J'ai besoin d'idées pour chercher une location. J'en peux plus. Ça fait 5 mois non stop que mon conjoint et moi cherchons une location en Bretagne. Nous devons quitter notre logement mi-juin à cause de ce foutu bail mobilité qui pulule partout en France (louer pendant 10mois puis louer à la semaine l'été) mais rien n'y fait, on arrive pas à trouver.
Faut dire que malheureusement, on a un peu trop de critères pour un couple dont une personne travaille et l'autre est au chômage. Nous avons deux enfants + un bébé à naître donc T4 obligé + jardin ou terrasse pour le toutou + limité à une ville à cause de mon manque de mobilité et la proximité avec l'école des enfants. Le pire c'est qu'on trouve, mais soit des gens se sont précipités avant nous, soit nos salaires ne correspondent pas à trois fois le loyer et ce, pendant 5 mois. Résultats, j'ai peur d'être littéralement mise à la rue alors que je suis enceinte et mon compagnon également privé de voir ses enfants.
Donc on a rdv avec une élue de la ville en fin de mois, sauf que c'est proche de la date limite, on aimerait idéalement trouver avant. On a fait un dossier complet pour un hlm mais bien évidemment, on aura pas de réponses avant qu'on se fasse expulser. Je commence à être à court d'idées, on est complètement désespéré.
Est-ce qu'on a épuisé toutes nos cartes ? Y-a-t-il d'autres recours qu'on puisse faire pour se sortir de ce pétrin ? Je prends toutes les réponses, même les trolls.

