Something I like and dislike about every Zombies game

2024.06.09 12:42 WwwWario Something I like and dislike about every Zombies game

Big fan of all of Zombies. Here's a quick list of one like and dislike from (almost) all of 'em, except for the "spin-offs" like the DS game, as well as MW3, as I haven't played them. I will also try to not include any points of them introducing a new core feature or being inventive as a positive, but rather look at the games on their own.
WAW: POSITIVE: Atmosphere is almost unmatched in the horror category, where the tone is perfect for a "simple, dark story but with something sinister and deep hiding underneath". NEGATIVE: Simply the lack of polish. Bugs are present, Zombies collision isn't great, etc.
BO1: POSITIVE: Extremely great tone of the story. Here, the story present is (imo) the PERFECT blend of groundedness and mystery. Secret experiments, visual storytelling, and hints towards deeper secrets are all present without overdoing it or shoving it in our faces. NEGATIVE: BO1 has probably the overall weakest weapons in the series, damage wise, making weapons quickly drop off in usefulness and forcing you to earlier use of traps and wonder weapons alone
BO2: POSITIVE: Incredible variety in gameplay. You have everything from the open Tranzit, to Mob of the Dead and its incredible story-driven gameplay, to Buried being one of the biggest sandboxes we've ever seen, and more. It also has Grief and Turned, and has an amazing variety in weapons. Variety is BO2's strength imo NEGATIVE: Honestly, missed potential. Tranzit could have been so, so much more. Grief could have been greatly expanded, and so could Turned. We could have gotten more survival maps. The list goes on
BO3: POSITIVE: The overall strongest maps in the entire franchise, imo. The maps are colorful, extremely varied, PACKED with content and side quests and map-specific weapons, beautiful cutscenes, and more. NEGATIVE: Imo, BO3 has the overall worst weapons in the series. Not in terms of power, but in terms of how fun they are to use. So many of the base weapons feel like plastic, and feel way too similar to each other. Weapons like the VMP sounds like it's on mute when you fire it. It did get better with DLC maps, however.
AW: POSITIVE: Movement and the chaos. High rounds in AW Zombies feel chaotic and where you're always on your toes. It's hectic and surprisingly fun. NEGATIVE: All maps feel very samey. Atlas, all of it. The maps don't really stand out from each other at all.
IW: POSITIVE: The care and passion clearly being put in. You can see it in the amount of content each map has and their variety. It's clearly this was made with a lot of passion. NEGATIVE: The story. Even if it's supposed to be goofy and Scooby-Doo-like, I don't think it really nails it still. The characters imo are uninteresting, and the story doesn't seem to know if it wants to be taken seriously or not.
WW2: POSITIVE: Easily the unique PaP effects. Almost every gun does something unique when PaP'd instead of just becoming stronger, which is a MASSIVE positive, and makes almost all weapons exciting to use. NEGATIVE: Honestly... Strange game design choices. Such as how the PaP in Shadowed Throne cannot even be opened without explosives, making you almost stuck if you choose a Throwing Knife as your grenade. There are many of these design choices all around the game.
BO4: POSITIVE: Similar to BO3, this game has amazing variety in maps and gameplay. Everything from Blood of the Dead (which may just be the most content-packed map in the entire franchise) to the more simple Alpha Omega or Classified, we have TONS of variety in tone, difficulty, complexity, and even characters. NEGATIVE: The game taking water over its head. BO4 was a strange game. Factions were promised but never implemented. They tried to introduce a new story alongside wrapping up the famous Aether story. The budget was cut massively on the last two maps. You spawn with special weapons instead of earning them in-game. Overall just a "messy" feeling for an otherwise amazing Zombies game.
BOCW: POSITIVE: Easily the best movement and core mechanics we've ever seen. Moving around feels like a breeze, and the system of salvage, weapon rarity, support streaks, crafting table, and more all flow together perfectly. It gives you more to work towards than ever before, it gives points much more of a purpose than ever, the feeling of progress is better than ever, and it all works wonders together. NEGATIVE: The sheer lack of personality. If you compare CW's maps to BO1-4, it's a night and day difference. Going from something like Der Eisendrache and Blood of the Dead with rich atmospheres, characterse and features, to CW's maps is staggering. CW's maps are bland, lack personality, and have almost no unique side quests to grant unique features like previous maps do.

2024.06.09 12:28 BambuLabA1Mini PET Filament Attempt 1 :) A1 Mini

PET Filament Attempt 1 :) A1 Mini
I have successfully created the Petamentor Machine to create filament from PET Plastic bottles, i use a cutter made with 2 bearings to slice the bottle into a strip that i then put through a 205 Celcius nozzle and onto a spool with a motor.
Making the filament went Okay, but when it came to printing, it seemed like the filament wasnt being gripped well by the printer, the filament i made was only 1.5-1.6mm so i will need to try to make it thicker.
I will try to cut the strip a little wider so i can get it a little more round and probably a bit bigger, i managed to get some filament out but it the extrusion was too little since it couldnt grip it ( flow rate was upped to 1.3 before printing )

2024.06.09 11:25 Salty_Desk9907 How to handle spontaneity, space when travelling together, and is it okay to just chill?

