Last November, an elevated PSA 4.x ng/mL triggered the prostate cancer "lifestyle" for me. MRI showed an anterior apical lesion PI-RADS 4. TRUS fusion biopsy at the end of January didn't find anything in the PI-RADS 4 lesion but low grade Gleason 3+3 in a PI-RADS 2 zone.
Because of the discordant pathology, the urologist ordered a MRI guided biopsy, which I had today. This one is done directly in the MRI tunnel where they can directly visualize the needle and not rely on a software fusion process.
I never saw anyone describe an MRI guided biopsy experience on Reddit so I though I might as well write one.
Compared to the TRUS fusion biopsy, which was in a clinic with two health care workers performing the procedure, the MRI guided biopsy was a much bigger production. It was done in a hospital setting where I had to go through the admission process, followed by two nurses taking vitals, setting an IV line, injecting antibiotics and administering an enema (check all modesty at the door).
After prep work, the radiologist explained the procedure and off I went onto the MRI table. Positioning was a lot more involved than for the mpMRI that just did imaging. They placed me face down (with my face in an opening similar to a massage table) and then two MRI technologists spent a lot of effort positioning my butt correctly (one really has to be comfortable exposing himself to strangers). Then they inserted a robotic contraption into my rectum that can adjust the needle guide to hit the spot based on the 3D MRI pictures.
An hour of loud MRI noises followed. They injected Midalozam through the IV which made me sleepy. There was no lidocaine like with the TRUS fusion biopsy. After the baseline images were taken, the robotic thingy started to adjust, which was an awkward feeling, followed by verification of the needle guide with more MRI noise.
Then they slid the table out of the MRI tunnel and injected Fentanyl and told me they'll take the first sample in a minute. The Fentanyl made me not care about anything and the sample didn't hurt at all. Just a little pinch. They left the needle in and moved me back into the MRI tunnel, where they took pictures of the needle in the lesion. This process was repeated 3 times.
Then they explained what not to do the next few days, took vitals for half an hour and discharged me.
Waiting on the pathology results now.

Overall, a weak defence and weak diss track but maybe not 100% trash as ppl make it out to be. It has some gd qualities but it is ultimately damage control, poorly executed and an attempt to get the last word in when the battle is already likely lost. Or at least seems lost for Drake, judging by what he said in the end monologue and just overall public perception of Kendrick being on top and poor reception of the heart pt.6.
Before we move on, yes, I do have a kendrick bias. The man is my goat 🐐 Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong about anything on the track.
Good things about the track first,

• Nice beat, the production was good and felt menacing which complemented drakes focused tone and streamlined rapping which solely addresses kendrick and no distractions.
• Excellent use of the Aretha Franklin sample, telling kendrick to pull up with receipts. I like the subtle use of it in the end as well. Sample worked well to begin the track and let Drake talk about Kendrick needing to pull up with evidence (double standard but I’m not too fussed). The war general bar he uses is a bit too braggy to me after getting dunked on but probably works due to him being battle tested.

I didn’t like it being brought up due to intentional lack of context but it was good for drake to mention this and paint Kendrick as a hypocrite I guess. Correct me if I’m wrong I don’t think it was kdot himself but Punch who did this although I think XXXtentacion may have thanked kdot in a similar situation. (I don’t remember properly tbh)

• The title itself (self explanatory and I just cba to explain)

The bad things… Summarised - the entire approach was terrible and the majority of the angles used were either bad and/or poorly executed, especially how he tries to dismiss PDF allegations.

• Pulitzer Prize winner bar Some ppl liked this opening bcos it flips kdots own bar but I just don’t like it. Why remind people kdot is a Pulitzer winner and make them remember kdots own bar about your past as a former actor, a persona you want to move from?
  
• Daughter Damage control (or the way that Drake tries to say Kendrick is dumb/desperate)
  

He does this by saying that the 11yr old daughter thing was intentionally leaked misinformation. But there’s reasons this isn’t really working for Drake. Before I say more, I want to say that I don’t think Drake actually has an 11yr old daughter but I don’t think Drake intentionally leaked this info. I think kendrick was just misinformed by a bad source - nothing more. Regardless, the idea of an intentional leak isn’t a good look for Drake. It’s not the chess move he makes it out to be. reason is that if it was true, it proves Kendrick’s claim of him being fake, an actor and master manipulator and why is he focusing on this as a chess move instead of the Drizzler accusations??!! A major reason why it doesn’t work is that why would he spread a lie about himself that reminds people about him being a deadbeat and furthers his deadbeat reputation. Why not lie about something else (and make it more believable)? Why give that lie to a talented writer like Kendrick and let him run with that lie and use it for two whole days in a story of Adidon sequel that shatters the whole public perception of him winning the rap beef. Why would he let that track marinate for two days, instead of saying he had intentionally leaked the daughter info right after Meet the Grahams? He wouldn’t even have had to drop a whole response track to say it. He could have just posted an IG story saying that he did that. Instead he just straight denied it via his IG story with no evidence and waited two days to reveal he intentionally leaked with no evidence to back up the leak. To the public, due to the time taken, it either seems Drake is lying about intentional leaks (and is crowdsourcing inspiration from his own fans on social media because they were making theories about leaks) or either he looks incompetent if he is telling the truth. Bcos why would he have no evidence about a planned leak especially if he is asking kendrick to pull up with receipts and why would he take two whole days to reveal the planned leak like it was some master war general move.
We all know Drake is capable of releasing tracks quickly and Heart part 6 seems to be written after Not Like Us. So why would he respond so late especially after Kendrick dropped a club bop that hammered Drake down (no drizzy). Overall, this rebuttal is either a bad lie or a bad truth but it’s shitty damage control either way

• Why did Drake double down on weak accusations he already mentioned?This is what I meant by poor attack. The majority of people didn’t believe Drake the first time round due to strange execution and certain things not adding up about those accusations. The accusations sounded desperate and false the first time and sound the same now. Why would kendrick keep working with Dave free if that was the case? Would that make Kendrick the opposite of Drake, in terms of being a deadbeat dad?

The domestic violence seems to also be a desperate claim and is covered by the breakfast club interview where kdot addresses it. Also, I think the initial story remains unverified (Correct me if I’m wrong). Why talk about Kendrick and the mother of his children being potentially distant/ legally separated as if it’s a bad thing? Lots of couples are separated and it’s very normalised. If it is a bad thing, what does that say about Drakes own parents? Why mock Kendrick for not being close to his partner and mother of his children, especially considering the situation with Adonis m? I feel like Drake uses very shallow things to jump to conclusion which makes it seem like he’s lying, why does Dave free liking a post and leaving a comment, mean he is fathering a child and why does a non-follow mean a couple is split? Drake just seems too chronically online if this is his thought process but hey idk

• Mother I sober I remember listening to how he used Mother I Sober and being like “Nah, that aint it”. Don’t get me wrong, the subject is open game albeit distasteful. Morals were out of the window and Kendrick has been cooking this man. I see why Drake tried to use it to deflect some intense pdf labels off himself but it was poorly executed. He intentionally made a wrong conclusion missing the point about generational trauma by saying that Kendrick got touched on. He uses this to spin the narrative, saying this means kendrick is obsessed with PDFilia and crazily sees him as one with no evidence but this backfires since ppl call Drake out for making the false claim that K got touched when it explicitly states in the song that he wasn’t touched. This just makes him look stupid instead of calculated.
  Also, it feels like Drake is mocking Kendrick for being touched and not for weirdly using the PDF label which makes it worse because it’s distasteful and he already has that PDF label on him. Drake, a person perceived to be a PDF, mocking someone for being touched by a PDF just makes Drake look more like a PDF. Why give people ammunition like that? Winning a rap beef is all about public perception and how people receive what you say, (hence why tea is so effective) and Drake just loses out regarding that because of how he approached a sensitive subject matter and trying to mock a PDF victim when being suspected of being a whole PDF.
  Furthermore, misunderstanding the song on purpose adds to peoples disillusionment with drake and his place in hiphop and his status as a rapper. This was very sensitive subject matter, that Drake just didn’t have the skill or know how to navigate and successfully to use against Kendrick
  

He shouldn’t have intentionally lied about Kendrick being touched instead of his mother and should’ve approached it with a different calm tone, (almost like a therapist exactly like kendrick occasionally does in his songs), pointing out Kendricks failing to his mother in using pedophilia as a serious smear against him with little evidence. A commercial rapper kicking knowledge to a conscious rapper and flipping the script like that in a calm tone would probably be pretty disrespectful and well received due to valid criticism. That being said, Drake just doesn’t know how to use his range to accomplish that and probably doesn’t care - he just went for what he thought would be most disrespectful and didn’t think that the subject matter would blow up in his face like it did. Also, I think he underestimated how strong the PDF label on him was and how sinister normal people find PDF allegations on celebs and how intense the shock factor of Meet the Grahams 2nd verse was to the listener.