Bu sebeple de zaten daha çok Dresswatch ilgim var. Diver saatleri ise görece kaba ve/veya sıkıcı buluyorum. Saatlere olan ilgim sonucunda genelde hemen tüm saatlerim dresswatch ve benzeri saatler. Örneğin Vintage Omega, Zenith, Oris, güncel olarak Omega AT, Railmaster, Longines Flagship Heritage, Seiko 5 SNXS73 gibi saatlerim var. Bu saatler bildiğiniz üzere gayet düz, en fazla sub second ya da day date komplikasyonları olan günlük ya da Dress watch kategorisinden saatler. Bunların yanında spor ya da maceralı durumlar için de çocukken aldığım bir Swatch Irony ve Casio A168WA modellerine de sahibim. Nomos öncelikle çok dressy bir saat. Endonezya'nın sıcağı ve neminde 6 ayda bir kayış değiştirmem gerekirdi. Highlife ise iş için güzel ancak tatiller için yine fazla dressy kalıyordu. Ayrıca tatillerde de kullanmalık bir saat olacağından bu fiyatlara çıkmak ne denli mantıklı, onu da düşünüyordum. Zira Shanghai’da, Tokyo’da lüks AVM’lerde, ofislerde iş görürler ancak Jakarta’da, Bangkok’ta da tam tersine başa bela olabilir. Sonra bir butikte denedim ve ilk görüşte aşk gibi oldu 😃 Retro tasarımı çarptı beni öncelikle. Koluma da tam oldu. Biraz daha araştırayım deyip uzaklaştım. Sonra microbrand'lerden de Farer yeni worldtimer'larını tanıttı. Yeşil olan Foxe modelini çok beğendim. Ancak butiği olmadığından deneyemedim tabii. Sonra biraz daha bakınıp Mido'da karar kıldım. Almanya'dan zaman zaman alışveriş yaptığım bayim Brogle ile iletişime geçtim. Bana bir miktar indirim de yaptılar ki bu model geçen sene tanıtıldı ve çoğu yerde stokta kalmadı. Japonya'daki grey marketcilerde dahi %10 indirim almak zor görünüyor. Ayrıca yine ilk servisi hediye edip +1 yıl da garanti verdi Brogle bana. Bir de üstüne engraving yaptırdım. İlk kez bir saatime bu işlemi yaptırmış oldum ancak oldukça beğendim. Güzel bir anı oldu. 😊 Saate gelecek olursam ilk olarak kutusu büyükçe ancak oldukça şık. Ne aşırı gösterişli ne de ucuz bir karton kutu. Sunum gayet güzel. İçerisinden uluslararası garanti kartı ve içinde Türkçe de olan kitapçığı çıkıyor. Türkiye'de resmi distribütörü olmadığı halde bu detay çok güzel olmuş bence. Ancak kitapçık oldukça basit bir şey. Saat tamamen polisajlı çelik kasa ile geliyor. Bu kolay çizilir hale getiriyor kendisini ancak buna çok takılmıyorum açıkçası. Serviste tamiri en kolay olan şey parlak polisaj çünkü. Kasa 40.5mm yarıçapta, 13.5mm kalınlıkta ve 47mm lug-to-lug uzunluğunda. Lug açıklığı ise 21mm. Bunun 20mm olmasını isterdim açıkçası. Sonradan kayış açısından çok avantajlı olurdu. Saat iki adet kolay tak-çıkar özellikli kayışla geliyor. Birisi rubber diğeri mesh bilezik. İkisi de fiyat segmentinin çok üstünde kalitede kayışlar. Bu beni oldukça şaşırtmıştı denediğimde. Ayrıca lug'da kayış için iki adet delik var ve kayışın yüksekliğine göre ayar yapmanıza olanak sağlıyor. Küçük ama hoş bir detay. Saatin arka kapağı Ocean Star serisinden olduğunu belirtir şekilde Mido'nun deniz yıldızı logosu kabartması var. Ben açıkçası bu seviye saatlerde bu tarz kapakları daha çok seviyorum zira sonuç olarak içindeki mekanizma bir Glashütte, Breguet ya da Patek değil ki arada izleyesin. Bu kapak bence her anlamda daha şık bu nedenle. Ayrıca vidalı tepe de var bir Diver saat olduğundan ve 20bar (200m) su geçirmezlik sunuyor. Saatin camı safir cam, bezel ise alüminyum. Elbette seramik olsun isterdim ancak zaten bu fiyata bir İsviçreli GMT almak zorken beklentiyi bu kadar yükseltmemek gerekiyor. Yine de seramik olsaydı da 200 Euro daha fazla olsaydı diye düşündüm. Bezelde dünya saatleri var ve worldtimer olarak kullanılabiliyor. Duygusal olarak orada Istanbul yazması da çok hoşuma giden bir detay. Saatteki logolar Mido'nun eski logosu ve bu retro tasarımı tamamlıyor. İçindeki mekanizma ETA 2824'ün güncel bir hali. Lakin giriş seviye Tissot'lardaki gibi içinde plastik parçalar bulunandan değil. Ayrıca Nivachron da var ve bu sebeple antimanyetik ve antişok özellikleri var. Gerçek bir GMT saat, yani saat göstergesi birer saat atlayarak gidebiliyor ayar yaparken. Ayrıca hacking second da var elbette. Yine istenirse elle kurma özelliği de sunuyor. Saatin çalışma frekansı 3hz'e düşürülmüş yani 21600 vuruşlu. Orijinalinde 4hz 28800 vuruşlu olan bu makinenin bu versiyonunda saniye 4hz olanlar kadar smooth gitmiyor. Ancak bunun getirisi olarak 80 saat güç rezervi var. Bence rezerv bu anlamda daha önemli. Günlük ortalama 6-7 sn artıda çalışıyor. Bu da benim için gayet yeterli bir oran. Saat içinde ayrıca bir de decompression timer göstergesi var. Görsel açıdan çok güzel, harika renklere sahip bence. Özetle dalışta yukarı çıkarken vurgun yememek için hangi metrede kaç dakika beklemek gerektiğini hesaplamanıza yarayan bir özellik. Son olarak tarih göstergesi de mevcut. Bence bu tarih penceresi de çok şık ancak beyaz fon yerine kadranla uyumlu bir renk seçilse daha güzel olabilirmiş. Burada ucuza kaçılmış. Saat genel olarak böyle. Sanıyorum artık saat olarak hemen her istediğim saate ulaştım. Bundan sonra istediğim tek bir komplikasyon kaldı o da moonphase’i de olan complete calendar bir saat. Onlarda da big date'leri çok beğeniyorum. Bir Glashütte Original Panoramadatum'u kendime emeklilik hediyesi olarak verip saat olayını kapatma düşüncesindeyim. Ancak zaman ne gösterir bilemiyorum. My main focus has been doing B.Tech. in AIML. With my MET(1st phase) score being 70 and 91% being the overall percentage in ISC (93.25% if i exclude chem <- idk if that’s relevant or not), i am getting to hear from others that i can “hopefully” pull off same branch in Manipal University Jaipur. And with my 42k rank in VITEEE i can “probably” get Electronics and Communication in main campus (cat. 4 or 5). But the main problem here is that i got an offer letter from Shiv Nadar University that i got selected for provisional admission in pursuing Electrical and Computer Engineering which is only valid till 30th of May, before that i need to pay them a good amount of money. Now i am just blank kyuki SNU ka toh admission 100% pakka hain but its branch seems kinda risky to me (like handle kar payunga ki nahi) but dusre haath mein VIT aur Manipal ke branches toh June mein finalise honge, tab tak toh wo provisional admission ka date bhi nikal jayega :((….just want anyone to guide me in the slightest way possible. Upar se SNU ko sab praise kar rahe hain aur wahi MUJ ko sab gaali de rahe hain- ye baat bhi mujhe doubt mein chhor raha hain ki “will MUJ be worth it?”

