2024.05.14 19:54 chickoooooo Feeling like biggest degenerate rn

(I know it's not right sub but feminineboys removed it for not having basic human decency so I'm posting it in my usual friendly sub)
So it's a very weird story and quite NSFW too.
So basically I'm 21 years old bi femboy who likes femboys and trans people. I'm not out yet to parents so I CD without them knowing. So I was alone for 2 days this weekend at home. I decided it's good time to try make up and dresses yk . So I tried them and took some pictures of myself(not for posting anywhere just to see how I look) then I took some NSFW pics in the mirror cause I was feeling pretty. I don't usually take pictures of myself (not photogenic and shy too). So I was done with it and then started playing battlefield 5.
After done with game I got in bed to sleep and thought I should check my phone. So I watched reddit (femboy memes lol) and I thought I should check my pics from earlier. So I opened gallery and was looking at my pics and God knows why I got horny watching my pics😭 so in the heat of the moment I started touching myself😐 and I eventually I came to my femboy pics 🥲.
Then the post nut clarity hit me like a lighting to a tree. It was the worst feeling in the world. I realised what I just did and ran to bathroom to take a bath. Even after cleaning myself I was feeling like a shit.
It's been 2 days now and I still can't keep it out of my head. I like being femboy and it's who I am. I don't understand exactly why I'm feeling bad though ?? Cause I obviously enjoyed it and it was like best orgasm I had in some time but I'm feeling guilty or something?? It's very complicated feeling 🫠I love myself and all. My mom says you spend too much time in mirror looking at yourself nowadays 😐 and some people have mistaken me for girl in public and college (I'm not trans) so am I like attracted to myself or something?? And is that bad?? Like I know it couldn't be that bad, people have done weird (uncommon) shit than this and there's no way I'm the first person to have done this (atleast I hope so 🙏) so why I'm feeling like a shit ??? Any advice is appreciated.
Tldr- I baited to fem pics of myself and feeling like shit about it now 😐

2024.05.13 17:58 Sunbear99 Booby trapping package thieves with shit, will I be in trouble ?

Recently there's been cases where people jumped into my house and stole my packages. I wonder if I put shit wrapped with something (to hide the smell) in a package , and place it inside my house baiting the thieves.
If a robber jumped in and stole the shit package, and he opened at home/office and realized is full of shit. If he report to PDRM of my action, there is no way PDRM will care about him right ? And might arrest him instead of "stealing" my shit.
Or there is some Malaysian law I am not aware of which will cause me to be fined/jailed.

so is racism now okay here ?
I have been seeing this user’s posts on this sub for the last few days and have just thought it is a user trolling or losing their mind either way. What caught my eye is the racism in one of their comments.
Here is the link:

I have also attached a screenshot of the user’s profile and the original comment. I am not white and I love the Crue , but if this is how this sub works then I will leave instead of making people feel uncomfortable that a brown person found their precious rock n roll sub forum

2024.05.13 03:12 forfundaddy69 My fcked up life about my cheating fiancee

So i am reaching out in hopes to meet friends and make some new connections in the . Im a 30 year old single father and i was in a relationship for 6 years now that has just ended. We where engaged after 1 year. She never worked and has lived in government houseing and been under income assistance her whole life. She had a very hard up bringing and has really done well for herself for what she was given for a life as a child. I seen alot of love and passion for her kids when i first met her. She was rough around the edges but gave me alot of hope and and trust because of her motherly ability, and her abiltity to make in through rough times and to persevere and make the best out of her life. She lived quite rurally when i met her. And i lived in the city. I was getting tired of the city and began to fall in love with her over a years time . And began to grow a soft spot in my heart for the 3 young girls she had. This gave me the confidence to change my path in life and make the move 950 km away from everything i ever knew. The kids father was never involved and had been in and out of jail there whole young lives. As well as having a restraining order against him towards my ex. When i came up they where 1 and almost 3 . I have raised them as my own since the time i met them. I took over as the father figure they needed. I got them moved out of government housing and into a apartment - then a house. Work ran dry as we where living rurally and as i had took over as the family provider i needed to make a decision . Stay rurally where life is simplier. But chance looseing everything , or move back to city where i have supports and work is plenty. We made that move and have never looked back ! But once we moved down to the city our family began falling apart. I began working alot more hours and my fiancee was not use to me not beeing around as the last 4 or 5 months i was basically just working enough to pay the bills. It made us loose one another. She got pregant after 1 year of beding back down in the city. It seemed to really put a new lease on our reltionship ! But after 7 months our son was born premature and died at birth. This crushed us both and for another year we just stsrted declining as a family as a cohesive unit like a partnership should be.
It was around christmas after all of this that i found out my fiancee was cheating on me. She had been selling her used panties online , offering men sex for money , and exchanging sexual texts and photos with men who lived back in the rural town we use to live in. I was heart broken and said it was over then. 💔 but she proceeds to tell me she is pregnant again. And that we should really try to make it work for the babys sake.
It took me alot of time and i said okay . I forgive you but i can not keep doing this. If it happens again we are over.
Everything seemed fine until just after our son was born. I began noticing she never wanted to cuddle anymore , she was always. Complaining about my character and gas liting me for things. Telling me how shitty a dad i am . Well turning around the next day and telling how great i am and trying to make love to me .
I began to think she was chesting again once we got in a fight because i seen all these random men in her friends list on facebook that i had never met or seen in my life. And she has always made it clear im not allowed to have any woman outside of family on my facebook or even in my contacts on my phone. Ive gotten in shit for talking with the hr lady at work -.-. So when i seen this i brought it up and was like this is a,bit of a double standard dont you think ? And i got told im looking to stsrt fights and that all i do is accuse her.
Well because of this she deleted me off facebook and deleted my whole family. For 4 month's i have been sending her friend requests and telling her how much it bugs me and hurts me. I call her my fiancee but she cant add me on facebook. All i could see was ger profile picture changes. So one day im looking at her likes on her profile picture's and low and behold are 4 different men all single men . Who lived in the area we did before, who use to flirt with her all the time before we officially got together. So again i bring up this and go this is really bugging me and i know stuff is going on. She use to send me nudes and spicy photos as a couple . But that has completely stopped 6 months ago. I bought her a new phone and we both have acces to each others phones . Well she got mad accused me of snapchatting with woman in the past , so i deleted the app completely as we use to use it for our spicy photos. Well the new phone i just bought her she downloaded snapchat on. And in her photo gallerys has prob 200 nude photos of herself . Well not 1 has been sent to me . But so help i add a lady who was a friend from highschool on my facebook. 🤨 .
So this all came to ahead and i confronted her . I wrote how it hurt me and if she was done lets do this like adults and not lie and hurt 1 another. I never got a responses other then i cant complete your accuseing me of this shit how dare you , your fucking rude , fuck you type thing.
So fast forward a month or so later and im in the car with my mother . Now my parents rent us there basement suite. As im in the car with my mother the kids grandmother . She tells me the other night my middle daughter told them they paid for a new place and its only for them (3 kids) and mom . Not dad. So my mother and father where quite thrown off to here this from my daughter who is 8.
So my mom told me this happened. So i txt my ex fiancee and she takes 45 minutes to reply back to me.
She had it prepared as she sent about a 3 page message to me telling me how she is not happy , and needs her own space , and stills wants to work on us but needs her own space. I go after everything we have been through and you do this sneakly behind my back. Like we where struggling money wise a little bit. And i had 1500 in savings . I got paid on 3 days. And she beggggedd me to pull money out of savings to buy some groceries. I said thats fine if we need food we need food.
Well i find out she had applied for income assistance and had been saving money for this place the whole time. As well i bought her abd the girls 4 tickets to TS . She proceed to tell me her ticketmaster account got hacked and someone took her tickets which are now worth 3000 plus each. After all of this went down im begining to think she sold the tickets as pocketed the money .
Im so broken and as i pick up the peices and try to make in through the rest of the month with pain of her living here still , hurting me everyday. It hurts to not see it coming , nd it hurts to see the family you worked so hard to create and better and grow . Fracture and disapate.
I do have my reasons but i beleive sge is either running a only fans account or may be escorting /selling sex for money.
I want to have my family work out and i have tried time and time again to fix things. But at a certain point you need to let things go and if its ment to be it will be.
Im writing this in hopes to meet maybe some younger singles who may have gone through anything similar and who are looking to decompress and have someone to talk with and be friends with ! Obviously as lifes been rough im not looking for anything serious at this point but maybe someone else gad been through something similar and us down to have a coffee talk about things , and maybe spark a friendship that can go further maybe !
Im a carpenter by trade and consider myself blue collar hardworking ! I love outdoors and want my kids to grow up enjoying nature as much as possible as well ! Hopefully you share the same type of values and likes and we can plan some lake and beach trips !
As we are not even separated households yet and this is very fresh . I want to stay anonymous but if you right a,reply here i will msg you personally! Looking forward to chatting and meeting some people in the area !

