While on death row, Akers demanded his execution and made threats against the judge who sentenced him if it wasn't carried out.
83. Christopher Beck (1995-2001, lethal injection): Out of anger for being fired, Beck invaded the house of his former employer, 52 year old William Miller. He waited for him and his two roommates, 54 year old Florence Marks and 34 year old David Kaplan, to return home and shot and stabbed them all to death. Marks was also raped in the attack. After his release, Zirkle went to his ex girlfriend's home without her permission to visit their daughter, 4 year old Christina. However, the ex girlfriend's other daughter, 14 year old Jessica Shifflett, blocked him from coming inside. He stabbed her to death and kidnapped Christina. He then drove Christina to the George Washington National Forest, slit her throat, and stabbed himself in a failed suicide attempt.
86. Walter Mickens Jr. (~1974-2002, lethal injection): Mickens ambushed and sodomized 17 year old Timothy Hall, and stabbed him 143 times. He stripped the boy of nearly all of his clothing, and left him to die in an abandoned apartment. A long time sexual predator and career criminal, Mickens had several robbery and sodomy convictions dating back to the 70s. One of his previous incidents involved breaking into an elementary school, and coercing a teacher of her purse by threatening the life of a 7 year old student. He also had a conviction for sexually assaulting a cellmate.
87. Aimal Kasi (1993-2002, lethal injection): In his efforts to fight against American foreign policy regarding Islamic nations, Kasi attacked the Langley CIA headquarters with a Type 56 assault rifle. He shot dead 2 CIA employees, 66 year old Lansing Bennett and 28 year old Frank Darling, and wounded 3 others. Kasi then fled to Afghanistan, but was lured into his native Pakistan to be captured in a joint FBI-CIA led operation, and extradited back to the United States to face trial.
88. Earl Bramblett (~1970s(?)-2003, electric chair): Bramblett had molested 11 year old Winter Hodges and feared that her parents, 41 year old William and 37 year old Teresa, were planning on reporting him to the police. In an attempt to prevent that from happening, he attacked the family in their home. Teresa was strangled, while William, Winter, and another daughter, 3 year old Anah, were shot dead. Bramblett then set the house on fire to destroy any evidence of the murders. He had several abuse allegations and was also suspected in the 1977 disappearances of two 14 year old girls, Tammy Akers and Angela Rader, that worked for him, but was never charged for any of them.
89. Bobby Swisher (1997-2003, lethal injection): Swisher abducted 22 year old Dawn Snyder from her flower shop at knife point and raped her. He slashed Snyder's throat and dumped her into a nearby river. Despite managing to swim back to shore, Snyder succumbed to her injuries on the river bank.
90. Brian Cherrix (1994-2004, lethal injection): Cherrix ambushed 23 year old Tessa Van Hart while she was trying to deliver a pizza. He sodomized and shot Van Hart twice in the head, and left the body in her car. The crime was left unsolved until Cherrix was arrested for shooting and wounded his brother two years later. In an attempt to secure leniency, Cherrix disclosed some details of Van Hart's murder, but tried pinning it on a deceased cousin. He only confessed when investigators learned that the cousin couldn't have possibly done it.

He shot all three of the Coles dead and drove away from the scene. Hudson was captured after nearly a day long manhunt.
94. James Reid (1996-2004, lethal injection): Reid stabbed 87 year old Annie Lester 22 times with a pair of scissors, beat her with a can of milk, and strangled her with the cord of a heating pad. He left the body in her bedroom and fled her house. Although the evidence for his guilt was overwhelming (which included the blood on his clothes matched Lester's DNA, several of his fingerprints were discovered on the murder weapons, samples of his saliva were found on a cigarette butt in her house, and his handwriting was identical to the writing of a death threat sent to Lester), Reid's death sentence and execution was contested on the grounds of him allegedly having brain damage from a car accident, seizures, and alcoholism. The motivations behind Lester's murder remain unknown, but prosecutors suspected that it might have been part of a bungled robbery or rape attempt.
95. Dexter Vinson (1997-2006, lethal injection): Vinson attacked his ex girlfriend, 25 year old Angela Felton, near her home. Felton tried to escape by driving away, but he rammed her car with his, and forced her inside it. She was then dragged into a vacant house, raped, beaten, and stabbed in the face, neck, arms, buttocks, stomach, and vagina. The body was left in the house as Vinson fled the scene.
96. Brandon Hedrick (1997-2006, electric chair): Hendrick kidnapped a sex worker, 23 year old Lisa Crider, while he was cruising for prostitutes. Initially, Crider and Hendrick had engaged in paid consensual relations, but the situation turned violent when he robbed her of $50 at gunpoint. She was then raped, shot in the face, and dumped into a river.
97. Michael Lenz (~1990s-2006, lethal injection): While serving 29 years for a burglary and weapons possession conviction, Lenz stabbed a fellow inmate, 41 year old Brent Parker, to death. Both were part of a Nordic Neopaganism sect, and the killing was committed over Parker allegedly not expressing enough devotion to their deities. Parker was serving a life sentence for killing a friend during a drunken rage at the time of his own murder.
98. John Schmitt (1999-2006, lethal injection): During a holdup of a bank, Schmitt shot and killed the guard, 39 year old Shelton Dunning, and took $35,000 from the vaults.
99. Kevin Green (1998-2008, lethal injection): Green and his teenage nephew stormed a convenience store, and forced the owners, 68 year old Lawrence Vaughan and his wife, 53 year old Patricia, to hand over $9,000 in cash. They then shot the couple, killing Patricia and wounding Lawrence.
100. Robert Yarbrough (1997-2008, lethal injection): Yarbrough and his accomplice tied up 77 year old Cyril Hamby while robbing his grocery store. They subjected Hamby to beatings and nearly decapitated him with a pocket knife. The pair then stole beer, wine, cigarettes, and an undisclosed amount of money.
101. Kent Jackson (2000-2008, lethal injection): Jackson and an accomplice attacked 79 year old Beulah Kaiser in her apartment, and raped her. 102. Christopher Emmett (2001-2008, lethal injection): Emmett was staying at a motel room with a coworker, 43 year old John Langley, while they were working on an out of town roofing job. The pair played cards until Langley went to bed. As he slept, Emmett bludgeoned him to death with a lamp, and stole $100 from his wallet. He used the stolen money to buy crack cocaine.
103. Edward Bell (~1990s-2008, lethal injection): While running away from officers trying to arrest him for a parole violation, Bell shot and killed one of his pursers, 32 year old Sergeant Ricky Timbrook. Bell had a long criminal record, which included several felony and misdemeanor convictions of assault, burglary, carrying conceal weapons, and was found to have stolen a car during the investigations of Timbrook's murder.
104. John Muhammad (~1999-2008, lethal injection): The so called “D.C. Sniper”, Muhammad shot and killed 17 random people between the ages of 21-76 with the help of a teenage accomplice in mostly sniper attacks. The killings took place in the national capital, hence the epithet, and across several states. Due to his affiliation with the Nation of Islam and the accomplice’s accounts of planning terrorist attacks and training camps, Muhammad’s murder spree are often considered to be acts of Islamic extremism in the media. However, experts believe that his real intentions was to kill his estranged wife using the sniper attacks as a mask. Muhammad had a long history of domestic violence, and had abducted his children from his estranged wife on numerous occasions. His accomplice had also accused him of sexual abuse a few years after his execution.
105. Larry Elliott (2001-2008, electric chair): Elliott, a former military counterintelligence agent, was in an online "sugar daddy" relationship with a much younger woman. The woman was also involved with a bitter custody dispute with her children's father, 30 year old Robert Finch. In an attempt to win the woman's devotion, Elliott shot and killed Finch in his home, and beat Finch's girlfriend, 25 year old Dana Thrall, to death with the butt of his gun.
106. Paul Powell (1999-2010, electric chair): Angry that his friend, 16 year old Stacie Reed, was in an interracial relationship, Powell made an attempt to rape her in her home. When she fought back, Powell stabbed her to death. He also tied up Stacie's 14 year old sister to be raped, stabbed, and strangled, and left the girl to die in the family's basement. The sister managed to survive with the timely arrival of their stepfather, who called the police and the paramedics to the scene. On the mistaken belief that the death penalty was off the table, Powell sent letters flaunting the lewd details of the murder to taunt the prosecutors, judge, and the victims’ family.
107. Darick Walker (~1996-2010, lethal injection): In 1996, Walker walked up to the door of 36 year old Stanley Beale, and angrily accused him of showing up at his home despite the fact that they were complete strangers. He then shot Beale dead in front of his children and girlfriend, and ran away from the scene. A year later, Walker forced himself into an apartment, and shot 34 year old Clarence Threat seven times while he was laying in bed with his girlfriend. Walker had a history of violence and frequently stole from his friends and family. In one reported incident, he kicked the stomach of a pregnant woman in an act of rage.
108. Teresa Lewis (2002-2010, lethal injection): Lewis conspired with two men that she had a sexual relationship with to kill her husband, 51 year old Julian, and her stepson, 25 year old Charles. Charles was about to be deployed to participate in the then upcoming invasion of Iraq, which gave him a $250,000 life insurance policy that Lewis wanted to collect from both him and his father. She let her accomplices inside their trailer, and shot Julian and Charles while they were sleeping. Charles was killed immediately, while Julian, who witnessed Lewis pay the attackers, survived long enough to notify the responders of his wife's involvement.
109. Jerry Jackson (2001-2011, lethal injection): Jackson broke into the apartment of 88 year old Ruth Phillips, and woke her up while he was rummaging through her room. Despite Phillips' pleas for her life, Jackson raped her and suffocated her to death with a pillow. He stole her car and a total of $60 in the break in, and spent the stolen money on marijuana.
110. Robert Gleason (2007+(?)-2013, electric chair): In 2007, Gleason shot and killed 54 year old Michael Jamerson, in order to prevent him from testifying about his drug trafficking activities, and was given a life sentence for the murder. While incarcerated, he tied up and strangled his cellmate, 63 year old Harvey Watson (who serving a life sentence for a mass shooting). Prison officials then transferred him to a high security prison to await trial for Watson’s murder, but he managed to strangle another inmate, 26 year old Aaron Cooper (who was serving 34 years for robbery), to death with the wire that separated their cages. Gleason demanded the death penalty, which was given to him by the courts. He also claimed that he committed several other killings before Jamerson, but his additional confessions currently remain unverifiable.
111. Alfredo Prieto (~1984-2015, lethal injection): Prieto was both a serial killer of young women and a member of the Pomona Northside street gang. His sexual crimes involved the abductions, rapes, and shooting deaths of at least 4 females, 24 year old Tina Jefferson, 22 year old Rachael Raver, 19 year old Stacey Siegrist, and 15 year old Yvette Woodruff. Raver and Siegrist’s partners, 22 year old Warren Fulton III and 21 year old Anthony Gianuzzi, were also murdered during their kidnappings. In the home invasion that killed Woodruff, Prieto and his fellow gang members also abducted her 17 year old friend and the friend’s 33 year old mother. The mother and daughter pair were gang-raped, shot and stabbed together, but they managed to escape with their lives. Prieto was sentenced to death in both California and Virginia, but stayed in California’s San Quentin until his death warrant was signed in Virginia. He had also shot and injured 3 gang members over his suspicions of them sleeping with his wife, but was lightly sentenced due to the victims' gang affiliations.
112. Ricky Gray (~2005-2017, lethal injection): Gray and his similarly aged nephew murdered at least 9 people, which composed of a lone woman, 35 year old Treva Gray, and two entire families, the Harveys (consisting of parents, 49 year old Bryan and 39 year old Kathryn, and their daughters, 9 year old Stella and 4 year old Ruby), and the Baskerville-Tuckers (consisting of 21 year old Ashley, her 46 year old mother Mary, and Mary’s 55 year old husband Percyell) in a week long burglary spree. Almost all of the victims were tied up and gagged in their homes, and beaten to death with hammers or had their throats slit. Before she was killed by them with her parents, victim Ashley Baskerville had assisted Gray and his nephew in several of their robberies. The pair stole any items and valuables they could carry, and were reported to have taken money, computers, television sets, wedding rings, and even cookies. They were also linked to several non fatal assaults, one of which involved a 26 year old man being beaten into a coma.
113. William Morva (~2005-2017, lethal injection): Morva, a son of Hungarian immigrants, and an accomplice were arrested while trying rob a grocery store at gunpoint. While awaiting trial, he badly sprained his ankle and wrist in prison, and was transferred to the Montgomery Regional Hospital for treatment. He overpowered a deputy guarding him with a metal toilet-paper container, stole his gun, fatally shot Derrick McFarland, a 25 year old hospital security guard, and escaped. Morva then fled to Virginia Tech’s campus, and shot and killed 40 year old Eric Sutphin, one of the police officers chasing him.

What if Nathan Hale appeared in PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale or a Spiritual Successor? (Costumes, Moveset, Intro Animations, Win Animations, Potential Supers, Taunts and Potential Story)
A while ago I posted my pitch for if one of Resistance's main protagonists, Nathan Hale appeared in PlayStation All Stars or a Spiritual Successor. I was happy with the results on that post but I wasn't fond of the image quality as well as the costumes being mediocre (mainly the FoM Army Ranger costume). So without a further ado I present to you my ideas.
This has been something I have been thinking of for a while and it's what if the Sony crossover 'PlayStation All Stars' featured a Resistance Character as a playable character.
Resistance was featured in PlayStation All Stars with Resistance 2's San Francisco appearing as a Stage, a Chimera Hybrid as a Minion (The Player's Cheerleader of sorts), Resistance 3's Satan appeared as the Stage Hazard in Ape Escape's Time Station Stage and the Hedgehog Grenade appeared as an Item.

