FNaF 6

FNaF 6 is mostly assumed by people to take place in 2023 because of HRY223, saying it means Henry 2023, the thing is, they ignore the most important detail of that text.
HRY223 is actually not written that way, is "HRY223...", what's the difference?
In the first option that most people use to argue FNaF 6 2023, the text is complete, saying 2023 as a last part of the text.
In the true and second option, the text is incomplete, it's not showing it all, Scott knew that people said that FNaF 3 took place in 2023 when it wasn't the case, so, he wanted to do a little trolling putting "HRY223..." It does say Henry (date), but the date is incomplete, so it's more of:
HRY 2/23/???? or Henry Febrary 23rd of ????, since the last part is missing.
So, if the date is not 2023, then when is it?
Using Fazbear Frights as a part of games timeline, we have an answer, since, and as I have stated before:

In Fetch, Greg describes the Location of Freddy's as the same as the FNaF 1 Location (MCI Location), which we know, was turned Into Jeffs Pizza in ITP.
So Fetch is before 2020. (Since ITP happens in 2020)
Taking in mind this and how TMIR1280 happens around 2 to 3 years after FFPS and how Fetch is before 2020, then:
As Fetch is, at latest, in December 2019 / January 2020, then, TMIR1280 happens in 2019 or 2018, so FFPS happens in 2017 or 2016 (2 to 3 years before TMIR1280)

So, with this in mind, FNaF 6 happens in 2016 or 2017.
But some people argue that FNaF 3 happens in 2023, how do I explain that?
FNaF 3 doesn't happen in 2023, happens in 2015.

First of all, the steam description.

So, it mentions that it's 30 years after Freddy Fazbear's Pizza closed it's doors, which of the 3? Well, we can get to an easy answer with this.

So, the location was actually opened for quite a long time (discarding the location of the 87), the FNaF 1 location is the same as the location of the MCI, so it could be rather 2015 or 2022/2023 (later explaining).
So, which of both is it? Well, the text directly stated right after it explains it.

What does this tell us?
Well, reading the whole text, is clear that it's talking about 30 years after the location where the rumors and years of neglect and ruin started closed.
The FNaF 1 location didn't started the rumors and years of neglect and ruin.
It was the Missing Children Incident location!
Now, let's talk about the source code.

What does this actually mean?
let me begin separating the text, because it's not "five nights at freddy's 30 years later only one" it has punctuation marks, so, what do they mean? To me, they look more as a title.

As it is a title, there's the name of the franchise, then the title of the game == (Title) (Name)
So, the important thing here is the fact that it's named "30 years later, only one" what could this mean?
I interpret it more like- "After 30 years, there's only one" only one what? Only one animatronic as the description of the game says.
At first there were only empty shells, a hand, a hook, an old paper-plate doll, but then a remarkable discovery was made...
The attraction now has one animatronic.
So, it's talking about that 30 after something, there's now one animatronic in Fazbear Frights.
This doesn't reveal anything.

The Real Value and the Logbook

I don't think this needs an explination, but here it comes. (reused text from an old post)

In the page 79 there is a cupon named "Pizza Party Pack" which costs 16 dollars, and Michael writted there "for real value, see page 61", if you remember right, the page 61 is where we get the "I" in the "my name" code, but for now, let's ignore that, because doing the same math, "5+4 = 9" and multiplaying it with 3 we get 27, so the real value is 27, right? yes, but that's kinda weard, because if we use an inflation calculator (or just do the math by ourselfs) we get that in 2023 it would cost 33.74 dollars, but that's logical, Scott made this book in 2017, the real value needs to be updated to the "present" day, Scott isn't a magician, he can't know how will go the inflation in 2023 being on 2017, and doing the math with 2017 insetead of 2023 we get almost the exact number, but it can't be right, like i said in another post the only dates where FNaF 3 can take place are 2015 and 2023, and like we see right here, it can't be in 2023, but wait, we are doing this taking in mind that FNaF 1 takes place in 1993, if we say that FNaF 1 takes place in 1992 then in 2015 is 27.00$.
Also in the book there are several references to things that only appeared in 2015 the MacBook Silver, the dabbing (but used as a meme) and more, so, even with this conclusion, the only possible way to this to work is if FNaF 3 takes place in 2015…

But I've seen people against the real value, and let me explain why they are wrong!

