Para 3 $100
s30v, skinny smooth G10 scales with red lanyard tube plug and compression lock tab attached (can be removed). 2nd owner, cut and carried but in great shape, factory edge is still very sharp and centered. Some light scratches on the scales you can see in video. Like most compression lock knives I've had there is a small hint of side to side play to get that drop shut action I love. Original lanyard plug included. Have box.
 
Bundle SOG Pentagon XR, CRKT CEO $60
Pentagon XR CTS XHP with G10, is honestly an underrated knife imo, never seen a better "detent" on a crossbar lock you cant really shake it out. super fidgety, carried and cut a bit, 2nd owner, sharp factory edge could probably use a strop, couple small finish marks on the blade.
CEO is an amalgamation of the copper and bamboo. 2nd owner, never used just disassembled. It has two sets of scales and didn't deploy when I got it. I got replacement hardware from CRKT (included) and tried to fix it but this putting on one of scale was the only thing that worked. Don't know much about it, I think it's D2. It deploys, cuts, and closes.

Woodmansee Park, Brush College Park. All of Doaks Ferry Road in Salem. Orchard Heights Park and Straub Nature Park. Darrow Bar and Spring Valley State Park. Silver Falls and Highway 214 leading up to it and back from it. Perrydale Road, King's Valley parking areas. Van Duzer rest stops, East and Westbound. Old US Highway 101.
US Post Office, Keizer. US Post Office, Salem. Oregon State Credit Union and Safeway parking lot in Keizer. Wallace House, Keizer Rapids Park (incl. disc golf course), that weird triangular park that's not on Google maps but has signs on River Road. Spong's Landing. Industrial Drive NE in Salem near UPS, that alley, and staircase up to Portland Road. Roadside cleanup at Clagett Creek. Clagett Creek Park in Keizer. Joryville Park. Palma Ciea and that sunset one or whatever.
Eola Ridge Park. Audobon Nature Reserve. Edgewater Street / 22 median cleanup.
US highway 22. Baskett Slough Parking lot. Mill Creek Park, Upper and Lower, and road/highway pullouts + BLM entrance. Buell Park. Harmony Road in Sheridan. All of Butler Hill, East and westbound. 18/22 pullout. 22 pullout with the Boulder before Fort Yamhill. Fort Yamhill, and roadside entrance at the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde. 2024.05.14 01:36 Apesma69 I Walked Across Torrance Just for Fun!

I had business to attend to in the early morning near Western & Sepulveda and finished up at 11am. Since I live car-free and it's a nice day, I thought I'd go on a little adventure and attempt to walk to my home in west Torrance from there. First, I walked to the Torrance Bakery in Old Torrance, where I bought a sandwich, which I took to nearby Prado Park. I sat amongst the fragrant roses and ate half (the lite fare sandwich was bigger than I thought!) then started ambling towards Torrance Blvd afterwards. I walked to the Civic Center, where I sat on a bench at the Veterans Memorial and nibbled the rest of the sandwich. From there I walked towards Hawthorne Blvd, where I decided to pick up a bus to shave off a couple of non-scenic miles. I regret having done this, as the stop was crowded with many homeless people, a couple of them acting erratically. One man chain-smoked and I had to keep moving around to avoid it wafting in my face. After an uncomfortable and undignified half hour wait, I boarded the bus and got off near my neighborhood and walked the half mile home. All totaled, I walked about 4 and a 1/2 miles for 3 hours. This may not seem like a big deal but for a 54f who suffers from a number of chronic, debilitating conditions ( hEDS, POTS, MCAS) it's a minor victory. I'm just gonna pat myself on the back over here!
I challenge those of you reading this to ditch your car for a day and just walk. And walk and walk and walk. Be a tourist in your own hometown. You will get to know your city in a more intimate way, maybe gain a new appreciation for it, see things you never noticed before like a cool, old historic building or all the towering eucalyptus trees that abound.

So this might be a weird/funny post, and potentially a long shot, but bear with me 😂
I'm currently living in Philly and my partner is coming here from the west coast to visit later this month. We're both in our early 20's and college students. My partner has been absolutely obsessed with Pomeranian dogs for years, sends me photos them constantly, and loses it when he sees one in public. We both really would like one, but between college and wanting to travel, it isn't the cards quite yet!
So as an anniversary 'gift,' I'd love to meet up with someone who has a pomeranian, in a public place, were we can meet and pet your dog (with you present the entire time, of course)! That might sound dumb, but he would be beside himself if this were to work out 😅 We're located near Center City and are available anytime May 21-30.

2024.05.14 01:16 jack_skellington Dear Bethesda, I'm perma-quitting Fallout 76, and I want you to know why. You can't win me back, but maybe you can help others.