The PSASBR Beta did feature a Chimeran Hybrid on the Character Select screen, but I assume it was cut for unknown reasons. However, I believe that Hale would have been a good fit due to his incredible feats shown in Fall of Man and Resistance 2.
Chimera Hybrid in the middle between Cole MacGrath and Warhawk's Eucadian Solider
I developed three costumes for Nathan Hale with four colour schemes for each costume.
-Lieutenant of Echo Squad (Default Costume)
-Army Ranger (Unlockable Costume)
-SRPA Black Ops Operative (DLC Costume)
The References featured here were used due to being tied to Resistance i.e., Dutch (R2's Chameleon was inspired by the Predator), Chimeran Hybrid/Daedalus (Enemies of the Resistance Series), Rachel ParkeStephen Cartwright (Supporting Characters in Resistance Fall of Man/Voice Appearances in Resistance 3), others were to pay tribute to different media that I'm fond of i.e., Deep Fear, Iron Man's Comic Run, The Predator & Vanquish and the use of the Red Cross was to reflect upon Resistance's Alternate History feel. Additionally, I wanted to use the UMvC3 approach where some colours referenced something i.e., Frank West 5th costume being inspired by Dead Rising 2's Chuck Greene, his 2nd costume being inspired by a glass of wine, his 3rd costume being inspired by Scarface's Frank (I assume it's relevant due to them sharing the same name), etc.,

Additionally, I was brainstorming different intros that Hale could have.
  1. Fall of Man: A Chimeran Skull is seen on the floor amongst some rumble (akin to Fall of Man's Boxart). Suddenly, a boot is seen crushing it into pieces as the camera quickly pans up to reveal that it was Hale as he is seen reloading his Bullseye. This intro is a nice homage to the scene in Terminator 2 where the T1000 is seen crushing the human skull. Original Reference: https://c.tenor.com/_-R9XLxqJPUAAAAd/tenor.gif
  2. Resistance is Futile: Hale is seen with his hands on a kitchen table as Henry Stillman (The Radio Presenter heard throughout Resistance 2 & Resistance Burning Skies) states to his listeners that 'Resistance is Futile' which leads to Hale switching the Radio off and preparing for battle. This intro is a homage to a scene within Resistance 2's reveal trailer. Original Reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=bOladSUhSgQ (1:13-1:16)
  3. Operation Deliverance: Hale simply jumping out of a VTOL based on the opening cutscene from Resistance Fall of Man. Original Reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cLZZFMpBcZM (0:10-0:13)
  4. Is it worth it?: Hale is seen holding a Frag Grenade contemplating S****** but then puts the Frag Grenade away and prepares for battle based on the ending to Fall of Man (thanks to Scottdevcats on Twitch for this idea)
Hale's moveset would be very creative (It is Insomniac Games who are known for making creative guns) as Resistance features human weaponry like an Axe/Sledgehammer, the Carbine (rifle) + The Bayonet expansion Resistance 3 would make for a great close quarters attack, Rossmore (shotgun), the Mutator (a gun that made from a strain of the Chimeran virus that can cause enemies to vomit/mutate), etc., as well as unique Chimeran weaponry such as the Bullseye (a gun that can that can tag an enemy and follow their every move), Auger (a gun that can create a shield to deflect enemy fire and allows Hale to fire the Auger's shots from behind the shield), the Cyrogun (a gun that can freeze enemies), the Atomizer (a gun that electrify enemies and summon a swirling electrical vortex), the Reapers (dual pistols that fire energy beams) and many more. Moreover, add Hale's telekinesis seen in Resistance 2's finale and you have a diverse moveset on your hands.
I'm aware that weapons like the Cryogun, Mutator, Atomizer and Axe/Sledgehammer appeared in Resistance 3/Burning Skies (games Hale didn't appear in). But I think it wouldn't matter i.e., UMvC3's Frank (based on his Dead Rising 1 appearance) using Dead Rising 2 Weaponry in his moveset.
I think Hale's supers have potential in a fighting game.
His Level 1 could be one of these three.
  1. Chameleon Slash: Hale hears the sudden movement and quickly evades as the Chameleon uncloaks itself. If the opponents are nearby they will be eliminated by the Chameleon's Slash (credit for this Idea goes to TheBreadmanRiseth)
Resistance 2's Chameleon
  1. Ion Burst: Hale equips FoM's Arc Charger and blasts any opponents nearby
Arc Charger from Resistance Fall of Man (Usually wielded by the Hardfang)
  1. Homing Tag: Hale equips the iconic Bullseye as he can tag any opponent from nearby or afar once tagged an array of bullets will fire towards the target (would work similar to Isaac Clarke's level 1 as crosshairs appear on screen allowing Hale to target anyone)
Bullseye weapon from all games except for Resistance Retribution
Bullseye Tagging an enemy in Resistance 3
Hale's Level 2 could be one of these three
  1. Spire Strike: Based on Fall of Man's Spire Missile (A Chimeran Bioweapon that infects anyone nearby with the Chimeran Virus) falling onto the map while Hale dodges it but infects nearby opponents (basically Toro & Emmett’s level 2)
  2. The Swarm/Flyswatter: This could go two ways (I can't decide which would work best)
Resistance 2's Swarm
  • The Swarm appear in front of Hale as they flow in a straight line throughout the map eliminating opponents in the process until they reach the generator where Hale equips the Pulse Cannon to eliminate the swarm as well as any nearby opponents near the blast/generator (basically the Murder of Crows item as a super or Radec’s Level 2)
  • The Swarm could be playable for a short amount of time and can fly all over the map while Hale is in the generator (just to explain why they won’t go for him) devouring all opponents in their path until Hale shoots them with a Pulse Cannon once the time runs out (a nice call-back to Jill Valentine’s Hyper Zombie Summon [Code T-002] and Rocket Launcher Finish in Marvel vs Capcom 2). I know the Swarm have to be in the generator to be defeated but I don't think it'll matter for a game like this I mean Infamous's Cole is able to swim underwater in Big Daddy's Level 3 super
  1. Mother Spinner: Similar to the Swarm Idea this could go two ways
Resistance 2's Mother Spinner
  • Hale will say "what an ugly mother..." and is then replaced by the Mother Spinner boss who lets out a loud roar as well as being playable for a short amount of time. She can summon leapers, spit acid and using her claws as a melee to eliminate opponents (basically Ratchet’s level 2 where he can swap with Clank who has access to the Chronoseptor as well as Time Bombs). I'm aware that this wouldn't make sense but I think Hale disappearing for a short amount of time could be an good solution.
  • Hale would again say "what an ugly mother..." as the Mother Spinner lets out a loud roar afterwards leading to Hale being chased around by the creature as she tries to chase him across the map using her various attacks but instead ends up damaging the opponents in her path. If Hale is damaged he will be stunned for a short time (Basically Heihachi's Level 2 but Hale can be hurt).
Hale's Level 3 would be revolve around his telekinetic powers from Resistance 2's finale as he is able to run around the stage and blast all the enemies in his path.
Infected Hale (Taken from Darren Duach's Resistance 2 portfolio)
I think Nathan Hale's Story could be set during the events of Resistance 2 (around the Lousiana section) where the Chimeran Infection is taking its toll on Hale, and he doesn’t have long to live. It also doesn’t help that Daedalus can telepathically communicate with him trying to persuade him to reject humanity and embrace the Chimeran invasion. SRPA &/or Dr Malikov inform Hale that an unknown powerful source (Polygon Man) is out there which could aid SRPA in defeating Daedalus and maybe the Chimeran Invasion as a whole (I haven’t really planned this out so too much so no rival or ending. Hale’s story could go anywhere from there).
Lastly, I was thinking of taunts that Hale could have.
Is that all you got: Hale simply spits on the ground and says, “Is that all you got?” Original Reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SvYwU2qNz7E at 34:02
Project Abrham: Hale looks at an old photo of Project Abraham of him and the other SRPA Super Soldiers and puts it back in his pocket (based on the opening animation of FoM where Hale looks at the photo before leaving to fight + a nod to the Resistance Prequel Project Abraham).
Daedalus: Hale suddenly hears Daedalus telepathically communicating to him as he says “They are calling to us. Can you hear them? It’s beautiful”, “Traitor! You fight for a race that’ll only betray you” or “You must be free of them” Hale then shakes his head once the line is over.
Thanks for reading.
It was quite long to write this but I'm happy with this final result as it nice to get these Ideas typed up rather than swirling in my thoughts. As previously mentioned, it's a shame that Resistance wasn't represented on PSASBR's roster as I feel that Superbot/Sony Santa Monica could have done something creative especially with Resistance's creative weaponry. If PlayStation All Stars receives a sequel or a spiritual successor than Hale (maybe James Grayson as a clone fighter?) or even Daedalus with a Chimeran Death Squad would be the best option (A YouTuber named MiZta Zombie made a video titled 'Analyzing The Perfect PlayStation All-Stars Sequel Roster' and at 32:50 he explains that Daedalus would fight like Smash's Pokémon Trainer who can summon various Chimera to battle for him and can change the type at will. Daedalus can aid his soliders on the battlefield by using his telekinetic attacks he used during his Resistance 2 Boss Battle).
It also sucks that the series isn't mentioned by Sony outside of Insomniac posting throwback pictures regarding the series on their social media. But, at least the members of the Resistance Reddit are keeping the series alive :)
As a bonus here are the rejected alternate colour schemes for Hale that I didn't end up using.
Army Ranger colours here are just a basic Hue/Saturation change. While, the two white Lieutenant of Echo Squad costumes were alternate takes of a white inspired uniform (I wasn't fond of the results) and the Black design was going to be used but was rejected for being too boring and was replaced with the Dutch inspired colour scheme.
Considered adding this alt costume to the Army Ranger set (resembles the Russian flag due to the Chimera invading Russia first aka The Tunguska Event). However, I used the Red Cross inspired colour scheme instead.
I hope you enjoyed this post and take care :)

2024.04.28 00:24 Leather_Focus_6535 The currently 73 inmates executed by Alabama and their crimes since the 1970s (warning, graphic content, please read at your own risk)