The Impeachment of Philip La Follette Peacock-Shah Alternate Elections

COMMITTEE FOR PRESERVATION OF THE REPUBLIC DEMANDS IMPEACHMENT OVER ARRESTS, Howard K. Smith, The New Orleans Times-Picayune, November 17th, 1950
PHILADELPHIA–Former Senator Thomas D. Schall and U.S. Representative Henry S. Breckinridge, Chairmen of the Committee for the Preservation of the Republic, an organization striving to unite opposition to the administration for the 1952 election, issued a formal statement yesterday afternoon endorsing the proposed impeachment of President La Follette on the grounds of the “violation of citizens constitutional rights,” echoing Ben Gitlow’s prior accusation that the President has sought to build “a dictatorship of executive orders.” Centering their call on the arrests of prominent leaders of the opposition, the Committee cited:
  • The April, 1949 arrest by federal agents of Congress of Industrial Organizations President John L. Lewis, who challenged the President in a narrow 1948 primary contest, and the subsequent arrest of Tony Boyle, Lewis’s erstwhile successor and formerly Fulgencio Batista’s nominee for the vice presidency of the nation. Apprehended on related charges of racketeering, both have been sentenced to 20 years in prison. Mr. Walter Reuther, having succeeded Lewis in leadership of the CIO, has sought to fundraise $500,000 to cover the organization’s legal fees.
  • The arrest of Benjamin Gitlow, late Progressive nominee for the presidency, in September of that year prior to a speaking tour intended to vituperate President La Follette. Sentenced on charges of forgery for his time under an assumed name while presumed dead after the New American Revolution, Gitlow has a remaining eight years in prison with the possibility of parole.
  • The arrests of Cuba Governor Fulgencio Batista, who found himself a distant second to La Follette in the presidential election, Santo Domingo Governor Rafael Trujillo, and his brother Hector on charges of racketeering and bribery. All have been sentenced to over 20 years in prison, with the arrest of Trujillo in particular notable for having sparked the alienation of William R. Hearst from the President.
  • The arrest of Virginia Senator Harry F. Byrd, brother of presidential candidate Admiral Richard E. Byrd, in 1950 on charges of bribery and racketeering. Byrd has been sentenced to 20 years in prison.
  • The federal investigation into New York Governor Robert Moses over the appointment of Tom Shanahan, convicted of bribery, to the New York Board of Planning, fueling the resignation of Governor Moses despite no evidence of wrongdoing on his part.
  • The arrest, on charges of embezzlement, of Senator William Lemke after his promise to campaign for the presidency against La Follette and his subsequent death, after thirty-three years in the United States Senate, on the floor of a jail cell.
FRENCH AMBASSADOR ADMITS ORDER TO ASSASSINATE BUTLER FROM LINDBERGH, Walter Winchell, The New York Daily Mirror, July 16th, 1951
WASHINGTON, DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA–Gaston Henry-Haye, French Ambassador to the United States from 1935, testified yesterday to the United States Select Committee to Investigate International Crime chaired by Senator Estes Kefauver (FL-TN) after several prior refusals to appear. The Ambassador testified under oath that he was instructed in 1937 to organize the killing of General Smedley Butler by Secretary of the Treasury Hugh S. Johnson as a means of preventing General Butler from mounting a primary challenge to President Lindbergh in 1940. The Ambassador stated that he is unaware of whether President Lindbergh himself had sanctioned the assassination, but to the sensation of the impeachers, further testified that it was President La Follette who had urged him, and others from within the Administration, to defy the subpoena.
The Ambassador’s testimony has buttressed that of Envoy Porfirio Rubirosa, his primary contact in the United States government, detailing an elaborate plot organized through General Raoul Salan involving the blackmail of Butler associate Yvonne Sadoul, whose husband Jacques, imprisoned for communist associations since the beginning of the Petain Regime, was threatened with execution unless Mrs. Sadoul would provide French agents with travel details of General Butler’s tour of Madrid. The Ambassador recounted a phone call from General Salan explaining how Jean Filiol, a member of the Petainist secret police working undercover as an agent of L’Oreal cosmetics, utilized his disguise to lure Butler in for assassination on the pretext of improved makeup for his television appearances.
President La Follette has responded by the investigation as a “witch hunt,” denouncing “McCarthyism” and citing the attacks upon economic advisor Leon Keyserling as evidence of the untrustworthiness of Speaker McCarthy. Addressing the possibility of impeachment, President La Follette stated at a press conference last Thursday that “when they go low, we will continue to aim high” as he affirmed his decision to appoint former President Lindbergh to lead the newly founded National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
Senator Estes Kefauver interrogates Gaston Henry-Haye on the assassination of Smedley Butler.
United States House of Representatives Chamber, July 22nd, 1951
Stand up, impeachers!
The testimony of Ambassador Henry-Haye had left President La Follette in the crosshairs of Speaker McCarthy and, smelling blood in the water, McCarthy immediately struck for the kill. In typical fashion, the vitriolic Speaker would pillory moderates in a public statement claiming that "you cannot offer friendship to tyrants and murderers without advancing the cause of tyranny and murder” and label Father Charles Coughlin a “subversive” for a radio broadcast on the priest’s weekly program opposed to impeachment. Fearing the possibility of a parry from the executive branch, McCarthy would task Richard Nixon with leading the drafting of articles of impeachment immediately over the last weekend of June.
A conciliatory populist on his party’s left ever uncomfortable with Joseph McCarthy’s persona, Eduardo Chibas would ally with the Committee for the Preservation of the Republic to gather support for the impeachment, viewing La Follette as a tyrant. Speaking to the House in a broadcast covered live in Spanish in his native Caribbean, as Nixon and counsel Roy Cohn poured over treatises on constitutional law, Chibas would cite the arrest of Gitlow to declare that “the American people have been disgraced because power has won out over shame.” Three articles would be drafted within days for presentation to the House of Representatives, millions of Americans listening over the radio as the “voice of impeachment,” the voice of Nixon, presented them to Congress and the nation.
Article I: Using the powers of the office of President of the United States, Philip F. La Follette, in violation of his constitutional oath faithfully to execute the office of President of the United States and, to the best of his ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States, and in disregard of his constitutional duty to take care that the laws be faithfully executed, has repeatedly engaged in conduct violating the constitutional rights of citizens, impairing the due and proper administration of justice and the conduct of lawful inquiries, or contravening the laws governing agencies of the executive branch and the purposes of these agencies.
Article II: Without lawful cause or excuse, President La Follette directed Executive Branch agencies, offices, and officials not to comply with those subpoenas. President La Follette thus interposed the powers of the Presidency against the lawful subpoenas of the House of Representatives, and assumed to himself functions and judgments necessary to the exercise of the “sole Power of Impeachment” vested by the Constitution in the House of Representatives.
Article III: That said President La Follette, unmindful of the high duties of his office, and of his oath of office, in the year of our Lord, 1951, at Washington in the District of Columbia, unlawfully conspired with Charles A. Lindbergh, Secretary of the Air Force, to obstruct a lawful investigation by the United States Select Committee to Investigate International Crime.
Finally, echoing from the radios of the presidentially loyal Blackshirts mulling around the capitol building to millions of kitchen tables, Nixon’s voice thundered with the impeachment’s most famous line:
Stand up, impeachers!
A few enthusiastic young representatives like Mississippi’s Rubel Phillips, New Jersey’s Millicent Fenwick, and Massachusetts’s Henry Cabot Lodge would be the first to their feet, jumping to attention within seconds as their hands clutched railings or rose in salutes to the American flag. Within seconds, dozens more would begin to stand, socialist Norman Thomas alongside libertarian Suzanne La Follette as disabled Nebraskan Bob Dole used his good arm to carry paraplegic Michigander Harry Kelly and heed Nixon’s call. Surveying the chamber, one thing was clear: impeachment had a majority. The impeachers standing in victory, the tension of the vote would dissipate for the moment against the certainty of the result, with the most popular of the articles, the first, peaking at 291 votes for and a mere 178 against.
In an attempt to conciliate the disparate factions of the opposition, the tapestry of impeachment managers would run the gamut. Leading them, naturally, would be the “voice of impeachment,” Richard Nixon, with Progressive-Federalists also contributing aging former Judge John J. Parker of North Carolina, fiery Mississipian Rubel Phillips, irascible former prosecutor Harold Stassen of Minnesota, and Linwood Holton of Virginia, while veteran old lawyers Henry S. Breckinridge and Jouette Shouse would comprise the Liberty League contingent and McCarthyite conservative Thomas H. Werdel of California and socialist New Yorker Jacob Panken would represent the divisions within the Farmer-Labor opposition itself.
For the first time in American history, the President had been impeached.
In an advertisement purchased by the Committee for the Preservation of the Republic, Richard Nixon argues the case for impeachment in the court of public opinion.
MCCARTHY RESIGNS AS SPEAKER AFTER NEW WAVE OF OPPOSITION ARRESTS, Joseph Alsop, The Saturday Evening Post, August 14th, 1951
GRAND CHUTE, WISCONSIN–Speaker of the House Joseph McCarthy has formally resigned his office after being apprehended by state police this week at his Wisconsin home, where the nation’s most impressive demagogue was charged with sodomy in connection to his frequent attendance at the White Horse Inn, a known place of rendezvous for Milwaukee homosexuals. While initially vowing to hold onto his office and resist what he has dubbed “libel,” the loss of support from California’s young Richard Nixon signaled failure in an upcoming motion to vacate and is credited with triggering his resignation. McCarthy has accused the police investigation of having been under the influence of the La Follette family, all powerful in Wisconsin, while others cite as precedent the harassment of David I. Walsh for his homosexuality by President Luce that famously destroyed the Massachusetts’ Senator’s political career. However, like Walsh, many speculate that McCarthy may seek the presidency following his expected six month prison sentence.
In addition to McCarthy, the past two weeks has seen the arrest of several other notables who favored the President’s impeachment including, on charges of accepting kickbacks, J. Parnell Thomas (F-NJ), the irascible Chairman of the House Committee on Un-American Activities who famously called for an end to theater funding on the grounds that such constituted presidential propaganda; on charges of payroll fraud, Ernest K. Bramblett (P-CA); and Walter E. Brehm (P-OH) on charges of fraud. The arrests, however, seem to have galvanized the opposition, and this columnist’s opinion is that an outcome of removal is nearly certain.
Turncoat counsel Roy Cohn.
The Trial of the Century?
With Joseph McCarthy behind bars, President La Follette’s allies would fundraise for their leader’s defense, shocking the public by recruiting for the defense team the former counsel to the impeachers themselves: Roy Cohn. Brought in with a paycheck rumored to be over a million dollars, Cohn’s vicious persistence would be tampered by his insistence that La Follette supporters not engage in threats, arguing that doing so would alienate moderates. Cohn would be joined by another young lawyer, the son of a major Liberty League donor who had recently turned for La Follette and a friend of Vice President Musmanno’s: Robert F. Kennedy. In another attempt to appeal across the aisle, elite lawyer Clark Clifford would lead the defense, utilizing decades worth of Washington connections. Meanwhile, the President would use intermediaries such as General Trades Union President George Meany to appeal to liberal Senators such as Hubert Humphrey, arguing that, regarding the first article, the executive orders represented the nation’s best path to universal healthcare.
As Nixon and his cadre perorated eloquently on the values of democracy, Cohn, Clifford, and Kennedy would attempt to constrain the case to the bare intricacies of legal detail, avoiding grand speeches and matters of philosophy to argue narrowly for a decision to acquit. They would find sympathy in Chief Justice Hugo Black, as the former Commandant of the Blackshirts presided over the trial with a consistent willingness to defer to the requests of the defense on matters such as the rules of evidence. Their narrow arguments would target those fundamentally uncomfortable with the nation of a presidential removal as they sought to boil the decision to one of legal nuances rather than the nature of the republic.
With the President attempting to behave above the fray and portray himself as the statesman of the national revival to win the peace, his brother Bob Jr. would reluctantly join Clarence Dill in taking the lead in attempting to secure his acquittal. As journalist Herb Klein would report, the siblings’ relationship had been plagued by a growing chasm between the siblings, with Bob feeling his brother had gone too far. Yet, Bob, through private conversations as he insisted that the listener forget he was Majority Leader of the United States Senate, that a return to normalcy would be impossible if the drastic step of presidential removal was taken. Bob would seek to obtain promises from his brother that the presidency would step back if acquitted, removing Lindbergh from power and pausing the implementation of executive orders.
Central to the Wisconsin Senator’s mission of convincing would be Vice President Michael A. Musmanno. Slated for the presidency if La Follette were to be removed, Musmanno would portray himself as twice as radical. Speaking to a crowd of supporters in New York City, the Vice President would argue that Phil had “awoken in America a renaissance, a spirit to dare and accomplish that it has not known in decades,” Musmanno would claim that he heard the voice of god while praying at Mount St. Peter Church in his native Pennsylvania, instructing him to lead “the heroic work of the Blackshirts in their purification of American soil.” Musmanno would argue that “patriotic young men” required no warrants to raid the disloyal opposition, leading Bob Jr. to privately declare the Vice President “a dangerous man” who must not be let into the presidency, even momentarily, by a verdict of removal.
As Richard Nixon’s closing arguments to implored the men of the body once labeled “the most exclusive club in the world” to “follow the bloody tracks of treason,” Bob Jr. and Dill would arrange for printed copies of Musmanno’s remarks to be spread, continuing to build the argument that a continuing La Follette presidency was the safer option for democracy even as Jacob Panken dismissively reminded the legislators-turned-jurors that the Senate could remove a vice president as well. The President would appeal to Alabama’s Jim Folsom, reminding him of the federal government’s long disassociation with Alabama affairs and promising the reconciliation of Folsom on patronage affairs.
Meanwhile, letters from Progressive National Committee Chairman Osro Cobb would promise Henry Bone and Sid McMath bipartisan support in a re-election bid to counter the opposition of the President. Thus, as the day of the decision approached, the final decision would come down to wily Massachusetts’ independent J. Michael Curley, New Mexico Liberty Leaguer Henry F. Ashurst, Alabama reformer Jim Folsom, Georgia liberal Ellis Arnall, Arkansas’s Sid McMath, Nevada Landonite Walter Baring, and the Midwestern progressive Farmer-Laborite of Hubert Humphrey. Former Postmaster General Thomas Duncan would appeal on behalf of La Follette, reminding men such as Curley and Folsom of the looming ability of the administration to pursue the ever present corruption allegations surrounding both.
The radical antics of Vice President Michael A. Musmanno would turn several Senators against impeachment.
With 66 votes, the unthinkable would be put to action, and the President of the United States removed. 29 votes had been promised against removal, 63 for, as the nation’s eyes turned to the 7 in waiting. As each awaited the call of the Senate clerk to announce their votes, their thoughts on deciding the future undoubtedly raced to the past.
29 votes for acquittal. 63 votes for removal.
Walter Baring had been implored time and time again by Alf Landon to vote for impeachment, arguing that La Follette had the destruction of the Farmer-Labor right in mind. Baring had seen his ally Lister Hill driven from power as Speaker of the House for crossing the President, and he saw his chance to strike vengeance.
29 votes for acquittal. 63 votes for removal.
Henry F. Ashurst had been a friend of the La Follettes since the 1890s. He had visited Fighting Bob and spoken on his behalf as a Liberal when Aaron Burr Houston sought to destroy his support. He had watched Phil grow up, held the toddler in his arms that now sat in the White House. Michael Musmanno, to Senator Ashurst, was an ever unknown quantity. Bob had warned him of the danger of unknown quantities, and Phil, for all that Ashurst abhorred, was known. He would defeat the President at the ballot box, but he would not defy him now.
30 votes for acquittal. 63 votes for removal.
His commanding officer in the Third Pacific War, General David Shoup, visited Sid McMath the night before the vote. Shoup had pointed with abhorrence to the to the two million Japanese civilians left dead after the atomic bombings. Shoup’s words, utterances that had once been orders in their days in the Marines, echoed in McMath’s head; “All I can say is, any man that murders two million Japanese, when it might not even be their war, is not a good man. That is not the American way.”
30 votes for acquittal. 64 votes for removal.
Ellis Arnall had gotten a very different visit, a delegation of prominent state businessmen, the very men that had funded his campaign, promising desertion of not merely himself, but the state of Georgia, with a vote for acquittal. He thought of Vice President Musmanno’s words and reassured himself that democracy could be saved.
31 votes for acquittal. 64 votes for removal.
His name is Musmanno, but we call him Curly after you.” The family’s words as they held his young namesake stuck with J. Michael Curley. The working Irish and Italians of Boston and Worcester had two heroes: Michael A. Musmanno and him. He had defied the brahmins of Boston and Harvard, worn powdered wigs to their events to mock them gaily as he rose to absolute power in the city on the back of Revolutionary era redbaiting. Curley had been in the circles of power for a half century, but even in the twilight of his life, he hated men like Phil, born with a silver spoon. His place was among the ward bosses and the machines of politics, and he distrusted the tacit offerings of favors from Thomas Duncan, the implication that the prosecutors already hot on his tail for kickbacks, fraud, and graft might reconsider with a vote for acquittal. Already in 1946 when La Follette first was elected had he served his last prison term, a matter of months then, but he knew the road was coming to an end for him. Michael Curley had never denied being corrupt, but he would take the President down with him.
31 votes for acquittal. 65 votes for removal.
Jim Folsom had never lived in a democracy. Born under the reign of Milford W. Howard, he had seen his state grow beyond his wildest dreams, never realizing that he would one day govern it. He had, after all, been rejected by the voters as the reform governor, yet his machine persisted, even as the President sought to crush it. Big Jim had never seen himself in the Governor’s chair until it happened, but Senator Jim looked across the Capitol to that glimmering White House and knew that, within the Farmer-Labor Party, he would never have a way in if he turned against their standard bearer.
32 votes for acquittal. 65 votes for removal.
Hubert Humphrey was a pharmacist, not a lawyer. He had swept into office in 1942 on the back of the Luce Administration’s antagonism towards the very Thomas Schall who now led the Committee for the Preservation of the Republic, fully holding that “the moral test of government is how that government treats those who are in the dawn of life, the children; those who are in the twilight of life, the elderly; and those who are in shadows of life, the sick, the needy, and the handicapped.” Humphrey had followed John L. Lewis in 1948, he had stood against Phil and nearly lost his career for it in 1950. Yet, the piercing arguments of Kennedy and Cohn remained alongside the nature of the impeachment. The reforms he had spent his life fighting for were finding their baptism in fire through the President’s executive orders. Bob, who had guided him when he entered the Senate and, in that friendly manner that made Bob the consummate politician his brother never was, continually checked in on him, had begged him to vote for stability, had used the forbidden word “civil war,” had pointed to the Blackshirts mulling beyond the armed security, and told him that Musmanno would be the Augustus to his brother’s Caesar.
33 votes for acquittal, 65 votes for removal.
Shouts from the gallery, journalists rushing out to announce the story as telephone and telegraph lines competed to relay the news first.
The presidency of Philip F. La Follette would live to fight another day.
The last photo of Eduardo Chibas.
The Final Radio Broadcast of Eduardo Chibas, October 27, 1951
“My words last Sunday did not have the resonance the very serious situation demanded. America needs to wake up. But my wakeup call perhaps was not strong enough.
America has a great destiny reserved in history. The happy coincidence of natural factors so favorable for a great destiny, together with the high quality of our people, awaits only the honest and capable endeavor of a team of government ready to perform its historical task. Such a team is not the present administration, corrupted to the core and disguised with new ways to cover up its shamelessness. Neither the false opposition of Batista who encourages the return of the militias with the cunning assistance of international communism; nor the scornful group of followers of Admiral Byrd. The only group of government capable of saving America is the Committee for the Preservation of the Republic with their anti-pact platform of political independence that accepts no transactions or settlements.
Come on compañeros! For economic independence, political freedom and social justice! Let's get rid of the thieves in the government!
People of America, stand up and march! People of America, wake up!
This is the final wakeup call!”
Other voices cut into the broadcast as chaos traveled over the airwaves.
"Tiene una pistola!”
“Párenlo! Estas loco?”
Millions of Americans widened their eyes as a crash ensued over the radio.
Eduardo Chibas had breathed his last.
Has American democracy?

2024.05.12 13:12 interventionalhealer Trump and 9/11? A counter theory to the rise of MAGA.

For the sake of transparency, I am not the architect of the following discoveries, and am just helping to forward their message and clean it up. Copywrite of the following work belongs to no one and everyone is not only welcome to share these findings as if they were their own, but openly encouraged to do so.
Introduction
If you think you know anything about MAGA. Trust me, you know nothing. Not even his most devout followers or haters will have considered the following. And for the sake of our democracy and way of life, I hope people read this.
This work may very well help to shift the narrative on Trump in a meaningful and foundational way, but I don't want this work exacerbate any feelings of ill will to MAGA members, for they have been prey to possibly one of the largest con jobs our world has ever seen, especially without the help of this counternarrative.
Snippet From My Thesis On MAGA
As I work on tidying up the master file with the helpful dms I got, allow me to post just the most contentious part of it below, now that it’s able to stand on its own.
MAGA didn’t begin in 2015. I argue it began in 2001 on 9/11, while also harnessing and funneling decades of anti-government resentment till many Americans would openly call for a “wrecking ball” figure to help “drain the swamp.”

A Key Fueling Factor To American Outrage- Inflation
Many elements contributed to growing American anger that would later contribute to MAGA, this is a snippet from the larger work.
Rising Cost of Living
o In 1950, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) was 24.1. By 2000, it had risen to 168 (a 597% increase), and by 2023, it had reached 304.7, a 1163% increase from 1950.
o Housing prices saw a drastic rise overtime, with the median home price increasing from $7,354 in 1950 to $388,700 in 2023, a staggering 5185% increase.
o While rising rent costs can contribute to overall inflation and cost of living, even the left has largely failed to address how exponentially increasing real estate prices impact the cost of living. This omission has made many other conspiracy theories seem more plausible in its wake.
o If we don’t find real solutions for real estate that also aren’t extreme, then society will feel more and more pressure to accept “unreasonable solutions” like Trump, even though he’s the last person on earth who could solve it, considering his business acumen and history.
MAGA Dynamics and Blind Devotion
In 2016, it wasn't just the left calling the MAGA movement a cult. Trump famously said, "I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn't lose any voters." Even the left failed to grasp the gravity of this statement. As someone who nearly died in a deadly cult and based on my research, I don't know of a single cult where the founder could openly commit murder without losing members. Trump didn't just believe he'd created one of the largest cults ever; he believed he'd created the most fanatical. Let's hope his followers prove him wrong by showing a willingness to criticize him, regardless of their vote.

The MAGA Question
Instead of challenging MAGA supporters on fallacious beliefs, ask them this question to see if they’re at least able to see a world where Trump isn’t a biblical King: "If Trump admitted he was behind 9/11 and used resulting insurance money and donations from hostile governments to create false “grass root” campaigns. And did it all in a way to make it seem like others committed his own atrocities. And that he intended to destroy America in every way if he got elected, would you still vote for him?"

Yet even then, getting through to a MAGA supporter inevitably refers to 9/11 “research” out there when they realize individual positions are usually fallacious. This quagmire me decide to investigate this tragedy, to see if there was a more plausible counter theory. Honestly, the more I looked the more surprised I became. Here are my findings that are but a snippet of my full thesis on MAGA.

9/11 Conspiracy Theories and MAGA
Conspiracy Theories and Credibility:
o First off, conspiracy theories should involve some effort to verify narratives, rather than just repeating claims across multiple sources that mistake themselves as evidence; like a bunch of people who repeat “bob farted” across multiple websites may see that as evidence, when in fact, it was Sean. Sorry Sean.

Early Origins of MAGA:
o Although some believe MAGA began in 2015, its roots lie as early as the 1980s with Rush Limbaugh and later became "serious" on 9/11.
o 9/11 conspiracy theories claim controlled demolitions were used, but the lack of any cellphone recordings of explosions weakens this theory.

Suspicious Factors:
o The official narrative involving chaotic jet fuel leading to a straight fall seemed questionable.
o The collapse of a third building (WTC 7), which wasn’t directly hit, fueled suspicions.
o Airline stocks were heavily shorted before the attacks, raising concerns about insider trading. Harvey Pitt, Republican SEC Chairman at the time, investigated this and claimed there was nothing amiss, but was criticized for later crimes and forced to resign.
o It’s also suspicious that in Trumps 2000 book “The America We Deserve” that he stated, “I really am convinced we’re in danger of the sort of terrorist attacks that will make the [1993] bombing of the Trade Center look like kids playing with firecrackers. No sensible analyst rejects this possibility, and plenty of them, like me, are not wondering if but when it will happen*.”*
§ Yet democrats would largely miss this point entirely and obsess over his false claim that he called for Bin Laden to be killed, when he had not. Somehow conspiracy theorists would find this ‘cool’ rather than suspicious.

Reports and Simplified Narratives:
o FEMA's 2002 report and NIST's 2005 report provided technical explanations of the tower collapses.
o However, the Port Authority Chairman stuck to the oversimplified narrative that "jet fuel melted steel beams," even though he knew this was a half-truth, as detailed in the next section, fueling anti-government conspiracies. The question is why.

Potential Impact:
o 9/11 conspiracy theories sowed distrust in the government, which may have been one of the attackers' objectives. Anyone that heavily profited from this tragedy, and helped further those objects, should be questioned.
o The ‘Loose Change’ “documentary” pointed out suspicious parts of the story, but failed to give any clear claims as to who was purportedly behind it. It also failed to note the Twin Towers titanic design flaw that could result in a straight fall. Even the 2015 version of this film fails to mention nearly all of the known facts in this report.
o The Director of that film later states:
“I DON’T THINK WE’D HAVE PRESIDENT TRUMP IF IT WEREN’T FOR 9/11”
“9/11 created a culture of fear, of xenophobia, this sense of entitlement and everything we’ve seen. Warrantless wire-tapping, Guantanamo Bay, everything that’s happened led us to this point, we wouldn’t be here without 9/11. They want to kick out all the Mexicans and Muslims because of this culture of fear and bigotry and xenophobia that directly led to the election of fucking Donald Trump. [laughing] That’s our world now! We had Reagan before, and Governor Schwarzenegger. But President Donald Trump? It’s just weird. Everything is just weird.”

The Twin Towers and Larry Silverstein
Architectural Pitfalls of the Twin Towers:
· The Twin Towers had unique architectural flaws due to the excessive heavy load on their exoskeletons to allow for more floor and leasing space, which greatly contributed to their straight collapse after the 9/11 attacks. This was the first and last skyscraper made in this way.
· For anyone who said that “any other building would have fallen sideways,” you were right, though perhaps not entirely how you may have imagined. A "Coke Can" analogy shows how a similar weakened structure can result in a straight fall, contrary to conspiracy theories claiming controlled demolitions. This isn't something I'm asking you to take for granted, or to read from media sources you don’t trust. This is something you can verify on your own, in person, in real time, in reality.
· However Trump, despite being close friends with Silverstein as we’ll cover later, claimed "It wasn’t architectural defects, you know, the World Trade Center was always known as a very, very strong building” per the attached PolitiFact article.

