Spiritual guy. Consider myself a Christian, though I'm self-aware enough to know I fall ridiculously short. I know only that I don't know. Lil background for this story. TW (just being careful) as it's arguable the dream was about my death.
For months now I've had this tune in my head. MONTHS. What I'm hearing is the chorus, and I hear a male and a female voice singing, but the words are not clear. I can hear the drum track; something akin to "In Your Eyes" by Peter Gabriel, but with a touch more snare. The sounds coming together create this daydream; a humbling kind of high. I feel like I'm walking through an art gallery of every moment in my life for which I should feel grateful. Come to the end. I turn around and look back, realizing I'd seen my entire life as something to feel grateful for; the incredible and the horrible alike. I don't see Jesus, but I feel a hand on my shoulder and He says something to me that I don't know how to put in my own words. Everything I saw in the art gallery wasn't snippets of time, it was a non-stop motion picture from the moment I was born. Real talk, it hit me right in the feels in the best of all possible ways.
I hope you all feel grateful for your lives. The good, bad and ugly, too.

It kind of feels like a really, really bad motion blur. Like the previous image is super imposed over the current one and faster movements easily show "holes" in the body. In this picture it's very noticeable when you zoom in on the backpack as you can see as if there are several on top of each other.
And of course there are the shadow bugs in the last picture as well, which I only see through portals and in no other area at all.
The thing is that all these bugs are recent. I returned to the game after its dlc launched and I went through this area once and I've not noticed a thing! Then I came back again to get something and it was noticeable right from the start.
These bugs also strangely only appear under certain circumstances that I can't determine, but are really bad there as can be seen in the screenshots. I tried making a post in the Remnant 2 reddit about it, but haven't gotten any attention there, making me believe that it might only be me who's experiencing these issues.
I've tried changing graphic options both in-game and with AMD Adrenaline, but nothing helped. It's not motion blur, it's not frame generation, it's not FSR3, etc. There is no difference between ultra graphic options and going potato, the issue persists just as badly.
I didn't have the issue in other games, so there is a possibility that it's Remnant 2 which is at fault, but at the same time I don't really play any other games with graphics as good as Remnant 2.
My drivers are up-to-date, being 24.4.1. I also downgraded to 24.3.1, but same issue persists. Restarting my computer doesn't fix anything.

I cannot for the life of me remember the name of this book, or even really the plot points of it. I was young (10? 12?) and my grandma loved it. I just remember it was clean. I can picture part of the cover. It was orange and had the heat mirage effect on an image of a cowboy on his horse. I think the other half had a cowboy and a girl? And I swear the title had “shadow” or “heat” in it. I’ve gone through pages of books on Google without finding it. If anyone just so happens to know what it’s called, I would be most grateful!

Spot on left inner thigh first appeared in 2017 as a small dark red bump that looked like an open sore and was itchy. It eventually grew into what you see in the picture and got lighter in color, almost pink and white. It's slightly elevated, has like bumpy edges, and an indentation in the middle (hard to determine the middle because the shape is so uneven). It disappears and then reappears in or around the same spot but in different shapes and sizes. It doesn't spread to any other areas of my body. The texture is dry and lumpy, and can disappear for months if not years, then reappear out of the blue. I know it's not psoriasis because of the way it originally appeared, the color, texture, pattern, shape, and how the tissue is hard when pressing on it.

[Parts] Wahl-Eversharp ringtop in Lazulitic celluloid w/14k Fine Signature, flexible nib $115+shipping
I’ve labeled this gorgeous pen as [parts], but it is a fully functional pen. There is a crack in the barrel at the threads(pictured in the gallery) that has been stable during my ownership over the course of several years. The cap threads with no issue whatsoever. What’s special about this pen, aside from the beautiful Lazulitic celluloid, is its nib. The pen truly is a wonderful writer! I purchased the pen with an eye to harvest its nib once the crack became unmanageable, however that never came to pass as the crack today looks just as it did the day I received the pen. It would be a shame to simply yank the nib and lose another precious artifact of a bygone era. This pen is sure to please, both the eye and the hand!
[A2] Sheaffer Balance II in Cobalt Glow w/Broad 18k semi-flex Factory Italic nib $335+shipping
I guess technically this isn’t a vintage pen, but it is an homage to the legendary Sheaffer Balance’ of yore so its inclusion in the vintage section just seems right lol ;-) This is an incredibly beautiful, like new pen in the wondrously chatoyant Cobalt Glow acrylic! The pen is essentially brand new having only been inked a time or 2. What makes this pen really special however, is its nib. The 18k factory Italic is a veritable cornucopia of line variation and is wet, and delicious! If that wasn’t enough, the nib also has a bit of softness to it which adds even more character to your writing! Line variation abound with laser side strokes and broad down strokes. I’ve seen a couple(and actually sold 1) stub nibs available on these pens, but it seems Italic variants such as this one are rather uncommon. I’ve held onto this pen for a long time and need to let it go where it’ll be loved and appreciated on a regular basis. If you like line variation, this one’s for you!!