Here is the list of the currently 73 inmates executed by the state of Alabama that I wrote for my post Furman death penalty project. Alabama has set plans to carry out additional executions in the next few months, and this list might be reposted with the updated information if they happen as scheduled.
Something that should also be clarified is the dates given here are an approximate timeline of their earliest known criminal activities to their executions rather then time spent on death row. Many of the cases here are quite graphic by nature, and I don't shy away from it in my descriptions. Please read at your own risk.
The states I have left are Georgia, Florida, Missouri, Virginia, Oklahoma, and the still in progress Texas. I'll probably post my list for Georgia next whenever I have time next week.
The currently executed 73 offenders:
1. John Evans III (~1976+-1983, electric chair): A year after Evans was paroled, he and another ex convict, Wayne Ritter, went on a two month long crime spree that involved 30 armed robberies, 9 kidnappings, and 2 extortion incidents. Their rampage ended when they shot dead 34 year old Edward Nassar in front of his daughters while robbing his pawn shop. Evans' execution was controversial, as it took 24 minutes and three pulls of the switch to electrocute him. Any information on his crimes before his 1977 spree is unavailable to me.
2. Arthur Jones (1981-1986, electric chair): Jones gunned down Vaughn Thompson, a 21 year old storekeeper, and William Waymon, a 72 year old cab driver, in two robberies.
3. Wayne Ritter (1976-1986, electric chair): Ritter was the accomplice of the above mentioned John Evans. After being released from prison, he assisted him in several robberies, abductions, and the murder of Edward Nassar. Like Evans, Ritter's earlier criminal history wasn't disclosed in the sources on hand.
4. Michael Lindsey (1981-1989, electric chair): Lindsey broke in the home of 64 year old Rosemary Rutland. After tying her up, he shot and stabbed Rutland to death, and stole her Christmas presents.
5. Horace Dunkins Jr. (1980-1989, electric chair): Dunkins abducted 26 year old Lynn McCurry, bound her to a tree, and raped her. He stabbed McCurry 66 times, and left her body on the tree she was tied to. His execution was a source of controversy, as Dunkins was allegedly cognitively disabled.
6. Herbert Richardson (1977-1989, electric chair): Richardson threw a pipe bomb into the home of one of his ex girlfriend's family members in retaliation for her breaking up with him. Her niece, 11 year old Rena Callins, was killed in the attack.
7. Arthur Julius (1972-1989, electric chair): In 1972, Julius beat his boss, 74 year old Herbert Chisenhall, to death during an argument over his wages. He was given a life sentence, but was able to leave custody in 1978 on a one day release. Julius took advantage of his leave to rape his cousin, 29 year old Susie Sanders, in her home. She was strangled to death during the assault.
8. Wallace Thomas (1976-1990, electric chair): Thomas and a partner abducted 21 year old Quenette Shehane from a convenience store. She was raped, robbed, and shot to death.
9. Larry Heath (1981-1992, electric chair): Out of a desire to marry another woman, Heath orchestrated the kidnapping of his 21 year old wife Rebecca (who was 9 months pregnant with their child) with the help of some men he hired. She was abducted from their home and shot in the head.
10. Cornelius Singleton (~1972-1992, electric chair): Singleton was condemned for the robbery of a Catholic monastery that ended with the fatal strangulation of a nun, 51 year old Ann Hogan. His execution was hotly contested by his lawyers and supporters, who have alleged misconduct in the trial and investigation. Despite the controversy, Hogan's stolen watch was found in Singleton's possession. Singleton was previously convicted for a 1972 incident involving arson and burglary.
11. Willie Clisby Jr. (1979-1995, electric chair): Clisby broke into the home of 58 year old Fletcher Handley, beat him to death with an ax handle, and left with $80 in hand.
12. Varnell Weeks (1981-1995, electric chair): Weeks abducted and carjacked 24 year old Mark Batts. He bound Batts, placed a pillowcase on his head, and shot him through it. While driving Batts' stolen car in Ohio, he was flagged down by police officers, and Weeks fired on them in the confrontation. In the shootout, Weeks was captured without any causalities to the responding officers. His execution was controversial, as his lawyers claimed that he was a paranoid schizophrenic.
13. Edward Horsley Jr. (~1976-1996, electric chair): After escaping from prison with Brian Baldwin, Horsley abducted 16 year old Naomi Rolon while she was hitchhiking. Horsley raped and dismembered Rolon with an ax, and ran her body over. Although Horlsey's culpability is an overwhelming certainty, the extent of Baldwin's alleged involvement is a significant source of contention. Horsley was previously convicted of a string of robberies that ended up with a non-fatal shooting of a police officer.
14. Billy Waldrop (1982-1997, electric chair): Waldrop snuck into the home of 72 year old Thurman Donahoo and shot him in the head. He then stole $130 and a 5-carat diamond ring. To destroy any evidence of his crime, Waldrop burned the house down, and fled to California. While in hiding, he was detained by the local law enforcement for a DUI and extradited back to Alabama to face trial.
15. Walter Hill (~1952-1997, electric chair): As a teenager in the early 50s, Hill beat Sam Atmore (age unknown) to death. He was given a 10 year sentence for that murder, and took part in an escape attempt that was temporarily successful because of the watchman's negligence. After his release, Hill became a career criminal and was involved with several abduction robberies, and wound up in a cycle of repeatedly being in and out of prison. During one of his incarcerations, Hill stabbed an unidentified inmate to death, but was cleared of any charges on the grounds of self defense. In 1977, Hill started an illicit "relationship" with a 13 year old girl, and sought the permission of her stepmother, 60 year old Willie Hammock, to marry but she refused. Out of anger, Hill shot Hammock, her 34 year old daughter Lois Tatum, and Lois' 36 year old husband John dead in their home, and abducted the girl and her 16 year old adopted brother. The brother managed to escape, but Hill kidnapped a motorist he encountered in Georgia. The man escaped captivity in North Carolina, and reported Hill and the abducted girl to the local police.
16. Henry Hays (1981-1997, electric chair): Hays was a member of a local Ku Klux Klan chapter, and the son of one of the most prominent KKK leaders in Alabama. In the area, the sentencing of a black man, who was accused of murdering a white policeman, kept on getting delayed due to a string of mistrials. Hays and other members of the KKK chapter interpreted it as a sign that blacks will be able to get away with murdering whites, and sought revenge by lynching a black person at random. The unfortunate victim was 19 year old Michael Donald, who was abducted while walking home from a gas station. Donald was beaten with a tree stump, strangled with a rope, and his throat slit by Hays and his fellow Klansmen. His body was hung on a nearby tree.
17. Steven Thompson (1984-1998, electric chair): Thompson abducted 25 year old Robin Balarzs, a friend's fiancee, from her home. After he tied up and gagged her, Thompson raped Balarz and penetrated her with a knife, shaved her head, and dragged her to death with his car over a distance of 3,000 feet. He stole Balarz's wedding ring and a dollar from her purse, and sexually mutilated her body.
18. Brian Baldwin (~1977-1998, electric chair): Baldwin was the accused accomplice of the above mentioned Edward Horsley, and allegedly helped him with the sex murder of Naomi Rolon after they escaped from prison together. As mentioned in Horsley's section, Baldwin's involvement with Rolon's killing remains hotly contested to this day, and he and his supporters alleged that he was set up by institutionalized racism and tortured into confessing by investigating police officers. He was previously in prison for stealing a car.
19. Victor Kennedy (~1980-1999, electric chair): Kennedy, a career burglar, and an accomplice, Darrell Grayson, broke into the home of 86 year old Annie Orr to search for money. They bound, beat, raped, and suffocated her with a pillow case. When they failed to find any money, Kennedy and Grayson left the residence empty handed.
20. David Duren (1983-2000, electric chair): Duren and an accomplice kidnapped 16 year old Kathleen Bedsole and her date, 17 year old Charles Leonard, and stole $20 that was given to them by Bedsole's father. The couple were tied together, and locked in the trunk for several hours. When Duren stoped his car, he shot both of the teenagers. Bedsole was killed, while Leonard managed to survive and escape.
21. Freddie Wright (1977-2000, electric chair): Wright was convicted of robbing a store owned by couple, 40 year old Warren and 37 year old Lois Green, with 3 other men. The Greens were tied together, dragged into a backroom, and shot to death. Their watches and $900 were stolen in the robbery. His execution was controversial, as his attorneys and supporters push that he was convicted both out of racism and the participants allegedly naming him to avoid death sentences.
22. Robert Tarver Jr. (1984-2000, electric chair): Tarver fatally shot 63 year old Hugh Kite, while he and an accomplice were robbing him outside of his store. Kite was just done closing his store when he was attacked, and had $80 taken from him.
23. Pernell Ford (1983-2000, electric chair): Ford forced himself into the home that 70 year old Willie Griffin shared with her 42 year old daughter Linda. He stabbed both of them to death after a struggle. Several undisclosed items were stolen from the Griffin home, and Ford used their car to flee to Illinois.
24. Lynda Block (1992-2002, electric chair): Block, her common law husband, George Sibley, and her 9 year old son were sitting in car that was parked in a Walmart parking lot. A passerby was concerned by Block's son apparently looking distressed, and reported them to the police. When a police officer, 38 year old Roger Motley, came to question them, Block and Sibley shot him to death. The couple was previously involved in assaulting and stabbing Block's ex husband in a dispute over their home, a crime they were on the run from at the time of Motley's murder.
25. Anthony Johnson (1984-2002, lethal injection): While Johnson and two unidentified men were robbing a jewelry store, they engaged in a gun-battle with the owner, 51 year Kenneth Cattrell, and killed him. Although Johnson's wasn't directly responsible for Cattrell's death and only acted as a lookout, he was the only member of the gang to be captured, and thus bore the brunt of the judicial retributions when he refused to testify against them.
26. Michael Thompson (1984-2003, lethal injection): During a nighttime convenience store robbery, Thompson kidnapped the clerk, 57 year old Maisie Gray. Thompson forced Gray into his car, drove her to a well, and tossed her inside it. He then shot a trapped Gray to death with his married girlfriend holding a torch for him. His girlfriend had a longstanding record for armed robberies, and Thompson's defense tried to use the argument that she goaded him into the killing or did it herself.
27. Gary Brown (1996-2003, lethal injection): Brown and a few other men went to the home of Jack McGraw, a 59 year old Korean War veteran, to "party." On numerous previous occasions, McGraw had paid them for sex acts. They planned on robbing McGraw's house after he passed out drunk, but he refused to drink as he had work the next morning. Undeterred, Brown and his accomplices attacked McGraw, and stabbed him a combined total of 78 times. More specifically, McGraw's back was stabbed 59 times, his throat and neck were slashed 16 times, and he had 3 cut wounds on his head. The group then stole $67 and a VCR set from his home.
28. Thomas Fortenberry (1984-2004, lethal injection): Fortenberry fatally shot four people, 51 year old Wilbur Nelson, 43 year old Robert Payne, Robert's 29 year old wife Nancy, and 21 year old Ronald Guest, while attempting to rob a gas station.
29. James Hubbard (~1957-2004, lethal injection): In 1957, Hubbard shot and killed 28 year old Carl Dockery in what was described as a "domestic disturbance." He was paroled in 1976 with the help of 62 year old Lillian Montgomery, a woman he befriended behind bars. Hubbard repaid the favor by shooting and killing her while robbing a store she owned in the following year. He stole $500 and her diamond watch, and tried to stage Montgomery's death as a suicide despite the fact that he shot her in the face, head, and shoulder.
30. David Hocker (1998-2004, lethal injection): Hocker was living in a motel and didn't have a car at hand. Thus, he asked his boss, 47 year old Jerry Robinson, to drive him around for an errand. When they were in the car together, Hocker stabbed Robinson to death, stole his credit card, and withdrew $400 from it to buy cocaine. Hocker had an extensive criminal history, but the specifics weren't given in my sources.
31. Mario Centobie (1995-2005, lethal injection): Centobie and another prisoner escaped from a Georgia prison during his 40 year sentence for the double kidnappings of his ex wife and son. They fled to Alabama, and were pulled over by local policemen. Centobie opened fire on them and killed Keith Turner, a 29 year old officer, and wounded another. The pair were recaptured in Georgia near the home of Centobie's ex wife. While awaiting trial, Centobie yet again escaped by seducing a guard, but was quickly recaptured.
32. Jerry Henderson (1984-2005, lethal injection): On his sister-in-law's payroll, Henderson lured her husband, 33 year Jerry Haney, outside of his house and shot him dead.
33. George Sibley Jr. (1992-2005, lethal injection): Sibley was the common law husband of the above mentioned Lynda Block, and assisted her in the killing of officer Roger Motley. He also took part in the assault of her ex husband.
34. John Peoples Jr. (1983-2005, lethal injection): Enraged that 34 year old Paul Franklin refused to sell him his car that he coveted, Peoples broke into his home, and beat him to death with a rifle. Peoples stole the car and abducted Paul's wife, 34 year old Judy, and their 10 year old son John. They were also beaten to death with Peoples' rifle.
35. Larry Hutcherson (1992-2006, lethal injection): Hutcherson broke into the home of 89 year old Irma Gray, and slit her throat. He stole her air conditioner and microwave in the robbery.
36. Aaron Jones (1978-2006, lethal injection): After being fired by them, Jones and his partner invaded the home of their former employers, 61 year old Carl and 45 year old Williene Nelson. They shot Carl and Willene dead and chopped their bodies into several pieces. The pair also shot their 3 children, 21 year old Tony, 13 year old Brenda, and 10 year old Charlie, and Carl's mother, 85 year old Annie, but they all managed to survive their injuries.
37. Darrell Grayson (1980-2007, lethal injection): Grayson was the accomplice of the previously mentioned Victor Kennedy, and partook in the rape and murder of Annie Orr and the burglary of her home.
38. Luther Williams (1988-2007, lethal injection): While John Kirk, a 63 year old WW2 veteran, was driving home from work, his truck broke down. He was found and abducted by Williams and 2 other men, and shot to death by them. The trio then stole money from Kirk's body and his truck.
39. James Callahan (1982-2009, lethal injection): Callahan kidnapped 26 year old Becky Howell, while she was walking from a club her fiance was performing to switch laundry that she left at a laundromat. Howell was raped and strangled to death.
40. Danny Bradley (1983-2009, lethal injection): When his wife was hospitalized, Bradley was left to care for his stepdaughter, 12 year old Rhonda Hardin, and his stepson. After he put his stepson to bed, Bradley sodomized Hardin and choked her to death with his bare hands.
41. Jimmy Dill (~1983-2009, lethal injection) Dill shot his dealer, 33 year old Leon Shaw, in the head during a deal gone bad, and stole $200 and a few bags of cocaine. Shaw was left comatose and died of his injuries 9 months later. Dill had an extensive criminal record for theft and drug possession.
42. Willie McNair (1990-2009, lethal injection): McNair and an accomplice went to the home of his occasional employer, 68 year old Ella Riley, to ask for some money. When Riley declined to give them any, McNair tricked her into letting him inside by asking for a drink of water. After walking in, he stabbed Riley in the neck and strangled her to death. The pair then fled with her purse.
43. Jack Trawick (~1972-2009, lethal injection): Trawick was convicted or credibly confessed to a minimum of 3 murders. His verified victims consist of 27 year old Aileen Pruitt, 21 year old Stephanie Gach, and 17 year old Betty Richards. In his known murders, he forcibly abducted his victims from public locations, and raped and tortured them. They were then stabbed and beaten to death with a hammer. Trawick bragged in graphic details about committing other murders on a website made for death row inmates, which he also used to taunt the victims' families. However, investigations into the alleged additional killings brought no results, and are now believed to have been fictionalized by Trawick for clout.
44. Max Payne (1992-2009, lethal injection): Payne robbed a store at gunpoint, and kidnapped the owner, 58 year old Braxton Brown. He took Brown to his sister's house and tried forcing him into giving them money. When his sister objected, Payne dragged Brown to a bridge, shot him in the head, and dumped his body in the nearby creek. A total of $1,085 in cash and many of Brown's belongings were stolen, which included bank deposit checks, rings, cigarettes, food stamps, and a handgun.
45. Thomas Whisenhant (~1963-2010, lethal injection): At the age of 16, Whisenhant fatally shot 72 year old Lexie Haynes in one incident and robbed an unidentified blind woman in another. For uknown reasons, the charges were dropped against him, and he was able to join the air force. A few years later, he assaulted Rose Covington, a 22 year old WAF servicewoman, with an ashtray, and was discharged and sentenced to 20 years of hard labor for the attack. Whisenhant was granted parole in 1972. Another couple years later, he went on a crime spree, and abducted 3 women that worked in convenience stores he robbed. His victims, 44 year old Venora Hyatt, 28 year old Patricia Hitt, and 23 year old Cheryl Payton, were all raped and shot in the head.
46. John Parker (1988-2010, lethal injection): Parker and his accomplice Kenneth Smith was hired to kill 42 year old Elizabeth Sennett, by her husband, who wanted to use her life insurance policy to fund his ministering. Her husband was also Parker's landlord. The pair tricked Sennett into letting them inside the house by pretending to be hunters inquiring about for a hunting spot, and stabbed her to death. Sennett's husband then gave Parker and Smith their stereo and video cassette recorders to make it look like a robbery.
47. Michael Land (~1990-2010, lethal injection): Land kidnapped 30 year old Candace Brown from her apartment after he cut her telephone line. He raped Brown, shot her in the head, and stole her purse. Land had prior convictions of burglaries and receiving stolen goods, and previously met Brown in prison when she ministered to him.
48. Holly Wood (~1981-2010, lethal injection): In 1994, Wood shot his ex girlfriend, 34 year old Ruby Gosha, at point blank range in front of her children at her mother's home. He had also (non-fatally) shot another ex girlfriend from outside her bedroom window several years before Gosha's murder. His criminal history was extensive, and had 18 different felonies on his record. Some of the charges pertained to incidents of assault.
49. Phillip Hallford (~1978-2010, lethal injection): Hallford was jealousy enraged that his 15 year old daughter, whom he had been sexually abusing since she was 7, was dating 16 year old Charles Shannon. He forced her to lure Shannon to a bridge, gunned him down, and stole his wallet. With the coerced help of his stepson, Hallford dumped Shannon's body into a river. As a memento, Hallford forced his daughter to wear a necklace with the shell casing used in the murder.
50. Leroy White (1988-2011, lethal injection): White shot his estranged wife, 35 year old Ruby, dead while she was visiting her sister out of anger at their upcoming divorce. Ruby's sister was wounded in the shooting. White had also previously shot and injured Ruby's leg during an argument.
51. William Boyd (1986-2011, lethal injection): Boyd and a partner broke into the home of married couple, 76 year old Fred and 41 year old Evelyn Blackmon, and duped them into thinking that Evelyn's daughter (whom Boyd previously dated against her mother's wishes) was kidnapped. They made the couple believe that they had to pay a $3,000 ransom for her safe return. The couple were then both tied up, forcibly separated into their captors' cars, and beaten and shot to death.
52. Jason Williams (1992-2011, lethal injection): Under the influence of cocaine, Williams shot his roommate, 46 year old Gerald Paravicini dead in the trailer they shared. William then walked over to his neighbors, the Barber family (consisting of parents, 50 year old Freddie and 45 year old Linda, and their sons, 22 year old Bryan and 16 year old Brad) and intruded into their home. He shot and killed Freddie, Linda, and Bryan, and wounded Brad. Cash and credit cards were taken and Williams fled in the family van.
53. Eddie Powell III (~1990s-2011, lethal injection): Powell broke into the home of 70 year old Mattie Wesson, and repeatedly sexually assaulted her. Wesson was beaten and shot in the attack, but she managed to drag herself to a neighbor's house for help before she succumbed to her injuries. Powell had several previous convictions for burglary, theft, and assault.
54. Derrick Mason (1994-2011, lethal injection): Mason held up a convenience store, and forced the clerk, 25 year old Angela Cagle to turn off the cameras and undress. However, he shot Cagle in the head before any assault could occur. He then tried to open the register, but ran off when he failed to open it.
55. Christopher Johnson (2005-2011, lethal injection): To avoid paying child support and to spite his estranged wife, Johnson smothered his 6 month old son Eilas with his fingers, and struck him in the head.
56. Andrew Lackey (2005-2013, lethal injection): After being told about the existence of a vault inside the home of Charles Newman, a 80 year old WW2 veteran, by Newman's grandson, Lackey decided to steal it from him. He invaded Newman's house, and shot and stabbed him 70 times in the ensuring confrontation. Despite Lackey waiving his appeals and actively petitioning for his own execution, his death sentence attracted controversy due to him being diagnosed with Asperger's.
57. Christopher Brooks (1992-2016, lethal injection): Brooks snuck into the apartment of 23 year old Jo Campbell. He sexually assaulted Campbell in her bedroom, and bludgeoned her to death with a barbell. Several items, including a credit card, were stolen from the scene.
58. Ronald Smith Jr. (1994-2016, lethal injection): Smith and some accomplices robbed a convenience store, and fatally shot the clerk, 26 year old Casey Wilson. According to Smith's attorneys, Smith and Wilson were allegedly involved in a love triangle with a local stripper. If such accounts are to be believed, he shot him dead in a dispute over her, and Smith staged it as a robbery to avoid embarrassing his parents. However, the stripper strongly denied having any connections with both men. His execution sparked controversy, as witnesses reported him coughing and heaving for 13 minutes during it.
59. Thomas Arthur (1982-2017, lethal injection): Arthur's married girlfriend hired him to kill her husband, 35 year old Troy Wicker, for his insurance policy. He gunned down Wicker while he was sleeping in his bedroom. To mislead investigators, Wicker's wife claimed that an intruder broke into her home, shot her husband dead, and raped her.
60. Robert Melson (1994-2017, lethal injection): Melson and his partner held up a Popeyes store at gunpoint. They rounded up the employees, 23 year old Darrell Collier, 18 year old Tamika Collins, 17 year old Nathaniel Baker, and 17 year Bryant Archer, into a freezer, and shot them. Archer was the sole survivor, and identified Melson's accomplice, a former employee, to the police. Although Melson's accomplice was initially given a life sentence due to him being a minor at the time, he was later also sentenced to death for killing a cellmate, and is currently awaiting execution.
61. Torrey McNabb (1997-2017, lethal injection): McNabb skipped bail when he was facing charges for receiving stolen property and drug possession. He was tracked down by a bondsman sent to bring him back to court, but he shot at him when he appeared at his doorsteps. The bondsman then called the police for support. One of the responding officers, 30 year old Anderson Gordon, was killed in the standoff with McNabb.
62. Michael Eggers (2000-2018, lethal injection): Eggers and his ex employer, 67 year old Bennie Murray, were in talks about him returning to his former job at her carnival. While Murray was driving Eggers and his 15 year old son, they got into an argument. During the fight, Murray slapped Eggers, which enraged him. He beat and choked her with his hands until she went unconscious, and tossed Murray out of her car. Eggers continued to beat and kick Murray, and crushed her throat with a tree branch. After she was killed, Eggers stole money from Murray's purse, and drove away in her car.
63. Walter Moody (~1972-2018, lethal injection): In 1972, Moody was building a bomb to kill an auto dealer that repossessed his car. However, the bomb exploded prematurely, and critically injured Moody's then wife instead. Although Moody was cleared of charges relating to the construction of the bomb, he was still convicted of it being in his possession. His appeals were thrown away, which gave him a resentment against the justice system. After Moody was released from prison, he murdered a federal judge, 58 year old Robert Vance, and a civil rights attorney, 42 year old Robbie Robinson, and injured Vance's wife, in two separate bombings. To disguise his attacks, Moody sent bombs and hate letters to various NAACP targets.
64. Domineque Ray (1992-2019, lethal injection): Ray shot and killed two brothers, 18 year old Ernest and 13 year old Reinhard Mabins, for refusing to join his gang. In the following year, Ray and his gang members kidnapped 15 year old Tiffany Harville from her home and raped her. Her throat was slit and she was dumped in a remote cotton field.
65. Michael Samra (1997-2019, lethal injection): During an argument over a pick up truck, Samra and his teenage friend shot and killed his friend's father, 39 year old Randy Duke, and step mother, 29 year old Dedra Hunt. The pair also slit the throats of Dedra's two children, 7 year old Chelsea and 6 year old Chelisa.
66. Christopher Price (~1990-2019, lethal injection): Price invaded the home of Bill Lynn, a 57 year old pastor, while he was busy wrapping Christmas presents for his grandchildren. He stabbed Bill 30 times with a sword and injured his wife Bessie when they confronted him. Despite being only 19 at the time, Price had an extensive criminal history that involved trespassing, auto theft, and "criminal mischief."
67. Nathaniel Woods (~2004-2020, lethal injection): A squad of 4 police officers, 58 year old Carlos Owen, 40 year old Harley Chisholm III, 37 year old Michael Collins, and 33 year old Charles Bennett, were searching a drug house that Woods, a long time dealer, had been operating in. As they were arresting Woods, one of his associates opened fire on them and killed Chisholm, Bennett, and Owen. Collins was wounded, but managed to flee to safety. Wood's execution was extremely controversial, as he wasn't the triggerman in the shootings. His supporters and the shooter himself claimed that he was an entirely innocent party, while the prosecutors pushed that he deliberately lured the officers to their deaths.
68. Willie Smith III (1991-2021, lethal injection): Smith kidnapped 22 year old Sharma Johnson at gunpoint near a bank, and forced her to withdraw $80 from an ATM machine. He locked Johnson in the trunk of her own car, and shot her dead while she was trapped in it. The car was then burned to destroy the evidence.
69. Matthew Reeves (1996-2022, lethal injection): Reeves and two other men pretended to be hitchhikers on a remote highway as a ruse to lure motorists. The target they ensnared was 38 year old Willie Johnson Jr. They robbed Johnson of $360 when he stopped to pick them up, and Reeves shot him to death with a shotgun. Reeves then attended a party reportedly still covered with Johnson's blood, and celebrated by pretending to pump the gun and mockingly mimicked his death throes to the other guests.
70. Joe James Jr. (1993-2022, lethal injection): James tracked down his ex girlfriend, 26 year old Faith Hill, at her friend's apartment. She was in the company of her children, her friend, and her friend's children. The friend shielded the children from James with her body, while Hill tried desperately to calm him down. Despite her efforts, she was shot dead. His execution sparked controversy for it taking over 3 hours to complete, and caused the state of Alabama to delay executions until 2023. James was previously arrested and reported several times for harassing Hill's family, which included an incident of him burglarizing her grandmother's home.
71. James Barber (2001-2023, lethal injection): Barber assaulted 75 year old Dorothy Epps, who was both his ex girlfriend's mother and a former employer, with a claw hammer in her home. Despite her efforts at fighting him off, Epps was beaten to death, and Barber stole her purse.
72. Casey McWhorter (1993-2023, lethal injection): McWhorter conspired with a 15 year old friend and a 16 year old friend to kill 34 year old Edward Williams, the father of the 15 year old. The group tried to force Williams to had over a safe, but he tried to fight back. They shot him a total of 11 times with a .22 rifle equipped with a makeshift silencer in his home and took his truck, wallet, and an undisclosed amount of money. The stolen truck was destroyed in order to sell the parts for scrap metal.
73. Kenneth Smith (1988-2024, nitrogen hypoxia): Smith assisted John Parker in the contract killing of Elizabeth Sennett on the behalf of her husband. His case attracted controversy when he survived a botched execution in 2022, and received international attention for being the first inmate in history to be executed with the controversially experimental nitrogen hypoxia method.

