggy Armor, Glide Armor, Rubber Armor, Flamebreaker Armor, and Snowquill
- My go-to weapon (although way overpowered) is the Gerudo Scimitar fused with a Molduga Jaw., although you can use any Gerudo weapon (Gerudo weapons double the attack power of the item it's fused with). Combined with a Level 2+ Radiant Armor, you'll be able to kill any enemy with ease. Include a Level 3 attack potion or sneak attack from a puff shroom, there are plenty of enemies you can kill with 1 hit.

- Save Zonaite for Autobuild only
- Save Large Zonaites for Armor Upgrades only
- Best Way to get Crystalized Charges is defeat all Flux Construct, Hinox, Stone Talus, Frox, and Gleeok in the depths. They will always give you 20 crystalized charges.
- After you beat each regional boss on the surface, 3 of them will respawn in the Depths and give you 100 crystalized charges each after the first kill.
- Floating Colieseum is an excellent place to stack up on strong weapons and get 100 crystalized Charges)
- Plenty of chests in the Depths that have 20 Crystalized Charges
- Every Frox location has a small cluster of Zonaite
- Large Zonaite Deposits are basically ripoffs, you get very little for the effort
- Hudson Signs can be dependent on time or weather or something
- My last 2 were Lodrum Headland and Gerudo Canyon Stable

- Sapphire and Opal are the hardest? In addition to the breaking Rare Ore Deposits, Frost Talus’ are a good source for Sapphire and Opal

- Turn your sensor on in Death Moutain to target Rare Ore Deposits and mark them on the map to visit every blood moon.

How to get Stars
- Fast travel to Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower
- Rest until Night.
- Walk up the ramp and launch yourself into the air.
- After being launched, point the camera down and begin diving. A star will eventually fall for you to claim.
- Descent back to the ground at Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower and rest until night again.
- Fast travel to Typhlo Ruins Skyview tower. Launch, look down, catch star. (Or Mayam Shrine above Thyphlo Ruins)
- As soon as you catch start, you can warp right back to Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower. Rest until Night. Rinse and Repeat.

 | Ok definitely need some sage reddit wisdom here. So a bit of backstory: submitted by goldspottedgiraffe to HardWoodFloors [link] [comments] We moved into our 1924 home about 2 years ago, and I am currently in the process of redoing the guest room. It had a nasty blue carpet before that I spontaneously ripped up one day after discovering there were hardwoods underneath. Now, I am armed with an excessive amount of the type of delusion that tells me “I can do anything”, which at times such as these get me in over my head. So I decided I wanted to try my hand at sanding down the floors to refinish them. Besides a few YouTube videos and google, I have no idea what I’m doing, but figured anything was an improvement from the state of the floors before. I’ve gone in with a floor sander, 32 grit, 60 grit and 100 grit, but it seems like no matter what I do these floors don’t want to look even and certain areas of stain are SO stubborn. (Again I have very little clue what I’m doing so I can admit that this is largely my fault, but from what I’ve read and seen I feel like the patchy areas of stain should lift with a rougher grit, no? And yet no- they don’t want to.) ALL THIS TO SAY, I don’t know if it can improve much more from here, so was thinking that staining would be my next step. Is a gel stain a good choice to even things out a bit? Ideally I’d like them to remain a medium-light colour. Any other next steps I should be taking? Any advice is much appreciated! |

My sister is telling me that it’s weird for me wanting my guest to wear shades of sage green, and navy blue to my engagement party. I would get it if I was being specific on shades and I was gonna kick them out if they didn’t apply, but I would just like all of our engagement party pictures to kind of look similar and everybody to be dressed kind of in the same color scheme. Am I weird for that?

Hello! I’m going to the Act : Promise concert tomorrow and have zero clue if there’s a theme or color scheme to follow. This is my second kpop concert ever and I don’t know where to check for the “dress codes” of kpop. I looked it up with no direct answer: Yeonjun is purple, Taehyun is yellow, Soobin is black, Huening Kai is green, and Beomgyu is red. or: TXT doesn't have a fandom color. A twitter account said: There is color palette according from color theme of ACT: PROMISE -txt (from the poster). Recomendation colors: sage green mocha brown, and broken white. With a different saying: the final dress code for the act: promise concert is sky blue and/or white 🩵🤍 So I absolutely no idea what to wear color wise, if there’s a theme, to stick by poster or the TikTok that seems starry night sky 🌌 ish but it’s going to be a last minute outfit anyways so let’s hope it looks decent 😭