un ami a réalisé une prestation dans une école privée certifiée Qualiopi (pôle emploi) il y a 63 jours exactement et la facture qu'il leur a envoyée n'a toujours pas été soldée. Il avait déjà fait une prestation là bas il y a un an et demi, ils avaient déjà mis quasiment un an à le payer. Mais en 5 ans de venues régulière, il a toujours fini par être payé.
Aujourd'hui en situation financière un peu délicate il a vraiment besoin d'être payé au plus vite et malgré plusieurs relances écrites et téléphoniques, l'école ne répond carrément pas.
Même si les relations ont été relativement cordiales jusque là on pensait majorer la facture au taux légal.
Première question: si je me fie à ceci https://entreprendre.service-public.fvosdroits/F23211 le tôt minimum est d'environ 15.5% c'est bien ça ?
Deuxième question: comment les inciter à payer sans avoir recours tout de suite à un.e huissier.e ou un.e avocat.e (€€€) ? Quels articles citer pour leur mettre un peu la pression ?
Troisième question: Y'a t il un service juridique gratuit et relativement facilement accessible auquel on peut s'adresser pour assurer une médiation ? Il est sur Marseille, on a déjà chercher à prendre rdv en ligne avec les avocats pro bono du Barreau de Marseille mais il semble qu'ils n'aient aucune date disponible.