Read the book 10 times. However, I've come across 2 things in dating which are a bit more advanced, and I'm not too sure about. I'd really appreciate any insights you guys have.
Just went on a 2 night, 3 day trip with a girl, which she proposed (currently seeying her 2-3 times per week). Couldn't meet her the night before the trip to go together because I had another date, so I met her out in the morning and we had breakfast together. We then went to the train station and went to another city for the trip.
The first day was amazing, non-stop talking, her doing 80-90% of it. We went to a museum when we arrived and the vibe was so flirty, with her chasing to kiss me, that we ended going to the museum bathroom...
We then went to check into the hotel, which was 2 hours later since we were walking around, with her holding my hand, putting her head on my shoulder and kissing. When we arrived to the hotel, smoothly went into another round of indoor olympics. Then I took her out to dinner. Everything up to this point, I'd planned and made reservations for. During dinner, she commented that I seemed quiet, which I took as "you're not making me talk, I want to talk more", hahaha. I think I was tired, I don't know, but once my drink kicked in, the conversation re-started. We went back to the hotel, and she said she had a surprise, she went to the bathroom and came out just wearing some launderay she'd just bought. Never before had she worn anything beyond the classic bra and panties lace launderay. Indoor olympics ensued but she asked to stop during the foreplay because eventhough she was very wet, and seconds before, begging, she was still sore from before. She said she still wanted to make me happy so she helped me finish.
The next morning, we had to check out, we were in bed laughing, but it seemed she wasn't very responsive to escalations, so I just assumed she was still sore from the night before. We went out for breakfast, this I hadn't planned. I said to go into a café that we walked past and she said that "being in the city that we are, we can definately do better than that". I agreed, because it was true. She started proposing something, and this is were I fucked up. I just told her to relax and that I'd take care of it. I looked up something on google, and we took transport to get there. After that she seemed off, I figured she was shut down, but I didn't open her up. When we got to the café she was a bit bitchy, saying things like "this doesn't look as good as the other one", etc... We ordered and after some conversation and some laughter she just came out and said this: "I am in a better mood now, before I was upset and almost cried. I know some girls like the feeling of just being able to turn their brain off, and I do to, but this is my trip to, and there were so much nicer and special bakeries that I know of, and if you'd just let me tell you we could have gone to one of them. Like I'm not going to think, oh, he hasn't looked and researched all of the best cafés and bakeries in this new city, that's bad. Like sometimes it's good to just not have a plan. I've been single for so long, that I've just become used to getting and doing exactly what I want, which I guess is something that I just need to get used to, and learn how to compromise." HOW DO YOU BALANCE PLANNING DATES VS GOING WITH THE FLOW AND BEING SPONTANEOUS? Because, I'm very spontaneous, with my friends we rarely plan things, we just do whatever we feel like and we come up with stuff on the go. However I've found that, eventhough she may say she wants that, when I have done that, inevitably stuff goes wrong, and then it seems to me she steps into this more reserved persona, were she almost feels unsafe when stuff goes wrong, she lets me handle things, but still kind of shuts down emotionally... maybe I just need to re-assure her more?
Then she said the following: "I've spent a lot of time alone, and when I do so, I can do whatever I want. I've also found that when my social battery runs out, I just want to be alone, or do an activity that I want, like reading my book. This even happens when we spend a lot of time together. I love spending time with you, but I just want to relax or be alone sometimes. I really like just relaxing next to you, like I would like to read my book with you in bed next to me. I also sometimes just want to pop in and say hi during the day and then go do my own thing like go on a run, etc..." So, she's helping me out like crazy here... [she's done the thing before of wanting to drop by and bring me some food during the day. I let her, gave her some love and some indoor olympics, and she left all happy afterwards]. For the rest of the day, we had fun, and good conversation, holding hands, kissing, etc... She still gave me compliments, but, at some point the conversation slowed down considerably, to a stop for some time, and we were just enjoying the sights together. It's not a lack of things to talk about, but like during the dinner, I didn't feel like talking much and wanted to enjoy her company, and just relax. We were tired that night but we hooked up in the morning. She said sometimes she just wants to relax and read a book, and would love if that was in my company. I feel the same way, sometimes I just want to cuddle, relax, read a book, and not say much, just enjoy each other's presence. I typically get this feeling if we hang-out for more than 1.5 days with no intermission. CW says that what I feel and she feels like doing, is hanging out as roomates and not as lovers. TO WHAT EXTENT, AND UNDER WHAT CICUMSTANCES, IS IT OKAY TO DO THINGS LIKE READING A BOOK, WALKING/CUDDLING, IN PRETTY MUCH SILENCE, YET NEXT TO EACH OTHER? IS THIS TOO PLATONIC, EVENTHOUGH WE HANGED OUT EXTENSIVELY FOR 2 DAYS, AND HOOKED UP NUMEROUS TIMES? IS IT JUST THAT THE KITTY-CAT AND MYSELF ARE BORED AND WE SHOULD JUST GO DO OUR OWN THINGS WHEN I DETECT THAT, OR IS IT OKAY TO TAKE THAT BREAK FROM EACH OTHER WITH EACH OTHER? THERE'S NO SPACE, EVEN WHEN YOU'RE LIVING WITH YOUR PARTNER, THERE'S SPACE BECAUSE YOU GO TO WORK, A RUN, GYM, ERRANDS, ETC..., BUT IF YOU GO TRAVELLING TOGETHER, HOW DO YOU HANDLE THAT?

Hey, I'm thinking of building a pond roughly 500-800 litres, and I'm wondering what fish can handle the outdoor temperatures year-round. I'm going to use one of those poly thick plastic ponds and dig it in, if anyone knows any places to get them in Sydney and what fish I can stock the pond with

The Forzacx Floating Shoe Display Shelf with Lights Set of 5 has been a game-changer in my shoe organization journey. The glow color-changing aspect is quite the conversation starter in my household, adding an interesting twist to a typical shoe rack.
The sturdy levitating shoe wall shelf truly displays my top shoes proudly, making them stand out as part of my personal style statement. While some might find it overwhelming, I personally love the visual effect it creates.
The only downside I've noticed is that the lights tend to dim over time, but the fact that it comes with a set of 5 makes this an enjoyable and unique addition to any shoe lover's life.

I recently got my hands on the Floating Shoe Display for my home space. I must say, it was a fun experience setting it up - a great conversation starter. The wall mount installation made it a breeze to set up, and the floating shelves gave my room a sleek and modern look. One of the highlights was the wide-shaped design that made more room for my kicks, and the highly transparent clear acrylic display created the perfect floating effect.
However, there was one downside, it could only hold most types of sneakers, and the. 16-inch thickness made it a bit too fragile for my liking. But overall, the Floating Shoe Display made a great addition to my space and kept my collection organized and on display. So if you're looking for a unique way to showcase your favorite pairs, this floating shoe display could be the perfect match for you.

As a shoe enthusiast, I always find myself looking for innovative and stylish solutions to manage my growing collection. So, when I found this PeachyModern wall-mounted shoe rack, I couldn't resist giving it a try.
This modern, wooden shoe rack perfectly fits my narrow entryway, saving floor space and adding a touch of elegance with its sleek, slim design. I appreciate how it's so lightweight and easy to install, making it an ideal choice for those who aren't handy with tools.
The shoe rack has enough space to accommodate various types of footwear, ranging from high heels to sneakers. Moreover, I especially like how it can fit even wider boots, keeping them in shape and looking neat. One downside though is that it's only suitable for 2 pairs of shoes, but that's minor considering the space it saves.
Incorporating this shoe rack into my home has significantly improved the functionality and aesthetic appeal of my entryway. It's like having a bit of Scandinavian minimalism in my house, and I'm glad I made the purchase. If you're in the market for a modern, compact, and versatile shoe storage solution, this one could just be the peachy solution you're looking for.

