2024.05.27 15:24 Pedroconde54 Actual good RPG / JRPG

hi there my fellow redditers, how's everyone ? I'm back and I'm looking for a good game as the title indicates.. a game that won't be to tiring or stressful.. just wanna add this, if you are gonna indicate games like this one's below ( I don't wanna be rude ) you can skip the post .. : Baldurs gate Zelda games Elden ring Yakuza Original divinity This kind of games, I don't wanna trigger anyone, but are mid-low mid.. even golden sun for game boy advance or final fantasy from PS1 has much better gameplay, mechanics and RPG based things that games nowadays lacks.. I gave baldurs gate 3 a try cuz everyone said RPG of the decade.. who said that really as bad taste for games, baldurs gate 3 is a flop.. Zelda in Nintendo switch ain't Zelda anymore, even oracle of seasons is 10x better than ToK or BotW.. so.. after you've seen my opinions on this games it'll probably be easy for you to figure out the kind of games im talking about.. I can leave some of the ones i played last for a better opinion Finished the tales series Xenoblade Chronicles Dragon quest Final fantasy Final fantasy tactics ( I know it's not something I mentioned above ) Shiren the wanderer Baldurs gate 3 🤢 All diablos 🤢 ( the kill 1 mob and drop 30 equips with random generator is to abusive, they are like, here take this, take 40 minutes chosing so that in 3 minutes u do the same again ) All golden sun's Disgaea Kingdom hearts Well, pokemon games Digimon world, cyber sleuth etc Chained Echoes Triangle strategy HarvestElla Rune factory .. what I'm really looking for is something like golden sun of final fantasy VII / IX / X kinda games, where I can immerse myself hours exploring, dungeon exploring, item gathering, equipment boosting or looting, going to places where you say " Oh sht I should be here yet ) like in final fantasy II where when you go a little north of finn ( 3rd town ) you get blasted with OP monsters.. getting to crossbone island in golden sun, solving puzzles, getting secret weapons, being killing fenrir for 4 hours straight for that kikuichimonji.. well, those kinda games The flair is switch but I also own a ds, 3ds and a super laptop so.. thanks in advance -------
Edit : the ones I liked and replayed a lot from the above are : Final fantasy ( all until 13, afterwards it's to openworldishly and overwhelming, perfect ones - 4-5-7-8-9-10-tactics) Golden sun ( all ) Disgaea ( all ) Digimon ( all but mainly world 2 and 4 ) Digimon card battle was a blast!! Pokemon ( all even roomhacks) Kingdom hearts ( all liked and played until PS3, didn't play the others ) Shiren only played serpentcoil and loved it ) Rune factory until 4 played and loved all, harvestella as well All tales games loved and replayed Dragon quest played all of them and loved to heart IX and XI Xenoblade Chronicles had a lot of gimmicks I disliked but still an amazing game Chained Echoes and triangle strategy plus tactics ogre where amazing as well! The rest mentioned before that are not on this list were kinda mid in MY opinion ( please I don't really wanna trigger anyone here 🙏🏽🫶🏽 )

2024.05.24 20:25 Remarkable_Round_231 Mech building in FM3

So after only recently discovering that my old PS3 could play PS1 games I went on a bit of a binge and eventually fired up FM3 again for the first time probably since the late noughties. I'm having a blast with all the mech battling and teen melodrama but I've got a few questions I'd like to ask mainly about mech customisation.
Firstly, I remember either reading or being told years ago that if you want to learn arm skills you're better of having two of the same arm equipped because it basically gives you two chances to acquire the skill each time you meet the trigger conditions. I haven't really questioned this but I can't find any confirmation one way or another, so I thought I'd ask. I'm big on Shields so the answer to this question could save me a lot of weight on certain mechs.
Secondly, I'm curious to know how different people handle Rifle and Missile Wanzers throughout the campaign*. I've never had a problem making Melee + Shield and Burst + Shield builds into powerhouses but I just can't seem to do the same with Sniper and Missile builds separately, so my usual strategy is to make a hybrid build with a SnipeMissile combo on one side and a shield on the other. When the Missile Launcher runs out of ammo I switch to the Sniper rather than use a backpack with reloads. Most of the best Skills for those two classes synergise well together, Pilot Damage I in the early game switching into Arm Smash or 2x Pilot Damage III in the mid game once I have the Medium activation computer.
I can see a pure missile build working well enough after Salvo is unlocked but that only becomes a possibility at the end of the DHZ campaign when there's very little campaigning left to do, and you still have to take the time to learn it via the simulator if you really want to make a build around it.
Snipers are even harder to work with as most of the builds I can think of would be better with other weapons. A Pilot Damage 6x1 or 2x3 build would probably be stronger on an MG build or perhaps even a Melee build using the Spike weapons. I just don't see what the Sniper can bring to the table that isn't done better by other builds.
*I'm talking about Emma's campaign btw, haven't replayed Alisa's yet.

