So, a couple of weeks ago, I posted my success story about healing from vulvodynia/pudendal neuralgia using mind body syndrome healing techniques. I got a lot of messages and comments asking a multitude of questions, so I decided to make a post about it.
My Symptoms;

• Burning at entrance of vagina
  
• Burning with urination
  
• Itching around labia
  
• Tailbone pain
  
• Odd nerve sensations around vulva; i.e. tingling, odd pressure around urethra and clit, cold sensations, hot sensations, pulsing, stinging, and sandpaper like feeling.
  

My symptoms kicked off with an initial insult. I had a UTI which led to a YI due to antibiotics, and when I used 3-Day Monistat, crap hit the fan. I had a terrible allergic reaction to the medication, even though I had used it many times in the past, this time I actually sustained chemical burns from it. This led to constant burning pain and PFD for a little over 8 months before I came across TMS, Tension Myositis Syndrome. I learned that our brains are the epicenter for relaying pain messages from our bodies. When we hold our hand over a hot stove, our nerve fibers send a message to our brains to move our hand before we cause damage to ourselves. Pain is a danger signal that let's us know that something is going on and to either move away or take it easy before we get hurt. Pain does not always mean there is something horribly wrong with our bodies. Like when you get a papercut, It's such a small injury but it hurts really bad.
However, sometimes that danger signal can be left in the "on" position and cause pain to become chronic. Our brains can learn pain as it can learn anything else, and unfortunately this is how chronic pain begins.
For example: I had a bad reaction to monistat. I went to a doctor who was not empathetic in the slightest about my pain, blamed me for it, and continued to misdiagnose me with a STD that I did not have. Within this visit I understood 2 things: She doesn't know what happened to me, and she's blaming me for "doing this to myself". It wasn't until 5 doctors later that anyone actually listened to me and suggested that I had chemical burns. By this point, I had constant burning, extreme fear and despair over my symptoms, I was spiraling. Sadly, the fear and attention I was feeding my symptoms had made my pain chronic. I was traumatized by this experience as well, which I held that stress and fear in my pelvic floor, causing it to involuntarily tense up and lead to tight muscles which caused oxygen deprivation to the area and resulted in pain. So, emotional upset > tense muscles > cut off oxygen/blow flow to pelvic floor > pain. See how emotions can affect pain? The more anxious and scared I got, the worse my pain became and I started to develop more symptoms over time which caused more anxiety and more pain. It was a vicious cycle.
How did I heal? I came across TMS by accident and at first I shrugged my nose at the concept, but then I began to notice weird things. My pain would flare in mornings, go away during the day and come back at night. My pain was inconsistent and sometimes be a 3/10 and others be a 10/10. I also had a breakdown moment and scream and cried until I felt "empty" like all the repressed emotions I had finally spilled out of me, and I was pain free for a week after. I also had a 9-da book cure after reading Alan Gordon's book. From this, I learned that my pain stemmed from my fear surrounding my symptoms long after my vulva healed from the chemical burns because my brain learned and memorized that sensation. My brain also associated that sensation with my fear and anxiety, so anytime I got anxious or scared, it would flare up my symptoms. Through TMS healing techniques, I ended up losing my fear of symptoms. I started viewing them as a protective guard dog because they cropped up when I was fearful or anxious and wanted to warn/protect me. I stopped paying attention to them, slowly got back to exercising, sitting for a few minutes at a time, and wearing pants to prove to my brain that I was safe and okay. When a flare would come about, I met it with compassion and understanding, and utilized somatic tracking. Eventually over time and with gentle exposure therapy and somatic tracking, I healed. I had to retrain my nervous system and brain to not expect pain when I did certain activities because after a while my brain perceived danger with things like sitting, touch, and even urinating.
Tension myositis syndrome (TMS), also known as tension myoneural syndrome or mindbody syndrome, is a condition that causes physical symptoms that are not due to structural abnormalities. TMS is caused by emotional tension that signals the brain to reduce blood flow to the body, which can lead to oxygen deprivation and pain.
A good example of a mind body pain cycle would be phantom limb syndrome when a person can lose a limb and their brain sees that missing limb and will cause a pain response due to that missing limb. So amputees will swear that they can still feel their missing limb. The pain is very real and it’s because our brains are in full control of our pain response.
How do we know if our pain is brain/nervous system/TMS related? I will tell you.
Here are some questions to think about as structural pain behaves differently then neuroplastic (TMS) pain/brain pain:

• Have you had test after test and everything always turns out normal?
  
• Has structural causes been ruled out?
  
• Do your symptoms move around (You get an itch on your pelvic floor, then your glute then your leg?
  
• Do your symptoms come and go? (They are better in the morning but worse at night/vice versa; they happen before your menstrual cycle but are better during your menstrual cycle; they seem to vanish when you're distracted or on vacation, etc.)
  
• Do your symptoms seem to vanish when you're sick or have something else going on in your body?
  
• Are your symptoms inconsistent? Is the pain 1/10 sometimes but then they're 7/10 at other times? Do they change location?
  
• Do you have other possible mindbody syndromes like stress headaches, IBS, anxiety?
  
• Does your pain ebb and flow with your emotional state?
  
• Did the symptoms start out of nowhere? You just woke up with them one day?
  
• Did they start with a physical injury but you did not heal within the expected amount of time? (6 weeks to 3 months)
  
• Are doctors unable to find a cause for your pain?
  

These are things that are indicative of mindbody syndrome/TMS. Structural pain does not behave in the way described above. I am going to include some learning resources as one cannot heal from TMS without educating themselves about pain science and TMS. This is not a magic pill, it does take work. But! You can heal from this. Once you begin to unlearn the pain, it will fade. Once you take away the "I'm sick" or "I'm broken" narrative and replace it with empowerment, the pain will fade. If you deprive the pain of fear and attention, IT WILL FADE. You will heal. I did and you can too!
I hope that this post helps you! I really truly do and I apologize for it's length. I want you to recover. It doesn't matter if you've been in pain for 6 months or 15 years, you CAN heal and I don't want you to give up or lose hope about that. You can use these techniques and this knowledge for virtually any chronic pain condition as it can also help in pain management. I wish you an easy road to recovery.

Somatic Tracking For Chronic Pain and Symptoms

I (not too long ago) bought a KeyChron Q6 which I love. But want to get hold of something more ergonomic for working on. I do sometimes get wrist pain and shoulder issues and I want to make sure that doesn’t get worse (and ideally improves).
Currently I’m torn on what to get in terms of a split though.
I like the idea of a Sofle or a glove80. These are the top contenders for me at the moment. I think a Sofle MX is probably a better choice for me as I have big hands and having a choice of keycaps (for some small height differences between rows) might be useful.
The glove80 appeals me me mainly because form factor looks great and I like the idea of having a Fn row (but this is kind of minor).
I am a front end engineer so spend a fair amount of time typing.
Advantage 360 seems a bit wild in terms of cost and the thumb cluster looks a bit awkward IMO.
This would be my first split though so maybe it’s not a bad choice. However I like that the other two are a bit more customisable and (again IMO) look better.
It’s a fair chunk of change for any of them, and at this point I am not really interested in soldering anything myself so that’s also a factor.
Last point is I’m in the UK. So there’s also that.
Not sure moving from a 100% to something like a voyager would go too well for my productivity so that’s why that small form factor isn’t a consideration but willing to be told otherwise.

Once again if there is anything I missed or any suggestions people want to make feel free to let me know.
NCR: following their loss to the ruler of the strip, and subsequent evacuation, ncr troops returned home to find California in an even worse state, the capital was destroyed nearly exactly as the second battle for the dam took place, and it's destruction plus the armies defeat sent the already struggling ncr economy into a steep decline, seeking a solution, the reformed government attempted another, larger invasion of the mojave a few years later, which led to significant losses on both sides and ultimately another defeat.
This time, troops returned to a nation in near complete chaos. Shortages of food, water, and a now nearly worthless currency led to poverty and famine not seen since the founding of ncr, and riots over said famine, draft protests, and the resurgence of powerful raider gangs meant police and army forces were unable to keep order in many parts of the country, during this time, Brotherhood forces also began to re-emerge, defeating the scattered army in multiple battles. At this point desertion within the ncr military reached its all time high, with thousands of troops either going missing or being confirmed deserters, many of these soldiers would eventually end up forming their own gangs and petty warlord kingdoms within abandoned territories, with most becoming only slightly better than the raiders they were originally supposed to be fighting.
Eventually, the strain on the nation became too much, and the ncr began to officially withdraw from the southern states, with boneyard being one of the first, followed by almost every settlement, one by one, until the line finally held, the new border stretching from Navarro and the coast in the west to the Big Circle and Reno in the east. The ncr was gravely weakened due to its withdrawal, and lost both much of it's citizens as well as much of its industrial and commercial centers, despite this it has consolidated what it does have, and it's remaining cities are enough to keep it standing as one of the major powers of the west, albeit much less capable of its previous feats and ambitions
As of right now, the ncr is pursuing a policy largely of isolationism, and the ideas and ideals of figures like former senator Hanlon and Tandi hold great sway over the republic. Since the collapse the ncr had mainly been forced to focus its energy into rebuilding the north and solving the lingering issues of the food and water supply, and while it still boasts a comparatively formidable army, that army is strictly defensive, with no plans to fight back or reclaim territory being put in motion.
SHI EMPIRE: following the collapse of the ncr, the shi returned largely to a more isolationist stance on the outside world, shutting their gates and sealing San Francisco off from much of the outside world. Despite this, rumors persist about secret weapons deals with various wasteland groups, ranging from particularly influential warlords to the ncr itself, though this is not confirmed
THE HUB: following ncrs withdrawal from the south, the hub fell under the control of a coalition of caravan companies, local officials and army officers, and eventually managed to mitigate the damage of the collapse, soon returning to its role as a hub of trade for southern California, albeit with markedly less profit and stability, they are also one of the only places left in the south that are still in constant communication with ncr proper, with the hub maintaining telegraph lines between the powers in exchange for ncr goods and ammunition.
RENO: during the collapse, New Renos crime families declared independence from ncr, retaking official control over the city and forming a loose alliance to govern it, however this coalition quickly broke down, and the city is currently embroiled in a civil war between the Wrights, who also lead the remnants of the alliance, and the Van Graffs, who are attempting to seize complete control. So far the conflict has remained within the borders of the city and its surroundings, however ncr and Follower presence on the border has increased, both in response to a refugee crisis as well as the possibility of further escalation
WEST COAST BOS: following the decline of ncr, the brotherhood got the breathing space in the war it sorely needed, the west coasts elders and clerics needed only to wait for the ncr to continue to weaken, and following their second loss in Vegas, as well as news from the east of their victories and incoming reinforcements, the western brotherhood pushed back, retaking many of its lost bunkers and pushing ncr forces back. Currently it has merged with a large contingent of the east coast brotherhood, and brotherhood forces have been seen attacking a remnant warlord force in the boneyard area, though the exact reason for this is unknown. (Also important to note, the brotherhood still holds very limited control of the regions identified as theirs, with most of the area being under warlord amd Hub influence, brotherhood only hold a presence in locations such as lost hills and the the observatory)
NCR REMNANT: largely regarded as a myth or hearsay, rumors persist about a large force of veteran rangers and soldiers who, upon receiving word or the retreat from Baja and later the south, remained in and defended the city of Dayglow, turning the city into a fortress, however due to the presence of multiple hostile groups and the lack of contact from the area, Dayglows remnants are regarded more as a theory than an actual unit. No attempts at contact have been made by either the Hub or ncr proper.
WARLORD TERRITORY: warlord territory refers to the largely lawless stretches of former ncr land that have fallen into the control of small territorial groups, whether they be raider gangs, former army units, former brahmin barons, citizens militias or whoever else may have the incentive and manpower to claim territory, quality of life in these areas is still barely better than it was in the collapse, and wars, raids, and starvation are still commonplace, as well as the re-emergence of practices like slavery
NEW VEGAS: following the victory of the ruler of the strip over ncr, little is known in the wider west about the state of Vegas, though it would seem that progress was being made towards greater stability following ncrs retreat, this wouldn't last though, as the second ncr invasion began, and was met with extremely stiff resistance from the securitron army, as well as numerous local groups. Ultimately ncr troops managed to inflicted major casualties on the strip forces, even attacking and breaching the strip itself, and the damage done seems to have shattered Vegas as much as it did the ncr, leaving whatever plans its ruler had unfinished
THE LEGION: following their defeat at hoover dam, as well as the death of Caesar shortly after, the legion began to deteriorate and eventually dissolve, with many of its tribes returning to their former ways or what was left of them, the legion remains however, mainly in and around the capital of Flagstaff, though severely diminished, they have largely taken to ruling over or pillaging the reformed tribal groups and former ncr border settlements. Though many within the legion still hold Caesars ideals, none have been able to recapture what was broken when he died, and so the legion continues to decline.
Post-legion Tribes: named Legionem Proditores (Traitor Legions) by The Legion proper, the term refers to those who have returned to their former ways following the death of Caesar and the destabilization that followed. Vast swaths of the legions subjects attempted to return to their tribes roots, often to little success. Instead forming new tribes that are often completely antithetical to the legions ideals, this has led to the early beginnings of a confederation of tribes and villages that have proven to be a powerful force against the ambitions of the legion and groups like it, using legion tactics and weapons against them in response to slave raids and attempts at reintegration
GREAT KHANATE: following their move to Wyoming, the Khans formed a powerful nomadic empire based off the Mongols of old, so far little is known about their new society, though there have been reports of khan riders as far off as the california coast
EAST COAST BOS: the east coast brotherhood continues to reign as one of the major powers on the eastern seaboard, being the most powerful military force in the area, the commonwealth is the current headquarters of the high elder maxon, as well as his most trusted clerics, choosing it for its abundance of technical artifact over the comparatively safer capital wasteland, however pressure has been mounting for the elder to move once more, as the CPG at large has been becoming much less favorable towards the brotherhood, which it sees as overly protective of its tech and as overstepping its bounds far too frequently
COMMONWEALTH PROVISIONAL GOVERNMENT: following the destruction of the institute the minutemen, alongside the brotherhood and multiple prominent settlements reformed the CPG, a council of representatives from each group who would govern the commonwealth and surrounding areas, since its inception the cpg has grown by many settlements, and the minutemen have grown alongside it, developing a standing professional garrison in many major towns, though still relying on its militia as its major military force. Recently the cpg has begun to debate the brotherhoods place on the council, and many councilors are demanding an end to the confiscation of technology from their citizens, with many demanding a right to use force against such attempts or demanding an eviction of the brotherhood from their bases across the commonwealth.
THE FREE PITT: Following the Pitts liberation, progress on the cure was slow, and conditions in the Pitt remained dismal, albeit better than it was under the raider lords. As time went on however, improving conditions in neighboring areas such as the Commonwealth and Capital Wasteland led to marked improvements in the Pitt itself, as trade and interaction with the newly established CPG, capital wasteland towns, and the Brotherhood led to stability and an improvement in the quality of life for many of its residents. As of 2296, the Pitt, with the help of allied scientists, managed to create a cure to the plague, and due to its industry and trade, its residents currently enjoy a level of stability and prosperity not seen in the city for over a century. Currently the Pitts biggest concern is a mounting need to create a proper government, a proposal that continues to be widely unpopular and staunchly opposed, with many in the Pitt still preferring the anarchic freedoms that the Pitt has stood by since the revolution.
MONTANA BOS: Founded during the very start of the Brotherhood, the Montana chapter was founded by a military officer in the days following Maxons call to revolt. When the war started however, the Montana bunkers found themselves in a much better condition than the rest of the nation, with Montana, and specifically their area of it sustaining far less damage. As a result of this, as well as the relatively low local population, the Montana chapter is in a remarkably safe location, and has a very small number of active combat troops as a result. To compensate for this, the Montana Brotherhood have become some of the best scribes in the entire organization, and the chapters bunkers have become vaults of precious artifacts and texts ranging from FEV samples to the personal effects of Roger Maxon himself. The chapter is also responsible for much of the brotherhoods historical recording, though due to their isolation and the precarious situation the brotherhood had faced in previous years, they have only recently started analyzing and recording the events following the start of the D.C. expedition, and are not expected to finish it for some time.
THE ENCLAVE: Following their loss at the hands of the Brotherhood in Capital Wasteland, enclave forces in the area pulled back to their bases at Mount Weather, West Virginia and Chicago, since then they have largely kept out of major conflicts, attempting to regain strength and manpower before moving on the brotherhood again, however two of their recent attempts at restoration have failed, with an expedition into the commonwealth failing with high casualties, and a researcher in a west coast facility defecting with promising tech.

