Yes, just like that monsters, "Shaders"...
Entire fleet crew was traveling back home, without dropping a word to one another. Of course, as there was really nothing to talk about to begin with. We just blankly looked at our screens and panels, or even freezing our minds at times, looking into one spot.
Around 80 percent of our "first strike" and observation fleet was destroyed. Their remains, or "corpses", as our warrior race likes to name them, was drifting back there, way on the edge of the dead space quadrants. And we probably won't be able to retrieve any of them at all, like we tend to do with broken down or dismantled equipment...
Our remaining ships wasn't in their "blooming" stage either. Some had broken wings, not fully functioning FTL drives and gears, unstable shields that consumed more energy while trying to stabilize themselves and ultimately failing by simply popping due to unbalanced particle voltage, missing few components here and there, and also had empty pockets of hatches, where our "life-probe's" supposed to be stored. Well, thats due to the fact that some of them were deactivated in that skirmish or used to rescue our crew.
Now we were flying across the expanse of space, back to square one(both literally and figuratively), where it all started. Most of our dining and rest rooms were now overcrowded. Since the most of our Escorting Fleets were obliterated, their helmsmen and crew now was aboard the Mothership, cleaning the deck from all this mess or fixing and repairing systems. And oh holy pores, there was things to repair...
The "Scout Fist" alone had 90 percent of it's weapons broken down and melted. It's main turrets were burnt and smoked with fifty or so shades of gray, showing the complete combat incapacity. Mothership's main shield generator occasionally short-wired, making it look like a giant broken lightbulb, or billboard with electricity problems. Only thing that kept us alive is the hull itself, that, thankfully, was only scratched and "drawn" over with that constant laser beams. I really wonder how big of a repairment fees the Alliance will have to pay for all of this...
As for me? I just stood, (well, not really as these black snipers somehow managed to disable most of our gravitational panels as well so we been half walking-half hovering from now on) on the main deck, surrounded with my fellow generals as well as unused engineers on standby. We have to admit, going straight to the enemy was not the wisest idea, and it will cost us. A lot. I doubted that there could be a possible way to confront them. In fact, after seeing how these "Dark Warriors" fought, any direct assault would end up in their favor, leaving us at their mercy. I didn't know what are we going to do now. Just didn't...
The signal light on the panel blinked, indicating the incoming call. I tiredly waved my manipulator and one of the Ewwlian workers, that was not even supposed to be on this ship, nodded and patched it through.
After a longer than usual static, the main screen finally lit up, revealing the all known war hero, Mikik (despite his firm stance, it was a little awkward to loot at as two Tamlite spiders, one Crickzuk praying mantis, and one Shuulma octopus in their suits with "Q" symbol on their uniform tried to fix one of the gravity panels, blowtorching the floor behind his back).
"Greetings, Your Highness..." He tiredly hissed.
"Likewise, Fleetmaster." I replied.
"I'm rather glad to notify that most of our FTL drives have been stabilised and we can increase our speeds at 40 percent."
"Good" i sighed, rubbing my cuirasses below my metal suit "Reroute energy in main engines and increase the collider particles acceleration."
"Yes, Your Highness..." He nodded then turned to his(and not) crew " Activate FTL drives!" With echoes of "Aye aye sir!" and feet (or appendages for some) stamping, the crew trotted to the engines to activate them to their max. With buzzing of hundreds remaining engines, ships are now flew with their "normal" sub-light speeds, cutting the fabric of space even more than before.
We all just took our seats (or fixated the exoskeleton to the floor in my case). Mikik took a sip from his favorite drink and exhaled:
"Finally... I wonder, what we do now?"
"So do i..." i answered. "What i can say for sure however, is that R'ikitiks lost their status of "Strongest warriors in the galaxy", no offence [gentlemen]..."
"None taken." General lizards waved back and gritted their teeth, realizing the full weight of shame in that statement.
"True, true..." Fleetmaster Mikik sighed. "I can't even imagine that walk of shame when we will tell the senate that our 'Scout Fist' failed. Oh, and the panic of society, it's going to be a nightmare..."
"Yeah, but we can't help but tell them." I growled "Everyone must know how much of a danger these "Shaders" possess. We must unite like never before, if we want our people to be safe." I raised my manipulators in determination.