I recently got my hands on the IEEK Floating Shoe Display, a unique and space-saving solution for showcasing my shoe collection. As a proud sneaker enthusiast, I was thrilled to set up this clear acrylic shelf on my wall. The shelf measures 8 x 3 x 2 inches and it can hold most regular size shoes, making it perfect for both casual and designer sneakers.
What stood out to me the most was the floating effect these shelves create. The transparent color allows the entire shoe to be visible, showcasing its details from every angle. However, I noticed that only the bottom of the shoe is supported, so it may not be the best option for shoes with thick bottoms. Nevertheless, it's a great conversation starter and a fantastic way to save space in my living room.
The installation process was a breeze - just drill a hole and screw in the provided hardware. I've set up these shelves in my living room but they could also work well in bedrooms, playrooms, dorm rooms, or even hallways. If you're looking for a fun and functional way to display your sneakers while saving space, I would definitely recommend giving the IEEK Floating Shoe Display a try.

🔗Stylish Cozyside Floating Shoe Display Wall Rack

I recently came across the Cozyside Floating Shoe Display Stand, and I must say, it's a game-changer for showcasing your shoe collection. The sleek, modern design adds a stylish touch to any room, making it a great alternative to traditional shoe racks or display cases.
There's something about the clear, floating shelves that draws your eye and highlights the unique design of each pair of shoes. However, it's not all smooth sailing - the installation process requires a bit more effort than expected, which can be a bit of a letdown.
Despite this minor inconvenience, the high-quality craftsmanship and the ability to display six pairs of shoes is well worth the time spent assembling it. I've been using it in my room, and it truly adds a touch of personality to the space. Overall, I highly recommend the Cozyside Floating Shoe Display Stand for anyone looking to add a bit of flair to their shoe collection.

🔗Dazzling Wall-Mounted Floating Shoe Shelf

During the past few weeks, I've been using the STAHMFOVER 6-Pack Large Rainbow Acrylic Floating Shoe Shelves. To be honest, my living room was starting to resemble a shoe shop! But these acrylic racks have saved the day, letting me transform the space by adding some color and displaying my favorite pairs.
One of the first things I noticed was how easy they were to install. The whole process took just about half an hour. The installation instructions were straightforward and the screws and nails helped get the job done in no time. I'm quite happy about that, as it takes just a small portion of my day to organize and showcase my favorite footwear.
What I've particularly enjoyed about these floating shoe racks is the ability to easily switch up their arrangement. The shelves have two pre-drilled holes, so you can adjust them to your liking. I must confess, it gave me a sense of satisfaction to see my shoes arranged in the best possible way.
However, I have found a downside as well. They're not the greatest for heavy shoes. I had to remove a pair as they were exceeding the 6-pound limit. I believe this is a minor detail, but it's important to know beforehand.
Despite this limitation, the STAHMFOVER Floating Shoe Shelves have become an essential part of my daily routine. Not only did they help me declutter my living room, but they also allowed me to showcase my shoes in a fun and creative way. Highly recommended for those looking to keep their space organized and looking for a touch of color!

As a shoe enthusiast, I am always on the lookout for unique and innovative ways to display my collection. The Floating Shoe Display Wall Mount promised to be a game-changer in my room decoration.
Upon setting it up, the wide-shaped design immediately caught my eye. It made more room for my sneakers and showcased them perfectly. The floating effect offered by this display shelf couldn't be more impressive, thanks to the highly transparent clear acrylic material. It made my shoes seem to 'float' in mid-air, which added a touch of elegance to my room.
The 0.16" thick floating shoe display shelf was sturdy enough to hold most types of sneakers, while being unobtrusive. The platform size was just enough to accommodate sneakers up to size 14, making it a versatile option.
The installation process was a breeze. The included hardware made mounting on the wall a straightforward task. But the real icing on the cake was the impeccable packaging; each shelf was carefully wrapped and protected, ensuring its transparency and floating effect went unmarred.
However, one minor downside was the lack of a detailed installation guide. It could have been helpful for beginners, but other than that, this Floating Shoe Display Wall Mount exceeded my expectations. It's not just a shelf, but a statement piece for any shoe lover's room.

I recently had the chance to try out the Forzacx Floating Shoe Display Shelf with Lights. After unboxing, I was impressed by the sleek design of the shelf. It was easy to assemble and mount on the wall.
The glowing color-changing feature was definitely a highlight, adding a unique touch to displaying my shoes. However, the sturdiness could have been better as I noticed slight wobbling when displaying heavier shoes.
Overall, the stylish and functional display made my top shoes more appealing, but could use some improvements in stability.

🔗Floating Shoe Rack for Displaying Unique Collections

As a shoe enthusiast, I was thrilled to try this floating shoe display shelf. It's the perfect way to showcase my collection in a unique and stylish manner. The acrylic material provides a crystal clear view of my shoes, while also giving them a distinct "hovering" effect.
Setting it up was a breeze, thanks to the pre-drilled holes and provided adhesives. The one-piece molding ensures sturdiness, and the shelf can easily be used to display other items too. However, be prepared to wait 24 hours after installing for the best results, and make sure to remove the protective film for full transparency.

I recently had the opportunity to try out the X-FLOAT Clear Floating Sneaker Shelves. Let me tell you, it was quite a sight to behold! Each shelf can hold two shoes and fit US Men's size 6-13. What really stood out, aside from the clear acrylic shelf, was the floating effect, where the front of the shelf is hidden underneath, giving the shoes a seemingly weightless appearance.
The sturdy 1/4 inch clear acrylic construction does its job, but I have a small concern about the support for larger shoe sizes. Additionally, the included hardware could have been more organized during packaging to ensure a smoother installation experience.
Overall, the X-FLOAT Clear Floating Sneaker Shelves are a great addition to any shoe enthusiast's collection, providing both a unique display and easy storage solution.

🔗Elegant Floating Shoe Shelves for Shoe Display

The STAHMFOVER 6-Pack Floating Shoe Shelves have brought an exciting twist to my shoe display. The clear floating shelves create the illusion of levitation, a feature I've never experienced before. What sets these shelves apart is their design. They sit flush against the wall, seamlessly blending with the shoes on display. This not only adds an aesthetic appeal but also ensures a stable foundation for the displayed shoes.
Each shelf has the capacity to hold two shoes, catering to all shoe sizes up to 14. This flexibility allows me to customize the display, showing off my collection in the best light possible. The installation process was simple, with the shelves coming equipped with all necessary hardware. The pre-drilled holes and included drywall anchors made the job a breeze, protecting the wall and reducing damage.
A significant highlight of these floating shoe shelves is their durability. The 1/4-inch thick acrylic material is sturdy and can easily carry up to 6 pounds of weight. I've come to rely on these shelves for showcasing my beloved sneakers, and I've been quite satisfied with the results. However, one drawback I've noticed is that the shelves are slightly prone to fingerprints. A quick wipe with a cloth usually solves the issue, but it's something worth mentioning. Overall, these clear floating shoe shelves are an excellent addition to any shoe lover's collection.