The purpose of this post is to point out the false translations of words in the New Testament. These false translations paint sex and fun as something bad.
Before we dive into how antichrists changed the meaning of words, let us first discuss things in a general, Christian, spiritual manner. False Christianity such as Catholicism claims and believes that sex is sin. They view sex as a bad thing. They condemn sex without marriage. They condemn sex when condoms are used or other contraceptives. They condemn sex when it is not for procreation but just for pleasure. They condemn homosexual sex. They condemn masturbation. They condemn sexual pleasure in general. And even though they allow sex in a marriage if it is for procreation, the spirit of their religion views even that as sinful. In short, sex and sexual pleasure is sin to them. It is a sex-is-sin religion.
This accusatory, vile religion is of course not Christian. How is it compatible with the principle of love? People having sex is not against the principle of love. Sex is not an act against love. If people have consensual sex, it is not contrary to 'love your neighbor'. On the contrary, God has made us and given us a sexuality and sex. We can gladly enjoy all the good things God has given us.
In fact, everyone with a conscience and feeling can see how evil and wrong this sex-is-sin religion is. It accuses the sex lovers and gives them a bad conscience. It calls good evil. It is the opposite of 'love your neighbor'. And all that in Jesus' name. As if this cruel sex-is-sin religion was from Jesus.
How did this sex-is-sin religion come about? It was the work of so-called early Christians, such as the 'Church Fathers'. The earliest of those was probably Polycarp of Smyrna who supposedly lived from 69 to 155. Some claim he has seen John the apostle. As we can see, these Church Fathers are not really that early. There is at least two generations between them and the apostles. That does not mean that the sex-is-sin religion did not start really early. It could have very well started somewhat earlier than Polycarp. John said there was already the spirit of antichrist and many antichrists (1 John 2:18, 4:3).
These antichrists twisted and changed the meaning of words. Probably the most prominent word they twisted to establish their sex-is-sin religion is the Greek word porneia. They basically changed it to mean 'fornication' or 'sexual immorality' which means all forms of sex and sexual pleasure except for sex in a marriage for procreation. But that is of course not what porneia means.
The word porneia does not appear often in classical Greek literature. Therefore, its meaning is not easy to establish. It most likely means an illegal trade exchange or a trade exchange involving trickery. Some ancient Greek societies had laws concerning the sale of sexual services. If prostitution was carried out in a way contrary to those laws, it was illegal commerce and it was called porneia, an illegal trade exchange. Note that prostitution in general was not called porneia, just illegal prostitution.
The word porneia was also used for trade exchanges that did not involve sexual services. Esau is called a pornos, someone involved in porneia, in Hebrews 12:16 because he sold his birthright for a single meal to his brother Jacob. When this happened, Esau came from hunting in the field and was exhausted. Jacob took advantage of his situation and charged his birthright for the meal. This is a prime example of porneia, a trade exchange involving trickery.
Dishonest trade practices also appear to be the meaning of porneia in 1 Thessalonians 4:3-6a. It could be translated as follows:
For this is the will of God, your sanctification. That you abstain from dishonest trade practices (porneia). That each of you know how to acquire his goods in sanctification and honor, not in the impulse of covetousness like the Gentiles who do not know God. That no one overreach and defraud his brother in any matter.
Fraudulent trade also appears to be the meaning of porneia in 1 Corinthians 5:1. It could be translated as follows:
It is actually reported that there is fraudulent trade (porneia) among you, and such a fraudulent trade (porneia) as is not even named among the Gentiles—that a man possesses his father’s wife.
Apparently, someone had obtained his father’s wife, probably the stepmother, by trickery. If this means that the stepmother is now the stepson's slave or even his wife, I cannot say.
The word porneia appears also to be used when someone is tricked or bought into idol worship. A primary means to achieve this was food. One can imagen that participants in idol worship ceremonies would obtain sacrificed food during or after the ceremony. Thus one would exchange idol worship for food. This appears to be the meaning of porneia in Acts 15:20 and Revelation 2:14,20. From 1 Corinthians 10:25-29 we know that food sacrificed to idols was a common good, it was even sold on the markets. So it stands to reason that at least some of that food was also obtainable during idol worship or as a reward for it. It was free food, except you had to pay with idol worship for it, so to speak.
From 1 Corinthians 10:20-21 we can infer that also wine was used to incentive idol worship, just like food.
Another means to incentive idol worship appears to have been sex. This appears to be the meaning of porneia in 1 Corinthians 6:13-7:2. It is plausible that sex was part of worship rites at temples for the fertility goddess. It was probably also part at some religious festivals. Wikipedia says cultic prostitution was big in ancient Corinth. So in that case, the trade exchange would be idol worship and some money in exchange for sex.
1 Corinthians 5:9-10 could be translated as follows:
I wrote to you in my letter not to associate with [pornoi (those doing porneia) ]()— not at all meaning the pornoi of this world, be it the greedy, or swindlers, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world.
From this text we can infer some possible meanings of porneia: greed, swindle and idolatry. It shows that Paul was well aware of the different types of porneia.
The bottom line of all this porneia talk is that food, wine and sex are not the negative part of porneia. Idolatry is the negative part. And for non-idolatry porneia it is the greed and swindle. So in no way does porneia mean fornication or sexual immorality. It does not paint sex and sexual pleasure as bad.
There are other words that have been twisted besides porneia. Let us look at the words malakos and arsenokoitai in 1 Corinthians 6:9. These words appear in a cluster of words that comes after the word pornoi (those doing porneia). Since the context is porneia, the meaning of the word malakos can be easily determined using a dictionary. The fitting meaning in this context is those that give in, or yield or are remiss. So this would be those who would give in to the reward for idolatry like food and sex and worship idols in order to get the reward.
The word arsenokoitai is more difficult to determine because it first appears in the New Testament and is not mentioned in the previous ancient Greek literature that has survived. The word could be translated literally as those who bed men. Given that the context is porneia, it likely means women, who have sex with men in order to get from them what they want. They seem to deceive them in order to get goods or in order to get them to worship idols. So these two words describe both parties who participate in a trade exchange involving trickery, that is porneia. Both parties could as well be called pornos (a male doing porneia) or porne (a female doing porneia).
Most bible translations wrongly translate these words as homosexuals, where malakos are the bottoms and arsenokoitai are the tops. There are additional words whose meaning have been twisted to condemn sex and sexual pleasure. Among them are lust, uncleanliness, flesh, worldliness and unholiness.
The Church Fathers use the afore mentioned words in a wrong way or expanded them or changed their meaning entirely. They viciously condemned sexual pleasure and sex that is not for procreation and homosexual sex in their writings. They call sex sin. They even call it satanic. Who in their right mind would call consensual sex satanic? But it is them who are satanic. They are exactly what this word means. They are accusers. They are like the pharisees.
Their sex-is-sin religion is both inhumane and non-human. In portraying sexual pleasure as evil and not meant to be, they are denying a basic human thing that most humans do and are meant to do. And by claiming this was Jesus' teaching, they make Jesus look non-human, too. They indirectly, unconsciously deny that Jesus is a human. Which of course is, what antichrists do (1 John 4:3, 2 John 1:7).
Antichrist means Opposite-Christ. Someone who is and does the opposite of Christ. This is a role the church fathers play very well. They accuse and condemn others. They condemn others for being a human. They condemn basic human needs and joys. Very unlike Jesus.

I do a great job at work, i’ve been at the same place for 6 years but I have the Sunday scaries every week without fail. I have no debt as I paid everything off and good savings and usually vacation for the whole summer (my parents are immigrants so I see my grandma in her home country every summer) to undo the trauma of selling my soul for a job I don’t want to do anymore cuz I like the monthly salary (I live in a big city that I grew up in and get paid pretty well for being a teacher).
It doesn’t help that I moved back home during covid and haven’t moved out yet. That meme of living at home and saving money at the cost of your mental health is all too real but I think I’m at a point where I would still hate my job even if I moved out/got my own place/lived with friends.
I just signed up for a free coding boot camp. And honestly I’m having fun with it. I used to be obsessed with neopets where I learned HTML/CSS at like 12 years old lol but I never developed those skills further cuz my family would shame tf out of me for spending hours after school on the computer. So I’m wondering if that could be my way out of teaching but then I read all these scary things about tech jobs and idk. Crazy how I’ve had the same full time job my whole adult life.
What would you do in my shoes? I feel like the obvious answer is take a risk but I probably have mild to moderate psychosis from living at home the last 4 years and smoking a lot of weed so I need your opinion cuz I’m delusional af sometimes

Call to Action

SuperStonk, since the beginning we have always strived to do everything in our power to protect our investments. We migrated subreddits multiple times, we established backup communication outlets, we moved brokerages and called them to demand our shares not be lent out, we backed up our DD, and eventually we learned about direct registration and DRSed our shares. If we take a step back in time to when we originally started to DRS our shares, there were two main reasons for it: the obvious one was to attempt at locking the float, but the other reason was to protect our shareholders rights. Now that we are in the end game, why should we stop now? I know there are a wide range of opinions on GameStop's recent corporate actions. The events that have occurred over the past few weeks have left thousands of shareholders with concerns. You may not agree with them, but the reality is that they are there, and they are real shareholders. I've read through their comments all over this subreddit, as well as everywhere else. My goal with this post is to remind everyone that we as shareholders have the right to let our voices be heard. We own billions in this company, and our voices are more powerful than some of you may think. This is the exact reason I created this petition, to express my concerns to GameStop. I also emailed GameStop investor relations.

Recent Events

A few weeks ago, Roaring Kitty returned and lit the internet on fire with a barrage of memes on X. Perhaps he knew something was coming. Around the same time, the volume and volatility of the stock came to life like it hasn't in years. It is clear as day that this increase in volume and volatility has nothing to do with Roaring Kitty, but rather there's something under hood occurring that is driving the price action. Whether its obligations from leaps, swaps, ETF rebalancing, or any of the other many possibilities, its clear something big is happening. During the week of May 13-17, the price of GME actually touched $80. By May 17, the price had fallen and was consolidating in the $30 range, when GameStop announced a 45 million share "at-the-market offering" and "first quarter preliminary results". On May 24, GameStop announced the completion of the share offering, having raised $933.4 million. The "acquisitions and investments" language in the filing led many to speculate that maybe GameStop needed to quickly raise capital for a merger deal that was already underway, perhaps to be announced the week of earnings and the annual shareholder's meeting.
After a brief silence, Roaring Kitty posted his absolutely insane position to SuperStonk for the world to see. At this point, the behavior of MSM and various actors on social media made it clear that whoever is on the other side of that bet is very, very scared. This past week, we saw the volume and volatility of the stock begin to churn again. By Thursday, June 6 we were seeing violent upward price action in the stock. After this price action had already begun, Roaring Kitty scheduled a livestream on his YouTube channel for the next day, July 7 at noon est. Again it was clear that something under the hood was driving the stock, as it began before Roaring Kitty posted his livestream. During after hours Thursday night, the price hit over $60. On Friday morning, GameStop announced another 75 million share "at-the-market offering" and disclosed their first quarter results, even though those had previously been scheduled to release on June 11.

The Downsides

Although GameStop adding a few billion dollars to the balance sheet is extremely bullish for the long-term outlook of the company, that doesn't mean it didn't come without downsides. Once the current share offering is completed, the result will be a combined 120 million new shares sold into the market, representing an almost 40% dilution. This obviously adds liquidity to the stock, which is upsetting to many because we spent 3 years DRSing at least 75 million shares, which had resulted in GME becoming very illiquid. In particular, I feel the need to call into question the timing of the second share offering, as that is what bothers me the most. Going into Friday, it really looked like that run had legs, and there was a ton of hype in anticipation of Roaring Kitty's stream. GameStop chose to announce the share offering before pre-market trading on Friday morning, and by market open the price of the stock had fallen dramatically. This resulted in a huge loss of call premium in GME, on a Friday, and the same day as Roaring Kitty's livestream no less. Call holders aside, I have to question this timing even from the perspective of the company's best interest. Could GameStop have raised more capital, with fewer shares, if they had waited until a later time/day? We can tell by the volume on Friday that something was still churning under the hood. Let's imagine the potential if they let the stock run, let Roaring Kitty do his thing, and let all of those calls expire in the money to drive the price action into next week. For me, and many of the comments I've seen, this timing is very troubling.

