Hello ladies and gentleman, this is going to be a long post. I need to get this off my chest and I prefer using a throwaway (I hope the mods approve this)

For the past 2 years, I lived a very weird life, I use the word weird because the more I think about it the more it doesnt make sense. Basically, I was living in the delusion that I had found happiness. Being a very emotionally stunted person meant I was taking everything at face value, never was too happy never was too sad, always expected a fluctuation in the the straight line that is life and treated every event as such. So when all of this started, I was stupid enough to let my guard down. Bohot bachaa ke rakha tha apne aap ko, aek dafa ki thi ye ghalti pehle aur socha tha ke ab phirse nahi kerni, lekin;

Coming back to my delusion, I found a girl 😂 How I found her is not relevant, but what is relevant is what I did after finding her. Initially, it was the same old story, boy meets girl, boy likes girl, boy has red flags, girl has red flags, but the chemistry is there and they choose to work through them and make it work. Sounds nice right? Mujhe bhi soch ke kuch aesa hi laga tha 😂 Reality was different, tab socha nahi ke kitne barre imtehan mein apne aap ko daal raha hun.
Thinking back to it, I had to fight for my place. I had to fight other potential candidates, which at the time, felt like the right thing to do. Infatuation, it its most embryonic stage, has a way of blinding you with false hope. Wearing those blinds I fell into what broke me so much more as a human being that all of what I had built myself to become, I found in pieces. It was surprising to see how I had let something take so much control. I wont lie, in the moment, it was perfect, I had everything I wanted.

A big mistake I would say would be that I trusted her with myself. When I say myself, I mean all my weaknesses that I had been hiding from the world to be this person that everyone around me depended on. I know what you must be thinking, a child is typing this and acting as if he has the burden of the world on his shoulders 😂 Unfortunately, Im an adult who is mourning what I believed to be maybe my happy ending after the endless suffering I had been through.
Another mistake from the list of many was that I made earning my forgiveness very easy. Its very normal to mess up, but messing up to a certain point is acceptable, past that point you have to set your limits, which I didnt. Sometimes its surprising to look back at how much I let someone walk over me, thinking that I am conducting constructive dialogue which will prevent this from happening again.

By the end of all of it I had woken up, I knew I was destroying myself. As I type this, Im not sure how to describe it, it was the best nightmare anyone could ask for, being awake I feel like I have been put back in the jail of my own thoughts. I live in isolation, I dont talk to anyone anymore, its like Im back to being myself after learning how to be so much more. I did not get closure, for a number of reasons, which Im okay with, one of us had to live like this, Im just glad it could be me.
I think my brain, due to its limited capacity to process a range of emotions, hid a lot of bad memories so I dont completely shut down. I am very thankful for that, I didnt shut down, and went through all of this to the point where the deep ache in my chest has slowly begun to disappear. It hasnt fully gone away, it has its moments.

So I gave my 12 boards in year 2022, scored decent percentage(86%) CBSE board so like every other aspirant I thinked let's take drop for 1 year... When I gave jee with 12 I scored around 50 percentile(was not taking any coaching or any sorts of tution,na hi 11 12 mai koi tuition lo boards ke liye yt se padhta tha sirf) so when I write exam after one year of drop I scored 62 percentile in my first attempt aur second attempt mai 69 percentile.... I was shattered whole year I think ki agar 130-120 bhi le aya to state ke nit mai easily ho Jayega kisi circuital branch mai(I belongs to HP, here a general male candidate can easily get any circuital branch if you score 96-97 percentile due to home state quota). So I thought ki ab to kuch nhi hoga but fir ek din ek dost ne bola ki Bhai tu second drop lele.. I thought is year 96 percentile 140 Tak bani hai moderate shift mai to agar ek saal acche se padha to 160-180 tk le aunga(My first mistake ki maine apna goal hi chota seat Kiya like 180 number) Second drop le liya.. starting mai sab sahi ja raha tha up to July scoring good marks in mock like 110-120ish.Iwas happy ki chalo last year se progress ho rhi hai exam Tak 160-180 ho ji jayega...I didn't join any offline coaching was preparing from my home by pw prayas batch( My second mistake ki maine apne comfort zone Mai reh kar padhai karna decide Kiya, I know ki most of log aap mai se bolenge ki Bhai online Ghar se padh kar bhi ho jata hai and I completely agree with you but the thing is if you are preparing online for such big competitive exam you need to be disciplined which In my case was lacking)cut to Second drop result I scored same percentile like last year... Fully fucked up I know ki kuch nhi milega is pe aur kismat itni acchi ki is year 2024 jab exam Diya to first attempt 27 Jan shift2 thi aur second attempt mai 6 April shift 1 which you guys know ki dono mai hi high marks pe low percentile bni hai due to several reasons but mai apni failure ko is se nhi excuse kar raha.. I didn't study properly and I failed that simple ... Jab se exam aya hai zayda tar Ghar pe hi rehta hun aur ab bas suicidal thoughts hi ate haii... Most of the time depressed rehna ... [F18]Actually I'm quite new to reddit basically throwaway account hai ye( as my username), my problem is that I got RT in maths this year was a