• PDF damage control - using fame as a shield

The fame shield was pretty funny because it honestly shows how some peoples minds become so far removed from reality and how they think other ppl perceive society as opposed to themselves when they get some fame and live a certain lifestyle. What do you mean you’re too famous to be a pedophile Drake??? Why did he think that would be well received? I’ll try not to say too much about this because its so obvious and you all would understand if you heard what he said and have common knowledge about MJ going to a trial (when he was probs the most famous man in the world) and the decades of freedom, fame and acclaim certified PDF celebs have had (R Kelly, Saville, Polanski, Epstein, etc.). Also talking about himself and how much he isn’t a pdf just makes him look like a pdf. Did no one in the OVO sweatshop say anything? Or were they worried that if anyone said anything wrong, they’d be banished to the studio basement and chained to a workbench eternally cooking up hits like Jesse was in the last episodes of breaking bad?
In Drake’s defense, I would kinda somewhat understand this idea if Drake, being as big as he is, was absolutely 100% squeaky clean in terms of rep and had no “smoke/fire” in terms of speculation/rumours about being a dodgy ped. But that isn’t the case. There have been rumours/speculation about Drake for years about him being dodgy with minors. Is there any solid evidence of him being a PDF? No, no smoking gun so it’s hard to say he is a PDF but there are a lot of rumours and speculation nonetheless. We’ve seen him in relationships with questionable age gaps and we’ve seen him kiss teenagers on stage and make weird comments about their body when finding out they’re a teenager. He also think it’s normal to be an adult and go out of his way to slide into the dms of a teenage girl and start being weirdly friendly and giving them advice about boys and relationships. He chose the wrong angle to defend against the claim. Since the claim was thrown with little evidence from Kendrick himself, Drake should’ve been able to better defend against it, but man did he fumble.

• In all honesty, I don’t think Drake is a PDF that grooms under 18s (or whatever is illegal in Canada) but I think that’s not really the major point. I don’t think Drake is some serial offender who prowls around the local Toronto kindergarten or high school looking for kids to kidnap and diddle in the embassy. Drake did actively go out of his way to deny being a PDF and mentioned Epstein and I think he is looking at the lyrics of Not Like Us and the online PDF jokes/discourse about his questionable history with minors and is playing defence saying he’d never look at teenagers or anyone legally under the age of consent. However, I don’t think that’s what Kendrick is getting at. I think kendrick is comparing him to Harvey Weinstein who targeted young women who were adults and kdot is suggesting stuff about SA and trafficking rings with adult women and I think that’s where kdot goes if he replies to Drake. This makes sense due to the whole tinder thing, kdot name dropping Weinstein and Drakes known relationships with young adult women as well as the major kickers - 530K dished out on SA cases before and OVO signee who has plead guilty to trafficking charges before somehow having them dropped. As to whether rumours/surrounding SA and trafficking of adult women is true, I honestly have no Idea and there is a gd chance,it’s just speculation and I hope it’s all false because that’s not really something for rap beef and is probably something for the right authority to go send OVO to Jail. However, since it may be an angle, I’ll say that I don’t think Drake properly played defence on this base and didn’t talk about the “offenders on OVO” that kdot mentions, just himself.

Right now, Kendrick is still up but he might still respond for the sake of a wider victory and letting the stock (5+5 or whatever) off, just to finish Drake and make sure he doesn’t maintain commercial success, like he did after story of Adidon. Alternatively, Drake could drop again and a lot harder, forcing Kendrick to reply. Also, narratives can easily change on social media, forcing another drop from anybody. But I haven’t slept so maybe I’m just rambling and overthinking stuff. Let me know what you think

The Kendrick/Drake rivalry, soft power and the fall of empires
My current hyperfixation is obviously the beef between Kendrick Lamar and Drake, which has taken to enormous proportions this last week (or days) in the culture, American yes, but not only that. This effort post, it is my attempt to link thoughts that I’ve had while following it, and especially arguments that I have read or heard coming from several people doing their own analyses.

Timeline

Well before the explosion of recent weeks between the two artists, they had collaborated in 2011 and 2012 on several tracks, and Drake, by then already a superstar, had even included Kendrick as the opening act on his tour Club Paradise. From 2013 onwards, however, their relationship tarnished when Kendrick took on several names in the industry with “Control”, including Drake. The majority took it pretty well. Not Drake. Over the several following years, the two have sent sneak disses at each other. Kendrick saw everything that is wrong with the rap industry personified in Drake, the man disgusted him, the very fact that he could exist and thrive made him retch. Drake, with his pop-infused hip hop, always ready to do features with trending artists to surf on the different fashions of the day in the genre, saw his ego swell alongside his success. And he couldn't stand being attacked, he has had beefs with too many people to count. Let's jump to March 2024, where Kendrick responded to J. Cole including him in the "Big Three", Drake, J. Cole, and himself with this line: "Motherfuck the big three, n**a, it’s just big me.” In April 2024, Drake released “Push Ups”, relatively unimportant in this affair, then “Taylor Made Freestyle”. That’s where shit exploded. Drake had used an AI on this track to copy 2Pac's voice, one of the giants of hip-hop. The Tupac Estate threatened him with a lawsuit, forcing him to delist the song. On April 30, Kendrick released “Euphoria” (Drake served as executive producer on both seasons of the series of the same name), a six-minute diss showing the extent of his contempt for Drake, threatening him throughout with retaliation if he didn't stay well above the belt (i.e. keep the family out of it—a social contract softened when Pusha T revealed the existence of Drake's son in “The Story of Adidon” in 2018). May 3, less than 72 hours after *Euphoria, Kendrick released “6:16 in LA”, where he implied that he had a mole in Drake’s entourage feeding him information. The same day, 15 hours after 6:16 in LA, Drake releases “Family Matters” with a music video, in which Drake appeared at the restaurant mentioned in Euphoria, and crushed a van of the same model that Kendrick had used in his early days and which appeared on the cover of his second studio album, “good kid, m.A.A.d city”. He talks about Whitney, Kendrick’s fiancée since 2015, accusing him of beating her, and of being an absent father.