Pecetea bestiei poate fi definită din două puncte de vedere spiritul și fizic.  | I feel embarrassed that I've been playing Limbus Company for 2~ weeks and only now I found that he's based on Albert Camus' L'Etranger, one of my favorite novels of all time (I'm native Taiwanese and more familiar with the Chinese translation, therefore I forgot how to spell Meursault in English/French smh). submitted by johnruby to limbuscompany [link] [comments] I know LCB Sinners are only loosely based on the source literature, but I really like both Meursault's characters in the game and in the source, and through this post I want to provide my preliminary speculations of Meursault's in-game story from a more source material oriented perspective. ____ Plot SummaryIf you're interested in the novel's plot, here's a previous post summarizing the general storyline. But in short, the novel is entirely narrated from the main character Meursault's perspective, who only speaks in an extremely descriptive and indifferent manner (just like LCB Meursault). His mother passed away at the begining of the story and he couldn't even confidently specify the date of her mother's death, hence the world-famous opening line "Mom died today. Or perhaps yesterday, I do not know."Later in the story, under the overwhelming heat from the sun, Meursault ── quite inexplainably ── shot an Arab to death on the beach with a revolver, and got incarcerated for a year prior to trial. His seemingly indifferent and atheistic attitude towards his crime and defense infuriated the prosecutor, and ended up causing him to be sentenced to death. Before execution, a chaplain visited his cell and asked him to abandon atheism and apathy, to which Meursault furiously refuted that people are all condemned to die one day, so nothing ultimately matters, which is the first time (iirc) Meursault displays any significant amount of human emotion. The novel ends with Meursault alone in his cell, contemplating his imminent death and opening his heart "to the benign indifference of the universe". visibly confused So, that's the gist of the novel. "What a weird and somewhat perplexing story" you might say. It's natural for you to want to follow up with the question: "What is the story truly about?" ____ Philosophical ContextL'Etranger is a very philosophy-oriented story, which means it's more intended to assert a philosophical standpoint or raise a philosophical question rather than trying to be intriguing, entertaining, or straightforward. I'd say Meursault's character is key to understand the novel. He seems weird because the author is not trying to make him realistic or relatable (which doesn't mean he's impossible to relate to, though; I find myself often agreeing with his reasoning throughout the story). He is basically a tool or device, embodying and presenting Camus' absurdism philosophy.So, what is absurdism? It's a school of thought orignated from existentialism. Existentialism is a broad term used to describe various philosophies that explore the issues caused by human's existence in the universe, such as meaning, purpose, value, free will, and the ramifications of their absence, while absurdism is more laser focusing on the issues dervied from "absurd". "Absurd" refers to the uncomfortable situation in which humans try to find (often futilely) meaning in a meaningless world, reason with an irrational world, plead against an indifferent word, etc. Due to the conflicting nature of the relationship between humans and the external world, absurdism claims that the entirety of human existence is "absurd" ── It makes no sense and feels hopeless and paralyzing. Absurdism is essentially people trying to figure out how to deal with such an awkward situation. At one point, Camus even seriously discussed if suicide is a legitimate solution for the absurdity of human life (tldr: it's NOT. Don't try it at home.) in his othoer book Le Mythe de Sisyphe, and Sysyphis futilely rolling a boulder up a hill only for it to roll back down in eternilty subsequently becomes the most well-known symbol for absurdism. Back to Meursault. He is basically a thought experiment by Camus, attempting to answer the question: "What if a person is fully aware of the absurdity of human existence? What kind of person he/she will become?" The result is a man who seems apathetic towards human emotion and societal rules, who feels like a stranger (hence the title) in the world. However, deep down he is brutally honest to both himself and others, is perceptive and even somewhat passionate about nature, and is constantly suffering from his acute awareness of absurdity, but will never cover up or trade away this suffering with a lie. It's worth noting that, from Camus' perspective, Meursault is not the only possible result of a man directly staring into the abyss of absurdity. In his other fantastic work Caligula (minor spoiler ahead!), the main character Caligula is fully committed to fighting aganist the absurdity, and ends up spiraling into madness. Meursault is way more passive and submissive than Caligula, but the starting points of their reasoning are surprisingly similiar: the conlict between humans and the inhuman universe is irreconcilable, and the most important thing in our life is how to continue living happily and fulfilling despite the paradoxical nature of human existence. Also btw, both stories start with (or are triggered by) the death of a close family member: Meursault's mother, and Caligula's sister and lover. If you're interested in further exploring the concept of absurdity, I'd highly recommend giving Jean-Paul Satre's novel La Nausée a read. This existentialist philosophical novel also presents its main character more as a presentation device than a conventionally engaging protagonist. It's bascially the main character's diary and random thoughts and can hardly be described as a well-structured story. But that's the point: humans crave to be a story character in a world deprived of any storyline. Every time the main character is struck by the feeling of absurdity, he often feels irresistible nausea (hence the title). Chains of Others Interestingly, Satre's philosophy may also be relevant in terms of in-game Meursault. Meursault's basic EGO is called "Chains of Others", and its passive is called "Refusal to Judge", which is likely a reference to Satre's world-famous quote from his play Huis clos: "Hell is other people." To be clear, Satre is not saying that other people are always adversaries or hellish. Instead he meant that people become frozen after death, unable any longer to fend off other people's interpretation and judgement. In life, we can still do something to manage the impression we make; but in death, we're left entombed in other people's memories and perceptions. This may imply that Meursault feels powerless against the gaze and judgements of others, which could be his main obstacle to overcome during his future Canto before moving forward. ____ SpeculationsSo, that's all the literary context I'd like to provide here. What can we speculate about in-game Meursault from these source materials?Tbh, I don't think PM will incorporate many philosophical elements into Meursault's backstory, becasue it'd be difficult to make him engaging and accessible to a broader audience. Here's the list of speculations I made based on (very loosely) the source literature mentioned above:
____ Overall, I feel that in-game Meursault has less autonomy than the novel version, and was definitely way more traumatized by certain undisclosed events in his past (which seems like the common trait of all Sinners). But both of their worldviews in general could be similar. They both seem aware of the dread of the inescapable silence and indiffernece inherent in the outside universe. But in-novel Meursault had already disenchanted all the illusions of meaning at the begining of the novel, while in-game Meursault seems to still be struggling to find something to grasp onto, to anchor his purposeless and directionless life. ____ Thank you for the patience reading this long post! Bonjour, j’ai (H17) comme elle (f17) et comment dire, notre relation est assez compliquée du fait de plusieurs choses. Déjà commençons par le commencement, nous nous connaissons depuis la 5eme mais on a réellement commencé à beaucoup ce parler en 4eme (des nuits entières, presque tous les jours, ce qui est d’ailleurs tjr notre rythme quand nous nous parlons) ce qui a fait que j’ai commencé à développer certains sentiments amoureux envers elle. Nous avons matché ensemble extrêmement rapidement et nous avons une sorte de connexion extrêmement forte. Ayant une confiance un mois proche de 0 j’ai mis beaucoup de temps à lui avouer (je lui ai dit début seconde après une petite sortie tous les deux (ce qui était la première fois tout court)). Elle m’a avoué aussi avoir des sentiments pour moi depuis très longtemps aussi et qu’elle était très heureuse que je réponde enfin à ces signaux.
Cependant elle c’était mise en couple, le jour où je lui est dit elle m’a avouait aussi que j’était en gros son « vrai amour » et qu’elle aller faire ce qu’il fallait faire pour nous (je lui est dit que je comprenais que c’était dur je ne les pas forcer et je n’est rien dit à ce sujet sauf qu’elle aurais tjr mon soutient si elle avait besoin dans cette épreuve).
(Info importante son mec habite à Lille dcp il ce voit pendant 1 semaine chaque vacances scolaires) Un voyage était prévu pendant les vacances ce qui évidemment m’a inquiété mais elle me rassurait. La semaine venu et en revenant elle n’était plus là même quand partant. Elle est devenu plutôt distante (ce qui n’est littéralement jamais arrivé avant) jusqu’à ce qu’elle me dise plutôt froidement qu’on arrête de ce parler. J’accepte amèrement sans faire d’histoire car j’avais déjà « accepté » le fais de la perde le jour où je lui avait dit « je t’aime ».
Normalement une histoire normale ce serai finit la mais pas dans celle là.
Un mois plus tard je reçois un message d’elle, disant qu’elle pense tjr à moi, que je lui manque, qu’elle doute et qu’elle a besoin de moi car j’occupe sait penser. Je suis heureux, je commence à lui parler comme avant puis rebelote, vacances, voyage, reviens différente. Elle me laisse

Cela fait 2 semaine que j’ai proposé qu’on ce voit sachant que (étant dans 2 établissement séparer) nos edt sont vrm différents) et que la semaine que j’ai proposé ne peut être que elle avant 6 semaines d’affilée et qu’elle correspond parfaitement pour ce voir et parler tranquillement, elle ne sait pas trop, évidemment je pense au pire, mais elle me rassure (en étant honnête cela ne change pas grand chose à ma peur).