Larry Silverstein, The Leasor Of The Twin Towers:
· Nearly went bankrupt after losing his main tenant Drexel Burnham in 1980 after he built tower 7 with him in mind.
· I don't know how many of us understand the level of desperation a situation like this can cause in someone and how many potential crimes it can easily push them towards.
· He is known for then saying, “…looking up at the twin towers and thinking, my building is huge, but it is made diminutive by the twin towers. So I said to myself, wouldn't it be incredible someday to own those?" That's not the statement of a sane person who nearly went bankrupt, and if anything, hints towards jealousy.
· He managed to secure Salomon Brothers two years later, which later paid $300 million in securities fraud penalties casting suspicion over the entities who saved Silverstein, in addition to their overall plans for the future.
· How he would become able to outbid everyone else in 2001, for the right to lease the twin towers, would become a mystery we will untangle later.

The bidding for the World Trade Center lease involved only a few major real estate firms as allowed by the Port Authority Chairman. Below are the allowed bidders and their estimated worth at the time included:

· Donald J. Trump’s Organization:
o Worth around $1.5 billion in 1996 after multiple bankruptcies. Confirmed only by Forbes magazine in 2005.
· Tishman Speyer:
o Valued at approximately $1.8 billion in 2000, would soon face ‘tenant issues’ with many scrupulous legal claims against them.
· Gale & Wentworth:
o Worth a few million.
· Mortimer Zuckerman’s Boston Properties:
o Mortimer Zuckerman alone was worth around $2 billion.
· The Rouse Company:
o Mainly a shopping mall operator.
· Brookfield Properties:
o A Canadian firm valued at over $20 billion in 2000.
· Vornado Realty Trust:
o Worth an estimated $2-3 billion. Had the highest bid, but was unexpectedly outed by the Port Authority Chairman, paving the way for Silverstein’s win. CEO of Vornado Trust, Steven Roth would later do many deals with Trump in 2005 and beyond.
· Larry Silverstein:
o As mentioned, was nearly bankrupt in the 1980s, and was mysteriously awarded the right to lease the World Trade Center contract at $3.2 billion, twice the original asking price of 1.2 Billion. It would still be owned by the Port authority of NY and NJ, he would just own the rights to lease it.
o Port Authority Chairman, Lewis Eisenberg, made this unexplained decision, who also later became Trumps lead fundraiser in 2015.
o After putting down only $125 million, as per the contract, Silverstein would be getting back $100 million just 6 weeks after his bid and with an uncommon terrorist insurance addition. His exaggerated bid and insurance contract would also greatly inflate the amount of money he could get from an insurance claim. If the winning bid was 1.5 billion, the insurance payout would also have been much less.
o In real estate, its quite rare for a prudent investor to bid twice the asking price, as demonstrated by the other companies that backed out, of which I find no connections to Trump.
o If anyone had known about 9/11 ahead of time, like Trump claims he did, it would become drastically easier to outbid all competitors, knowing that for pennies on the dollar, you would be getting much more back.

Giuliani’s Gangster Acts
Arguably, if the above points are what they objectively appear to be, that would be a bad thing. You’d think that would be enough. However, Guliani would say “hold my beer’ to those sentiments.

1. Outdated Equipment for First Responders:
· Due to Giuliani’s inadequate leadership, first responders used old equipment that failed to warn them to evacuate the towers. Which contributed to their deaths while they searched for survivors.

2. Obstructed Recovery Efforts:
· Giuliani delayed proper search and rescue operations for days, possibly costing lives of citizens and first responders who didn’t know they needed to leave.
· 20 Years later he would claim that some of Bidens actions were so reckless that… “It would be as if I got down to ground zero and said take out the firefighters, all you civilians see if you can get yourselves out.” Self report?

4. Survivors Threaten To SUE Guliani For Relief Funds
· Even after privatizing the twin towers fund, Giuliani would make it incredibly difficult for the victims to receive their fair share. Requiring many of them to spend unnecessary money on advisors and consultants.
· Even with their legal pressure, he only agreed to “give the remaining 100 million to victims,” out of 170 million, if he could first put the money into the bank account of a charity in which he controlled.
· From the attached article: “But Harold Schaitberger, president of the International Association of Fire Fighters, said that he remained adamantly opposed to any transfer of funds to Mr. Giuliani's charity.
He also objected to Mr. Giuliani's continued control over even the $15 million in his private charity. Mr. Giuliani, he charged, gives every indication of using the Twin Towers Fund to maintain a staff of loyal supporters and to advance his political aspirations.
'The concern that politics will infiltrate the fund becomes even more apparent when one reviews the list of the mayor's former political appointees who are assuming senior staff positions or serving on the fund's board of directors,'' he wrote in a letter on Monday to Eliot L. Spitzer, the state attorney general.”

Silverstein’s Unscrupulous Greed
1. Initial Settlement Demands and Profit Claims:
· Despite only having been out for $25 million, Silverstein initially sought nearly $8 BILLION in insurance settlements and argued for "loss of revenue from those buildings," which is quite an uncompassionate claim considering how many lost their lives. Talk about a prime example of the working and lower classes making sacrifices while rich elites complain they didn’t profit enough from the same tragedy.
2. Rebuilding Contributions and Insurance Payout:
· Despite the fact that he only owned the leasing rights to the twin towers, ‘Silverstein Properties’ received up to $4 billion from insurance payouts, instead of the Port Authority, which would be customary as the owner.
· While it's assumed that most of that money went to rebuilding, this isn't actually known or proven. It would be different if he had a separate insurance policy that was not connected to the rebuilding of the towers, with different monies going to the Port Authority to rebuild. This was not the case.
History.com: Rebuilding of Ground Zero
· He additionally refused to return the rights of Building 1 to the Port Authority until he secured additional funds from an $8 billion state fund. Talk about heartless.
Wikipedia: Larry Silverstein
· Various entities would contribute a total of $20 billion to rebuild all six damaged or destroyed towers, including four towers leased by Silverstein and two others he hadn't. This makes it unlikely that he had to go out of pocket with his 4 Billion.
3. Estimated Net Worth:
· While earlier records of Silverstein's net worth are unavailable, aside from his near bankruptcy in 1980, he is currently estimated to be worth around $1 billion.

He also made an unfounded claim that he saw thousands of Muslims in New Jersey cheering, a statement that has been widely debunked. Legacy of Suspicion:
These actions paint Trump as one of the more suspicious figures post-9/11, who may have used the tragedy for personal and political gain. His connections with figures like Larry Silverstein and Lewis Eisenberg, the Port Authority chairman, hint at deep financial interests potentially influenced by the 9/11 aftermath. Meanwhile, survivors and first responders faced challenges in securing support, highlighting the disparities between their experiences and the political maneuvers at play. Again morbidly juxtaposing the struggles of the poor and working class versus elite swamp members such as Trump and his ilk.

While being, arguably, one of the more suspicious Americans of potentially “being an insider," Trump would go on to cast doubt everywhere else with his new holier than thou rhetoric and hints and claims that “it was an inside job” for the next 15 years.

What if he was speaking from personal experience.

The Deepfake Dilemma
Now in a world where Trump's followers already discount reality, the emergence of AI-generated deepfakes threatens to further distort the truth. This technology could transform legal standards of evidence, making it easy to dismiss genuine evidence against the right as fabricated, while baseless accusations against the left might be accepted as the long-awaited proof.

The Potential Escalation of MAGA Actions
Given the willingness of MAGA supporters to storm the Capitol on January 6th, bolstered by Trump's incendiary rhetoric, the potential for escalation is alarming. The advent of fabricated images and videos could present unprecedented national security threats.

Trump's Incendiary Rhetoric on January 6th
Trump's speech on January 6th was a clear incitement, as he urged his followers to "fight like hell" to "stop the steal," despite admitting DURING THE SPEECH that there was no evidence of the massive electoral fraud he claimed. As well as his lawyers laughable court “arguments.”
“...while there is no evidence to prove any wrongdoing…”
Npr.Org Read Trumps Jan 6 Speech

This speech, coupled with his undermining of constitutional processes, underscores the risks and intentional deceit of his rhetoric. Too bad Republicans senators and our Supreme Court have either claimed he was above the law, or continue to postpone his court dates till after elections. A wild position when treason is on the table. Did that dude commit treason that claims he wants to become a dictator? I dunno, lets let him potentially get elected and then find out!

Elon Musk's Political Shift
Elon was once very much a leftist, unfortunately in more and more far left “activists” continue to attack him endlessly for not agreeing with them on their own singular issues and perspectives. To them I say congratulations, you successfully pushed the most powerful man on earth into the far right. Great job. Great job.
Elon Musk's journey from a liberal supporter to a figure embraced by the far right highlights the volatile nature of political affiliations in today's polarized environment. His actions since acquiring Twitter—such as promoting unfounded conspiracy theories and making high-profile firings—suggest a departure from his initial free speech advocacy.
Especially when considering he fired Don Lemon from his platform for an interview he found offensive. Canceling opinions you find offensive isn’t free speech, it’s literally the opposite. I’m sure many people were offended by the examples below. What about them?

The Need for a Critical Approach
Supporters of Trump should critically evaluate why he did not pardon the January 6th insurrectionists during his term, despite using them as political leverage now. This pattern of using allies until they are no longer useful is evident throughout his political and personal dealings.
What better example could there possibly be as to what trump truly thinks of his supporters, how sacrificial he sees them as part of his endless narratives, then his refusal and failure to pardon January 6th insurrectionists while still in office?
Of course, anyone “just on the grass” or outside the building should only get a day in jail at most, however people that barged inside the capital should naturally get much more.
And while trump refused to pardon those people before, he now calls them “hostages” and is using them as political bait to a truly wild degree. It's very likely he will make good on this promise to further embolden the narrative that “Democrats are trying to take you down and only I can save you.”
His supporters need to seriously ask, “Why didn’t he pardon us before?”
Also, remember when he claimed he would pay legal fees for supporters that were violent at his rallies, but then seemed to falter and change his mind. Much like how Amber Heard donated her money, “by pledging it.”
List of allies he was quick to discard or dump. And let's face it, all of these people have done more for him than the average MAGA supporter. The only person he cares about is himself.
Trump claims that Mike Pence, the man he vetted more than anyone else, “has gone to the dark side.”
Trump seems to have supported the chants to “Hang Mike Pense,” at least in jest? We hope? There are also no links of him condemning them. Yet admittedly this one point doesn’t have hard evidence like a recording or video as far as I know, it certainly fits his brand.
Mike Flynn, a Trump appointee, later testifies against him.
Trump admits Flynn lied on his behalf, accidentally testifying against him, but does pardon him. As long as you’re colluding with Russia you’re ok it seems?

The Future Under Trump's Influence
Trump's rhetoric about overriding constitutional norms to address what he calls "massive fraud" hints at authoritarian aspirations. His praise for dictators and divisive language further aligns with dangerous historical precedents.

Stated he intended to be a Dictator on day one, but then promises it will be just for a day. Is that how that works? Or is it “Once you go Dictator you don’t go back?”
Praising dictators, referring to immigrants as vermin etc, akin to Hitlers rhetoric against “blood mixing.”
More fraudulent use of lawyers and courts that gets everyone else in trouble but him, with them arguing he's above the law. This further shows how much he will consistently use people for his own ends and then dump them when they're no longer of use.

Naturally there are endless possibilities of what MAGA and dictators around the world decide to do this year and into the future. I believe that the one thing that insinuates when it's time for their next evil actions is dictated by their standings in the polls or when a fellow dictator needs a little more political pressure from war torn inflated oil prices etc.

While writing my thesis, I speculated that dictators globally were uniting, finding mutual benefits in their governance and deceitful tactics. This theory is increasingly recognized as these autocrats appear to be forming a coalition, undermining peaceful unity efforts through conspiracy theories to preserve their power.
Unherd How Autocrats Unite
The True Nature of MAGA
MAGA was never genuinely about speaking truth to power or restoring America's glory. It has been an elaborate scheme funded by immense wealth, perpetuating anti-American sentiments through fabricated grassroots movements by domestic and foreign actors. This movement has primarily enriched a select few power-hungry dictators and may have been responsible for some of our most horrific moments in history in the past and acts yet to come.
Trump and MAGA
While 'MAGA' predates Trump, he conveniently stepped into a role long in the making. Despite occasional deviations from the MAGA ideology, such as promoting vaccines to emphatic boos, Trump has largely embodied its principles. The real architects of MAGA, however, are likely disillusioned with his unpredictable attacks, which contradict their broader agenda of absolute power.

u/neodestiny and friends.
This work may very well help to shift the narrative on Trump in a meaningful and foundational way, but I don't want this work exacerbate any feelings of ill will to MAGA members, for they have been prey to possibly one of the largest con jobs our world has ever seen, especially without the help of this counternarrative.

CNN Fact Check Donald Trump Osama Bin Laden Book Claim

Theoutline Reflecting On Loose Change
o While the director was in the right to ask questions, he failed to ask the most obvious ones.
o However, his lead “researcher,” Jason Bermas, would turn out to be a full blown MAGA wingnut.
Patriot Jason Bermas
o Anyone that would benefit politically and financially from 9/11 should be fully investigated.

LawAndCrime Come On Now

Predicting MAGA 2024 And Beyond
Naturally there are endless possibilities of what MAGA and dictators around the world decide to do this year and into the future. I believe that the one thing that insinuates when it's time for their next evil actions is dictated by their standings in the polls or when a fellow dictator needs a little more political pressure from war torn inflated oil prices etc.
Dictators Unite

CNN Fact Check Donald Trump Osama Bin Laden Book Claim

· How he would become able to outbid everyone else in 2001, for the right to lease the twin towers, would become a mystery we will untangle later.

o Port Authority Chairman, Lewis Eisenberg, made this unexplained decision, who also later became Trumps lead fundraiser in 2015.
o After putting down only $125 million, as per the contract, Silverstein would be getting back $100 million just 6 weeks after his bid and with an uncommon terrorist insurance addition.

· However, there is no evidence of Giuliani making good on this promise.
· There are honestly no words for this. All associates of Guliani should be investigated.
5. Attempted Election Cancellation in 2001:
· Giuliani tried to cancel the 2001 election to stay mayor longer. He even considered removing term limits with Governor Pataki’s support. Similar to how Trump has “joked” about increasing his own term limits.

· In 2000, Guliani unfortunately got prostate cancer. We have to be willing to ask if this was a motive for his corrupt acts.

Silverstein’s Controversial Alignment with Trump
Larry Silverstein's connections and public persona have often been scrutinized. This scrutiny became particularly relevant in 2015 when he publicly displayed his support for Donald Trump:

The Man Who Boasted
When most people witness a tragedy, especially of this size, it takes time for their brains to comprehend what happened, it takes even more time to process it. Thus, anyone who was able to brag about their own assets hours after this tragedy on a radio show, is at least worthy of Investigation, especially if this very event helped reshape a misinformation landscape in which he would thrive as its King.
Politifact – How 911 Attacks Helped Shape Modern Misinformation

· Insensitive Boasts About Building Height:
o Trump also boasted that with the fall of the Twin Towers, his building became the tallest in Manhattan—an inaccurate and insensitive claim given the context.
Independent 9 11 Trump Tallest Building
· Early Claims and Revisions:
o Shortly after 9/11, Donald Trump claimed he saw the second plane hit the towers from his Manhattan apartment. He also made an unfounded claim that he saw thousands of Muslims in New Jersey cheering, a statement that has been widely debunked. Despite varying explanations and suggesting that he saw it on an untraceable video that was “widely covered,” these claims helped fueled significant conspiracy theories. If anything, this was a self-report.

· Visit to Ground Zero:
o A week after the attacks, Trump visited Ground Zero and stated that although he was present, he wouldn’t consider himself a first responder. This attempt at humility struck many as morbidly insensitive, considering the true heroism displayed by actual first responders.
ABC News: Trump Shares New Details About Morning of 9/11

LawAndCrime Come On Now

Far Right Support Examples: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

To predict the future lets base it on known facts:
Apparently, he will help attack our constitution like he may have with the Twin Towers.
“A Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution.”

Nbc News Donald Trump Booed
Trump as a Martyr
Regardless of election outcomes, Trump is poised to claim interference. His rhetoric and the devout belief of his followers in his divine anointment could lead to his martyrdom, especially given his age and the vulnerabilities it brings. This martyrdom could solidify his legacy while serving the interests of MAGA strategists who find him increasingly burdensome even if he “wins.”

2024.05.12 01:51 Keith502 X-Men '97 kinda sucks

I was a kid when the original X-Men: The Animated Series debuted, and it quickly became my favorite cartoon of all time. When I learned they were making a reboot of the cartoon, no one wanted this show to be good more than me; and leading up to the debut, I was cautiously optimistic. But when the show finally debuted, I found myself underwhelmed. I wanted to love this show like I loved the original show, but unfortunately I've only been able to like it, at most. With each passing episode, I could only manage a lukewarm satisfaction with this show, but I couldn't quite put my finger on what the reason was. Why didn't I like this show more? There doesn't seem to be anything glaringly wrong with it, so why don't I love it? Recently, now that the I've seen the penultimate episode of the season, I think I've figured it out. The fact is, there is no one reason I don't like this show; while the show does a number of things well, it also has a bunch of little problems that just accumulate and dilute the good things in the show. So I've come to the conclusion that even though this show is superficially the continuation of the legendary X-Men: TAS (including story continuity, voice actors, intro sequence, and theme music), this show just doesn’t hold a candle to the original. The following is a bit of a rant where I list the things that have bugged me about this show and make it significantly inferior to the original.
To be fair, this show is probably one of the better X-Men productions we've had since X-Men TAS. It's more faithful to the comics than Fox-Men ever was. And so far it seems to be a better X-Men cartoon than the likes of "X-Men: Evolution" or "Wolverine and the X-Men". But as I said before, it really doesn't do justice to the original show, in my opinion. And furthermore, I dare say that it's really not a very well-written or well-crafted show in its own right. The writing, the directing, and the visuals are just poor. Everything about this show looks good at first glance, but when you look deeper, it's just empty. That's my rant. What do you think?

2024.05.11 23:30 Asterfields1224 I've never met a family who could relate to Shameless as much as mine. This is going to be LONG, but does anyone have a family like this?