meet the grahams, Not Like Us, BBL Drizzy & The Heart part 6

About fifteen minutes after Family Matters, Kendrick releases “meet the grahams”, a song with a horror movie beat, in epistolary form to each member of Drake's family, Drizzy himself included. Honestly, my mouth was hanging open from the first line “Dear Adonis [...]” (where he addresses Drake's son directly), I couldn't believe it. Imagine for a moment that a man who hates your guts interrupts your family stroll, kneels down in front of your six-year-old child, and says “Dear [Adonis], I'm sorry that this person is your parent” while looking straight into your eyes. The disrespect shook me. In Family Matters, Drake had gone where Kendrick had warned him not to go, his family. But Kendrick had anticipated that angle of attack, and dressed him down in meet the grahams a mere fifteen minutes after the last drop, accusing him of being addicted to gambling, to prostitutes, to drugs, of having a hidden and abandoned second child, of not really being part of Black culture, and even more damning, of being a pedophile, hiding other pedophiles in OVO, and being part of a child sex trafficking ring. I insist, this is not what is expected in your typical beef. Juicy details about cheating, addiction problems, sure, but above all good bars that get people excited and talking. Not allegations of that magnitude. Not a song that makes people widen their eyes and wonder where such visceral hatred comes from.
Less than 24 hours later, Kendrick drops again, with “Not Like Us”, this time a catchy club hit, with an energy the polar opposite of meet the grahams. The level of accusations remains the same, or worse. The difference is that this track had been made to play in clubs, and by its structure encouraged the crowds to harmonize on lines such as “Certified Lover Boy? Certified pedophiles”, or “Tryna strike a chord and it's probably A-Minor”. In my opinion, this is the moment when Drake lost the battle for the public’s heart. Everyone was stunned after meet the grahams, not really knowing what to do with this filthy beast, but it seems hard to come back when people are dancing and singing along to a track calling you a pedophile.
Of course, everyone was waiting and is still waiting for solid evidence on these allegations, from Drake sure, but more importantly from Kendrick. Nevertheless, it’s hard not to wonder the why of these damning accusations, and why at this precise moment (the trial of Sean Combs, aka P. Diddy, began in early April 2024 with very similar accusations).
On May 5, Drake released “The Heart part 6”. He responds to Kendrick's allegations, and ends the song without rapping, saying he’s disinterested with continuing this beef. In my opinion, and I think I speak for a lot of the people following the culture even a little bit, this ain’t it. The name of the song, the little sample at the beginning and the first line are the only solid parts of the track. Why say that he discussed and planned the leak about the alleged daughter with his entourage, only to five lines later say that the moles are clowns? Why not show the receipts with phone calls, or screenshots, when that would prove his stroke of genius? Why give Kendrick bullets when he accuses him of being a manipulator? And what’s with that unhinged read of “Mother I Sober”? To say Kendrick has an obsession with child-touchers because he was SAed as a child when he was talking about his mother, who suffered this horror in her childhood and couldn’t see past her trauma ? Going there is the mark of sick mind. Not to mention that even with that stupid read, plucking that string when Kdot accuses him of being a pedo with his full chest ? That’s damning. Or, while the P. Diddy trial is going on—after Weinstein, after Epstein and all these rich sex pests, defending himself from this accusation by saying that he’s too famous and respected? Is he out of his mind? Especially when for almost 15 years he’s been seen as a creep when it comes to girls way too young for him. And besides, why even name drop Epstein or Millie Bobby Brown on his own? The guy fuels the allegations against him when he tries to defend himself.
Not to mention that just before that, Metro Boomin dropped on his Twitter his “BBL Drizzy” beat with a challenge: the best bars win a beat from him, free of charge. Literal stroke of genius when Drake dissed him and told him to stick to doing drums. Malicious compliance at its finest. Thousands of up-and-comers from all over the world rushed into the breach. I was able to hear bars in Japanese, German, or French. To quote Drake, it's no longer 20 to 1, but thousands to 1, with a disstrumental where the diss is baked in. Just like Not Like Us, it doesn’t help him that the beat is an earworm.

Lol, who the fuck cares

Usually, I would say “more power to you” to those who don’t give a single fuck. But this hits different. Kendrick is not only attacking Drake but the entire culture industry (naming Weinstein in meet the grahams and using the word “industry” in every track starting from Euphoria). #MeToo was not very successful. Some wins, but overall, it wasn’t the revolution anyone hoped for. Way too much pushback from mainstream media. Attacking those giants is dangerous. For years, the hegemonic media has been abusing people who point at their attackers, the vast majority of them women accusing men. By asking about their dress, their perceived sexuality, the supposed kickbacks they’d get when blasting their abusers. We’ve seen this with Amber Heard, who, by physically defending herself from Johnny Depp the alcoholic, could not be the perfect victim, even though she fits all the other criteria: she’s white, she’s gorgeous, she’s talented. The list of people who were in Jeffrey Epstein’s Lolita Express has been published and…nothing. Or not much. On the other hand, right now, we have millions of people in all countries sharing tracks calling Drake and his entourage pedophiles, a global culture primed and ready for testimonies, even calling for them, if they exist. Imagine for a moment being someone who has had this kind of experience. Not the sordid details, but the anxiety, the fear of losing the small support network that you've been able to keep, the impossibility of filing a complaint when half the cop population are wife-beaters. Seeing Roman Polanski or Woody Allen parading around with a litany of allegations behind them. Contrast this with a moment when the culture dances while naming your abuser a pedophile, where it dissects his every word, finding filth in everything he says. Where thousands of artists put their best bars on a disstrumental ridiculing him. The court of public opinion is already on your side. It calls for you.

The important things

There is a genocide going on. Several, in fact. As I write, Rafah, the so-called “safe enclave” in which the Gazans have been forced to take refuge by the Israeli occupying army at the start of this phase of an ethnic cleansing that's been going on for more than 75 years, is threatened. Nearly a quarter of the clothing we wear goes through the hands of the enslaved Uyghur people in China. So why talk about a stupid beef between two very rich men? It demonstrates the power of soft power in the structure of global culture. It provides, in what I think a completely unexpected way, keys to possible solutions to all the struggles pitting the small against the powerful. Make no mistake, the soft power that we see with Kendrick and Metro Boomin clowning on Drake is not the one coming from the American empire, but the one from the African diaspora, from those that are still being enslaved in the American prison system, and resonates powerfully throughout the world. I absolutely do not recognize myself in American culture as it is introduced in propaganda blockbusters like Top Gun Maverick or other tools of the DOD to promote the illusion of the American empire. The messy and contradictory culture of hip hop, on the other hand, yes. Its homophobic delusions and toxic masculinity while it worships the ground that 2Pac touched. Tupac Shakur, a theatre kid who did ballet and presented himself dressed like a leather daddy at times. That culture I vibe with. Kendrick's demonstration of the power of cultural circulation at a time when we see the facade of the imperial core collapse, its criminalization of anti-war protests and climate justice activists, while we’re in the middle of public health disasters—no, covid is not over—, humanitarian crises, and climate chaos makes me weep with joy. It’s the only time I’ve laughed out loud and danced in the streets since the beginning of October last year. This is one of the rare moments where I understand with my guts Mariame Kaba when she says “hope is a discipline”. It’s been years since I’ve written this much. So let's diss our so-called elites. Let's dance while calling them murderers. Let's bang on pots every single time they open their mouths. Chuck some eggs their way. Let's stand in the way of cops trying to assault students occupying universities (funny, suddenly they're against territorial occupations, uh?). Let's create safe spaces for those who have the courage, the need, or the opportunity to go further.

I recently posted about the mbta looking into electrification of their commuter rail system. Digging through the docs I was able to find their requirements. It definitely is a detailed request which is good since it minimizes the chance of something being missed. Being thorough is great since they really seem to want to get this right. This isn't a half assed thing. With this info, what can we deduce from it in terms of companies qualified to meet the requirements? For example is this something keolis could handle or would an outside company be better suited? I can't answer that but also take this time to debate about it. It is a ton of info so it's no surprise things will take a while to make progress.

Hey all. I recently posted about the mbta looking into electrification of the commuter rail system. Digging through the docs I was able to find their requirements. It definitely is a detailed request which is good since it minimizes the chance of something being missed. Being thorough is great since they really seem to want to get this right. This isn't a half assed thing. With this info, what can we deduce from it in terms of companies qualified to meet the requirements? For example is this something keolis could handle or would an outside company be better suited? I can't answer that but also take this time to debate about it. It is a ton of info so it's no surprise things will take a while to make progress.

