Hey there, I've been roughly working in IT for around 2 in half to 3 years, I just got my A+ this year and I scheduled my Security + out. I recently accepted a job in IT Healthcare and this is my first experience to working in a primary Healthcare industry, my background before was 2 corporate internal IT positions, and an MSP company for a little while. I was in between job offers and I took the Healthcare position because it seemed promising and offered a higher pay range of $50,000 yearly.
Red flags for me started day 1 when I was sent to a different site to complete 20 trainings in 1 day and then sign an additional 20 documents, I didn't get to meet my team or people I'd be working with at all.
Once I actually got to my team more and more flags started happening and their has been this heightened animosity and tension between 2 IT teams in the company. They have 3 active directory domains, OU's are all over the place, Users are misconfigured and spelled wrong, we don't have licenses available. IT is keeping a sheet of all the Doctors passwords in an excel file, and signing in as Doctors to setup their profiles, including Synapse, PACS, etc where patient information and images are being stored. This seems like a major HIPPA violation and lack of security and access controls. We have no SLA timers, change logs, policies or even real procedures put into place.
Every user including patients has access to our entire IT area because we also have no physical access controls like badge readers or doors blocking any access. Our door code has been the same 4 digit number for years and they don't change any codes once a user is terminated. This is the first IT job I've worked at where it's taken me 4 weeks just to be able to get a O365 license. Then we have a coworker who remotes into personal devices on our network to play games and build models, bypassing the web content filtering and now joining their personal phone to the main network.
It feels like a complete joke and like I've regressed back in IT 7 steps, I received another job offer from a company also in Healthcare but the starting pay is hourly at around 19.50, I have a few more potential offers coming but I honestly don't know what I should do in this situation.
I've attempted to speak with my manger about these concerns moving forward but I'm not really getting answers or how things will be moving forward progressively to prevent some of these problems.

Applied to an IDR plan 2 weeks ago and last week got an email that my plan was denied and to login to my account to read the letter why. The joke was on me because I couldn't login to my account since it was transitioning and neither could any of the customer service agents on the phone.
My account finally transitioned to the new platform yesterday and low and behold there was no letter of any sort in my new account!
I called Mohela back yesterday and the lady on the phone was finally able to read the letter by accessing my account on the old platform and it was so vague. I had no idea what it meant, and she had no idea either. She put me on hold for 10 minutes and finally figured out that my IDR plan got sent to be processed when my account was transitioning so it got messed up and never got processed.
She was able to resubmit it to be processed and put me on a processing forbearance for the next 2 months until it’s processed. I’m glad I got it figured out, but it would have never been resubmitted had I not called! Wanted to share because I'm sure the transition is messing up other processing and nothing will be automatically fixed unless you call 🥲

As the title suggests, I have automatic backups turned on, but theres no indication of any files backing up automatically, and I’ve chosen a folder in google drive for the backup location.
Whenever I open the folder on google drive, its empty. I’ve been having this issue since GoodNotes 5, but I’ve been backing up to an external SSD. This is quite inconvenient as I cannot remotely access files from my PC.
I've tried manually backing up to google drive too, but since my backup is relatively large (around 6GB), it takes ages to export and backup. I've never had a successful manual backup to google drive either, I even turned off auto lock in settings on my iPad so the backup process doesn’t get interrupted.
Might as well add that I've tried changing the export types too, eg: goodnotes only, goodnotes and pdf, and just pdf. Still no luck.
Don't know if this helps but i currently use an M1 iPad Pro on the latest iPadOS, and the current version of GoodNotes 6.
Weird how I pay for a subscription for GoodNotes 6, but I still can’t sync to windows…
Does anyone else have this issue?
If anyone finds a fix please let me know.

My app backend has a login api which takes mobile number and password and then returns the user object along with an access_token and refresh_token. Access token is required in headers of further subsequent API requests.
I was using next-auth for this but for some reason I am not able to access token in the client side sometimes.
I am thinking of creating my own auth for this, like manually set the access_toke in cookies and use a middleware to add the Authorization: \Bearer ${token}`` for the requests.
So in the middleware I will first check if the token exists, if it does check if it expired by decoding it. if it is alright then set the header for the request. If the token is expired I want to regenerate a new token using the refresh_token and want to update the new tokens in the cookies.
Is there any blog solving my problem, and how safe it is ? I really don't want to use next-auth, it has made my site slow. I have to do getServerSession for getting data and alone this costs me around 20ms.