private candidate not a fresh candidate, last year got 78% but maths Mai RT agyi thi, improvement nhi diya tha maine July wala (ik big mistake) and abhi wale Mai firse RT agyi but jee mains m meri 87 percentile hai (27s1) maths Mai (93) before you all say that mujhe maths smjh nhi ati or anything let me tell you that I do understand maths tabhi to jee field liya tha but jab boards m karna hota subjectively to I'm unable to do so like write everything down objective hi 20marks ke hote wo hojate fir I try to do 5 marker but waha I go clueless and ab to step marking bhi nhi hoti itni i guess jiske wajah se I couldn't do so also ig my checker was strict but ek baar smjh ata hai do baar nhi : (But now I'm very very clueless and dissapointment to myself and my parents as well I gave my wordings that I'll prove myself this year to them but eventually lost, parents ne kafi kuch bola hai and ik I'm worth of all those things that they said mujhe bura Iga but it's my fault and I'm accepting it.can anyone really say what should be done now? ⚫also those who scored really good in maths boards please guide me on how to basically write to fetch more marks and what should I do for upcoming exam in July?? I did sat for comedk (getting 81 S1) thought for manipal but date chali gyi thi, vit nhi diya cause of hearing scam ranking, SRM ki fees high hai kafi, so please suggest me college as well jinki dates baki ho, I wanted to pursue research but jisse boards ki maths nhi ho rhi hai usse research kaise hogi so ditching that would be better I guess so.. Also I need to go to take admission this year itself, I can't take more drop.
TLDR (ik it's a big paragraph but I urge to read it, still if you didn't): I didn't passed in maths from cbse boards also I'm a dropper but got enough for admission in government colleges seeking help for other private colleges and regarding this board issue.

My brother is currently in 10th grade and naturally 11th mein kya lega ye sawaal mere parents aur uske dimaag mein aara hain and after seeing his marks and lack of interest in science along with my failure in jee has made my brother decide ki he won't take science and my parents are fine with it but ye toh hain ki andar se even they want ki hum dono mein se koi iit jaye ya upsc kare but I know that both of us aren't studious people, don't confuse this with me telling my brother to fuck studies and do other shit (my brother is a great football player better than me lol).
But I know that he will never sacrifice football and his school life to a very big extent for an exam but he is sincere enough to manage a good percentage and ye baat jab maine kuch relatives ko boli toh unhone taunt maare ki "tera ni hua toh usse kyu demotivate kar ra hain"," iski sune ki koi zarurat ni hain tu science hi le" lmao telling my brother to get into commerce (as he actually finds it more amusing tho ik its hard too) makes me a jealous loser, they think vo mujhse zyada mere bhai ka bhala chate hain.
I know I have always been a failure and never been a brother he can look upto but chahe mujhe kuch bhi karna pade I'll make sure ki atleast he achieves whatever he chooses to do in life. Sorry for the rant maybe I'm wrong somewhere that's why I'm posting this here so please tell me.

There's a provision in our hostel that phones would be allowed to students for a few hrs in a day. Yesterday, me and 2 of my friends were having lunch in the hostel and one of them found a caterpillar looking insect in his food. I clicked a picture and shared it in the hostel WhatsApp group which consists of the warden and the students living in the hostel. Now everyone saw that image and forwarded it to their parents. And one of the group members sent it in their section's group chat. And a few students of the girls hostel were present in that group. And the food supplied to boys hostel is same as that of the girls hostel. And those girls circulated the pic in their hostel and to their parents. Snd yesterday a lot of parents complained about this issue to the hostel manager. And out of frustration, the hostel manager scolded the warden for providing phones and also told him to provide phones for only 1 hr. Because according to him if there were no phones, then no one would've circulated the image. He's basically pressed about the fact that we shared it with other people of the hostel. Lmao He probably excepts us to eat potentially hazardous food and shut tf up and share it w no one. 😀 And also the warden is scolding me for sharing that image in the gc and telling me that I made everyone believe it was a big worm by sending a zoomed image lmao. How else was I supposed to send a clear fucking proof of a worm in the food? And also he said a bunch of shit to the guy who forwarded it in their section's group. And also the girls hostel warden was deliberately trying to convince them to show her the forwarded image and even told them that it was fake. And the hostel manager is indirectly sending orders through the warden. And one of the statement which he made that I clearly rmb was "whoever it was that forwarded the image can leave the hostel if he wants to". Never thought I'd have to face this type of shit during my 12th 😀

2024.05.14 07:52 Glad_Degree_7146 270-290 in BITSAT Mocks, 68% in Boards. Need Help

GENERAL HELP
Yes I am someone who is able to score 270-290 marks in BITSAT mocks but due to my arrogance and ego I fucked up my boards. Preboards nahi diye socha ki jee ka prep kar raha hun boards kya cheez hai, yt pe motivational videos dekh ke ek raat pehle formula padh ke chala gaya, koi sample papers bhi nahi lagaye. JMains me 91.2%ile jisme kuch nahi milega. Socha tha BITSAT mocks me ache aa rahe hai BITS Hyd ya Goa kisi me bhi ECE or CSE to mil hi jayega, but I fucked up big time.
