I will take an German exam and I found out schreiben part will be different. Instead of writing a letter or an email, we have to write a story according to the picture we will see in exam paper.
I have never took an exam such as. Should I write a child history? Should it be in präsens or perfekt/präteritum tense? What kind of picture will I be given? Unfortunately, I have no chance to get more information about this from the teacher and I couldn't find anything online. I am stressed out.
Can anyone who has a experience with this kind of schreiben type help me? Thank you :)

Hello I have a cut down Gew98 and Im looking for a stock for it to make it look like a k98k as it was a heavy sporterized gun. I found a good deal and the seller has it listed as a Yugo M48 stock (which would not work cause action length differences) for the Full mauser receivers vs the slightly shorter m48 action.
However I believe its a Yugo M98/48 stock or Ex-german 98k. Because of the shorter hand-guard, take down disk, etc. This stock (pictured above) does not look like any Yugo m48 stock I have ever scene.
So my question is, is this one of those M98/48 stocks and will it work with a G98 receiver and im aware even if it is it was shorten a bit and im fine with it. From what I have researched it will work.
The original barrel was cut down to 24 inches and rifling is pitted. So I thought of throwing a k98k barrel on it and a stock and having a shooter. I realize this is not cost effective. Any helpful info is much appreciated and thanks in advance.

There, Dmitri would learn to master the arts of disguise, vocal impression and infiltration, becoming the Chameleon upon his graduation.
He'd move to America and use his talents to pull off high-scale burglary, working for any group that could afford his fee, including the Communist party, Hydra or the Green Goblin. His elicit activity brought him into conflict with the Hulk, Iron Man and most often Spider-Man, all of whom had to act with great caution when the Chameleon was in town. After all, which one of them could tell if that unassuming civilian or their own ally was preparing to stab them in the back?
Dmitri has some mental hangups over his time with the Kravinoffs. He’s managed to repress the memories and considered himself good friends with his half-brother Kraven. In reality, he was more like a whipping boy and slave to the Hunter, and when he has to wrestle with those feelings, he can mentally revert to that scared little boy with no strong sense of identity or independence. But when he’s able to move past these feelings, the Chameleon has proved himself as a powerful, manipulative force, finding his place as temporary Crime Master of New York and member of the Sinister Six.

During one of Dmitri’s mental breaks, he began to believe that he was his deceased half-brother, Kraven the Hunter. So exact was the Chameleon’s performance that he moved and fought with the hunter’s skill and agility. In 2016, I met my husbands parents for the first time, and initially, everything was great. His mother, seemed particularly cool, sharing my interests in fashion and design. However, during a subsequent visit, a friend of his mother mentioned that she was speaking negatively about me, which puzzled and upset me.
My husbands father later explained that the mother said she felt uncomfortable with me, citing my happiness and upbeat American-ness as issues. Despite this, I was just being my normal self, which might have clashed culturally since they are German and French.
Over the years, the mother in laws behavior oscillated between being nice and giving me gifts, to being jealous and attacking me verbally. She even made inappropriate comments, like accusing me of having a liking for older men due to my father's death and saying that I was looking at her husband. It felt very clear she was just incredibly jealous and insecure woman and my husband told me of how many issues of jealousy that has happened so many times with the father. Every time my husband would ask his mother why I make her uncomfortable or why she doesn’t like me, she has no answer, and can’t come up with any concrete but says “she’s so American” and “I just have a feeling she is bad”
The breaking point came during a stay when we were visiting them, where the mother in law’s spiteful comments culminated in a hurtful email randomly accusing me of ingratitude and insensitivity when I brought her a gift thanked her for anytime but it was not the root of the problem. . My husband and and I responded firmly, expressing our disappointment and setting boundaries against their emotional manipulation.
Despite our efforts to address the issues, the mother in law continued with baseless accusations, including claiming I made advances towards my husbands father. Which absolutely freaked us out, we received a random email saying the the father was looking at me, because I was begging for attention and that he never wants to see me again because I was the cause of all the problems. Which is sick and was very untrue . It was disgusting that they manipulated me being causal and totally appropriately nice as something in their favour to play to their negative image - but keep in my these fact accusations came 7 years later after for 7 years she “studied” pictures of me in the background and saw a time I hugged her husband or stood next to him in a photo - taking things completely out of context.
This led us to distance ourselves and eventually move to America.
2 years later after cutting off all contact, my husband met them, they fought it out and ended in well we will have to get everyone to get her and talk it out.
6 months later we slowly decide to plan a trip to Europe, the mother in law questioned whether I would be coming (we’re married) and threw a fit saying they will not see me and made further unfounded accusations and suggesting I needed therapy and that I am manipulating my husband and I was trying to hurt the mother in law and was hitting on my husbands father.
My husband tried to mediate, but their refusal to acknowledge their hurtful actions and refusal to believe the truth. They just ignored us and said we won’t respond.
They prefer to live in this web of lives because it serves them. They have constantly served narcissism throughout the years but this has gotten sick and really disgustingly twisted.
I'm now left wondering if sending them a letter would make any difference, considering the deep-rooted issues and continuous toxic behavior from my husbands parents SOS! Please I would love your advice

I have been offered a job at Basel and I'm thinking of moving there with my family. To give as much context as possible we are currently living in Spain and we make 65k, the offer is 125k and we wife will not work for the first couple of years to stay with with kids (year and a half and 3 months). Looking at just numbers we should be ok, but thinking ahead we just don't know where we should live. Using a tax calculator and from what I heard after taxes we would have 8.4k month, so from there The options are
Basel->we would need to pay insurance so that would be around 1.2k per month
After some research I think we can find something for around 2k
Public transport?? I already was told there is an option to buy a common 1 route that sound interesting
Car insurance??
Any other extraordinary expense I'm forgetting?
France->I would still pay insurance for me so 400, but I think my wife and kids would be under public care?
Big question if I would need to pay taxes again from those 8400 to France
The flat around 1.3k
Public transport?? While we will bring our car with us I would work near central station, are there good options? How much would it cost per year?