So, for the past few months there has been a CEL who I felt been constantly passive aggressive with not only me but I noticed it with previous coworkers and clients. In the beginning, it was her tone of expressing things and she would make you feel dense and foolish over common questions or incidents. Yesterday, I was wrapping up a sale with my client as she asked if we had a certain product and I told her I would head to the back to check. On my way back to the stage, my CEL is telling me to check out my client (which I was going to do after doing a stock check) and said one second. I come out and I'm in the process of checking out my client and she was sweet and felt like we made a bond so I thought it would be nice to give her a few samples. As I head to the register, my CEL is counting receipts in the sample bin? I walk up and I say excuse me I just gotta wrap a few and she stops me and says "uh uh you see me doing something, you can wait". I was very taken back because it wasn't even in a joking manner, she genuinely had me standing there feeling like a idiot, all to finish counting receipts in the sample bin at the two sided pos??? That whole thing just ruined my day and I've already been thinking about leaving but this was the cherry on top.

Hello, I’m sorry this is going to be long and ranty. I was diagnosed with JIA years ago, chronic knee, back, shoulder and hand joint pain. I had a flare up and 4 of my finger joints were swollen. I’ve been in pain since age 11. I was put on weekly Enbrel shots with pain meds for a couple of years. I had to switch hospitals and my new rhuem told me that I didn’t have JIA and said it was fibromyalgia. Completely brushed me off and sent me home samples of a new drug. She didn’t even pull my records from the other hospital. I felt completely unheard and stopped going.
Years later my symptoms are completely unmanageable. Doctors still say, “you’re healthy just eat better.” I have less mobility in my left hand and visible swelling on my ring finger. My left shoulder and upper back are at a constant 6/10 pain and physical therapy is not helping. I have new symptoms that have persisted for a few years now.

1. Entire left side of body is in constant pain. Numbness, tingles, it goes to sleep if I’m sitting on the toilet for a few minutes and when driving. In the last month it’s travelled to my head. Tingles and face numbness. It feels like my face is drooping? I cannot sleep on that side or I wake up numb and my shoulder feels “caught”. I have to manually unstick it.
   
2. Rashes. I never used to be sensitive to sun. 5 minutes of sun and my legs get itchy, burn and become red with bumps. I now have a rash on my nose and cheeks only. The skin is slightly rougher. Face rash is constant even without sun but sun makes it more noticeable.
   
3. Asthma has gotten worse. I’ve had pneumonia twice. My chest cracks and catches and is super painful.
   
4. Left side of Back went out for the first time ever. My rib cracked out of place and it took a week to subside.
   
5. I’m hyper mobile in my shoulders, knees, hips, elbows and toes. My elbows are achy just lifting them.
   
6. Allergies are worse.
   
7. Headaches and vision in right eye is impaired. Driving at night is stress inducing. Everything blurs and my sensitivity to artificial light is high. Lights in the house give me headaches and prefer being in the dark. Pressure behind eyes and dry eyes. I use artificial tears.
   
8. I used to have great arm strength. I can’t even open jars anymore. I’m a massage therapist and my pressure is so different now. I can’t carry groceries bags without having to drop them.
   
9. Tired. ALL THE TIME. I have ADHD and my meds don’t help with it. I want to nap constantly.
   

I feel like an old person. I have fantasies about scraping and digging in my skin to relieve pain.
I feel lost. I walk dogs and massage. I love it but my body doesn’t. Honestly wondering if something else is going on.

Husband and I just got back from a four night stay at the Grand Lido in Negril Jamaica for a delayed honeymoon——wanted to provide a review.
Transport shuttle: do yourself a favor and book a private shuttle. While the resort is around 50 miles from the Montego Bay airport, it will take an hour and 40 minutes to arrive via private shuttle. We went to the resort in a shared shuttle, and did private on the way back. If you do shared, just know that we waited an hour on the charter bus for guests to fill the bus, and then was on the bus for 3 hours until we got to our resort, because Grand Lido was the furthest one, and you will have to wait for everyone to get dropped off, from closest to the airport.
Grand lido is on the far left end of the Royalton resorts. Royalton has a family friendly side on the far right, the adults Hideaway as the main area, and Grand Lido on the opposite. To walk from grand lido to the other end does take about 7 minutes. The family friendly side has all of the night activities, water sports rentals, the bigger swim up bar, and kid friendly pool.
Water sports rentals: sometimes the person in charge of rentals doesn’t show up on time. They also do not rent snorkeling equipment if it is raining at all and there is. A 45 min max time for snorkeling. We wanted to snorkel on our end, but that’s an almost 10 min walk. So we wish we would have bought some snorkeling masks off Amazon and packed them with us. Instead, we headed to the souvenir shop and spend 45$ usd per mask. The best places to snorkel are on the private grand lido beach, and the hideaway main beach, where we saw puffer fish, multiple HUGE rays, colorful fish and sea urchin. They open at 9 for rentals, but we couldn’t get paddle boards until closer to 11 because the rental person just wasn’t there.
Alcohol: Grand Lido does get one complimentary full bottle of liquor, and because we were on our honeymoon, were welcomed with a bottle of champagne. Their champagne was… more like a sparkling wine. Alcohol was unlimited, and it is open bar. Unsure if they’ll just pour shots for you, we opted for some mixed drinks, some tropical drinks. They’re standard pours. They do have a martini bar that I wish I would have had time to sample.
Restaurants: the buffet was a 4/10, calypso 8/10, hunters steak house 5/10, seafood restaurant 5/10, ocean point 6/10, coffeeshop 6/10, room service was 5/10. Let’s just say what it is, the food was not good. Service was sometimes horrible, we waited an hour on three occasions for dinner, and twice at breakfast for our food to come out. Sometimes service was amazing! Breakfast at the Italian place and ocean point are the exact same menu. If you have the option to eat an ocean point, eat there because the view was beautiful. Breakfast was honestly the best tasting meal of the day at the buffet and at ocean point. We got invited to an exclusive welcome dinner at ocean point on our first night where we did a 6 course meal, and I didn’t finish any of my plates—which for me, is highly rare. TBH unless it was served breakfast or the dinner at calypso, I left food on my plate at every meal. Food was either under seasoned or it was just not good quality. I expected the fruit to be at least good, but it wasn’t even ripe and had no sweetness any of the times I had it. the fruit that they serve is always the same: watermelon, cantaloupe and honeydew. That’s it.
Tips: we had a butler, she arranged transportation, appointments at the spa, refilled towels, drinks, and made reservations at hotels for us. She had the ability to bring us food and drinks, but we used the pool side butler 2x for that, and left a few dollars for him. Gratuities are included in the resort fee, but if we had exceptional service at a restaurant, we left 10$. We left 10$ for the maids as we needed their service one time during our stay. We left our private shuttle driver 20$ since it was an hour and 40 min drive. And of course left our butler about 50$ for her help. She checked up on us multiple times a day, even if we didn’t need anything. You can pay everything and anything in Jamaica in USD.
Excursions: the only excursion we opted to do was the sunset catamaran. The website advertises this as looking peaceful and quiet, it’s a party boat. There were around 50 people total, free open bar, stops at Ricks (which is like a margaritaville) for an hour. We met at margaritaville at 1p, ate and drank if you wanted to on your own dime, loaded up the boat, went out about 20 minutes out, snorkeled for an hour, headed to Ricks, then came back for more partying and went back to shore at 630p. It would have been lovely if it was sunny, but it rained and it rained hard for much of the trip. We were not told what to truly pack, and were way overpacked. Show up in your swimsuit and cover up, comfortable flip flops or water shoes, and bring a beach bag of your money, towels, spf and that’s it.
Nude side: splurge for the private swim up pool. It is partially private as there’s apparitions on both sides, so if you’re just laying out, none of your neighbors see you. Once you leave your porch, it no longer becomes nude optional, it’s nude only on the tanning dock and “beach”. The beach isn’t a true beach, it’s a small cliff area overlooking the ocean. We’re in our early/mid 30’s and we were the youngest couple there. All other couples were 55+. The nude side was my favorite. It’s quiet, it’s freeing to just be out there naked. No one cares that you’re naked but if you have a nicer, well toned body, just know people will look.
Price: it was overall 3100$ to the resort for four nights. 120$ private cab back to the hotel, 64$ shared shuttle to the hotel, 120$ catamaran with snorkeling and open bar, 240$ for a couples massage, 90$ to buy our own snorkeling equipment, 240$ Southwest airfare tax only, as we had points to fly for both.
Things to bring: cash in all quantities, we did 50$ in 1$ bills, about 100$ in 5$ bills, a few 10$’s and a few 20$’s, totaling 400$ cash. We still came home with about 100$. Definitely being spf, buy some cheaper snorkeling gear and pack it, itch cream because we came home with about 20 bites each from sand fleas, bandaids for blisters, a reusable straw as all they have are paper ones, and water shoes if you’re going into the water. We ended up bringing all kinds of crap that we never used: insulated bottles, towel clips…
The resort was absolutely beautiful. The rooms were well kept. My favorite thing to do was to wake up before everyone else, go for a walk to the coffeeshop, bring back two coffees and wake up my new husband so that we could sunbathe together in the morning before breakfast. It was costly. And am unsure if the cost justified it. We wished we could have stayed for a few more days, but the room we were in was about 750$ a night, it was wasn’t something we could afford more of. So in total, I would rate this a 7/10. Will we be back? Idk that we’ll come back to this resort per se, but nude optional is definitely something I’ll be looking for in the future.