GameStop vs Roaring Kitty?

The interpretations of Roaring Kitty's ATM meme, his memes the morning of the first 45 million share offering (May 17), and his "Happy Birthday from GameStop" comment in his livestream yesterday are still being debated. To me, his memes the morning of May 17 seemed negative. He posted a crying meme face under the Kitty mask, and the first meme of that morning was the only one off-schedule that entire week. His birthday comment yesterday also seemed like blatant sarcasm to me "wrap it up in a gift or some shit". Thus, I personally think these offerings surprised him, but that is just my opinion, I could be completely wrong.
Is all of this part of some master plan that is yet to be revealed? Is each party simply acting in their own best interest? Or is there something more going on here? Unfortunately, I don't have those answers, but I feel like the question is important at this stage in the game, so I wanted to at least mention it.

MOASS

There's been some controversy lately between those that are more interested in the long-term potential of GameStop vs those who are here for MOASS. For me, it has always been about MOASS, and after MOASS of course a lot of those gains will go right back into GME. If you're in the MOASS camp with me, don't fret, I still think MOASS is very much on the table, it could even be right around the corner. There are a lot of possibilities that could play out over the next few weeks. We know something big is still churning in the stock, Roaring Kitty's 120,000 calls don't expire until June 21, and the shorts are terrified. It is very possible that the stock will start running hard as soon as GameStop lets us know that the share offering is complete.
Although it may seem that way, my main goal with this petition and post is not to criticize GameStop's recent corporate actions, as that won't really result in anything productive anyways. Instead, I want to focus on voicing my concerns about the possibility of similar actions moving forward, particularly the next few weeks. For this reason, I left all of my opinions from this post out of the petition. I tried to keep it to one simple statement that I hope most can agree with. We do not have a once in a lifetime in front of us, we have a once in history opportunity in front of us. Roaring Kitty is back, he holds 120,000, and the stock is alive. It is time for MOASS. It is time to let our voices be heard. Let the stock run.

I know that some of you have an investment thesis that is more interested in GameStop's long-term potential. You think GameStop will become GameShire Stopaway. I hope you're right, and you have every right to your own investment strategy. However, you have to understand that years ago many got involved in this play for MOASS. We should've been paid in January of 2021, but here we are. We still want see the shorts' demise, and we still want to be paid.

To the Master Plan / Merger Inbound crowd

I know many of you think everything is part of a master plan that has yet to be revealed. Some of you think GameStop is going to announce some kind of merger or acquisition very soon. Well, I hope you guys are right, as I would profit greatly if you are! My argument to you is that if there is already a deal that is done and yet to be announced, or a master plan already in motion, then this petition/post is not going to change that in any way. The goal of this is to simply voice concerns just in case we have fallen off the tracks. I know you're zen, but please don't just downvote this post to oblivion and scream FUD. There are other shareholders out there with concerns who may want to see it.

My preemptive answers to the FUD accusations

I know the accusations are coming, but here's the deal, I've been here the whole time. I'm not telling anyone to sell. I'm not price anchoring. I'm not just upset because I lost money on calls. Full disclosure, I sold my call position at market open on Friday for a small profit (although I feel for any of you who didn't make it out ahead, I've been there and I feel your pain). I've held DRS shares for a long time, and I'm not leaving. Roaring Kitty's livestream was amazing. Roaring Kitty is not a market manipulator, he is the most legendary investor of all time and he simply posted his position online for the world to see. MOASS is inevitable. Ape no fight Ape. Following the first day of investigation, Agent MAIN is the first to wake. An early-riser after years in the military, he leaves a note for Marsha. The two will meet again, of course. Arriving at work, he gets chatting to some Navy mechanics about the little weird diagram on the napkin. About the best answer he gets (after a successful check), is that one of them remembers seeing something like a clockwork giraffe as an attraction in South America. Studying it on that basis, MAIN concludes it's an artist's attempt at design because he can't see a way for this to work or even what it might really be for. He also checks in with USN and asks a friend to track down some vintage US Arms gear (he noted the serial numbers on the radio and dud-grenade). Not being from the same branch of service (and a failed check), it will take somewhere between 24-48 hours. (I decided US Armed Forces would probably be better at digitizing records, he'll get something either way).
MAVERICK isn't far behind MAIN, starting his day as usual being one of the first into the FBI NYC Field Office. As far as the FBI is concerned, he's on the Wright case now it's in their jurisdiction. Unprepared to wait for the prints to be matched (failed check on Bureaucracy), he instead does it himself (successful Forensics check). Abigail was never arrested, but her father handed in a hairbrush she kept at his and his wife's home. The prints match. It took MAVERICK a little time (it was a close pass), because part of a second, unidentified print obscured one of Abigail's, He can discount himself and the team, and likely anyone in law enforcement as he assumed they would've gone gloved.
Next, he follows up on Art Life and makes a call. He gets on the phone with Cynthia LeChance and in the course of their conversation is able to intuit there's something she's unsure or hesitant about. Being the honest-to-goodness, earnest Agent Cooper type, MAVERICK is able to organise a lunch meeting with her as part of follow up. He doesn't have many questions, he assures Cynthia and it'll be on the FBI's dime. She agrees to meet at 12pm.
(It's worth mentioning I ruled there was no reason MARCUS (Case Officer, M-Cell) or the Agents themselves wouldn't have or be able to obtain pagers they could use to stay in contact. Definitely an incidental expense as far as I am concerned.)
MILHOUSE, after his morning run to campus, follows up on his research from the previous day. He identifies the Ars Goetia and learns there's an 18th century copy in the special collections. Luckily for him, he's able to get about an hour with the book. The book contains the names of some 72 demons, their associated heraldry and symbols which they must "pay allegiance to." The book also contains the supposed means of summoning said entities, but MILHOUSE's time is over before he can get much further into it.
He's the first to arrive at the apartment, late morning/early afternoon (roughly around MAVERICK's planned lunch interview). At the coffeeshop, he's treated to a free beverage by Marsha, who thanks him for bringing his friend in the other day. Sadly, by the time MAIN arrives, her shift is over.
MIRANDA lies awake, watching the minutes tick by until about five minutes before she'd usually be walking into the Village Voice's office before making a call. She's really sorry, but she'll have to take a personal day, but does her best to reassure her editor she's still on for the grill party on Saturday. Of more immediate concern is the missing demonic symbol she is unable to locate. The polaroid she snapped is still in her possession, but she can find no trace of the symbol drawn on its piece of brown wrapping paper anywhere in her apartment. Nor can she find any evidence her home was broken into (she has the right skills to determine that for...reasons).
She makes a quick call to her criminal contact, Hugo. It's been less than 24 hours, but she wants to just follow up to perhaps create a sense of urgency. Hugo says he might have a couple of people on the hook, but it would help if he had more to work with than just "weird and esoteric." MIRANDA will be in touch. Before heading to Kips Bay, she decides to follow up on trying to locate the cab and its driver she photographed the other day; the driver looking down the barrel of the camera at her.
It takes her most of the morning, but MIRANDA locates the garage and office. Mostly making calls asking about a cab outside Abigail's address the previous day. She knows the time, more or less. She finds a schlubby office manager who stonewalls her until money changes hands. MIRANDA gets a name and the cabbie's usual pick up and route. Guy likes to work around the Port Authority Terminal most days, she can probably find him there. She doesn't want to go alone and makes her way to the Macallistar where she expects to find the others.
A night owl and late to wake by nature, MALATESTA hits snooze on his alarm maybe only twice today. Packing up the weird crystal in a ziplock bag stowed in his backpack, he takes himself to the Mercury Gallery. He's got an angle he wants to try and it works, if not quite in the way he perhaps expected.
The gallery owner, Santiago, isn't sure what to make of the skater-grunge kid who rolls into his gallery, but he's not exactly out of place and to be truthful, his story is almost too outlandish not to be true. Through a combination of good roleplay and an opposed check, MALATESTA explains a "dude he's working for" heard about Abigail's exhibition and wanted to know if there were any paintings of hers left unsold.
As it turns out, there are. Santiago explains they're not the cream of the crop: "Most of the others were more abstract and, I would say, exemplary. She did well, especially for an artist in New York. The one or two I have left are a bit more...prosaic."
At about this time, MAVERICK makes his meeting with Cynthia. He's not hard to miss; there is no reality in which he was not a Federal Agent and Cynthia easily marks him across the street. She takes him to a small Italian bistro where she usually has lunch and begins talking. This is what MAVERICK is good at; getting people to talk. Everyone wants to, after all; it's about letting them and knowing where to push and where not.
Cynthia explains how weird the Macallistar has been for her to manage. The building has never been filled to capacity as far she can recall and those units which were occupied never remained so for very long.
MAVERICK: "Did you know Abigail?"
Cynthia: "Not really. I met her once or twice. Went with her and her dad to view the apartment." She smiles. "He was worried about her having a ground floor unit in the city, but it was the one she wanted. Never any complaints from her or from other tenants about her. Then...the rent stopped."
MAVERICK: "Yeah, we saw that."
Cynthia: "No. You don't understand. The rent stopped. No one in the building has been paying rent since March this year."
MAVERICK: "What does that mean?"
Cynthia is nervous. MAVERICK picks up she's worried she might be in trouble and he reassures her she isn't. Far from it, in fact.
Across town, MALATESTA is shown one of Abigail's unsold paintings. Santiago unveils it; a landscape, the frame longer than it is tall. A park, with a city-skyline in the background. In the centre, a statue. There are people. Some gathered in a crowd, others walking in various directions. MALATESTA feels uneasy. Then he sees them: five figures gathered in the shadows of the statue around a sixth, seated on a bench. Merely brushstrokes, details and faces indistinct. One may be a woman. Another appears to be holding a skateboard.
Santiago, distant as MALATESTA gave the painting his full attention, becomes clear again.
"See what I mean? Like something you'd see in a doctor's office."
"Yeah." MALATESTA passes a SAN check, but still takes one.
He was there just yesterday.
This was exhibited in November of last year (1994).
He tries and fails to argue Santiago down on the price and is very unaware that the gallery owner is hitting on him. Wrapping the painting, MALATESTA asks if Santiago can check on where some of the other paintings might have ended up or ask around about Abigail in general. Since it means they will meet again, Santiago is all too happy to oblige and hands MALATESTA a business card, writing his own number on the back.
MALATESTA: "Cool, man. I'll be in touch with the deets."
Santiago: "Sure...the deets." (I think it pained him to say that word)
Before leaving, he lets go something Abigail mentioned during the exhibition. While unable to recall the name, he thinks she said she got her inspiration from a book of some sort. He thinks the name might have been something French.
Across their lunch table, Cynthia explains she thinks Art Life upper management are content to wait for eviction notices to be served to the remaining tenants.
Cynthia: "I think even if everyone paid what they owe and next month's, management wouldn't change their mind."
MAVERICK: "Why?"
Cynthia: "I think they want to renovate the building. Getting everyone out lets them do that. Spruce it up, hike the rent...I lie awake at night wondering if that's legal. I've never evicted a whole building."
MAVERICK: "One of my colleagues bumped into one of Abigail's neighbours. Mr. Post, Lewis Post I think. Same story with him?"
Cynthia: "Yeah, same as the rest. More or less."
MAVERICK: "More or less?"
Cynthia: "He called me the end of March this year, said he'd be late on the rent, but not to worry and then he started asking me about the building."
MAVERICK: "And you did?"
Cynthia: "Yeah, but I wish I hadn't."
She names a few books she picked up, as Lewis wanted more than just what Art Life had on the Macallistar. MAVERICK wonders why, but she explains Lewis was nice and she was curious herself.
"It's a weird building. Always made me feel...off, being there. I can't remember the last time I went in person."
MAVERICK: "What did you learn? I have the architect's name. Daribondi."
Cynthia: "Asa. Asa Daribondi. The Macallistar was built in 1921. He designed it. He...there was a fire at his office on Mott Street in 1950 and he disappeared. He...he was a murderer, Agent Delapore. They found a child's body on the premises. After that, I stopped looking into it."
There's a long silence. The MAVERICK asks her for keys to the unoccupied apartments. He tells her a story about how when he started out in the Bureau, he was involved in a missing person's case. A little girl and in the end, they found her hiding in her treehouse.
Cynthia: "You think Abigail's still in the building? In one of the empty units?"
MAVERICK: "I don't know, but I can't discount it. I don't think she was in a normative state of mind before she disappeared."
Cynthia considers things. The plates are cleared and the coffee served.
Cynthia reaches into her handbag and removes something. "If management don't care about the building, I don't see why I should either." She hands him a master key. "Don't lose this and borrow it for...give it back to me when you're done."
True to his word, MAVERICK pays the bill.
"I hope you find her, her find something to maybe help. She was nice."
MAVERICK and Cynthia say their goodbyes and he heads to Kips Bay.
In the interim, MIRANDA has joined MILHOUSE and MAIN in the coffeeshop, with MALATESTA arriving with weird painting in tow not long before MAVERICK's arrival.
Unable to contain his excitement, MALATESTA nearly unveils the painting right then and there.
MALATESTA: "You won't believe-"
MIRANDA: "Let's not talk about this here."
MALATESTA: "No, I know, but-"
Coffeeshop patrons are giving the table weird looks.
MIRANDA: "Let's not talk about this here."
MALATESTA: "I was jus-"
MIRANDA: "Let's not talk about this here."
Some of the people are frowning, scowling almost.
MILHOUSE (to the other patrons): "Sorry. Sorry."
MAVERICK arrives not long after and the team reconvenes in the apartment to share what they've learned and determine any plans.
Unable to contain himself, MALATESTA reveals the painting. Everyone except MAIN passes the SAN check for the realisation of what it depicts. MAIN takes 4 SAN loss and does not project. Closing in on his breaking point, MAIN is confused and unable to fully process what's going on and throws himself into another search of the apartment.
MIRANDA is concerned about further exposure to the para-natural and wonders if there is anything they can do to take care. All they can do is be cautious.
MAVERICK wants to make a sweep of the empty apartments in the building. MILHOUSE agrees to partner up with him on that front.
MALATESTA and MIRANDA remain with MAIN in Abigail's apartment to conduct a further search. The three who remain received a +20% bonus to their search rolls and all pass as MAVERICK & MILHOUSE leave to check the building (They can make rolls in the apartment on their return).
They exit the apartment at 2:30pm.
Within, MALATESTA, MAIN & MAVERICK find the following:
A rent receipt with Abigail's name, undated and signature unreadable.
A page of typed script which appears to be a play Abigail was writing. Several names are mentioned: Michelle, Mark & Thomas. Michelle is the first name of one of Abigail's neighbours, right?
A plane ticket in the name of Michael Witwer from Las Vegas to Boston, dated June 6th, 2015.