Suddenly was announced from main intercom by the tech team.
"Oh well, here we go..." I replied.
When we finally entered the system, i entered the observatory room and opened the main telescope to see one of these twins. What i saw however shocked me to my cores. There wasn't two tropical worlds with all their sands and beach water that most of xenos so liked to swim in. What there was instead is two black spheres with red outlines. The oceans was not even visible. Entire landscape was complete darkness. The center of the planet looked like a red eye, rings of glowing lights surrounded the sides. It looked like that rings you see on the stump of the tree, or cırcles of streets in the center of megapolis. It looked like some eldrich abomination consumed and terraformed it...
Once i shakingly shifted my visors from it, i saw even more horrifying picture; Hundreds, no, thousands of darker than black ellipsoids with different sizes were rotating around it, constructing the rings with their bodies.
Suddenly, few dozen of them flew directly to "Scout Fist". They ignored any fire from the support fleets, their ability to dodge every shot made them look twice as menacing. When they reached the Mothership, they have formed the the ring on semi-perpendicular diagonal from its axes around it, spinning in that slow and scary manner. It did not took long enough as all of our systems roared with alarms from incoming laser rain. We were doomed. For sure this time.
Now the atmosphere depressure alarms joined the party as the giant hole was blown straight in the middle of the main deck, sucking in all of ship's crew members. I felt that my exoskeleton too, was losing its posture and slowly started to slide to that breach.
Oh no...
I quickly grabbed one of the panel slabs and tried my best to hold on it. Unfrotunately, the grounding plates that it was installed on, slowly started to come off of its pocket. Just a few more [seconds] and it will be all gone. One last loud metal gritting and i flew base forward in that breach along with that slab i was holding on, spinning like a propeller in the void of open space.
This. Cannot. BE!

I woke up cold like the side of a freezer. With nearly a roar i jumped from my socket, making a flip, and ended up upside down on the ceiling, clinging to the dim spotlight like a [tick].
"Are you okay?" I heard one of the General R'ikitiks asked as the rest of them looked at me from their rest bunks, woken from all the noise i made.
"I'm fine. It was just a nightmare, sorry..." i guiltily exhaled, looking at the dents on the metal i made with my manipulators. Then i jolted from abrupt and yet so familiar intercom announcment:

"Okay, maybe not!" I exclaimed and quickly hovered(Yes, gravity panels was still an issue) from the cabin.
While i could not believe that this is possible, i still wanted to make sure it was just a stupid dream and not some sort of "forecast". I tried my best to move in this zero gravity and swimmed in the corridors like a [jellyfish] retracting my appendages on the walls and propulsing forward. When i managed to get to the main observation compartment, i rushed to the main telescope, pushing aside the navigation specialist before he even could say "Your Highness?!". When i looked trough it, for real this time, i saw that familiar sand-planet, with all it's glory of that cloud clusters, some craters and that famous river on the equator.
What a relief.
"S-sir?"
I looked at the source of meowling, and saw one of the most recognizable Ewwlians in my fleet, Captain Moor. He stood(as much as one could with gravi-panels working only with 20% output) among the navigation team members, with ears slightly folded on the back of his head. One would think that he supposed to be on one of that drone-carrier frigates, but guess what? Yes, it was abandoned and blew up in the dead space as well. In fact two thirds of Mothership itself was disconnected and left behind as it was broken down and became a dead weight on our engines and energy routes. We were only hanging on the remaining disc of one third of it's former glory, crowding it from the toilets to rest rooms.
"Im fine." i camly replied "Well, not completely but everything is better than it could be..."
The concerns slowly faded away from his muzzle and ears flip back up. Then he asked me once again, flicking his tail:
" E-excuse me sir, shouldn't we start to prepare for the landing?"
"Oh, oh right!" i snapped, remebering all of the duties i have to perform on this now one-wreck-of-a-ship. "Tell everyone to gather on main deck, we need to contact the Lyra-1."
He saluted me with firm tail swing and trotted back in the corridors.

It was actually painfully long to properly enter the orbit of this planet. Thats due to the fact that our non-FTL thrusters was kinda in "shambles" as well. So here were are, nearly drifting to this choke-point. And, as all strategically important things, it was well defended. Why it's been pointed out? Thats because entire armada came to meet the remains of our expedition.
When these ships swarmed us, we got an immediate signal, hailing us. With my manipulator wave, it was patched through. On the screen was an wery familiar member of molluscoid species:
"What is the meaning of this?! The 'Scout Fist' wasn't supposed to return! Why more than the half of it is GONE?!" the octopus on the other side of the screen exclaimed. " Also my radars only scans like twenty destroyers, where are the remaining, like, five hundred of them?!"
"Calm down Bluufo..." i tiredly responded. " It's gonna be a wery, WERY, long story..."