Working on getting intune setup (iOS/Android for the purposes of this post) and I got it working at this point but now I am trying to simplify the users first logins after enrollment. All of my 'required' apps deploy to the phone as expected but its the steps after that...
Outlook for example. I launch the app the user has to hit add account then the account info is already there then it opens authenticator as I have that setup to act as SSO (assuming the user has already launched and configured authenticator first).
After that though I get the message about your organization protecting the data in this app (because I have an app protection policy) and it makes me restart the app. After the restart I get another message about it being a government account (because it resides in GCC) and then I have to restart again.
And thats just for outlook. Is there anyway to get it so it is closer to as soon as the device is enrolled the user can just launch the apps and be on their merry way?

I'm having trouble getting a specific custom command to work on Windows using Run. Here's what I know so far and what the problem is:
Adding anything as a variable is no problem: you simply add a custom variables to the User Variables, give it a path and name, and you can access the path by typing "%name_of_your_variable%" (without quotation marks).
I found an even more effective way later on, simply adding a path to a folder that would contain shortcuts to desired destinations to the "Path" variable in Environment Variables. So, for example, I would create a folder named "C:\Shortcuts", add it to the "Path" variable and put a shortcut in the folder. For example, "Test". And once you type "Test" into the Run box, it actually opens that folder.
Now here's the issue: I wanted to use this method to make shortcuts to both a "Homebrew" and "Homework" folder on my PC, but for whatever reason, the Run box in Windows associates "home" as a prefix for "http://", a.k.a a URL. Simply entering "home" in Run and hitting ENTER throws an error, but adding any more content after "home" and hitting ENTER makes it open my web browser, attempting to open a URL that doesn't exist.
My question was: How do I stop Run (or basically Windows) from associating this "home" prefix with a web link?

EVENT FAQs

• The Event Shop and Capsules appear after you’ve healed 30-70 tiles; after that a free Bronze Capsule can be collected every 3 hours.
• It takes 5 or 6 level 9 Life Orb of the Heavens to clear all the 5k+ land, depending on how much you heal by merging items off dead land.
• To collect both the full set of Points Prizes and any level of Rush Rewards, you will need to earn 29,950 points.
  • Reaching this amount requires 1x Level 9 points item, 1x L8 item, 2x L7 items, and 2x L6 items (or just aim for 2x L9 points items).
• There’s always enough material to merge by 3s when making Key items.
• Caves must be tapped to spawn a Zomblin; only one event Zomblin lives in each cave, and it turns into Stinky Cheese when killed.
• The Gold Capsule, Fallen Star, and Tanzanite Nest are hiding near the far edge of the map, on tiles requiring 50k energy to heal.
• Infinite Harvestables:
  • There are usually 9x Level 1, 3x L2, 1x L3, 2x L4, and 2x L5 Infinite Harvestables (Spiritual Trees) on the map; you can delete one level 1 and one level 2 and still have enough to make a level 6, as long as you 5-merge whenever possible.
  • Note: No Infinite Harvestables are used as keys in this event.
• Consumable/Limited Harvestables:
  • Each 1x2 Noble Dragon Statue can be harvested 25 times; 75 total harvests are needed to complete Quest 1.3.
  • Each harvest of the big 2x2 Grinning Buddha at the back of the map yields a 10% chance of spawning an extra Noble Dragon Statue.
  • Once all available Noble Dragon Statues and the Grinning Buddha are gone, there is no way to get more.
• Strategy advice:
  • Spending money or gems is NEVER required to complete an event, nor is using an auto-clicker or other exploits.
  • The number and level of possible reward items is determined by your Event Portal level; working to raise that to its maximum of L16 is one of the best ways to boost your overall progress in the game

  • For active players wanting more dragons, the Prism Flower method is a good option: Link 1, Link 2, Link 3. Note: this technique is only for active play; since only 2 dragons at a time will harvest when left on their own, having more will actually slow down idle harvesting.
  • A recently shared strategy using the Hills chain here can greatly increase Life Flower production, but it usually takes a few gems (maximum of 80, but less if you get some in capsules)

REMINDER: Before closing your game, or when moving from the event level to your camp, always exit to the World Map screen and pause there until everything’s fully loaded to trigger the game to save your progress.
 