Post-Mortem
Five players going in different directions was a little tough to juggle, but they were happy with the pace of play and I made sure everyone had something to do.
I knew we weren't going to get through an entire in-game day about an hour in and I should've taken a bit more time to line up what everyone wanted to do at the end of the previous session, but everyone still had fun. Lea put it well: it feels like there's a dam with information gathering against it and it's going to burst.
With four out of the five players having children, I took a short aside during MAVERICK's rp with Cynthia to do a table check. I know the players and they know me and I handled it in the right way as far as they were concerned.
Two sessions in and MAIN is the first character to close on his BP, being 3 or 4 (one bad roll) away from his first disorder. I appreciate this and his reasons for not projecting make sense, in-character. We'll see how that pans out.

The stage: volunteering to help at a free event at the park in my very conservative, very white town. I got assigned a booth where the kids write their name on a piece of cardboard, take small sticks, tree needles, etc and glue them over their name, so at the end the kid has a little piece of artwork that spells out their name.
I saw some bad ones (Mick-Kaiyleigh and Triumf were two contenders for worst fo the day) but the worst one/s?
A family. Dad was wearing a "TRUMP 2024" hat. Mom's lower back and upper titty tattoos had... seen a lot of sun. Their kids names:
Jodlleigh (f - 12ish - pronounced JODL-ee. It might be unrelated but, uh, Google Alfred Jodl. Yikes.)
Ezeikayelle (f - 11ish - sounded just like Ezekiel)
Parslee Peach* (f - 9ish - sounded just like the herb and the fruit)
Sharilou Leighainna* (f - 7ish)
Confederate (m - 5ish - I wish I were kidding)
Dawnald Freedom* (f - 4ish)
Ozean (m - 2 - not pronounced as it would be in German, pronounced Ozz-EE-ain)
Parents wandered off as soon as the kids were settled, and as soon as the parents wandered off, Jodlleigh made a point of telling me that she goes by Jody, and her sisters go by Zizi (Ezeikayelle), Lee (Parsley Peach), and Annie (Sharilou Leighaianna) when their parents are not around. Jody also asked if I could call her youngest siblings by Fred, Dawn and Ozzie because she "hates the way people look at her when people learn [her siblings] names," and to please not tell anyone at school what her real name is**.
All 7 kids may or may not have been snuck extra candy when they were done (no parents in sight, the three oldest girls had the diaper bag and responsibiliteighs).
*in all instances, these are their first names. Mom made a point of making sure Jody and Zizi made sure each kids got a peice of cardboard big enough to hold their "whole, proper names" before she wandered off.
**I help coach the middle school wrestling team, and vaguely know Jody from her spotty practice attendance (we have a Competition Team and a Practice Team, similar to Varsity & JV. Every middle schooler is welcome to attend practice as often as they can as long as they respect their coaches, teammates and equipment, so spotty attendance is common). Also learned she may or may not sneak off to wrestling practice when her church (approx. 15 min walk away) youth group has enough kids in attendance that she won't be missed.
The whole damn thing is a tradegiegh, IMO. Stop giving your kids shitty names and stop making your older girls raise your babies. Ugh.

One thing that I'm not getting here is why Vanessa is even a part of Vanny or Glitchtrap's situation since Double-V is true. When I originally thought up Double-V, I was originally thinking that Vanessa and Vanny were two different people and/or were sharing the role of "Vanny".
It's just one of them was more willing than the other to be a part of Glitcthtrap's machinations than the other. I didn't put too much thought into it, but it was something I wanted to look for until that Security Team revelation came about.
But now I'm left with this puzzle piece called Vanessa that I'm not quite sure what to do with now that I know that Vanny is an entirely separate person from her.
She has to be involved with Vanny and Gltichtrap somehow. Maybe the therapy tapes will help.

• CD 1-Therapist: — but a routine check of your online history has revealed that you spend quite a bit of time with someone in an encrypted conversation. We have transcripts, and I’ve read them, but it’s not clear what you’re talking about in these conversations. I can’t make sense of it. You must be getting something from these that I’m not getting. Right? Who are you talking to in these?

These are all things that would've pointed toward Glitchtrap if I didn't know better. So it's someone else doing this? Why and why her?

• CD 5-Therapist: — Apparently, the IT department has put together a pretty lengthy report chronicling non-job-related communications that have been coming to your computer. — what bothers me about what I read is that the messages you're getting seem very manipulative in nature. —You know who I'm talking about. What you might not know is that this person who's been sending you messages has been hacking into your personal files too.
• CD 5-Vanessa: Lots of people know more than I do. Sometimes I need to listen.

So Vanessa knows who's doing this to her. But she's been refusing to listen to them before and is now being worn down by the spamming messages sent to her. But the fact that she doesn't react to the news that they are digging into her personal life is very concerning!
Also, after going through Vanny's secret dialogue in Help Wanted, Vanessa's overall demeanor in both Security Breach and the Retro Cds clashes hard with Vanny's in both games. Where Vanny sounds and reads eager and nervous, Vanessa is defiant and reluctant with depressed undertones.
Is Vanessa really infected with Glitchtrap?
Yet now that I'm thinking about it, Glitchtrap has no need to do this as him sitting through Vanessa's therapy session with her would give him this info if she was infected. Who's ever doing this doesn't much about her, but would very much like to. Is it Vanny or Gregory...
Wait, hold on. Vanessa's first therapist mentioned that messages were encrypted and couldn't make out what the conversation was about. But the second therapist can understand these messages to know that they're manipulative in nature. Are these two different messengers?!
" I’ve read them, but it’s not clear what you’re talking about in these conversations**.** I can’t make sense of it. You must be getting something from these that I’m not getting." - The first Therapist
"but what bothers me about what I read is that the messages you're getting seem very manipulative in nature." - The second Therapist
What changed? Hmm... What exactly is an encrypted conversation? Maybe explaining that will help.
Encrypted text messaging is a method of secure communication that converts your messages into code. This means that only the recipient with the correct decryption key can read it. - Google
That sounds like what the first Therapist is referring to, but she mentions that they got the transcripts for it. Does that mean that got the code or the decryption key to read it? No, she says transcripts, which means the code itself.
But whatever the first Therapist saw in that transcript was legible enough to read and comprehend. This means the conversation wasn't in computer coding that would require someone in the tech field to decipher it, but just ordinary talk that's hard to understand what it's about.
Okay, that clears things up, they're still the same messenger.

• CD 11-Therapist: So, on your breaks, it looks like you were shopping for a costume. you purchased some fake fur material.
• CD 11- Vanessa: I can't talk about this. He said he would always be watching. He could be here or there or anywhere in between.
• CD 11-Therapist: No, that's not what I mean. You can't just ignore an issue. You have to face your memory of the experiences and process them so you can let it go. So you don't get triggered anymore. you can use this sort of self-dialogue to release these things
• CD 11-Vanessa: I don't like doing that.

This one conversation right here throws everything about Double-V out of whack. Why is Vanessa buying fake fur material? And for the very first time, we know the gender of who's messaging her along that he said that he would always be watching her.
Again the "he" here, and the "he will always be watching" part allude to Glitchtrap at first glance. And again, it can't be him because he should be within Vanessa since they merged in Help Wanted! Even if you dismissed the ending I proposed for Vanny and went with the ending where she gets locked up by Glitchtrap, it still wouldn't be him messaging her about watching here because he would be in her body!
And like I already said before, Vanessa has shown no memory problems or bodily control problems, which would've suggested Glitchtrap's control. No, this means that Gregory is doing all of this.
But why is he going after Vanessa? Geez, It's been a while since I even thought about his past before Security Breach. I forgot how much of a black hole of questions he is, regarding the lore. I'll give my updated thoughts about him after the Double-V revelation later.
For now, after going through all of Gregory's dialogue in Security Breach. It looks like he's not quite aware of the ongoings within the Pizzaplex and is shocked by the level of security can employ later in the night. There may actually be a hint of his hacker background in his dialogue if you squint. And Gregory has absolutely no idea what the rabbit laddy's name is until he gets to Fazerblast.
As for Gregory's involvement with Vanessa... Huh, that's weird. Gregory doesn't say Vanessa's name even once in Security Breach. Matter of fact, after the beginning sequence where Vanessa confronts Freddy about him, Gregory just stops talking about or even mentioning her for the rest of the game. This includes the confrontation that leads to her locking him up in Lost and Found and after it...
No matter how you slice it, Gregory's silence about her is super loud with alarm bells. Sure, he dismisses her as working with Vanny in the beginning, but it shouldn't mean that she should be an afterthought to him! Like, Gregory only talks about or mentions "the rabbit lady" after the beginning of the game.
In fact, if we were to rank every important character that Gregory talks about or mentions in his dialogue for Security Breach from most to least, it would look like this.

1. Freddy - 33 times
2. Vanny - 6 times
3. Chica - 6 times
4. Roxy - 4 times
5. Monty - 3 times
6. Moon - 3 times
7. Vanessa - 3 times
8. Burntrap - 1 time

That's absurd! Especially since she's the only other human worker in the Pizzaplex, besides Vanny, who encounters and confronts him. Like, he doesn't even try to communicate with her at all during the entire game!
Even when discovering Vanny's hideout in Fazerblast and Freddy suggests that Vanny is Vanessa due to deduceing Vanny's name being a combination of Vanessa + Bunny, Gregory remains silent about it! No, "Oh maybe you're right." or "That sounds too simple to be right", but instead there's no response to what might be the identity of your pursuer!
It's like he doesn't want to talk about her...
He knows her, he has to know Vanessa! Yet, he said, "I don't know who she is, but she's trying to get me!" to Freddy. Is he lying? No, he just knows about her.

• CD 14-Therapist: —They report that they've caught you on camera, or at least it appears to be you. — Well the techs are convinced that you've hacked into their system many times. — the electronics you like? I saw in your file that you have developed software programs that talk to you and repeat phrases, right? The program asks you questions and prompts you for responses. It's kind of like your own self therapy, isn't it? Another way of talking to yourself to work things out, right? When I saw some of your recent encrypted conversation logs, that's what I thought I was looking at. It felt like I was watching someone go back and forth in their own head, but the text found something that's different than that. When I read what they found, at first I thought I was looking at more examples of you just talking with yourself. Then I realized it was different. When I study this, it sounds like there is someone else responding to you. Who is it?

This is either hinting towards Gregory talking directly to Vanessa or Glitchtrap. But something that confuses me is why the therapist has or even be able to see Gregory's encrypted conversation logs?
I'll admit that I'm ignorant about therapy, but should your therapist have access to stuff you created outside of therapy? Unless Gregory created the program on a computer in therapy. It could explain how he's gotten access to Vanessa's files. But I'll drop that talk for now.
Something that's being made clear to me now is that Vanessa is not as connected to the villains as Gregory is, as she's more surprised by the changing of therapist than he is. In fact, Gregory knows why the therapists are disappearing, knows exactly when the therapists do something that would cause them to disappear, and doesn't seem upset when they show up mangled and dead.
But more than anything, Gregory knew Vanny long before Security Breach started. There's no reason why Gregory would know Vanny has enough control over the Pizzaplex to cut off Freddy from the network, in just one encounter. If anything, he should have assumed she was some weirdo stranger in the Pizzaplex that the security and the police needed to take care of.
But he already knew that Vanny had power in the Pizzaplex, maybe not the full scope, but enough to know that if she and he ever came into conflict with one another that ended with her wanting to hurt him then he needed to get out of the Pizzaplex.
Funnily enough, this actually lines up with the first-ever trailer for Security Breach, where Vanny says: "Gregory, I may have lost my temper earlier. But it was just a glitch!" Which implies they talking neutrally before whatever made Vanny lose her temper." Again, I'm not using this as evidence as it's been cut, instead, I'm suggesting that the idea might have merit.

• CD-Therapist: — I have this still shot the techs pulled from the security footage that recorded you in the pizzaplex. That's you, isn't it? I know this image is distorted but I think it looks like you. And you're not alone here. You're talking to someone, or something. it's hard to tell. What are those things? They almost look like rabbit ears. What? You find that amusing? Well I guess it is.

I had always flipped-flopped between the mysterious person being either Glamrock Bonnie or Vanny. Both are connected to Glitchtrap, so either would fit here as Glitchtrap wouldn't be captured by a camera. But with the new evidence I've discovered, Vanny fits as Gregory's mysterious rabbit correspondent in the Pizzaplex.
But what about Vanessa? Is Gregory hacking into her files or is it Vanny and Glitchtrap? Or perhaps Gregory is hacking into her files on behalf of Glitchtrap and Vanny. Either way, Vanessa is getting dragged into Gregory and the Villian's group chat.
Speaking of the therapy, if we take into account the Retro-CD's numbering system the first two numbers are the patient ID number, and the last two numbers are the number of times both Gregory and Vanessa have been to therapy, then we can uncover some invaluable information.
Gregory has been in therapy longer than Vanessa and he was also in therapy before her too. But combining this CD's numbering system with a theory from the Talesbook story, GGY, that Gregory only goes to therapy on Sunday. Then Gregory has been going to therapy for a year and a half.
And if Vanessa is following the weekly therapy session pattern, then she's only been going to it for a little more than half a year. This means she started her therapy just about after Gregory hit his half-year mark for therapy. In addition to all that, Vanessa stopped going to therapy once she was transferred to a new location and never met the fourth and final therapist of the CDs.
Just something you all should keep in mind.
But Gregory definitely knows about her at the very least. That knowledge, I guess, is the reason why he's so shocked to see her face under Vanny's mask in the "To The Rooftop" ending. He knows that Vanessa and Vanny are two different people, but doesn't know that they look alike because he never encountered Vanny before Security Breach without her mask or costume.
On the subject of costumes, I still got no answer for Vanessa's purchase of fake animal fur or what's even happening with her now.
To be honest, this would be so simple and easy if Vanessa was just Vanny. But like as I have shown many times before in both this series and the previous one, simple and easy answers are not always the correct ones.
So, instead of looking for signs of the villain's goal with Vanessa in the lore. Let's look at the similarities and differences between the double Vs.
Vanessa's characteristics are.