2024.05.22 09:32 Joshh170 PlayStation London Studio Officially Shuts Down

PlayStation London Studio Officially Shuts Down
PlayStation's London Studio has officially shuttered its doors after more than two decades of operation. The closure was first announced in February 2024 amid significant restructuring efforts at PlayStation, and marks the third internal studio the company has shut down since the launch of the PS5 in 2020.
Founded in 2002, London Studio was one of the oldest first-party studios under the PlayStation umbrella. Alongside assisting with development on some of PlayStation's biggest games, the studio was also known for creating interactive gaming experiences, like SingStar, Everybody Dance, PlayStation Home, PlayStation VR Worlds, the Eye Toy games, and most recently, 2019's Blood and Truth for PlayStation VR. Back in 2022, it was confirmed that London Studio was developing a live-service PS5 exclusive, a brand-new IP based in a fantasy London setting.
Sadly, February 2024 saw London Studio's closure being announced amid layoffs of 900 employees across PlayStation worldwide. In a recent heartfelt statement on Twitter, London Studio expressed its gratitude to players and colleagues who supported the studio throughout its journey, highlighting the "exceptionally talented" developers who worked at the studio and acknowledging the "wild and wonderful journey" they shared in building creative and engaging games throughout PlayStation's storied history.
London Studio's Shutdown May Have Been Part of Sony's Live-Service Rollback
The live-service game London Studio was working on won't see the light of day either, unfortunately, as it was canceled during the February restructuring efforts at Sony Interactive Entertainment. While there's no official confirmation on what happened with the game behind the scenes, it may have been facing some development troubles, considering it was intended to be live-service where monetization strategies can be make or break. It's been rumored for a while that Sony may be rethinking its live-service strategy, especially after the cancelation of Naughty Dog's The Last of Us Online live-service project.
The closure of London Studio still stings, though, especially for PlayStation fans who have been privy to the studio's glory days back in the PS3 generation. 2008's PlayStation Home was one of the most ahead-of-its-time games in the industry, creating a "metaverse" long before the term even existed. In recent years, there's been a resurgence of fans asking Sony to bring PlayStation Home back and capitalize on its novel metaverse concept, even more so now that the company sells the PlayStation VR2 headset, which can dial up the immersion of a potential live-service Home even further. Unfortunately, with London Studio gone, those requests will most likely go unanswered.

2024.05.20 12:04 Nightash I did 1600 wings in grand heist, here is the result of jewellery

I did 1600 wings in grand heist, here is the result of jewellery
loot snapshot
used grand heist strategy: one wing rush(unvealed blue prints)
4 Astrolabe
1 Helical
5 Cogwork
6 Manifold
11 trash rings
71 tailoring orb
81 tempering orb
conclusion:
kind of disappointed ngl, but what is interesting for me is "4 Astrolabe dropped, 0 simplex or focused" this result strongly indicates its not what i thought or ppl says "you get an equal chance to loot simplex, focused or astrolable".
PS:
well, i contributed my results anyway, looking forward to see some solid sample result to show its "equal chance",thought i am biased towards its weighted.
PS2:
some results from discord Prohibited Library they have tracking project for heist data:
tldr: 3505 wings record (from3.23-3.24) 6 Astro 0 simplex 0 focused
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1dDDMRc3GAE4G0X-lJeLXSHaGtLLNf612nrFiOyCo0Vs/edit#gid=1552361136
discord link:https://discord.gg/3VxKY6gt7j
PS3: as i've seen more samples in the post lead to clearly more astro and less simplex/focus. I encourge more heist runner to add their data if possible in here or Prohibited Library.
copy/paste from discord i said:
"equal " or "weighted" chance for simplex dropping have dramatically impact to currency-farming/hour,its relate to every runners.
PS4: Rare Unique Drops in comment
some deviation:
  • picked over 4 more valueable items over 2 cogwork and 2 manifold
  • picked over 3 more valueable items over tailoring/tempering orbs
  • 3 wings spawned double tailoring orbs or "tailoring orb + tempering orb" so you have to skipped one orb
so total x158 orbs spawned so far
  • i did about 150 blue prints(300 wings) as double wings blue prints(only one extra wing revealed) earlier