Thank god I gave other entrances like SRMJEE in which I got main campus(KTR) course: CSE w specialization in AI, secured VIT Chennai ECE, and did well in Shiv Nadar SAT, also gave COMEDK which I have high hopes for ( expecting under 3k ). Now me and my family are perplexed. I am not meeting the eligibility criteria for VIT so that's out of question, and my dad is not preferring SRM because its reviews are not very convincing so keeping it as last resort. So I am left with Shiv Nadar whose result is coming out tomorrow i.e 15th may and COMEDK.
My family is also considering taking a drop, giving boards again, meeting criteria for BITSAT and then aim for JEE and BITSAT next year, but I am fucking exhausted now, I don't have the mental capacity to do this brainrot preparation again, also my dad is saying that I will not be allowed to have a phone tv any type of social media or anything which is not related to my academics.
Suicidal thoughts aa rahe hai, college jaake mujhe coding karni hai, sports khelna hai, personality development hoga, ek saal aur nahi baithna mujhe, samajh nahi aa raha kya karu. Parent sunne ko raazi nahi hai keh rahe hai drop loge to better rahega karloge but they dont fucking understand ki ek aur saal ussi chair table pe baith ke padhne ke guts nahi hai mere me, while all my other friends are in college having a completely different experience. Vaise bhi maine bol rakha hai parents se ki main B.Tech karke job nahi krunga M.Tech karunga either from India or Abroad and in today's times, where you did your higher studies matters more than where you did your B.tech from, so I believe taking a drop is a waste in my case. What do you guys think ?
Please suggest some colleges which I can still fill out a form for.

Ok. Let’s talk about each main character. Aditi and Sanjeeda are just beautiful. I found aditi expressionless but I think she did fine here. So did sanjeeda. The other characters portrayed by Shruthi and Pratibha are also getting the well deserved praises Also Sonakshi never felt so feminine to me. But here she was good. Especially as Rehaana aapa. And Richa Chadha imo is not as pretty as Sanjeeda,but is a badass actor. Love each and every role she plays. No matter how small or big, she always slays the role. Let’s not even talk about Manisha. Unko jitna experience h, utni toh meri Umar bhi nahi hogi. ………. But Sharmin, oh god! was intolerable. Like there should atleast be one scene where she could make the audiences like her. Atleast the death sequence could’ve been better. Like yeah introvert, Pat akele mein bhi nahi rote kya bhai???? Interviews mein boldene se ki yeah I auditioned for an entire year for 16 times is just like yeah I gave the exam again and again but never prepared for it. SLB was so hyped all these years. For the amount of performance pressure he puts on his actors to bring out the best. Itna pressure ki koila bhi heera ban jaye!!!! Irony bro, such irony. This is my first and most probably last post here,I have qualified for JEE Advanced but it was a close call as I got 94.5 percentile , this year was my first year appearing for JEE and will be my last at least I think so I had hope for advanced as my chemistry especially organic chem was strong but for a few weeks I had pain in my lower back and groin areas it was unbearable and when we did some tests guess what? I had kidney stones at 18 and the cherry on the top was that they were 10.7 mm and 7.7 mm each in the left and right ureter , that is in the middle of it so you can't remove it with lithotripsy that is a shockwave treatment thing which breaks down the stone into smaller fragments that you can easily pass this treatment is the most minimalistic way to treat kidney stones without entering the body,but it had to be stuck in the ureter. The doctor suggested that I should go for ureteroscopy that a small tube will be passed in the ureter that breaks down the stone making it easier to pass. My parents immediately took me out of the hospital and called every single relative of mine to ask for some bullshitty AYURVEDIC MEDICINE from some Baba of sorts they said " Tujhe kya bada aasan lagta hai operation krwana ? Mera kuch nhi jayega tera hai insurance, mujhe kya jab cheer faad krenge na tab pata chalega." I know that it is quite uncommon for people my age to have to be operated but what can I do now? Kr li galti. Now that things have come to this I have shifted my focus from Adv to BITSAT as that is the only good option I have rn. I feel degected due to this thing I'm not able sit straight for hours, they say go and walk outside , when I try to tell them it pains too much they say it will pain but it will come down slowly slowly and you'll be able to pass it. Well I can't do much about it but the absolute worst of the things I have to face in my life is my parents fighting each other Ik fights happen in household but you ever heard your mum say" Madarchod apni maa ko bicha deta hai na tu logon ke saamne main bhi bich jau kya?!!" Ye sab bolte hain while being loud as fuck saari gali main sunta hain logon ko , I feel ashamed when I see my friends literally next door and on the opposite side of my house,I feel their eyes on me my mom doesn't go out much often so mostly nobody knows her. She shouts so loudly with the most vulgar of things you can imagine she calls me Chakka, bhadwa, and all sorts of things when I try to stop her yelling by placing my hand on the mouth she says that I hit her and beat her. Whenever my dad's home that is my dad works in a company overseas so he goes for 2 months and comes back again after 2 months, she fights with him everyday I admit that many a times he is wrong but she makes it into complicated things and bringing his mother into it too, the fight like mad animals they hit each other swear at each other in the loudest voice possible and the things are so vulgar the mods might take this post down maybe they will cz of the things mentioned above well it was jjst rant in the end so np ig.My family is so fucked up my mother she had me when she was 19 she did not belong to a financially stable family, has 3 brothers and she is the youngest of all she was married to a 40 year old something guy and had me , the man left her after she had