🔗Elevated Floating Shoe Display Set for 5 Pairs

Forzacx Floating Shoe Display Set of 5 is an innovative product that has transformed the way I store my sneakers at home. The acrylic shelves effortlessly hold my shoes in the air, making them easily visible and accessible. The sturdy construction ensures that the display set remains stable, even when fully loaded with my collection.
Installing the Forzacx set was a breeze, and the included instructions made the process straightforward. I appreciate the ease of use, as it has saved me time in organizing my shoes and kept my space neat and tidy.
One of the best features of this product is its versatility. I've placed the Forzacx Floating Shoe Display Set of 5 in various areas of my home, including bedrooms and hallways, and it has significantly improved the aesthetic of these spaces. It not only serves as a functional storage solution but also adds a touch of elegance to my decor.
However, I have noticed that the acrylic shelves may require occasional dusting to maintain their transparency and appearance. Additionally, the product's weight capacity might be a concern for those with larger collections, as the weight of the displayed shoes could cause the shelves to sag if not supported properly.
Overall, the Forzacx Floating Shoe Display Set of 5 is a practical and attractive solution to showcase and organize sneakers in your living space. Its ease of installation, versatility, and sturdy construction make it a worthwhile investment for those seeking a stylish and functional storage solution.

As a mom, I'm always on the lookout for organizational solutions for my growing collection of sneakers. When I stumbled upon STAHMFOVER's floating shoe shelves, I knew they were exactly what I needed. Not only did they have space for six pairs of shoes, but they also offered a floating effect that made my shoes look like they were defying gravity.
The installation process was a breeze, and the clear material allowed me to easily spot my favorite sneakers. However, I did notice that the product's structural integrity wasn't the sturdiest—my kids would sometimes bump into the shelves, causing them to sway precariously. Overall, these floating shoe shelves provided a unique and functional way to organize my sneakers, but their durability could have been better.

I recently tried the mDesign Metal Shoe Display & Storage Rack, and I was impressed with the smart design that keeps your shoes neatly organized. Each two-tier shelf holds a pair of shoes in place, and the slanted design ensures they won't slide off.
The open construction makes it easy to grab the shoes you need, and it's perfect for most shoe styles. However, I encountered an issue with a broken product, so I had to wait for a replacement.
Overall, the shoe display provides a stylish and practical storage solution.

Buyer's Guide

Floating shoe shelves provide an elegant and space-saving solution for storing footwear at home. As you consider purchasing these handy storage solutions, our guide will cover the essential features, considerations, and general advice to help you make the best decision.

Materials and Construction

When browsing for floating shoe shelves, pay attention to the materials used, such as wood, MDF, or metal. Wooden shelves tend to be more durable and versatile, but they may require more maintenance. Metal shelves can be lightweight, easy to install, and low-maintenance, but they might not have the same aesthetic appeal as wooden shelves.

Weight Capacity

Consider the weight capacity of the shelves before making a purchase. Make sure they can support the total weight of your footwear without sagging or breaking. Look for shelving units with reinforced frames or brackets to ensure stability and durability.

Style and Aesthetics

Floating shoe shelves come in various designs, colors, and finishes. Consider your décor and choose a shelf that complements it. Some floating shelves even feature built-in handles or shelves for additional storage space, making them more functional and practical.

Installation and Maintenance

Some floating shoe shelves require assembly, while others may come pre-assembled. Make sure the shelving unit you choose is easy to install and doesn't require any drilling or mounting. As for maintenance, keep your shelves clean and dust-free, and periodically inspect them for any signs of wear and tear.

Space and Storage Considerations

Measure the space where you plan to install the shelves to ensure they fit perfectly. Also, consider the number and size of shoes you want to store and choose a shelf with appropriate dimensions. Finally, floating shoe shelves can double as a decorative feature, so don't be afraid to think outside the box in terms of placement and arrangement.

Quality and Brand Reputation

https://preview.redd.it/78g3mx2qei5d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5064b6dc5df06c01078395b15e1538de1d73d71b
When choosing a floating shoe shelf, look for a reputable brand known for producing high-quality products. Check customer reviews and ratings to get an insight into the overall satisfaction of other buyers. A stable, durable, and well-designed shelf will provide you with a long-lasting and functional solution to your storage needs.

Budget

Finally, consider your budget when choosing a floating shoe shelf. While expensive options may offer superior quality and durability, there are also many affordable alternatives available that can still provide an efficient and attractive footwear storage solution.
By taking into account these key factors and features of floating shoe shelves, you can make an informed decision and select the best storage solution for your home.

2024.06.09 10:19 IronMew BLTouch not compensating enough for bed deformation

The printer is an old Homers/Tevo Tarantula Pro 235x235 bedslinger (with a DD mod, though I doubt that's relevant). It's running Klipper.
Its bed has always been somewhat messed up. This is a 10x10 scan with 2x2 bicubic interpolation, this is another one, and this is a faster 6x6 scan. As you can see, the result is consistent and doesn't look great.
However, once this is known via BLTouch, shouldn't the printer be able to compensate even if the bed looks like a pictoresque view of the Alps?
This is a pic of a layer test and as you can see it's inconsistent. You'll notice the central square isn't going down closely enough, while on the top right the nozzle is too close and has difficulty putting down plastic at all.
If I set the Z-offset so it's closer to the bed it prints the central layers better but scrapes the bed on the outer one.
I put an aesthetic doodad on the Z screw so I can see when it moves, and I can see it slowly shifting as the hotend moves about, so the printer is indeed acting upon the mesh. It just doesn't seem to be doing it enough, or in the right places. I'm kind of at a loss at this point.
I cleaned and oiled the Z screw, then tightened the eccentrics all round for good measure. It sounds smoother, but the result hasn't changed.