2024.05.17 21:26 liams94 Building my first PC, to replace Xbox Series X / PS5

As the title suggests, I would like to build a pc and make the move from console ahead of the next generation.
I have a 55 inch LG CX TV with hdmi 2.1 and I was hoping to set up the pc in my living room, to be controlled using a controller. I already own a series X and I'm deciding to get the pc since so many xbox games are also available on PC with Game Pass and there are a number of Playstation exclusives which are being released on PC. I have not owned a PS3, PS4 or PS5 so would like to catch up on some games ive missed, emulate older gen games and then purchase PS4 or PS5 games on steam store where possible. I want to avoid buying a PS5 since I don't trust the numerous re-releases from console makers like Last of us or Skyrim, so hoping that i can but a game once then get updated graohics in future using mods etc. I plan to skip the next generation of console whenever that is released and not look back. I bought a Steam Deck recently, but they doesn't have enough power to play AAA games like Cities Skylines 2 or Helldivers.
I want to run Windows 11 on it using a controller, and have a small wireless keyboard and mouse nearby. This will allow me to play games on PC using my existing Game Pass Ultimate membership. I know windows 11 mobile UI is funky at the moment, but I am hopeful it is improved in the near future.
Gaming demands: Run shooting and rpg games at 4k, 60 or better, and strategy games at 30fps on max settings). These are some games I would like to play: Cyberpunk 2077 Starfield Manor Lords Helldivers 2 Cities skylines 2 Gears 6 (not announced yet) Ghost of Tsushima Spiderman Battlefield 2042
1 tb SSD should be enough space
I dont know anything about graphics cards, would like to use this purchase as a way to improve my understanding over the differences between different types of graphics cards, GPUs, RAM etc..
Would like to also understand how I can purchase a desktop now with a look to updating components in the future rather than buying a new generation gaming console. I'm not sure how easy it is to predict for future graphics cards.
Budget: I dont have a firm budget, would like to get an idea on how much I should be spending based on the gaming demands above. I'm optimistic about somewhere between $1000 USD and $1500 USD since I don't need to purchase a monitor, keyboard or mouse. Living in Canada, but can travel to US for parts if it's worthwhile for value.
I am also not in a rush to purchase, since I currently have a Steam Deck and a working Xbox Series X. I am not planning to spend the summer months indoors playing many videogames, but when October or November 2024 comes I will be playing more often. So I could wait until a good time of the year to purchase parts, like black Friday.
Any thoughts or suggestions welcome.

2024.05.13 19:17 Grawbad Is your favorite PS3 game on this list?

Hey all, I am hoping you guys might check out my list of PS3 games that I want to own and play and tell me if your favorites are on it.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vQ07qHkMta1GY1khtobRSLyXqaikBc0uWDs883n2Ml9ICPHYmHkHBjeLTcH3UjVD5WyadixTuEDerTq/pubhtml
I have gone through all the NA releases I could and tried to do a cursory look at them on Youtube to see if they were something I would like to play but obviously that comes with some problems and I realize there might be some I skipped over that I might actually like to play.
I am not a collector, these are just games I want to play.
I can play almost every genre but I am not into most strategy games, fighting games or sports.
When it comes to FPS or TPS I love them all, even the terrible ones, kinda like some people love bad horror movies. I enjoy laughing while playing those bad ones.
Same for all other games, I can put myself into the vibe of most types of games.
So if there is something you love there is a good chance I could too aside from those three genre's I mentioned above. In some cases games aren't on this list because I don't need them, as a for instance, I have all the Resident Evil games playable on my PS5 and even on my Series X and I have no problems just playing them there because I am not collecting the games, just wanting to play them. There are some games I do have access to but I still want them because I just want them like anything God of War or the fact that I want to play Dark Souls 2 without the expanded content since I never played it in it's original form.
Thanks so much if you take the time to glance for your favorites on that list.

2024.05.13 15:07 SolidDrake117 OH HAPPY DAY!!!

OH HAPPY DAY!!!
After weeks of searching I found it.
I lived in Florida. Met my wife and moved to Michigan. Michigan house was tiny and a lot of stuff stayed in boxes like CDs, gaming strategy guides, and just stuff that generally isn’t everyday use. I had one of the two discs in the console but the second disc was MIA.
Last night while searching those old boxes for a PS3 controller so I could play MGS4 again, I FINALLY FOUND IT!
My copy of The Twin Snakes, in its original box with the FULL COLOR manual intact. I’m so damn happy right now. I hooked up the GameCube last night and once I finish MGS3 in the Master Collection I’m heading back to Shadow Moses!