EVENT TROUBLESHOOTING

If the event is not showing up correctly or if glitches are affecting your play:

1. Check that you meet the version and dragon power requirements.
2. Try hard-closing and then relaunching your game.
3. Try rebooting your device (ie, turn it completely off, then back on and allow it to fully boot up before relaunching the game). If you are on wifi and have access to the router, try rebooting that, too.
4. Try switching to a completely different internet source.
5. Try clearing your game’s cache (google for instructions for your specific phone type).
6. If you’re suddenly experiencing multiple issues like lagging or error messages (or if the event vanishes completely), close the game and try again after 2-3 hours. Events are internet-based, and sometimes issues with the servers can cause temporary problems — all we can do for that is to wait it out.
7. If none of the above helps, contact Gram Games Support through the in-game link or the Support Web Portal for help figuring out what’s wrong.

• NOTE: Cloud Save is still unreliable: according to the developer, it is not safe to be used and should be left turned off.
• NOTE: Saving your Progress: Make sure to save your progress by traveling to the World Map screen (and waiting there until everything’s fully loaded) regularly, and especially before closing your game.
• Glitch: Missing sell/delete option If your task bar is missing the option to delete dimension jars or other items, you can start with the standard troubleshooting methods; if those don’t trigger a fix, replaying a few levels or working in your camp for a while have reportedly helped.
• Glitch: Event level only shows clouds If your event screen shows only clouds instead of the map, check that you are zoomed all the way out. If you are and it still won’t show, try collecting one of the free Bronze Capsules (you may need to wait for the timer to count down).

I'm on the board of a small local hobby club (roughly 200 people on the mailing list) that holds monthly in-person meetings. Our current website is hosted by Wild Apricot, who just upped the yearly fees from $600 to $800 for the website, hosting, and mailing list service for a maximum of 200 recipients.
I had previously advocated to change away from Wild Apricot at the $600 price point, but got pushback from the rest of the board ("changing websites is hard!"). However after the price increase they're open to a change.
If I understand correctly, there are no html/css files for the site that I can download to rehost somewhere else inexpensively, as Wild Apricot is apparently a template-based web design service. I've done simple html/css for a website before (recently), but have no time to cook up another site like this, and need a drag and drop based website service. The club site has just 6 pages, and other than pictures and text, only has a calendar of events, and a member login that allows members to see a simple interface showing whether they're paid yearly dues or not - pretty simple stuff overall.
We're looking at Constant Contact for our mailing list needs. I've heard of Word Press, Squarespace, and Wix for simple website creation and hosting. Are these the simplest / best cost services that would meet the fairly simple needs of our website? We don't take dues payments on the site, or even have a contact form (we direct members to our facebook page for web-based inquiries), so our needs are pretty modest.

I have recently completed a 6-month full stack software engineering bootcamp.I have been looking for a job and have run into a bunch of scams. I recently got an email asking me to fill out a questionnaire. I did so and received this email.
The fact that I had no real interview and that the job is offering $80 an hour and that they said they will send me a check for equipment are HUGE red flags to me. But I am desperate and would love for this to be real. Would it hurt if I provided the information they requested? Can I put a check in my bank and not cash it and see if it bounces? Will I be penalized?

I have the fixed 10GB plan ($40/month). Will travel to Canada June 28th to July 2nd. I am wondering if my phone is usable in Canada. I don't need much, except for communicating with friend who will be picking me up at the airport. I am not sure I will have access to airport WiFi once I am off the plane.
I looked into adding international, but web site only has a few countries listed, and Canada is not on the list.

I'm searching for a photo library app that handles use cases where your smartphone has not enough capacity for all your photos/videos but you still want to have all of them accessible.
Essentially:

• Performant enough to replace the phone's gallery app in day-to-day use
• Syncing ability (either self-hosted or Cloud-based), including some kind of selective sync, e.g. to keep enough images local to fill a certain amount of space, but automatically remove old ones locally if you take new ones
• Sync albums
• Offline support (at least for those that are synced locally)
• Support of Android, Windows, and Mac OS X (or Web-based for non-mobile)

Does anyone know of an app that supports all of that? I tested out 15+ apps, but none came close except Mylio Photos. Unfortunately, Mylio turned out to be incredibly unreliable, thus not an option for one's most cherished memories.

Recently, I was considering developing a Node.js program using Puppeteer to host a website that performs web scraping to gather publicly available data (to then download it). While this data is accessible to the public, downloading it typically requires a subscription.
My question is: would it be legal to publish this type code on GitHub? Additionally, would it be permissible to publish it if I explicitly stated that it is for educational purposes?