So I logged out of F76 just now, and I will never log back in. It's over for me. The whole issue is 100% avoidable, though. I want to tell Bethesda why they lost me, and obviously this will give away some ways to keep other players.
First, the minor issues, which I'd solve with a mod in Fallout 4, but which are obnoxiously ever-present in the un-moddable F76:
But all of that was survivable. I've been building for a couple of weeks now, finishing quests (mostly not the Responders, but you know, other quests). Except... 3 days ago, I joined a game and the game couldn't place my camp. Someone else was in my spot. OK, no problem, you gave me a free "relocate your camp" so I will. But... all it brought over was my house and water pump. The gardens? Gone.
Not terrible, I'll rebuild. Over the last 3 days, I rebuilt a lot. My place is not good, I'm still low-level, but I had all the crafting, a vending machine, turrets for protection (which almost never seem to trigger on enemies, by the way), beds, and even got a settler who I met, who just hangs out at my settlement and plays guitar. Great.
And then today, the server locked up or went offline mid-game, and I booted back to the main screen. I had been in build mode at the time. I think that might factor in. When I got back in, it couldn't place my camp, gave me a free relocation, I took it, and when I put down the C.A.M.P. what did I get? It saved ONE ROOF TILE. Literally everything from the last 2 weeks was lost. To rebuild I'd need to get the resources again and re-place everything, new. I logged into a new game to see if it was a quirk, but it wasn't.
Bethesda, losing the items I had placed down today when it froze? Understandable. Losing everything, including the original building from days ago? Even the basic concrete flooring from 2 weeks ago? HOW? How could you lose THAT?
Bethesda, the game isn't good enough to persist with through this kind of mistake. I can forgive those smaller things like the cheery delusional "are we in a post-apoc game? tee hee it doesn't seem like it" theme, but if you're gonna do that AND then lose hours & hours & hours of my effort, WTF am I doing here? I'm not rebuilding, Bethesda. Sorry.
But maybe you can fix that for anyone else who is going to hit that same wall. Good luck.

2024.05.14 00:36 Coupe368 Update on Stormwater Meeting Today 5/13

This is a FEE, not a tax. If it was a tax it would be proportional to the value of the home.
The area is capped at 2500 square feet of impervious area, so a small $100k home pays the same as a $10,000,000 mansion. This is very regressive, and this wouldn’t happen if it was part of property tax and not an "add-on" fee.
Patty Sheehan District 4 made a pretty relevant statement that with all the new construction they seem to fill in the stormwater swales as soon as they get their certificate of occupancy.
"When a small 600 square foot home is torn down and replaced with two giant homes on the same lot, there is going to be more runoff, but the wastewater fees do not reflect this."
Robert Stuart District 3 asked questions on why there was a cap on the fee, the answer he was given was basically “that’s the way we’ve always done it.”
Mayor Dyer asked for more explanation on the cap and what options they had, the response was “they are doing a study that will take 6 more months.”
Robert Stuart District 3 asked if there was another formula for rates that they could use instead of square feet. The answer he got was “this is it or its not.”
There were several speakers from the West Side of Orlando who were clearly upset that the city is raising their fees in such a dramatic fashion when they have neglected the stormwater systems in their neighborhoods for decades.
Most of the speakers feel the dramatic amount of in fill housing added close to downtown in the last few years is causing the problem.
Lake Nona people already pay a separate fee for stormwater drainage and they don’t understand why they should have to pay more for the rest of Orlando because their stuff is brand new and in good condition.
Many speakers expressed that they could not understand the way the city calculated the impervious areas. (I don’t understand it either.)
Lots of anger was expressed over the 40 million dollar tax break for a developer in downtown when they turn around and are trying to squeeze the poorest residents in Orlando for another $17 million to pay for the stormwater shortage.

2024.05.14 00:21 Bambie1613 Is it normal to be thrown on a client with zero background information on them