I’m basically just going to copy paste form a post I posted on the autism subreddit. I am autistic so I do not expect everyone here to fully understand what I’m trying to convey.( I’m also not sure if this is a post that belongs here, plz just remove post if it’s not) Recently I got written up at work for being “rude” to customers. For reference I’m 20F and I am a cashier at a newly opened grocery store near me. I got hired on the spot when I was interviewed because I have cashier experience and I’m pretty nice. I am always extremely nice when working and always have a smile on my face and even when customers are rude to me or making things hard I still smile. However in the last two weeks I have had 2 negative complaints against me for things that to me didn’t feel rude at all. I don’t know if this is due to my autism but I make jokes or do things that I find funny or nice that these customers perceived as rude. The first customer who complained was a young woman who was already upset with me because in her opinion I didn’t tell her the restroom code but I didn’t even know we had a restroom code when she asked me where the bathroom was, we had just gotten a code the day before so I didn’t even know we had one when she asked. After the bathroom she came to my line and I rung her up. Based on my memory is was a pleasant interaction and I was smiling and laughing with her the entire time. At the end I recommended she do our survey and fill it out for me. She told me she was going to fill it out for our sample girl who already has 40ish surveys because she walks people through the surveys. I made a joke about her having a lot of surveys and I need one. It was a joke and I didn’t intend to come across as rude but the customers said I was extremely rude and that I was offensive? The second customer was an older woman who was talking to the lady n line behind her basically the entire interaction. I attempted to talk but I was afraid if I interrupted their conversation it would come across as rude. Her and the lady behind her didn’t separate their groceries so I started ringing up the other ladies groceries and they basically got mad at me for it when they didn’t separate them? So I had to go back through and delete them but the whole time I just said it was okay and wasn’t a problem at all. They continued talking to each other and then one of my superiors came over to collect money from my register so she sat there and waited for me to be done. They then started talking to her thinking she was a manager and wanted the corporate number. Again I didn’t want to interrupt this conversation so I continued to do my job and didn’t interrupt. Eventually I was done with the First Ladies groceries and I grabbed her receipt. I thought she was with the lady behind her so I normally say good bye to people like this when both their transactions are done so both customers get attention. I perceived this wrong apparently because she wasn’t with the lady behind her and she left before I could say good bye. She then called my job as soon as she got home to say I was rude and ruined her experience. My managers then said when they went over the footage of the interaction that I looked “not in it” when it reality I often stand there in the Same posture always because I tend to stim by rocking back and forth when I work. I tried to explain my reasoning behind not talking and that I felt it would be rude by interrupting but now I feel my judgment is possibly screwed due to my autism and my social skills not being amazing. I am a good cashier and I am always always nice so I don’t understand why my managers didn’t believe me when I said I was just trying to avoid being rude. None of them listen to me. It’s very difficult because I do things based on my judgement of believing what’s nice and not nice but now I feel I may not be correct. :(

Stats: being real - undergrad was trash - I focused solely on my design thesis to get a good job, which I did - GPA 3.0
Post Bacc: good news is my last 40 credits are a 4.0 - did a clin psych post Bacc (16 credits) and a premed DIY post Bacc (18) - from Berkeley extension // community colleges a ccredited. have Chem with lab as well - took stats too.
Mcat: 515 - self studied for like a year whew
Clinical: 7 months psych tech (overnight shifts)
Crisis hotline: 500+ vol hours (over 5 years)
Vol community / art: over 2,000 hours for real b/c I really am dedicated to community art & design spaces!!
Research: 0 but I was a UX researcher for part of my job & did focus groups for community health groups that I designed work for (billboards, marketing, overall feel to boost morale / dignify community health programs)

I'm currently finishing up the last week of a Jeff Nippard program, and I've been feeling pretty sore. I've had massages before, and I guess it's possible I signed similar consent forms without reading, but this bulletpoint really stuck out to me:

Everything else in the form seem to be standard "I have disclosed all my medical conditions" and "don't be creepy to the masseuse" type of language. Is this standard? I'm leaning towards canceling my appointment and looking around elsewhere, but just wanted to get others' thoughts.