I am 110% Fiona to the point I feel like the producers have stalked my life and I've never met more of a real life Fiona or real life Shameless family in my life (at least not yet!)
I had to take care of my seven younger siblings (I was the oldest of 8) from the time I was six years old. My mom was severely bipolar and dad was extremely physically abusive (for example throwing us down stairways, kicking pregnant mom in the stomach, giving us black eyes and broken bones, punching and kicking us with full force on a daily basis for little to no reason etc) and then abandoned the family a few years ago.
Our family dynamics were so complex there's no way I could explain it all here in a few paragraphs, but Shameless is the only show I've EVER seen in my life that even remotely relates to the amount of chaos my family went through/still goes through on a daily basis.
I missed out on so much because I decided to put everyone before myself. It caused a lot of resentment, and younger siblings started to take advantage of me. And then started disrespecting the fck out of me and expecting things and acting totally entitled to my time, money, energy, etc, while I was completely suffering and no one noticed or cared. It got so bad I ended up forming a serious opiate pill addiction to cope with everything.
I had siblings who were terminally ill and literally laying on the floor dying, addicted to hard drugs, became prostitutes, drug dealers, gang members, etc. And I did EVERYTHING in my power to help/stop them. I took care of my sick mom and my schizophrenic/hallucinating brother and anorexic little sister who had heart failure. I spent every single penny to my name to try to get them treatments that could possibly save their lives. I worked 4 jobs and was in school at the same time. I sent my brother to Mexico for an alternative healing treatment which costed me 10s of thousands of dollars and I tried my best to renovate a new room for him to return to...
They all ended up dying anyway, just last year, literally one after another - My mom, then 3 months later, my sister, then 3 months later, my brother. I didn't leave any of their sides until they were dead...Despite the insanity, we were all so close I knew for sure once my mom died that some of us would go with her and unfortunately, I was right...
Whenever anything goes wrong, people find ways to blame me or put me in the middle of it even though I've been the one there for them the entire time doing everything in my power to prevent these things from happening to begin with.
My youngest sister (Debbie to a T) went absolutely insane OVERNIGHT (it seemed) and purposely got pregnant at 19 with a random homeless pimp/drug dealer she met on the street and even after I offered her an amazing life in a great house, she chose to cut off the entire family and just disappear after making dozens of death threats to all of us and doing thousands of dollars of damage to all of our cars, houses, property, sentimental items, etc etc. She slandered all of our names publicly and tried to have us arrested and killed multiple times.
She's been in and out of jail and mental hospitals, and I have no idea where she is now but she claimed to have killed several people by shooting them in gang violence situations and by drugging them. She became totally evil, and I'm still terrified for my life and hope she never comes back. I purchased 7 security cameras for my new house and car.
Our original family home was SO bad off, but we lived in it FOREVER, literally until last year when it finally had to be demolished due to code enforcement kicking us out.
It was filled with black mold, rats, roaches, holes in the floors, walls, ceilings, broken windows, glass all over the floor, hoarded piles of trash, people sleeping on the floor all cramped, raccoons, random cats, possums and all kinds of wild animals would just run in and out of the house due to some areas having no walls and how big the holes were. NOTHING in the house worked properly. Sometimes, I'd have to sneak into a random gym or hotel to take showers, use a working toilet, etc.
We had nowhere to live after that, so we all stayed in a hotel where there were shootings, drug deals, and pimps fighting in the parking lot daily.
Then, finally, last year, I saved up and got us a really nice big rental place, and all my remaining younger brothers and 1 sister live with me, and I'm still parenting them...
We've been discussing how I need to step back and take a break and live my own life, so I had them agree to all pay equal rent in order to move in and to help pay bills and get groceries etc.
Things are very slowly improving in some ways, but the "parenting" unfortunately never ends. I had to bail one of them out of jail just LAST WEEK when they got arrested OUT OF STATE...making matters way worse...
Things were so bad at our old house for the longest time, every single time I'd drive around the corner my heart would start pounding and I'd be internally praying, "PLEASE don't let there be cop cars, firetrucks, EMTs, CPS, or FBI outside, someone overdosing or dead, house on fire, etc" and any time there WASN'T one of those things going on, I'd feel a small moment of relief but still scared to see what I'd find inside each day...
I'm 34 years old now, I graduated with a bachelor's degree in psychology and another degree in art. I feel like I've never been able to fully focus on myself, I've never had anyone older to look up to, I'll never know that nurturing feeling that the rest of my siblings get to feel from me. It causes me to enter into toxic relationships with men twice my age because I guess I want to feel taken care of for once in my life and I just want to be "the younger one" for a change.....
I've always been extremely naturally athletic, but my dad banned me from sports and the gym "because I'm a girl." But I was finally able to join a combat sport 2 years ago; I'm getting pretty good at it now, beating guys twice my size. I have over 15 trophies/medals so far, and it's given me something to focus on. It's one of the only things that helps me get out of bed. My coach completely took me under his wing and I've been entering national competitions lately.
Anyway, ideally, I'd like to find the energy to get back to working on my art and get into a gallery soon. 💖🙏 I used to have pretty good success selling my art here and there but all of this stuff that happened over the past few decades just absolutely drained me to death.
I've never been to therapy in my life and at this point I just have to work on my extreme debilitating fatigue and exhaustion, PTSD, severe anxiety, insomnia, etc. And find a way to stop constantly putting everyone before myself.
Once I get past those things, I hope to be able to help more people and change the world through artwork with positive messages and using my psychology skills to help counsel others and improve their lives too. 🙏💖💖💖💖💖

2024.05.11 23:21 KyleKKent Out of Cruel Space, Part 999

~First~
(Lord save me, this headache won’t go away.)
HHH/Herbert’s Hundred Harem
“You know there is the possibility of bi-locating with Axiom effects right?” Jahlassi asks him. The ‘interrogation’ had gone perfectly and had ended with a happy Gina heading home with a belly full of pastry and warm cider, an assurance that her life was soon to get better and the smug satisfaction that she had done everything in her power to hit back against the people that had conned her so long ago.
“Yes, but such ability is either so obvious that even the average citizen will know something is up, or the sign of an extremely potent adept. Which is very rare and would narrow our suspect list to roughly a hundred thousand individuals across Centris. Not including the ones directly in the employ of The Undaunted.” Herbert replies. The information of the specific times, no less than eight very specific times Gina clearly remembers due to the events surrounding them, meant they just had to narrow things down in a society where cameras were everywhere. Where the only place and time you could be sure you weren’t being recorded was if you swept the area yourself and turned off or destroyed any camera you could find. And even then, some could see through some kinds of walls and didn’t need a clear line of sight.
The problem wasn’t figuring out where everyone was, it was narrowing down the sheer number of people. Which numerous powerful computers, synths and data crunchers, or some who were all three, were working on even now.
“And if it IS a potent adept?” Jahlassi asks.
“Well... this is a very serious situation. Which means that it likely wouldn’t take much persuasion for one of the most potent adepts on the planet to take a break from her current duties and press down on such a possible threat?”
“You’re considering asking Lady Bazalash to interfere personally?”
“Again? Yes.”
“She interfered because billions of lives were on the line.”
“And if we find and spook an Adept skilled enough to be in two places at once without cluing in the people around them that they’re using Axiom, who has access to and knowledge of how to use Blood Metal on a scale never before seen in the galaxy in one of it’s most densely overpopulated planets. I dare say billions or trillions will be a conservative casualty estimation.” Herbert says.
“Right that... that is a very good point.”
“I’m glad you agree.” Hebert says as he cracks his neck. “What about the question I posed to the our team when I left to aid in investigations? What are our solutions for the disposal of the Blood Metal?”
“We do not understand Blood Metal sufficiently to dispose of it without a guarantee of no negative side effects. It’s just too rare and unknown. We have determined it would be best if we were to divide up the metal and have the pieces researched at different facilities that only sporadically have contact with each other.”
“That would slow research if there’s only a minimum of collaboration.” Herbert muses. “But that’s the downside of security. We know blood metal can actively pull apart Axiom Constructs and create them like a combination of much more vicious trytite and khutha. But it doesn’t stop there, it actively takes the Axiom it disrupts into itself to further empower it’s own effects. It eats it.” Herbert says.
“A bit over-dramatic, but that is a good summation. That fear effect though, that’s new.”
“It is. Beyond what it does to Axiom and the newly discovered fear effect it is also known to make people uneasy to look at it. But not in any way that’s easily explained. Could that simply be a lesser version of the fear effect? Or rather perhaps the fear effect is the uneasiness temporarily taken to an extreme?” Herbert asks as he rubs the side of his head. Everything is happening at once and more is coming. He has been trained for this, but training for it and being in the fire are entirely different.
He then straightens up and focuses his gaze. He will meet this challenge. For he is Undaunted. He will live up to the code as best he can. He can take it. This is just training for next time, and next time this will be easy.
He then mentally deflates a little as he’s hyping himself up at entirely the wrong moment. This isn’t the action, lead the troops through the trenches time. This is the waiting time. No matter how infuriating that waiting may be.
He needs to grow up. Possibly literally as he has too much energy right when he needs to be calm.
“Urgh... it’s like hearing the whistle...” He mutters to himself in frustration.
“The whistle?” Jahlassi asks.
“It’s an effect in old shows to show something is falling. A declining whistle.” He says before mimicking the whistle. “Often used to show a bomb is coming in a comedy show. Right now I can practically hear the bomb falling, but I can’t do anything but wait for it to impact. And with how much energy my younger body has it’s driving me to distraction.”
“You’re not comfortable being so small?”
“I’m rolling with a bad situation. If it were my choice, if I could truly choose I would be in my late twenties at least. The size and strength I had at that age was nice. Also this?” He gestures to his face. Jahlassi cannot find any flaw, the young man looks immaculate and seems to have walked out of a woman’s dream about younger men. “This is a problem. It’s too distracting, too much an attention getter. When puberty hits the good looks are thankfully lost.”
“You don’t like looking good?”
“Too much attention. If I need to charm someone that’s what talking to them and being charming is about. But if people are charmed at the first sight of me then I get far, far too much attention. Men already stand out a lot. An incredibly good looking little boy just at the edge of becoming a man? That’s dangerous.” He says. “Not only am I borderline hyper, but I’m as literal as jail-bait can be without someone leaving a trail of candy into a cell.”
“You ARE the candy that leads into the cell with that sweet voice my friend.”
“That’s the point! I’m supposed to be subtle and composed! But I’m obvious and hyper! I hate being a kid!” He exclaims before huffing. Sharing an obvious frustration with her ought to open her up a little more.
“And no one’s looked into ways of quickly aging as by our perspective it happens soon enough anyways.” Jahlissa remarks in a distinctly amused tone. And it worked.
“Right, I’m going to do something while we wait for results. I’m going to vibrate through the floor plating and down to the bottom of the spire if I don’t.” Herbert says before starting to head out of the room.
“I’m under orders to be near you when you’re not performing field duties.” Jahlassi says and Herbert freezes and looks back.
“Surely The Trytite Lady has experienced situations like this before.”
“The exact details are of course different, but yes. The real concern is humanity. You’ve been in the galaxy for just shy of a year. As in a few more days and it will have been a single year. Lady Bazalash is concerned about so young, so vibrant and so reckless a people shattering themselves like prop glass.”
“Prop glass?”
“A special easily broken glass that is used for props in movies and plays. It even breaks in a rounded manner so that if it lands on someone or is stepped upon it doesn’t lacerate.” She explains and he considers.
“That’s kind of her, by why me in specific?”
“You’re one of the most unusual humans there are. You’re not some prodigy adept but you have tasted one of the greatest gifts of the galaxy in excess. You have excelled, proven yourself and been knocked down again and again. Literally. There are concerns.” She says and he considers that.
“I see. Well then, I was planning on changing into more exercise appropriate clothing then entering a holo-chamber to exercise and burn off my excess energy. Nothing to be concerned about.”
“I see. Do you mind if you’re watched?”
“I do, but if you were to join me instead lady Nagasha and...” Herbert begins before his communicator starts going off. “Oh thank god there’s physical work to do. Excuse me.”
“I’ll pass your thanks to My Lady.”
“Not that God.”
“Which one then?” She asks in a cheeky tone.
“The all loving creator who was there before a single light in the sky was formed?”
“Oh her? Okay.” She teases.
“You know what I mean you cheeky, cheeky woman.” Herbert says back in a cheery tone. “Now if you’ll excuse me I need to...”
His communicator goes off again and he looks at it before his eyes widen. “Oh.”
“Oh what?”
“They’re here, slightly ahead of schedule.” Herbert says. “Excuse me.”

“Sir, Intelligence Operative Jameson present and accounted for.” Herbert says as he rushes onto the bridge without looking like he’s rushing. He takes up his position beside Admiral Cistern before holding up a mug of coffee on a platter. “Need this sir?”
“I’ve got so much in me that I need to let my blood water it down a little.” Admiral Cistern states.
“That wasn’t a no.” Herbert says before Admiral Cistern takes it.
“No, I just want it noted that I’m more coffee than human at this point.” He states.
“A new type of Erumenta Sir? Congratulations for siring a species.” Herbert jokes and gets a huff of amusement.
“Perhaps not. The odds are going every which way about this. Where do you place your own odds?”
“My bet is on us sir. I’m ready, I’ve been ready for a month. Sir Philip’s last true assignment to me before departing was to come up with all possible scenarios of The Inevitable’s Mission and proper responses to each. We have this sir. No matter what they’re bringing, we have the legal right, the monetary, military and numbers advantage in every way. They cannot defeat us.”
“It’s not victory or defeat that has me concerned Herbert. What has me concerned is the aftermath. The consequences. The further reaching effects.”
“I know. I just need you to know that I’m guarantying you will be there to make those choices.” Herbert says.
“Thank you, how are your investigations going?”
“We’ve reached the hurry up and wait part. We’re narrowing our suspect list significantly. But this is a system where having a list hundreds of trillions long is considered small. Thankfully it shouldn’t take more than a few hours.” Herbert says.
“Good, and the active combat going on?” Admiral Cistern inquires.
“Light, mostly skirmishes and distractions until police can swoop in and saturate the area with stun cannons.” Herbert says. “I was about to join a relatively close hot zone that just flared up when I received news of The Inevitable’s Data Package. It seems that the spell Lady Bazalash and Rikaxza spun is starting to fray ever so slightly.”
“Well it bought us precious time and we got a good grip on things.” Admiral Cistern notes.
“Sir, the package is decompressed and has accepted all codes. Text files only, on screen now...” The Communications Officer says before a screen full of gibberish appears. “Hang on, running it through our decryption...”
“Why are they so paranoid about this?” Herbert wonders out loud before the message decodes. “Ah.”
“So. They’re coming to render judgment.” Admiral Cistern notes. “Hmm... send them the return package and also inform them that a political firestorm is currently active on this world. Proper greetings shall be coming soon once we have established a stable video and audio link.”
“Well things are ominous to begin with. Their main communications array must be having some difficulties, or they’re currently speaking with the nearby cordon fleet that stops people from blundering into Cruel Space from the big laneways that lead into it as they converge.” Herbert remarks.
“Sir we have a text response from The Inevitable.” The Communications Officer says.
“Read it out Officer.” Admiral Cistern states.
“It’s a... well it’s from Madam Anastasia Stepanova Sir. She is on The Inevitable with several other ‘distinguished individuals’ and looks forward to working with us. Distinguished Individuals has quotation marks around it Sir.” The Officer says.
“Well that’s not ominous, not at all.” Herbert notes.
“Thankfully she’s going to be most concerned with YOUR department over any other. Which means I get my hands clean.” Admiral Cistern teases him.
“Sir! You betray me!” Herbert says dramatically.
“Poppycock. I’m merely saving myself from a witch by pointing out her favourite prey. An innocent child.”
“As innocent as a Fox in a henhouse sir.” Herbert dismisses.
“Sir, we have open contact with The Inevitable.”
“On Screen.” Admiral Cistern states and he comes face to face with his opposite.

Why is the internet so divided on these topics/celebrities?
Biden did just as much wrong and right as trump did. He has absolute shit policies like trump but good ones ..like trump too
Elon created a masterpiece of a company that propelled the ev car legacy forever...he did and said shit things to.. like any other human being ..
Tate was jailed and fasely accused, he said shit things online and is a pro raige bait producer... Yet he gave milkions to charity and he truly changed lives of alot of young men with no father figures
What I'm trying to say is, navigating reddit, I see alot of very strong biasis towards a certain demographic/political views, etc
Is reddit "woke" (hate this word), or reddit is curating soecific content for more people to see and agree with?