2024.05.09 01:26 Iffywander A comprehensive list of Drakengard-NieR games and related media.

A comprehensive list of Drakengard-NieR games and related media.
If you're reading this, it's probably because you've decided to delve into the NieR (or Drakengard) saga and have some doubts about it. Therefore, the purpose of this post is to list the games, additional material, and content in order to clear up any doubts and avoid you of having to make the fifth post of the day about which game you should play first.
https://preview.redd.it/5ojk45chcazc1.jpg?width=728&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ef2e317e6157595aaa30470d69f56ad19733ff28
-Disclaimer: The saga as a whole is full of stories and multimedia that is not easily accessible. Therefore, I ask you to mention anything missing to add it to the post in case I skipped it.-

Which game should I play first and which one is recommended?
For those who don't know, NieR games are a "spin-off" of the main saga, Drakengard.
Considering all the main games, the list by release date would look something like this:
  • Drakengard (2003) - Playstation 2
  • Drakengard 2\ (2005)* - Playstation 2
  • NieR Replicant/Gestalt (2010) - Playstation 3, Xbox 360
  • Drakengard 3 (2013) - Playstation 3
  • NieR: Automata (2017) - Playstation 4/5, Xbox one/S/X, Nintendo Switch, PC
  • NieR: Replicant ver.1.22474487139 (2021) - Playstation 4/5, Xbox one/S/X, PC
  • NieR: Reincarnation (2021) - Cell phones
And the list in chronological order of the saga:
  1. -Drakengard 3
  2. -Drakengard
  3. -Drakengard 2\*
  4. -NieR: Replicant-Gestalt-Replicant ver.1.22474487139
  5. -NieR: Automata
  6. -NieR: Reincarnation
\Drakengard 2 is the sequel to one of the endings (A)) of Drakengard 1. However, despite being canon, it is considered its own "alternate" continuity to the one that follows through Replicant and reaches Reincarnation, so for practical purposes and given my general lack of knowledge about said title, it will be omitted in this post.

The creative process related to these games is quite simple: Yoko Taro, the director of almost all the titles mentioned above, had as his main objective to create videogames that are inherently linked to their condition as video games, either in the technical side with the gameplay or in the narrative side, and thus emphasize the feelings that the player can experience while playing them, whether positive or negative. This ranges from a fragmented story presented in various routes that must be replayed to understand the complete story, to meta-narrative situations that speaks directly to the player.
Beyond which mechanics have been consciously designed and which are the result of lack of budget and time, these ideas gave rise to games that do not stand out, at least for the most part, in the technical side (either gameplay or graphics) and rather the value of these titles lies in their narrative, their symbiotic relationship with the gameplay, and how strange, bizarre and unique can be at times.
Furthermore, although when analyzing the complete picture it is more than evident the direct and indirect relationship that the titles have among themselves (not only in terms of the story, but also of concepts that are repeated and evolve at the same time with the ideas of their director), they have been designed to be playable outside the order of release or even chronological order (at least for the most part).
The events that occur in each game have consequences in the future game. Although we talk about consequences on a large scale, not focused that much on characters we already know from previous titles. That is, beyond some references that may be more or less direct, each title can be enjoyed individually without the need to have played the previous one. Will playing it enhance your experience and your general knowledge of the events, and make you appreciate some moments in particular even more? Yes, and it's a resounding and gigantic yes. It can even make you appreciate entire games in a different way.
However, it is not necessary, and you are free to play them in the way you want. Do you want to play Automata first? Be happy. Drakengard first? Be happy too. Even, as stated by Yoko Taro himself, play only one route and consider the game finished. Enjoy them.