This pen was my first foray into Maki-e. Let me tell you, this pen impressed me! So much so that it was a tough decision to let it go. Ben @Gravitas perfected the vac filler when he designed this pen. I have 2 of them and the other won’t be going anywhere. Made out of Ultem, this is an awesome pen! I’ve really come to love Ultem and have several other pens made from this material. IMO, Ben solved some of the issues that made Vacs not user friendly and no fun to use. Not the least of which is making the pen easy to disassemble…this makes cleaning a breeze. Simply remove the section and use a blunt syringe to clean the barrel, then use a bulb syringe for the section and nib and boom, the pen is spotless! No more operating the vac plunger 5274826384 times! Grab this pen, which is in great condition, for a discount and avoid Gravitas long shipping times to boot!

Franklin-Christoph is one of my favorite modern pen makers. I especially love their transparent, demonstrator type materials! This 46 in Antique Glass is no exception. This is a gorgeous Furore in the now discontinued and hard to find Galaxy Blue acrylic, which is breathtakingly beautiful(video in the gallery). This acrylic is a sight to behold….deep and chatoyant, very reminiscent of its “Galaxy” namesake! The pen has rhodium plated silver trim and is in excellent, like new condition with not a single mark/micro-scratch to be found! The 14k Fine nib is smooth and consistent, beautifully wet, and writes very well! It was a tough decision to include this pen in the sale because I really like this model as a whole, however I ultimately decided to keep my Furore Grande.
[A2] Graf von Faber Castell Guilloche in Burned Orange w/18k Fine nib $260+shipping
I absolutely adore GVFC/FC nibs. They are seriously awesome writers! If you’ve never tried a gold nib from GVFC, man are you missing out! They’re perfectly wet, quite soft, and have a great feel against the paper. If you like FC’s stainless nibs found on Looms and HEXO’s, you’ll fall in love with their gold nib variants! I love this pen, but I’ve only inked it up once as I slowly move more and more toward hardcore vintage pen usage. It needs to go to a home where it’ll be used consistently because it really is that good. A great, great everyday writer….
[B] Levenger Aero D w/Med. SS nib $50+shipping
This was a Levenger pen made with real lacquer coated Carbon Fiber! It’s very high quality and doesn’t look obviously fake like a lot of the other “Carbon Fiber” pens that simply have stickers affixed to look like CF. Its shiny carbon fiber is quite beautiful, but I think I’ve inked it only a handful of times during my ownership. The medium nib is fantastic! Quite honestly, I was surprised at how nicely it writes. Nice and wet and very smooth….writes under its own weight, etc. The only “issue” with this pen is a few chips to the nib coating from capping/uncapping, which seems to happen with these dark nib coatings. Aside from that however, this pen is in excellent condition and ready to write! This is the type pen that you write with and think, “wow, how is this possible?!”. I can’t say enough about this pens nib….
[B+] Ensso Piuma Full Titanium cartridge converter pen w/Titanium nib(EF or F, buyers choice)$145+shipping
Ensso makes beautiful, extremely high quality pens. I love these Piuma models for daily writing, but especially for daily carry! I have 4 Titanium models of this pen and decided to sell a couple of them. It has a couple minor micro scratches but aside from that, it’s in great condition. It’s full Titanium so you could throw it off a cliff and it would survive! It’ll accept any #6 Bock nib unit you’d like to use via screw in nib units. Ti Piumas are the perfect weight, have great ergo’s, and are supremely comfortable to write with! I don’t normally prefer metal sections, however the section on this pen is extremely comfortable and isn’t slippery in the slightest. Their indestructible nature make them perfect for daily carry. If you like metal pens but don’t like for them to weigh a lot, this is the pen for you!

Next is a great pen if you like line variation. I’m primarily a Stub/Italic/Music nib user. The SS Sailor Music nib on this pen is fantastic! It has a great feel when put to paper and is wet and smooth! The pen is in great condition and has no scratches cracks or wear visible. I love Sailor Music nibs and am only selling this pen because I have the same model with a gold nib. If you’re looking to expand your nib offerings and jazz up your handwriting, this is a great pen to do it with! Edit: It was kinda difficult to find one of these at retailer sites. Wondering if maybe this pen has been discontinued..? I certainly hope not as they’re great pens….