2024.05.11 19:29 Scott_Savino My Twin Disappeared After Reading A Book Called "The Legend of Mermaid's Roost"

We look the same and we always have but we couldn’t be more different from each other. I think that’s the best place to start with this. Some identical twins have a lot in common. They like the same foods, the same things on television, some even spend their entire lives dressing in the same clothes, but we were never those girls. For as long as I remember, it’s been hard for even our own parents to tell us apart were it not for our very different personalities. Our own mother can’t tell the difference between our voices over the phone to this day. We even have the same laugh, but after that we diverge. I’m extroverted and would much rather be outdoors than inside where she is bookish and reserved. As far as personality traits go, Lily and I have always shared very few.
We both have our father’s nose and our mother’s heart shaped face and her high cheekbones. The same raven-black hair falls in waves past both of our shoulders and the same emerald green, almond shaped eyes sparkle with hidden flecks of gold that you can only see if you take a look up close.
Still, there’s a connection between us that can’t be explained. We just feel it. Know it’s there. It’s a thing with identical twins no matter how truly different they really are. Some say it’s a sort of telepathy, if you believe in that sort of thing.
That’s the reason I knew something was wrong before I had proof. I knew when I woke up in the morning that something was happening and that it was big. I even knew when I finally got up the nerve to send her a text, she would reply this time; not right away–but this time–she would. She hadn't been replying to me at all lately, no matter how often I sent her messages. Something was different now. I'd hear back from her but it would be at least a week–possibly a few days more before I did. Sending this text was different. Something I could feel in my bones told me she'd finally tell me what was going on with her. Where had she been? In my heart, I knew the lack of communication over the past several months wasn’t something she had chosen. Somehow I knew she wanted to talk to me but for some reason she couldn’t and that was a very strange and unnerving feeling for a twin to have. In the past, before Lily’s recent radio-silence, she and I had rarely gone for more than a day or two without checking in. In the past year that had suddenly changed and I had no logical explanation for it.
This particular morning, a feeling of unease is everywhere around me and even somehow inside me. I feel it in bed before I even open my eyes. Like an itch you can’t scratch because you know it will just make the rash worse and trying to ignore it altogether will drive you mad. The worst part about the itch was knowing that after months of nothing, I would finally hear back from Lily. It was time. She was ready to talk. I knew it. I don't know how–I just did. Somehow after months of unanswered messages, my next text would finally garner a response and knowing that made me jittery. The itch was made worse by the inexplicable knowledge that the response was going to take days. At least I would get it, but I'd have to wait for it for days. If she hadn't replied to me in months, why should that make me feel so uneasy? I couldn't say. The whole prospect of this scenario made me nervous but I told myself I would send the message right after breakfast because my sister needed me to send it and she needed me to send it today. It was important that I reached out to her this morning.
Whatever happened is bothering me so much that I burn the pancakes and have to start them over three different times.
“Vibes are off today, Emily,” my wife Jasmine begins. She sits patiently waiting for me to serve her a plate of good ones, pancakes that aren’t burnt, at the table in our kitchenette, “I just changed that bag last night you know, and if you keep doing that I’ll have to take it out again before we even get to eat. What’s up with you?”
“Not me,” I reply, “it’s Lily. Something’s up with Lilly.”
“Oh? You finally hear back from her? What’s going on?”
“That’s just it. I haven't heard anything in months but that's definitely about to change. I don’t know. It’s just a feeling, babe. Hard to explain,” I say.
“A twin thing?” She asks.
“Exactly. It’s twintuition. It’s like–”
“–Intuition,” she finishes for me, “I get it. Did you try calling her or texting her yet?” Jasmine asks.
“No, but it’s because I’m afraid she won’t answer right away and I don’t want to have that fear be real.” I admit. “That’s weird isn’t it?”
“Very,” she says getting up from the table. She picks my phone up from the counter and grabs me by the waist, moving me away from the stove and spinning me around. She pecks a small kiss on my lips and lifts one of my hands, placing the phone into it. She gives me a little shove toward the kitchenette table and pulls out the chair for me.
“You’re going to sit here and write a text to your sister and I’m going to finish making breakfast.” She tells me.
I sit here looking at my phone for a while, unsure of how to start. Finally I type:
Anything wrong? Worried about you.
And I hit send.
_____________________________
Eight days pass before Lily texts me back and it’s a flood of texts in the morning from an unknown number. One after the other.
Sorry I didn’t get back to you right away. You were right about Eric. I didn’t tell you a lot because I thought you’d be ashamed of me. Or mad. You’ve always been so much stronger than I am.
I packed and left the night you text me. I was afraid to reply because I thought he might be able to read it somehow. He definitely was tracking the phone so I left it at the bus station that morning.
It took me a few days to get set up, but I’m in Echo Bay now and this is my new number. Just got one of those burner phones from Walmart. It’s nothing special but that’s on purpose.
I’m staying in a bungalow on the beach. Very cute. Just a few miles from you and Jasmine, actually. It’s nothing permanent, just an AirB&B. I figured coming here would be safest for now to figure out what to do next.
I never told him where you were and he’ll try to find me if he can. He’ll follow me to the end of the Earth. I should have told you about him. The whole truth. Now I finally can. If you’re not busy, come by today and I’ll tell you the whole story.
The last text she sends puts tears in my eyes and I call her right after I read it and we make plans…
I’m pretty sure if I stayed he’d have killed me sooner or later. Probably sooner.
I meet Lily for lunch at her bungalow in the afternoon and she’s right, it’s very cute. She, on the other hand, looks like a mess and I find myself both irate and awestruck. I don't understand how the bruises haven’t fully healed or even begun to heal a little. That bastard really did a number on her. It's eight days later and her face and skin is purple and green with bruises in so many places–appearing to be so fresh that you'd think she'd been at the bottom of a three-car pile up just the night before.
“He wasn’t always like this, you know,” she tells me, “in the beginning he was really charming…it took a long time to figure out that person wasn’t real.”
She doesn’t eat much, mostly just moves the food around on her plate with her fork. She goes quiet and drifts away from the conversation a lot which is strange for me because she was always the one with more focus. I’m the daydreamer. She’s the grounded one. That’s how we’ve always been. A few times while she’s sitting silently, she begins to cry. When I hold her hand, it turns into a wailing sob and I reassure her that none of this is her fault. That this sort of thing happens to a lot of women. That they feel trapped and never try to get out. Never try to escape. They don’t make it out. I reassure her that she’s still strong because she saw what was happening and she did something about it. She left. I reassure her quietly that although it shouldn’t be this way, that it shouldn’t happen, this still happens to lots of women anyway. She’s not alone. She escaped it. She’s a survivor.
“We can help find you a lawyer if you want,” I offer at one point, “we have money saved. We can pay for it,” and she immediately shuts the idea down.
“No. I’m not doing that,” she says adamantly, “I just want to be done with it. I came here to heal. I don’t know if I’m staying or not yet…”
She pauses for a moment and then adds: “I just need some time to figure out where I’m supposed to be.”
“But if you let him get away with it, he could do this to someone else,” I say, “you do realize that right? You need to do something. He needs to pay for this.”
“He does need to, but what if he gets away with it?” she asks, “what if I report all of it and he sits trial for it…and what if he gets off? I can't take that chance. It isn't worth the consequences of it. What if I don't win?”
“What if you do?” I ask her. She gets really quiet then, “promise me you’ll think about it.”
“I will,” she says and it’s almost a whisper, “I just need some time. I made it away and I’m safe. I don’t know if I want him to know where I am. If I do this then he knows I’m here and when he does, if I lose, he will kill me. You understand that don’t you? He will kill me. That man operates on some sort of twisted revenge. He won't even consider what would follow once he's gotten it. He'll just think about getting even with me.”
“Jail isn't a deterrent when you're dealing with a human grenade. He'll only want to explode–to destroy. He won't worry about what happens to him after that. He doesn't work that way.” She says.
She doesn’t want to let me take pictures of her bruises but I insist on it and somehow actually win that argument. She tells me she’s been trying not to even look in mirrors right now. She doesn’t want pictures of her looking like this on her brand new phone because what if she decides to take a picture of something beautiful, like a sunset, and she opens the camera and the photo gallery is right there and she has to look at this instead. I tell her that she’s still beautiful no matter what happened to her. All that matters is what happens next. So I take the pictures for her with my phone. She takes off her shirt and there are more bruises everywhere underneath and we take pictures of those too.
I manage to keep my own feelings bottled up for the entire afternoon until she takes her shirt off and now before I realize I’m doing it, I’m crying also.
“Shhh,” she whispers, “you can’t cry. You’re the strong one.”
I shake my head and tell her that we’re both strong and then we’re both sobbing and she presses her face against my chest and I press my head onto the top of hers until she steps away from me and tells me that I have to stop crying on her because I’m getting snot in her hair. We both laugh.
It’s not funny. Nothing about this afternoon has been, but we both laugh anyway and our laughs still sound the same.
I spend the entire day with her and as the sun goes down we leave her bungalow and take a walk along the beach.
“So, can I ask how you ended up falling for this guy? Identical or not we clearly operate on different wavelengths romantically and I just don't understand.” I say, and then add: “forgive me if that's too personal.”
“No. It isn't.” She begins, “and if only we operated on the same wavelength or even similar ones. I thought about you a lot in the past few years. Thought that if only I was a big old lezzie–like you, if I'd just went for girls, none of this would've ever happened.”
“Don't be so sure. Domestic abuse doesn't have a gender. There's shitty, abusive partners in queer relationships too.” I tell her.
“Well, regardless, I've actually asked myself the same question about a hundred times in the last week. What drew me to him and where and when did things change–you know? When did he go from the ideal boyfriend to an absolute monster?”
She tells me that when she met this bastard, Eric Warminster, it was like something out of a movie, and her story begins that way too–like a cheesy rom-com–so corny it sounds fake…I almost tell her how much I hate romantic comedies, I almost tell her to give me some horror flick any day of the week. I think better of it just before I do and don't say the thought aloud. She never went for horror, even when we were girls–and that's what she ended up with despite her aversion to it. That was what her life had become.
She tells me they were both in the produce section of the grocery, neither of them paying too much attention–he on the phone and she looking over her shopping list. They both reached for a pineapple–the last pineapple in the crate. He asks her what she plans to do with it if he lets her have it and she tells him she's just going to cut it up and eat it. He tells her he’s making a pineapple-upsidedown cake with it.
“I've never had that.” She tells him honestly; matter-of-factly and he invites her over to his place later that night to be the judge of whether or not his recipe is any good. Normally, she tells me, she'd never have done something like that. She tells me that she's not the type to just go to a strange man's place on a whim…but he was good looking and had a charming way about him. She fondly describes his smile. It’s out of character and she can't say exactly what makes her drop her guard and give this man her number, but she does…
And the dinner he cooks for her as well as the cake he makes are both excellent.
“That wasn't the only cake he made for me. One day when we were still getting to know each other he asked me a load of questions. What's my favorite color? Favorite flower? That sort of thing. Remember that movie ‘Steel Magnolias?’ I told him that was my favorite movie. He says he's never seen it. Not a week later, he tells me he watched it and asks me to come by after work. Says he's got a surprise for me...” She says.
“No fuckin way.” I said, interrupting her. I told you rom-coms aren't really my thing, but I'd known that was Lily's favorite since we were in middle school. Of course I'd suffered through it and we'd watched it together…her with a tissue pressed against her eyes and me rolling mine.
“He made the Armadillo Cake?” I ask, “you mean to tell me he watched the movie just because you mentioned it and then he made the cake?”
Lily smiles briefly at the recollection and nods.
“He was very romantic…in the beginning.” She tells me.
Eric does all sorts of things to win Lily's heart: he'd make her breakfast in bed, take her on picnics. She tells me he would even sit there calmly while she complained about her co-workers and instead of trying to fix the problem or offer his advice, by the end of the conversation he'd have found a reason to hate the people she said she hated in her story and have his own complaints about them too. According to Lily, he was perfect…and then shortly after she moved in with him, things started to change and they changed fast.
Little things at first…she accidentally buys the wrong type of cereal at the store and is met with: “Frosted Flakes? Really? Not Frosted Flakes! Mini Wheats! Are you stupid or something? Frosted Mini Wheats! How hard is that for your useless, stupid brain to remember?”
She tells me that once she folded the towels the way our mother always had when we were growing up. He didn't fold them that way so he calls her into the bathroom, throws open the linen closet and proceeds to yank each one of them out one by one, unfolding them with a flick of his wrist before smooshing them into balls and leaving them in a heap on the floor.
“Do it the fuckin right away the first time, or do it again, moron.” He shouts at her before storming out of the room.
“He told me all my friends were toxic next. I didn't have any friends except my coworkers so he told me he didn't want me working anymore. Most women would kill to be homemakers. Do the dishes. Spend the afternoon watching soap operas. He put me on an allowance and I couldn't buy anything without telling him I was buying it.” She says. “He told me you were toxic too. Said you didn't love me and the way he said it…how he explained it, it was so convincing. That’s the reason I stopped returning your calls.” After she says this, she begins to cry quietly.
He tells her if she tries to reach me or any other of her so-called “toxic” family, and he finds out, he'll sell the car he bought her and they'd start having everything–all the shopping and groceries–delivered. She becomes afraid if she lets anyone know what’s happening she’ll lose what little freedom he grants her and she'll be trapped in their house for good…trapped there with him for good.
There are a few other anecdotes just like those ones in her story and I find myself getting more and more angry as she recounts all of this to me. Then it hits me: each story is just another small escalation. I'm so mad I could run this man down with my car, then get out and curb-stomp his head before setting him on fire.
I can feel the desire to do that just from what she tells me up to this point…
She still hasn't gotten to the day he begins to put his hands on her and my blood is already boiling.
She gets quiet for a long time and we just walk. I reach out and take her hand, and when I do she puts the thoughts that I was having just a moment earlier into words:
“I can sense how mad you are. I haven't even told you about the first time he hit me.” She says.
“You can keep talking about it, but you don't have to if you don't want to.” I say.
“I don't want to, but I'm going to anyway. I'm ashamed.”
“You shouldn't be. None of this was your fault.” I tell her.
“I know. I am anyway.” She continues, “I feel like I need to tell you. I have to tell someone. I haven't talked about any of this. It's poison and I want it out.”
The first time he hits her, it’s a punch in the face. He doesn't even start off with a slap or something. He'd never hit her before and the first time he does, it's a closed fist. She isn't expecting it to happen. The reason he claims he did it afterward is that she'd overcooked his pork chop. They finish eating and as she collected his plate she askes him how it was. He says it was chewy and then out of nowhere he punches her in the eye.
After he discovers he can get away with something like that, it starts happening all the time…
He throws her against a wall for forgetting to charge his phone for him. She'd forgotten somewhere that she was responsible for every small thing when it came to keeping the household running–even things that she'd never been asked to do. Things as small as putting his phone on the charger for him so he wouldn't have to do it himself.
He didn't want a girlfriend or a partner…he wanted a slave.
If he was leaving for work and she couldn't tell him where his keys were, he'd choke her so roughly and long that her vision would go white–then black–only to stop moments before she was about to pass out.
She’d forget who she was dealing with and speak out of turn and he'd take her by a fist-full of hair and drag her into their guest room where he'd installed a padlock she hadn't noticed before. He'd lock her inside and leave her there for a full day–sometimes two–without anything to eat or drink.
He'd tell her how lucky she was to be so well kept.
He'd tell her that the first time she ever tried to leave him would be the last time she tried that because dead women can't leave anyone–ever.
The awful stories pour out of her. Sometimes slowly like the tears that well in the corner of her eyes, growing like drops at the tip of a leaky tap until big enough to fall… Sometimes in a deluge of rolling sobs as a powerful wave like a wall of water from a burst dam. I don't interrupt her. I don't know what to say so I only listen. I know my sister. She doesn't want me to say anything because nothing I could say would take away the pain of any of this for her.
Eventually the emotions and stories are all spent and she grows silent. When she speaks again, it's to change the subject.
“What’s that out there?” She asks, pointing out at a spot in the water. The sun has nearly set and the only thing we can see is a great dark space on the horizon. The place where I live is old and still has a working lighthouse; it’s more for nostalgia than anything else now. As if on queue, the light sweeps across the darkness revealing a large, not so distant island that mostly exists as an outcropping of rocks.
“The locals call it Mermaid’s Roost,” I tell her, “lots of the old-timers, the superstitious ones, say that’s where the sirens live.”
She smiles at that. I realize it’s the first time I’ve seen her smile all day and it’s an incredible feeling. It’s too soon to call it healing but it’s the beginning of something like it and I can feel it radiating from her. It feels warm. She lifts her phone and opens the camera.
“It’s gonna be my first picture in my new phone,” she says, “I was waiting for something beautiful. I wanted the first one I took to be something beautiful.”
“The Roost is why they put the old lighthouse here in the first place. Supposedly there’s dozens of old ships that sank out there,” I tell her.
“They heard the sirens singing and rammed their ships against the rocks to be closer to them.” Lily says, “The legend is that they’re still out there and you can still hear them if they want you to. If they want you to come out to them…when men hear them from the water it’s because they want to smash the ships. When they hear them from the shore it’s always a trick; a call to swim out to them. Most don’t make it. There's an awful undertow. They drown. If they do make it that far, the sirens just kill them and eat them. They’re not actually mermaids at all but birds with the heads of women. Weird right? They’re from Greek mythology, you know. Surprising anyone believes anything like that out here.”
“That’s right,” I say, struggling to hide my surprise, “but how do you know all that? You just got here.”
“There’s a book about it at the house,” she explains, “I didn't just get here. I’ve been here for about three days. I’ve read the whole thing twice. Didn’t realize it was a local thing. That explains two things…why it was in the house to begin with, but also why it wasn’t written very well. I thought it’s probably self-published or a vanity press sort of thing,” She shrugs and says, “I didn’t realize why it was at the house until now. I like it anyway. It’s just about the only thing there is to read in there.”
I’m flabbergasted, “Three days? You got here and waited three days to text me?” I heard the rest of what she said but that’s the only thing that registers.
“I was scared,” she says, “scared to tell you about any of this stuff.”
“I get it. I’m not mad or anything but Jesus, Lily, you’ve been this close for three days? I’ve been worried sick about you for over a week!”
“I know,” she whispers and grabs my hand, “I’m sorry.”
“We should probably get back before it gets too dark,” I say.
“Stay with me tonight? Say you will? Call Jasmine and tell her you’ll be home in the morning?”
I say I will and that we need to start to head back to her place. We’ve walked about a mile so it will take us a while to get back and this isn’t the kind of beach that’s made of gentle slopes of endless sand. There’s sand of course, but it’s also full of rocks to trip and bust your head open on in the dark.
When we’re halfway there and the sky is a deep, dark purple, like the color of wine when it's still in the bottle, she stops and looks back at Mermaid’s Roost. The shadow of it still looms on the dark violet horizon, like a giant sleeping in the sparkling black blanket of water. Her eyes grow wide and seem to fill with tiny golden diamonds, like flecks of light reflected by the stars. Her face glows with an uncharacteristically innocent wonder.
“Emily,” she whispers, “do you hear them too?”
And I think she’s fucking with me so I say “sure” and tell her to hurry up because I’m starving and I want to order us a pizza and call my wife to let her know I'll be staying with her in her bungalow. Also that my feet hurt. The truth is that I can barely hear her when she asks the question in the first place.
“It’s beautiful,” she says quietly and I agree because I think she’s talking about the town or the beach or the moon or the stars or anything else–anything real–and not some local legend that she can hear over the sound of the waves and wind that I can’t.
When we get back to the little beach house, she pauses in the doorway and stares for a long time back at the island of rocks. It’s distant, but big enough to still see, if only just barely when the light from the lighthouse sweeps across it in the dark.
_____________________________
The house is awash with the chill and the sounds of the sea wind when I wake up. We went to the master bedroom around 11:00pm to watch a movie. The plan was for us to stay in the same bed like we used to do sometimes when we were little girls. The house has a guest room and I could have slept in there, but Lily begged me to stay with her, so I did and the truth is that I wanted to.
It’s 3:00am and the cold is what’s roused me from sleep but it’s panic that pulls me fully awake now. She’s not here with me. I know she’s not in the house. I know this the same way that I know she turned the TV off when she left. She did this so a loud commercial didn’t wake me. I know this because it’s what I would have done if I was trying to sneak away and I didn’t want her to stop me. I know all of this the same way I knew she was in trouble but I didn’t know how or why over a week ago. Twintuition.
I’ve never had a feeling like this one before. It’s strong and clear but also deep and dark like the water outside. I know from the moment I wake up that I won’t see her alive again, but I search the entire house for her anyway. I go from room to room checking every closet, beneath both the beds and even behind the shower curtain in the bathroom. When I get to the living room I see the reason the house is so cold; she didn’t shut the door behind her when she left.
“The Legend of Mermaid’s Roost” is laying open on the counter and she’s used seashells to hold the pages open to where she’s circled a passage in black marker.
“When men hear the sirens singing, it is always without a doubt an attempt at temptation. Their beautiful and deadly song is said to be a lure calling sailors ever closer to the rocks of Mermaid’s Roost to smash their ships along the stoney shore, but the sirens don’t stop there. Their singing has not only been heard by men at sea, but by those who walk along the shores after dark. They call out to the men on the mainland trying to convince them to swim out to the Roost; a distance just over half a mile. According to the legends, most of those that attempted to swim the distance to the island would get caught in the undertow and drown. If they managed to make it the entire way, the sirens of Mermaid’s Roost would rip them apart with their talons and eat them alive while they screamed for a mercy that would never come. Death is always the fate of men who hear the song.”
“According to the myths, women almost never hear their enchanting calls from across the bay, but for those that do the call is never a deadly temptation, but rather an invitation to join them. To sing with them and lure men to their untimely ends. Those women that do hear them may choose to join their deadly flock if they wish to do so. According to the local histories this is rare and the women that choose to join them are never seen nor heard from again.”
At the bottom of the page, a note in her handwriting simply reads: “Figured out where I’m supposed to be. Thanks for today. I love you always.”
I rush outside knowing there’s no reason to hurry because I’m already too late. She’s already made her choice and I don’t need my twintuition to tell me that because I can hear her.
She’s singing…Mermaid’s Roost is over a mile away and I know it’s her voice because it sounds so much like my own. It’s quiet from this distance but the preternatural nature of her chorus spans the space between us with ease and clarity…but this song is not my invitation to join her…
It’s her last request.
When I offered to pay for a lawyer so she could make him pay for putting his hands on her, she was afraid she wouldn’t win but that fear is gone now. She’s found a whole flock that’ll be willing–that lives for the sole purpose of picking better men than him apart, and they will, as they’ve done to so many before him…that is if he even survives the swim.
He’s too far from here to hear her song but he’s not too far for me. I don’t know exactly how to reach you, Eric Warminster, but I know where you live and there can’t be more than one man with that name where you are. In the morning I’ll make a few calls until I find you and when I do, I’m pretty sure that Lily was right when she said you’d try to kill her if she ever left. I'm banking on her fear that you'd follow her to the end of the Earth. I’m also pretty sure you won’t know the difference between her voice and mine, especially not over the phone…our own mother can’t most of the time. I don’t even have to face you and I already know what I’ll say to get you out here too. I’ll taunt you and belittle you just like you did to her. I'll be laughing the entire time. You’ll come. It should be easy enough…our laughs sound the same…
…All I have to do is tell you to meet me at the beach after dark. I know by the sound of the song she's singing that she's changed so much already. I wonder if the transformation was instantaneous or if it takes time for her feathers to grow in and fully form. I wonder if that even matters. I wonder if she must complete her change before she can do what she means to do to you and something about her tone tells me, no. She's ready for you now. The words of her melody aren't in English anymore, but in a vernacular that up until now, I would have believed impossible. The sweet song seems to originate from a great creature both mythical and feminine and beautifully deadly. Birdlike, the calls drift out from the newly-formed and massive beak. I see her face has shifted and grown it already with my mind’s eye. The sound reaches out over the water for only me to hear. Lily sings in a language so musical and ancient now that the words themselves have long been forgotten. Yet, despite their foreign nature, I don't have to understand the tongue to understand the meaning of her song. The sound of the music of Mermaid’s Roost fills my mind. Entering my ears, it surges though my head before seeming to flow and tread before my eyes. I can see what she wants me to do in images that hover barely visible like an ethereal painting before me. She wants me to get you to this beach and I will. That’s her last request–her only request. Get you to the shore and she’ll take care of the rest.