Let me debunk this properly.
Starting with...
Meta Logbook.
The fact that the logbook mentions the Springlocks doesn't even prove anything!
It just places it after Night 2 of FNaF 3.
The Phone Calls from FNaF 2 are never mentioned or even something at all on the Logbook, they know what happened in that local because of the rummors!
They knew about the Phone Calls from FNaF 1 because they were in that restaurant! and uh, Phone Guy kinda possessed the phone, if not, we wouldn't be literally getting PHONE CALLS on FNaF 1, since they are recordings, why ring the phone? That's because it's possessed by Phone Guy.
They could've just recorded those Phone Calls to make the logbook AFTER night 2.
Now, let's talk about th epost of Fantasctic-Bed3911.
FNaF 2 is NOT in summer, if we're gonna use the summer-job thing as confirmation, then FnaF 1 is in summer as the description of FNaF 1 states:

Welcome to your new summer job at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, where kids and parents alike come for entertainment and food as far as the eye can see! The main attraction is Freddy Fazbear, of course; and his two friends. They are animatronic robots, programmed to please the crowds! The robots' behavior has become somewhat unpredictable at night however, and it was much cheaper to hire you as a security guard than to find a repairman.

So it's more of a legal thing or a way to say "short-time job".
So, FNaF 1 is indeed in 1992, and since the Logbook has multiple references of it being at the same time as FNaF 3 (since we literally see the office and for stuff mentioned before), the real value is showing us that FNaF 3 is in 2015.

So, in the camera 04b we see the MCI newspapers, which if you see them correctly and compare them with the newspapers that we see on the beginning of the game and REAL newspapers we know that these aren’t actually newspapers from the 80s, they don’t actually seem to be actual newspapers at all, they seem more like an article from a web page, like- a transcription of the news to digital, so, they were researched in the internet, or something similar.
We know that this is the current pizzeria since is stated to be after the MCI or “after the tragedy that took place there many years ago” which implies that this is also the same restaurant of where the MCI happened, so this makes me think that this is the memory of Mike, these are actual things that Mike researched on internet to know more about his job maybe?
Remember that Mike used a computer to search that, he used the internet, according to Wikipedia and this Quora question, the internet was opened to the public in 1991, so FNaF 1 cannot be in 1990. But that would bring a lot of problems, for example, in 1992 the minimum wage was of 4.55$, so it can’t be there, or at any point after 1991… UNLESS, Following what the U.S. DEPARTMENT OF LABOR says, if a person is under the age of 20 it can have the minimum wage but only 85%, but this expired in 1993, so, FNaF 1 is at any point from 1991 to 1993 and Mike is at maximum 20 years old.
It can be at any point in between those 3 years, so we don’t have a definitive answer for now… Or until FNaF 2…

So, FNaF 2 is directly a prequel of FNaF 1, since 2 takes place in 1987 and 1 is in 1991-1993. So, with the information that this game adds to the timeline, how can this help with FNaF 1?
Yeah i know what you might be thinking, “but how can this help?!?!”, pretty easy actually. FNaF 2 takes place in November of 1987, more specifically, 8th to 14th of November, November 8th is a SUNDAY. This shows us that the laboral week of Fazbear Entertainment is from Sunday to Thursday, but Jeremy and Fritz spent until Saturday.
So, FNaF 1 is in 1992. Finally, with this out of the way, i need to explain why does this can keep working on current timeline-
I know that there's still people saying that more recent information make clear that FNaF 1 is in 1993, but to that let me tell you something...
No it doesn't. like we can see thanks to TechnicalFNaF that in FNaF AR the "Faz-Facts" are NOT canon,, since the Illumix employee stated how they were written by Illumix and not Scott, and shouldn't be used for lore at all.

With that out of the way, let me talk about one of the MOST missinterpreted and missinformed fact of the franchise, in the FNaF Cook book, there's NO mention of 1993, Not in any page of the book, that's missinformation.
With that out of the way, let me tell you one of the most ignored pieces of information of the MOST LORE RELEVANT BOOK of this franchise...
Before going to it,, let me clarify something the Survival Logbook is indeed in FNaF 3, not in the nights, but AFTER the nights happen, how?
First of all, the Survival Logbook makes clear that it takes place on the week that Mike was there (also confirming that Mike was the Frightguard), we know this since the Logbooks night 2 to 5 title pages are in the FNaF 3 office, htat's obvious since we see how everything lines up perfectly, and the fact that we see foxy there makes clear too that Mike is Foxybully, so, upon that, the Logbook takes place in FNaF 3, but how?
The Logbook is directly a log to all the stuff that happened during your shift, bassicly it's literally a in-between nights thing, so it makes sense that Mike would have it and fill it with stuff in between the nights of FNaF 3...
Now...