I’ve been an RBT for a year now and a para for 2 years before that. I’ve worked at 2 clinics and just started a new clinic last Monday. I spent most of last week shadowing someone and then I did my comp on Friday. Today I come to work and I’m told that I am with a kid I’ve never shadowed or been told about. I didn’t even know the name of the client nor did I have a tablet or a log in to rethink to even take data or run anything! I understand sometimes you have to cover for other therapist but usually someone familiar with the client was there for me to shadow or the BCBA would come in there and give me more information on that client but neither of those happened. I went into the clients room and read the “coverage information sheet” the bip and a board that is on the wall with all the information on said client. Now to start the information sheet, the board, and the papers on the wall all said different times and schedules and I was so confused. Everything I was doing with the client there was someone telling me I wasn’t supposed to be doing that or my client wasn’t allowed to do certain things that I’ve already allowed them to do. I ended up with so many behaviors because I wasn’t able to do any antecedent prevention. This is my first day on the floor and I was so overwhelmed!! When the center manager called me into her office to finally set me up with a rethink log in she asked me how my morning was going and I told her bad. When I explained the situation to her it felt like she didn’t care. She asked if I went to the bcba but the only bcba I even met was the one for the kid I was shadowing last week so I didn’t even know who to go to. I explained to her that the information didn’t match up and that I was confused. She told me she was tell the BCBA and then told me I need to be in uniform tomorrow. ( I was just given my shirt 10 minutes before that. Felt like she didn’t even care. I felt so overwhelmed and unsupported I don’t even want to go back tomorrow. I don’t know what to do! I feel so defeated. I was excited to start at this clinic thinking I’ve finally find one I like just for this to happen 😔

2024.05.14 00:14 donnydoom After finishing the game, here is my review.

Story - Overall, I thought the story was good. The premise felt some what familiar, but that's not necessarily bad. I was a little confused during the True Ending (I guess it's the true ending?), but overall, it was easy enough to follow and I do like that there are a couple of twists. Not bad for a company that has only made mobile games so far. Nikke has a decent story as well, albeit sort of similar to Stellar Blade. Obviously not 1:1, but similar.
Gameplay - This is where the game shines, and even the developers stated they sidelined the story to make sure the gameplay was good. The controls are responsive, EVE dodges and parries as soon as you hit the button. I normally suck at parries in the Soulsborne games, but this game made me feel awesome when I parried a long combo. Also, because it's so responsive, if I messed up, I truly felt like it was my fault. The blink and the other move, I forget the name, were also cool additions to this genre, though I don't consider this a complete Soulslike game. Probably closer to God of War 2018 and Ragnarok. The platforming needs work, and is one of two gripes on the game. At some points, she sort of snaps to the platforms, and then other times she just will not. It's rather inconsistent. The other gripe is some of the fast travel points. Some were entirely too close to one another, while you would have some that were way too far apart. They should have had one at each fishing spot, and not had so many clustered in the Great Desert. Meanwhile, the west side has two in the northern part, and none on the south. It was just odd to me. One last thing, I also like that the game turned into a survival horror during a couple of parts. It was a nice break from hacking and slashing, though the platforming parts were a pain at times. I also felt like Matrix 11 seemed to drag on for a very long time, while the space center not as much. Except for the god forsaken turret section. That part was terrible.
Enemy design - They need to get this person on a Silent Hill game or they need to make a horror game. Some of these designs were very reminiscent of Silent Hill, and we're just overall plain awesome. One enemy has a damn grindesaw for a head. The survival horror section enemies also reminded me a lot of Resident Evil, so they did a great job of capturing that feeling in a hack and slash game. And the biblically accurate angel near the end was amazing.
Outfits - Every outfit in this game is amazing, even the teddy bear one. I honestly can't decide which one she looks sexiest in, classiest in or just overall best. If I had to pick, sexiest would be prototype (the feet are weird though), classiest would be photogenic and best overall would be magician. But it's honestly hard to say, because ocean maid, black pearl are awesome. And there as so many classy ones that make her look awesome. Ugh, it's hard to decide definitively!
Overall, I would say this game deserves it's praises, and they have some room to grow. Much like Lies of P, these developers have shown that they shouldn't be taken lightly just because they primarily make mobile games. They have some real strengths and can make an awesome, compelling game. I can't wait to see where they go from here, and I hope the make a sequel.

ILLYRIA
The Ancient Greeks used the term Illyria to define a region in the western part of the Balkan Peninsula. The numerous peoples who populated those areas were known collectively as the Illyrians. The region itself is quite mountainous.
THE MIDDLE
May refer to the Midlands, the central part of England, though geographically the Prythian map places the Middle central to Prythian, not central to England; with the Prythian inclusion of Scotland, the Middle on Prythian maps is located further north than the actual Midlands of England.
UNDER THE MOUNTAIN
A potential nod to the Schiehallion, a cone-shaped mountain often referred to as the center of Scotland. It's name comes from the Gaelic SÏth Chailleann, meaning "fairy hill of the Caledonians." On the southwestern side of the mountain is said to lie the well-concealed Uamh Tom a' Mhòr-fhir, a cave serving as an entrance to the underworld.
As the Schiehallion lies in the middle of Scotland (the Night Court) and not the middle of mainland UK (Prythian), the Sciehallion could instead be representative of Ramiel.
THE WESTERN ISLES
May refer to the Outer Hebrides, also known as the Western Isles, which is an island chain off the west coast of mainland Scotland. They are also sometimes known as Innse Gall, a Gaelic term meaning "islands of the foreigners/strangers" which was originally used by mainland Highlanders when the islands were ruled by the Norse.
ACOTAR role: The Prison is located in the Western Isles.
THE PRISON
Though located in the Inner Hebrides of Scotland rather than the Outer, the Prison may be a nod to Beinn Shiantaidh, which is Scottish Gaelic for "holy mountain." It is located on the western side of the Island of Jura and is the second highest peak of the Paps of Jura.
Fun fact: Pap is of Old Norse origin and means breast.
VALLAHAN
Valhalla is the hall of slain warriors in Norse mythology, located in Asgard, where those who die in combat live in peace under the leadership of the god, Odin. They are said to dwell in Valhalla until the events of RagnarĂśk, where they will then march out to fight in aid of Odin against the jĂśtnar, a type of being in Germanic mythology.
ACOTAR role: Vallahan is a faerie territory located in the northwest portion of the Continent.