• Depressed
• Has anxiety issues
• Tired (It's something that has been mentioned by the first and third therapists in CD-1 and CD-10. But seems to have more to do with the messages she's getting than how she usually is.)
• Likes the blue sky
• Likes to sit outside and read
• Watchful about her calorie intake
• Likes flowers or at least the sweet smell of them
• Doesn't like dark basements
• Oh, and hates kids

Vanny's characteristics are.

• Loves Pizza, especially pepperoni (Huh, no wonder she likes Chica)
• Absolutely, does not care about her calorie intake or a healthy diet (Seriously, Girl has gone full gamer mode with the amount of Fizzy Faz, straw drinks, and pizza boxes in areas with her presence in them)
• Hobbies in painting or graffiti
• Likes or used to like Glitchtrap or maybe William Afton (I talk about this in the secret ending)
• Loves Fazbear Entertainment (Vanny uses red spray paint in Ruin and has drawn two hearts on the FAZ ENT. Logo in the main Lobby)
• Likes Toy Chica
• Likes the Daycare Attendant (She seems to be fond of Moon more)
• Likes to read, or at least, read about the World History of Fazbear Entertainment
• Likes Flowers, a specific species of them(that I can't determine right now)
• Likes summer
• Is a mechanic or roboticist or both (She making something in Ruin Fazerblast and has turned Ruin Monty into her lapdog among other things)
• Super lazy (This one may or may not be true, but unless there's a good reason why she refuses to clean up her room in Fazer Blast, this is staying right here as far as I'm concerned)

Wow, I did not realize we already knew this much about Vanny just from the environment storytelling of the games until I listed them!
Anyway, as you can see, there are some very similar likes between the two and very stark differences in traits as well. I'm not about to list them to save word space, but instead, I want to answer a question. Could Vanessa still be Vanny despite their differences? This isn't so much for me, but for the people who believe Vanny = Vanessa despite my Double-V evidence.
At first, I thought there might've been a chance for that as they both like flowers, to read, and enjoy the outside, or at least the summer in Vanny's case. But now, after listing everything out they're just too different to say they're the same.
Even if we say that Vanny's love of pizza, general bad diet, and trashy room is the result of Vanessa coping with her depression and her situation with Glitchtrap and that her graffiti is the by-product of therapy, along with her interest in growing flowers. That doesn't negate the fact that in Ruin when given the chance to express her anxiety, Vanny doesn't take it.
If you don't know, on the wall where Vanny drew her face next to a slice of pizza in the main lobby near the Superstar Daycare entrance, there is a painted graph. The artist who made the graph also wrote on the right side of it; "TAG YOURSELF".
On all four sides of the graph, the artist made the furthest sides of them represent something. The top Y-axis is Wizard, the bottom Y-axis is Cedar the left X-axis is Filled with a word that ends in a y, and the right X-axis is Filled with anxiety.
What this graph is showing, or what the artist trying to convey with it, is that each of the four points represents not quite the opposite thing but the furthest thing from each other. Of which, Vanny decided to tag herself on the furthest left X-axis, not the right.
This tells us that Vanny feels the furthest thing from anxiety. Something Vanessa, no matter if she's under Glitchtrap's control or not, would be constantly feeling as she suffers from it.
As for what she's feeling, I don't know, the word on the left graph is unreadable and covered by Vanny's face to make it almost impossible to decipher. But what I do know without a doubt, is that Vanny and Vanessa are indeed, two different people with some common likes and polar opposite traits.
So after everything I've talked about in the last three? four? However many parts I've been going over Double-V, what is the best possible answer for the "To The Rooftop" ending stinger. Why do Vanny and Vanessa look alike?
I tried, I really did. I looked for as much possible evidence for anything that doesn't just make me give up and say "She's a Fazgoo clone!" or "She's a robot!"
If Vanny was a stranger who mimicked Vanessa's face, then that's cool and horrifying, but only where it concerns Vanessa herself. (The horrifying part, not the cool part.) It doesn't give us reasons why she would do it in the first place or a way to connect it to the greater lore and Glitchtrap, besides she's a human Mimic. Basically, it lacks motivation from everyone in the Villian party.
So it leaves me with no other conclusion except for one.
Back when the marketing for Security Breach was building up to its release. Steel Wool released four old Freddy cartoon episodes on their YouTube channel. Each episode hides a teaser image for the lore, including a character from the games with words, along with a character stinger at the end.
The last carton, which is the most distorted one, just so happened to include Vanessa as the hidden teaser, and Vanny as the character stinger at the end. And before you all jump the gun, previous episodes have already established that the hidden character teasers have no correlation to the ending Character stinger.
Now, the words in the Vanessa teaser image are quite interesting. It includes "Test and Rat" in the upper right corner, "Pool" in the bottom left corner, and "Bleak Reactant".
Test and Rat could be Test rat or Laboratory rat (Lab rat) as in the species of rat that are bred and kept for scientific research. Lab rat here can also be referring to Vanessa being a lab rat for the villain's experiment for something.
Using that explanation, "Pool" would then mean group or pool of people, which means number of people available for an organization or group to use. So Pool would mean that Vanessa was chosen out of all the Fazbear employees or people in general to be used for the experiment.
This leaves us with Bleak Reactant, which the definition of reactant is a substance that takes part in and experiences change during a reaction, while the definition of bleak could mean lacking vegetation (an area of land), dreary (a room), miserable(the weather), or unfavorable (outcome.)
All of this together means that Vanessa was chosen by the villains out of a group of people to be used for an experiment. An experiment of a change in Vanessa that predicted an unfavorable outcome for the villains.
Vanessa was going to be the next Vanny or maybe something else.
That gives a reason why the villains were so interested in her, why she would be shopping for a costume, why she would be at the Pizzaplex, and why she would be still connected to the villains when someone else is Vanny.
But the reason she was chosen in the first place, why her out of a group of people that might've included Gregory in it too, is because the one who chose her was her own twin sister.
If anyone remembers my only Ruin theory then you would remember my mentioning of Glitchtrap's and Vanny's conversation from Scott's website from a Security Breach poster.
Glitchtrap: "Stay the course."
Vanny: "I will."
Glitchtrap: "Focus on my voice."
Vanny: "I will."
Glitchtrap: "Don't let anyone lead you astray."
Vanny: “I won't.”
Glitchtrap: "Have you selected one?"
Vanny: "I have."
In my theory, I proposed that Gregory was the one that Vanny mentioned selecting here. But now, with all the revelations and new information gained, I believe Vanessa works better here. Vanny would've chosen someone for an experiment that she personally knew of or gotten to know, and who better than her own sibling that she grew up with.
Remember, Vanny is just starting out in her following of Glitchtrap. So would be new to the whole evil thing. And most of the time, the people close to you are the ones that would most likely commit a crime against you.
As for the twin sister thing, it actually didn't come from the "To The Rooftop" ending, but a discussion from the GTlive stream where Mat hosted a little get-together with some of the FNAF YouTuber theorists after Security Breach. There, John Fuhnaff suggested the idea for it from the VR Sisters boss from the Security Breach game Scott made when Security Breach got delayed again.
It's something that I saw some merit in after I discovered the Vanny ≠ Vanessa and after disproving in my head that Vanny wasn't Tape Girl either. The best part of the twin sister thing is that there's no need to throw out all that we know from Vanessa's therapy sessions as they both share the divorced parent's backstory.
As for which is the order twin between the two, I believe Vanessa is the oldest since it makes sense that her father would use the oldest to testify against their mother as she would better understand his instructions. Plus it provides a potential grudge from Vanny to Vanessa for what happened to their mother and a misguided parental affection for Glitchtrap. Unless Vanny's just a fangirl of William Afton, which could be the case.
Also, this means that the reason Vanessa looks the way she does in "To The Rooftop" end credits is because she looking at her dead sister. Oof, I realized that this also means she would've been the one who finds what's left of her in the "Disassemble Vanny" ending too. No wonder Faz Ent. is temporarily closed if they find that one employee is disassembled and the other one is having a mental breakdown from it in the morning.
But what about the "Redemption" ending? We know that by beating PQ3 both Glitchtrap and Vanny are defeated in it. What happens to her then? Where did she go? Hmm... I'm not sure.
What happens when someone is unmerged after being merged for a long time? Unlike Vanessa, we know that Vanny lives in the Pizzaplex. Even by Ruin and Help Wanted 2, she's still living in the building despite its condition so she probably needs time to think and process what happened to her and what's she done. Oh, and therapy. And a house.
But I think that just about wraps everything up for— Wait, HW2's Candy Cadet story! I forgot all about it! I know some people mentioned that the second story had to do with Vanessa, Gregory, and Gltichtrap. Let me skim through that real quick for clues.
Oh. Oh, that's really interesting... But it along with the Jeremy and the Memory dolls can wait until after next time. Sorry for the little to no pictures, I needed space to fit everything in one post and wanted to get everything about Double-V out of the way before I go on hiatus.
Don't worry it has nothing to do with burnout. It won't be too long either, though knowing my track record when saying that, you probably don't believe me.
Truth is, I've been severely neglecting my YouTube channel, and should really start catching up the YouTube version of my series with the online version. Plus, I've got more "Prove it!" to work on.
But most important of all, my birthday is coming up, and I don't want to work, think, or have anything to do with my FNAF stuff on that day. So! Feel free to read and become full with these last few Parts until I come back with more.

I don't know if it's the right sub for this post, I am 22F , my profile was 89%/92%/ 8 CGPA. I was good in academics and used to do extracurricular activities in school. I also had a beautiful 5 year old relationship with this guy. Everything seemed perfect, we both wanted to do MBA, get well settled and marry. I gave CAT 22 and my percentile was 49 cause I didn't study well and I was busy enjoying my college life. So I was all set to take a drop cause I knew it would make it to a good B school.
Fast forward to July, my bf now ex had certain issues going on, he didn't want to take a drop so he went to a tier 3 college, Amity bhubaneswar. My mental health was on toll, I used to have intense panic attacks and started becoming sick physically too. But still was managed to study anyhow, but things took a dark turn when my ex dumped me over a small argument. He completely went 360°. I tried all my efforts to win him back, from begging to bargaining, but he left me at my worst knowing my exam was only a month later. I came to know that he was seeing someone else and 2 weeks later after the breakup jumped into another relationship with that same girl of his college.
This literally devastated me in the worst ways possible, I couldn't study at all and my mental health was deteriorated to the point where I couldn't see myself even alive. I failed CAT miserably, even in nmat I scored 200 marks and snap I couldn't clear. I was stuck in this vicious cycle of seeing failure, unable to move on, processing the betrayal and trying to study. Everyday felt like a struggle, I couldn't stop ruminating about whatever happened and on top of that family giving me taunts that I couldn't make it.
But then I kept going , however hard it was, I kept making efforts and then even though I was filled with so much of self doubts and trauma, I'm glad I scored 97 in CMAT, this win may not be a big thing, but it is for me. I cleared the cutoff of Welingkar, IMT Nagpur and BIMTECH. Am thinking to join one of these colleges, at least it's better than his AMITY BBSR lol.. I'm gonna work hard to convert them and start a new beginning.

Hey gang, spirits are low from the unfortunate lack of news from yet another big gaming showcase, but I want to restore some hope for the community by reminding us that there is still one more opportunity for Silksong in a showcase this month, and it’s the best chance yet.

• Nintendo has announced that there is a direct happening this month focusing on games coming to the platform in the later half of this year, the day itself has yet to be announced but it should be soon
  
• The recent logins of the kickstarter are signs that something is going on
  
• Finally, the reason why I do think it will appear at this June direct, is how Nintendo for some reason decided to offer free Hollow Knight for all switch online members. You don’t just put a game like that for free out of the blue without knowing something the masses don’t. I think Nintendo has the Silksong trailer in their upcoming direct, and they’re putting the original Hollow Knight on free trial right now to build interest in the series before the sequel is revealed in the coming days.
  

So what do you guys think? I honestly think there’s a good chance - more than any showcase we’ve watched in a while - it will show there. All the signs point to it. So hold those heads up high, and wallow not in despair!

Is there such a thing as finding too much treasure?