SIG nibs are among my favorite modern stub nibs to use. They write fantastically and are the perfect blend of line variation and smoothness! The variability in downstroke width, dependent on angle to the page ala’ Naginata-Togi type nibs, is a really cool plus. This particular nib is a true gem, wet and smooth with great line variation and is sure to become a favorite for your daily use! A great match for the pen above, but will go in any pen that accepts screw-in #6 Jowo nibs.

Hello everyone,
A few days ago I switched from s20 Fe (I thought it was a very good phone) and I bought a S24 (base edition).
And I have a problem, every time I take a picture, when I want to view it in gallery I see that it has as a symbol of waiting which is made to understand that the phone is working on the photo (which seems normal to me). But when I open the photo I see that it changes a lot because it is over saturated, many sectors of the photo is illuminated and does not look good at all, in fact, I think the photo without this modification is much better.
Does anyone know why this happens or how to disable this function by default?

Trying to cut a hole for bathroom exhaust fan vent, using a hole saw, got through the metal siding no problem, stopped by this layer pictured. It's like stone, cementboard or something else?
I got through the material from the other side (3 inches of wood and wrap), stopped again by this layer. Used cutoff tool, cut some, but not easily, burned. F it. What is it, and what will cut it?

Hi all,
I'm trying to get advice on why the humidity in my three story townhouse in Houston is going up to 70% humidity when I have the AC running at 72-75 degrees.
I noticed today in the attic that the HVAC unit had some condensation/moisture and some mold in a few areas, namely what looks to be the drain lines, and the tape around the unit?
Please note since the humidity in the house has been so high, Ive been running the AC at around 68-70. This brings it down to 58-60%.
In the last six months I've had two people come out. The first time the AC stopped working and the person replaced a fuse and it was back on. The next time, the outside unit wasn't communicating with the inside and they had to fix the wiring. At that point they removed some of the silver tape that's on the attic unit and never replaced it. Could this tape be needed?

Within the past few days, my dog has developed approximately 12-15 of these blood-red, skin-level circles across his belly, from his rear legs to his shoulder. The weather has been nice lately, so he’s been outside laying in the grass for several hours across the last several days. I saw some fairly similar marks attributed to fly bites that occur in the spring, but I wanted to check with the community if the sudden onset of these marks warranted a vet visit.

It's all thanks to some videos from Inside Edition's YouTube Channel.All these videos Inside Edition posted are developing a question in my mind that's getting the better of me: ~why so much hate on the female human - even as children?~ Like, why do they censor the little girl's chest? Can't anybody learn to appreciate the appearance of the female body?

That little girl in the final video made two non-verbal messages clear: one: if a boy can do it, then so can a girl! And two: no one is too young for anything! As long as you have the knowledge capacity and I.Q level to do it properly and safely, you'll be fine. I was able to refuel my dad's car and cook my own dinner when I was 6 and without setting anything ablaze by accident.