Vanderpump Rules is a hilarious comedy about what happens when attractive people are accidentally ensnared in Lisa Vanderpump’s tacky trap, and drown under the weight of her cast-off pink flowers. The first season was basically perfect reality tv, and after endless rounds of weird slap-fights and short-term marriages, it appeared to be down to its dying embers, until an unscheduled cheating scandal allowed the show to rise like the phoenix tattoo from Ben Affleck’s back.
“Look, I had a problem with alcohol,” Ben wishes we’d quit reminding him.
With the scandal a hot headline, Bravo scrambled to grab their cameras while everyone was still bleeding in the street, and when it came time to edit, they knew this season wouldn’t be rage-bait unless they anchored it in misogyny.
“I thought we were going to be like the Spice Girls,” Ariana frets. “I was hoping I’d get to zigga-zig-ah.”
“Ha! Turning women against each other is why I wake up in the morning,” Andy Cohen pauses eating a baby long enough to sip from a glass of drunk housewife tears.
April kicks off with Ariana still adjusting to the opportunity and income upgrades birthed from total life upheaval, while the vultures in her network circle the sky for scraps and squawk their way into the narrative. Her ex Sandoval shuffles in platform shoes to embrace his Charlie Brown remorseless redemption arc. This is tricky to sell, since he can’t even perform giving a shit, so he comes off more sociopathic than a serial monogamist who can’t exit a relationship without a lady-in-waiting.
“I feel like I should mention Burning Man again,” Sandoval sighs, promising this isn’t a ten-year midlife crisis, and you don’t need to see his driver’s license to check his age.
Sandoval’s hoping Schaena’s obsessive jealousy over Ariana’s turn on Dancing with the Stars will be enough to derail whatever flimsy loyalty she previously assigned to their friendship, which is a safe bet, since there’s no woman Schaena won’t assign a burning bear suit for a tendril of male approval. So begins her full transformation into Gretchen from Mean Girls, storing everyone’s tea in the location tracker on her phone, and reading off receipts whenever the attention-fairy fails to flap under her chin until she sniffs out the chorus for her next chart-missing autotune monstrosity. This is how she makes fetch happen, and tattoos it onto her arm.
“It’s all happening. It is. IT IS!” Schaena gestures violently at her pop culture initiation ink.
In the past Sandoval recommended that the cheating partner in a relationshit be the one to exit the household, but now that he’s in the village stocks that policy needs a rewrite, and like his last romantic implosion, he refuses to be the one to leave.
“This is why I tell people I wasn’t crazy, I was REACTING!” Kristin reminds everyone this is her Monica Lewinsky year.
So Ariana and Sandoval still occupy the same address, with personal assistant Ann tasked with playing a boring game of telephone. Ann’s duties include tidying the floor’s wayward hair extensions, stuffing laundry into biohazard bags, and marveling at the contents of the litterbox while Tom tracks his reflection during slow treadmill meditations on nailpolish and facial hair. Ariana has been very busy while Sandoval has just been very, so when Ariana asks Ann if she knows anyone looking for assistant work, the person Ann recommends is…herself.
“I’d really really really really like to work for someone who does stuff!” Ann squees.
“Well I’m probably going to get depressed soon, since everyone’s disparaging me for my success, and my best friends kinda aren’t…” Ariana tries to get Ann to calm down.
“I really want to work for you. Really.” Ann can’t be calmed. “I just put an enema bag in the trash. Help me.”
The next day Ann shows up in business casual attire, and quickly checks in on Tom to make sure he hasn’t lost his balance during mandatory mirror-flexing. She tells him Ariana is eager to tap her assistant network, without noting it’s a network of one, and makes haste for the kitchen. With nothing better to do than linger in the doorway of Ariana’s advancement, Sandoval learns THE TRUTH about Ann’s ambitions.
“I won’t fire her exactly, but I’ll humiliate her, and start seeing another assistant on the side,” Tom has one solution for all things.
Once Ann is crying in the kitchen, Sandoval takes his woe-is-me tour outside of the house, for more conversations about how unreasonable Ariana is for stealing the assistant that helps him wrangle the tasks of buying batteries and neglecting animals.
“Those aren’t my pets and I shouldn’t have to take care of them,” Sandoval self-awares. “Still, Ariana shouldn’t say they’re hers just because she adopted them, pays their expenses, and feeds them.”
“You locked my dog in my room for three hours, and it ate my garbage monument,” Ariana scowls.
Tom swears he shoved the litterbox full of feces in the room first, so the dog had a variety of things to snack on. That’s right, we’re given not one but two litterbox reveals, when zero would have been just fine, and it’s hard to believe the presented trough is the product of a single cat’s anal efforts, even over the stretch of a week.
“Grandma, I don’t think a cat would poop on top of poop like that, grandma,” Pogue Bun-Bun can’t believe his pink toes and nose. “I would just stand in front of it and say ‘Grandma’ over and over again while tapping the wall with my beans. Don’t they listen, Grandma?”
“Apparently not, Pogue Pierogi,” Fractalfay says, getting back to the business of doing whatever her toxoplasmosis directs.
All the same, the ASPCA needs to do a wellness check on all animals affiliated with this cast, including the frequently-biting dog working out a name-change, the cat who poops like a 41 year-old narcissist, the post-operative dog recovering from skewer-eating, and anything Schaena’s glued to her eyes.
“It’s mink!” Schaena snaps, reminding us about the time Tom saved her from financial ruin. “That’s just like a weasel or something, it’s not like it was doing anything.”
“Why are you looking at me?” Brock looks up, excited to be included.
Schaena reports she’s wrestling OCD brought on by post-baby hormones and the man-baby she shares a house with. Brock thinks the solution to this anxiety is more nannies, so there’s always someone on hand to pat makeup onto a toddler’s face while he’s busy shopping for budgie smugglers.
“I don’t see why we should parent when we don’t have to parent,” Brock’s done this before.
“I feel like this is your second chance at being a dad though,” Schaena fries.
“Doesn’t everyone get three chances?” Brock checks his notes, but all he’s written down is BECOME SANDOVAL STEP ONE: SHOES.
Schaena needs a hobby to distract herself, so she reveals she’s tracking dozens of people on her phone and knows who hooked up with who. Schaena’s big scoop is that Katie slept with Max, her former stalking victim/one-sided relationshit, and apparently Schwartz’s best friend this season. No one gives a shit in the slightest, despite Lala’s efforts to mountain-up this molehill, so the cast gets back to what they do best: chasing Ariana from scene to scene, asking if she’s gotten over her ten year relationship’s implosion yet. Now? How bout now? Now? How bout now?
This fails to trigger Ariana’s get-over-it reflex, and instead she finds herself at a beach picnic with last season’s trash and only Katie to trade side-eyes with.
“Basically I’m right professionally,” Katie reads. “On Bravo, this guarantees a villain edit.”
Schaena sits by gamely while Brock scrambles for screen time by reminding Ariana of the recent relationship crimes that lubricated her star ascension, before Schaena pivots to the once-upon-a-time everyone on the planet flirted with her even if no one else remembers.
“Tell me I’m pretty,” Schaena, always. “No, again! Tell me again!”
Only 10 of those admirers got a restraining order to halt proceedings, and since two of those were John Mayer, it technically only counts as one.
“It’s two,” John Mayer interrupts. “I had to make sure she couldn’t reach me by land or sea.”
“That still leaves air!” Schaena shouts, quickly scrawling down the name of her next song.
Sandoval and Schwartz disappear to discuss the injustice of consequences for actions, while Ariana tries to explain for the hundredth time that the manipulation window has been closed, and if her ex wants to keep smashing into it like a lost bird, that’s on him.
“Stop shoving him on me,” Ariana snaps.
“We’re leaving,” Katie calls Schwartz to let him know he should get his stuff.
“Could you just grab it?” Schwartz asks, assuming Katie is still his mommy replacement.
“Bye!” Katie is retired.
Katie and Schwartz then attempt to have a conversation about Katie’s mattress snacks with lost cast member Max, and for the first time Schwartz looks damaged.
“Maybe we could get dinner sometime,” Schwartz is not over it.
“I don’t want to get dinner sometime,” Katie is over it.
If Schwartz is going to pursue Katie all over again he’s going to need to slough off roommate and sometimes-girlfriend Jo first, which is going to be a challenge since she describes him as her “favorite person ever” thanks to a shared love of robot-noises and rubberface expressions. Jo’s not equipped to deal with the cast’s level of toxicity without a juice cleanse, so she opts for sabotage and bleaches the high holy fuck out of Schwartz’s hair instead.
“Joseph!” Schwartz always has a dumb nickname at the ready.
“Ha!” Jo’s revenge-do succeeds in failing.
This look carries him into some kind of speed-dating swingers’ party, where he courts multiple women while Jo hates herself in the bathroom. The cast’s kryptonite is direct confrontation, but Jo chooses it anyway, and asks WTF is up with dating her for months, living with her, and professing love before going lady-shopping.
“Have you seen Seeking Sister Wife?” Schwartz asks. “How about From Couple to Throuple? That one is on Peacock, so…”
Jo tabulates that she’s been played by someone who speaks in moop-moop voice when he doesn’t want to be the bad guy, then feigns ignorance when the tears start falling. Schwartz stays in character, while she retreats to privately process her failed romance with someone who seemed so perfect when they were chicken-clucking gesturing and bleeping together over burritos.
With Jo on the ropes production is desperate for more awkward Katie and Schwartz time, so we’re asked to believe they’re pursuing the same romantic lede, which is so contrived it’s not worth acknowledging beyond this. Where Katie truly shines is when she’s forced to engage with Sandoval’s scripted faux-apology tour.
“I just wanted to say I’m really sorry—“
“Let me stop you right there,” Katie retorts, every single time.
What’s Lala up to? Nothing, but she has imported her entire extended family for an assist, while proceeding to plan a second child via sperm donation, so it can be “hers” exclusively. Since this isn’t gross enough, she invites all the ladies to weigh in on the potential donor at a party at Lisa’s pink palace, where everything tacky happens, and women instantly become girls.