me I still don't know the reasons and everyone around her rejected her but my grandmother was different she left everyone for her came to my side she was there for me and my mother for 14 years during which my other met my dad( not the biological one but for me this man is my only father even if not biological) they fell in love and well several years passed everything was going well my father got ED( I came to know about thus cz of these two fighting amd cursing at each other)and my other cheated on him a guy quite younger than her, I came home one day and saw the man in my house I asked who he was my mum said he is some known guy that came here for some auditions and couldn't afford to stay and hotel. He slept with me in my bedroom and well I say my mother and him fucking each other on my bed and while I saw this I started crying while keeping my voice low and closed eyes but I did not turn on the light, I screamed and rushed outside to go and call my neighbour so that he woukd call my father overseas my mom and the guy stopped me and told me nothing had happened and my mom came out from the other bedroom, its been 8 years since then but my mother and that guy still tallk to each other video call eacb other and I can't say anything cz who am I to say? " Tu meri maa hai kya ki mera baap jo mujhe sikhayega??" Exact words of my mother even when I caught her redhanded and told that I would tell father this bitch said she whaf the fuck is your father gonna do huh? " Jisko tu baap bol rha hain na woh sirf meri wajah se pal rha hain tujhe jiss din ye hath hatt jayega na uss din pata lagega tujhe naali ka keeda kahin ka" She raised me in adversities Ik her struggle but should I listen to all of this the man who also although not from the very start took care of me should I let him live a bubble , today my father knows everything but still he believes in mother absolute fool of a man he is she has cheated on him multiple times but just because he has three kids he is not taking divorce because who will watch the kids when he is not here. Its also not possible for my dadi to see us as my mother has always had bitter relations with everyone close to my father Today as well my dad left sometime ago for airport he is flying today this women gave him so much stress he had had brainstroke at the age of 40, my grandmother that is my mum's mother is here with us so she told me to get her medicines while I was going out with my father , she gave me 500 rupees eventhough I wasn't going to take it my father's upi wasn't working well yesterday so I thought that I should take the money for emergencies. So I took the money and after everything was done I came home forgetting that I had to take medicines for my grandma too I dropped dad at home and went out to get medicines while getting the medicines the shop next to it was closing so I quickly got 3 pack of chips for me and my brothers I did not use upi there as I thought giving cash would be fast.I paid the shopkeeper 60 rupees and he handed over 440 to me after which I gave 100 to a istri wala the bill was 5p but we both did bit have change so I told him that he could just give me next time and today my other asks me about WHY I HAD ASKED MY GRANDMOTHER FOR MONEY FOR THE MEDICINES.Even when I told her she told me why didn't I use paytm why did I TAKE MONEY FROM HER. She says If I did not use the money I should pay it back. I her the remaining money she still made a big deal out of it and told my father" ITNI BHI AUKAAT NHI HAI HUMARI JO MERI MAA SE PAISE MANGNE PAD RHE HAIN USKI MEDICINE KE LIYE" and made a scene out of it my dad was about to cancel his job because she said she would leave rn this happened an hour or two ago before this post was posted. I'm fed up with this shit I really am I wish to get into BITS and leave this family after I graduate and keep minimal contact with thsi hellhole. When I leave I ain't coming back never again.

I have given my first attempt in JEE 2023 only to know my prep is not enough and ended up getting 40 percentile which broke me to the core, from that day i decided to work hard for my career. I have started my drop year in may 2023
THE DROP YEAR
Socha nahi tha itna zyada difficult hoga but I don't have any choice so kept going till the very end day without skipping a single day, 103 bukhar me test dena, diwali, holi, birthday kisi celebration ka part nahi bana. ig now it's all worth it but yk guys I would advice everyone to avoid drop year if they can cuz it can fuck your mental health so much you guys can't even imagine, your money, time and hardwork will become a waste if you commit a single mistake. I don't even remember how many nights I cried myself to sleep during drop year. Well back to Story last month before jan session was a really big deal for me, I started panicking but somehow I sailed through by following a simple strategy of study→revise→mock without fail and repeat but yk I suck in revision part, revision ka koi tareeka nahi samajh aarha tha last 2 mahine tak koi proper revision source bhi nhi mila mujhe fir bhai pata nahi kahi se ek platform mila jo kuch toh shortnotes jaisa material sell kar rha tha full PCM syllabus ka so I bought it for as it was not that expensive for short notes aur luckily unke shortnotes ne mujhe end me bacha lia pata nahi kaise vo sheets work kar gayi aur revision me bhot zyada help hui ( don't worry i will attach link of app and discount code in the end for anyone who is interested or sucks in revision like me ) Now comes the D day 27 jan shift 2, got a shitty centre but i adjusted as i have given my mocks in tough situations, the paper started and ended like a flash all i remember is i was solving question rapidly with good accuracy in the end attempted 60ish kinda sad as i have underperformed but kept patience till result got 99.3X percentile and that day i cried tears of joy, my family was shocked as they have expected 97 or 98 on a upper limit becoz i lied to them about my expectations to see their reactions on the result day and man 13 feb(or 12 feb night) beacame one of the most memorable day of my life, continued my prep for advanced and i have a fucking how did i improved to 99.6X in april session i just gave it in a very relaxed mode.