The Adriatic Sea is located in Southern Europe and separates the Italian Peninsula from the Balkan Peninsula. It contains more than 1,300 islands.

The Oorid Lough is a freshwater lake in the west of Ireland.

ACOTAR role: Cretea is where Miryam and Drakon's people lived following the War.

Lapland is a geographic region in Northern Fennoscandia which covers much of the Nordic countries. It is also a province of Sweden and the largest region of Finland.

Ithaca is an island featured in the Odyssey and was the island home of Odysseus. It is also a real island in Greece. The Kathara Monastery is located in Ithaca.

Montserrat is a mountain range near Barcelona.
ACOTAR role: Montesere is a fae territory located in the Continent's NW and is considered generally wealthy. They allied with the loyalists in the War.

Ravenna is located in Northern Italy and was the capital of the Western Roman Empire.

ACOTAR role: Rosehall is mentioned in ACOFAS and is theorized to be the place where Azriel's mother resides.

AFRICA-PARALLEL LOCATIONS

THE BLACK LAND
Black Land translates from Kemet, a popular ancient name for Egypt, which is derived from the color of the fertile black soil along the cultivated area of the Nile valley.
ACOTAR role: The Black Land is a region of the continent where human slaves were ruled over by a High Fae queen. Miryam and Drakon joined the mortals in the War and freed Miryam's people by crossing the desert and eventually the sea.
THE ERYTHRIAN SEA
The Erythraean Sea, originally an Ancient Greek geographical designation, has been used as a name for the Red Sea which lies between Africa and Asia.
ACOTAR role: Drakon used his magic to split the Erythian Sea.

ASIA-PARALLEL LOCATIONS

XIAN
Xi'an is the the most populous city in Northwest China snd the second most popular tourist destination in China.
ACOTAR role: Xian is a Fae territory on the Continent and allied with the Loyalists during the War. A large majority of the Dawn Court is made of Fae from Xian, including Thesan's mother. Feyre remarks that Amren may have molded her mortal body after their peoples.
BHARAT
Bhārat is one of the two principal official short names for the Republic of India.
ACOTAR role: The Archerons lost their fortune when their father's ships sank on the way to Bharat.
RASK
May refer to Rask, a city in Iran, that serves as both capital of its county and district.
ACOTAR role: Rask is a Fae territory on the Continent and allied with the Loyalists during the War.