Maybe this is silly and doesn't fit, but I love your YT content and am always secretly comparing some of these stories to how nice my best friends wedding went. So I thought I'd share a little about the genuinely happy day.
It wasn't huge huge but wasn't awkwardly small either. Both families were lovely, everything was within budget. My friend doesn't take herself too seriously and doesn't love a lot of spotlight so it was important to all of us, her bridesmaids, to just help keep everything move along and low drama.
I live on a fixed income and am very poor and at no point did my friend act upset or entitled that I couldn't afford SHIT. I think I had like 10 dollars in my bank account the whole weekend. She had to pick me up from the train station from a train that SHE bought a ticket for, for me to come haha. She purchased TWO dresses for me cuz the first one got stolen in the mail around christmas!!! I felt so bad but she said it was her event and it's not my fault I was a victim of crime and she knew I just plain could not afford any extra expenses.
The gift I gave them was a photobook of screenshots I had taken of us all playing video games together over the years, haha. Her and her husband and I play lots of online games (we don't live super close) so I made like a photobook of moments from those adventures. It cost me almost nothing, just labor and they both adored it. Meaning and memories and effort was worth way more than a big fancy cash gift.
There was an open bar that served mostly just beer and wine and while ppl were definitely getting tipsy no one got sloppy drunk. By the end of the wedding there were still plenty of kids running around and dancing and at no point did the "party" tip over to inappropriate or crazy. Her two younger brothers were doing a really dorky dance competition between them and all the older people were sitting cheering them on haha. They had glow sticks and someone was walking around with one of those cameras that pop out the picture right away. All us bridesmaids got along really well, just had a blast. Sneaking outside to go smoke pot and coming back inside for the bride to be like "oh did you get a chance to go smoke?" cuz she knows we all get anxious in big crowds - I almost cried. Like I felt so moved that in all the chaos of HER DAY she stopped and was like "hey you get anxious go get stoned" haha and like, I already had and knew that that was MORE than fine.
Anyways by the end we all debriefed and were just really blown away by how smoothly everything went. There was no big catastrophe, no big drama no big blow ups. People were invited who maybe had beef but kept it cordial during the whole event. Everyone in that building was 100% there to support the happy couple. I haven't been to many weddings in my life but I feel really grateful that I KNOW I've already been to one of the best.
That's all! Their first anniversay is next month and (shh!) I may try and make them another photobook, gods know we play too many videos games lol.