2024.04.27 23:20 Independent_Jacket_5 What if Nathan Hale appeared in PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale or a Spirtual Successor? (Costumes, Moveset, Intro Animations)

What if Nathan Hale appeared in PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale or a Spirtual Successor? (Costumes, Moveset, Intro Animations)
San Francisco Stage
Resistance 3's Satan invading Ape Escape's Time Station
The PSASBR Beta did feature a Chimeran Hybrid on the Character Select stage, but I assume it was cut for unknown reasons.
  1. Lieutenant of Echo Squad
  1. Army Ranger
  1. SRPA Black Ops Operative
Additionally, I wanted to use the UMvC3 approach where some colours referenced something i.e., Frank West 5th costume being inspired by Dead Rising 2's Chuck Greene, his 2nd costume being inspired by a glass of wine, his 3rd costume being inspired by Scarface's Frank (I assume it's relevant due to them sharing the same name), etc.,
I am happy with the results here. However, I do feel that some colours look a bit off but I did the best I could.

SRPA Black Ops Operative
Lastly, Hale's moveset would be very creative (It is Insomniac Games who are known for making creative guns) as Resistance features human weaponry like an Axe/Sledgehammer, the Carbine (rifle), Rossmore (shotgun), the Mutator (a gun that made from a strain of the Chimeran virus that can cause enemies to vomit/mutate), etc., as well as unique Chimeran weaponry such as the Bullseye (a gun that can that can tag an enemy and follow their every move), Auger (a gun that can create a shield to deflect enemy fire and allows Hale to fire the Auger's shots from behind the shield), the Cyrogun (a gun that can freeze enemies), the Atomizer (a gun that electrify enemies and summon a swirling electrical vortex), the Reapers (dual pistols that fire energy beams) and many more.
But what do you guys think? Would Hale be a good fit or would a Chimeran Death Squad be better to rep Resistance in a PlayStation Crossover fighter? What would your ideas be?
Please feel free to let me know.
Thanks for checking out my post :)
This is an Upgraded version of a post I made on Reddit a while ago but wasn't happy with the Colour edits so released it here.

2024.04.27 15:56 Arceroth Returned Protector ch4

“This is the nearest major settlement to the rift,” Nallia said as she and the rest of the first lance stepped off the cutter almost before it had settled, “there’s something called a ‘golf course’ southwest of here where the main rift appeared.”
Orlan simply nodded, no changes to the plan were needed. The second cutter with the second lance of his knights was already headed that direction. There were a couple small mountains between the town and the rift, so the main host of monsters hadn’t appeared yet. Being humanoid the monsters tended to stay in groups, ranging from a few members to a couple dozen from what they’d seen so far. Several of such groups had already been cut down by the knights as they spread out through the town, but over all there were too few monsters. A single rift could contain hundreds or even thousands of monsters, most emerged from the main rift with the rest being scattered over a two to three mile radius from there. But it had taken them nearly an hour to arrive at the small town of Jefferson, more than enough time to travel from the rift to the town by foot.
The terrain was rough, but there were plenty of roads for them to follow. There was another large town some distance to the south, but surely the monsters would prioritize the closest concentration of people, that’s how they always worked. A few would scatter about wreaking havoc, even becoming just another part of the wilderness, but most should be headed here.
There was one thing that could have stopped them, an alpha monster. Something that could exert some level of control over the hoard. A humanoid alpha was bad, if true, as alphas were both more powerful and more intelligent than their lesser kin.
Orlan shook that thought from his head, reaching out and pulling his short, bladed spear from his personal space. The weapon sung for blood as he stepped through space, appearing a street over, another step brought him directly before a group of three of the monsters. And these ones truly earned that title, they were vaguely reminiscent of large, bipedal ants, with insectoid limbs and a hard chitin that covered their entire bodies. Their heads had the large, sharp mandibles, oversized compound eyes and long antenna that would be expected, but between the mandibles was a forest of what looks disturbingly like human fingers. Seeming to take the place of both lips and teeth, judging from the razor-sharp nails each ended in, they wiggled unnervingly constantly.
Each hand was similarly replaced with a mess of fingers, but that didn’t seem to impair their ability to carry weapons. As if things couldn’t be any worse, every one of them was armed with a short sword or spear, all made of bronze if Orlan was any guess. They were low tier three, high tier two, making them far above any normal human. But Orlan was another level higher, he seemed to flow through their attacks like water while his spear lashed out like lightning to cut through bronze, chitin and flesh alike. In a handful of seconds the monsters were all dead, and Orlan vanished in another step before the last of them could even hit the ground.
He tore four such packs apart before a faint buzzing in the back of his mind indicated an incoming message.
“Yes?” Orlan asked, rift stepping onto a building so he could scout out the surroundings.
“Second lance has run into a problem,” Lailra’s voice said in his mind, “They weren’t able to land near the rift, the monsters seem to be swarming around it, protecting it.”
“Damnit, an alpha,” he cursed.
“That was my guess,” she agreed, “doesn’t seem to have emerged yet, but most of the swarm is waiting for it.”
“They look like ants, a queen?” Orlan offered.
“Hopefully, ant queens are large but not exactly built for combat,” she replied, “I’m worried she’ll have a royal guard though, would fit with their appearance.”
Orlan simply nodded, while monsters were odd beings, they tended to follow natural roles. If a monster looked like a wolf, it would likely hunt in packs. It wasn’t perfect, monsters tended to have bits and pieces from multiple creatures or things that didn’t match up with anything on Earth, but it was a good guess.
“Worst case would be a princess,” Nallia added, “she’ll still have the royal guard, but her body won’t have changed to focus on reproduction yet.”
“Tell the second lance-,” he paused as a pair of fighters screamed by overhead, “tell them to stay away from the main swarm, focus on containment.”
He felt her agreement before the connection snapped, this looked like it was going to get difficult.
-----
Long gouts of fire erupted from the ground as the bombs dropped by two fighters struck the ground, covering several holes of the golf course in a raging inferno. The napalm covered hundreds of the bug monsters who cried out in rage and pain. For nearly a minute the flames burned before the napalm ran out, leaving scattered brush and trees aflame. The ground was covered in ash and blackened bodies of the strange ant monsters, and for a long moment all was still save the crackling of the random secondary fires. But soon one of the heavily burned ants began to move, pushing itself to its feet, burned chitin flaking from its body like dust. Then another began to move, and another, and soon most of the monsters were standing once more. They were covered in burns, their carapaces cracked in multiple places from the heat, they struggled to breath as the spiracles along their sides were scorched.
Barely a third of the monsters had succumb to the flames, the rest were injured, but still alive. A circling recon plane reported in, shock evident in their voices, but the imagery they sent back was undeniable. More conventional bombs weren’t any more effective, they’d learned earlier. While the blasts were enough to dismember and kill a handful of the humanoid ants, the shrapnel was largely ineffective, bouncing off their exoskeleton.
To the south multiple national guard groups, the ones that had been fastest to respond, were hunkered down behind their Humvees. They’d only encountered scattered groups of the beasts, yet had been forced to stop when a couple ripped a tree from beside the road and threw it at the lead vehicle. Now the rest were pouring fire into the ants from behind cover. The rifles proving to be less that effective, even armor piercing rounds failed to penetrate the chitin. Direct hits to the eyes could still kill, and there were gaps in their carapaces around the joints where the rounds could do some damage, but largely the weapons did little to the monsters. The only reason they hadn’t been overrun was due to the heavy .50 cal machine gun mounted atop each of the vehicles. After several of these rift events the army made sure that some heavier weapons were available to the national guard, and it was proving effective. The heavy rounds broke limbs and cracked armor from their sheer power, it still took a couple seconds of directed fire to ensure a kill.
A couple of the men had shotguns that, at close range, delivered enough force to force the ants back even if it couldn’t kill them reliably. But they couldn’t kill the monsters as fast as they arrived, and it was only a matter of time before they were overrun. Considering the beasts could run fast enough to keep pace with the Humvees over short distances, running wasn’t an option.
They had all but resigned themselves to death when three warrior women seemed to drop out of the sky. The largest of them wielding a massive steel axe with enough strength that the ants were more blown apart than cut to pieces. The second woman carried a pair of shorter axes, moving with such speed the soldiers could barely keep track of her. The final woman carried a massive shepard’s crook that glowed with an eerie light, phantasmal beasts sprung into existence around her with each swing of the crook, biting through the monsters with supernatural strength only to fade away moments later.
The soldiers could only watch in shock as the women tore through the small hoard that had gathered around them, though whether their shock was due to the power on display or the fact that the large woman was laughing as she fought was anyone’s guess. Despite their strength the fight wasn’t entirely one sided, bronze weapons struck the berserker, many of them encountering seemingly transparent armor as they did, but some did manage to draw blood. The woman only laughed harder as she was injured, ignoring the pain.
A minute later, all three women were covered in blood, most of which wasn’t theirs, the two axe wielders letting out screams of anger as they sprinted north looking for more prey. The woman with the crook paused to apologize to the soldiers in a soft voice before running after her companions.

Orlan had been fighting for nearly an hour when he got the call in that the rift had collapsed, meaning the alpha had come through. The town of Jefferson looked like it had been bombed, which wasn’t completely inaccurate as the air force refused to give up on dropping ordinance. It seemed they figured that, even if the bombs were of limited effectiveness there was no risk to the plan.
“All the remaining monsters are retreating towards the ‘golf’ place,” Nallia reported from next to him, “looks like the alpha is calling them back.”
“Damnit, hoped we had more time,” Orlan grumbled, “first lance with me, we’re going to sweep south down the valley, second lance is to remain on the south end of the rift zone. Casters with heavy area spells stay back and regenerate mana, we’re going to need you when we hit the main hoard.”
A chorus of agreements answered him as they set off. Protector Lords and their knights were uniquely suited to fighting beast rifts, as even a strong fifth sphere warrior would have struggled to fight at full strength for this long. But with the bonus regeneration provided by the anchorheart, even tempered by distance, Orlan was still going strong. It didn’t hurt that his combat style largely revolved around the inherent abilities granted by his spheres, rather than spells which weren’t as mana efficient. Anyone could learn spells, given they were had enough spheres and the right attunements, but inherent abilities were unique to everyone.
He and the dozen members of the first lance swept south like a wind of death, culling any monster they found. Even those who weren’t immediately killed weren’t safe, as one of Lailra’s inherent abilities caused her spells to infect those they injured with a terrifying rot. Being sixth sphere herself, a single scratch was often enough to kill these monsters. Being a higher sphere than her Protector Lord meant she didn’t get full benefit of the bond, but by restricting herself to lower tier spells and making liberal use of rot ability had preserved her mana.
Nallia focused more on intelligence gathering, using her light magic to illuminate the world, as she put it. Alia was the defensive magic user, her winds rebuffing anything that got too close. After long years of fighting together the group almost seemed like they could read each other’s thoughts. While many of them had a telepathic message spell they didn’t need it to fight as one.
In less than fifteen minutes they’d covered the mile from the town to the golf course, leaving a scattered trail of dead monsters in their wake. But, as they looked down from a ridge top to the mass of ants below, they realized they had barely scratched the surface of the swarm.
“Look,” Nallia said, holding her hand up to display an image to the others, one of her inherent abilities was far light, allowing her to see things at a distance so long as she had line of sight. By modifying an illusion spell she could display what she saw, and what she saw made Orlan scowl.
In the middle of the hoard, near where the center of the rift had once stood, were four ant creatures that stood far over the smaller monsters. Unlike the main swarm, these four had six limbs arranged in a centauroid fashion, with the four rear serving as legs, while the front two were used as arms. They each wore heavy bronze plate over their upright torso and something that resembled barding over their rear half. Each carried a massive bronze shield in one hand and a long spear in the other.
The four stood in a circle, facing outward, as if watching for threats, and they were the first to react when the distant scream of a jet engine could be heard. Acting as one they raised their shields and moved to cover each other, clearly intending to defend against the incoming fighters. But another odd looking ant had a different idea. The image projected by Nallia showed as another ant monster, larger than the normal ones but smaller than the four massive beasts, pushed aside one of their shields and held out her hand. The Protector Knights went silent as a spell formed in the air before the dozen wiggling fingers that made up her hand.
Spears of earth rose from the ground around her and rocketed into the air as the jets cleared the mountain. Without any time to react the spears tore the jets apart, ripping through the metal like it was paper. Only one pilot managed to eject, the other looking like it was hit directly in the cockpit, and both jets slammed into the ground at the base of the mountain moments later.
“A Princess,” Orlan said slowly, “and one that can use magic, great.”
“She’s forth sphere equivalent as well,” Nallia added, “though I estimate her magic abilities are only second sphere.”
“The those four monsters around her are the royal guard,” Lailra finished, then looked at Orlan with a smile, “been a while since we’ve been pushed like this.”

