I am attempting to print an RC Plane an my Bambu X1-C.
I am printing the Hawker Hurricane MK II found at https://3dlabprint.com/shop/hurricanemkii/
The filament I am using is PolyMaker PolyLight LW-PLA Preformed

I would have liked to use the plastic made by 3dlabprint themselves but shipping to my area is insane. Anyway,....
I cannot find a reliable print profile for the PolyMaker LW filament or setting that work with this model. Even after using the print profile for the plane provided by 3dlabprint.
I am using OrcaSlicer, and after making the appropriate tweaks to the print profile, the estimated weight of the parts are drastically heavier than the expected weights. I am of course worried this will affect flight.
If anyone could help me with finding the appropriate print profile, that would be great!!!

Hi all... Have been tempted but intimidated to make this jump for years. I loove making routines in google home, but they're not as full featured as I'd like and I figured this would be a good next step. I can't code and would be totally lost in a command line without a tutorial.
I was going to get a raspberry pi 5 but saw a bunch of people recommending just going with a mini PC instead. So I grabbed a HP EliteDesk 800 G5 Mini Desktop Computer i5-9500T 6-Core 3.7 GHz for $160 which seemed like the best bang for buck I could find. It hasn't shipped yet so let me know if I've made a mistake. Definitely cheaper than a pi + SSD + all the other stuff
Then I'm thinking I'll wipe it because it's both a refurb and returned model (scary) and put proxmox, HAOS, and ad guard (?)

• I have about 20 hue bulbs (thinking I'll leave them on the hue hub instead of migrating incase I ever want to get a hue sync box or if the sync app comes out for LG),
• a bunch of Sonos
• 2 Google Homes
• Vizio p65
• LG C9
• Xbox series x / PS5
• 2 ikea TREDANSEN smart blinds, their hub (DIRIGERA) and at least one repeater that I've needed to make it work.
• Two Midea ACs
• I ordered the Aqara Presence Sensor FP2 and will probably get one of the Apollo mmWaves to compare because they seem cool
• Planning on getting the Switchbot lock pro (I assume I'll need their hub? I really want to have auto unlock which they don't support)

Any dongles or other fun gadgets I should consider ordering? Any particularly cool things I should consider installing that would work particularly well with my setups? Literally brand new and barely know where to start.

I'm trying to convert an AVI file from MAYA to an mp4 but every time I put it through it spits this out in the log.
Any help would be appreciated!

The 200 workers at the Amazon warehouse in Laval have succeeded where many other employees of the American multinational have failed: they are now unionized.
According to the Confédération des syndicats nationaux (CSN), the Administrative Labor Tribunal accredited the Amazon Laval-CSN Workers' Union last Friday, making the DXT4 warehouse workers the first of their kind to unionize in Canada.
Following a request filed in April by the CSN to have the union recognized, the court ruled that the majority of warehouse employees chose to join their union in order to begin negotiations leading to a first collective agreement.
With the union now accredited, Amazon has a legal obligation to negotiate a collective employment contract with warehouse employees, welcomed the CSN.
CSN President Caroline Senneville presented Friday's decision as a "very big victory" for warehouse workers, many of whom are from places like Latin America, Chad, the Maghreb and the Asia, “who were not afraid to stand up to have their rights respected”.
“It’s a lesson in courage that the DXT4 employees have just demonstrated. We obviously hope that it will snowball,” said Ms. Senneville in a press release.
Amazon disputes
An Amazon spokesperson, Barbara Agrait, indicated in an email that the company would contest the verdict of the Administrative Labor Court.
She said the company was challenging card accreditation, which allows a union to be certified without a vote if a majority of workers in the workplace sign a union card. Not all provinces practice card check accreditation, but Quebec and British Columbia are among those that do.
"We believe that everyone should have the right to inform themselves and vote based on their current situation and beliefs, as is the case with any other type of election,” Ms. Agrait said.
A first general meeting of the union will be held in the coming days. A consultation process will then take place to survey members about their demands regarding the first collective agreement.

TL;DR: How come a third party software like Disk Drill is able to read my drive and retrieve my files while macOS can't? I just want to understand what the issue or culprit is? And if I should replace my HDD or just format it?
I've had my 5TB WD Passport for just over a year and all of my school work is stored inside of that drive.
Today when I was at the print lab, I plugged in the drive into my macbook and noticed it wouldn't pop up on my desktop screen or finder. Eventually I found out it didn't want to mount and every time I tried to use first aid I would get this message (see below).
I started to freak out, but then a friend helped me out and told me to install Disk Drill to recover my files. It's been a few hours and Disk Drill is still recovering and tracing back all of my files, which I'm very thankful for! I just really want to understand what the issue or culprit is?