I... dont really know where to begin, so I'll start with background. I've had flings in the past, but this is my first long time relationship. To be 5 years this August. We live in california.
Tldr: I recieved a phone call after having just seen her the previous day asking to talk, essentially during this reasons boiled down to
"Everything, the long distance, and (i, 29m) dont have initiative" "(i've, 29m) been talking about becoming an electrician, but havent done anything about it"
Back story.
I (29m) have supported my partner (29f) in their passion for Renaissance Faire for the entire time we had been together. She treats this as her livlihood. Has been clear about this, but I had no qualms. Her income is padded from her father at 1000$ a month, a vestige of an agreement to earn a degree (which she still has not, and has not been in school since before we began dating)
I have voiced wishing to become an electrician, i love working with my hands, and circuitry is enthralling. I have known people in the field, who have helped me get interviews and attempt entry level positions but each time have been told, the slot was filled before onboarding trully happened for me. Student loans kinda terrify me cause of debt, the trade schools i've found in cali be expensive. Most of my savings before hand went to assisting my grandma with issues that were taken care of.
We both talked about how neither of us was fully in the career we wanted, and how we wanted to see the other grow into it.
When we got together, @24 years old, i was an assistant manager in a deli, after multiple instances of being passed for applied promotions and training those who recieved those promotions.... I had enough. This was only the first year of our relationship
I got a job at a Hyatt Hotels, becoming a front end (lobby) manager. Hyatt at the time had excellent student programs and loan rates, which fizzled when the location franchised, and we lost a majority of benefits. Found a new job
I've been at a shipping company that works out of a single location for a tech company, Juniper networks. Have DOT driving certs, and multiple forklift certs. Mon-fri 9-5, making good money (close to 30/hr) feel ALOT more comfortable with loans now. Have more time that i can set aside for things. This was the last barely two years, my annual was literally a week ago.
The primary reason i havent begun said process of loans is the amount i have been trying to support her in her passion and stay connected. But even with that I was beginning to figure out times for school.
She had begun with 1 faire, then two, then some smaller ones. Trying out different Faires at different times. Just this year attempting all of them.
She has progressively added more and more faires, to the point where she we will not be at home .... 9 months? Of this year. 3 months roughly each faire, back to back at times. One faire is out of state, all the rest are driveable easy.
I say roughly as all the faires dates are up for debate, between the build, run, and teardown, there is variance of up to several weeks. Making planning outside of Faire difficult. I find out these dates through her, but with very little time in between to plan anything

I purchased essentially her entire camp, carport, cots, portable matress (trifold queen), tents, tables, stove, etc.
I drove her throughout our relationship, not just to and from Faire, literally everything. She has refused to get a drivers license out of fear. I have mobilized her supplies and camp.
We talked frequently, enjoyed shows, board games, we started heading to amusement parks, (she loves rollercoasters), we would go dancing while she was home, build lego display sets, like i could keep on going.
The last couple times shes come home from Faire, things have felt off. Like i have to reconnect with her at home. When i visit has seemed like either shes masking for me, or at faire.
She started getting too tired to do anything in between the Faires, and would refuse my assistance to get ready. Which was basically laundry and maintenance for camp things.
Sometimes these last couple months i would respond with the energy i recieved. Im human. I dont really know what else to say for that. We would talk about it Then things would go back to how they were.... for a time
Ill admit i have resting grumpy face, and on occaision am grumpy. But I never took it out on her. We had arguments, but never anything that lasted or made us truly angry. Sometimes i would say i need some alone time, just to cool off. But that never lasted for more than an hour or two.
When we began dating, she asked me bring my tone down a bit. Kinda made me realize unintended inflections.
Again these last couple months, she hasnt been rude, nor abusive... just sharp... to the point i feel like i have to apologize for ideas or actions. I brought this up, and things got better.... for a bit
I have dropped the ball on occaision with cleaning around the house, and she brought it up when they happened, but it honestly went both ways.
She ruled over laundry, i ruled over dishes, we'd help each other wipe down surfaces and vacuum. We have cats, and took turns cleaning litter.
We'd helped each other cook, but unless I laid very clear intentions i wanted to cook for her, she'd take over. She preferred cooking, saying "ocd"
Her love languages is much more touch oriented than mime are.
I have never claimed to be fast at anything. In fact literally have compared myself to the Tortoise, from tortoise and the hare. And feel very judged on it all of a sudden.
Looking back... maybe I could have initiated more... but as i began to do so more and more this last year together, i was met with more and more, "tired" or "faire".
I just... feel like a wrung out rag..... and ... i dont know... Used?
She mentioned it not being fair to either of us... just making me wonder if this might actually be better off...