When I first came across the Denix Replicas 1067 1853 Civil War Enfield Rifle, its authentic design and historical significance piqued my interest. As a history enthusiast, I was excited to have this replica in my possession. The craftsmanship of the wooden and metal construction was impressive, capturing the essence of the era. However, my excitement soon turned into a slight disappointment when I realized that the rifle was just for decoration and didn't shoot.
Despite this minor setback, the replica's ability to transport me back in time and provide me with a tangible connection to history was a positive aspect. The attention to detail and the dedication to preserving its historical significance made the Enfield Rifle a worthwhile addition to my collection. It's a great conversation starter and a visually stunning piece to display in any room.
Nonetheless, I can understand how some collectors might be put off by the fact that the rifle is non-functional. While it doesn't impact the overall design and quality of the product, it may be a deciding factor for those looking for a functional replica. Overall, the Denix Replicas 1853 Civil War Enfield Rifle is an accurate and visually stunning representation of a bygone era, making it a valuable addition for any history enthusiast's collection.

🔗Authentic Tubular Magazine Lever-Action Repeating Rifle Replica - Non-Firing

I've had the opportunity to use the M1866 Lever-Action Repeating Rifle myself, and I have to say, it's a real piece of history. The gun has such a powerful presence, it demands attention wherever you put it up. The gray finish certainly adds an antique touch, and the wooden stock is both sturdy and aesthetically pleasing.
One of my favorite aspects of this replica is the lever-action mechanism. It works just like the original, giving you a feel of the Old West right in your own home. And even though it's a non-firing version, it perfectly demonstrates how the loading system works.
However, there's one thing I would change. At 38 3/4 inches, it's quite a large piece to handle. Despite its grandeur, it can feel a bit unwieldy at times. But overall, this M1866 is a remarkable replica that captures the essence of the legend.

🔗Denix 1860 Henry Repeating Rifle Brass Finish Frame

https://preview.redd.it/6dkzs0trzywc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4145b520e71a0b6263c9bb9204671a187fe810c1
The Denix 1030L Old West Lever Action with a brass finish frame is a captivating replica of the Henry Repeating Rifle, a revolutionary design from the Civil War era. Standing at an impressive 42.5 inches long, this rifle has its original tubular magazine system and 24-inch octagonal barrel that once held 15 rounds of. 44 caliber metal cartridges.
The brass finish frame adds an authentic touch to this historical weapon and offers a robust feel when held. However, one must remember that although it looks and feels the part, it lacks the necessary components for actual firepower.
It serves as a striking conversation piece or a nostalgic reminder of the Old West, but it comes with its own set of challenges as well. Overall, the Denix 1030L offers a blend of history, aesthetics, and a bit of a learning curve for enthusiasts who appreciate the craftsmanship of the past.

🔗Authentic StG 44 Assault Rifle Replica for Collectors and Reenactments

Imagine owning a piece of history when you hold this stunning replica of the Denix 1125 StG 44 Assault Rifle. The attention to detail in this rifle is remarkable, from the wooden stock to the solid metal construction, all of which gives it that realistic weight and feel.
The ejecting magazine and functional trigger and bolt mechanism create an authentic experience. You can even attach a shoulder sling on the cut-out in the stock! .
In a world of theatrics and reenactments, this perfectly recreated weapon stands out. Whether you're a collector seeking a museum-grade piece or someone interested in historical replicas, this Denix replica is your go-to choice.
Its quality and historical significance are unmatched.

🔗Accurate M16A1 Non-Firing Airsoft Gun Replica

As an airsoft enthusiast, I've had the chance to try out the Denix 1133 M16A1 Rifle Replica. It's a solid piece of equipment, reminiscent of the iconic military rifle used back in the 60s to the 80s.
One thing that immediately caught my attention was its attention to detail - it honestly feels like a real weapon with its working mechanisms. However, one downside that I've noticed is that it's non-firing, which might be a disappointment for some who are looking for a more interactive experience. Overall, though, it has been a great addition to my airsoft collection, and I look forward to using it more in upcoming games.

🔗Non-Firing Winchester Lever-Action Reproducible Rifle

https://preview.redd.it/1mut5i1tzywc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8304f9e5cb95be515b39396d5c3d8b2ea0ff5eb0
Recently, I had the opportunity to try out this replica Winchester 1873 rifle. As someone who appreciates the craftsmanship that goes into these reproductions, I was pleasantly surprised by the detail and weight of this piece. Holding it, you can feel the authenticity of the design, with its engraved silver finish and octagonal barrel that harkens back to a time when guns were crafted with precision.
However, one thing that stood out in my experience was the non-functioning mechanism. As a replica, it's expected that you can't actually fire it, but I was a bit disappointed that you couldn't simulate the loading process either. Other than that, I think it's an excellent addition to any collection, be it for aesthetic purposes or for use in photoshoots or performances. It certainly adds a touch of authenticity to any setting, and with its sturdy construction, it will likely last quite a while.

🔗Realistic 370 Toy Rifle with Metal and Plastic Construction

https://preview.redd.it/qpk0geftzywc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8f27f3594ebec9519b1ba4b51bd3d28b9368f954
As a curious kid, I always seemed to gravitate towards toy rifles, much to my parents' chagrin. So, when I heard about the Parris Mfg. Co. Li'l Ranger Toy Rifle, I was intrigued. I expected the usual flimsy toy, but was pleasantly surprised by its metal and plastic build. The working latch was a nice touch, adding an extra element of realism to the toy.
As a bonus, it even came with a sling for easy carry. However, it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows. The plastic rings, while compatible, were sold separately, making the initial purchase a bit more expensive than anticipated. Additionally, the toy started showing signs of wear and tear quite quickly, with parts becoming loose and eventually breaking.
Overall, the Li'l Ranger Toy Rifle was a fun and engaging toy for my younger self, but it didn't quite stand up to the test of time. While it had its moments, the durability and value for money were certainly areas for improvement.

🔗Authentic Civil War 370 Rifle Replica for Collectors

https://preview.redd.it/3vbhfnstzywc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ec328f993e2a522d6ecf39e93aa3748d7690ad74
The Parris Civil War Musket is a historically accurate replica, boasting an authentic wooden and metal construction. As a collector's item and a theatrical prop, it's a unique find for anyone interested in Civil War history or who simply wants an exciting addition to their collection.
The musket's one-piece wooden stock and metal and plastic parts give it a solid feel, making it not only a fantastic display piece but also a great option for young enthusiasts to play with. It's truly remarkable how closely it resembles the originals from the era, a testament to the craftsmanship that went into its creation.
Now, there are a few things to consider with this musket. The size might be intimidating for some, especially when it comes to handling it or storing it in smaller spaces. However, its sturdy build ensures it can withstand some wear and tear, which is a plus.
Overall, the Parris Civil War Musket is a terrific purchase for history buffs, theatregoers, or anyone looking for a unique and captivating Civil War-era toy.

🔗Old West Winchester 1892 Cowboy Rifle Replica

When I purchased the DX1069 Denix Rifle Replica, I couldn't wait to add it to my collection. Modeled after the iconic Winchester that starred John Wayne in the film, this replica has the timeless charm of the old west.
Upon receiving the item, I was impressed by its craftsmanship and attention to detail. The die-cast zinc body paired with the wooden stock really brought the rifle to life. However, what initially caught my eye was the functional long lever, a staple feature in many western films. While it can't be fired, it does manage to give the collectible that extra touch.
Unfortunately, it wasn't all smooth sailing. The replica is quite fragile, which is disappointing for the price point. I was particularly cautious with holding the item, as I didn't want to risk damaging it further when trying to actuate the lever.
My biggest concern was the barrel, which unfortunately wobbled and came off easily from the receiver. I had to use glue to keep it in place permanently, which was far from ideal. Despite these challenges, the rifle still looks great and serves as a beautiful addition to my collection.
In conclusion, the DX1069 Denix Rifle Replica is an eye-catching collectible that brings a nostalgic flair to any room. However, it's important to handle the item with care due to its fragile nature.

🔗Authentic 18th Century Kentucky Rifle Replica for Outdoor Enthusiasts

https://preview.redd.it/bre3yyruzywc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=354cf99259348df2114ed657bec5286bcf7c485e
I was able to get my hands on the Denix 1138 Kentucky Rifle Replica, and let me tell you, it's a beauty. With its historical accuracy and intricate details, it really takes you back to the late 1700s.
The shorter version makes it perfect for my home, and it's quite impressive how far off the shot would have been without the "rifled" bore design! . However, I wish it could come with some additional safety features, as some of the moving parts are quite sensitive and may be accident-prone. Nonetheless, the Denix 1138 Kentucky Rifle Replica is definitely a standout for any history enthusiast or collector.

🔗Colonial Replica 1807 French Flintlock Rifle

https://preview.redd.it/5r8qz67vzywc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5746f7e3c766d09e59da6785d031b5602a07e8ca
When I first laid eyes on the Denix Colonial Replica 1807 French Non Firing Gun, I couldn't help but be impressed. The intricate engraving on the woodwork and metal furniture really made it stand out. It's a great addition to any collection, whether you're into history or just looking for a unique piece to display.
The weight and feel of the rifle are authentic, making it perfect for props or even as a showpiece. However, I did notice that the dimensions might be slightly off for some collectors. Despite this minor issue, the overall quality of the Denix Colonial Replica 1807 French Non Firing Gun is top-notch, and it certainly lives up to its reputation as one of the best replica flintlock rifles out there.

Buyer's Guide

Welcome to the buyer's guide for 7.62 x51 rifles. In this section, we'll cover important features, considerations, and general advice you should know before purchasing a 7.62 x51 rifle.

What is a 7.62 x51 rifle?

The 7.62 x51 mm NATO is a high-velocity, intermediate cartridge used in infantry small arms. It is a widely used cartridge by various countries for their military and law enforcement branches. The rifle is commonly utilized for medium-range target shooting and hunting applications, as it offers a balance between accuracy, range, and stopping power.

https://preview.redd.it/cajsey5yzywc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e297808da265af6d305a41c0f474d994b1546f3c

Material and Construction

When choosing a 7.62 x51 rifle, consider the material and construction. Most rifles have a wood or polymer stock, and a barrel made of chrome-molybdenum steel. The construction should be sturdy and durable, with a consistent finish to minimize rust and corrosion.

Action Type

7.62 x51 rifles can be found in various action types, including bolt-action, semi-automatic, and lever-action. Bolt-action rifles provide accuracy but require manual operation after each shot. Semi-automatic and lever-action rifles provide faster shooting and continuous firing, although they may sacrifice some accuracy.

Barrel Length

Barrel length plays a significant role in rifle performance. Longer barrels provide better accuracy, velocity, and range but may add weight. Shorter barrels offer portability and ease of handling but may sacrifice some accuracy and velocity. Consider your shooting needs and preferences when selecting a barrel length.

https://preview.redd.it/ta1wt3q20zwc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2122a9d77fe20c2feabd7f45a4dae7f6b4094591

Accessories and Upgrades

Enhancing your 7.62 x51 rifle can be done through various accessories and upgrades. Optics such as scopes or red-dot sights can improve your aim, and a sling can provide comfort during long shooting sessions. Consider upgrading your trigger, muzzle brake, or stock for improved performance and personalization.

Maintenance and Care

Regular maintenance and care are essential for the longevity and performance of your 7.62 x51 rifle. Clean your rifle after each use to prevent rust and corrosion, and store it in a secure, dry place. Perform regular inspections and replace components as needed.

Final Thoughts

When purchasing a 7.62 x51 rifle, consider factors such as material and construction, action type, barrel length, accessories, upgrades, and maintenance requirements. Choose a rifle that meets your shooting needs, preferences, and budget. Remember, proper maintenance and care will ensure your rifle provides optimal performance for years to come.

What is the difference between a 7.62 x51 and a. 308 Winchester?

How accurate are 7.62 x51 rifles?

It's always a good idea to consult with a knowledgeable retailer for personalized recommendations.

How can I ensure the longevity of my 7.62 x51 rifle?

To ensure your rifle's longevity, regularly clean and maintain it, replace worn parts, and store it properly when not in use. Additionally, consider using high-quality bullets, powders, and lubricants to reduce wear and keep your rifle performing at its best.

2024.04.25 01:34 dsoll65 My trench gun reproduction

My trench gun reproduction
Found an old Stevens 520A at the Louisville gunshow a few months ago. My son noticed the guy walking around with it and he only wanted $100 so I gladly gave him that. It had a long barrel with the adjustable choke and a cracked loose buttock with no buttplate. Very worn with a great old patina.
I looked all over for a heatshield. There was one at the show for $800, so that was right out. Bid on a few on EBay and Gunbroker but they were closing over $400. Finally one seller had several so I made a $350 offer he accepted. It was a reproduction but original ones are so spicy, I just didn’t care. Cut the barrel down with a pipe cutter to the right length and good to go there.
I then started looking for a bayonet but those were not common and going for over $200. I started wondering if any other bayonets would fit or could be modified. I had a few long ones I had picked up at a local military swap meet and it turns out that one of them was an original British 1913 made by Remington that ended up being repurposed for US use after we entered WWI.
The bayonet fit perfectly and was aged to perfection like everything else on the gun. The grips were pretty chewed up so I found a set on eBay for $30. Nice original ones that matched the old and worn look.
I hit the heatshield with some vinegar and steel wool, smacked it around, dragged it through some gravel and within a few hours, it looked as vintage as everything else.
I removed the cracked stock, replacement ones for the 520A are not too common so I spread it apart and injected good wood glue in and clamped it. It was still loose fitting so I sprayed the shotgun’s back end with oil and bedded the stock to it with epoxy. Once that set up for a few days, smacked it around and put some weight on it, it stayed nice and tight.
I am waiting on a rear sling mount (1928 Thompson M1A1) a repo leather sling and repo butt plate to finish out the project. I will beat up and age the sling when it arrives and it should be complete.

2024.04.19 03:23 Lupine_Ranger A decent, affordable 1911?

A decent, affordable 1911?
After looking for a replacement for my 1919 Colt Model 1911 for reenacting, I finally landed on the Tisas 1911 ASF. After badgering my LGS for a couple months, and they finally ordered a few, so I picked this one up today. At first glance, it appears to be a fairly well-made stand in for a WW2 era 1911. If enough people are interested, I can do a side-by-side comparison with my WW1 Colt.
Things I immediately noticed: the finish is Manganese phosphate parkerizing instead of zinc phos (results in a darker finish than most WW2 examples). The hammer checkering also seems slightly "off", as if it's not cut quite right.
These minor nitpicks aside, no billboards on the slide, the ejection port is the correct shape, and the fit/finish feels at LEAST on par with my Colt, if not slightly better (although comparing a brand new gun to one that's 105 years old isn't exactly fair)
TL:DR; cheap 1911 doesn't actually seem that bad, fairly faithful reproduction for ballin' on a budget. Miles more accurate than anything Rock Island currently makes.