2024.06.09 09:28 inthearmsofdyl Dream Segments

I had a few weird segments of dreams today. In my first dream, I was in a room with people, a few classmates showed up before I left. A german guy took notice of me, enamored. I thought about how I must ethnically look to him, wondering why he found me attractive. He let me go, giving me permission to leave the building. I saw a spanish girl who was one of my old classmates, about to give her a makeover. She asked me to give her one. I was already eyeing the orchid lipstick next to her, wanting to try it. I wanted to use it on her, wondering about what color nail polish was here. After talking with the man, I gave him a embrace, feeling his bald head against my arm. He also had a black leather coat/jacket. I asked if he liked david cross, to which he responded eagerly, amused.
I then found myself in a room with pedophiles, with other young people there. I was unsure if I'd get to escape or not. I made friends with a blonde girl that was there. She didn't seem to like me that much. I was able to convince a fat guy who was one of the pedos, to leave. I grasped his attention, somehow being too attractive or not for him. I don't remember if he liked me or not. He let me go. I found out while talking to the girl that Ben Savage had raped her in the ass back in the '90s. He tweeted about it, owning up/admitting to it. It was surprising for an actor to do that. I took off, finding the corridor in the mall that I always see in my dreams. It leads to a hall that I take, where all the '90s stores are. In the lobby, I took my favorite hall, running through it. I tried to get as far away from the nightmarish environment I came from, yearning to be safe in this safe place. I've done this before in past dreams. The mall is usually where I go if I need somewhere safe to hide.
I couldn't believe that I was dreaming, it felt so real. I thought about how I spend too much time at the mall, like a millennial/xennial. How often I can go to the mall. I don't do this in real life, the mall is one of the only good things where I live. I ran some more, nearly lucid. I don't remember how I transitioned to the next segment.
Back home, I was leaning against the wall. There was a pipe at my side. I was probably pressed up against the metal armrest on my bed. I vaguely remember a bowl of water next to me in the dream, worried about my collection of food getting stolen. I had a couple boxes of little debbie cakes. The newest one was a vintage looking box of valentine cakes or cupcakes. I recognized it from online, seeing it on google before. Late '90s - y2k era. It had pink iced on the cakes. The sprinkles were red, white, and purple. Maybe pink too. My mom gave it to me. 'Those are rare. That's the one from the late '90s..' I told her. She nodded, agreeing with what I was saying. She knew that the boxes she saw and wanted to buy were harder to find, like the brownies and cordials. This has happened in real life, except the cakes weren't a vintage formula. My brother tried to take some, after I even covered the boxes with a sheet. The icing on some of the cakes were wrinkled imperfectly. Just then, a volleyball style net took over the room. I leaned against the piping, dodging what felt like a spider on my hand. Tarantula. The room was now just me and my brother. A group of guys included, that I did not know. I ended up killing it, smacking the spider to the ground. Before I even knew what creature it was. I felt it's thorax slightly, picturing it's bottom as white with red square specks on it. I aggressively beat it away like a volley ball, killing the spider. I was shamed for it. It turns out, it was an ancient spider. A young version of my man approached me, sympathetically. I wrapped my arms around him, gently. He mentioned a list of animes to me that he liked. I saw blue popup bubbles form in the air. I don't remember what all happened. We sat and talked, until he got up and ran back towards his friends. Almost immediately, a guy that looked like a fushion of my partner and ex/my abuser, came up to me. He had very light blonde hair and glasses, like a typical nerd in a '80s movie or sitcom. He was domineering, making this the most uncomfortable segment of the day. I saw one of my old classmates again that was in one of my last dreams, who loves michael jackson. '90s makeup was placed around, lipsticks. Vintage. I grabbed at one that was in a clear tube, reading the number on the bottom. It was probably silver. So a maybelline tube. Frosted and brown colored.
I looked into a vanity that was infront of me, a full and wooden one. I think it was wood. I was looking for some liquid lipstick, hearing the guy who seemed like my partner say the words 'liquid lipstick' to someone behind me. I picked up a green lipgloss, liquid and in a small thin tube. I already had a blue-green lip stain on, satin finish. I applied the green to my lips, ruining the lipstick that was on before. And it was barely covering my full lips. It was subtle. The green streaked over my natural lip line, looking liquidy. One of of the two pictures ontop of the wooden dresser, a few feet away, was a photo of madonna. It had the words, 'natural beauty' on it. Her red lipstick was also liquid and overdrawn, clownish. Both ads had women with the same forehead length. Martian looking. There was a miniature figurine on the floor, along with wrapping papers and plastic underneath it. I was wearing a futurism outfit, with footy boots. Barberella vibes, I was getting. I heard the guy explain that he was a feminist, trying to virtual signal to the other women in the room. He mentioned creating something to spread awareness on endometriosis. Which I actually have. I took notice of the tiny figurine, unaware that he was approaching me. I immediately flipped onto my back, seeing my boots change. From futuristic and footed, to clear and translucent boots. With laces on them. He tied my boots for me, which embarrassed me. We made eye contact as he tied my boots. I laid on my back, looking at the miniature figurine, unable to get any look at it at all because it got wrapped up. Right as I turned my head to look. Across from me was another girl. I was not able to react, placed in a plastic seal. I got zipped up inside it, looking at the girl in front of me. In her own plastic sealed case. A bed inside it. Brown and 1960s era. It was like we were dolls, ready to be shipped and packaged for the toy store. I woke up after this.

2024.06.09 09:25 Initialfaust prices of bagged compost in your area?

am i going insane or are prices for compost a bit too far? i was getting 1 cubic foot bags of black kow for around 6.50 at home depot and bags of becks mushroom and leaf compost (believe they are 1 cubic foot as well or at least they are 40 lb bags) for between 5 and 6 bucks at a local countrymax and i was looking online for places that had them in stock for another round of potting soil mix and prices seem to be insane. i saw amazon had the bags of black kow for like 40 bucks but i am seeing the same thing at stores like walmarts garden center. hell the 1.5 cubic foot bags of happy frog soil conditioner i get for around 16 bucks are more than double that at most other places around here. i am kinda glad i found all the pallets i need to make a 2 or 3 bin setup to make most of my own. should probably add it seems like the quality has gone down recently as well. finding plastic, big pieces of wood and of all things nails in bags of compost is kinda crazy.

🔗Tough Vault Takedown Rifle & Shotgun Case by Pelican

https://preview.redd.it/1df8s561xh5d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=97603c1cbfa8e3cc157c63824658473b0037792b
I recently discovered the Pelican V700 Vault Takedown Rifle and Shotgun Case, and it's truly a game changer for transportation of your beloved firearms. As an avid hunter, I appreciate that this case provides a high level of security, offering crushproof, dustproof, and weather resistant protection. The sturdy handles ensure your rifles or shotguns can withstand even the toughest conditions on your hunting trips.
One feature I particularly love is the presence of six push button latches that offer secure closure with easy-open access. This ensures your weapons are safe and secure while also making it convenient for you to access them when needed. The case also comes with specific foam designed to fit takedown firearms and related accessories, providing your gear with excellent protection during transportation.
However, like any product, there are some cons as well. The case is quite bulky and heavy, making it less ideal for those looking for a lightweight solution. Additionally, cutting and shaping the foam to fit your specific equipment can be time-consuming. Overall, despite its drawbacks, I would highly recommend this gun case to anyone in need of a reliable and resilient transportation solution for their takedown firearms.