Tldr: I recieved a phone call after having just seen her the previous day asking to talk, essentially during this reasons boiled down to
"Everything, the long distance, and (i, 29m) dont have initiative" "(i've, 29m) been talking about becoming an electrician, but havent done anything about it"
Back story.
I (29m) have supported my partner (29f) in their passion for Renaissance Faire for the entire time we had been together. She treats this as her livlihood. Has been clear about this, but I had no qualms. Her income is padded from her father at 1000$ a month, a vestige of an agreement to earn a degree (which she still has not, and has not been in school since before we began dating)
I have voiced wishing to become an electrician, i love working with my hands, and circuitry is enthralling. I have known people in the field, who have helped me get interviews and attempt entry level positions but each time have been told, the slot was filled before onboarding trully happened for me. Student loans kinda terrify me cause of debt, the trade schools i've found in cali be expensive. Most of my savings before hand went to assisting my grandma with issues that were taken care of.
We both talked about how neither of us was fully in the career we wanted, and how we wanted to see the other grow into it.
When we got together, @24 years old, i was an assistant manager in a deli, after multiple instances of being passed for applied promotions and training those who recieved those promotions.... I had enough. This was only the first year of our relationship
I got a job at a Hyatt Hotels, becoming a front end (lobby) manager. Hyatt at the time had excellent student programs and loan rates, which fizzled when the location franchised, and we lost a majority of benefits. Found a new job
I've been at a shipping company that works out of a single location for a tech company, Juniper networks. Have DOT driving certs, and multiple forklift certs. Mon-fri 9-5, making good money (close to 30/hr) feel ALOT more comfortable with loans now. Have more time that i can set aside for things. This was the last barely two years, my annual was literally a week ago.
The primary reason i havent begun said process of loans is the amount i have been trying to support her in her passion and stay connected. But even with that I was beginning to figure out times for school.
She had begun with 1 faire, then two, then some smaller ones. Trying out different Faires at different times. Just this year attempting all of them.
She has progressively added more and more faires, to the point where she we will not be at home .... 9 months? Of this year. 3 months roughly each faire, back to back at times. One faire is out of state, all the rest are driveable easy.
I say roughly as all the faires dates are up for debate, between the build, run, and teardown, there is variance of up to several weeks. Making planning outside of Faire difficult. I find out these dates through her, but with very little time in between to plan anything

The following is my ideal start to the sequel. I apologize in advance for the parentheses.
The MC is awakened by a knock at the door.
Either Amit, Poppy, or Gareth (depending on the MC's house) enter the room, saying something along the lines of
"Sorry, I didn't wake you did I?"
We discover that the MC has been staying at one of the above characters' houses for Summer Break, due to the MC being an orphan (set up MC backstory).
The MC and other character go downstairs for breakfast with the other character's family. (A lot of this takes inspiration from Harry's time at the Burrow) An owl arrives with a letter for school supplies.
It is decided that they will all go to Diagon Alley the next day. However, first things first- house chores!
Depending on the house of the MC, the chores will vary. I even imagine de-gnoming could be a possibility if with the Weasleys.
After completion of the chores, the player is given the option to explore the house and yard before ending the day. The next morning the player and family go to Diagon Alley via Flu Powder. The player is free to explore Diagon Alley, including Gringotts, where they may set up an account. There will also be an option to buy a broom and/or a wand, each with varying potentials (speed, power, etc.) However, the funds will be limited, so choices will have to be made. There will be some unique products available for purchase in Diagon Alley, which the player may have a second chance to buy during the Winter break, when they will have the option to stay at the Leaky Cauldron or at an empty Hogwarts, each with their own possible benefit.
Upon returning to the house from Diagon Alley, a bit of fun begins.
Depending on which house the MC is staying at, this bit will differ.
If staying with the Weasleys, MC will play a 2-on-2 quidditch game (with just a quaffle, I believe)
If staying with Amit, perhaps a flight to a nearby hill for some star gazing.
If staying with Poppy...maybe like following unicorn tracks, ending in a unicorn ride through the woods??
Alas, thus the fun ends and it is time to prepare for the next day's journey to Hogwarts.
(It would be cool if each family had a different way to get to Kings Cross- broom flight, portkey, floo powder? This could also be a quest in itself)
The MC walks through platform 9 3/4 and gets the opportunity to wander around briefly, before the train whistle and a voice warns of its nearing departure.
The MC, along with the other character, boards the Hogwarts Express. After checking around various compartments and perhaps getting refused by some antagonizing students, the MC finds an open compartment to sit in. After a brief conversation and perhaps some new character introductions, the MC gets the chance to buy some things from the trolley and can wonder around the train. There could be some sort of quest (finding a student's lost belonging? Stopping some older students from bullying anxious first years?) before the train begins its approach to Hogsmeade Station (Ideally the player could control how long or short the train ride lasts).
The students exit the train and the camera might show a mysterious hooded figure watching from a bench on the other platform. We might get a cut scene of the carriages trek to the school (and in said process, we might see/hear a glimpse of something worrisome through the trees.) We enter the great hall for the sorting ceremony. We watch the ceremony and notice something unusual with one of the students (perhaps something sinister even--random thought, what if the student were actually a powerful dark wizard who had used the polyjuice potion to take on the appearance of a student in order to infiltrate Hogwarts), like the hat announcing the student's house before the student even sits down (eg. Draco). This student may or may not be a potential antagonist.
We get the chance to converse with just about all of our housemates, with more lengthy conversations with students in our own year. (Along with the train ride, this is an opportunity for relationship building) We also get to eat the variety of foods that have appeared on the table. We then get some school announcements from the headmaster, including but not limited to the try out dates for Quidditch. After the announcements, the feast is brought to a close, and house prefects guide the first years to their respective houses (and in this process, the MC might catch the unusual first year looking at them as they exit the Hall).
The MC then heads to their common room along with the other students. The player gets to explore the common room and interact with it magically (lighting fireplace, accio-ing books etc.), maybe eventually getting scolded by some older students, a ghost or a prefect. Also, the bulletin board lists some possible quests to be done on a later date. There are also NPCs with whom the MC can play exploding snap and wizards chess with in the common room. (Gobstones would be available to play outside)
The player is free to stay in the common room, but with all of the other students eventually heading up to their rooms, the player will naturally wish to do so as well. Upon going up to the bedroom, they will join in on a brief conversation with their roommates about the next day's classes etc. Then, the player will get to sleep in their bed, to get some rest before the start of a new school year.