The new room could only be described as unfinished, you thought to yourself. You were passing under an arch of a building on your way through here and saw that hanging from it were supposed to be two drooping ropes with flags(or whatever this is supposed to be), but instead, you saw a purple digital polygonal imitation of it.
Other purple digital polygonal objects took the appearance of other real things in the area, but they lacked the what?-factor of the digital floating purple particles or what was going on with the ceiling of the room as it was a just purple grid. (Welcome to the AR world Jeremy. Glitchtrap's twisted wonderland.)
But this was all a distraction from the newly introduced threat in the form of Moon, as now you sought targets that prevent his deadly approach to your ride, all while you heard his chuckles.
In the next room, the situation was the same, except you saw different varieties of purple digital things pouring into the area. (Nice! it's the Princess Quest 3 purple pattern from Vanny's room and the purple arching energy from the wrecking ball in Roxy Raceway! I didn't notice them on the first watchthrough of the game, so it's nice to see and know what that connection is. Though now that I'm thinking about it, it's so weird that Princess Quest 4 shows no connection to anything, unlike its prequel.
Is it because the FNAF6's Pizzeria is so digitally distorted by Glitchtrap in the network that it doesn't show the tell-tale signs of the AR world or is it because the Pizzeria's sub-network isn't as connected to the greater network. Hmm... Something to look into later.)
As you continued to move through the area you saw more and more purple things just crawling throughout as you kept alert for specific targets to stall Moon. (Where in the world is this place? There's no such location we visit in Ruin that has this much wrecking ball energy flowing through it.)
But as you gazed about, you immediately spotted a blue blast-shaped button ahead and above on an arch. It's just like what the "message" depicted! Quickly you pointed your hand cannon at it and shot a couple times until you hit it. You were definitely on the right track now.
Passing under it, you were getting close to the double doors that lead to the next area, though curiously you saw purple digital particles that unlike before, were dripping from the ceiling like the floor above you was flooded.
(Okay, the only place that had to drip purple particles like this was the Upper East Server. That in addition to the purple grid on the ceiling above us, tells me we're directly under it, or really near to it. That sorta makes sense, because Foxy Log Ride is in/next to Glamrock Salon which is right next to the Upper East Server. It's so cool to be able to piece that together!)
But surprisingly, after going through those double doors, you were right back on the track heading towards a familiar area you had been to the first time you did this. Did the alternate paths weave in and out of the standard path? That must be it, you thought as you got all of the targets and headed to the next area where the train robbery scene takes place.
Immediately, after the lights flickered back on from the transitional darkness but before you enter the train robbery. You spotted another Helpy cutout and quickly shot it before you passed it.
Passed the train robbery scene is where you expected the path to diverge to the glitched route as you had taken to calling them, and lo and behold, as soon as you had gone through the train and through the double door at the end of it, you found yourself in a new area.
You heard Captain Foxy's voice once again as you entered the new route. "We be not responsible for any maimings that might happen on this here path." If you haven't already had a trip through an alternate path before, you're sure you'll be questioning how you would be maimed during the ride.
Your ride strolled ahead and entered chambers where you now had to shoot the targets to closed doors and block the Moon, rather than to earn points. However, as you did this, you heard people's laughter replacing the general ambiance of the ride. (I wonder if there's something with this.)
In these chambers, you shot another blue blast-shape button that you saw above near the ceiling, while you defended yourself from Moon's relentless drive to get to you on the ride.
But you eventually persevered through it all and made it back to the normal track again where you collected yourself by shooting at targets without worrying about the threat of Moon. But too soon to you, you found another Helpy cutout, which you shot of course, and was once again heading towards the dangerous alternate path. (Oh, I forgot to mention that these specific Helpy cutouts can be found in the original Pirate Ride in Help Wanted. And in Monty Golf and Superstar Daycare in Ruin. I wonder if Vanny had moved them there after the Help Wanted 2?)
This time noted by Captain Foxt with a simple "Overboard!"
The alternate path this time had no laughing ambiance and had you getting up close and personal with a dancing Moon unless you shot all the targets to make him go away from the platforms near where your ride gets the closest to them by turning on the lights. (Hmm... could this be a point against 1983 Moon? Why would 83 Moon be affected by light still? Also, is the laughing important? A hint to something?)
Another blue blast-shaped button was found and shot while on this path of constant danger, but with skill, awareness, and luck, you managed to get through it all. (Yeah I know there are gravestones in this specific area, but I'm not sure if it's referencing the missing 5 plus Charlie gravestone or if it's just props.)
Now you were back on the normal track, and as went through the next two areas you knew that the ride was coming to an end as you came upon the familiar comforting scene of Foxy and Chica along with other animals surrounding a cake and celebrating as you heard Captain Foxy say, "And the real treasure was friendship along."
(Both the scene and Captain Foxy's exact words are a call back to the original Pirate Ride in the first Help Wanted)
But as you stared at the scene, you finally realized that the cake itself had a blue blast-shaped button on it and proceeded to shoot it. To think that you were looking at it and didn't even realize it the first time you came through here. But now it's all over and you can finally see your improved score and get back to the restaurant.
Yet, as the lights flickered off and you moved forward in the darkness, you noticed something was wrong. The western-theme ambiance that was always there on the normal path came to an abrupt halt and left only silence and the everpresent noise of shifting water in its departure.
Suddenly the three spotlights lit up the path ahead of you, revealing to you a treasure chest on a miniscule island under the third one. As your ride got close to it, you noticed a couple of broken wooden boards on the side of the island, next to a crumple Pirate Foxy Flag.
As your ride came to a stop right next to the wooden box, it unexpectedly opened. (waaaaaaaait a minute! ITS THE CORN MAZE BOX!!! It's redesigned, but it's definitely it! Coincidently or is it Intentional? It has to be, they could have used an actual treasure chest for this, so it has to be intentional. Why? Memory Dolls... memories... William's Mask! It's the key to Glitchtrap!)
Gently, softly, the box's lid came open and a green costumed hand came out from the darkness within. The hand smoothly snaked out of the box until it was outstretched to you, revealing to you the treasure that it held in its palm. It was a doll, an unusual one at that, as it looked to be made by crocheting some wool into a human figure plushie. But stranger than that was the fact that it was wearing a Foxy mask.
You didn't know why, but you reached out to the hand, and hesitantly, grabbed the doll and watched as it poofed into purple smoke. The hand, with no doll in its grasp, sleeked backed into the box as the lid closed itself and your surroundings plunged into darkness.
Next thing you knew, the sound of celebrating cries filled your ears as you were back into the GAME WON! void. Stunned by the sudden change in your surroundings, you automatically hit the button for the crane machine to receive your prize with no thought. Your prize this time was a poster for Ballora titled DANCE!
Yet even though it was something new and interesting, your mind refused to be distracted from the bizarre event that just happened seconds ago. But no matter how much you tried to wrap your head around it, no matter how many times you tried to make sense of it, all you could blankly think is, what?
You felt strange, but you knew you had to keep moving forward. So you pressed the RETURN TO HUB button and returned to darkness to go back to the restaurant. Still, the sight of the Foxy doll never once left your mind.
Remember Jeremy? (the achievement for collecting the memory doll)

The achievement has twisted this Help Wanted phrase into a question. And finally, an answer was given to another. Everything is starting to make sense, but joy am I finding too much stuff! I reached my limit a couple Parts ago and now I'm beyond that!
But thankfully. Thankfully! we reached the end of Foxy Log Ride and now I can talk about Vanny, Vanessa, Jeremy, the Memory dolls, and even Glitchtrap now, because why not. What other discoveries while mentally exhausted from this stuff!
Don't worry, I know not to burn myself and take breaks. But still, I eventually have to come back to finish this, and that in itself creates mental fatigue. So let's finish this by starting with the long overdue conclusion of Double-V!
The last time we talked about this, I ended it by saying we'll go through the contradictions of Vanny's and Vanessa's character hinted in Ruin and Help Wanted 2. However, I want to go back a bit to when we were first introduced to Vanny as a character in Help Wanted the Curse of Dreabear.
It's only a few lines of dialogue, so it won't be long. Besides, Vanny apparently being a different person than Vanessa, means we can't exactly apply one's characteristics to the other. With Vanny only having so few lines and cameos in Security Breach, she is basically, completely unknown to us.
So what dialogue we know comes from her, needs to be under even heavy scrutiny for any hints of the personality and characteristics of our new villain.
Before we even start with her dialogue, something interesting has already happened in the preceding events. By finding and resembling the secret tapes and doing exactly what Tape Girl says in the final tape we attain the glitchy Glitchtrap plushie
"There is a way to kill it. It wants to escape. To escape through someone. Someone plugged into this game. That's you now. You have to let it begin the process of leaving through you, then use the disconnect switch that I've embedded by the main stage. Let it approach you. Let it begin to merge with you. Play the music and flip the switch*.* That will cause a hard restart of the game and flush the memory, effectively killing it, I hope. I don't know when it will come for you." -Tape 16
Now, we already know that this does not work at all in the slightest, as this method instead has Glitchtrap trapping and locking you up as he is let out of the game through the player's body that he now has control of. Digital Consciousness Transfer.
Next with the installment of the DLC, we acquire William Afton's old mask from the Corn Maze minigame after finding all four keys and the secret glitchy fifth key and head to the cellar where we discover the mask on a table on a candle.
With both of the items together worn and held respectively, we can hear the secret dialogue and the voice of Vanny for the very first time.
“Yes, I hear you. I know... No. There's no miscommunication... I understand... Yes, I have it. I made it myself. I think you would like it... No, no one suspects anything... Don't worry, I'll be ready, and I won't let you down. It will be fun.”
This means that the event that Vanny met Glitchtrap was, in fact, the ending of Help Wanted where you follow through on Tape Girl's deceptive instructions on digital transferring with Glitchtrap!
But right here, is where a slight problem occurs in the narrative of Vanny's story in the games. Vanny still has control of her body, she's still capable of defying Glitchtrap. Something that's been made clear to me through both Ruin and Help Wanted 2, is that Glitchtrap doesn't control Vanny at all.
Does he influence her? Yes. We see that in the way her costume is directly referencing him and the way she moves and dances.
Does he control her, however, that is where things get shaky. Because at this point in time, there hasn't been a single instance where Vanny is seen as someone being controlled.
Remember, we can't use anything that has to do with Vanessa to show that Vanny is being manipulated or controlled. So where in the new era games can you find Glitchtrap controlling Vanny?
You can't.
Does this mean she's doing this out of her own will? That is something that might've been more nuanced than what we all had perceived. Because I did it again, I've found more stuff! This time it's something important that everyone has missed in Help Wanted and it might well be the true origins of Vanny.
You see the base game of Help Wanted actually has a third ending to it. Or at least something that should be an ending. Besides, just completing all the minigames to get stuffed inside Freddy and following Tape Girl's 16th tape instruction, there's something else you can do that involves Glitchtrap.
That is let Glitchtrap complete the process of leaving through you.
I'm sure some of you are confused by what I'm talking about, but it's the sequence where you press the button and flip the switch, leading to the ending where Glitchtrap locks you up. I'm saying instead of doing that, do nothing and watch what happens next.
A blaring noise could be heard asGlitchtrap stretched his hand out to you. He spoke distortedly and unintelligible, while green cones of energy flowed out from him and toward you. In seconds, Glitchtrap's eyes turned red, the blaring noise increased its volume, and the energy cones became purple while your view became clouded in a purple haze. Soon purple spots began to appear on Glitchtrap's body, as the noise became too loud to your ears, and the energy cones became red as your vision was almost nothing but purple. Soon even Glitchtrap started to disappear into the purple as his body became pixelated by the purple, leaving only his general outline until even that became purple.
Finally, after your purple vision grew flickering bright and the blaring noise ceased, your vision slowly returned to you, accompanied by music and the sound of static from a monitor. (That's the same music that plays if you press the button on the side of the monitor and the static sound you're hearing is specifically from FNAF's 2 game over static.)
At first, your purple view distorted itself with pixels before the purple started to fade slightly as you could see the hub world. But your perspective was wrong, you were staring from the opposite side of where you were sitting, while the place you once stood at was empty.
Your vision, still overlayed with purple while distorted and pixelated, looked down as you brought your hands up. Your hands which were always outlined and seethrough, now looked solid and were covered by gloves of a familiar costume that you were just staring at a couple seconds ago.
As the purple started to overwhelm your distorted and pixelated vision again as you stared at your— Glitchtrap's hands, your mind was finally able to recognize the words that were being spoken to you by him.
"Can you hear me?"
If you want to see this for yourself, then I have two Youtubers that I managed to find, that did this. 99TH VR and 8-bitRyan.
After this, you're taken to the GAME OVER void. But what's unique about this void is that the monitor here never displays any quotes, no matter how many times you do this.
This ending that should've been, along with what "Tape Girl" said before finally reveal what exactly Vanny is.
"—Let it approach you. Let it begin to merge with you. —." -Tape 16
A merger, a fusion of two different beings, that's what Vanny is! This is why I was having so much trouble trying to figure out how Vanny came to be from the two "endings" we get from Help Wanted. The answer is neither of the two. She mostly came from the failed Tape Girl instructions scenario where Glitchtrap completes his merger with someone to get out of the game.
It also explains why we see gigantic Vanny in Help Wanted 2's consequences ending and adds even more reason why an altered EnemyBasic appears on her wall in the AR world! Vanny herself is not infected as we first believed, but rather a fused entity between Glitchtrap and someone else.
With this origin, she would still be able to traverse and interact with things connected to the network if she's plunged into it.
And considering what she's wearing in Security Breach and that the Security Mask and the occipital transponder are a technology that exists now in the current FNAF lore. She has every way she needs to stay connected to the Pizzaplex's network. But let's get back to her dialogue and dissect it.
"Yes, I hear you. I know... No. There's no miscommunication... I understand... Yes, I have it. I made it myself. I think you would like it... No, no one suspects anything... Don't worry, I'll be ready, and I won't let you down. It will be fun.”
We can immediately pinpoint a characteristic of Vanny with the entirety of this dialogue, willing and eager to please. I would also put young in that description, but I don't if it's because she's actually young here or that the voice actress has a bit of a youth tone to their voice.
Anyway, the "Yes, I have it. I made it myself. I think you would like it" part of her dialogue was already analyzed by me before, but let me elaborate on something I've been thinking about.
William's Mask has to be in the current Fazbear Entertainment's possession because the pizzaplex hasn't been built yet or is in the middle of being constructed by the time of Help Wanted's development or release since Cassie herself refers to it as an "old headset game", so the Security Mask isn't around just yet.
What I'm thinking here is that Vanny had come across it sometime to use as a reference for her costume. And make no mistake, Vanny's mask is making a callback to it as it's only a slight redesign and recolor to make it her own. Even Cassie makes notes of Vanny's mask being similar to the Security Mask by how she mistakes them for being the same.
But that doesn't sound right. Vanny wasn't working with Fazbear Entertainment when she met Glitchtrap, just under them through the second development team. Plus, most of the game was developed under a different team until it was in its beta version while Vanny's team had just come in to finish it to release it.
We have already seen what an object created solely by Glitchtrap looks like in Help Wanted in the form of his plushies, so we already know that he didn't recreate the mask in the game.
So maybe I'm thinking about this the wrong way. Both the mask and Grimm Foxy show up in Princess Quest, and we have already established how both important relate to William and Glitchtrap. And both are what are needed to destroy Glitchtrap.
Where did we first see that Mask? Not in the Help Wanted base game but in the Halloween DLC. That means the game was still being worked on even after its release, so Vanny would've had time to model this mask into the game. But why? I think these game-over quotes that show up only in Dreadbear are a clue.

• Report glitches before they spread.
• Don't look behind you.
• It's only a dream.
• Where am I?
• Purging system...