“Who cares!” Lala toasts with sparkling water, which is like, her thing now that she needs a thing.
“We choose Kyle!” Ariana shouts, and somewhere on Love in Paradise Kyle pauses mid-crunch.
Meanwhile, James is thriving, after giving up drinking, getting a house with Ally, and celebrating a happy reunion with long-lost dog Graham aka Hippie. He’s booking big arenas and major dates with his DJ work, but on VPR his steady gigs still happen at SUR, and he’s forced to entertain opening for Sandoval’s karaoke cover band. Sandoval starts going off on a tangent about his heartbreak over Raquel’s false imprisonment at some deprogramming camp for troubled teens, but James shuts it down with reminders that for years he claimed to be fully in-love with Ariana, and his heartbreak should be assigned to the disintegration of that union — not the side piece.
“Go push buttons on a laptop,” Sandoval whines.
“In Vegas?” James is not going to suffer a self-esteem drop from a worm with a mustache.
Ally tries to sell herself as a reformed Swiftie and an aspiring astrologer, which is more believable than Rachel’s pageant lines about helping children, so go off. She smartly keeps her distance from Lala and Schaena, who spiral further down the jealousy toilet with each passing episode, as they scramble for reasons to welcome Sandoval back to the fray and gloss over their own historic hypocrisy.
Schaena and Lala bond over their lack of understanding about real estate law, and Ariana’s unwillingness to accept a low-ball buyout offer from someone who used her good credit to fund a bar and second mortgage. Sandoval insists he will buy her out, so Ariana’s lawyers say that’s fine, and true to form, Sandoval has none of the money for this, since he already squandered his mother’s retirement.
This is still somehow branded as Ariana being unreasonable, while LVP tut-tuts about a supposed mental health crisis Sandoval experienced while he was mocking other people’s mental health.
“I think it should be obvious I’m team misogyny by now,” LVP clucks, adrift without someone to infantilize.
If that wasn’t convincing enough, LVP shows up at the shell of a sandwich shop, and is disappointed that her forced relationship between Ariana and Katie and her grifter friend Penny isn’t working.
“Here’s all the delays we haven’t enjoyed while working with your recommended COO,” Katie isn’t dumb.
“We have her contract with our lawyers,” Ariana adds, because she’s really come to appreciate the role legal experts play in her life.
“But if you have lawyers, how will you trust someone else to profit from promoting your likeness?” LVP thinks it should be clear why she picked the Toms by now.
Contracts stipulate that Kyle Chan has to perpetually resurface on this series like herpes, and a planned store opening in San Francisco means it’s time to dust off the 25th version of “Good as Gold” for whoever wants to hear it. Sandoval is tapped to manage the logistics of this opening, which he’s eager to do, and volunteers the services of his sound guy.
“I’ve never done a sound check ever,” Schaena doesn’t have to say this, but does anyway.
This also creates another opening for Schaena to fully forget that Ariana’s breakup isn’t something that happened to her.
“You’re the only person who has always had my back from day one,” Schaena actually says to the guy who called her ridiculous for ever thinking they were friends.
Lala calls while Sandoval and Schaena are playing nice-nice, to make sure Sandy knows not to come to her 33rd birthday burlesque party.
“You’re only 33?” Sandoval’s as shocked as everyone at home.
“Whatever, eternal 40,” Lala counters.
“It’s PREVENTATIVE,” Schaena snaps from the tippity top of plastic surgery mountain.
The whole team is bound for San Francisco for Kyle Chan’s opening, and Brock wants to plan a “roaring twenties” party where everyone dresses like gangsters from the 30s. Ariana’s new boyfriend Dan also plans to attend, but before they board a flight with the riff raff they go out on a cute dinner where both seem genuinely smitten with each other. Dan’s got a firm NYC vibe, and stiffens when Ariana suggests relocation to the superficial capital of the country. He’s not keen, and all I see is an opportunity for an NYC-based show and future interaction between Ariana and the Summer House crew.
“How is it possible I haven’t been engaged to him yet?” Lindsey scans her instagram followers for any possible overlap.
Meanwhile, Sandoval readies to wow no one with his band-of-sorts, and the person writing the closed captions delivers by describing his bid at trumpet playing as *plays discordant notes*. James shows up to watch the gig, and Tom’s mom is already on deck, and stares at the stage like she’s captivated by her favorite televangelist and is going to be seized by the holy spirit, as soon as the lithium wears off.
“Yike,” Vy’s go-to line really works here.
Before the show is even over the venue scrambles to take his name off the marque, and Jo and Schwartz assemble outside to revisit their separation. Jo demonstrates the moves she learned at her latest improv class, and Schwartz asks to perform his one man wishy-washy act. Jo consents, and he says he feels weird with the distance between them, but wants their status as friends to be clear, but also doesn’t want to rule out getting married in eight years.
“See? That’s what I’m talking about,” protests Jo, who has too many receipts reflecting his habit of professing undying love and then taking it back.
Dan seems to know his presence on the show will inspire speculation that he’s a screen-chaser, so he opts out of a planned group boat outing in favor of working out and getting a massage. Everyone else heads to pier 39, where Lala uses her laser-sharp people reading skills to hone in on everything she overlooks in herself. Schwartz attempts to hold Katie’s hand for the first time in 15 years, and Katie tests the battery on her taser in case she needs to use it. Brock reminds everyone that Schaena recommended warm clothes but no one paid attention, so maybe folks should go on a spending spree at local shops before they board the SS Minnow for a three hour tour.
Schwartz tells Sandoval he’s been thinking about his proposal that they live together and collectively pay a $12K a month mortgage, and his mind is telling him no, but his body is telling him yeah.
“So I’m saying yes,” Schwartz announces, and Sandoval is super relieved he’s that much closer to still not being able to buy Ariana out.
On board the boat the weather starts getting tough, and the tiny ship is tossed, which ups the opportunity for a rogue wave to knock someone’s cell phone into the sea. All that build up has no delivery, but James does find the fire for a few random swings around a pole.
“Whee! I’m fun!” James is an army of one.
After the trip Sandoval dares the sea lions to attack, but they think they’ve already had their fill of microplastics, and some tragic twist of fate leaves Ariana trapped in conversation with Brock.
“Have you considered getting over your breakup for my wife’s benefit?” Holy shit Brock.
“So she can be buddies with the guy who screamed at her last week?” Ariana hasn’t sniffed glue since high school.
“Here’s a bland statement about forgiveness…” Brock says things.
“You don’t have to forgive anyone,” Ariana with the truth. “Gray rocking and going no contact is the only way to avoid manipulation. That’s me. I’m a grey rock.”
“I am the walrus!” a sea lion with an identity crisis retorts.
“I’m Schaena’s rock,” Brock tries. “And people have always said I’ve got rocks in my head, so I get it.”
“Not really,” Ariana’s familiar with how men on this show work. “I’m retired from diapering my man-baby. There’s power in female rage. And there never seems to be any issue with male rage.”
“Male rage whaaaa…” Brock’s sniffing glue habit is active, as the editors provide a little montage of all the mantrums that have tied the show together since this season’s premiere.
Brock derps away to get a haircut from the wrong era, and everyone gets ready for the historically inaccurate theme party, and Lala knocks on the door of Ariana’s room for a chance to spot Dan in a towel.
“I’m not mad,” Lala’s eyes keep going up and down, while Dan seems to immediately identify the bullshit before him.
Dan passes on the group dinner in favor of a private dinner with one of Ariana’s best friends, but he does iron all of Ariana’s clothes and lay them out for her, so Ann should know the personal assistant competition is heating up. It’s hard to tell if Dan is defensive about the coming interrogation, if he’s yucked out about sharing airspace with Sandoval, or if he just wants nothing to do with all of this.
“He (Sandoval) hasn’t done anything to me,” Dan explains. “But I know what he’s done.”
“I need to go before my lady-boner shows,” Lala excuses herself.
James splish splashes balls-deep in the bathtub with a rubber duck, while Ally tries to puzzle out Dan’s reluctance to attend dinner.
“Have you met us?” James asks, before humming a few bars of Rubber Ducky. “He might not even be able to stand being in the room with Sandoval. And not just because of the smell. Did you hear he’s moving in with his loser best friend so they can go nowhere together? Swan dive into bubbles!”
Everyone arrives at a bar or something, with James looking Peaky Blinders, Schwartz in a brown suit with snaps down the sides, Lala playing flapper, and Brock looking like a bouncer at a Berlin sex club. Someone notes Ariana and Sandoval wear similar shoes, and Ariana seems hypnotized by her phone as a means of avoiding looking up for too long.
Wing-woman Katie is ever at the ready, so she and Ariana take in the view until Schwartz saunters over to announce they look like a duo.
“We’re the new Tom-Tom,” Katie smirks.
Schwartz admits he’s still subservient, and is eager to hit on his ex-wife.
“You like me again,” he tries.
“No I don’t,” Katie retorts.
Schwartz goes on to propose a one-night stand of binge-eating snack food and scrolling in silence, but Katie isn’t nostalgic for her mistakes. She thinks in a few years Schwartz will brand her the one who got away, and she’s going to stay away just to make sure that happens.
Schaena finds a secluded spot to go outside with Sandoval to talk logistics, while Ariana paces alone, texting Dan that she’s got leftovers for him. He responds he’s stuffed and a little drunk, and his pushing away is getting distracting. Sandoval insists to Schaena that he feels good about Dan’s presence, because that way someone is there for Ariana. Schaena tries to get him to apologize for weaponizing her mental health, and Sandy admits that he does feel bad about that, and this almost seems sincere, so they indulge in an extended hug.
“I helped Ariana clean her house too,” Schaena reminds everyone at home, just in case we were landing too hard on her being awful.
“Oh, I’m still just here to rage bait,” Lala interjects, eager to resume instigation duties once her sparkling water hangover subsides.