ADDITIONAL LOCATIONS

VELARIS
Possibly derived from the Latin vēlo*,* meaning "to veil, cover, wrap" along with "to hide, conceal" and "to clothe in." Could also derive from the Latin vēlum, meaning "to veil, curtain" and also indicates a tarpaulin acting as cover for outdoor spaces.
THE WALL
No singular reference, but the presence of a wall separating one race from another, often humans from mythical beings, is rife throughout history, mythology, and fantasy.
One from each category that has loose ties to ACOTAR: (1) Hadrian's Wall, ie the Roman Wall, a defensive fortification of the Roman province of Britannia. It spanned from coast to coast, cutting across the entire width of Northern England. (2) In Norse mythology, the Master Builder asking for the hand of the goddess Freyja as payment for constructing a wall around Asgard to defend the gods. (3) The English village of Wall in Neil Gaiman's Stardust, named after the wall separating the land of Faerie from the mortal realm, highly guarded and cautioned against for mortals seeking to pass through.
THE MOONSTONE PALACE
Romans linked moonstone to the moon goddess Diana (goddess of wild animals and the hunt) and Ancient Greeks linked it to their lunar deities Artemis, Hecate, and Selene.
SIDRA RIVER
Sidra is a name of Latin origin and means "Goddess of the stars" or "like a star."
RAMIEL
Ramiel is a fallen Watcher, a type of Biblical angel, one of the 20 Watchers that rebelled against God by mating with mortal women, therefore creating the Nephilim (Shadowhunters, anyone?). In the annals of gaming history, few titles command the reverence and adoration as the legendary Doom franchise. Born from the minds of John Romero, John Carmack, Adrian Carmack, and Tom Hall, Doom would go on to lay the foundations for just about every modern video game that exists. It was a true tour de force, a success story few could scarce ever imagine.
Released in 1993, Doom was an immediate smash hit, thanks in no small part to its shareware format, which allowed users to experience the first few levels of Knee Deep In the Dead, and then order the full game via the phone number included. Players could then share the floppy disk with their friends, and so on, and so on. It was a truly revolutionary system, and within a single year, Doom had sold over 2 million copies.
The history of the Doom franchise is one of innovation, ultra violence, and controversy (1999's Columbine High School Massacre), and that reputation is one that continued with 2016's DOOM. DOOM was officially revealed at Quakecon 2014, ten years after Doom 3. Players had long resigned to Doom being considered a dead franchise. A reboot had been in the works for a number of years prior, but never got released, having been quietly cancelled by id in 2010. The future was bleak, but the 30 second long teaser ignited a spark that had been burning dimmer every passing year.
Then came E3 2015.
The hype was unreal. The trailer had everything that fans could possibly want. Gore, intense violence, insane run n gun gameplay, a rip-roaring soundtrack and the MFING CHAINSAW. But fans had been let down before. Would it really hold up its promises?
Yes. Yes, it would.
PART I: Presentation
When DOOM burst onto the scene in 2016, it did so with a visual and auditory spectacle that left players awestruck. From the moment the game boots up, players are made aware that this is not your average shooter. You are greeted with a deep, commanding voice. "Rip and tear, until it is DONE."

That is the introduction to this game. It never wastes the player's time. We aren't here to listen to long droning monologues or watch MGS style cutscenes. id Software knew their audience, and knew what that audience wanted, and they deliver in spades. This introduction sets the tone for the entire experience: relentless action, unapologetic violence, and a protagonist who is as unstoppable as he is uncompromising. The Doom Slayer's disdain for exposition and his single-minded focus on annihilating demons resonate with players who crave a pure, unadulterated gaming experience.
By eschewing lengthy cutscenes and exposition-heavy dialogue in favor of fast-paced gameplay and visceral action, id Software delivers a game that respects the player's time and delivers exactly what they came for: non-stop demon-slaying action. In an era where many games are criticized for padding their runtime with unnecessary filler, DOOM stands out as a shining example of how to create a focused and engaging experience that keeps players coming back for more.

Exploration is key to progression and is rewarding to those players who choose to do. Hidden throughout the levels of the game are Argent Cells, Praetor Tokens, and Rune Trials. Each of these provide upgrades to your health/shield/ammo, suit, and passive abilities respectively. Also hidden throughout the game are levers that lead you to classic levels from Doom 1 and Doom 2, which then unlock the full level of its respective game, playable from the main menu. You can also find toy models of the Doom Slayer, which unlock various character models to view. On some of these models, the Doom Slayer will perform a unique action when picking it up, such as fist bumping the classic Doomguy. It's a nice and cute little touch added by the developers that does a little to add character to the Slayer, who is a silent protagonist.
id Software masterfully blends modern game design with a deep reverence for the classics, paying homage to the series' storied history while introducing new elements that propel the franchise forward. Central to this approach is the game's character design, which strikes a delicate balance between nostalgia and innovation. At its core is the iconic protagonist, the Doom Slayer, whose design pays homage to the original Doom Marine while incorporating modern updates that make him feel both familiar and fresh. With his battle-worn armor, imposing stature, and silent demeanor, the Doom Slayer is the embodiment of raw power and unrelenting rage.
The game's roster of enemies is a veritable who's who of classic Doom foes, reimagined for the modern era. From the lowly possessed soldiers to the hulking Cyberdemon, each enemy is lovingly crafted to capture the essence of its 1990s counterpart while introducing new mechanics and behaviors that keep players on their toes. Players can become demons by collecting runes on the battlefield and this gives them a distinct advantage; demons are larger, stronger and more resilient. Players are bizarrely restricted to only two weapons and a loadout in multiplayer, which blew my mind. Loadouts. In a DOOM game. The demons are also massively unbalanced and if one team manages to get a particularly powerful demon such as a baron of hell, then it's a guaranteed win. All in all, the multiplayer just isn't great. You are better off replaying the story or arcade mode, or even SnapMap.
SnapMap is id Software's proprietary level editor, and it puts every other editor on the market to shame. SnapMap is an incredible, intuitive, easy to learn system allowing players to create their own multiplayer, co-op and single player maps. There is an extensive tutorial system that teaches users the basics, and goes up in depth, covering how to use AI triggers, switches, combinations, object layering, actions, recalls, audio cues, etc. Never have I ever seen such an in-depth interface on a console game before. While it is only surface level in the grand scheme of things, SnapMap is a great introduction to teaching users how game development works, and I urge everyone to try it out at least once.
Part II: The Music
In DOOM, the music isn't just a background accompaniment – it's a driving force that propels players forward, electrifying every moment of the gameplay experience. Composed by the incredibly talented Mick Gordon, the soundtrack of DOOM is a relentless onslaught of metal and electronica that perfectly complements the game's fast-paced action and visceral combat. Not for me, but for my GF.
She worked at a company for 15+ years and one evening working for a call center, she received a call after her shift end as she had not logged out of the system after the last call. (back-to-back calls). She received a call that would have required a translator (up to 5+ minute wait). She put the call back into the queue, and later that week she was fired for the reason. "Call Avoidance", Before that she had great reviews and no write-ups or warnings. Also, it was said that no OT was allowed.
She even put in the reason she was let go in the unemployment claim with the above scenario. This would have been late 2021 they fired her for a "zero-tolerance" policy on call avoidance.
She has an upcoming hearing disputing it due to "misconduct". FYI - this is for Virginia.
1 - What is likelihood she can win this or side with the company? 2 - Should she find a lawyer? 3 - IF they find in the company's favor, can she appeal, or will she have to pay it all back? 4 - IF she has to pay it back - no way she could pay at once, could payments be made?