March 7th is the day the LOP went to crap.
That was the day the tiers hit my market & many others.
For the record, I don’t have a problem with the tiers as I’ve been maintaining 70+ AR for quite some time now. I welcomed the tiers, actually.
I’ve also been in the LOP since February 2022.
The issue with the Platinum tier is, since the LOP has changed, it’s pretty much false advertising as this point.
Door Dash decided to get rid of the “Catering Bag Required” tag on all large orders placed on the DD app & leaving it on the merchant requested orders such as Chipotle & Panera.
Well, there aren’t as many merchant LOP as there are compared to the on demand LOP.
If you get one of these orders, you wont know it’s an LOP until after acceptance. It won’t say CBR & it won’t ask you to verify catering bag.
Because of that, it has ruined the priority on large orders. Any Joe Blow dasher can receive those type of orders now except the ones from the merchant.
So the teacher who randomly gets on the app & orders 15 pizzas for her class & tips $40, most likely not going to a platinum dasher.
That guy who orders a $200 Flemings dinner for him & his wife & tips $50…..any Tom, Dick & Harry could receive that order.
DoorDash is not reserving these type of Large Orders for the platinum driver. Any random dasher can get those now.
That really defeats the purpose of the Platinum tier.

I've been working on a mod called "The Matter Manipulator," inspired by Starbound and Subnautica. It's designed to be a small necklace powered by singularity-class technology.
The purpose is simple: to invalidate all tools in the game. Once acquired, the player would never need another tool, workstation, cook-station, etc.
However, I've been having some problems implementing it. Everything reliant on qualities seemed straightforward, and the items under the use_action category were easy enough.
But then came the cooking and welding recipes. I couldn't get many recipes that required the oxy torch or a cooking facility to work. From my research, I know you can inject your item ID into the JSON/requirements section of the code, which makes it show up as an option in the recipe list. However, this makes the matter manipulator require charges, which detracts from what I'm going for.
Any help or guidance in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Here's the code I have so far: ———————

2024.05.16 02:37 Afraid-Penalty-757 So I was re-reading the Yangchen Duology and something I didn't really thought about where are the Daofei and the Fifth Nation?

Granted with the former I can understand why they weren't mention in The Duology, they are criminals from the mainland Earth Kingdom while most of the events that happened in both Dawn and Legacy are in the Shang Cities so you does make sense why they aren't mention pius they most likely in the Earth Kingdom thing. (Granted Bin-Er and Taku are from the Earth Kingdom but like I said they are Shang Cities at this point, especially Taku since the city is stated to be very wealthy during the yangchen books meaning there is no point mentioning Daofei as I've imagined since the city is wealthy and didn't help there probably isn't a crime rate as well. Also the fact that Hense's men are stated to be thugs seem to suggested that they aren't Daofei as they have their culture and code unlike you're average criminal or bandit.)
Now with the Fifth Nation that is a bit hard given the fact that they are pirates especially what happened after the Platinum Affair where trade is only regulated with four shang cities so you probably think there would have been a mention or two about the issue of piracy within the era but no, in fact we know that after the novels Yangchen signed a treaty with Tulok's grandfather (and Tagaka's great-grandfather,) securing that the corsairs would stay in the Eastern Sea and not attack the coastline of the southern Earth Kingdom. The Fifth Nation honored the treaty for three generations.
I understand that the Yangchen books mostly focus on the big geopolitics of the world while the stuff with the fifth nation and piracy is more micro lens in terms of the political state of the Yangchen era with the Four Shage Cities?

Title: Luyosirth the Dusk Knight
Race/Ethnic Group: Abbsins Draaki
Class: WardeDark Knight gestalt with archetypes (something like a reach/ranged switch tank with some dark and holy powers mixing together).
Occupation: Wandering Knight
Character Nature: Noble, prideful, and honorable to a fault, also a of bit money-hungry and rich-boy attitude.