🔗Durable, Crushproof Double Rifle Case

https://preview.redd.it/pa5ua0k1xh5d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=32f1c0d5618dcdf14a1c3e99e0e5b73498effdb7
I recently had the chance to use the Pelican V800 Vault Double Rifle Case in tan, and I must say it's been a game-changer in keeping my firearms safe and secure. The high-impact polymer exterior is not only incredibly durable but also has a sleek, modern look that I absolutely love.
One of the standout features for me is the customizable protective foam lining the interior. Having a secure fit for my rifles is so important, and this case makes it easy to create that level of protection. Plus, the added benefit of being crushproof, dustproof, and weather-resistant gives me peace of mind when traveling with my gear.
However, cutting the foam to fit my rifles exactly was a bit time-consuming and messy. It would have been nice if the case came with "pluck" foam, like some other brands offer, to make customization easier and less stressful.
In terms of ease of use, the handles are ergonomic and sturdy, making it comfortable to carry even when the case is fully loaded with scoped rifles. The wheels are also a great addition for those times when you need to roll your gear instead of lifting it.
Overall, the Pelican V800 Vault Double Rifle Case has been an excellent investment for keeping my firearms protected during transport. Its combination of durability, security features, and customizable foam make it a top choice for anyone in need of a high-quality rifle case.

🔗Durable 42" Tactical Rifle Hard Case for Secure Transport

https://preview.redd.it/gfgc9a02xh5d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8fb187f51e9f7d19c632d0191e80c414fc811549
As an avid hunter and shooting enthusiast, I've been using the MTM Case-Gard 42" Tactical Rifle Hard Case (let's call it the "42 Gun Case") for several months now. To be honest, I was pleasantly surprised when I received it. Despite the affordable price tag, I wasn't expecting much beyond basic functionality. However, this case has far exceeded my expectations.
The first thing that stood out to me was its sleek black exterior. It looks like something out of a spy movie, but it's not just a pretty face. This hard case is made from a combination of durable materials capable of withstanding even the toughest conditions. Whether I'm hiking through dense forest or driving down bumpy roads, my rifle stays safe inside this case.
Another feature I absolutely love is the interior padding. Not only does it secure my rifle, but it also prevents any scratches or bumps that could potentially damage it. The 42" length is perfect for accommodating various types of rifles, providing ample space for accessories too.
The latching system is another highlight. It keeps my rifle securely in place, even during rough transportation. Additionally, the padlock tabs add an extra layer of safety, providing peace of mind.
Despite its robust design, the 42 Gun Case is surprisingly lightweight and easy to handle. The molded-in handle is both comfortable and efficient, making it a great travel companion for my hunting trips and shooting practices.
However, there are a few minor drawbacks worth mentioning. The case isn't completely waterproof, which may be a concern for those planning on using it in wet environments. Additionally, the build quality is good, but the material is not as premium as some higher-end options.
All things considered, the MTM Case-Gard 42" Tactical Rifle Hard Case is a terrific choice for anyone in need of a reliable, protective rifle storage solution. Its combination of durability, security, and convenience make it stand out in the crowded market of gun cases. Whether you're a seasoned hunter or a beginner shooter, this case offers excellent value for money.

🔗Drake Waterfowl Side-Opening Gun Case

https://preview.redd.it/e94987b2xh5d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=312a3894bb257a9a5576a907fb931c5665fe9afa
Experience the innovation of the Drake Waterfowl Side-Opening Gun Case! This ground-breaking design revolutionizes how we store and maintain our firearms. The patented side flap allows for seamless access to your gun, while its HD2 material and water-resistant nylon interior liner provide top-notch protection. The adjustable shoulder strap, outer pocket for choke tubes, and sturdy snap fastenings make it the perfect companion for keeping your firearms safe, dry, and ready for action.
I've been using this case for some time now and I can't sing its praises enough. The side-flap feature is a game-changer; it made it incredibly easy to clean and dry my shotgun after a hunting trip. The interior is made of synthetic materials that don't absorb water or dirt, which is a lifesaver when your gear gets splashed with mud and water.
A small drawback I've noticed is that the exterior pocket can be a bit challenging to close if you're storing choke tubes. However, I suppose this is a minor concern given the case's overall performance and quality. The durability has been impressive; I've taken this case out in all conditions and it's held up beautifully.
In summary, the Drake Waterfowl Side-Opening Gun Case is a brilliant and practical solution for storing and maintaining your firearms. Its innovative design, durable construction, and water resistance make it a must-have for hunters and shooting enthusiasts alike. Despite the minor issue with the exterior pocket, I wholeheartedly recommend this case for its performance and value.

🔗Avery Floating Gun Case for Waterfowl Hunting

https://preview.redd.it/s7etgwk2xh5d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9b33a21839f768357a0557fd616e44c1e13448f9
As an avid waterfowl hunter, I can safely say that the Avery Floating 2.0 Gun Case in Max5 camo has completely changed my game. I remember one chilly morning when my shotgun took an unexpected dip in the water. Thanks to the water-resistant DuraMax material of this case, I didn't have to worry about my trusty companion being ruined by the moisture.
What I especially love about this case is how it ensures protection in water with its floating design. It's like having a personal bodyguard for my precious shotgun! And let's not forget the adjustable shoulder strap which makes carrying this beast of a case incredibly comfortable.
However, there are two downsides to this otherwise fantastic gun case. Firstly, it tends to run on the smaller side, causing some issues when it comes to fitting in larger shotguns with extended chokes. Secondly, even though the material is strong and reliable, it does lack a little in terms of water resistance.
Overall, if you're looking for a solid and reliable gun case that will protect your shotgun from unexpected mishaps while you're out hunting, then the Avery Floating 2.0 Gun Case in Max5 camo is definitely worth considering. Just remember to check its compatibility with your specific shotgun first!

🔗Plano 44" Durable Wheeled Gun Case

As an avid hunter, I've always been on the lookout for durable cases to protect my beloved firearms. When I came across the Plano Double Tactical Field Locker Case, I knew it was exactly what I needed. This wheeled case, designed specifically for tactical firearms, is no lightweight contender!
The reinforced construction and industrial draw-down latches give me peace of mind when transporting my AR-15 platform. The double-density foam interiors provide excellent cushioning during transit, keeping my rifle safe from any unexpected bumps along the way.
However, one drawback worth mentioning is its weight. It can get quite heavy once you've packed everything in, but hey, it's better to be safe than sorry! Plus, the built-in wheels make it easier to maneuver around.
In summary, if you're looking for a high-quality case that offers top-level protection and security, the Plano Double Tactical Field Locker Case is definitely worth considering. Just make sure you have some strong arms to carry it!