I'm particularly not new to linux (intermediate imo i use arch and debian based distros both).
I recently fixed my old sony vaio laptop with the following specs: i3-370M intel hd graphics 2000 240gb ssd 8gb ram
Was looking for a smooth distro that I could use on it so as to reduce my distractions from my main pc which I use to play games.
I really love the gnome and cinnamon de with ubuntu and mint but my laptop struggles to run and multitask on it. I also tried xfce and for some reason mint xfce, linux lite and zorin lite struggle to mutlitask or run firefox well. Even lubuntu didn't smooth it out. While mx linux did work, I didn't like the fact that it takes ages to update all the packages again now that I'm on another distro and even mate didn't keep its spot.
I am currently using elementary os which runs kinda fine but has a few issues on my end and + the notorious app centre crashes. I love it's style btw. Tried Cachy os as well and it ran fairly good but arch didn't feel comfy.
Now lemme get to the question. I wanted a distro that could run fairly well on my system with a nice look (preferably like gnome or cinnamon with that 3dish flat style but that's optional). Tbh I'm also good with arch if i can make it look nice and have minimal effort keeping it upto date.
Or is there anyway I can improve my experience with elementary os?

Wednesday Pier Farmers Market
- The Wednesday Pier Farmers Market at the St. Johns County Pier offers fresh fruit, vegetables, bread, and local arts and crafts every week. With a number of different vendors, visitors can find a variety of unique, quality goods. Each item is handcrafted by these dedicated artists, and the food is locally grown and handpicked.
- This beachside farmers market makes for a great outing on Wednesday mornings. Visitors can browse the huge selection of locally grown goods and then afterward take a stroll along scenic St. Augustine Beach. Farmers markets boost the local economy by giving local merchants an outlet to sell their wares. They also benefit the community by offering fresh, local, seasonal foods.

- When: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. every Wednesday
- Where: St. Johns County Pier Park is located at the St. Johns County Ocean Pier at 350 A1A Beach Blvd in St. Augustine Beach, Florida 32080
Boozin' on the Boulevard
- Boozin' on the Boulevard takes guests on a hop-on hop-off service to some of the local restaurants on Anastasia Island.
- This bar crawl begins at Kaiser's Deli & Market and Sogno Restaurant from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Guests will then be taken to Blackfly and Odd Birds Cocktail Lounge and Kitchen from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. The tour will end at Candlelight South at 8:00 p.m.
- Each eatery will have food and drink specials — individuals must purchase a drink first from Kaiser's or Sogno Restaurant to receive a wristband. This band enables entry onto the Old Town Connect bus — a free transportation service for participants.
- Admission: Food and drink prices vary at each establishment. Transportation is provided by Old Town Connect once a drink is purchased at Kaiser's Deli or Sogno Restaurant.
- When: Every Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Note: Dates and times could be adjusted based on the number of sign-ups.
- Where: Starts at Kaiser's Deli & Market at 4 White Street East, St. Augustine, Florida 32080.
St. Augustine Wine Walk
- On the third Thursday of each month from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Casa de Vino 57, hosts a wine-tasting walk. The tour visits several local shops, with wine tastings at each location, and ends with a return to Case de Vino 57 for a glass of wine in the courtyard. Tickets are $35.00 and are availble on their website or Facebook page.
- Casa de Vino 57, both a wine shop and a venue, offers boutique wines and charcuterie to guests in their courtyard, where they can enjoy live music from local performers.
- Admission: $35.00 per person.
- When: The third Thursday of each month from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

However, R's journal also includes reference to the 15th (Friday/ Day 5 in-game), saying "M" is mentioned on March 9th and 15th. But after you read the entry of the 9th, it then says that the second M mention is on the 12th, whereupon R says she has been holed up for 3 days, having run off on Friday. Which means that the 15th must have been a typo.
(At the end of the journal, it says that the final entry is from 'today'. But that could be the 15th or the 16th or the 17th, etc, since there's nothing that says we have to trigger it on that day. So in that sense, there's no definitive date upon which we find her, and 'today' is meaningless.)