Hi everyone. So I'm looking for some guidance in this situation. Located in west valley city, Utah.
August 2023, my wife and I purchased a home (townhome) in West Valley City. Its an older unit but we wanted it as a starting home.
We knew this home came with some small cosmetic issues and 1 outside problem. The outside problem was mostly seasonal, and everything else was fine since the house is in a great location from freeways and main roads and the shops around it are growing so we saw the future potential on the home.
The outside issue is that our driveway collects water during rain time. To the point on which we would have 2 inchs of standing water on our driveway. The issue goes away around 24-48 hrs after it stop raining and it goes back to normal. Other than that the issue is almost nonexistent.
When we bought the house. We knew it came with an HOA. Yeah we know it was our first mistake. But this house was in our budget. It fill most of our requirement list and we saw the future that it had. We read the HOA requirements and what they covered and the requirements weren't so terrible, and they covered a lot of things we thought were okay.
On August we saw that when it rain, water would accumulate on the driveway. We signed the papers on august. We already knew about the standing water since we did a full inspection before buying the house. And this was address during the inspection. However, the seller and previous tenants told us that the HOA was working on the situation. We started to see what else we could do about it from our end. And found out the HOA covers this part of the house and we couldnt do much without havingto involve the HOA.
We called them in August. Addressed the issue with them and specifically told them that the issue was in our driveway and no where else and that the water was filtering into the living room when it was too severe. We decided to not install our floors until this issue was addressed. On September we "moved in" and we started to work on the house.
On September 27th, The HOA sent a company to come "fix the issue". I happened to be home that day. No one called us and told us anything. I was getting there and they were knocking on the door and thats how I found out. We had to reschedule with the concrete company because no one told us anything and we were working on the house. So we weren't ready. They came back about a week later and what they did was installed a French drain outside on the grass area and didnt do anything to address the driveway issue. When the concrete people came, they worked on the inside, removed our drywall and left our home. I called the concrete company directly and asked them when they were going to finish our walls and they said that "we remove the drywall and insulation but we dont installed it again. We do the other work. The finishing and installation of drywall has to be some other company or someone else since we dont do that". We told the HOA and no one did anything so I fixed it myself.
We contacted the HOA and told them we still have the problem. We address the issue again to them. That the driveway is the problem and not the grass area. Because the issue was not fix. They said they would look at it and let us know what other thing they could do.
We waited about 2 weeks and we emailed them again, and no answer. We emailed them again after another week and no answer. By this point it was already almost November. I emailed them once again but this time in a more threatening way saying that if something happen to my family and my property in relationship to the standing water (water freezing and my wife falling down. My car sliding off because of the ice or my walls getting damaged due to water expanding inside) they would be responsible for it. Within 24hrs we got an answer and 3 days later they came over to check what else they could do.
They said that because of the weather they couldnt do much. (No shit) It was almost December by now. And I told them thats why we let them know back August/September and they ignored us. We decided to wait until 2024 and see what they would do.
Well we reached out again on February and in march 2024 the concrete company came to the house to "fix the issue" when they arrived without giving us a noticed they saw that what they had schedule was not even what they could do and they had to reschedule. They said they would called us in about 48hrs and tell us a plan. Well its may and we still havent heard from the HOA or concrete company.
We are going to 1 year of trying to fix this issue and the HOA keeps ignoring us and pretending that they dont know whats going on. We emailed them twice in the last weeks. First email was ignored. Second they said they would let us know. This was almost 2 weeks ago
What can we do to fix this? All i want is the driveway to be fix so I can install my floors. I have over $2k on material sitting in my living room because I cant install it because I dont know when they will fix it and if they are doing anything inside the house. Since I have concrete on the main level it gets extremely cold during winter and I have a 2 year. Space heaters are expensive on electricity and I cant keep one running 24/7. Are there attorneys or organizations that dont charge much who can help me or guide me? Like i said all I want is to get it done and fix and nothing else. I dont care what the HOA does after. I just want to finish my house.
We suggested them to install a drain or some type of way to send the water outside but they keep ignoring us and saying they will see what other things they could do. Any one has any suggestions on what to do?