WAITING FOR ALL THIS TO END ON 26 MAY BECOZ OF THE BURNOUT FROM MAINS.

All of these are my opinions. I don't expect anyone to agree with me, especially on a season as divisive as this.
Episode Ranking (From Favorite to Least Favorite, start at the bottom):
  1. Sing a Song of Patrick - 10/10: ♪TWINKLE TWINKLE PATRICK STAR; I MADE MYSELF A SANDWICH; MY MOMMY NAMED IT FRED; IT TASTES LIKE BEANS AND BACON... THIS SONG IS OVER EXCEPT FOR THIS LINE: YOU WIN THIS ROUND, BROCCOLI!!♪ Ok, this may be my favorite, but Spy Buddies is a very close second for me. The song is unironically better than most modern songs in my opinion. The reason this is my favorite is because of its moral of there being people who like your work and others who don't. Not to mention the visual gags and reaction humor here give Something Smells a run for its money. It honestly deserves its divisive reputation in an already very divisive season.
  2. Spy Buddies - 10/10: If you thought this season couldn't be a good one after a botched start with Waiting and Fungus Among Us, this one literally blows everything out of the water. The spy stuff is so awesome here too. What would you do if you could fire a laser out of your butt? Add in comedy on the level seen in Seasons 2 and 3, and you have what is one of the best episodes of not just Season 5, but of the entire series.
  3. Krabs à la Mode - 10/10: This episode is simply fantastic. Coming from a place where it doesn't even snow, I love these types of stories. I probably shouldn't because for those who deal with snow know how much of a pain in neck it is. The creativity, humor and visuals make this episode such a COOL experience. Fun Fact: This episode taught little kid me that there are numbers below zero.
  4. Roller Cowards - 10/10: For those who are terrified of going on roller coasters, this'll definitely encourage you to face that fear. The storyboard directors did their research by taking a trip to Disneyland and putting in elements from that to make Glove World feel more like an authentic theme park. Similar to the trilogy in Season 4, it explores how close Sponge and Pat's friendship is, and there's strong comedy.
  5. Blackened Sponge - 10/10: You know those "If you laugh, you lose" videos on YouTube? Try doing that with this episode. I bet dollars to donuts you'll lose. Seriously, the ways SpongeBob makes up how he got his black eye are so hysterical. I could say more, but it's better if you see for yourself.
  6. SpongeBob vs. The Patty Gadget - 10/10: Here we have a story about man versus machine. It isn't much, but now the theme is very routine. Ok, you know what? I'll stop with the rhyming before you think it's Dr. Seuss who's writing. All that aside, jokes, a great story and a relevant theme for these days make this the best short of the season.
  7. The Battle of Bikini Bottom - 10/10: This is probably the best use of gross-out in this season, and more time is dedicated to the Sponge vs Pat fight than in Snowball Effect. If you were entertained by this, you'll be blown away by a certain episode in Season 6 with a similar premise to this...
  8. The Inmates of Summer - 10/10: Everyone remembers this one because of the warden character. R. Lee Ermey of Full Metal Jacket fame gives a spectacular performance. Still, the episode isn't without its moments. For those who hated the songs in Atlantis SquarePantis, the "Together" song is a breath of fresh air for you.
  9. The Two Faces of Squidward - 9/10: OMG HANDSOME SQUIDWARD WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! Ok, that aside, the rest of the episode is great, and what Breath of Fresh Squidward should have been more like. I don't have much else to say other than I love this episode.
  10. 20,000 Patties Under the Sea - 9/10: The three main formulas of each episode merged into one episode. Strange how we have rarely ever seen submarines as a way of travel in this show. Also, I can't talk about this one without bringing up the scene where Plankton roasts an entire family on an open fire.
  11. Friend or Foe - 9/10: Y'all are probably getting sick of this, but more lore! One of the reasons why it's a 9 instead of a 10 is because I like ten more episodes more than this and it's not without its faults, such as Krabs and Plankton becoming enemies out of nowhere, but it's still a fan favorite that I can't give it a lower rating without being cancelled. Also, first time in the show we see Karen in mobile form.
  12. New Digs - 9/10: Man, this is so relatable. Have you ever wanted to more into your school so you wouldn't be late for your classes? I have, and thankfully that never happened, as it inconveniences those who work there.