J’ai passé une commande chez Amazon pour un montant de 2700€ avec un paiement en 24x avec cofidis.
Suite à un événement inattendu, j’ai été dans l’obligation de retourner la totalité de cette commande à Amazon dès que je l’ai reçu.
Le retour a été effectué et a été livré dans les entrepôts d’Amazon le 8 avril.
Le 25 avril (17 jours après la livraison des biens chez Amazon),je recontacte amazon car je ne reçois aucun mail de remboursement entre-temps. Ils me disent qu’ils ne peuvent pas me donner de réponse et d’attendre jusqu’au 6 mai, donc un mois après que le colis ait été livré chez eux.
Le 6 mai je les recontacte comme convenu et ils me disent cette fois d’attendre 60 jours, donc jusqu’au 3 juin.
J’ai l’impression qu’ils me font tourner en rond et que le 3 juin, ils vont encore me dire d’attendre dans le vent.
Cela fait 2 mois que je me fais prélever pour des objets que j’ai retourné et que je ne possède plus.
En cherchant sur internet, une loi prévoit qu’un site en ligne doit me rembourser dans un délai de 14 jours après avoir reçu le retour des biens dans leur entrepôt et je pense que soit Amazon est totalement hors la loi ou soit ils jouent sur des dérogations speficifiques pour rester dans la limite du légal car normalement, sous 14 jours après avoir reçu le retour des biens, ils auraient dû me rembourser.
Signalconso et la dgccrf ont été contactés mais pour l’instant je n’ai pas de retour de amazon ou de la dgccrf.
Ma prochaine étape serait de chargeback (retrofacturation) car Amazon ne respecte pas mes droits de consommateurs, avec ma banque qui va faire la demande auprès de Mastercard mais je me demandais si le chargeback serait accepté, cela me mettrait-il en situation d’impayé par rapport à cofidis et si ils peuvent se retourner contre moi ou si le chargeback va empêcher cofidis de se retourner contre moi

The agreement was on "main points", therefore bit shorter than before (87 pages 2012 vs 26 pages 2024). The points surrounding naturalisation are basically as follows:
"Extra and mandating stakes on integration. Starting point is that you are one of us if you accept Dutch values and participate in it."

Back then, the Coalition accord came in October 2012, then the law came to TK in January 2014, voted in TK in June 2016, then finally voted not in favor in EK in October 2017, because the coalition party PvdA have already changed their mind since around 2015 after DENK was splintered off from it, and crucially, at the very last moment, 50+ changed its mind after getting protests from Dutch people abroad, because the law also included parts that required spouses of Dutch people to live in NL for 3 years before naturalisation.
So.... that took 5 years. However, it should be noted that case involved very complicated political tensions surrounding the cabinet; now there's no parties like PvdA that will pull the plug on this specific law.
The time took from the submission in EK to actually changing the nationality law varies a lot, but usually it was 1 year and couple of months. (That case was for taking back Dutch nationality for Dutch nationals in ISIS, which was a very complicated case because it involved statelessness.)
Similar attempts in other countries with far-right in power also suggest the same. In Sweden, the Tidö Agreement was signed in October 2022, and the changes in the law was proposed in March 2024, with expected effective date of 1 October 2024. There has been no amnesty given for people who have been already in the country. The lack of EK in Sweden does make it short, but not dramatically shorter.
So if you have already lived (n<4) years here, should you then be worried about it? I think it depends. For the original attempt in 2012, there was an amendement submitted by Sjoerd Sjoerdsma (D66) that let old rules apply for people who have already lived in NL for more than 3 years, which has been passed by a VERY small margin. This is because back then the broader "left" parties took almost 48% of the seats, and also thanks to the coalition party (PvdA) siding with them in that amendment. Now the situation seems very unlikely that such amendment would be passed.
So for those people - including myself - I can only conclude that it would ultimately depend on how high the naturalisation is on the government's priority list compared to other issues. On the one hand, it is not as high compared to other asylum-focused measures in the package; on the other hand, among all the proposals in the migration package, naturalisation is probably the "easiest" option of all: it is very much proven in 2012 - 2017 to be achievable. So if the governement can't really achieve any meaningful changes with migration to show its voters - it is safe to say that the naturalisation law would be the go-to option for the coalition to please its voting base.