All I knew for sure is that they are extracting certain materials from them, then synthesizing them with some other shit, creating some sort of drug. Whether it then becomes a bio-weapon or a dick stimulant, I do not know. Neither do I care. As long as they kept the hundies coming, I was good.

Now, while Anna is of Russian descent, she is a freelancer. She will work for any sick, skeevy motherfucker out there. She does not care. She has no conscience, at least not in the traditional sense as we understand it in western civilization. Today she is working for the Chinese, and tomorrow she may be working for Hamas. So here is how it went down. At 11:32 p.m. on a Friday in September of last year I get a call on my cell phone. But Anna, she was stuck on Putin’s instruction that she must supply him with apex Sasquatch. So she did not want to take my advice of heading to the Pacific Northwest or Alaska. Instead, Anna claimed to have pinpointed the whereabouts of a particularly gruesome sasquatch beast that she KNEW would win her a fortune from Putin if she brought it to him.

“So, where is this beast?”, I asked. Anna replied “Martha’s Vineyard”. I paused. Then I asked her to repeat herself. It turns out that I was not mistaken about what Anna had said. I continued, “Uh, Anna, there are no sasquatch on Martha’s Vineyard, just a lot of wealth New Englander schmucks.”

Anna looked at me and told me I was wrong. Then she decided to attempt to taunt me. “Oh, Rod, mighty slayer of Bigfoot! I decided that I needed to straighten out the hierarchy here in order for this here deal to move forward. I said, “Well, Anna, feel free to truck on over to Old Whitey Beach and battle that beast. But, if there is a big old mangy sasquatch lurking around over there, then it is probably a fucking Nazi-Squatch. You know, those fuckers out there hate the Jews.”

The work “Nazi” visibly shook Anna. Her great grandfather died defending Leningrad. Her entire family there died of either starvation or cannibalism during Hitler’s siege during Operation Barbarossa. Anna despised Nazis. But she feared them too. After landing that punch, I decided to push my luck.

“Now, I am still willing to help you catch this here Nazi-Squatch, but you have to do something for me”, I said. Now Anna’s eyes were on me, and they were narrowing. I stared at the photo and remained silent. After a long moment, I turned the phone so that Anna could see the photo and asked, “Uh, Anna, is THIS what you intended to show me?” She replied. “Yes! There…Sasquatch! The biggest, grossest monster around.”

Now, I could not argue with Anna that the image on her phone is a big, gross monster. Hell, it could actually be a sasquatch, and THE UBER sasquatch. It is most certainly the grossest thing on Martha’s Vinyard. But I somehow do not think this is what Putin is expecting.

I turned to Anna and said, “Anna, this is a photo of Michelle Obama. I know it looks vile, and has a huge, hulking body with large appendages where a woman should not have them. But, sweatheart, that ain’t no sasquatch. That’s a big, hairy Chicago street negro.”

After that, things took a rather dark turn. “What if we still take her to Putin? Anna was like, “No hanky panky, Rod. I am tired and I want to go to bed. Tomorrow we finish business.”

Frankly, I did not blame her for withholding her magnificent muff from me. I was tired as hell. But, I could not settle for nothing. So, when Anna was in the bathroom taking a shower, I started going through her suit case. I wanted to find some of her panties to jack off into. Instead, I found a little black notebook. Inside it contained her lodging codes, and some other interesting things. I photographed the contents with my phone and then put it back.

When Anna got out of the shower she was already dressed in her night clothes. She saw me lying on my back, nude on the bed, and jacking it. “Rod!! GROSS!!!! Go to the restroom to do that shit!!!”, she commanded. I just did it to get a rise out of her. LOL!!