2024.04.19 01:47 Vulpikeet Taming Rosewood

I've just finished watching through the VODs of Sips' recent Project Zomboid playthrough (23 Feb 2024 - 2 April 2024).
While watching, I made up this summary of his runs. Figured I may as well share here.
Spoiler warning, in case you're still watching through yourself!
1 - Eddie Munroe (M) - 7 days, 21 hours, 38 zombies.
While walking in the dark along the highway to the Rosewood farmhouse, exerted, he missed a swing with his bat while fighting 4 zombies and got eaten.
2 - Thelma Fournier (F) - 6 days, 7 hours, 85 zombies.
She made a run for it from the Rosewood gas station on vanilla helicopter day. She tried to defend the Rosewood farmhouse from a horde of zombies with nothing but a hammer, and got eaten while trying to lead approx. 12 zombies away.
3 - Wallace Merchant (M) - 1 day, 6 hours, 36 zombies - "I can't believe I threw away that start!"
He misjudged a crowbar swing against 3-5 zombies, got eaten by the road just outside Rosewood.
4 - Norbert Britt (M) - 1 day, 23 hours, 29 zombies.
Exerted, shoving 2 zombies around, got eaten out the back of the Rosewood farmhouse.
5 - Brent Carpenter (M) - 17 days, 3 hours, 265 zombies.
Trying to clear out zombies around Rosewood farmhouse with a wooden mallet, got bitten in a fight with 5 zombies and killed them all but died from terminal damage.
6 - Howard Toledo (M) - 17 days 4 hours, 406 zombies - Rosewood gas station base.
Bitten in the groin while clearing out a Rosewood house, then later got eaten while fighting zombies in the Rosewood church parking lot.
7 - Parker Kaufman (M) - 5 days 5 hours, 191 zombies - Rosewood gas station base.
Found a black "sporty little number" of a car, which he took for a loud joy ride around the Rosewood motel. While fighting zombies with a hand axe in the pouring rain by said Rosewood motel, he got exerted and 5 zombies ate him.
8 - Gerado Hamlin (M) - 1 month, 16 days, 3 hours, 795 zombies - Rosewood Firehouse base.
He was clearing out many zombies in Rosewood suburbia, dressed in full firefighting gear. He became exerted and got overwhelmed, bitten in the right forearm. With the wound bandaged, he turned around and continued to fight but was swiftly eaten.
9 - Marjory Ocasio (F) - 1 month, 4 days, 16 hours, 669 zombies - "Large Marge", Rosewood Home, massive deck, green taxi and blue trailer.
At Jenny's Table in Rosewood she was ambushed by a 2 zombie combo coming through a window. A lunging zombie tripped her and other bit her lower torso. She decided to go out with a bang from there, grabbing her shotgun and patrolling the streets of Rosewood. She then took a joy ride in a white sports car through Muldraugh, to the highway just north of Dixie where she slayed many zombies. She was eaten near Dixie while trying to get back into her crashed sports car.
10 - Waldo Frazier (M) - 7 days, 11 hours, 270 zombies - Rosewood Firehouse base.
Stepped outside briefly on vanilla helicopter day, which attracted many zombies directly to his base. He went wandering around to see them and got eaten by resulting massive horde of zombies in the Rosewood Police compound.
11 - Jefferson Wilber (M) - 1 month, 5 days, 13 hours, 793 zombies - Rosewood Home, recreated Marge's deck.
He got greedy at the Jamieton Army Surplus, wanting to nab a trailer, but he accidentally hooked up a white Dash Bulldriver to his own grey Dash Bulldriver. In the process he suddenly attracted a large horde of zombies and his car was too slow to get away. He jumped out of the surrounded car and got eaten immediately.
12 - Rashad Howe (M) - 6 months, 15 days, 6 hours+, 8418+ zombies - Early sledgehammer, Rosewood Farmhouse base, built a deck, Fallas Lake base, fishing hut, saw snow, celebrated Christmas Day and lived to see 1994, tamed Fallas Lake, tamed Rosewood.
He made good progress towards clearing the Rosewood prison, and had started a forward base in Riverside. Rashad lives on, killing over 40 zombies a day (on average).
Edit: tidied up formatting.

2024.04.16 19:22 Leather_Focus_6535 The currently 31 offenders executed by Arkansas since the 1970s and their crimes (warning, graphic content, please read at your own risk)

Here is the list I pre wrote for Arkansas' execution roster since the 1970s reinstatement of the death penalty. The dates given here don't always correlate with time spent on death row, and are often more of a loose timeline of their criminal activities. For example, if an offender's first convicted offense was them stealing a car as a teenager, I often include that in the date. Another issue that needs to be addressed is many of these cases are extremely graphic in nature, so please read at your own risk.
Due to it being near finals for my classes, I'll probably delay releasing my lists for the remaining states of Georgia, Alabama, Missouri, Virginia, Oklahoma, and the still in progress Texas for the next few weeks. However, Georgia will likely be the next one I'll share here.
The currently executed 31 offenders:
1.John Swindler (~1977-1990, electric chair): Swindler was sentenced to death for the killing of a 30 year old policeman named Randy Basnett. Basnatt pulled over Swindler while he was driving a stolen car, and the latter fatally shot the former in the ensuring confrontation. Swindler was also responsible for the abductions and double shootings of a teenage couple, 18 year old Greg Becknell and 18 year old Dorothy Rhodes, and the killing of 25 year old Jeffrey McNerney was attributed to him despite failing to be convicted of it in court.
2.Ronald Simmons (1987-1990, lethal injection): Simmons massacred his family, which consisted of his 46 year old wife Bersabe, his 8 children (all between the ages from 7 to 26 years old, with the youngest being conceived through sexually abusing one of his daughters), his 33 year old son-in-law Dennis McNulty, his 23 year old daughter-in-law Renata, and 4 grandchildren (all between 3 to 7 years old, including the eldest who was also the aforementioned youngest child he fathered with one of his daughters). He murdered his relatives through shootings, strangulations, and drownings. After murdering his own family, Simmons opened fire on his workplace. Simmons killed 23 year old Kathy Kendrick, a co worker he sexually harassed, and 33 year old James Chaffi, a random customer, in his rampage.
3.Ricky Rector (1981-1992, lethal injection): When Rector and a group of his friends drove to a home style restaurant, one of his friends was denied entry for not being able to pay for a ticket. Enraged, Rector pulled out a gun and fired into the establishment. Two patrons were wounded, and a third, 33 year old Arthur Criswell, died from a hit to the throat. Rector went on the run for 3 days, until his sister and a police officer that was also a family friend, Bob Martin (age unknown), convinced him to surrender. Despite his promises of surrendering, Rector fatally shot Martin in the back when he turned to walk away from the scene. Rector's execution was a source of controversy, as he acquired a cognitive disability from a botched suicide.
4.Steven Hill (1984-1992, lethal injection): After escaping from the custody of a corrections facility, Hill and an accomplice broke into a nearby home. They tied up the elderly homeowners and intimidated them into complacency with rape threats. He almost murdered them until his accomplice talked him out of it. They then stole the couple's truck, and tried fleeing the scene. Responding police officers forced the two into bunkering in a nearby house. In the following confrontation, Hill shot and killed one of the officers, 39 year old Robert Klain.
5.Edward Pickens (~1975-1994, lethal injection): Pickens and two accomplices held up a grocery store at gunpoint. Two of them gang raped a 23 year old female clerk, while they cleared out the register and stole her diamond wedding ring. They then lined her, the store owner, and 7 customers on the ground, and shot them multiple times. Two of the hostages, Westley Nobles [the sources are very inconsistent on his exact age, and they range anywhere from 64 to 76 year old] and 31 year old James Scherm, were killed while the others survived their injuries. A third man, 33 year old Theordore Criner, was carjacked and shot in the head by Pickens' accomplices, and his car was used as a getaway vehicle in the robbery.
6.Jonas Whitmore (1986-1994, lethal injection): 62 year old Essie Black welcomed Whitmore inside her home to share her homemade cookies with him. He repaid Black's kindness by stabbing her 10 times and slitting her throat. Whitmore then ransacked her house and stole $250 in cash. On death row, Whitmore attacked Ronald Simmons for waiving his appeals, as he believed that him volunteering for execution would compromise his battle against his.
7.Hoyt Clines (1981-1994, lethal injection): Clines and 3 other men forced themselves inside the home of 47 year old Donald Lehman. They beat Lehman with a motorcycle chain and shot 3 him times in front of his wife and daughter. The assailants then stole $1,000 and several of Lehman's guns.
8.Darryl Richley (1981-1994, lethal injection): Richley was one of Clines' accomplices. He assisted him in murdering Lehman and robbing his family.
9.James Holmes (1981-1994, lethal injection): Holmes was the third member of Clines' gang. He also partook in the home invasion that killed Lehman.
10.Richard Snell (1983-1995, lethal injection): Snell was a militant of the white supremacist group The Covenant, the Sword, and the Arm of the Lord (CSA). He shot and killed a pawn shop owner, 36 year old William Stumpp, on the mistaken belief that he was Jewish, and a police officer, 37 year old Louis Bryant, for being black. Prior to his murder sprees, Snell was also involved in a few failed terrorist attacks.
11.Barry Fairchild (1984-1996, lethal injection): Fairchild was convicted of abducting army nurse, 22 year old Marjorie Mason. According to prosecutors, he sodomized and shot her to death in a barn. Fairchild's death sentence and execution has been scrutinized, as there are strong accusations of police coercion and misconduct involved in the case. More specifically, the defense attorneys have alleged that Fairchild had a intellectual disability, which supposedly left him vulnerable to exploitation by investigators. Other questioned suspects have also claimed that they were beaten while detained by the officers.
12.William Parker (1984-1996, lethal injection): Parker shot his ex-wife's parents, 49 year old James and Sandra (age unknown) Warren, when he ambushed them while they were pulling out of their driveway. He blamed them for the disintegration of his marriage with their daughter and sought vengeance. A day after the killings, Parker kidnapped his ex wife, 27 year old Pam, and opened fire on police officers trying to intervene. Pam and an officer, 41 year old Mauris Feyen, were hit by Parker's gunfire, but both survived their injuries.
13.Paul Ruiz (1977-1997, lethal injection): Ruiz broke out of prison with his accomplice Earl Denton. He and Denton ambushed two park rangers, 55 year old Opal James and 27 year old David Small, and a marshal, 42 year old Marvin Richie, while on the run. They robbed Richie and the rangers of their wallets at gunpoint and abducted them. They tied their captives up with their own handcuffs, and shot them execution style. James and Richie were killed by gunshots to the head and neck respectively, while Small survived with a bullet wound to his chest.
14.Earl Denton (1977-1997, lethal injection): Denton was an accomplice to the above mentioned Ruiz. As discussed under Ruiz's section, Denton assisted him in the robbery abductions of two park rangers and a marshal while on the run from a prison breakout. He took part in the killings of two of their hostages, and the attempted murder of the survivor.
15.Kirt Wainwright (1988-1997, lethal injection): Wainright robbed a convenience store at gunpoint, and fatally shot the clerks, 37 year old Karen Ross and 28 year old Barbara Smith.
16.Eugene Perry (1980-1997, lethal injection): Perry held up a jewelry store owned by the Staton family. He tied up the owner, 53 year old Kenneth and his daughter, 24 year old Suzanne, and shot them both twice in the head at point blank range. After the killings, Perry stole up to $100,000 in jewelry.
17.Wilburn Henderson (1980-1998, lethal injection): Henderson broke into a furniture store owned by 50 year old Willa O'Neal and her husband. He shot Willa dead and took $41 from the cash register.
18.Johnie Cox (1989-1999, lethal injection): Cox tied up his step grandmother, 68 year old Marie Sullens, and two distant relatives, 34 year old Margaret and 32 year Billy Brown, in their home. He stabbed, strangled, and shot them all to death, and then burned down their house with their bodies inside.
19.Marion Pruett (~1981-1999, lethal injection): A few years after being released from a federal prison and placed in the witness protection program, Pruett went on a nationwide crime spree. In Mississippi, he abducted a loan officer, 43 year old Peggy Lowe, while robbing a bank and shot her to death. While robbing two convenience stores in Colorado, Pruett fatally shot two clerks, 24 year old James Balderson and 21 year old Anthony Taitt. The murder that got him condemned in Arkansas was 30 year old Bobbie Robertson, a clerk he kidnapped from a convenience store and shot dead. Pruett also beat his common law wife, 25 year old Pamela Barker, with a clawhammer and burned her body while stealing money for cocaine.
20.Mark Gardner (1985-1999, lethal injection): Gardner forced his way into the home of 60 year old Martha and 57 year old Joe Joyce, and bound them and their daughter, 31 year old Sara McCurdy. After he finished restraining his captives, he sexually assaulted Sara in front of her parents, and strangled all of them to death with a belt. He then ransacked the house, snatched jewelry, and drove away with the Joyces' car. While awaiting execution, Gardner raped Damien Echols, one of the accused West Memphis Three.
21.Alan Willett (1993-1999, lethal injection): Willett assaulted his 3 children, 17 year old Ruby, 13 year old Eric, 8 year old John, and his intellectually disabled brother, 43 year old Roger, under his care with a window weight in their trailer home. Eric and Roger were killed in the attack, while Ruby shielded John with her own body and dragged him and herself to the safety of a neighbor's house. Several teachers and a visiting pastor filled numerous complaints about the children's malnourished looking appearances and the family's filthy living conditions to social services before the murders, but were all dismissed by the investigating case workers.
22.Christina Riggs (1997-2000, lethal injection): Riggs poisoned her children, 5 year old Justin Thomas and 2 year old Shelby, with a combination of potassium chloride, amitriptyline sedative pills, and morphine. When that failed to immediately kill them, Riggs switched to suffocating them with a pillow.
23.David Johnson (1989-2000, lethal injection): Johnson duped Leon Brown, a 67 year old watchman, into letting him in the Little Rock Crate warehouse he was guarding. After entry, he beat Brown to death with a 2x4 lumber, stole a car, and drove off with Brown's body.
24.Clay Smith (1998-2001, lethal injection): Misty Erwin, Smith's 20 year old girlfriend, accused him of domestic abuse and initially requested police protection. However, she withdrew her complaints, and continued her relationship with Smith. A few days later, Smith shot Erwin, her cousin, 24 year old Shelley Sorg, Sorg's two children, 5 year old Sean and 3 year old Taylor, and a babysitter, 12 year old Samantha Rhodes, to death with his rifle.
25.Riley Noel (1995-2003, lethal injection): Noel's brother was previously killed in a drive by shooting, and he believed that 19 year old Yashica Young was responsible for setting up the murder. In retaliation, Noel and 3 other gang members broke into her family's home in search of her. They rounded up Yashica's younger siblings, 17 year old Marchell, 12 year old Mustafa, and 10 year old Malak Hussian, forced them to lie on the ground, and executed them with a shotgun. When Noel tried to do the same with the siblings' mother, 34 year old Mary, the gun jammed. She was able to wrestle the gun away, and chase Noel and his gang out of her home.
26.Charles Singleton (~1979-2005, lethal injection): While robbing York's Grocery Store, Singleton stabbed the owner, 19 year old Mary Lou York, twice in the neck.
27.Eric Nance (1993-2005, lethal injection): Nance found 18 year old Julie Heath broken down on the side of the highway. He lured her into his car with the offer of a ride. Nance then raped Heath and slit her throat with box cutters. On an unrelated side note, Heath's mother took her own life a year after the murder reportedly out of overwhelming grief.
28.Ledell Lee (~1989-2017, lethal injection): Lee was given a death sentence for the rape and murder of 26 year old Debra Reese, who was fatally struck 36 times with a tire thumper. He was also trialed for the murder of 22 year old Christine Lewis, but was acquitted from the inablity of the jury to reach a verdict. His execution is controversial due to the mixed results of a 2021 DNA test. More specifically, a DNA of an unknown man was found on the tire thumper (which was owned by Reese and her husband), but it still remained a "moderate" possibility that blood found on Lee's shoes could've belonged to Reese. Despite the DNA controversies, Lee had several unrelated rape convictions and accusations, and bills found in his possession had serial numbers that were traced back to money stolen from Reese.
29.Jack Jones (~1983-2017, lethal injection): In 1983, Jones abducted 20 year old Regina Harrison in Florida while she was going on a nightly bike ride. He raped and strangled her to death, and dumped Harrison's body in a nearby forest. Harrison's killing was originally pinned on Ronald Stewart, another sex offender with several previous rape convictions, until a DNA testing in 2019 proved Jones' responsibility. Jones committed his second verified murder in 1991, when he raped and strangled 32 year old Lorraine Barrett in her motel room. His last known murder occurred in 1995, when he broke in a home that 34 year old Mary Philps shared with her 11 year old daughter Lacey. Jones raped and strangled Mary to death, beat Lacey unconscious, tied the girl to a chair, and fled the residence.
30.Marcel Williams (1994-2017, lethal injection): Williams abducted 22 year old Stacy Errickson from a gas station, and forced her to withdraw money from a ATM. He then raped and murdered her through beating and strangulation attacks, and buried her body near the Arkansas River. Williams had a long history of sexual predations, and had at least two rape convictions prior to Errickson's murder.
31.Kenneth Williams (1998-2017, lethal injection): In 1998, Williams shot and killed 36 year old Jerrell Jenkins during a robbery. Days after Jenkins' murder, he kidnapped 19 year old Dominique Hurd and her boyfriend at gunpoint. After he forced them to withdraw money, Williams shot both of them. Hurd was killed in the shooting, while her boyfriend survived his injuries. A year later, Williams escaped from prison and broke into the home of 57 year old Cecil Boren. He stole one of Boren's guns and fatally shot him 6 times with it. Williams then stole Boren's wallet, jewelry, clothes, and other guns, and drove away in his truck. The following police chase caused a traffic collision that took the life of a delivery truck driver, 24 year old Michael Greenwood. Beyond his murder convictions, Williams also abducted a 39 year old woman, molested several children as a child himself, and was part of the Gangsters Disciples gang.