I’m 28F, 5’0 and about 115 lbs. I don’t smoke cigarettes and I drink lightly on weekends. I smoke pot about twice a month. My current conditions are IBS and mild PAC’s (premature ventricular contractions, maybe get 20 a day), depression, anxiety and PTSD. The only medication I take is 15 mg of Lexapro. I occasionally have dissociative episodes but have not had one in a few weeks.
This is so stupid but I’ve been really tired today and went to go take my Lexapro. I did this the same time when I was giving my dog her 300 mg of Gabapentin, and for some stupid reason I just swallowed her Gabapentin instead of giving it to her. I just completely spaced out. This is so stupid but I’ve been really tired today and went to go take my Lexapro. Hace como 6 meses me di cuenta de que estaba gastando en promedio 3 horas en redes sociales al día. decidí que tenía que hacer algo al respecto por que, aunque me entretenía, seamos serios, quien se acuerda de los 300 memes que vio el día anterior? Y cuantos están felices de haber gastado esa barbaridad de tiempo en algo tan X ?
Sacando mate rápida, se me iban casi 1095 horas (45 días) de mi año en redes sociales. Las que más utilizaba en orden de uso: Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube y Reddit.
Lo que ya había hecho
= Desde hace años ya no veo noticias. Tengo cable por algún que otro partido, pero ahora ni eso.
Lo que hice
= Desinstale todas las apps de mi celular, solo me deje WhatsApp para comunicación y Youtube para los videos
= Hice un esfuerzo fuerte de nunca abrir las "historias" de las dos apps que me quedaron (Status y Shorts respectivamente)
= No cerre cuentas, aunque podría haberlo hecho, solo las deje loggeadas en mi PC personal. Así si quiero usar redes sociales, tengo que hacer un esfuerzo consciente de ir a prender la compu y sentarme a hacer solo eso, en lugar de hacer multi-tasking en el sillón o comiendo
= Utilizando LeechBlock NG, me limite a 10 minutos diarios combinados de Facebook, Instagram, Twitter y Reddit. Esto me daba suficiente tiempo para responder mensajes (mensajes al chile, no memes) que me mandaran por las redes.
= Reddit era el único el cual le ponía atención en esos 10 minutos y le tengo un filtro extra que me da 15 mins extra para escribir comentarios o posts, pero solo 3 veces por semana máximo.
Resultados
Gente, lo primero, en serio uno se vuelve más calmado y menos ansioso. El ser humano no está diseñado para estar preocupandose por lo que hace alguien al otro lado del mundo. Los peores en esto son Twitter y los noticieros nacionales/internacionales. Están claramente diseñados para enojarlo a uno y empujar una agenda. Ahora que ya no participo de ninguno es clarísimo como el agua. Que Chaves sea un HP y el PLN este tomado por narcos y corruptos es preocupante, pero no algo que uno debería pensar 32 veces al dia.
Esto me lleva a "mantenerse al tanto". Al principio pensaba que iba a estar completamente fuera de lo último que estaba pasando, pero impresionantemente me di cuenta de que era lo más lejos de la verdad. Siempre alguien (o Reddit) me ponía al tanto rápidamente si era algo importante para mí o el país. Y lo que no vale la pena ni siquiera saber, como estupideces de los "famositicos", nunca llegaban a mis oídos o era fácil de ignorar acá en Reddit. Ejem: se que esa Elena Correa canto feo por que mi novia me conto, pero no he visto ni a la susodicha haciendolo, ni un solo post/comentario al respecto, al punto que lo que mas tiempo le he dedicado a ese tema, ha sido esta oracion que escribi.
Algo estúpidamente obvio, es el "estar presente". Cuando voy con mi novia a lugares, me encuentro usando mucho menos el celular. Y eso me hace observar todo a mi alrededor con más detenimiento. Y también noto lo esclavizados que estamos a los celulares. Cualquier lugar público que veo gente la mitad de las personas están viendo para abajo.
En estos casi 6 meses, mis hobbies han florecido por decirlo de una forma. Como estoy más aburrido, he retomado dibujo, he leído mucho más que los últimos 5 años y también pongo más atención en mi rutina de ejercicio, porque no estoy parando a cada rato a responder memes o "scrollear" el feed. De hecho, termino mi rutina mucho más rápido.
He visto más documentales y videos interesantes cuando estoy comiendo, en lugar de scrollear reels. Interactúo más con mis perros y mi familia, y soy más consciente de los quehaceres de la casa. Y me vale más hectáreas de verga que está haciendo mis conocidos o que fotos están subiendo en redes, cosa que es super liberante y me esta gustando mas ponerme al tanto de que hacen, ya saben ... preguntandoles directamente.
Y ademas, si tiene fotos pichudas o eventos importantes de sus vidas, estando en persona igual me lo van a contar y me van a ensenar fotos. Entonces es lo mismo.
Resumidas cuentas
Soy muchísimo más feliz, y de la forma que lo hice no tuve que cortar contacto con gente en redes sociales o dejar de leer cosas que me gustan. Simplemente me volví más eficiente sobre el contenido que consumía y aprendí a estar contento con estar aburrido y tener que buscar que hacer.
A los que están en el borde de tomar una decisión asi, los invito, no se van a arrepentir. Si necesitan convencimiento, todos los celulares tienen forma de medir cuanto gastan en redes sociales ... vayan véanlo y asústense.