🔗Extra Large, Wheeled Waterproof Gun Case with Customizable Foam Interior

As an avid adventurer, I've encountered numerous challenges on the road, but my Renegade Waterproof Combination Lock Locking Rifle Case has been a game-changer. Its reinforced polypropylene exterior offers unparalleled durability, making it a reliable companion during my wildest escapades. I never worry about the safety of my gear as its customizable foam interior provides ample protection. The Renegade case's waterproof, dustproof, and shockproof features ensure that no matter the environment, my stuff will remain secured.
The upgraded, heavy-duty camlock latches made opening and closing the case a breeze. However, they could be stronger - but the fact that it comes with two locking points provides added protection, especially against curious hands or mischievous children.
The Renegade's wheels and handles make it incredibly easy to transport, no matter the terrain. Plus, the integrated pressure release valve is a lifesaver, automatically equalizing air pressure during altitude changes.
Overall, the Renegade Waterproof Combination Lock Locking Rifle Case has been a reliable, resilient, and efficient companion for all my outdoor adventures. If you're looking for a trustworthy case to safeguard your valuables on-the-go, this case is definitely worth considering.

I've had the pleasure of using the Browning Waterfowl Floater 54-inch Shotgun Case Major Brown 1419509852 over the past year and it's been a game-changer. The heavy-duty design gives me peace of mind knowing my shotgun is well protected. As someone who often finds themselves on a boat hunting for ducks, the ability to trust this case to keep my gun safe from water damage is truly comforting.
One of the features that really stands out to me is the high-density closed cell foam padding. It ensures that my shotgun stays dry even if it does happen to fall into the water. The other day I accidentally dropped my case from my boat, and while my heart dropped along with it, I was relieved to see my beloved shotgun bobbing on the surface safely.
Another detail I appreciate about this case is the excellent quality of workmanship. The fabric is rugged and durable, able to withstand years of use without showing signs of wear. The web handles and hanging loop make it easy to carry and store when not in use.
However, there are some minor drawbacks. The detachable shoulder strap could use improvement; it tends to loosen over time and doesn't stay put as securely as I would like. Additionally, while the Browning Vintage Tan camo pattern is attractive, it might not be to everyone's taste.
In conclusion, I highly recommend the Browning Waterfowl Floater 54-inch Shotgun Case Major Brown 1419509852. Its exceptional protection against water damage, high-quality construction, and stylish appearance make it an excellent choice for any serious waterfowl hunter. Despite its minor cons, this case has become an indispensable part of my hunting gear!

I'll start with my own personal story of using this product. I have been using the CASTLECREEK Handgun Display Case for a while now, and I must say it's been a delightful experience so far. The first thing that caught my eye was its beautiful design. The wood product with ash veneer gives it a very elegant look that has surely added charm to my man cave.
The glass-top lid is another highlight of this product. It keeps the contents dust-free and looking good until they're ready to be passed down to the next generation. And speaking of the next generation, the locking latches are a great feature to ensure your prized possessions remain safe and secure.
However, not everything was perfect. The green felt lining was a bit too firm for my liking, making it difficult to place items without compression. This didn't sit right with me, but with some modifications, I managed to make it work.
As for the price, I found it to be an amazing bargain. For the quality and features you get, the CASTLECREEK Handgun Display Case is a steal. However, make sure you order a short-barreled revolver as the box is a little short.
In conclusion, while there were some minor drawbacks, the CASTLECREEK Handgun Display Case has been a valuable addition to my collection. Its elegant design, locking latches, and glass-top lid make it a perfect choice for anyone looking to display their prized firearms or other valuable items.

I've been using the Pelican 1770 Long Gun Case for some time now, and I must say it has been a game-changer in keeping my gear protected. This sturdy case, made from high-quality polypropylene, offers excellent protection against water, dust, and crushing forces. The two automatic pressure equalization valves are a real bonus, ensuring that the interior pressure stays balanced while keeping out unwanted moisture.
Navigating this case is a breeze, thanks to its wide-track polyurethane wheels with ball bearings and nylon hubs. The two rugged double-wide fold down handles make transporting the case hassle-free, while the 4 extra deep base-to-lid locking cleats provide maximum stacking stability. Plus, the stainless steel hardware and padlock protectors offer added peace of mind.
One aspect I particularly appreciated was the adjustable foam inserts, which allowed me to customize the interior to fit my specific gear. The case's interior dimensions are quite generous, making it perfect for storing long items like lighting stands or guitars.
The only downside I can think of is that the case can be quite heavy when filled with gear, so be prepared for some arm work while moving it around. Additionally, the price tag may be a bit steep for some, but considering the quality and durability of the case, it's definitely worth the investment for anyone looking to keep their valuable equipment safe and secure.
Overall, the Pelican 1770 Long Gun Case is a top-notch, high-quality product that has made a significant difference in protecting my valuable gear. Its impressive sturdiness and portability make it a must-have for anyone in need of a reliable case for their long items.

Regarding the metal body pin. I can manually measure using a caliper so you can find a similar one from your local store or home hardware center. Same with the retaining clip. 2024.06.09 02:53 internboy123 Help me get over extreme networking anxiety as a vacation schemer/intern?

Hi all - going to do a VS at a big scary law firm this summer, and I know there's going to be one or two socials with fee earners attending. I know they wont expect me to be super impressive given that I'm (1) not a qualified lawyer (2) much younger than them and nervous, but I feel like it's so obvious that myself alongside the several other youngins are going to want to make a good impression and all be rounding up the firms lawyers to ask them the same repeated, very boring questions like "so how is this firm REALLY?" or "What's your favorite case you've been on?".
I am a chatty person, I'd consider myself as otherwise really sociable, and I love getting to know people outside events like these, but I feel like this sort of chat that I can perhaps let out in my other jobs (restaurants and working at cinemas, hahah) is not the 'type' of conversation that I can have at fancy firm networking events. I don't want to make a fool out of myself by not knowing what the conversational etiquette is, so anything on this I'd really appreciate.
I feel nervous that it's impossible to stand out, or be someone that will be actually interesting for fee-earners to speak to. I feel anxious that it's plainly obvious, basically inescapable, that our networking is laced with a 'please hire me' butt-kissy aura and I don't like that, it feels unnatural, specially because I don't think I am good at smchoozing. I am worried that I am not a 'laddy banter' person either, given that I didn't grow up in that kind of culture. I don't know!!! I feel worried that I won't be able to just barge into a 'circle' that's already formed and be stuck at the canape table.
Please can someone give me some advice? I'm spiralling!