I was infected in April 2024 in Thailand after unprotected sex.

Believing it was gonorrhea (identical symptoms) I took azithromycin. 1 mg in 4 capsules (4x250mg) the first day then 500 mg (2x250mg) per day for 4 days. Small temporary improvement but still the symptoms are present (burning sensation when urinating, whitish discharge from my penis, internal tingling and external redness, small rise in fever approximately every 3 days).
Thinking of gonorrhea, the doctor prescribed an intramuscular injection of CEFTRIAXONE 1g in the buttock: no improvement.
Sampling the discharge from the surface of the urethra (not inside) in the laboratory to determine the bacteria. Sample taken in the morning before urinating: by squeezing my penis so that the whitish discharge comes out.

Analysis result: Mycoplasma genitalium with A2058G mutation

This mutation explains the resistance to the antibiotic.
The doctor prescribed me moxifloxacin (400 mg per day for a week) but I decided not to take it because the overuse of antibiotics disrupts the microbiota and has significant side effects). In other parts I read that bacteria adapt to antibiotic medications but cannot adapt to certain antibacterial essential oils. Since essential oils have different complex components that bacteria cannot overcome. After numerous conferences on the subject (internet and books) I decided to take on the challenge of putting my conferences to work in order to see if they were true.

Here is the detail of the synergy that allowed me to eradicate this bacteria:

One week before treatment: use of garlic powder in capsules. 4 capsules per day: total dosage for the 4 capsules: 1200mg of organic garlic bulb powder (sulphites).
Contraindications noted on the box of this food supplement : Not recommended for people on anticoagulant treatment.
Garlic is a sulfur compound capable of undermining the communication of bacteria with each other. In other words, garlic will not eradicate the bacteria but it will prevent it from proliferating by scrambling their communication system. I finally felt a positive effect because the discharge of pus stopped. The burning sensation when urinating has not disappeared but it has significantly reduced.
This treatment will allow the essential oils to act more effectively.

1. Synergy that I used internally orally (in capsule form) especially not pure :

I used a 10 ml bottle:
Thyme essential oil with organic thymol (hepatotoxic): 12 drops
Organic compact oregano essential oil (hepatotoxic): 12 drops
Organic Lemon essential oil: 12 drops (protects the liver)
Organic Rosemary verbenone essential oil: 12 drops (protects the liver)
Organic Ceylon Cinnamon (bark) essential oil: 12 drops
Organic Tea Tree essential oil: 12 drops
Organic clove essential oil: 12 drops
Organic Nigella (black cumin) vegetable oil: 126 drops
I filled this synergy in empty capsules (purchased on the internet) of size 0 which can contain 13 drops (0.5 ml). Be careful not to absorb these essential oils directly without a capsule because some of these oils are very irritating to the skin and even more so to the mucous membranes. The bottle will be empty before the end of the treatment, the synergy will have to be redone once the bottle is emptied to complete the 7 days
1ST day: 6 capsules to be spread over the day.
2nd day: 6 capsules to be spread over the day.
3rd day: 6 capsules to be spread over the day.
4th day: 5 capsules to be spread over the day.
5th day: 5 capsules to be spread over the day.
6th day: 4 capsules to be spread over the day.
7th day: 4 capsules to be spread over the day.

2. Synergy that I used externally (to massage on the lower abdomen morning and evening). To be done at the same time as the synergy by oral voice.

Organic Ceylon Cinnamon (bark) essential oil: 3 drops
Organic clove essential oil: 3 drops
Organic compact Oregano essential oil: 3 drops
Organic Nigella (black cumin) vegetable oil: 3 large spoons
For my part, it was only from the 4th day that I felt the effects of the bacteria disappear, but however it is important to continue until the 7th day of treatment.

Recently I got written up at work for being “rude” to customers. For reference I’m 20F and I am a cashier at a newly opened grocery store near me. I got hired on the spot when I was interviewed because I have cashier experience and I’m pretty nice. I am always extremely nice when working and always have a smile on my face and even when customers are rude to me or making things hard I still smile. However in the last two weeks I have had 2 negative complaints against me for things that to me didn’t feel rude at all. I don’t know if this is due to my autism but I make jokes or do things that I find funny or nice that these customers perceived as rude. The first customer who complained was a young woman who was already upset with me because in her opinion I didn’t tell her the restroom code but I didn’t even know we had a restroom code when she asked me where the bathroom was, we had just gotten a code the day before so I didn’t even know we had one when she asked. After the bathroom she came to my line and I rung her up. Based on my memory is was a pleasant interaction and I was smiling and laughing with her the entire time. At the end I recommended she do our survey and fill it out for me. She told me she was going to fill it out for our sample girl who already has 40ish surveys because she walks people through the surveys. I made a joke about her having a lot of surveys and I need one. It was a joke and I didn’t intend to come across as rude but the customers said I was extremely rude and that I was offensive? The second customer was an older woman who was talking to the lady n line behind her basically the entire interaction. I attempted to talk but I was afraid if I interrupted their conversation it would come across as rude. Her and the lady behind her didn’t separate their groceries so I started ringing up the other ladies groceries and they basically got mad at me for it when they didn’t separate them? So I had to go back through and delete them but the whole time I just said it was okay and wasn’t a problem at all. They continued talking to each other and then one of my superiors came over to collect money from my register so she sat there and waited for me to be done. They then started talking to her thinking she was a manager and wanted the corporate number. Again I didn’t want to interrupt this conversation so I continued to do my job and didn’t interrupt. Eventually I was done with the First Ladies groceries and I grabbed her receipt. I thought she was with the lady behind her so I normally say good bye to people like this when both their transactions are done so both customers get attention. I perceived this wrong apparently because she wasn’t with the lady behind her and she left before I could say good bye. She then called my job as soon as she got home to say I was rude and ruined her experience. My managers then said when they went over the footage of the interaction that I looked “not in it” when it reality I often stand there in the Same posture always because I tend to stim by rocking back and forth when I work. I tried to explain my reasoning behind not talking and that I felt it would be rude by interrupting but now I feel my judgment is possibly screwed due to my autism and my social skills not being amazing. I am a good cashier and I am always always nice so I don’t understand why my managers didn’t believe me when I said I was just trying to avoid being rude. None of them listen to me. It’s very difficult because I do things based on my judgement of believing what’s nice and not nice but now I feel I may not be correct. :(