So, if Anna is still inside the U.S., then using the codes I stole from her I can locate precisely where she will be that night. I studied it for a few moments then had my answer. Tonight she would be staying at the Dogman Inn on Hwy 95 South, Room 355. I told Rattler to get me there stat!

We had to stop several times for fuel and beer. Those Hueys go just a bit over a hundred MPH, you know. But eventually, we got there. I gave the boys some money and told them to go to the Waffle House for some coffee to sober up. Then they would fly me home.

I should mention that I also had Rattler’s fully auto Russian AK-74 with spare mags. During the long flight with 2 drunks from Washington State to New York City, I had worked myself up into a towering rage over how Anna fucked me on this Putin deal. She had clearly thrown me aside. But for what, exactly? I figured I would storm the hotel room, get some answers, then shower the room with gun fire.

I busted through the door of Room 355 at exactly 3:35 a.m. There she was. My entry roused her from slumber. I was pointing my rifle at her, center mass. She was shocked at the appearance of a gunman in her room at this time of night. However, she was not as shocked as one would think (this was not the first time something like this has happened to her).

I raised my face from the receiver just enough so she could see it was me. “Rod!!!”, she exclaimed. “What happened to you?!?!? I thought you had died up in those mountains when we never hear from you!” I replied, “Shove it up that cute little ass of yours, Anna. You fucked me. And not in the good way. What the fuck was all that shit about needing a sasquatch for Putin?!?”

Anna played dumb. But it struck me that I had been deliberately put out of the loop for 3 months. Why? Who wanted me away for that long, and why? What went on in my absence?!? I was just dying to know!!! I set my rifle down and pulled out my fixed blade knife, ready to get down to some real nasty work on Anna so I could get some truth. The pure evil of what I was about to do to her caused a wide death grin to grow on my face. Anna saw it. She knew what it meant. She swallowed hard and her eyes betrayed the shear terror she felt inside. I was engorged with blood lust. She knew she had fucked up one time too many this time!!

Suddenly came the sound of the toilet in the bathroom flushing. I was momentarily shocked. I did not expect anyone else to be there with Anna. Anna saw it in my face. I glanced at her and saw that the terror in her face was replaced with pleasure, a slight smile creeping over her face.

I was going to have to face off against this person in the bathroom, who would be out in a split moment. When I do that, I will have to turn 180 degrees from Anna, thereby making me vulnerable to her. I had only once choice: Shoot Anna first.

Just as this came to me, but just before I could act on it, the bathroom door opened. I had to deal with that person before Anna now. I spun around to see that it was a completely nude, and fat, white man. He was a real oafish blob. He looked surprised to see me. He also looked sort of familiar.

I next heard the crack of something hitting my skull hard. I remember the immediate hateful pain that shot through my body and the sound of blood rushing through my ears. I remember the dizziness, then falling to the floor. Clearly, as I fixed on the man from the bathroom, Anna had cracked me over the head with a blunt object.

I came to the next morning, Billy Ray and Rattler had manage to track me down based upon coordinates I left in the chopper that said “IN CASE OF EMERGENCY”. Billy Ray filled up the hotel room ice bucket with cold water and doused my head with it to bring me conscious. I was disoriented at first. But after a bit, what happened in this room the night before came back to me.

Honestly, I am surprised that Anna did not just kill me. I presume that she thinks she can leverage her drop-dead hotness to get me to do more shit for her in the future. She is absolutely right about that too. Rattler then said, “Hey, Rod, that snake bitch left a letter fer ya.”

He handed me the letter. This is what it said:

Sorry about the boo boo on your head. Hope it heals soon. Also sorry about leaving you in the mountains. I was not running a scam on you Rod. Rather, an opportunity arose for me to acquire a sasquatch body from another person. You may know him since you are a sasquatch hunter. His name is Matt Moneymaker. Anyway, until next time…..

I could not fucking believe it. That was fatfuck Moneymaker in the hotel room earlier. Anna fucked Matt Fatfuck Moneymaker for a Sasquatch! That fat son of bitch!!

Billy Ray asked, “You ready to go Rod?” I stood up and said, “Yeah, let’s go.” Then Rattler said, “Hey, ya wanna stop and git some beer fer the ride home?” I replied “Hell yeah.”

I felt like I wanted to die. Thank God for beer and buddies. I don’t blame Anna. She is a fucking snake, and I knew that before this started. Also, I cannot really blame fatfuck Moneymaker for wanting to get some of that hot poon pie Anna serves up. I guess I have to blame fate for fucking me over this time. I even started thinking that next time I will just avoid Anna. But I know I won’t, thus making me subject to this sort of shit again. I had Rattler set us down in Charlottesville so I could buy some hard liquor.