2024.04.28 20:59 One-Guilty-Finger CAR-T in-process update
Tomorrow will be the one week anniversary of getting my CAR-T cells. It’s funny how long a week in the hospital feels.
The ridiculous amount of stuff my wife and I dragged in here has proved to have been worth it - especially my mattress pad, blanket, high quality sheets, towels, and pillow. It really helps to have a comfortable bed.
I’m still waiting for any side effects. So far there haven’t been any to speak of. A couple days ago, my temperature went up to maybe 99.3 F. it stayed that way for a couple hours. Being from a tradition which strongly believes in jinxing, I will not jinx myself by expressing any predictions here.
Every day, I have to do a very simple verbal test. My vitals are checked at least four times a day. Since I can’t really do any work to tire myself out, and I am away from my home where I would be running up and down the stairs all day long, I walk around the halls every day. The nurses told me I could go down to the street level and walk around the campus on the sidewalk. For a while, I thought I would, but then I decided nope, I don’t want to get sneezed on, with my low immunity. Today I did 3 1/2 miles on the stationary bicycle trying to keep my heart rate at least above 110. And, I sit in the reclining chair in the room rather than sitting in the bed because I found my back will hurt if I don’t. Not enough lumbar support in that bed.
I take a shower every day and dress in street clothes like a ritual. I think it’s good to have some discipline in a place like this, even if I’m not out there on the street. They have a little garden here on one of the floors, though it’s really just an outside patio with a couple of potted plants. I went out there one time and got rained on, but at least I know it’s there.
It’s been a fun time for my wife and me, because right when I went in, we discovered “Survivor.” I know it sounds ridiculous. Survivor has been on for 40 seasons and we’ve never seen it. My wife stays here in the hospital overnight, but goes home about 10 AM after we have some coffee and breakfast. That way she gets a little peaceful solitude, can catch up on yardwork, washes my clothes and so forth. I really think she needs that mental break every day. She’ll be back about five so we can eat dinner and watch some Survivor together. She has made this whole thing so much easier. I thought I had a backbone, and it has been put to the test many times, but lately I’ve realized my backbone is actually my wife. My wife is the reason I can keep going.
All the nurses have been great. I’ve probably talked too much when they’ve been in the room, though I’m trying to talk less now. It’s just hard for me to be quiet when there’s another person standing 3 feet away, and I am kind of nervous to begin with. During the day, the solitude gets to me a little bit. It’s tempting to get a conversation going, especially when I recognize a nurse from one of my previous stays. My son told me in his medical school they are currently discussing patient interactions and how to prevent a talkative patient from taking up excessive time. I, sadly, am part of the problem. My goal now is to be pleasant, but let them do their work. Their job is hard enough and they have a lot of patients to take care of.
Since I’ve been in this hospital so many times, I know which menu items are good and which are bland, overcooked and/or tasteless. About a third of what I’m eating here is food my wife has brought in. The Thursday Special pulled pork barbecue sandwich was a hospital item, though, and it was super delicious.
If you made it all the way through this thing I would like to wrap up with a hopeful note. My MM was diagnosed over six years ago as high risk and aggressive. Since then, I‘ve acquired refractory/relapsed status. I’ve had multiple lines of therapy, obviously, which is how I qualified for CAR-T. I’m one of the fraction of people for whom the ASCT procedure did nothing. At first glance, my case might not look to be an optimistic one.
And yet here I am, feeling extraordinary, full of energy, sitting in my chair and counting the days until they let me out. My point is that when you zoom in on my case, you might think it’s not that good, but the big picture is, even after all the ups and downs, six years in, I’m still here.

I went out there one time and got rained on, but at least I know it’s there.
It’s been a fun time for my wife and me, because right when I went in, we discovered “Survivor.” I know it sounds ridiculous. Survivor has been on for 40 seasons and we’ve never seen it. My wife stays here in the hospital overnight, but goes home about 10 AM after we have some coffee and breakfast. That way she gets a little peaceful solitude, can catch up on yardwork, washes my clothes and so forth. I really think she needs that mental break every day. She’ll be back about five so we can eat dinner and watch some Survivor together. She has made this whole thing so much easier. I thought I had a backbone, and it has been put to the test many times, but lately I’ve realized my backbone is actually my wife. My wife is the reason I can keep going.
All the nurses have been great. I’ve probably talked too much when they’ve been in the room, though I’m trying to talk less now. It’s just hard for me to be quiet when there’s another person standing 3 feet away, and I am kind of nervous to begin with. During the day, the solitude gets to me a little bit. It’s tempting to get a conversation going, especially when I recognize a nurse from one of my previous stays. My son told me in his medical school they are currently discussing patient interactions and how to prevent a talkative patient from taking up excessive time. I, sadly, am part of the problem. My goal now is to be pleasant, but let them do their work. Their job is hard enough and they have a lot of patients to take care of.
Since I’ve been in this hospital so many times, I know which menu items are good and which are bland, overcooked and/or tasteless. About a third of what I’m eating here is food my wife has brought in. The Thursday Special pulled pork barbecue sandwich was a hospital item, though, and it was super delicious.
If you made it all the way through this thing I would like to wrap up with a hopeful note. My MM was diagnosed over six years ago as high risk and aggressive. Since then, I‘ve acquired refractory/relapsed status. I’ve had multiple lines of therapy, obviously, which is how I qualified for CAR-T. I’m one of the fraction of people for whom the ASCT procedure did nothing. At first glance, my case might not look to be an optimistic one.
And yet here I am, feeling extraordinary, full of energy, sitting in my chair and counting the days until they let me out. My point is that when you zoom in on my case, you might think it’s not that good, but the big picture is, even after all the ups and downs, six years in, I’m still here.