The report glitches quote, easily fits with what Vanny is talking about in with the "No, no one suspects anything." The "Where am I" part is intriguing, but I don't think I can pin that to Vanny. Hmm... I wonder if this is where our Golden Princess comes to be. It's something to look into later.
It's the "Purging system" part that is what I want to focus on here. This provides the needed explanation for things being the way they are now. Glitchtrap, the one that's not merged into Vanny, might've started running rampant during the DLC development, causing either Fazbear Entertainment or Vanny's development team to focus entirely on shutting him down.
The purging of the system might've been their solution for him. This might've worked too if Vanny wasn't already created by the time of the purging. And since Vanny is working under Glitchtrap here, she would've been in the perfect position to take Glitchtrap and everything he contains out of Help Wanted and into a developing game called Princess Quest(Working Title). Though, Vanny might've rushed the job under such circumstances, taking part of The Curse of Dreadbear's code along with Glitchtraps into the new game.
But that's all for now, I'll talk about that more when we get Princess Quest 4.
"I'll be ready, and I won't let you down. It will be fun.” This right here, more than anything, tells us that Vanny is not so much reluctant but more following in the Glitchtrap's order than we all first believed. But we shouldn't be so surprised about it.
Vanny's previous alias, "Reluctant Follwer", didn't come from any of the games, books, or even Scott's website but instead came from voices.com, a website Scott uses to find voice actors. The name is used as a guide for the actor and a descriptor for how the voice should be toned and acted.
The name is an oversimplification of a character for how they're going to sound in the one game they appear in, not all. So the name "Reluctant Follwer" would've only applied to Vanny in this game.
And as we see from Security Breach, Vanny is anything but reluctant to follow Glitchtrap's order. Yet after that game and as of Ruin and HW2, that name might been more appropriate now than it was back then as there appears to be a rift now between the two. But more on that at a later.
One last thing. With this origin in place, we now have another explanation for why we only hear Vanny's side of the conversation and not Glitchtrap's. We are hearing Glitchtrap's side of that conversation, he is her. It's the reason why her voice becomes echoey in her final word, fun.

i watched every episode twice bc i would go back and watch the side+ eps when they leaked after the yt eps lol. i want to say if you bought side+ for inside you got fucked. not only did they post all the content from side+ to youtube for free…. its literally maybe 15min of extra content per ep…… and not even anything interesting just elongated convos that you mostly already saw on yt. and there was no episode or anything yesterday i thought side+ would get exclusive unseen bits or something but nope !
the show itself i thought was actually pretty good for a knock off locked in to be fair. i do agree with everyone that it was rushed especially now knowing they filmed it two weeks ago meaning they had to crunch an edit 150+ of content. all the spoilers and mishaps make alot more sense. the challenges were pretty boring i cant lie none of them even stood out to me to even name them rn.
people hate the voting system but i think it worked perfectly. having them vote for each other causes more tension and is more natural than audience vote which would have just been a popularity contest and whoever the audience didnt like atm would get voted. i like it much better that the people who actually have a chance of getting the money decide who gets the money.
As for the contestants i think this was an AMAZING group together they genuinely saved the show. even though ppl are complaining abt basically everyone thats the whole point of reality tv.. the contestants and their personalities CARRIED. some more than others but everyone had their role in the house. ALSO the spending was the whole point was to spend money so icba to care if they spent 2£ or the whole mil .
leah - never heard of her before this. she went out second so not many opinions on her. she was very sweet and it was cute that she didnt want to spend the money but u had to know she was going to go out bc she (and nife i think) were constantly bringing up the money that ppl were spending. but very cute and determined.
joe weller- i know about him through sidemen but never been into his content. i actually didnt mind joe at all. i thought he was very wholesome and fun.i wish he was there longer to show more of his personality. his only mishap was when he decided to cause a scene instead of addressing manrika head on. i knew when he was yelling in room 19 after walking out of the room full of the whole cast wo saying anything to go talk shit he was gone. and everyone was on manrikas side (except castillo) even though they didnt want to say it. you can tell by the streams and things theyve said after the fact reacting to it. and i believe castillo was right no one liked him after that and the whole fanum beach ball debacle. and i believe he he was trying to play money manager as well.
castillo brev - never heard of him before either. THE MAIN VILLAIN every good show needs a villain and he was on that since day one i knew i was gonna like him. i was lowkey rooting for him. the only reason ppl didnt like him was bc he spent money ?? like what brev … everyone spent except nife and leah. SPAMGATE was OD and we all know he was lying about it being the spam bc before the spam even happened he said he was going to run the money up so im pretty sure he used that so he wouldnt seem like a piss baby for crashing out about the voting. fanum - i watch amp/ fanum so i was hella shocked and excited when i saw him pop out . as an American who reg watches uk youtubers watching fanum try and figure out the slang is so funny. he started spamgate and almost crashed out as well. he handled it cool though i thought he was gonna be on some amp firework war type shit but unfortunately not. dysongate was lowk op nobody suspected a thing and when they found out everyone was like its you so we dont care LOL. i didnt want him to win nor did i think he would bc he has enough money nb was gonna let him have that tbh. he was top 3 in entertainment fr. i need a video w him ginge and specs ASAP! also specs n ginge in an amp video would go crazy!

chloe - ive heard of chloe but never watched any of her content. she was pretty entertaining i cant lie im pretty sure she was tipsy from the moment they but alcohol in the shop. like she ALWAYS had a glass of something. watching her get so mad during spamgate had me dead. i think it annoyed some ppl but honestly they shouldve REALLY fucked up his bed like opened the spam fr instead of all that arguing but thats just my messy ass tho ! I DIDNT expect to see her in the finale at all but watching specs then fanum go out i was like well it has to be chloe and rika bc i never thought that liv was gonna make it. i definitely thought she was going to steal from manrika at the end there though .
manrika - never heard of her. one thing about me is i always root for the villian of the show. so when i saw that everyone was hating on her for a joke that had already been discussed and squashed it was between her and castillo on the win for me. her whole thing w castillo calling her an ass lick makes sense bc she told joe shed rather he just tell her right then and there he had a problem rather than wait . thats why she asked him right there what he meant. i think she went od to KEEP on asking thats when i was like girl let it go please. other than that i really enjoyed her antics and was so glad when she won w chloe.
tldr: i liked inside even though it was rushed. challenges were lame and i liked all the contestants.

Disclaimer 3: Although this applies--in varying degrees to all Japanese Learners, the main demographic that I am deeply concerned for, are the entry-level to intermediate-level learners who are still figuring things out. With the proper time investment and erudition, it may start to become easier to understand exactly what is being said, but understanding a Translation of your Target Language should not have to be a separate "skill" that requires cultivation

• Section 1: Introduction

Typically, when you go on to a Dictionary to discover the meaning of a word, you will usually find example sentences that are worded like this:

風が柔らかく木立に触れた。
The wind gently kissed the trees.

or

私のフランスケーキ好きは小学校の時からです。
I've loved French cakes since elementary school.

These Translations certainly look pretty at first glance, but if you are an absolute beginner in learning Japanese and you encounter one of these sentences, you will have left them learning little about how the Japanese Language or its syntax actually works. They are well written and pleasant to look at, but are so heavily processed as to have lost any semblance of nutritional (i.e. educational) value

• Section 2: Disambiguation

Let's try going through these Example Sentences:
In this example, let's say that you searched for the word "柔らかい" in the Dictionary. For now, you have no idea what "木立" or "触れる" mean, but you are willing to learn.

風が柔らかく木立に触れた。
The wind gently kissed the trees.

This is probably the best one of the three (I have one that I'm saving for later)
Since I am no longer a complete beginner, I unfortunately cannot tell you how I would have tried to interpret this Sentence during my first month learning, but being a few months in, I could at least make a few inferences

風が

is establishing the Wind for the rest of the sentence. It is going to be important moving forward

柔らかく

conjugated form of an い-Adjective, going by the Translation. 柔らかい must mean "Gentle", and "く" allows it to modify other actions (therefore: "Gently")
I know that this sounds incredibly boring and redundant, but bear with me, this is going somewhere

木立に触れた
(Kissed the Trees)

This is where I'd say the first problem appears. Remember that for this exercise, you still have no idea what any of these words mean, and are just starting to learn "柔らかい", and, indirectly, "木立".
From what I could find, this figurative usage of the word "kiss" does not seem to exist in Japanese like it does it English. Perhaps 触れる is a literary term, which is why the word "Kiss" is being used in this translation, however the problem with trying to "embellish" these words without any context as to why they're being translated this way, is that in this case, the figurative and literal use of "Kiss" are both embodied in the same word. Imagine hearing this sentence in the wild, being given this translation, then--following the logic that they've established, saying to your Love Interest beneath the Moonlit Sky "触れてもいい？"...
Let's try another one:

私のフランスケーキ好きは小学校の時からです。
I've loved French cakes since elementary school.

This one's probably one of the simpler examples, and while I will admit that it becomes easier to understand the "logic" of the Translation with time, it almost feels like I'm reading two sentences that vaguely related, but aren't quite the same. The English version, in this case, feels like the long-lost Twin Brother of the original Japanese, and while it's certainly a good Translation, it looks like the type of thing you'd see in the English Captions of a Japanese Show, not like a resource that actually helps one to better understand the inner workings of the Language, itself. It is concerning, not for what it does do, but what it doesn't
The Translation is "correct", yes, but in prioritizing flavor over substance, the result is a fun confection that melts on the tongue, but provides nearly no nutritional value
For those particularly avid readers out there, you might recall that I mentioned the presence of three sentences. Yes, that's right, there was one card in my sleeve that I was saving 'til the end, and it is by far the most egregious of the three:

ママはその事については触れなかった。
Mom didn't mention it.

え？
How did that massive wall of Japanese Text produce this? I am not joking when I say that I have studied all of those words (to varying degrees), and still have virtually no idea what this sentence is saying.

• Section 3: The Problem

With all three of the aforementioned sentences being assessed, I would like to address the greatest fundamental issue that permeates, not only through these sentences, but nearly all of the example sentences in the common Dictionaries:

Who are these (Translations) even for?

I highly doubt that the your average casual English-Speaking Japanese Media watcher is diligently combing through the Dictionary on a daily basis, let alone your average English-Speaker in general (the same would also apply if Dictionaries that translate Japanese into other Languages follow these same patterns)
I will readily confess that all of these Translations are certainly poetic--beautiful, even, however, while they may explain what the Japanese is "saying", they do not explain what is actually happening, how it is, or why. They are certainly informational, but they are not educational, thus causing them to feel more like Anime Subtitles, than a means of actually coming to understand the Language.

• Section 4: Potential Solutions

I will take this opportunity to restate the thread that has been running through this entire thesis: I am not claiming to be an expert in Japanese. As someone who has only been studying for a few months, I am not claiming that my opinions are absolute, or that my interpretations are correct.
With that aside, here's how I would attempt to rework some of these Translations to better assist those trying to improve their Japanese:
Sentence 1

風が柔らかく木立に触れた。

Original

The wind gently kissed the trees.

Revision

Wind: Gently: (Cluster of) Trees, to: Touched (upon)
The wind gently kissed the trees.
Explanation: 触れる generally refers to a lighter, gentler touch compared to 触る, and can also be used figuratively, thus, in this context, it can be interpreted to be similar to the figurative usage of "to kiss"

Sentence 2

私のフランスケーキ好きは小学校の時からです。

Original

I've loved French cakes since elementary school.

Revision

My French Cake Love: Elementary School - Time: From
My love for French Cakes: Since Elementary School (i.e. I've loved French cakes since elementary school.) / My love for French Cakes goes back to Elementary School / I've loved French cakes since elementary school.
Explanation: In this sentence, the speaker's love for French Cakes is the subject. "の" subjugates B to A (Imagine Noun + の as a transparent Box, and what follows, being a related set of contents inside the Box), and 時 allows non-Time related words to be changed into moments or spans of time. In this example, "から" indicates progenitorship, thus "小学校の時から" means "From the Time of Elementary School".

^{you may have noticed that "My love for French Cakes: Since Elementary School" is not how English speakers typically talk (unless they are imitating a machine}) ^{, however this is not an Anime; Having a "natural translation"--either in the forefront or the background, is definitely a good idea, however, unlike with Subtitles, the English should serve the Japanese, not the other way around}
Sentence 3

ママはその事については触れなかった。

Original

Mom didn't mention it.

Revised

Mom...: That Matter (Concerning)...: Did not touch (upon)
Mom did not touch upon that matter (Mom didn't mention it.)
Explanation: "ママは" sets the scene for the topic, while "その事" is subsumed into the first subject (So keep "ママ" in your mind as you continue to learn about what is going on with "その事"). "について" in this case, means "concerning" or "regarding", and is transformed into a secondary topic through the use of another "は". "触れる" means "to touch" with the nuance of the touch being light, passing or brief, and can be used both literally and figuratively (in this case, meaning, "to touch upon" the matter).

With just those simple changes (i.e. including a "Fundamental Translation", and an Explanation segment to supplement the "standard" Translation), the Translations have now been modified to interact with the original Sentences, rather than overriding them.
Yes, translating "あらゆる犬、しゅきだよ！" as

"(Implicit Pronoun + は): All/Every Dog (+ Unspoken Particle): Liked (Slang, with よ added for emphasis in a manner that directly engages the interlocutor)"
All Dogs, liked
I wuw all Dogs!

doesn't sound as mellifluous as

"I wuw ALL dogs, yo!"

by itself*
But we are not using Japanese Dictionaries to have our eyes and ears tickled, we are using them to Learn Japanese
Not only do the revisions preserve either exact copies, or moderate revisions to the "anglicized" translations, but they also manage to solve the big three aforementioned questions of "What", "How", and "Why".

• Section 5: Pieces on the Board

Going back to Sentence 2 for a moment:

私のフランスケーキ好きは小学校の時からです。
I've loved French cakes since elementary school.

If you're an entry-level Japanese Learner with only a few trusty words in your quiver, and you see this daunting wall of Japanese Text, juxtaposed against an equally ambiguous English Translation that's your sole, dim light in this expansive labyrinth of darkness: Depending on the word that you searched up to get you there, it could take you months before you're able to actually begin to understand sentences like these.
Meanwhile, if all of the components are already laid out before you, you're immediately able to begin "playing" with the pieces, and accelerate the process of acquisition.
For instance, if I purchased a French Cake for a Party, and someone asked me:

"フランスケーキ（が）好きですか。"

could I then, with my new knowledge, reply:

"(実は)小学校の時から好き(です)！"

???
Perhaps I could trim even more and simply respond:

"小学校の時からです！"

since the "フランスケーキ", and "好き" "pieces" have already been laid out on the "board"??? ^{(In this case, I'm genuinely asking; I could very well be wrong})

• Section 6: Benefits to the Fundamental Translation Method

I will take this moment to iterate that the ideal solution would be to have both the Fundamental Translations, and "Traditional" Translations, as they are both complimentary to each other. On its own, a "Fundamental" Translation may be too abstract, while the Traditional ones tend to be processed beyond the point of recognizability. Blending them together allows for one to absorb as much Japanese as possible, while also having being able to see a tangible Translation as a safety net
With that said, there are various benefits to adding these Fundamental Translations

• Dissolves the walls of Japanese Text into smaller, comprehensible pieces
  
• Explains not only what the Japanese is saying, but how they are saying it. For example, one could theoretically translate "日本語喋れますか" as "Do you speak Japanese?", but doing so removes the nuance that what is actually being asked, which is "If you can speak Japanese". The conclusions are similar, but the method of getting there is slightly different.
  