2024.06.09 00:22 sandymckraken A quick bullet paper on the most common things regarding recent uniform changes.

xcerpts from DEPARTMENT OF THE AIR FORCE INSTRUCTION 36-2903 29 FEBRUARY 2024 Corrective Actions Applied on 13 March 2024 7.4.2. Footwear Combat Boots (Males/Females). 7.4.2.1. Coyote Brown Combat Boots. Wear Coyote Brown combat boots only with the OCP. Athletic shoes may be worn if medically necessary, as determined by competent medical authorities at a civilian or military treatment facility and approved by the commander. Exception: Commanders may authorize wear of black combat boots in some situations. See paragraph 7.4.2.3. The soling material will not exceed 2-inches in height. Airmen may wear taps on their boots to preserve the heels as long as the taps do not change the intended appearance of the boots. Boots will be laced up with plain rounded toe or rounded capped toe with or without a perforated seam. Laces will either be tied and tucked in the boot or tied and wrapped around the boot. A zipper or elastic inserts may be worn; however, if worn, they will be without design. Boots can be either with or without a safety toe. Logos will be the same color as the boot. Designs are not authorized. 5.1.8. OCP Trouser. The trouser waistband will rest on the Airman’s waist. Secure pockets so that items stowed in pockets are not visible. Exception: OCP patrol cap or beret may extend outside when placed in the OCP trouser cargo pocket. A cap will be worn outdoors at all times, unless in a designated “no hat” area. Cap will fit snugly and comfortably around the largest part of the head without bulging or distortion from the intended shape of the headgear and without excessive gaps. No hair will be visible on the forehead beneath the cap. Airmen are authorized to block the patrol cap. The Velcro® or sew-on spice brown nametape will be worn centered on the back of the cap. Tactical caps may be solid OCP material or OCP with coyote brown mesh back. No other colors or combinations are authorized. Soles will not exceed 1/2-inch in thickness and the heel will not exceed 1-inch in height (measured from the inside front of the heel); however, the sole may have a low wedge heel. Airmen may wear taps on their shoes to preserve the heels as long as the taps do not change the intended appearance of the shoes. They will be plain, clean, and serviceable, and without ornamentation such as buckles, bows, or straps. Shoes will be smooth or scotch-grained leather or manmade material. Shoes will be shined; high gloss or patent finish is optional.

2024.06.08 23:48 BrianReynoldsLA Want to take a different approach to arsenal build

2h no thumb, right handed
210+ on house
190 on sport shots
Bowling two-handed for about 11 months.
Ready to change out my current balls for better pieces. Not looking to always get the next new thing but rather to build a 6+ arsenal with pieces I'll be happy to throw for a long time. (Plus a plastic spare ball).
My coach suggested looking at what the pros throw week after week. Would love ideas on how to get that information. The PBA lists what pros use on the television shows. I'm hoping to find a larger data set especially for the qualifying rounds.
Thanks is advance for any help or insight.

2024.06.08 23:30 aquafinaguzzler Transporting empty alcohol containers after trash clean-up?

I am a wilderness ranger in a national forest in the eastern US. I drive my own private vehicle for work.
The other evening, after i left the trail in my wilderness that I’d spent the day at, I drove up to an overlook to stretch my body and watch the sun disappear behind the mountains.
I noticed a disgusting amount of trash, so my ranger instincts kicked in and i grabbed a plastic bag from my car to gather it all. I called it quits after about 30 minutes, threw the bags in the back of my van, and continued on with my ritual. Then I drove the 5 miles back to my ranger house.
On the way home, there was a sheriff behind me for most of the drive. Afterward, I realized what a bad look that would be if they had pulled me over, noticed the smell of alcohol, and seen my two grocery store bags stuffed with empty beer cans, cigarette butts, and food wrappers.
I had all my ranger gear with me; tan shirt, inreach device, random paperwork I have in a folder, etc. Obviously very explainable to an LEO with an open ear. But what if the cop was in a bad mood? Or just didn’t believe me? Am i cornered? What is the legality of transporting opened alcohol containers? We don’t have a recycling service that does rounds to my house, so I set aside my own recycling - which includes my own beer bottles - at the house and take it to a recycling center, which was my plan with this stuff as well.
Any insight is appreciated. Very curious if there’s something obvious im not thinking of, or if I’ve just opened pandora’s box. Thanks!

2024.06.08 23:16 Jealous_Ranger_1641 wicked boxing first time use bag training [review]

https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTLKceY4C/
first round is within minutes of putting the gloves on first time, not even wearing my boxing shoes.
soOOOoooo putting the gloves on, they did feel great right away, i mentioned in the unboxing that the thumb was tight, that wasnt actually the case when i wore them forreal.
the 59.99$ version has a ridge on the wrist like the powerlocks to secure the laces, but i wont mention this as a con, considering I dont usually go lace up and many many gloves don’t have that. but regardless it still felt very secured despite the guy tying them for me had never done it before.
i wont get technical they just felt good. and my experience with more high end gloves has made me learn to hold my tongue in the beginning as they “break in,” my first week with hayabusa i was literally second guessing my purchase. so when I set out to make a first impression review i kept that in mind.
but then i was shocked to love them immediately. they were a perfect pad to firm balance. the materials are obviously incredibly nice. they dont over treat the leather just to make them look nice, so far they are my favorites.
one thing of note, with direct shots like the jab, it is more firm than i expected and maybe thats what will “break in,” because i felt like the glove was forcing me to strike with the knuckles but i didnt feel a thing, it was just adjusting to that which threw me off a little (only with a heavy bag)
so all in all 9/10 in overall
10/10 in value.
mark my words, one day these will be priced up with the rest.

2024.06.08 22:56 IronMew BLTouch not compensating enough for bed deformation

So I know that the bed on my printer is somewhat messed up.
The printer is an old Homers/Tevo Tarantula Pro 235x235 bedslinger (with a DD mod, though I doubt that's relevant). It's running Klipper.
Edit: I cleaned and oiled the Z screw, then tightened the eccentrics all round for good measure. It sounds smoother, but the result hasn't changed.

2024.06.08 20:59 benitolepew How to put these back together? Looks like I’m missing a piece

How to put these back together? Looks like I’m missing a piece
I used them and they were working great (counter mount soap dispensers) and when I went to refill them they both jammed instead of pump.
I’ve boiled the parts 2x now. I have yet to figure out how to put them back together. Looks like one is missing a small round plastic part. I can’t tell from the crappy diagram what parts go where. Any halp pls?