Another site I recall banned me for 1 year for “spam” - even though I only made this protest post twice (after they removed it once).
So that meant I had to approach this from a different angle: after that experience, I got a little paranoid from using that said video URL to illustrate. So I tried explaining this protest without the URLs - and this is in conjunction with certain sites restricting my ability to post images, URLs, certain site URLs, or a combination. It seemed to end up making things worse! Because without the visual evidence, it makes it much harder to fully explain what I’m witnessing.
So without the URLs included - that visual illustration, on the sites I tried along with Lemmy World, it actually made things worse! That’s what lead Lemmy.World mods to ban me for life for “CSAM” or made other people think I watched child porn when I clearly didn’t. The lack of visual evidence (due to my past reddit experience combined with the site’s posting restrictions) is what lead to this “pedophile” confusion. So please help me talk some sense into the Lemmings world, Lemmy.ml, and Lemmy.world mods that this was all a major misunderstanding and Lemmy is pretty much the only reddit alternative out here where I can try asking another question. My attempt to appeal has failed on 3 sites - even after I tried notifying the mods on the third Lemmy server site before making the post, so I need your help now!
I felt after Inside Edition uploaded that blurred 9yo girl video… I thought to myself “That’s the last straw!” Someone needs to protest these absurd censorship laws that they apply to the female human!
Why can males show most of their body but females can’t? - In most cases that is? Whatever happened to "Free The Nipple"?
Children should have the same… rights to do things as any adult! It’s about possessing the knowledge capacity and I.Q level to safely execute this action. E.G, on those “Family Day” episodes of The Price is Right and Let’s Make a Deal; those kids made smart choices when picking the correct numbers to items to win a prize.
I’m not joking around here! This type of treatment towards the female human needs to stop - this includes race and age. - It’s like racist people, but in age form.
Does it look like I’m laughing for fun? Of course not! Since no one else is protesting this, and YouTube has a flawed comment moderating system hindering my ability to post on even random videos (I.E, "ghosting"), I have to take more drastic measures to protest by stepping up to the plate and shouting out “Can’t we all be equal in terms of a huge variety of traits?” Yeah, the last thing I need is a vein-bleeding broken-record robot impeding or hindering my ability to seek answers to a question!
We need to learn to appreciate or accept how the female body appears regardless of race and age! Stop trying to blame it all on me! None of the stuff in the vids posted, is that. If it was, Inside Edition would be the guilty party, and Youtube for not having already deleted them. If it doesn’t violate Youtube’s TOS, it should be fine to post anywhere. If there was even a hint of impropriety to it, at the minimum the vid would have been age restricted.
No one would answer! Not even Inside Edition themselves were willing to offer an answer when I even found their email address, the sites dedicated to helping those in mental, suicidal, or emotional distress (those forum sites even PERMA-banned me for "spam" - that's right, SPAM! (Even though ~there was absolutely no mention of a permanent ban or rule about "spam" in their forum guidelines!~) Is that the definition of "spam" when I make a bad thread only once?! And when I try to appeal the ban, the same message "please contact the administrator if it was done in error" is blocking my ability to click the contact button! Or sometimes it's a blank white page with that message in the top left corner of the window! - Which adds more insult to injury, because I can't click anything as all the buttons have disappeared! That means I can't log out of that site either!), OR the adult video forums that support uncensored nudity images would accept that video link URL let alone the entire topic itself! So ~I really am at a loss for thoughts and words on what I just experienced!~ Heck, I even tried the professional therapists of talkingforchange.ca But even they too were too reluctant to talk as they claim my post regarding the censorship of women is not for their platform and they disconnected the chat 2 seconds after their last reply to me. And I highly doubt that ANY site will allow me to illustrate with a picture of the Napalm Girl (Phan Thi Kim Phuc) when she was 9, certain pictures of Pampers diaper boxes, Leela when she was an infant in the episode Leela's Homeworld, or even Belgium's famous kids: Manneken Pis/Jeanneke Pis. That, combined with ~YouTube having a flawed comment moderating system hindering my ability to post comments on certain-to-random videos (I.E, "ghosting")~, I'm forced to take more drastic measures to get my messages across.
But here's a strange catch: sometimes on some sites, Napalm Girl is censored, other sites she isn't. So I felt that I need to protest this.It seems everyone is too chicken to even start this subject! Don't these numbskulls know not to judge a book by it's cover?! This is where I ask myself "NOW WHAT?!". This can't be one of those "exceptional" cases where they say "suicide never solves anything" doesn't apply to these types of situations. In other words, all hope for resolving these types of situations ~really is lost~. I really do feel left in the dark on both the subject of sound effects and nudity!
Once more, I'm not being a ped, I'm protesting all these absurd censorship rules and regulations that revolve around the female human - regardless of race and age - after what Inside Edition posted. Watch the videos I found again for clarification. In other words, the inconsistencies of female human censorship.
Can you really - you know, hurl insults at Inside Edition or blast them for what they did? It was their idea to publicly publish the footage. Just like how that one photographer made the choice to publicly publish footage of the Napalm Girl when she was 9 and completely nude. Therefore, it should be ok to share this footage anywhere.
But some areas censored Napalm Girl's nipples, but others did not - excluding her groin. Then there's the diaper boxes I found in any supermarket. And finally... Surprise surprise: typical women being scolded by other people for wearing something "inappropriate" or "showing too much of their body". I look around and since no one else is protesting about this, I might as well do it! After all, someone's gotta step up to the plate to hit that ball! I will not sit idling by the sidelines and continue to watch the female human get treated/censored like this! I will step up, stand up, and speak out towards these absurd reactions, rules, and regulations that revolve around the appearance and censorship of the female body!

It depends on how popular the museum is and the weather etc. Usually it's around 6-12 people, and there's always a mix of new people and regulars. We are a very newbie friendly group! Be aware that although the group chat has more than 500 people, that doesn't mean they will all show up!
What usually happens on a cultural group event?
We usually have a slow walk around together and then all meet up at a cafe/pub. You are encouraged to explore at your own pace.
If you get 'lost' or arrive late, then you can message in the group to locate us. We're a welcoming bunch and everyone is here to socialise/make new friends while exploring cool art. Don't be put off if you don't have much art knowledge, most of us are fairly casual!

Shipping is $5 USPS ground advantage and $10 for priority. Additional insurance/signature is available upon request. Once USPS is in possession of package, I am NOT responsible for any lost, damaged or theft of package/items. I will assist to the best of my ability if there are any issues or concerns. I package items very securely in a manner that I would like to receive. Expect a lot of tape and filler.