• Rendering the Japanese into English at all, helps the Second Language to become comprehensible, however the utilization of these formulaic and unnatural syntax could potentially force one to draw new conclusions regarding the information that were not present in their Native Language, helping the aspiring learner to begin viewing Japanese on its own terms, and hopefully, acquiring it.
  

In addition to those aforementioned points: dissolving the Sentences gives one a starting point to begin building their own sentences.
For instance, with the principles established from dissolving Sentence 1
For a refresher:

風が柔らかく木立に触れた。

I am now able to begin switching the pieces around and experimenting with "new" sentences, such as

Disclaimer: I am not claiming that these sentences are grammatically natural or even "correct". Please let me know what errors are present, so I can improve them. The point is to illustrate how a beginner could start to experiment, once they understand the mechanics of a sentence, not to make a statement on my own particular Japanese level
It is still your prototypical "Subject + Adverb + Object + Action" (or SOV) sentence, but now that the actual alignment of the sentence's components have been made clear, the writing process goes from being an insurmountable hurdle that takes months to even attempt, to being immediately accessible.

• Section 7: Using Fundamental Translations to compose Japanese

For reference, this is one of the first sentences that I tried composing during my first Month of learning Japanese

日本語を大好きけど漢字が楽しい無いと思う

Aside from the fact that there are blatant grammatical errors that even a beginner such as myself can now see: As one of the individuals who critiqued my sentence acutely stated, I was simply "Speaking Japanese with English Syntax" What I had intended to say: "Although I love Japanese, Kanji is not fun" would probably make for a nifty example Translation, however when you try working backwards (as a beginner), and rendering it into Japanese, the result is an incomprehensible mess
If I were to impersonate my Month 1 self for a moment, and attempt to render the Translation for Sentence 1 back into Japanese without seeing the original text, I probably would have come up with something along the lines of:

風が木達を柔らかいキスした
(Please forgive me for this abomination!)

Granted, some of the simulated mistakes simply come down to my own terrible Japanese, however I would honestly not blame someone who was only armed with years of Anime, and a few Videos, for making a similar set of miscalculations during their initial periods of study.
Going back to my aforementioned sentence: At my current level, I would likely attempt to render it as:

日本語が大好きだけど漢字は。。。(ちょっと難しいな？)
Japanese (Subject); Liked (However); Kanji... (with the unspoken implication that Kanji is not regarded with the same warmth)
I like Japanese, but Kanji...

If the unspoken part was rendered aloud, I would likely interpret it as

日本語が大好きだけど漢字はちょっと難しいな？
Japanese (Subject); Liked (However); Kanji: Somewhat + Difficult (with な being used to make to turn the statement in a matter of rumination that engages the Listener, in such a manner as to suggest that Kanji is an aspect of the Language that is disliked)
I like Japanese, but Kanji is pretty difficult, eh?

For my final sentence (and another Month 1 excerpt), I incorrectly wrote:

実は人間に変身前に余は天使だった

in an attempt to say:

In truth, before being changed into a Human, I used to be an Angel

Thankfully, someone was kind enough to try salvaging my terrible Japanese, and produced:

実は人間に変身する前に余は天使だった
In truth, before transforming into a Human, I was an Angel

Even still, though there's a discrepancy between what was initially intended, and what could be salvaged by combing through my clutter
If we were to assume that someone knew all of the requisite Vocabulary, however, and was given the Fundamental Translation as a guide for what was intended for the Japanese, perhaps one could turn:

[Truth (Subject)]: [Mortal (into)] + [Transform (Passive Present Verb)] + [Before (with に to subjugate the following portion of the sentence to the concept of "Before")]: [Pronoun suggesting one's status as a supernatural being of a higher order (Subject)]: Angel (Literary Past Tense form of "だ", used to fix something's place in a sentence as "being")

One could hopefully begin to "insert" the Japanese into the English spaces--like a Puzzle, and create something along the lines of:

実は人間に変身される前に我は天使であった
Truth: Human/Mortal, before I was changed/transformed into: Angel, was.
In truth, before I was transformed into a Human, I used to be an Angel

Disclaimer: I am not claiming that this sentence is necessarily correct, however, hopefully, I was able to demonstrate how synthesizing Natural Japanese with a Fundamental-Based Interpretation System can at least help one to construct something better than what I was writing on Month 1

• Section 8: Conclusion

One of the most prevalent issues that can be seen across many Learners of all levels in Japanese, is that, even if one's Vocabulary manages to reach astronomical levels, they may still have difficulty actually producing anything in Japanese. There have even been many cases of rather high-level learners who could tear through a Manga or translate something into English rather quickly, but still openly confess to struggling with their output into Japanese, and I believe that the current manner that Dictionaries and Textbooks are formatted, is responsible for this
The current state of English Translations are optimized to be convenient, however convenience is a privilege.
Perhaps if one is studying a Target Language that resides in a similar Language Family, one can afford to adapt the Translations to the Learner's "ear", however, one cannot afford to take these same liberties when the Languages are as distant as English and Japanese

• Since English and Japanese are irretrievably difference on a fundamental level, a good educational Translation should not prioritize appearing "natural"
  
• Yes, "English is a SVO Language, and Japanese is SOV", however it is not enough to just say it, then go on producing Translations as though it is not true. Not only are Japanese Sentences constructed differently, but the terminology, conjugations, expressions, cultural nuances, and implications are all distinct from those of the Anglosphere
  
• Rather than trying to interpret Japanese through the lens of one's Native Language, the Native Language should merely be used as a visual aid to help us understand the Japanese
  
• This means that the first priority with an Educational Translation should be to state what is literally happening, and why, and only after this, should it use an adapted English-centric Sentence to help solidify the enumerated concepts into the Learner's mind.
  
• Since English and Japanese have no "natural" connection, the "proper" manner of creating an Educational Translation should be [Natural Japanese -> Unnatural English], because [Unnatural English] (i.e. when handled correctly) = [Natural Japanese]
  
• If you attempt to translate [Natural Japanese -> Natural English] you usually end up with "Anime Subtitles" that communicate the "point", but are so heavily processed, as to be completely stripped of their educational substance or nuance.
  
• Likewise, if your only input is [Natural Japanese -> Natural English], this is how many learners end up with an output of [Natural English -> Unnatural Japanese]. My experience is comparatively limited on this one, but from what I have observed, this seems to be the cause of the infamous "Textbook" Japanese, which overuses Pronouns, Particles, "です", specifically, and leads to one producing sentences like "このリンゴは赤いだ" (日本語上手ですね！)
  
• I do not think that Fundamental English Translations should replace the adapted ones, but they should be included alongside them to help one better understand the Japanese
  
• To see how the Fundamental Approach works on one's own Native Language: Take this sentence
  

"The Weather is humid today".

You could also dissolve this English Sentence following the same principles

[The Weather (Establishes the subject; Since "The" is used, "Weather" is being referred to in a general sense, with no emphasis toward the particular Weather--as would be signified by "this")]: [is (indicates that the condition still applies) + Humid (the condition, itself)] + [Today (indicating the position that this sentence is occurring, which happen to be in a temporal one, namely, the current Day)]

and shuffle the pieces to create:

Today, the Weather is humid
[Today (establishes the position, which shapes the rest of the sentence)]: [The Weather (Subject, being referred to generally, rather than particularly)]: [is (indicates that the condition still applies) Humid (the condition, itself)]

Which, at least to my ears, carries a more literary flair
or you could substitute some pieces to say

The Weather was humid Yesterday

Which follows the same (Subject) + (Condition) + (Position) Pattern

• Following this logic, one could argue that Fundamental Translations for Japanese are merely Fundamental Japanese being expressed through the medium of one's Native Language, as it makes the otherwise unknown Target Language easier to visualize and experiment with.
  
• In this way, even without fully understanding the Source Code of one's Target Language, they are nonetheless able to "hack" it, by using their Native Language as a remote controller.
  

As far as implementation goes, unless there are legal prohibitions that prevent Dictionaries from modifying their example sentences, the best method (at least for Online Dictionaries) would be to introduce an expandable "Tab" next to some of the given Sentences that provides the Fundamental Translation, and the logic behind it (or some variant of this)
Because, once again "Informational" does not mean "Educational", and unlike Subtitles, the purpose of these Translations is not Entertain, but to Educate.

TL DR: boyfriend decided to get stupid close to a strainer on a relatively calm but fast river. He capsized and nearly drowned but I was able to save him. WEAR YOUR FUCKING PFD.
This incident involved my boyfriend and I on a commercial kayak float a little over a month ago. We kayak frequently on flat lakes so this was the first time kayaking on a river. I have gone rafting on whitewater rivers a handful of times and was aware of strainers, but I misunderstood that they are just as dangerous on calmer rivers too.
This was through a rental company near Eureka Springs. It was my boyfriend, I, and my parents. We are mid 20s and parents are mid 50s. Our guide takes us to the put in, and says okay see yall in a couple hours at the take out. No safety briefing but I did not think much of that since this was a calm flat portion of the river.
We launch and go on our way. It was sunny but kind of chilly, and the water was very cold and moving at a good pace. Because of the fast current, we did not have to paddle much, which we all liked. Very relaxing! The water was deep, maybe 8-10 feet on some spots and you could see right down to the bottom. Fish and everything!
Maybe 25 minutes in, the water got darker and you couldn’t see the bottom. Dumb mistake number one was us taking our PFDs off and shoving them to the bow of the kayaks. I remember thinking if anything happened it could be grabbed quickly. Nope. Just wear the damn thing.
My parents were a ways ahead of boyfriend and I. He is floating to my left and is about 20-30 feet from me. Up ahead on river left I see a decent sized downed tree parallel to the shore about 8 feet from the shore. There was fast moving churning water all around it. My boyfriend calls out that we wants to ride through that. I call out not to, just give it a wide berth.
For a second it looked like he heeded my warning, but then suddenly he was right at the thing. Not wearing his PFD. I see him try to paddle away but the current pushed him right in. His kayak immediately flips and he comes out. The kayak is between him and the strainer and in retrospect I thank whatever God was watching that day for this. I think it would have been worse if he was between the kayak and tree.
I yell at him to swim away from it as I paddle towards him with every muscle in my body. He tried to climb into the sinking kayak. It flips over on him again. He goes under for what felt like far too long but comes up. He tried to grab a branch on the tree over the water and the current suddenly pushes him away from it. At this point I am on him, I toss him my life jacket to him since his was gone. I can see the cold and exhaustion setting in, and all he can mutter is “cold, hard to move”. He also mentions something being “stuck”.
With what must have been adrenaline, I grab him by the arm and pull him away from the tree and churning water. All 5’2 130lbs of me suddenly had this hulk strength. I tell him I have you, I won’t let go, I’m going to get us to the river bank. My heart is pounding out of my chest. It was so hard to hold him while paddling but thank god I was able to. I’m trying hard not to tip us both over.
The current is pushing us away from the strainer somehow. He is now clinging to the side of my boat in deep water. He’s shaking and looks exhausted. I can see fear. I was very afraid too but trying to be the strong one.
His kayak is far ahead of us and as it goes past my dad, he grabs it. Dad said it was sinking by the bow. He used his belt loop to “tow” it and he and my mom reach shore at a boat ramp. I could not see them as they were around the next bend in the river.
We come up on a tree that had fallen over but was mostly out of water. Next to it is the shore. I drag boyfriend over here and yell at him to get on land now. Now he is on land and can catch his breath. Thankfully he held his breath when we went under and didn’t swallow water. Just shaken up and exhausted. I rest my kayak on the bank so I can figure out a plan.
During the capsize, his shoes had come off and disappeared, his paddle, kayak, and PFD were gone too. He did not bring his phone and I have no signal on mine. Here we are stranded on a river bank in the middle of no where, no signal and one kayak. I couldn’t communicate with my parents that we were relatively okay.
He tells me when he went under, he felt the kayak be pulled right from him. Said he felt his foot catch on a submerged branch and it took a lot of strength to yank it free. He is all scratched up. He said he reached under to grab the PFD but it was all tangled in the tree. At this point he looked up and I was reaching down for him.
From where we are now to to boat ramp was calm flat water and I couldn’t see any big hazards. I was in a big kayak with a lot of room and he is a skinny guy, so I suggest he sit in my boat between my legs to get to the ramp. He says that’s a good way to tip. He was right, but I told him we have to try. If we tip here we are in only a foot or two of water. My other option was leave him and come back with help.
We decide to try riding tandem and thank fuck it worked. I was able to move him maybe three quarters of a mile to the bank where everyone and his undamaged (thankfully) kayak was waiting. We stay there for a bit to gather our wits. We ended up all getting back in our boats and had an uneventful rest of the float.
The rest of the trip I felt very disturbed and out of body. I never shed a tear to try and look strong. To be honest, I thought I was going to watch my love get sucked under and drown. I don’t know what gave me the mental clarity and pure strength to save him.
Here is where I am struggling. A few weeks after our near miss, a woman was killed the same way by a strainer in Arkansas. Calm section of the river but got too close without her PFD and drowned. I didn’t start having nightmares and panic until I read about her accident. I guess it showed me how fucking close he got to dying. Why did he get free and she didn’t? Why was I able to save him alone but her friends were unable? The shock and trauma and loss. I keep replaying these images in my head.
My boyfriend and I have talked deeply about everything and I know he learned his lesson. I thank the universe I didn’t have to make that call to search and rescue.
Moral of my story is wear that god damn life jacket, and stay FAR away from strainers. I don’t care how mild that water looks near it or how strong you think you are. Nature does not care.
I don’t know if I’ll want to kayak a river again, at least not for awhile. Please be kind in the comments but I would love some advice from more experienced people. I understand I put my life in danger to save him. I’m thankful we are both here to tell the story. Thank you for reading, I really needed to get this off my chest.