  13. Mermaid Man vs SpongeBob - 9/10: Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy are here, and it was only a matter of time before Plankton teamed up with them. Another funny one with the first appearance of Mobile Karen... with arms.
  14. The Krusty Plate - 9/10: SpongeBob vs A Spot that won't come off of a plate. It's simple, yet so funny because of how it escalates.
  15. The Donut of Shame - 9/10: Patrick having a guilty conscience? This is pretty much the inverse of the Pink Purloiner from the previous season, and just like it, it has great jokes that all land.
  16. Pest of the West - 8/10: YEEHAW, more SquarePants family lore! Ok, this western is clichéd to hell and back, but it has its charms and humor.
  17. The Krusty Sponge - 8/10: Aaron Springer, welcome back! Anyway, this is probably the most meta and self-aware the main show has been, and seems like a precursor to those " portrayed by SpongeBob" videos on YouTube.
  18. Slimy Dancing - 8/10: SpongeBob, Patrick and Squidward in a dancing competition. Not much to say here, it funny and engaging. First of two times they show an epilogue, for those who care.
  19. Money Talks - 8/10: Mr. Krabs befriends the concept of capitalism and they want to be spent. Good episode all around, and the Flying Dutchman appearing is always welcome.
  20. Goo Goo Gas - 8/10: This episode is so stupid and written out-of-order, but it's hilarious, so who cares?
  21. The Original Fry Cook - 7/10: More Krusty Krab lore? This one's good, and gives out more life lessons. I like how Squidward had a wig in the flashback. Kinda makes sense now why he didn't laugh at SpongeBob's wig back in Wigstruck.
  22. Bucket Sweet Bucket - 7/10: Hey, Plankton's renovating the Chum Bucket, except no, he's using this to distract the Sponge, Starfish and Octopus while he tries to steal the formula. But there are some funny bits here and there that keep me from losing interest.
  23. Boat Smarts - 7/10: This episode is actually good once you kick the "SqUiDwArD tOrTuRe PoRn" argument into a bottomless pit. I actually see this as a fact that the safest drivers aren't safe, especially from reckless drivers.
  24. Picture Day - 7/10: The only time we see Mrs. Puff's Boating School in the entire season. The whole episode is fine, funny and based on Dani Michaeli's daughter's bad picture day in preschool.
  25. Rise and Shine - 7/10: Ever wanted to know what Patrick's mornings are like? Well, this is it. Pretty funny, too.
  26. To Save a Squirrel - 7/10: Don't let the title fool you, this one's actually about Sponge and Pat trying to eat each other... at least it's entertaining.
  27. Banned in Bikini Bottom - 6/10: More Krusty Krab episodes... *yawn* I like how this is a parody of Prohibition and there are a couple of jokes, but otherwise, it's decent.
  28. Night Light - 6/10: I used to like this one... when I was younger. This isn't bad at all. The last couple of minutes are rather messy, (what is Luke Skywalker of all people doing here?) but it's fine.
  29. Atlantis SquarePantis - 6/10: GODDAMMIT, WASTED POTENTIAL! But seriously, this episode does have a bad reputation among the cartoon community and I can see why, but if it was made as a TV Movie instead of an 11-minute episode without the Nickelodeon executives butting in, most of the problems wouldn't be there. All that said, the story is lackluster, but the visuals are eyecandy, no one acts out of character, some decent comedy is sprinkled in here and there and those, combined with the Patchy segments, make up for the flaws. This simply needed more time in the oven.
  30. Le Big Switch - 6/10: I do like the exchange concept and this is the only time we hear Pearl in this season. I would say see, but she only appears in a phone call. I can't remember anything else.
  31. Stanley S. SquarePants - 6/10: More SquarePants family lore? Cool. Oh, wait he screws up everything. At least there are some jokes. I like how Squidward hightailed out of the episode the instant he saw Stanley. "THERE'S TWO OF THEM?!"
  32. SpongeHenge - 6/10: I am very mixed on this one. I do like the concept, but it could've been funnier.
  33. BlackJack - 6/10: I like seeing more of SpongeBob's family, but why is BlackJack so tiny at the end? Did he get size reduction surgery so he could fit in the prison cells easier?
  34. A Flea in her Dome - 5/10: The only major Sandy episode in the season. Whatever. Some chuckle-worthy bits here and there. A flea giving birth... Uh... I didn't need to see that.
  35. Good Ol' Whatshisname - 5/10: What's it to ya? I don't remember anything from this one.
  36. Breath of Fresh Squidward - 4/10: This isn't how to do a role-reversal story. At least SpongeBob tries to apologize after he makes Squidward leave, and I find Patrick and SpongeBob becoming Squidward at the end stupid but funny. Pat Hearts Squid is a better version of this.
  37. Pat no Pay - 4/10: Patrick screws up tasks after he can't pay for his meal. At least it's short.
  38. Waiting - 4/10: Okay, boring episodes like these aren't that bad because there's less bad material to talk about. SpongeBob = Selfish Asshat, but at least there's a couple of funny bits here and at least Squidward helps him in the end.