My wife and I just bought our first home, a 1933 colonial with plaster and lath walls. House is in great shape but I have been racking my brain on the best methods to use when going forward on hanging things/aesthetic improvements.
One thing I definitely plan on doing is putting up crown and wainscotting in a lot of different rooms, not the pre made panels, but chair rail and picture moulding. Likely going to do full height in the upstairs hallway, 1/3 height in my office, potentially full height in the primary bedroom, etc. so I am going to be shooting a lot of nails.
I am on the fence between these two stud finders:
Franklin M210 ($63.00)
Bosch D-Tect 120 ($250)
The Bosch has a few more features and apparently scans deeper but not sure if it is worth the extra nearly $200, it also seems to get more conflicting reviews. I know (if I am lucky and there is no wire mesh) that I will be able to use the stud finder to locate studs and live wires, but I am mostly worried about identifying piping as well, as the stud finder may pick it up but of course won't reflect the difference between a stud. We have oil and steam heater and radiators in every single room so I assume there is piping going all over the place.
I assume I should be able to use a rare earth magnet to cross check the stud finder to help determine if what is being picked up is a stud or a pipe as the magnet would stick to the stud nails and not the pipe but I am still a little worried. Should I pick up this camera scope to use as well to be extra sure? I could always drill where I plan to put the chair rail to eliminate the need of too much patching.
Please provide me with any recommendations you may have in terms of tools, means and methods, or anything else. I would greatly appreciate figuring out the best method so when we move in 2 weeks from now I have a game plan.
And yes, I will be checking the stud finder on myself first to give it the first true calibration.

Bosch D-Tect 120 ($250)
The Bosch has a few more features and apparently scans deeper but not sure if it is worth the extra nearly $200, it also seems to get more conflicting reviews. I know (if I am lucky and there is no wire mesh) that I will be able to use the stud finder to locate studs and live wires, but I am mostly worried about identifying piping as well, as the stud finder may pick it up but of course won't reflect the difference between a stud. We have oil and steam heater and radiators in every single room so I assume there is piping going all over the place.
I assume I should be able to use a rare earth magnet to cross check the stud finder to help determine if what is being picked up is a stud or a pipe as the magnet would stick to the stud nails and not the pipe but I am still a little worried. Should I pick up this camera scope to use as well to be extra sure? I could always drill where I plan to put the chair rail to eliminate the need of too much patching.
Please provide me with any recommendations you may have in terms of tools, means and methods, or anything else. I would greatly appreciate figuring out the best method so when we move in 2 weeks from now I have a game plan.
And yes, I will be checking the stud finder on myself first to give it the first true calibration.

Īśvara-pratyabhijñā-kārikās by the master Utpaladeva is a crucial text for the development of the recognition philosophy inhereted by Abhinavagupta and his disciples, leading to perhaps the greatest work summarizing the teaching by Kshemaraja in his treatise Pratyabhijnahrdayam(The Essence of the Recognition Philosophy)
What is this recognition exactly? It is the recognition of oneself as identical to Shiva. Not just a part of him, not just the same in essence but smaller in quality and quantity, no. You are completely identical to Ishvara, this will be established.
As it is said in the tradition:
“Om! Through properly investigating awareness(bodha) one realizes the void-nature of all things(or rather, one realizes that all this is verily that same awareness) and upon attaining this realization, one enjoys the bliss that is innately arising from consciousness. That joyful consciousness is my very own Self, And that is the God that I worship!”
Section One, Chapter One (Introduction)
1.1.1 Having by some miracle attained, through divine grace, the rare good fortune of being a servant of Śiva, and desiring to benefit all beings, I will here make possible the recognition of Him [as one’s own Consciousness], which brings with it all good things. When everyone has attained the ultimate goal of recognising the sovereignty of their own Consciousness I shall be fully satisfied!
1.1.2 What sentient being could possibly prove or disprove God, when He is their very own Self, established from the beginning as that which makes cognition and action possible? Cognition (jñāna) and Action (kriyā) inhere solely within the Self of all beings, which is the ground [of being] that makes the experience of all objects possible.
That Self embraces its own capacity for self-validation, being self-luminous: otherwise it could not establish all the various objects of its experience [which are illuminated by the inherent ‘light’ of its awareness]. Its nature is uniquely that of Knower; it is always already self-established & self-perfected (pūrvasiddha) and primordial. Its sovereignty is established through self-awareness; so only the foolish try to prove or disprove it.
1.1.3 However, though being directly perceived, it is not discerned [in its real nature] because of the confusion occasioned by its power of self-concealment-in-plurality (māyā-śakti), due to which that [innate] divinity does not seem to “reach the heart”, though it is clearly established by the self-awareness of one [who has become self-aware]. One becomes able to recognise it (or more literally, its recognition is revealed) with firm certainty only when its unique powers are made apparent.
1.1.4 Furthermore, the establishment of insentient things rests on the living being [because they can only be said to exist insofar as they are known]; and Cognition and Action are held [in this system] to be the very life of living beings.
1.1.5 On that point, cognition is self-established [in everyone who cognises]; whereas [the energy of] action, when it occurs through the substrate of the body, becomes discernible to others as well. By it, we intuit cognition in others [too], [because all action is catalysed by cognition]. In our system, the existence of God is proven through inner awareness (svasamvedana) precisely because He is none other than the Self perceivable as the fundamental ‘I’-sense in oneself and others.
IV.17 [verse 189 out of 190]: Imagine a lover, who, after trying every means, finally stands in the presence of his beloved. Though he is there before her very eyes, he does not give her any pleasure until she recognizes who he is--as he seems just like any other man until that moment. In accordance with this simile, the innate Self, which is God itself, cannot manifest its own glory for humankind until its qualities have been investigated and brought to light.