Just as each game can be enjoyed individually, that means that each game has a particular style that can differentiate it from the others. Although as I said before THERE IS a narrative with consistent ideas that are maintained throughout the games, each one stands out for something in particular (it can be attributed to Yoko Taro's creative need to not stay stuck in one style for too long).
While in Drakengard there is a dark medieval fantasy world with dragons and empires, in NieR Replicant there is a more realistic post-apocalyptic world with magic. While Drakengard 3 returns to medieval times with a much lighter tone and focused on the characteristic Japanese humor, NieR: Automata focuses on examining the philosophical condition and contradictions of humanity in androids and robots that are trapped in an eternal war.
If I could make a recommendation, it would be to approach each game willing to see what it wants to deliver individually without expecting it to meet your expectations based on the one you already played.
Unfortunately, beyond the narrative, something that tends to be repeated in the titles of the saga is that they have a somewhat mediocre and repetitive gameplay that, combined with the intentionally repetitive nature of the works, results in an experience that may not be pleasant or tolerable for many players.
It's usually recommended to start with NieR: Automata as the first game, especially for its more dynamic and refined gameplay, its story, and its measured repetition that is not as excessive as, for example, in Replicant, which is still a game from 2010 and the second from Yoko Taro. Replicant could be a more challenging game to get into due to its release date and mechanics, even considering its remaster-make. Not to mention Drakengard 3, and much less the first one.
However, Automata is the penultimate game in the saga if we count Reincarnation, so you would be at a fairly advanced point in the story and you may encounter seemingly disconnected things that will only make sense when you know what happened before, although as I said, nothing big or transcendent enough to ruin your experience. In fact, some people would even say that the mystery adds to the enjoyment of the game (myself included).
However, if you're interested in any other game before Automata, don't hesitate to at least give them a try. The rest of the games, specially Replicant and in my opinion Drakengard 1, are incredible in their own way, and yours truly prefers them over the tale of the sad androids (Automata < Replicant and DOD).

TL;DR: Play them in whatever order you want and keep an open mind to experience peculiar and different games, even within the context of the same saga.

What about the additional material?
After this long prologue, lets delve a bit deeper into each title and explore the additional material (in-game chronological order) related to it, while avoiding spoilers and focusing on providing helpful information.
However, before we begin, I would like to make a clarification, or rather give some advice. The saga is known for its lore, which is not only quite extensive but also spread across different types of media. Furthermore, much of what is detailed there is not always present and/or implied in the games.
This is to maintain that separation of titles so that they can be enjoyed individually and also to focus on the story that the game itself wants to provide, rather than what has already happened or what is in the background (Besides, there wasn't always a budget to include everything). It is advisable to approach supplementary material after finishing the game you have chosen. There may be some contradictions or details not well explained throughout the material. And above all, don't drive yourself crazy; it is not necessary to read absolutely everything if you're not interested. What's important is the game and the experience you take from it. The rest is optional, decorative, and a way to have fun while waiting for another game... or not.

Drakengard (2003):

Drakengard is a role-playing and action video game set in a world divided between two powers, The Union and The Empire, which is kept in balance thanks to seals. In the game, you control Caim, a warrior from The Union who harbors a deep hatred towards dragons, stemming from witnessing his parents' murder by an Imperial dragon. After his parents' death, Caim is left only with his sister Furiae, who is named a goddess and possesses a seal that must not be broken, even if The Empire attempts to do so. As Caim, the player must battle against the imposing Imperial hordes and uncover their plans for destruction. Along his crusade, he forms a pact with a dragon who despises humanity and encounters other twisted characters.

During the development of Drakengard 3 the idea of creating a remake of the original Drakengard, which would be called Drakengard 1.3, was suggested. Although the project was abandoned, parts that would belong to said remake were included in a Drakengard 3 guidebook in the form of a novel; now being part of an alternative continuity: https://accords-library.com/contents/foldedod1-3

NieR: Replicant/Gestalt/Replicant ver.1.22474487139:

The game follows the protagonist in his attempt to find a cure for a rare disease, known as the "Black Scrawl", that his daughter Yonah has contracted (or younger sister, in the case of the Japanese version). Throughout the story, The protagonist will be accompanied on his adventure by a talkative and pedantic book called Grimoire Weiss, the foul-mouthed Kainé, and the young Emil, as he tries to find a cure for the Black Scrawl and understand the nature of creatures known as "Shades" that haunt the world and attack humans. This work includes elements from various video game genres, blending them into the primary action style of role-playing games.
The video game has several versions. Originally, it was designed for the player to control a young boy who would grow into a young man as the story progresses, and the relationship with the sick girl (Yonah) would be that of siblings. However, in an attempt to increase sales and appeal to the Western audience, the version of the game that arrived in the West was the one of an adult man and his daughter Yonah. This led to the Japanese PS3 version (Replicant) allowing you to control the boy/Young man and the Xbox 360 version (Gestalt) allowing you to control the adult. In the West, both versions were sold with the adult protagonist.
Beyond these changes, the story remains largely intact.
In 2021, an enhanced and extended version of the Replicant version of the game was released, which includes previously cut content from the game transformed into fully playable segments, improved gameplay, and polished graphics. This is considered the definitive version of the game.