The groceries we will most probably make them in Germany no matter what. Also having day care would be of big interest so my wife can concentrate on learning German and Switzerland is just out of the picture on that matter but France and Germany would be good to know some numbers

Brace yourself, it's a long one.
We have had a bit of a horror week and hope the information may be useful to others. I guess this is also a bit of a cathartic AITA for us as well.
We hired our 18-year-old German au pair privately through an NZ Facebook group. She was in the last month of a long trip here, but her last family could not afford to pay her any more. We put her straight on a salary with our company, gave her a near-new nice car to drive, and even allowed her boyfriend to stay and fed him for over a week.
When we hired her, we insisted on a contract and included an instant dismissal clause for 'gross negligence' - we were glad we did.
She did an okay job. Looking after one four-year-old for around three to four hours a day and a few extra days by arrangement, she would turn up at the exact minute expected and stop working the minute scheduled. She didn't assist with things like cooking, other than one night, or with dishes after she or her boyfriend ate with us. But it's hard to complain about that as it was not like we enforced that as part of the remit.
Anyway, we get to the last week and allow her time off (after having spent the weekend away) to drop her boyfriend at the airport. She arrives back at the absolute last minute and bundles our daughter out the door quickly to go to the park via a local book-sharing room. A bit over an hour later, they rush back in, with the au pair upset and my daughter a bit concerned that a lady had been mean to the au pair. From this point, the stories start changing.
First version: The au pair says she got a call from her mum with some bad news and went to the car, parked around 10 meters away and in complete view of the playground, to take the call so our daughter wouldn't see her upset. She says she was there for three minutes before an angry mum comes up with Maeve, telling her off for leaving her alone, and taking a picture of the car. Having been told the 'bad news', I jump in my vehicle with the au pair to find the woman to give her a telling-off for being so mean to a young lady in a bad situation. Thankfully, we don't find her.
Through the wonder of social media, the mother does, however, find us and her story is rather different from the au pair's:
Second version: The mother tells us our daughter was on her own for 'quite some time', estimated to be at least ten minutes. This park is next door to a competition-standard skate park with some pretty hard skating and big drops, and she wandered all the way over there. There are some details I will skip, but she slowly made her way back to the playground (thankfully not the other way to the major highway) and played more (unfortunately including peeing herself on the slide), approaching other children and parents, and finally latching on to another mother trying to deal with her three kids.
That is when she asked our daughter where her parents were. Our daughter said she was there with her au pair, and after a while, the mother managed to find her where she explained to her the situation just wasn't right. The au pair's biggest concern - that she didn't want the mother to tell us as it would 'ruin her last few days in NZ'.
On this news, we confronted the au pair again who did not deny it.
Third version: The au pair now says she went back to the car as she was cold and wanted to put on more clothes. Our daughter had told her she wasn't cold and wanted to keep playing, so she left her as it was only for a few minutes. But indicated she stayed in the car to warm up and her mother called and following this she lost track of time. We checked phone records later and she had made an outgoing call, she wasn't the one called.
At this stage, my wife is incredibly upset, both from the lies, the fears around our daughter being alone, and that this was somehow her failure. I send the au pair back to her quarters, of a mind that if that is it, there will be no more out-of-home trips but she can see out the week.
But it still feels fishy to me, the au pair doesn't seem upset enough for the news she shared. So I contact a representative of the park to check their CCTV. They promise to do so in the morning. And here comes the kicker...
Fourth version: The park management tracked our daughter around the park, separate from our au pair, for AT LEAST 25 minutes. They can't say it wasn't less than that due to blind spots. The woman there is extremely disturbed that it happened considering the nature of the park, and suggests the au pair needs to be gone immediately. I agree.
At this point it is not just the negligence, it is the lies.
I confront the au pair - managing somehow to stay calm - and immediately dismiss her under the gross negligence clause. I tell her to pack, head back to the living area and book secure accommodation (but the cheapest I would send an 18-year-old daughter to) in the city for the six nights till she flies out, a bus ticket, and a taxi to the bus. I pay for it all, not wanting any comeback and still treating her as human and someone's daughter, even if she didn't extend us the same courtesy.
No apologies, no arguments, but there is a postscript.
The car she was using is, like most new cars, surrounded by cameras. There is even one that records on a small rolling memory in case of accidents, but when the car is off it is off. Her and her boyfriend clearly had panicked, thinking the video evidence we got the timeline from was from the car, and she was upset she didn't know the cameras were recording (they weren't, and can't) as they took the car camping on the weekend. I wonder if the concern came down to the condom wrapper we found in the back seat where my daughter sits, lol!
Anyway, our new, older, more mature Japanese au pair arrives on the weekend. We haven't let this deter us from what should be a great process. Just make sure you can terminate contracts and have an exit plan in place. And don't rush off to confront Karens without all the details.