2024.05.11 18:13 kingnatsi I have a relentless stalker. And his justification, he thinks he’s the stalking victim.

Without saying too much and to protect peoples identities I’m going to keep this very general:
There is an artist in the Brooklyn and Connecticut area that has been stalking me. He is a horrible person and this started because I called him out for his bad behavior.
This is a privileged white man from a wealthy family. He’s in his late 30s and has a history of sexually harassing women of color and any man that stands up for them.
In this case the stalker lived in apts for artist. The intention was to provide affordable housing for artist (no idea how he qualified considering his rich parents). He constantly harassed black women that lived in the same artist apts, sent inappropriate texts, and used the N word. He made women uncomfortable in their own living space.
One of the men (a black man) that lived there confronted the stalker about this and the stalker proceeded to wipe his own fecal matter on the black man’s door which was captured on a ring door bell video. All of this is documented in texts messages, newspaper articles, and a court issued eviction notice. I know this happened in a small town in CT.
After hearing about this, I shared his actions and his behaviors with mutual friends. Not to gossip but just as a warning to be careful around this person. He is dangerous and has a history of being sexually inappropriate with women. Of course, people started sharing their own personal experiences with him, I even heard of an incident where he head butted an elderly man, assault basically.
Anyway, I see this person is now an artist in the brooklyn area. I was in the area (the art community is quite small) and he tries to sell me on some of his art and literature and I decline. I then, tell him that he is not welcome in the art community here because he is dangerous and I also tell him his art looks stupid.
I don’t know why I did this, perhaps I should’ve minded my own business but I felt protective of the other artist that live in this community and I just felt the urge to tell him that his past behavior will not be tolerated here.
After this incident, he has been harassing and stalking me, as at this point it there are Facebook groups, Reddit groups, discord, and Nextdoor groups dedicated to just warning people about this artist. I don’t think the intention is to dox or harass him, it’s just a way to warn people that he is dangerous. A lot of post consists of people sharing inappropriate text screenshots or his court hearings for other assaults and arrests.
Various people that have confronted this man have came forward claiming he has contacted their jobs in an attempt to get them fired. He has contact police claiming that he’s being harassed, citing the aforementioned social media groups as harassment, and has even gone as far as calling their family members and harassing them too.
Unfortunately these are all people of color who aren’t too comfortable talking to police for obvious reasons but many of them have been cooperative with the police when called by my stalker. Some of the fake accusations the stalker has made include I am harassing him, he accused me of child pornography!!!!!! with no actual proof, per the stalker, photos of his nieces and nephews were shared which I’m unaware about. But police say they found no such evidence and contacted the parents of his niece and nephew and they have claimed it is untrue!! and other horrendous crimes, he told police I was responsible for some website that encourages people of self harm. Often times police just close the cases, because there is no proof and not like there will be because none of this is true. This has been going on since 2022.
So fast forward to today, the stalker is still harassing people and trying to tarnish their reputation. Says he has proof that he is the stalking victim and that me and others are perpetrators.
But it’s like I have all the proof in the form of screen shots of text messages, public records requests, court documents that he’s the stalker. When he is asked for proof of being a victim of stalking, he has a list of IP addresses which he baited people into clicking by posting it in one of Reddit groups where people within the art community bring awareness about this dangerous man. So of course people clicked it, including me. So he claims these are all the people that are gang staking him. He post on pages like these talking about how he is a victim of stalking to get the attention he so desperately seeks to validate his stalking claims and play the victim.
Why am I posting this? maybe as a way to vent. But I think my motivation to write this is to let him know that I am not going to let him get away with this. His wealth and whiteness is what has been keeping him safe from any kind of jail time despite being arrested numerous times. But it’s not going to keep him safe from people spreading the truth about him in order to keep others safe from him.

"Deadcoast Book 1: Heat and the Grizzly Reds" transports readers to a 2063 Earth, a world on the brink, where the scarcity of fresh water has led to previously unseen geopolitical tensions. Amidst this backdrop, the nation-backed militant group DAGGR has emerged as a formidable force, leveraging advanced technology to assert control over Canada’s abundant water resources. At the heart of their arsenal is 'slugTech,' a technology pioneered by James Broadshaw, intended for ecological restoration but repurposed for militaristic dominance.
The story unfolds with the chilling invasion of Vancouver, marking a turning point as DAGGR makes its ambitions clear, culminating in the assassination of the Canadian Prime Minister. This act of aggression leaves the country reeling, exposing vulnerabilities and igniting a global reaction.
The UNE-EYE satellite is central to the international response, a significant narrative element representing the world's most advanced orbital tracking system. Once decommissioned in favour of privacy, the Dutch reactivated the satellite as a strategic move to monitor DAGGR's movements and coordinate a unified international effort against the aggressors. This revival of UNE-EYE symbolizes a crucial turning point, highlighting the global stakes and the interconnectedness of nations in the face of a common enemy.
As Canada grapples with its plight, the DAMU (Deserted American Military Units) rise in solidarity, breaching borders to fight alongside their Canadian counterparts. This act of defiance is mirrored by international forces, including the Netherlands and Ukraine, each bringing their unique strengths to the coalition, underscored by the strategic oversight provided by the UNE-EYE satellite.
Amidst the geopolitical chaos, a man who had all but given up, a boxer on the ropes, emerges from Vancouver's Gastown. Known as HEAT, this leader of the Grizzly Reds becomes a symbol of resistance and hope. HEAT's story, and that of the Grizzly Reds, is one of resilience, rallying not only Canadians but also global citizens to stand against DAGGR's tyranny.
" Deadcoast Book 1: Heat and the Grizzly Reds" is a compelling narrative of survival, alliance, and resistance. It deftly weaves together elements of advanced technology, international politics, and the indomitable human spirit. The inclusion of the UNE-EYE satellite serves as a testament to the complexities of modern warfare and the critical role of global surveillance and coordination in maintaining security and freedom. But something else stirs amongst it. The UNE still shrouds its use, albeit assuring it is for record-keeping purposes- there is no way to be sure. Join HEAT and the Grizzly Reds as they navigate the challenges of Time, War, Science and liberating their fellow man in Vancouver. THE GRIZZLIES NEED YOU, in this action-packed, emotional saga, speaks to the resilience and camaraderie inherent in the human condition.
CHAPTER 1 - The Blood Spattered Maples
ILLUSTRATED VERSION -> HERE <-
The early morning sun cast a serene glow over Vancouver, its golden rays gently coaxing the city from its slumber. The harbour lay still, bathed in a tranquil blend of crimson and amber, defiantly calm as if aware of the day's latent potential for tumult. The awakening streets, pulsating with the vibrant beat of daily enterprise, transformed into bustling arteries of life.
Amidst this urban renaissance, Ryan stood by his apartment window, one eye still tinged a fading shade of deep lavender from last night's ordeals. He absorbed the duality of the world outside – a peaceful façade masking an undercurrent of chaos, much like his own existence. The apartment, a silent guardian of his life's chapters, was awash with tangible memories; some stood proudly like trophies, and others lingered like indelible scars.
"Eugh, need to sort out this money mess," Ryan muttered, his voice a gravelly mix of resolve and weariness. He gingerly touched the bruise beneath his eye, a stark reminder of the previous night's fight. He wasn't just a boxer but a living, breathing paradox. His undefeated record of 12-0 was more than a tally of victories; it was a map of a life spent dancing in and out of shadows. At 17, he was a beacon of hope for Canadian Olympic Futures. Now, at 33, he was a spotlight in his subconscious, illuminating the relentless passage of time and a road riddled with 'what ifs.' Eleven of those wins were echoes from a past steeped in the sweat and blood of the ring before life's currents swept him into the city's gritty underbelly. There, he became an enforcer, not out of choice but a necessity, bound by ties, not of blood but of unbreakable bonds forged in adversity. Stepping back into the ring at 33, Ryan wasn't chasing glory; he was hunting redemption, a chance to rewrite a narrative that had veered off course.
Today's boxing was far from what he once knew; it had transformed into a digital spectacle, a charade he refused to partake in. The sport now paraded fighters adorned with loud chains and face tattoos, pretending to live a life of crime they don't. Vile symbols of fame he doesn't wish for. Ryan had always skirted the fringes of the spotlight, respecting the sport but despising what it had become - a glorified masquerade that he believed led the youth astray. He stared out at the awakening city, contemplating his place in this ever-changing world, just as the first notes of a familiar yet unwelcome voice crackled from the vintage radio on his shelf.
"Ah, jimmy2piece," he scoffed, the name leaving a bitter taste. The vintage radio crackled on, announcing the dazzling exploits of the heavyweight boxing champion, an embodiment of everything Ryan detested about the sport's current state. Ryan's hand lingered over the old radio, a relic amidst the bountiful thrift and trinket that abundantly filled his apartment. The announcer's voice, overly flamboyant in its praise of 'jimmy2piece,' clashed with the morning's tranquillity, grating against Ryan's every nerve. With a flick brimming with contempt, he silenced the intrusive chatter. The ensuing silence was a stark reminder of his path's divergence from the once-noble art of boxing to a life mired in moral ambiguity.
"Enough of this nonsense," he muttered, the disdain in his voice mirroring the snarl on his lips as he spun the dial back to silence.
*Click*
Ryan was a man of contemplation; opening his balcony door, he let the morning breeze mingle with the memories that haunted him daily. These reflections were a tormenting ritual, no matter the joys and love surrounding him. His only respite was constant movement – hobbies, work, art – anything to fend off the sharp claws of the past that threatened to shred the remnants of his self-respect. He had lost ten years to choices and actions that replayed in his mind relentlessly every single day.
"This 'jimmy2shoes' or whatever...pal throws pillows, a poser pretending he's about that gang life; I can see it in his eyes, he's not a killer," he grumbled, gazing out at the awakening city. This day promised a respite from his underground fights – at least for a while. His recent backstreet brawls, a far cry from the glory of the boxing ring, were what paid the bills now. "At least I've bought myself three more months..."
Leaning on the railing of his miniature balcony, Ryan cradled a cup of steaming coffee, his gaze drifting over the streets below. At this moment, the chaos of his life seemed distant, replaced by a transient calm. Despite his bruised, rough presentation, a certain peace enveloped him, a rare stillness that belied the storm of his existence. His thoughts meandered through the serene hum of the city and the gentle brush of the ocean breeze. The skyscape, with clouds dancing to the ocean's rhythm, offered a brief escape from his turbulent past.
Memories of Robin, his mentor and friend, floated into his consciousness. Robin's untimely death in Dubai was a wound that never healed. The sacrifices he had made to keep Robin safe, only to be absent on the fateful trip that claimed his friend's life, weighed heavily on him. "Why did it have to be you, Robin?" he whispered to the horizon, the question, a haunting torment upon his daily routines.
Ryan was a thinker; as he slid over his ashtray from the stool, he sparked up A morning 'dart' (cigarette), as he called them. His past began to creep into his head, as it did every morning. With each inhalation of addiction-soothing nicotine, his blazing thoughts followed as his brain began to become fully active from his sleep. It was a raven on his shoulder tormenting him, pecking at him ever haunting his consciousness. No matter the love he may have found or the happiness, friends, or family surrounding him. The time to reflect was always grim and consistently unbearable. If he stood still, the Ravel's claws sunk more profoundly; the only reprieve was constant distractions. It's why he kept so busy, creative, and active. Ryan constantly kept moving with hobbies, work, or art. Pushing off the switchblade thoughts ready to cut into his subconscious and bleed out whatever self-respect he had left that day. He threw away ten years of his life, and he relives them every. Single. Day.
"Damn man, what's the point of it all?" Ryan's voice was barely a whisper, lost in the morning breeze. His gaze lingered on the horizon, eyes clouded with confusion and pain. "Robin's gone, and here I am, a ship adrift; up shits creek without a paddle. What good can I do? What purpose do I serve? My skillset? My knowledge? Ive wasted my life, nothing is applicable." The questions hung in the air, unanswered. Ryan's life had indeed been a storm of violence and turmoil, from the gritty days working alongside Robin, watching his back to his hard-fought victories in the boxing ring. He had dreamt of leaving the world of fights behind, yet fate seemed to have woven a different path for him, one that he couldn't escape...
The distant sound of boat horns broke his train of thought. These weren't the usual rhythmic calls that echoed along Vancouver's shores; they carried a sense of urgency, growing louder and more frantic by the second. Ryan leaned forward, squinting into the morning light. The sight that greeted him was anything but ordinary. Dark, ominous and foreboding shapes were cutting through the waters toward the Seawall – military-grade ships that seemed like phantoms against the sun's bright backdrop.
"What the...?" Ryan murmured, a wry smile touching his lips as he recalled a line from a 1930s radio show. "Ah yes, the 'Anti-Frackers' upping their game, bravo!" He often found solace in humour, a shield against the world's harsh realities. Ryan was an unbreakable anvil to the world, always struck to sharpen others' steel. But what about his iron resolve? He bore the burdens so others didn't have to, a silent guardian shouldering the world's weight in stoic silence. Yet beneath that armour of stoicism beat the heart of a man grappling with his vulnerabilities, a man with a core as soft as it was intense.
Just like that- The world as we knew it, changed forever.
The morning's peace shattered abruptly as sirens wailed into life, slicing through the air with a sense of impending doom. The tranquil dawn was now a backdrop to a nightmare unfolding in real time. Ryan's eyes, mirroring the turbulent hues of a stormy sea, narrowed in primal alertness. These were not friendly vessels coming to grace the city's harbour; they were harbingers of chaos, their arrival a silent scream in the gardens of Vancouver's tranquility. As the city around him carried on, blissfully unaware of the looming threat, Ryan's mind shifted into high gear, honed by years of confrontation, conflict and reading other peoples intentions. He understood the unspoken language of death, the subtle shift in the air that preluded catastrophe. The serene calm that had greeted the day now seemed like the deceptive stillness before a devastating storm.
PFFFFT~~
Ryan's coffee ejected out his mouth, a clean mist dispersed, dancing in the ocean winds.
His eyes widened in shock. "That... No, that's not right. That honeycomb structure on the bow – that's rumoured military tech, not something you'd find on a civilian vessel. That's definitely not one of our decommissioned ships; Canada has always had a modest military budget- It's not the U.S. either; they've moved on to those massive city carriers," he muttered, recalling the recent unveiling of the U.S.'s latest naval behemoth designed to be a self-sustaining war ecosystem.
"These are destroyers...carriers...and what in the world are those landing crafts?" His voice trailed off as a wave of realization washed over him. A heavy breath escaped his lips, his heartbeat thundering in unison with a growing sense of dread. This kind of military might, sleek and menacing, was straight out of the pages of a dystopian novel. Ryan's pulse quickened, adrenaline coursing through his veins, mingling with an unsettling fear. Vancouver, with its serene beauty and peaceful reputation, was the last place one would expect a military invasion. Yet, as he stood there, the city around him persevered in blissful ignorance. Laughter and the sounds of daily life echoed up to his balcony, starkly juxtaposed against the darkening horizon of his thoughts.
Something sinister was unfolding, and he felt an urgent need to act. "Ah, damn it!" he exclaimed, frustration boiling over as he hurled his mug to the ground, where it shattered into razer sharp ceramic shards—a glimpse of futures past.
The walls of Ryan's apartment, once a gallery of memories from a life half-lived, now felt like they were closing in on him. The space that had been his refuge, adorned with mementos of a tumultuous past, suddenly felt like a prison. He felt trapped, not by physical barriers, but by the weight of the unfolding crisis. Who could he call? Who would believe him about an impending military assault? Was there even time?
Each option seemed as hopeless as the next, leaving him feeling powerless. His fists, which had once brought him victory in the ring, now seemed futile in the face of this immense and unknown threat.
BOOM
A thunderous crash tore through the city's fabric, piercing the veil of laughter and routine. Giggles changed to Shrieks, the buzzing of cars in the city turned screeching of panicked tires. It was a boom resonating with such force that it seemed to shake the very resolve of the most robust steel, a sound that demands attention and captivates a person, a sound of death; it rattles you to the bone. This explosion marked a pivotal moment that would forever alter the course of Vancouver's history and, indeed, the world's.
The resounding echo of the first explosion heralded a declaration of war on all that was ordinary. In Ryan, the shockwave ignited a transformation. Despair morphed into an unyielding determination, a fire kindled deep within. His skin prickled, each hair standing on end as if his nerves were braille, spelling out the moment's urgency.
"Are they firing at us?" Ryan's voice was a mix of disbelief and rising panic. The thought seemed almost too surreal to entertain. He hesitated momentarily, grappling with the reality of the situation. The explosion's roar, so fierce it shook the foundations of his apartment, jolted him back to the present. Racing back to his balcony, what he saw confirmed his darkest fears.
The ships in the harbour were no longer silent, ominous spectators; they had unleashed their fury, sending plumes of smoke and debris skyward. Vancouver's skyline, once a proud testament to peace and progress, now served as a harrowing backdrop to an unfolding apocalypse. Below, the streets descended into chaos. People scattered in a frantic attempt to escape, their screams piercing the air, a chorus of dawning terror.
Ryan's heart pounded against his chest, each beat a call to action. He was no hero, never the 'good guy' in his story, but he did value life above all. Standing there, witnessing his city being torn apart, he knew he couldn't remain a passive observer. Indecision and shock gave way to resolve.
"MOTHA FU-" he cursed, his words lost in the burst of an explosion, spotted at the last second.
The world around him had erupted into a maelstrom of fire and fury.
An air burst shell detonated with ferocious intensity a mere 50 meters from Ryan's sanctuary. The explosion ripped through the building, an unforgiving hatred that jolted reality itself. The blast wave, a monstrous force of destruction, assaulted his apartment, shattering the windows with an ease that mocked Vancouver's fragility. Glass shards, transformed into lethal projectiles, hurtled through the air with a hunter's precision, each piece seeking its target. Instinctively, Ryan lunged for cover, his only protection a vintage oak promotional board, a relic of a bygone era. This wooden guardian, decorated with the iconic image of Stan Lee, stood as a stoic defender, a symbol of comic heroism now repurposed to shield flesh and blood from the brutal onslaught.
A low hum erupts from the depths of his being as the fireball swirled around him. "Breathe... I can't... don't fall asleep... don't...sleep..." he whispered, fighting the encroaching darkness. His cobalt eyes, glazing over open, fighting to the last light, flickered between consciousness and oblivion. The distant, muffled voices of mentors past echoed in his mind, a fading chorus in the theatre of his memories. Ryan looked to his left, cast one last lingering look at the Vancouver sky, a canvas of blue that seemed so distant now. As his vision began to narrow, a tunnel drawing him away from the light, Ryan felt the grip of darkness pulling him under heavy, yet weightless. Once so vivid and alive, the world around him was fading into shadows.
Amid shrapnel-induced unconsciousness, Ryan's mind catapulted him back to a pivotal moment from his youth – the Ontario Canadian Olympic Trials.
The stadium's noise swirled around him, but it was an entirely different world within the ring. There, it was just Ryan and his opponent, every move a testament to the sacrifices he and Robin(Ryan's longtime mentor both inside, and outside the ring) had made together.
Ryan's style in the ring was unique, a blend of calculated ferocity in speed and agility. He adopted the elusive, angular movements that Robin had honed while serving alongside the hardened Ukrainians on the frontlines of Kyiv. This style was compelling and unpredictable, frustrating his opponents with swift and efficient strikes. Ryan's ability to slip away from counters, almost serpentine in its execution, left them grasping at straws.
Point fighting for the Olympics was a system that worked well with Ryan's style but not necessarily with his mindset. Ryan was a fighter at heart, and sometimes, when pushed, the disciplined techniques would give way to a rawer form of combat. Robin, who always believed in Ryan's potential, saw this as his greatest fault and biggest asset to "push past." In his gruff but encouraging voice, Robin would often spew "The stink in that mind, You've got a head on you that'd make an onion cry," highlighting Ryan's occasionally impulsive nature, and inability to control his emotions when it mattered. This characteristic made Ryan fearless in the ring but also sloppy, open, and vulnerable. It often led him into trouble outside of the solace in prizefighting.
In these trials, Ryan's physical attributes – his slender frame, broad shoulders, wide back and a peculiarly long wingspan that gave him an imposing presence in his weight class – it made him stand out. His frame synchronized with his style, creating a truly unique spectacle of genetic gifts, hard work, and skill.
These memories blended nostalgia and pain as they flickered through Ryan's mind. They were reminders of a path once trodden, a journey shaped by the influence of a mentor and the determination of a fighter's spirit.
As the Olympic Trials set to begin, Robin looked to Ryan to instill confidence for his upcoming bouts, but Ryan was in his element. It was fight day, the fun day, the day to show off all of the hard work. Ryan had confidence, and his style in the ring displayed it in full. He moved with an angular rhythm that was both art and battle – slipping, landing a quick stiff counter cross, then gracefully stepping out of reach inches from returning fire. He made it look fun and easy, as if playing with his prey before fangs clench throat, delivering the killing bite. Looking closer, you can only see fire and determination in his bright eyes. He found purpose in the beautiful science of boxing. His strategy was that of a technical boxer, The Counterpuncher; 1. To bait his opponent into committing, then counter, fight long, fight smart. 2. Beat em' up, Frustrate em', then start slinging the heat in the uppercuts and lead hooks.
The bell rang and the fight was officially underway. Ryan controlled the ring with his long frame. Each exchange was rapid yet controlled, a dance of precise strikes and evasive maneuvers. The world's complexities faded in these moments, leaving only Ryan and the pure essence of the sport he loved. He felt invincible, a force of nature within the confines of the ring. To Ryan, the fight was more than a competition; it was a performance, an exhilarating escape from the mundane. It was true Purpose.
The intensity of the round reached a frustrating outburst by his opponent, who grabbed Ryan by the back of his head– 'SPLIT' called by the referee, his hand placed between them. A judge calls for a correction, catching the referee's attention only for a split second. In this second, Ryan's Opponent saw an opportunity. Lifting his head to move away, Ryan locks eyes with his Opponent, sporting a grin and delivering a sly headbutt as a parting gift. It's against the rules, but part of the game's harsh reality if gone unnoticed. Expelling energy and detesting it was a waste of fuel. It was a jolting reminder of "at all times"(protect yourself), a stark contrast to the discipline and respect Ryan upheld, starting his boxing journey in Thailand under "Muay Thai" rules, ideology of the worrior spirit and discipline. There was a sense of Honor in Lumpinee Stadium.
The outcome of these unsavoury tactics here is an advantage for the opponent. Ryan's inner pools erupt, his mind swirled with raging white waters, crashing and colliding against each other, two oceans with opposite currents meeting in his consciousness. His once technical thoughts, muscle memory mixed with fight iq burst with flames, erupting and incinerating all strategy in his path. His eyes widened, open like he'd found his primal genetic ancestry hidden deep within. The slaughter and the war of history. The bloodshed of 1000 lifetimes. He felt it all. Manic in thought. Ryan wanted to take his glove off and rip his cheeks open from the inside out--
BREAK - Ryan snaps back into it, erupting in stoic, silent, primal rage.