Character Details

Gender: Male
Age/appeared age: Appears to be an adult, probably around 30ish in human terms.
Facial Features: His black horns might be tipped with silver or platinum or adorned with jewelry perhaps. He also bears a brand of some sort on his forehead, a mark that most would recognize as that of an oathbreaker.
Hair: May have white hair of whatever style you wish or not, up to you.
Eyes: Violet serpentine/draconic eyes with black sclera.
Distinguishing Marks: Feel free to add a few scars if you wish, and his palms would bear the same brand as on his forehead if they're visible.
Significant item: He has a fist sized obsidian orb with silver flecks/impurities that he is adding intricate engravings and inlays to over time, slowly turning it from an average gem to a ludicrously expensive masterpiece as the campaign goes on. It is usually kept close to him in a belt pouch though he may occasionally have it out to admire or fiddle with.
Body Type: Absolutely massive, he stands around 8'2" and weighs around 420 lbs of pure muscle and scale.
Color Scheme: His scales would be predominantly black, but not black as pitch more like something dusky that could easily blend in with shadows. He would also have a preference for silver or platinum jewelry metals and black or violet gems. His clothes would stick to darker color schemes in general but may vary to taste.
Primary Weapon: His weapon, Yowsand Resksulthamuul (tl: Lotus Piercing the Void), is a strange void-black polearm that even in his hands seems quite large, its many-bladed spiraling spear tip separates in the center for the barrel of a wide-bore firearm. The whole weapon has a vague lotus thematic to it and though it seems capable of functioning both at range and in melee it seems a bit heavy at the tip and may be difficult to maneuver quickly. If it weren't a magical construct almost literally made of shadows and darkness, its sheer size would likely make it impossible to carry for most let alone wield properly. While it is technically possible to have a proper physical version of this gun-spear weapon it was designed by a highly secretive religion almost exclusively for him to shape his akashic weapon into so any physical instances of this particular exotic weapon are kept in mystery.
Other Gear: Though he is a "starting" adventurer he has a long past that he's trying to put behind him. As such he has put aside almost all of his earlier possessions, keeping just enough to start a new life. He wears no armor, only light and well tailored clothes with the occasional flashy trimming or fashionable accessory (though as he adventures these clothes will become finer and the jewelry more elaborate). Aside from a silver signet ring he may also be seen wearing a silver pendant with a black lotus on it.
Action/Pose: He has a rather stalwart and battle ready stance at all times, something like the stance of a soldier relaxing during a lull in battle.
Others: He is capable of using both his large tail and any other part of his body to defend himself even without his weapon in hand, and while he would frequently repair or replace his expensive attire it may be slightly damaged from time to time depending on the circumstances.

Character Persona

Alignment: Lawful Neutral
Personality Traits: Very prideful and honorable, though he is clearly carrying the heavy weight of past sins. Has a pretty strong "dragon greed" streak and while he's not exactly the type to take from others (anymore) he is loath to part with coin or jewels and definitely prefers the finer things in life. He follows something like a Bushido code and is learning to embrace balance and self perfection as well as to appreciate the beauty in darkness instead of wielding its powers for evil.
Ideals and Goals: He primarily seeks to redeem himself, if not in the eyes of the world than at least in his own eyes and perhaps the eyes of the goddess who pulled him from the path of evil. For right now he is focusing on doing all he can to protect the lives of others and embrace the ideals of his goddess Xan Yae .
Bonds and Flaws: Due to some of his past deeds and some of the forbidden knowledge he obtained he is almost perpetually on edge and at least slightly uncomfortable. His greed can often be a challenge for him to cope with and though he does prefer finer clothes he absolutely refuses to wear armor or any sort of heavy clothing, even if doing so would save his life.

Other

Visual concepts: Overall his race has little to no art from what I can find so I'm vaguely equating it the various types of Dragonborn throughout D&D. His specific breed is described as having a large tail they can attack with so that is pretty important. Other than that the concept is pretty vague right now as I haven't been able to find anything I'm really satisfied with. In the attached reference three of the upper right pictures are AI I found while searching for dragonborn or anthro dragon art, and the one with the long white hair is an image of the drow-dragon (or zekyl) from the Forgotten Realms, seeing as how the Draaki can transform into a drow appearance I thought it was fitting to include. The bottom right image is included mostly because it's an unarmored dragonborn-looking thing with a fancy polearm and I kinda like his proud attitude too (also I've always been fond of harem pants lol). The other included polearm references are also just pretty vague ideas, the polearm itself doesn't even need to look practical so feel free to fantasy it up a bit.