So this story is kind of long but I’ll try to keep it short. I (17f) am graduating soon and couldn’t be more excited for it. As most graduation ceremonies go you are allowed to invite those who would like to watch you walk for the ceremony and my grandmother was on the list until some of her actions made me rethink it. For context she used to live in a low income apartments until her landlord told her she needed to move out since she was making more money and had no more need to live in those apartments. Since she was making more money you’d think she would go and get a nicer place but no she decides to stay in a motel which is more expensive than actually getting another apartment. She stays in the motel and accuses me and my family of being cruel for not helping her find a place when we live 5 hours away from her and there is no room at our place for her stay. And it’s not like I can buy her a whole house when I’m only 17. My mother had tried to talk to her about it but my grandmother refuses to reason with her. She would text me directly accusing me of being a terrible granddaughter and being selfish. She would do this even when I was at work so I had to block her number as it was affecting my life. She even accused me to my mother that I had smoked pot and that she had proof. (I have never in my life touched pot and I have no idea why she would even accuse me of something like this.) After a while my grandmother texted me through my cousins phone saying “We will be at your graduation but if your mom wants to start drama then so be it.” I didn’t reply but my mother and I both agreed that if she is going to be angry and cause fights at my graduation that I don’t want her to come and spoil an important day for me. Since then she has constantly been telling me what an AH I have been.

The other day i asked my LDR GF of 7 months how many friends she has on facebook. We are friended and we both listed one another in our relationship status. But her friends are hidden. When I asked out of curiosity how many friends she had she seemed annoyed and asked me why I needed to know. It seemed like a defensive response to a question i thought was not a big deal what so ever. Am I wrong for asking or are there valid or suspicious reasons why she would have a problem with that? In end she told me, 1200, but i cant stop thinking why was it such a big deal? She apologized for reacting that way but still would not give me a reason why.

Something I've noticed in my pwBPD's push-pull cycles, and I'm curious if it's "just her" or more of a BPD pattern:
Recently, my pwBPD has been talking a lot (and excitedly) about how happy she is to have a group of new friends. Mostly neighbors who recently moved in, women near her age(ish). She's gone from spending most of her day at home, on the couch, scrolling Facebook or watching TV and ordering her spouse around... to the new friends getting her out of the house for brunch and whatever else. A bit less whining and negativity, a bit more super-smiley-glowing vibe. She's flying. Clearly getting the attention and social status (the supply) she craves.
Feels like IATA for saying this (oh well), but it's hard/impossible to believe this is gonna end any differently than 99% of her other friendships. Throughout my life, there have been individuals and groups like this. They come into her life. She's elated, she's on cloud nine...for a while. Then something happens. Maybe she feels they take too long responding to a message. Maybe they have a personal conflict, and cancel a get-together. Maybe they don't put up with her BS, or hold her accountable for anything ever. Maybe they dare to have an opinion that doesn't match hers. One way or another, there's drama, there's a blow-up, suddenly she despises them and they will become BPD Enemy #1 - target of all her negative rants 'til another target comes along.
Years pass. New friend groups come, and quite suddenly, go. Lather, rinse, repeat.
She chooses not to learn or grow or change. She firmly believes her ex-friends are the problem; and surely this will be the time that she finds some good ones, unlike all those other bad nasty ex-friends. Surely this time will be different.
And I just think there's almost no chance that's true? This is gonna end like it always ends. So I really don't know how to react when she starts going on about her joy and how great it's going (for now).
Anyone else's pwBPD have this pattern? Do you feel the same "this isn't gonna last" gut feeling when you see the cycle starting over?