The fight escalated, Ryan's disciplined technique unravelled under the seething tide of his rage. The finesse and agility that once defined his footwork gave way to a heavier, more aggressive stance. His feet, usually light and swift under his commanding frame, now felt anchored to the floor, each step driven more by fury than finesse. This transformation in style played perilously into his opponent's advantage. Ryan, usually a master of stick-and-move tactics, found himself engaging in close-quarter brawls, trading his advantage for a risky gamble. His in-and-out maneuvers, once a blur of grace, turned into brutish, in-the-pocket exchanges. This was a terrain where his more muscular and compact opponent had the upper hand. A raw, primal contest of power replaced the tactical dance that Ryan excelled at. Ryan's precise strikes became wild swings, his movements predictable to his seasoned adversary. Seizing the moment, the opponent unleashed a devastating barrage of inside hooks with their compact frame. A vicious right hook, lands clean in the exchange, thrown with the grace of a milkbag, the power hooks brute force, cut through Ryan's defences. The blow landed with a bone-jarring impact, sending a shockwave through Ryan's frame. His world spun as he stumbled, his once dominant presence in the ring now faltering under the weight of his unchecked emotions.
The ground rushed up to meet him as he crashed onto the canvas, the taste of iron and the sting of defeat mingling in his mouth. The crowd's roar faded into a distant echo, a stark reminder of how quickly the tides of battle could turn. Robin's voice sliced through the ringing from the corner, resonating with a force that commanded attention.
"Get your shit together, JUMPIN JESUS RYAN! HEART OF GOLD AND HEAD OF STONE – GET UP, YOU LITTLE COWARD! YOU'RE LETTING IT WIN, AGAIN! STOP THIS ONION HEAD NONSENSE AND DANCE, BOX THIS FELLA – YOU'RE BETTER THAN THIS, ACT LIKE IT, BELIEVE IN IT!"
His words were more than just a call to action; they were a lifeline thrown into the stormy seas of Ryan's mind. Each syllable was drenched in the raw, unfiltered wisdom that only a life spent in the cauldron of combat could forge. Robin's tone was a volatile cocktail of fury and concern, the urgency palpable in his voice. His palms crashed against the ring mat; each hit thunderous punctuation to his fiery sermon.
"You've got the talent, kid, but it's as good as ash if you keep burning it to the ground. I'M HERE FOR YOU, IM RIGHT HERE. SNAP OUT OF IT AND BOX THIS PLASTIC PATTY! MOVE GOD DAMNIT, GET UP!"
On the canvas, Ryan lay dazed, the echo of Robin's voice ringing in his ears. It was more than a mere pep talk; it was a wake-up call that struck a chord deep within him. Amidst the haze of the crowd murmurs and the pulsating pain that coursed through his body, clarity began to emerge. Lying there, Ryan grasped the essence of Robin's message –
"coward? letting it win? Playing my ego are ya Robin...hes right though. Im throwing this shit away."
This moment, sprawled on the canvas under the glaring lights and the crowd's gaze, became a crucible of transformation. The raw emotion and the hard-hitting truth in Robin's words ignited a spark in Ryan. It was time to rise, shake off the shadows of rage, and embrace a fighter's true spirit like he had learned in Thailand – not just with fists but with heart and mind in unison.
Staggered yet stirred by the dual impact of the physical hit and Robin's piercing words, A padded fist crushed into the rings canvas, followed by a kneee and the eruption of the crowd. Ryan was back, and he began to pull himself up from the canvas. His resolve, momentarily dimmed, now reignited with a fierce, clear, calculated intensity. Memories of the gruelling hours spent in the gym flooded back to him – the relentless sparring sessions, the time spent in Thailand, the sweat and toil, and the invaluable lessons etched into his being under Robin's stern tutelage.
With a renewed spirit, Ryan stepped back into the battle, his movements now embodying controlled power and a fluidity to his step. He recalled his time fighting beside the backdrop of the "Sarama" a traditional Thai music played when in combat. The times of learning to move, fight with the music, to flow, to be fluid, to be concise. Ryan finally put it all together in the heat of battle. He had merged his inherent ferocity with the disciplined technique that Robin relentlessly drilled into him, and the mindfull practises of the years he spent under Burklerk Pinsinchai in the jungles of Chiang Mai. His style was now fully displayed, raw and visceral yet refined by countless hours of practice in mind, body and spirit.
The final rounds bell clang to a start in a clinic of skill and sheer willpower. Ryan, driven by a blend of desperation and unwavering determination, unleashed a barrage of calculated and explosive strikes. Each punch and maneuver was a nod to the efficient, no-nonsense Ukrainian style that Robin had imparted to him. Ryan moved rhythmically across the mat, steps measured and precise, executing short, angular movements and deft outside counterpunches. He had returned to his element – the dance of combat, where he felt most alive, a symphony of movement where every step and punch was a testament to his life's journey and experiences as a human being first, and as a fighter second.
In this wake-up call, Ryan reinvigorated and reminded himself of his love for the sport, the exhilarating blend of art and athleticism. He was not just fighting to win; he was celebrating boxing, combat, honouring the path he had walked with Robin, and reclaiming what it meant to be a true fighter through Burklurk Pinsinchai's Teachings.
The round pressed on, and Ryan executed his maneuvers with a surgeon's precision. First;
-- The counterpuncher; a display in timing and accuracy, delivered with the full force of training and innate skill. --
  1. He deftly slipped his opponent's cross, a move as fluid as it was swift.
  2. He angled off, creating a space wide enough for his next move.
  3. With an almost predatory precision, Ryan unleashed a powerful right cross, targeting his opponent's cheek from the angle he had just created. But Ryan wasn't done yet.
  4. He slipped out again, evading any potential counter from his disoriented opponent. The rhythm, he danced in and out with his precise timing, perfected down to inches and angles.
  5. In a final, decisive movement of the exchange, Ryan slipped in. He timed his step with a long cross that came off-beat, catching his opponent utterly off-guard. The punch landed with a satisfying impact, culminating in a perfectly executed combination. As he watched his opponent stagger, Ryan couldn't help but think, 'cya sleepy boi,' a silent acknowledgment of his dominance in this singular exchange.
This sequence was a statement. Ryan was not only back in the fight but also commanding it.
ONE!…TWO!…THREE!…FOUR!…FIVE!…SIX!...SEVEN!..EIGHT!
Ryan's opponent stands, admirable, but futile, driven by sheer will but hampered by sluggish movements, the man rose to his feet, it was clear the fight was reaching its zenith.
The opponent, gathering his remaining strength for a final stand, launched a jab, a last-ditch effort relying more on brute force than finesse. But this was a fatal mistake in Ryan's world – playing right into what Ryan was best at. Counters.
Ryan read the move with the clarity of a seasoned fighter. As the jab came, he effortlessly slipped to the right, evading the punch with a short angular step that spoke of his ring intelligence. Instantly, he countered with the same sharp cross from his right hand, followed by a devastating hook that cut through the air with lethal intent in his left. Grasping at straws, reeling from the counter, Ryans opponent threw a desperate, looping last stand punch, Ryan dipped down and left, rolling the punch with an elegance that made it seem almost effortless. He was Hunting for the Kill Shot. Seizing the moment, Ryan unleashed a ferocious left uppercut, the force of the blow lifting his opponent's chin skyward. He followed up with a right overhand, but just before impact, he halted the punch. There was no need for it; his opponent was already collapsing, the "Lights were on, but no one was Home". The fight was effectively over, Ryan's last combination is the final note, a crescendo that echoed through the ring.
As his opponent hit the canvas, the crowd erupted. Ryan stood in the center of the ring, his chest heaving, every fibre of his being alight with the thrill of victory. This wasn't just a win; it was a performance, a display of skill, heart, and the indomitable spirit of a fighter who had walked through fire and flames to the otherside and emerge victorious.
The final bell Rings with not a single chair in the arena warm; a thunderous clap erupts from the crowd. It was more than just applause; it was an acknowledgment of a battle fiercely fought by both men. In that moment ringside, in a triumphant victory, Ryan and Robin shared a look that spoke volumes, a connection far beyond the usual bounds of mentor and protégé. Their bond, tempered in the crucible of hardship and struggle, was now sealed in the glory of this defining triumph.
Standing amidst the cheers and the adrenaline-fueled euphoria, Ryan found himself momentarily lost in the tide of memories. It was a poignant reminder of the journey that had brought him here, a path marked by triumphs and losses. Robin's teachings transcended the confines of boxing; they were life lessons imprinted deep onto him. Ryan began to slowly step out of the ring; the weight of these reflections settled upon him. The victory was sweet, but it carried the weight of all sacrificed to achieve it. Robin's presence was felt strongly, a guiding force that continued to shape his path, illuminating the way forward even in the most challenging times.