  39. To Love a Patty - 3/10: In my opinion, this is the first episode that feels... wrong. And more unpleasant gross-out... and SpongeBob killing clams (I highly doubt one of them was Junior, but I digress). At least there are jokes here and I have an embarrassing secret about this episode I do not wish to share. LMAO
  40. Fungus Among Us - 2/10 (Almost a 3/10): The only thing funny about this episode is its title; Just remove Fungus. Joking aside, while this episode is gross, my main gripe with the episode is that there are barely any jokes, but at least the story barely functions. If I'm being honest, Kwarantined Krab from Season 12 did this concept way better. It doesn't help that this episode led to people assuming that the entire post-movie era is all gross-out.
  41. What Ever Happened to SpongeBob? - 1/10 (Almost a 2/10): The title kinda sums up the episode, huh? The only parts I like are the battle with the Bubble Poppin' Boys (They deserved more screentime), Patrick casually lifting an entire road in one scene and Squidward throwing away his brain at the end. Those aside, the episode's story is so messy. It's too mean-spirited (Squidward and Mr. Krabs aren't as affected by this as much as Patrick and Sandy though) with no emotional buildup which makes the conflict feel unnatural. Also, SpongeBob getting amnesia makes the story fall apart if you think about it, because if he can't remember anything, specifically his friends lashing out at him which was his motive for running away in the first place, and it doesn't change his personality either, so what was the point? At least Sandy, Patrick and Mr. Krabs realize the error of their ways even if it took them reading SpongeBob's note to do so and it isn't the worst thing in the world.
Season Overall - 7/10: This used to be my favorite season as a little kid... But not anymore. The quality feels so turbulent. This season actually feels very different from Season 4, when a lot of people clump that and this season together. It feels more like a transition from the first four seasons to the so-called "dark era" of Seasons 6-9A. That makes more sense because a lot of the problems that plague those seasons started here after a couple of them were mostly laying dormant since Season 2. I still like the season in spite of all its flaws.

Sziasztok!
Hosszú poszt lett, szóval csak a bátraknak.
Befejeztem a szakdolgozatomat és szeretnék egy kicsit reflektálni a kommentekre amiket kaptam a korábbi posztomra, arról hogy milyért olyan az Ügyfélkapu amilyen?
Elsősorban azért írom ezt a posztot, mert szerintem az (e)közigazgatás egy komplex és érdekes téma és tisztázni akarok pár dolgot amik elhangoztak a komment szekcióban az előző poszton. Sötétben mozog a közigazgatás rendszere és csak az foglalkozik vele aki akar vagy aki benne van, pedig mindenkire ráhatással van direkt/indirekt módon, szóval jó lenne tudni, hogy mégis mi folyik ezen a területen. Azok akik meg nincsenek benne, találgatnak, hogy miért olyan amilyen a rendszer. Ezzel a poszttal ezt a gappet akarom bepátyolni egy kicsit és szimplán érdekességként azoknak akiket foglalkoztat ez a téma.
Nyílván egy szakdolgozattól nem leszek szakértő ebben a területben és nem kioktatni szeretnék, de arra pont elég szerintem, hogy reflektálják a kommentekre. Először azokra reflektálnék, amikkel nem értek egyet:
1) Azok a kommentelők akik azt javasolták, hogy keressek másik témát, mivel ez egy 5 perces szakdolgozat lenne meg, hogy nem fogok találni interjú alanyokat jogi bajok miatt meg barátai...
Sikerült találni alanyokat és nem egy 5 perces szakdolgozat lett. Ezt nem azért írom, mert hogy HÁ sikerült nekem annak ellenére amit mondtatok(talán kicsit ezért is :)), hanem inkább azért, mert amikor olvastam ezeket a kommenteket, eléggé elbátortalanítottak attól, hogy ezt a témát válasszam. De örülük, hogy nem úgy tettem, mivel az ügyfélkapu is csak egy kis megnyílvánulása a nagyobb témának ami az (e)közigazgatás ami úgyanúgy egy kis megnyílvánulása a nagyobb témának ami az információs társadalom/digitalizáció globális terjedésének. Maga ez a 3 téma már nagyon sok írni valót tudna produkálni, de ha csak e-közigazgatásra fókuszálunk Mo. kontextusában már az is elegendő egy szakdolgozat íráshoz, mivel:
És akkor itt arra a kommentelőre is kitérnék aki azt írta, hogy egyszerű közgadaságtan és az alul fizetett fejlesztők más cégekhez képest miatt van ott az Ügyfélkapu, ahol van. Ha meg is van a pénz arra, hogy olyan árat fizessenek, mint más cégek, attól még fennállhat az a helyzet, amit az interjú során is elmondott az úr, hogy jogszabály kötelezheti a fejlesztőt arra, hogy szart csináljon és nincs vita benne. Interjú alatt kitértünk arra, hogy a helyzet most változott, hogy nem jogszabályt hoznak először fejlesztésre, hanem a fejlesztők gondolnak ki valamit és arra hoznak jogszabályokat. A kérdés, hogy mennyire lesz effektív így az csak az idő és a nem sokára beköszöntő DÁP (digitális állampolgárság program) - ami lefogja váltani az Ügyfélkaput - fogja megválaszolni.