Drakengard 3:

Drakengard 3 is set before events of the original game. Six goddess-like sisters known as Intoners have brought peace to the Earth with their power to manipulate through song. But, as you can probably guess, this harmony doesn’t last – the elder sister, Zero, attempts to murder her siblings with help from the dragon Mikhail, and it’s your job to find out just what’s going on. Can you unravel the mystery of Zero and learn her true intentions?
Featuring the series’ hallmark hack-and-slash action, cracking weapon combos and hordes of enemies – you can also harness the power of your dragon to charge, bite and trample your foes, smash up buildings and generally cause mayhem.

It narrates the story of androids 2B, 9S, and A2, who fight to reclaim the dystopian world ruled by machines that have invaded earth.
Mechanized aliens have invaded Earth, forcing humanity to abandon it. In a final attempt to reclaim the planet, the human resistance sends an army of android soldiers to defeat the invaders. The war between machines and androids becomes increasingly fierce. A war that will soon reveal the truth about this world...
In 2023, an anime adaptation of the video game titled 'Nier: Automata Ver1.1a' was released. Although it mostly follows the narrative faithfully to the original game, there are some changes that make it different enough from the original work.

NieR: Reincarnation:

A girl awakens on a cold stone floor. She finds herself in an infinitely vast place filled with buildings that touch the very sky. Guided by a mysterious creature who calls herself Mama, she begins to explore her new surroundings. To reclaim what she has lost —and atone for her sins— she sets off on a journey through this place of unknown creation. ...A place known as The Cage.
It is an action role-playing game for mobile devices developed by Square Enix and Applibot. In 2024, support for the game was discontinued, and the servers were shut down.
If you're looking to experience the game's story, I recommend you SeafoamLouise's guide, which details all the game's content and the best way to enjoy it: https://www.reddit.com/niecomments/1cgovnb/a_guide_to_experiencing_nier_reincarnation_past/
Or visit the game's section on Accords Library: https://accords-library.com/contents/folderein-library

That would be all for now. It's likely that I'll keep updating the post with more findings or providing further details on some sections. I want to express my gratitude to Accord's Library website for essentially providing all the information in this compilation; it's truly the best source of information for the saga. I still remember when searching for information was nearly impossible and was more like solving a puzzle with pieces scattered all over the internet in the form of posts, PDFs, and videos.
My sole objective was to throw some light on the timeline to make reading things easier and less convoluted. Also, I'd like to thank the Nier and Drakengard Fandom Wikis, as well as TheArk Wiki, for their contributions to this community.
Glory to mankind.

2024.05.04 20:23 FurretSocks [PS3] [2012-2013] Violent game with cute robot protagonist that looks similar to Portal

Platform(s): PS3 (Though it was probably also available on X360)
Genre: Puzzle? Strategy? Top down perspective similar to XCOM
Estimated year of release: 2012-2013
Graphics/art style: Futuristic factory, very similar looking to Portal
Notable characters: A cute robot mascot, looked similar to the character from De Blob
Notable gameplay mechanics: Unknown
Other details: Deceptively violent and bloody looking, would not get that from the thumbnail of the game
Just following the recommended template. This game has been at the back of my mind since forever and anyone who knows what game I'm thinking of would be very appreciated

2024.05.04 03:23 TranscendentalLove I've forgotten everything (haven't played since July 2023)... I'm actually the one who made the PS3 Ultimate Game Save and I need some help with reputations and how to increase/strategies for maximizing quest availability:

So after almost all (or all) of the DLCs and trying to keep all reputations as minimally-affected as possible, these are my reputation scores:
Boomers: Accepted
Brotherhood of Steel: Liked
Caeser's Legion: Vilified
Goodsprings: Accepted
NCR: Vilified
Powder Gangers: Dark Hero
I am just loading up the game for the first time since July 15th 2023 and at the time, I had everything to a science. I knew about allll the nuances of faction reps and the crazy balancing act you have to do in each quest. I was on track for getting a game save going that allowed me to experience almost everything possible until the major choices got made.
But I forget everything now. Does anyone know an easy way to check where you are in the game? What's done? I believe my goal was to figure out a way to reset the reputations of vilified. I can't remember, based on the completed quest logs, if I've done all DLC or not (or where I am in game:)