I can't decide what's worse. Being happy that the rapist "has a second chance", saying the woman deserved it, or the BS statistics used to blame women for being assaulted.
For context, this was talking about the woman who fought off her attacker in the gym (you can probably find the story easily enough)

2024.05.07 14:38 Low_Bee_1592 Anti-CoS Foundation Relationships, Part 2: Conflict of Interest

Anti-CoS Foundation Relationships, Part 2: Conflict of Interest
(keep in mind, I wrote this 2 days ago before a couple of losers- Jessica Palmadessa & William Gude- went on a bully rampage. Was I off-base? Nope)
Conflict of interest & another questionable relationship
To restate the original question from the beginning "Is all exposure good exposure? Are all these mutually beneficial relationships? Or are some associations harming the foundation and the underlying cause?"
The dual-purpose of both Aftermath & SPTV Foundations is raise money/spend money, as has been stated. That's it. The money goes to help ex Scientologists, family, etc.
In that respect aren't the Foundations and Jessica Palmadessa Management Company competing interests? Are the "benefactors" from JPMC chats (the not-creepy-at-all commenters with their sexualized "observations") reallocating some of their OnlyFans credits or Amazon Wish List donations to the foundation? Is JPMC donating directly to these foundations? No, yes?
Is there a benefit from increased education on the human trafficking cult of Scientology? If "Honk if its a cult" and "Look it's Grandpatology" is the best we can expect then that's a hard no.
In my last post re: La Poubelle I suggested "Over months we're live-streamed conflict>"content">clicks/donations. Rinse and repeat. But which beast that is feeding- social justice or just base voyeurism and coins in pockets?"
We see the same thing with JPMC. Recent example, she stages outside CoS, lures Scientos to help hang a "cult" sign, bait them into conflict and then goes on a week long shopping spree off the clicks/donations from white-knighting fanboys (and old men who use her bikini pic for their profiles). Is JPMC just another La Poubelle in a Mini Cooper? Who does this serve? What is that smell?
And it may seem counter-intuitive to ask with regard to a family business with thousands of social media followers but: Is the relationship betweens JPMC and the foundations/movement actually a one-way benefit? Seems like the family business gains clout from the incredible light of Anti-Scientology shining brightly throughout social media right now. There's so much momentum there. And be real, SPTV has a f-ton more followers & visibility than this clout-chasing clown. What non-bikini-chasing adult in their right mind is brought into the fold?
Are the foundations & movement benefiting by reputation-association? Judging by the quality of conversation in the JPMC chats, should we expect this crowd to even care about helping people leave a human trafficking cult, much less take action? Spend 10 minutes in her live chat to judge. But hide your bullets first. Because loss of faith in humanity is possible and self-harm is bad. (Same with Streets' chats, btw).
In a separate post in this subReddit a commenter questioned Jessica's "side" at the UCLA protests. Well it's on full display that JPMC are genocide apologists just from experiencing the disgusting racism in their Live chats, particularly UCLA ones. But here's a couple other indicators:
In a recent evening Live stream at La Poubelle, Zach was talking with a guy wearing a keffiyeh. Guy was talking about a boycott of Starbucks in support of BDS (Boycott Divestment & Sanction of the apartheid state of Israel). Live-streaming that conversation from a 2nd phone for us to see, Jessica & Chris were trolling Zach (not uncommon) with Jessica repeatedly spewing ad hominem insults directed at the guy:
Jessica: "Just some crazy guy preaching about Palestine" "This is dangerous!" "Zach, get home now!", etc. (Same lines several times.)
Chris: "He's trying to start a fight".
None of that was true. Wasn't funny either. Why would she care so much who Zach was talking to? Why did she seem so irritated? Was it intolerance or low key racism? Rhetorical question.
She then received a text from Jo Marie, accidentally displayed for all to see:
"Do NOT comment on the zionist thing!!!!!"
\"Do NOT comment on the zionist thing!!!!!\"
Interesting warning. Jessica Palmadessa Management Company clipped those few seconds before posting the live stream (April 24 "Blue bldg chatting" at about 1:33). Was benevolent Jo Marie trying to protect the SPTV Foundation from association with potentially bigoted comments? (read that question again without smiling) Or was it to protect the family cash cow from unwisely speaking freely? Not sure if being a zionist affects OnlyFans income- probably not. But YouTube Superchats? Good question. That smell.
Meanwhile her fan boys were screwing with Zach in his chat- happens often. Zach hasn't been doing too well with people trolling him for awhile now. Jessica & Chris had Zach driving all over one night in a panic- can't remember the details. Like somebody "needed help". It wasn't really funny- or safe, especially with how he drives anyway. Zach is Zach, whatever. He doesn't deserve to be harassed for mean-girl jollies. That applies to mean-girl Chris too. Stupid and hateful is no way to go through life.
The term "Starbucks guy" will come up in her chats (anyone with a keffiyeh). Also "Bring in the Starbucks". Starbucks has become a racist dog whistle for Jessica's scummy little trolls. Some of it is subtle, sometimes its off the charts. But its constant. And it's weird how many moderators (from Streets ,ConChris, WeInLa, Zach, etc, etc) chat regularly in Jessica's streams . It's a morally and intellectually unimpressive, incestuous group. Mandatory shower post live chats.
Also on FilmThePoliceLA April 25th "UCLA Protest" stream: Streets, ConfidentChris & Richie (Will's friend) were walking off UCLA campus at the end of the night.
Richie: "Today was very very chill, like up until the zionists got there. Noone was causing any problems" (This was Friday, 3 days before the zionist mob brought their paramilitary friends & attacked both boys AND girls. Girls were punched, scratched and hijabis within reach were pulled off.)
Streets at 2:03:05: "We should have had Jessica come out here. She'd find a way to say something sarcastic".
Chris: "This is not her team though. I'll be honest with you". Both laugh. I didn't think that was very funny. Everybody out there knows what's up.
To use his word, Streets gets goofy around Jessica. Maybe she's one of the reasons- and I gotta think there are others- that he isn't more vocal with his obvious instinct to call out racist bullsh*t. I don't know, but it sucks. And it's chickensh*t hypocrisy from William. He's no longer worthy of attention, much less admiration.
Because we've never had a more opportune- and critical- time to expose the insanity of racism, bigotry, child exploitation and human indifference. That covers the cults of Scientology and zionism, along with their subsets of antisemitism & islamophobia. Its ALL indifference to humanity, EQUAL in it's sin.
Apathetic, cowardly peanut galleries and gatekeepers block the way. People attract others with similar interests- and bigotries. Luckily their lack of character is revealed in times of stress. So we see y'all. That smell from before? It's opportunism. Whether from disaster capitalists, ambulance chasers, or clout-chasing social media hustlers. It's gross.
If I was board member of any foundation with a charitable goal, or a 2ndGen content creator, I'd be hard pressed to justify a relationship with anyone surrounded by racism and hate. So y'all might want to seriously think about who's videos your pushing and the baggage they bring.
There ARE well intentioned activists-in-the-making in LA & elsewhere (Jay in Denver, what a beautiful soul)- and just good human beings. Ones capable of giving a 15 second elevator pitch on "Why Scientology needs to go". Ones worthy of helping grow their online presence and audience.
Conversely, the opportunist clowns who take advantage of a righteous cause can take their effing starbucks and go back to their cinnamon challenges, OnlyFans hustles & Beverly Hills Mall videos. Go away.
Maybe take a lesson from the kids on campus who are showing them- and all of us- what bravery and conviction are. They're humbling.

2024.05.07 09:12 Eye_half_know_glue Seeking Urgent advice. Repost since I couldn’t use the screen shots

I need some advice. I’m super worried
I’m 33F and lost my mom(48) back in 2022. She had a long list of illnesses and was in poor health. Shortly before she had passed, my dad(52)left her for a younger woman(37). Her health declined even more drastically and she had decided her life wasn’t worth fighting for anymore. 🥺 I was angry at him of course and held a grudge for a short while. I realized life is too precious and short to be wasting it on harboring resentment. That’s not to say that I gladly accepted this new woman; but I did however, tolerate her for the sake of mine and my children’s relationship with my dad. Over time she’s caused me to dislike and distrust her even more than when I first met her. Not only is she a terrible person with (NPD) but she is also super insecure. She tried to and has probably now has even succeeded in isolating him from his family and abandoning his family values he had held so dearly throughout my life. Family was everything to him and no one could get in the way of his kids and grandkids. (Especially my oldest daughter whom he outwardly expressed favoritism towards) This woman absolutely can not fathom the thought of him loving anyone else. Not his children, not his mother, not his animals. No one! She has even accused him of sleeping with my sister and me and if given the chance; would also sleep with his mother 😳 She would not allow him to call or visit any of us unless she was present. She’d deliberately interject herself into everything. Not that I wouldn’t invite her or even cared that she’d come. I did after all say that I tolerated her for my dad’s sake. If she made him happy then so be it. The issue at hand is; she did exactly what I predicted she would do based on first impressions and her behavior. She had gotten him to agree to moving in with each other to a town 3 hours away from us. She was going to make sure she had occupied every drop of his time. I understand he has a life and if that’s who he chose, then who am I to say anything. I warned him that he would probably end up unalived or jailed behind this woman. Every argument led to her putting her hands on him. Just He is nowhere near violent and would never touch her. But she has lied to the cops and said he had hit her when he broke it off with her and tried leaving. She’s vindictive, sneaky, and apparently psychotic. She’s proven in more ways than one that she’s willing to do whatever it takes to get what she wants. But honestly I’ve grown concerned with the complete absence of communication not just lack thereof. My dad would faithfully send my daughter a text every single morning saying, “Mi chichi y mi chichi 🤗🤗 yayyy!! Grandpa luvs you too much!” My daughter (13) is a teen now so of course she doesn’t always reply, but at the very least, every couple of days she’ll text back and apologize for not getting back sooner and that she loves him as well. I would at least get a video call from him once or twice a month. My daughter raised an alarm a few days ago when she asked if grandpa was feeling ok because he hadn’t texted her back in weeks nor had replied to the response she sent to his daily texts a couple weeks ago. This is super uncharacteristic of him. It then dawned on me that he hadn’t called nor texted me for my birthday which he never forgot. So I opened fb messenger to look for him so I could video call him. The account was deactivated. As was Snapchat and IG. The only thing still standing was tiktok. It made me question why those and not tik tok if he was trying to go incognito right? The more I thought about it, the quicker I came to the realization that everything that was deactivated was anything that had the video chat feature. I tried calling his cell and got no answer. I tried 3 days in a row and nothing. So eventually I just sent a text on a whim. Hours later (not right away as he usually would) I received a reply, but it was most definitely not how my father texted. He actually hated texting often because English is his 2nd language and he’d rather get the point across quickly. So I started to set text “traps” to see if I could get more proof that this wasn’t indeed my father responding to me. Dad absolutely loves holidays, so much so, he doesn’t drink on those occasions but will, on any other day lol (yea I know that’s backwards) So it being 5 de Mayo yesterday, he would’ve made mention of it. My birthday was 2 weeks ago but I was hoping she’d take the bait and say Happy Birthday as if it had been yesterday. Again, she wriggled out of that one too. I said eff it; enoughs enough. I need to hear his voice. I won’t be satisfied that everything is actually until I do. So I asked for a call… Nothing.. even though he said he would. Then I thought, what if it IS him and she is just controlling and monitoring his interactions and not allowing him to call me. I figured at least he could send a voice note. All my suspicions would’ve been laid to rest and that be the end of it. Still nothing. In all, what I’m asking is; am I just overreacting about being worried? And he simply just wants to appease her by not communicating with his family, or is there a possibility he may not be ok? How long should I wait before asking the police to go over for a wellness check? I haven’t physically heard his voice in close to 2 months. My daughter hasn’t received any messages from him in 3 weeks and his last upload to the internet was 3 weeks ago on that same day he sent his last text to my daughter.

2024.05.07 02:04 Low_Bee_1592 Anti-CoS Foundation Relationships, Part 1: To what end La Poubelle?

**Edited 05/13/2024 with strikethrough text events that may not be accurate which make the situation even more non-sensical**
Doesn't it make sense for the Foundations & larger SPTV content creators to thoughtfully curate what live streamers they promote/associate with? Are all these mutually beneficial relationships- "all exposure is good exposure"? Or are some associations harming the foundation and the underlying cause?
Part 1, the curious case of La Poubelle. From 10,000 feet: Scientologist & Hollywood dregs hangout. Owner supported a convicted rapist in court from trial-through-sentencing & harassed victims(!) during trial. She's a real pillar of society, maybe deserving a little karma.
So they picket her business/crime scene. Substance-influenced patrons and completely sane neighbors love the picket line. Over months we're live-streamed conflict>"content">clicks/donations. Rinse and repeat. But which beast that is feeding- social justice or just base voyeurism and coins in pockets? Legit question.
From ground level: Picketing the restaurant is mission-creep from the start, as far as an anti-Scientology foundation goes, though we understand the connections. (And screw Francois Koster). But every step after the first day strays further.
At this point, the two most influential amongst the boycotters, D.O.A. & Streets, seem hell bent on avenging their own cracked skulls, jail visit and lawsuits. Understandable to an extent. "Koster is the worst person in LA, maybe the world. Consequently we must boycott her restaurant to financial ruin."
Sounds nice. Y'all do it then- you two. Because others are unnaturally mimicking the aggressive behavior and language they've learned through observation and then find themselves in "situations". If these gents really want to keep the picket line going when they're not there, then MAN UP and advise these others on tactics & messaging because, as I'm going to point out, the scene is getting out of hand, which threatens all Scientology- and other- protest. Lead or quit.
Or maybe just let Lara and Mindy and silent-masked-guy-in-a-chair (for protection) handle LP all by themselves. (Or maybe a dozen Jay-in-Denver AI holograms- cuz he's a freaking unicorn). Their dialogue seems far more detailed and effective- and rational.
Look, its clear most of the other kids out there aren't equipped with purpose or message or a plan when the sh*t hits the fan. And they're going to get fu*ked over by the police/legal system or worse, hurt. And honestly, any SPTV OR OTHER channels that feature the click-bait confrontations also bear some of the responsibility of: consequence warning, message preparation, and mess cleanup ($) if these kids get in trouble or hurt. If you're encouraging the behavior and benefit from it, share the cost. Some don't know better. If you know better: advise, help.
Look, I've no sympathy for scumbag Francois Koster, or the dirtbags who've gotten away with many assaults on the group. But at which point do they reassess the goals, tactics and messaging. "La Poubelle supports rape!"? SMDH. Why are we here??
The point of diminishing returns at the restaurant was probably reached long ago. In addition to the assaults, picketers have reported being followed/stalked as they leave with LAPD being in no way sympathetic or responsive.
So the logical response to being stalked: In a display of complete rationality (/s) a half dozen+ larpers with cameras paced an otherwise empty parking lot near La Poubelle, other than Koster's car, that is. It was after midnight on a weekend- long after restaurant closing. And they waited on a 60(?)-year old woman to exit LP and walk to her car, cameras rolling all while bickering about who's clout-chasing most. Koster was never to be seen, thank God.
The answer to being stalked is stalking? While livestreaming it x6 (publicly posted evidence)? WTF are they doing?? When the restaurant closes, GO HOME.
In so doing, these larpers actually succeeded in doing what Koster is incapable of for herself- appear as a sympathetic character in this comic tragedy. They served up on a platter the plausible justification that SHE was the one being stalked. Well done. And to add injury to insult, LAPD has long monitored these livestreams. And you think even the most incompetent attorney wouldn't already have that scene documented in the soon-to-come restraining order request?
Hell, if I was Team Koster, I'd have let her walk out, call LAPD, film her from 100 feet away as she's swarmed by "citizen journalists". Shop the video to TMZ and its on the local news by noon. Koster would likely get an immediate RO, public opinion about "protesters" would likely drop, and the DA would be gifted a reduction in public resistance to the mounting threats to remove our rights to assemble, protest, and speak.
These rights are already being gutted nationwide nowadays. We don't need foolish actions of Inspector Clouseau & company jeopardizing our fundamental rights institutionalized to protect us from the totalitarianism our founders left behind in Europe. And that's not grandstanding as we're on that precipice now. This is a bigger issue than just anti-Scientology efforts, but it sure covers that too.
And finally, the La Poubelle Jump The Shark moment
Early May 4th at La Poubelle. Couple leaves restaurant. Woman turns around and calmly asks:
Female Patron: "What are you guys filming?"
Cuts-E: "That restaurant supports rape"
Female Patron: (pause) "Why don't you guys focus on more important things, like the Palestinian conflict?" (Good question. You can do both, but I get it.)
Cuts-E: "I don't care about the Palestinians" (WTAF?)
Layla: "Well I'm a victim myself so I support it"
Just super antagonistic. The couple didn't stop to argue and kept walking about 25 yards away to the street corner. An already counter-productive, disgusting interaction should have ended there. But Cuts-E & Layla wanted to argue more so they followed, mouthing off. Eventually minor physical altercation (a push & peacock feathers shown) & the "hero protesters" follow them to their car and get the license #. So brave.
So we've already made the scumbag owner a sympathetic old lady. Now we've also ceded the moral high ground to the patrons, neighborhood, etc. because of this moronic exchange. Excuse me for being kinder than they actually deserve. If I'm that lady I will forever remember that encounter and the impression it left regarding the larpers outside the restaurant- their lack of coherent message, aggressiveness, and selective morality. I'd go back just to patronize a place I perceived as being harassed by incoherent fools. La Poubelle was gifted misplaced loyalty because of a foolish encounter. Lose, lose, lose.
Cuts-E titled the video: "Those 2 drunk racist couples assaulted me and my friends at La Poubelle". Of cooouurse he did. If I was Koster I'd copy that video, loop it on my website, and send copies to the little Hollywood paper and to my lawyer. "Protesters" were verbally aggressive, less articulate and morally repugnant.
And to be honest it might be a benefit to EVERYONE (everything Anti-Scientology) if Koster was actually granted her "100 foot Planned Parenthood barrier" or whatever it's called. Because these foolish actions are making Scientology protesters everywhere else look incoherent and immature by association. Maybe forcing them across the street would be prophylactic damage control.
To recalibrate to the initial question: what does all this have to do with Scientology? Are there Scientology children in the basement of LP making crepes day and night? Does the association with/promotion of these streamers benefit the foundations?
Anyone who can coherently answer these questions in the affirmative then needs to volunteer to organize what's out there. Lead. Otherwise it's both counter-productive and dangerous. If not, don't promote them. Encourage them to stop. The Foundation(s) and anti-COS movement reputation is being compromised. IMHO