(Previous Part)
(Part 001)
Five more days pass in realspace.
During this time, a growing sense of anticipation fills the air. Posters spring up all around Tarus II's sole major city, the Fortress of Retribution. These posters show the faces of Neil Adams and Phoebe Hiro, and speak of a Genesis Point, a coming debate that will change the trajectory of human society forever.
With only three million or so humans left in the Milky Way, their population is truly insignificant compared to their demon and monster peers. Even the lizardmen have a population of two million, living within Marie Becker's secret dimensions and a few pockets of the Labyrinth. Compared to the unthinkable number of demons and Volgrim, humanity feels minuscule, utterly insignificant.
Over the last month, following the conclusion of Stormbringer and the changes made by Jason Hiro, a sizable population of demons from two distinct Hells have made themselves at home on Tarus II, with many of them living on the outskirts of the Fortress of Retribution's main city limits. These demons come specifically from the Hell of Isolation and the Hell of Lust.
The Hell of Isolation, in keeping true to its name, usually stays out of the main human city. These demon refugees have heard rumblings of a soon-to-come rebuilding of the planet Sharmur, but they have yet to receive any instructions from its new Demon Deity, Melody.
At the same time, the Hell of Lust has welcomed three new Emperors into its ranks. Thanks to the Belial Booster, the Dukes named Jahn, Silvia, and Bree have all uplifted themselves, assuming the titles of Emperors of Consent, Humiliation, and Adultery, respectively.
In contrast, the Hell of Lust is more than happy to integrate its succubi and incubi into the ranks of humanity, a fact that has caused great concern among those aligned more closely to Neil Adams' political ideology. Countless humans secretly or outwardly react with disgust when they see humans walking hand in hand with male and female demonic sluts, these various sex-fiends always eager to fornicate with the nearest human at hand.
Unlike most demons, succubi and incubi are not innately immortal. They must feed upon the pleasure of other sentients in order to maintain their youthful vigor. But thankfully, contrary to the ancient legends, this does not suck the life out of their human partners, nor does it harm them in the slightest. In fact, pairing off with a Lust-demon has no downsides for their human partners, outside of experiencing prejudice from other humans.
And so, while the Demons of Lust quietly spread themselves around human society, a sense of growing discontent begins to smolder under the surface.
Inside one of the pubs scattered around the city, a pair of men growl at each other while flickering stink-eyes at some of the other humans and demons situated further away.
"It's not right." One of the men says. "It's disgusting. An act against God."
"Preach it." The other man says. "Every time I see a brother walk off with another succubus bitch, I get a sinking feeling in my gut. They're taking away good men and women, preventing us from having children. Every human that lays with a bloodskin means one less human baby born. And you know we need every baby we can get."
"We're losing the reproduction war." The other man says. "There's no way these succubi are as benign as everyone thinks. I bet Diablo's running things from the shadows. He wants to replace humans slowly over time, make us subservient to the demons."
The second man snarls under his breath. "It's a conspiracy, and the Wordsmith is totally blind to all of it."
"Yeah, well, at least we have Commander Adams on our side. He's going to take the Wordsmith's Wife to task. Miss Hiro needs to see just how bad things have become."
"What if she's part of the conspiracy?" The second man asks under his breath. "Miss Hiro isn't stupid. She's married to Jason Hiro. I'm sure she knows all about what these devil-witches are up to. I heard she and her husband even bring the Emperor of Passion to their bedchambers once in a while..."
"Belial? Tsk. Yeah, you're probably right. Damn, the rot goes deep. If Commander Adams calls us to action though, you'd better believe I'm answering his summons."
"One hundred percent."
The two men continue to mutter under their breath, not giving a damn who hears them. If they hadn't been ordered a few times before to keep their voices down, they might even bellow their thoughts in public, but luckily Neil Adams has seen fit to instate strict discipline until the conclusion of the Great Debate.
However, elsewhere inside the bar, one rather rotund female demoness can't help but frown when she hears the two men talk. Her hearing has become much sharper in recent times, a sign of her imminent rise to the rank of Demon Grunt...
"Succubus sluts are all so gross. I bet Ose bewitched Mister Beelzebub with succubus magic. Well, maybe if I can become a succubus, I'll have what it takes to woo him back."
...
Elsewhere in the city, guards spring up on various corners, wielding heavy crowd control shotguns designed to electrocute and paralyze large groups of humans and weaker monsters and demons, should the situation turn dire. With the Great Debate soon to arrive, they have orders not to allow any chaos to engulf the Fortress of Retribution. Order must be preserved.
"You think the Commander is going to win the debate?" One of the female soldiers asks.
"God, I hope so." A male soldier behind her grunts. "It's about time we had some change around here. And not Jason-change either, but good change. Need to remind these demons that we humans have plenty of bite to back up our bark."
The man notices a demon frowning in his direction. He frowns back inside his faceless T-REX.
"The fuck are you looking at, bloodskin?! Move along!"
The demon lowers his head and shuffles away, allowing the soldier's mood to improve.
"At least these grunts know how to listen to their superiors. Man, I hope Neil slaps the hell out of whatever crap the Wordsmith has to say."
"The Wordsmiths aren't going to join the debate." The woman says. "It's only Commander Adams and Miss Hiro."
"What?! You mean even Hope won't chime in with his thoughts?"
"Nope." The woman says. "It's just those two. Yeah, I don't get it either. This debate is all about how Jason has failed us, but the coward doesn't have anything to say. This is why Commander Adams is the superior leader. With him guiding Hope Hiro, we'll have a better future following the Second Wordsmith."
"Can't argue with facts." The male soldier replies.
...
Inside the Tarus II hospital at the western edge of the upper plateau, Belial sighs to herself as she walks down the corridors and passes yet another T-REX-wearing trooper. She steps into a break room and slumps into an easy-chair, lolling her head back in frustration.
Leeroy, the Duke of Restoration, sits nearby, reading an old demonic book about the history of various fallen Emperors. He lifts his eyes up from the book to look at her.
"Are you doing okay?" He asks.
"I mean. Not really." Belial says, her long black hair spilling over the back of her chair. "A lot of demons are starting to feel nervous. The results of today's big debate will have reverberations for potentially centuries. There's rumors Neil Adams wants to pull all the humans to Maiura except the hardline 'demon lovers' who he considers riddled with sin. He's going to set back demon and human relations a hundred years."
Leeroy shrugs. "It's unfortunate, but I've been expecting this to happen eventually. Frankly, the First Wordsmith has done a terrible job managing the situation. We're sitting on a powder keg waiting to blow."
Belial frowns. She lifts her head up to look at Leeroy. "What do you mean?"
"Can't you see?" Leeroy asks. "All these different humans with unique views are being shoved into a one-size-fits-all situation. How many humans have had their friends and loved ones die to Beelzebub's detonation? How many personally suffered as a result of Stormbringer? How many lived under the oppression of our people for tens of millennia, with history stretching back further than their scrolls could record? And you really think they can just set aside their fear and anger to appease the First Wordsmith's morality?"
The Duke of Restoration shakes his head and returns his gaze to his book. "Our people have committed terrible, unforgivable evils, Samantha. If I were in the humans' place, I certainly wouldn't be capable of letting bygones be bygones. It's a miracle nobody has resorted to extreme acts of terrorism against the so-called 'good demons.' If this debate pans out poorly, we could be looking at a mass insurrection against the current regime."
Belial's rosy red skin turns light pink as she pales with unease.
"Surely... they wouldn't go that far?"
"Humans are short-lived and unpredictable." Leeroy says authoritatively. "If you look up the ancient records from Earth, it's clear that they will not tolerate foreigners they dislike for long. A reckoning will come, one way or another. I don't see any tenable route to peace for the Wordsmiths."
"Jason will think of something. At the very least, Phoebe will." Belial says, sitting up straight in her chair. "She always comes through."
...
At a shack built up against the western edge of the plateau, not far from the hospital, a male human and his demon fiance lay in bed within their humble abode, with the demoness laying on her side while the human lays on his back while reading a book about botany.
"Honey..." The demoness, Kiari, says. "Aren't you going to go to the big debate today?"
She lays on her side facing away from her fiance, Saul. He glances at her, then reaches over and squeezes her arm. "No, I don't think so, love. You've been feeling unwell for almost five hours, so I'll just stay here. Besides, I don't really care what the other humans decide to do, as long as I get to continue living with you. I'll hear about whatever happened from the grapevine later."
Kiari mumbles something to herself, then makes a weird noise in her throat. "Ugh... I... I haven't ever been sick before. What could be causing this?"
Saul frowns. He puts down his book, then looks at his wife's back seriously. "Demons don't get sick, do they?"
"Almost never, unless another demon is deliberately trying to poison us. Oh... you don't think I've been poisoned, do you?" Kiari asks, slowly rolling onto her back to look at Saul.
"Hmm. I certainly hope not." Saul mutters. "You're in no condition to walk. Why don't I go and grab someone with a vehicle? I'll have a friend drive us up to the hospital to have Samantha check you out."
"I... I don't want to bother her for no reason." Kiari says, putting on a brave face. "It's probably nothing. Plus she'll be going to see the Great Debate anyway. She won't have time for me..."
"I'm not going to risk your life." Saul says firmly, as he slides his legs over the edge of the bed, stands up, and starts getting dressed. "I'd much rather inconvenience Samantha so long as we can confirm you just have some mild form of demon flu. What if Mephisto is poisoning us, or something? What if that Neil Adams fellow is up to no good?"
Kiari's eyes flash with alarm. "Neil Adams? You don't think he'd...?"
"I know he hates demons. He could have had one of his troopers poison you discreetly. If not him, it could be someone else." Saul says. "There's no room for second chances. Unlike us humans, you demons don't have a Lazarus Tower to revive you if things go south. You'll probably end up... inside of Mephisto's stomach."
Kiari moans in pain. "M-Mephisto? Ohh... I don't... I wouldn't like that..."
"Right." Saul says, as he pulls on a tunic. "Well, I'll be back in ten or fifteen minutes. I'll try and find someone as fast as I can."
"Okay..." Kiari mutters, as she closes her eyes and creases her brow. "Please be quick about it. I don't want to be alone right now. And I'm feeling so hot..."
...
Phoebe Hiro sits at a desk inside her bedroom. For two weeks, she's come and gone, but not once has Jason returned to her side.
His Dronesmith has, but she wouldn't go to bed with an automaton.
So, she stays alone in her room, sometimes enjoying the quiet and solitude, but other times she feels rather empty and lonely. With Jason trapped inside Chrona, she hasn't been able to see or touch her husband for two full weeks.
Th thing that bother Phoebe the most, though, isn't even her own loneliness. It's the thought that for each day she's gone to bed without Jason, he's done the same thing two hundred and fifty times.
On this day in particular, only a couple of hours before the Great Debate, she feels especially forlorn. She looks at the papers in her hand and checks her notes, but a terrible heaviness weighs on her heart.
"I wish Daisy were still here." Phoebe mutters to herself. "God, I wish..."
She sets the papers down on her desk, then lifts her eyes to stare blankly at the wall for a few minutes. Nothing in particular comes to her mind. She simply feels a deep weight of expectations looming over her shoulders.
"Can I really do it?" She asks herself. "Can I get all these people to unite their hearts into a singular goal? It feels impossible."
After a few more minutes, she decides to get up, go to the Central Gardens, and visit her nephew, Sir Lorent. The trip doesn't take her long, perhaps only a quarter of an hour, and as always she finds him painting on an easel while little Shana does the same. Phoebe smiles as she approaches, seeing that Shana's painting skills have improved a lot.
"Lorent." Phoebe says from behind him.
The man blinks in surprise, then turns around to flash a huge smile at her. "Aunt Phoebe! How good to see you. It's been a few days."
"Sorry." Phoebe says. "I've been busy lately prepping for this damned debate with Neil Adams."
"Ohh, I almost forgot about that." Lorent says with a sagely nod of his head. "What were you debating again?"
"The matter of Jason's leadership, and whether or not humanity should stay on Tarus II or split in half, with some people going to Maiura and some staying here." Phoebe answers.
"Mmm. That's a topic too heavy for the likes of me." Lorent says with a light laugh. "I, ah... I kill things, and I paint. That's all I'm good for, none of that political talk."
"Right." Phoebe says, stifling a frown as she looks away. "Oh, Shana! How have you been, little sweetheart? Is Uncle Lorent treating you well?"
Shana turns and beams a huge smile at her adoptive aunt. "Yeah! Lorent good! Teach me to paint! See? Pretty pictures!"
Shana gestures to her easel, where an image of a rather handsome man rests, a surprisingly mature portrait of Jason Hiro's face with intricate lines interspersed with detailed hair follicles. The more closely Phoebe looks at the painting, the more surprised she becomes by its stunning quality.
"You... you drew that?" Phoebe asks. "You're really gifted, Shana!"
"Yeah! Drew these too!" Shana says proudly, lifting the still-wet painting to reveal previous works hiding underneath it.
Phoebe looks on in ever-increasing surprise as Shana reveals a portrait of Neil Adams, Lorent, and even Phoebe herself. But what most surprises her is that more than a dozen paintings have been devoted to one blonde woman in particular, a woman Phoebe has only seen a few times before.
"Aren't these paintings of Joan of Arc?" Phoebe asks, pointing at the powerful and heroic images of Joan, sometimes drawn in a portrait-style, but more often taken as action-images of her swinging a sword or striking a heroic pose.
"Yeah, yeah!" Shana chirps, visibly excited by Phoebe's praise. "Nice lady likes Joan. I draw Joan. Nice lady keeps coming!"
"Nice lady...?" Phoebe asks, directing a questioning look at Lorent.
"I don't know who she is. Someone named Cammy." Lorent replies with a shrug of his shoulders. "She and her friend Serra come by once in a while to admire our paintings. Shana likes to draw images of Joan of Arc because Cammy enjoys looking at them."
He pauses.
"I must admit, Joan of Arc was a wonderful woman. A powerful Hero. I'd like to have spoken to her at some point. It's unfortunate her blade was destroyed when the Polaris star went supernova. Her remnant soul has been lost to the sands of time."
Even Shana becomes less enthusiastic. "Yeah... Joan of Arc awesome. Wish I meet her too."
"I was able to see her in action when she fought the Archdemon." Phoebe says. "She was... certainly fearsome."
Phoebe sighs, then reaches over to stroke the top of Shana's faintly corporeal head. "Well, I just wanted to drop by and say hello. I'll be engaging in that debate in a couple of hours."
"Mmm. I don't have much interest in watching it, auntie, but I do pray for your success." Lorent says. "I wish only the best for you."
"Thank you, nephew. Your words are all I need." Phoebe says with a smile.
...
Neil Adams paces back and forth in front of a large mirror, looking at himself while motioning with his hands.
"My fellow Tarusians! No, that's too broad. Should I say fellow humans? That would exclude the monsters. I need to exclude the demons, of course, but the greeting should feel warm and sincere. Perhaps... my fellow humans and monsters... hmm, yes, that does sound a bit better. A tad long in the tooth though."
Sitting off to the side, Linda Hurent looks at the man pacing back and forth with a serious expression. "Are you sure this is going to go the way you want, Neil? Phoebe has the heart of the people on her side. Even those who don't like her still respect her, but most of them adore her. She can't know everyone's name like she used to in the past, but she still has a reputation for being warm and approachable. If you attack her, you'll make yourself into a villain."
"Hmph. Warm and approachable..." Neil says mockingly as he looks at himself in the mirror. "We're entering a flashpoint, my dear. What people crave right now is stability. Fortitude. They want a strong leader who can point them in the direction that will benefit them the most. They need someone authoritative to save them from themselves. Someone willing to speak of the filth rotting our society from the inside-out."
"That's all well and good, but I worry this debate is going a step too far." Linda says. "If anything goes wrong, you could turn the hearts of our soldiers away. We need our brave men and women if we're going to keep the demons on the back-foot."
"If there's one thing I'm not worried about, it's losing the hearts of our service-members." Neil says calmly. "I know for sure that Jason does not command the love of the people. He was the first to save them, yes, but he squandered their good will time and time again. Now, most humans only pray he will not bring another catastrophe upon them due to his incompetence. His lack of planning has caused his undoing."
Linda taps her chin. "What about his recent movements? You know, with the crystals? What was he planning when he had all the humans, monsters, and demons scanned with them?"
Neil turns and smiles at her. "It's funny you ask. I've prepared a certain section of my speech on that very matter. It will be quite interesting to discuss."
"Any previews for me?" Linda presses.
"Not even for you. Just sit back and enjoy the surprises." Neil says. "I've worked hard on this speech. It is the ultimate culmination of my plans. I will unite humanity proper. I won't let Jason drag us down any longer. With Hope at my side, we'll break humanity into pieces and rebuild it ten times stronger than before!"
"I certainly hope you succeed." Linda says nervously. "Diablo has been making such terrifying moves, lately. He has everyone on edge."
"Mmm. Diablo..." Neil says, trailing off without adding anything else.
The Great Debate looms imminently.