Moving on, a kommentek amikkel egyet értek:
Van az a szabály, hogy minden szervezet olyan szoftvert fejleszt, amilyen a szervezet. Amíg a szervezetet nem alakítják át, addig ez ilyen lesz.
Ez szerintem az ultimate big igazság itt és amire kitértünk interjú során is. UK-ban 6000 designer dolgozik e-közigazgatással, míg Magyarországon 20-on valamennyi. Ki a tököm tudja értelmezni azt a sok dolgot amit elénk raknak (KAÜSZ, SZEÜSZ meg barátai), másrészről pedig miért is akarjam tudni, hogy mik ezek, miért nem lehetnek egyértelműebbek. A szervezet, - én meggyőződésem szerint nem csak Idomsoft-ból áll, hanem azokból a komponensekből amiket előbb is leírtam (gazdaság, politika, kutatás, jog) - Idomsoft most jutott arra a szintre, hogy realizálja azt hogy user-centric service designt produkájon vagy próbáljon produkálni. És ahhoz designerek kellenek. Ezt már a 90-es években elkezdték mondogatni de mi csak most jutottunk ide. A miért kérdés lehetne egy másik szakdoga, de az egyik probléma amit Pintér Róbert 2004-es disszertációban írt az az hogy az e-közigazgatás témája nem emelkedett felül a pártpolitikán. A kormányváltások azzal jártak, hogy más féle elképzelést implementáltak ahhoz képest amit elképzeltek korábban, ez oda vezetett, hogy időt, pénzt, és emberi tőkét pazaroltak kb a semmire. De ugyebár 2010 óta már csak egy féle párt vezeti az országot, szóval hogy ebben az időben mi történt az nekem még rejtély.
Viszont, szerintem az örömhír, hogy a realizáció az megtörtént. A kérdés megint az, hogy mennyire lesz effektív. Mind NISZ, mind Idomsoftnál nem látok nyitott pozicíókat designer szakmára. Egy van talán ami a product owner vagy valami ilyesmi, de still az nem 6000 hanem +1 designer és még csak nem is teljesen. Nyílván nem napok után lesz nagy változás, de hogy hogyan akarnak majd több deisgnert recruitolni az még kérdéses. Egyik főbb problémája szerintem a közigazgatásnak, hogy nem szexi. Ki a tökömet érdekli a közigazgatás azon belül meg főleg az e-közigazgatás. Hát nem a fiatalokat vagy legalábbis nem magyarországon, mert UK-ban már szexivé vált, mint ahogy Hollandiában és Észtországban is és az egyik challengje Magyarország e-közigazgatásnak, hogy szexivé tegye a területet, nem pedig azt a meggyőzödést, hogy oda 'őskövületek' járnak.
Inkompetens felsővezetés és tök üres a kassza. Nincs mit ezen 30 percig beszélni. A kormány általi influensz meg remélem nem egy komoly kérdés :DD
Átfogó terv nem is létezik a felmerült probléma, feladat megoldására, csak víziók és utasítások vannak. Vezetői pozícióba (nem a projektgazdák) olyan embereket ültetnek többségében, akik azt sem tudják eszik-e vagy isszák az IT-t, de tudják hogy végigverik a "követelményeket".
Azon kívül, hogy nem értek egyet a 'nincs mit ezen beszéni' a szakdoga íráskor sok pont ezt támasztja alá. Inkoherens stratégiák, rossz víziók, inkompetens vezetők, szétszórt rendszer.
Nem feltétlen a legolcsóbb nyer, vagy a legjobb tervet beadó, hanem haver cége, vagy ha versenyeztetés sincs akkor kormányközeli állami / félállami szervek kapják, akiknek se kapacitásuk, (lehet) se szakértelmük nincs hozzá.
Visszakapcsólodik arra, hogy a korrupció hogyan tudja befolyásolni ezeknek a folyamatoknak a kivitelezését.
Összegzésben, remélem aki idáig eljutott annak valami érdekességet tudtam mondani, vagy ha nem akkor bocsi az időpazarlásért :D de szerintem az e-közigazgatás tök érdekes és most már szívem ügye lett az, hogy megértsem Mo helyzetét ebben a térben mert még így sincs meg a teljes kép.
Az interjúm az Idomsoftos munkással, amúgy pozitív töltetű volt és tetszett benne az, hogy valóban (számomra ez jött le) tenni akar egy jobb e-közigazgatásért. Most éppen sok változáson megy keresztül ez a terület elmondása szerint, mind jogi, mind paradigma szintjén ami a user-centric gondolkodást teszi előtérbe, ahelyett, hogy top-down megmondják, hogy mi jó a user-nek. A mostani váltás a DÁP-ra elméletben mind tartalmaznia fogja ezeket a változásokat és hát mi leszünk majd azok akik indirekt módon tudják ezt értékelni, hogy milyen effectivek ezek a változások. Remélem sikerülni fog azért.