2024.04.12 19:01 Klokinator Cryopod Refresh 551: Flashpoint

2024.04.10 00:31 Leather_Focus_6535 The currently 43 inmates executed by the state of North Carolina and their crimes (warning, graphic content, please read at your own risk)

After some requests, I've decided to release my list for North Carolina's post 70s execution roster that I made for my personal death project. As of 2006, 43 inmates have been put to death by the state. As a warning, many of their crimes are extremely heinous (a few involve violence against minors), and that is discussed in my descriptions. Please read at your personal discretion.
Something that should be clarified about the time frames here is that they aren't the range that the offenders spend on death row. They are intended to be an approximate time frame of their first known offenses to their executions.
The states that I've covered so far in this series are California, Illinois, the 14 states with less then 10 executions (New Mexico, Connecticut, Colorado, Wyoming, Oregon, Montana, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Idaho, Nebraska, Washington, Maryland, South Dakota, and Utah), Ohio, Indiana, South Carolina, Delaware, Tennessee, and Nevada. I'm planning on doing Mississippi tomorrow, but what other states (beyond Texas, which I haven't completed yet) would you like me to cover next?
There a number of states that never carried out an execution in the post Furman era, such as Alaska, Hawaii, Maine, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New Hampshire, New York, West Virginia, Kansas, and Iowa. Some of them historically had capital punishment, such as New Jersey, New York, and Rhode Island, in that time frame and still theoretically do like Kansas and New Hampshire (it abolished the death penalty in 2019, but its sole death row inmate had his sentence grandfathered in and remains eligible for execution). Although they cannot be covered in this series, perhaps I'll discuss their condemned cases in the future after I fully complete Texas' list in my project.
The currently 43 executed offenders:
1.James Hutchins (~1954-1984, lethal injection): In 1954, Hutchins shot dead Bruce Weibel, a 32 year old truck driver that picked him up while he was hitchhiking. He evaded prosecution on the grounds of self defense. Hutchins was also briefly questioned in the death of a woman now identified as 18 year old Dorothy Howard, but it is currently believed that serial killer Harvey Glatman was likely responsible for her murder. 25 years later, Hutchins got into a violent argument with his then 18 year old daughter over offering alcohol at her graduation party. Police were called when he assaulted her and other family members that tried to intervene. Hutchins opened fire on the responding officers. 3 of them, 58 year old Owen Messersmith, 42 year old Roy Huskey, and 37 year old Pete Peterson, were killed in the shooting. He also had an assault with a deadly weapon conviction for attempting to kill his ex wife's husband.
2.Velma Barfield (~1969-1984, lethal injection): Barfield poisoned at least 6 people, which included her mother, 64 year old Lillian Bullard, her second husband, 54 year old Jennings Barfield, her boyfriend, 56 year old Rowland Taylor, and 3 elderly individuals, 76 year old Record Lee, and married couple, 95 year old Montgomery and 85 year old Dollie Edwards, under her care. After her victims' murders, Barfield would forge checks in their names. Barfield is also suspected with being involved in a fire that killed her first husband, 37 year old William Burke.
3.John Rook (1980-1986, lethal injection): Rook kidnapped a nurse, 25 year old Ann Roche, from the parking lot of a hospital. He raped Roche, tormented her for several hours with beatings with a tire iron and cuttings with a fishing knife, and rammed her to death with his car.
4.Michael Van McDougall (~1973-1991, lethal injection): Van McDougall lured his neighbors, 27 year old Diane Parker and her roommate, 26 year old Vicki Dunno, into his home by claiming that his wife injured herself. He then attacked them both with a butcher knife. Parker was killed in the attack, and she received over 22 stab wounds. Dunno was stabbed 9 times, but managed to survive the ordeal. Van McDougall had a history of drug dealing and was convicted of sexually assaulting a 31 year old woman at the age of 18.
5.John Gardner Jr. (1982-1992, lethal injection): Gardner broke into the home of 72 year old Ray Shaver and shot him to death. A few days later, he gunned down two restaurant employees, 24 year old Kim Miller and 21 year old Richard Adam, during a robbery. He also stole $2,700 from the registers.
6.David Lawson (1980-1994, gas chamber): Lawson shot a father and son pair, 73 year old Buren and 36 year old Wayne Shinn, when they interrupted him burglarizing their home. Wayne died at the scene, while Buren survived and was able to identify Lawson to the police.
7.Kermit Smith Jr. (1980-1995, lethal injection): Smith abducted 20 year old Whelette Collins and two unidentified 19 year old women from a basketball game. He raped Collins, forcibly exposed her body to the freezing temperatures, and crushed her head with cinderblocks. The other captives, wanting to avoid Collins' fate, fought back and overpowered Smith, and fled into the woods. They were able to wave down a passing motorist and call the police. Smith was a lifelong misogynist and his crimes were purely motivated of a desire to kill a woman. While awaiting execution, Smith continued to attack guards and other death row inmates.
8.Phillip Ingle (~1990s-1995, lethal injection): Ingle entered the home of a married couple, 68 year old William and 67 year old Margaret through an unlocked door. He beat them both to death with an ax handle. A few months later, Ingle broke into the home of 70 year old E.Z. Willis and his 67 year old wife Sarah. Although the Willises were both beaten to death with a tire iron, E.Z. fought back and managed to severely gash Ingle's face with his cane. When questioned about his motives, Ingle replied that "I like watching people die in agony." He had previous convictions for assault and burglary.
9.Ricky Sanderson (~1985-1998, gas chamber): Sanderson kidnapped 16 year old Sue Holliman from her home. He raped, choked, and stabbed her to death, and dumped Holliman's body in a farmer's field. Sanderson was also responsible for at least two other rapes.
10.Zane Hill (1990-1998, lethal injection): After threatening his estranged wife at her home over a restraining order, Hill shot and killed their 29 year old son Randall. He then hit his wife in the head with the gun's butt when she tried to help Randall. Hill had a long history of abuse towards his family, and had numerous complaints of harassment against him.
11.John Noland Jr. (1982-1998, lethal injection): To get back at his ex wife for leaving him with their children, Noland went to the home of her sister, 22 year old Cynthia Milton, and shot her to death. He then walked across the street to the residence of his ex wife's parents, and fatally shot her father, 62 year old Troy, and wounded her mother, 57 year old Mary.
12.James Rich (1991-1998, lethal injection): In 1991, Rich was given a life sentence for the shooting murder of an unidentified person during a burglary. A few years later, in an attempt to avoid being enrolled in the education program that his prison was pushing, Rich stabbed a fellow inmate, 45 year old Paul Gwyn, to death. Before his murder at Rich's hands, Gwyn was incarcerated for raping a teenage girl.
13.Harvey Green (1983-1999, lethal injection): While robbing a dry cleaning store, Green beat the cashier, 17 year old Sheila Bland, and a customer, 33 year old John Edmondson, to death with a pipe.
14.Arthur Boyd Jr. (~1969-1999, lethal injection): When his ex girlfriend, 32 year old Wanda Hartman, rejected his pleas of getting back together, Boyd stabbed her 37 times in front of her mother and daughters. 2024.04.08 02:23 TheOtherFate Little Story

Hello fellow Helldivers! :) I'm usually an freetime writer of Creepypasta-Storys but i also love Helldivers 2. So to celebrate our victory against the Automatons and to honour our fallen Brothers i write a creepy little Story about the Game and maybe what will coming next. Hope you enjoy :D
We are not the good Guys
"For Liberty and Democracy!" These are the words that have been running through my head ever since I was recruited. "For freedom" - Every time I destroy a Terminid nest or an Automaton factory. "For democracy" - Every time my brothers are torn to shreds. "War never changes" said my grandfather when he fought in the first galactic war. I always had a good bond with my grandfather. Thanks to him, I also became a Helldiver to fight for the freedom of our species. However, apart from his stories of heroism in the fight against our enemies, he never mentioned the horror of war for a simple soldier. Horror that I experienced myself on Malevelon Creek. And the more I get into my Hellpod to carry out the next operation or support my brothers, the more I understand this one sentence that my grandfather used to say: "History is always written by the winners.". And the more I think about it, the more I ask myself: what's the point of all of this? Don't get me wrong, I too want to protect my family on Super-Earth at all costs. But protect them from what?
Let's start with the Terminids: Since the end of the First Galactic War, we have kept them in captivity, controlled their reproduction and then slaughtered them for E-710 to refine oil. But I have also observed several times how some Terminids are neither aggressive nor have the urge to kill. Sure, many of them come at us in droves, but isn't that understandable? How would you feel if an alien species enslaved you, forced you to breed and then slaughtered you and your children to produce a raw material from your corpses? Wouldn't you be pissed off too? On the other hand, we have the Automatons whose origins we can only guess at. Some reports of intercepted messages say that they come from the planet Cyberstan and are "descendants" of the cyborgs who we enslaved there. And I believe that these messages are not so far away from reality. I also don't believe the government that the Automatons are just a mindless AI. After all, they speak our language. Besides, the Automatons can't be mindless AI machines. I mean, have you ever listened to a patrol? They have marching songs. And they can't be connected to each other in a network as is usual for an AI. Otherwise they wouldn't be shooting beacons into the sky to request support.
Some of their intercepted messages even say that they will only defend themselves to rebuild Cyberstan to live on in peace. What AI would pursue such goals? The more I think about it, the more I believe that we are not the good guys in this story. And why do I believe that? If this were really a galactic war where each party is fighting for its own peace, why are we fighting on two fronts? Why aren't the Automatons and the Terminids fighting each other? Why are they only DEFENDING against us? More and more I believe that we are the true oppressors. My grandfather told me about another enemy he had fought against in the war: the Illuminates. A far more evolved race than we are. Since childhood, we've been told that the Illuminates were destroyed in the first galactic war. But that is a lie. They came to our galaxy and then went back to their own. My grandfather saw this with his own eyes and he knew until his death that one day they would come back. And that day is near and the government of Super-Earth knows about it.
Why do you think they sell us prototype suits that are resistant to electrical damage? To keep us safe from our own tesla turrets and shock rifles? Anyone who has ever stood next to a Gatling gun or had a gun brother with a shotgun and a nervous trigger finger next to him knows that you should stay away from such situations. But the Illuminates fight with electricity themselves, and Super-Earth prepares us for it. They know that the Illuminates are coming and that day is near. We have destroyed the Automatons and we also have our hands full containing the Terminids. I have fought Terminids myself, witnessed the massacre at Malevelon Creek. We are exhausted and our resources are running out. We are not ready for what comes next. The Illuminates are watching us, just waiting for the right moment to strike. And that moment has come.
Go ahead and make me look like a madman and a traitor, my time is up anyway. My destroyer has flown away from Timit, my brothers are dead, my food and stims have been used up. No one can save me now. Not the Helldivers, not Super-Earth, no one. I am sending this message out on all frequencies. Whoever hears this message: Run. Run as fast and as far away as you can and hope they won't find you. Because they will come. They will come and destroy us all.

🔗Authentic Western 410 Double Barrel Shotgun

https://preview.redd.it/os9k1feqp8sc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cbc070a7ec5a447687e6cf7fad4f261346516422

🔗Denix 1860 Henry Repeating Rifle Brass Finish Frame

https://preview.redd.it/6b4p8p8rp8sc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7ee06bca1ce66d2bf232763b2dbece0726b1e607

🔗Authentic StG 44 Assault Rifle Replica for Collectors and Reenactments

https://preview.redd.it/p8pv3jjrp8sc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9384f96dfd17ba05c1017abaa07b998481349668

🔗Non-Firing Winchester Lever-Action Reproducible Rifle

https://preview.redd.it/drkqmrbsp8sc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d3ee92269598b00658121fdba429eb0421eb67be
Recently, I had the opportunity to try out this replica Winchester 1873 rifle.

🔗Realistic 370 Toy Rifle with Metal and Plastic Construction

https://preview.redd.it/adtu80rsp8sc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2f99efc79f1549db31ec394707aa61907d7c1f61

🔗Authentic Civil War 370 Rifle Replica for Collectors

https://preview.redd.it/pff5ms6tp8sc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=737b3d58e8082633910be8e76b194ffb7aedcd6d

🔗Old West Winchester 1892 Cowboy Rifle Replica

https://preview.redd.it/67jx55itp8sc1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b318727b794ecb0b6c890ddc39fc948848f6a128
When I purchased the DX1069 Denix Rifle Replica, I couldn't wait to add it to my collection.