Backstory: Luyosirth doesn't discuss his distant past with anyone, for any reason, though it is pretty clear he did some bad things. As it is he is a known oathbreaker and has a bit of an unspoken reputation for having done terrible things. Through the guidance of Xan Yae (and a bit of help from an organization that gives villains and oathbreakers a "second chance") he is trying to put his life back on track. He has connected with several organizations that have strict regimented codes of honor and rules and is using this as a bit of a crutch to keep himself in check, not exactly trusting himself without the threat of many powerful warriors hanging over his head. This has eventually led to him training with and swearing allegiance to the knights of Varisia, and though he doesn't have any specific station as of yet he is expected to protect the citizenry and answer the call when needed. At the start of this campaign he is returning to the town of Sandpoint where he spent much of his earlier years and even through his dark times it was a place he visited frequently. Though the local sheriff is absolutely keeping his eye on the hulking black dragonfolk, Luyosirth is doing his best to make amends. Surprisingly, aside from the sheriff, many of the townsfolk seem willing to forget the past. In fact he quickly made fast friends with the proprietor of the Rusty Dragon tavern, one well known to cater to adventurers of all walks of life. As the campaign starts Luyosirth would be preparing some of his finest clothes for the upcoming Swallowtail Festival in Sandpoint.

2024.05.15 22:32 mamspaghetti [Theory] The inability to bend platinum can be fixed by sufficient scientific and spiritual advancements within the ATLA universe

A friend of mine just finished ATLA and LoK and wondered why exactly platinum of all things could not be bent to the shape and will of an Earthbender. After bouncing around ideas, this is what we came up with:
Though Toph herself said that Platinum cannot be bent due to lack of earth particulates, it is curious to note that for some reason, the mercury-like metallic poison that Korra ingested could be bent out of her body. If it were the case that metals can only be bent because they contort the earth particulates embedded within it, then realistically they would only be able to rip out the earth particulates within the ore. The fact that Toph was able to bend out that metallic poison using the super-fine earth sediments that mixed with the toxin and stayed within Korra's body indicates two possibilities:
1) That the prerequisite to metal bending being the ability to sense earth within the metal is untrue
or
2) That earth particulates are needed, but the ability to sense them all requires leaps and advances in material sciences and earth bending spirituality that just haven't happened yet even during Korra's time
It's more likely that option 2 is the answer, as subtle hints dropped throughout the expanded ATLA universe point towards the idea that the more spiritual an earth bender is, the stronger they can sense the earth's spiritual energy around them and the smaller the particulates they can manipulate.
This is backed by two pieces of evidence

First, only Toph was able to sense and help flush out the remaining earth particulates that were mixed with the poison that Zaheer poisoned Korra with. These earth particulates were so small that no one was able to sense them: Not her direct descendents, not Korra, and surprisingly not even Katara. And out of all the people in the world, Katara would be the only other person who would have a shot at detecting it, as she is the waterbending master by Korra's time, and she out of anyone would be able to detect the trace toxins via the earth and metal particulates obstructing blood flow. The fact that Katara couldn't means that while all 4 bendable elements are just different applications of spirit bending, sensing microscopic earth particulates is something only an expert Earth bender can do, and that no other elemental bender can match an earth bender in this regard. So how did Toph get so good at earth bending? By learning it through instinct by observing and interacting with the Badger moles. Because badger moles are animals, they don't understand human language nor do they care about a human's want to learn earthbending from them. So when Toph started out her early days as an earthbender, she had to have relied heavily on instinct in order to understand not only what the badger moles are doing, but also to sense the flow of spiritual energy coursing through the very soil she feels. Due to her background, Toph is one of the few earthbenders within the "modern" era whose bending style is the most similar to that used by ancient Earthbenders, and is thus one of the most spiritual earth benders we know of in the modern era. To conclude, Toph's uniquely spiritual bending style gave her a near unprecedented edge in sensing earth particulate on a scale that few earthbenders across the expanded universe can replicate.
In agreement with point 1, the well-known quote that Lao Ge told Kiyoshi in her youth goes like this:

"Divide your body in two, then divide it again, and then again, and again. Put the pieces back, and put them back again, and again, and again one more time, and you're whole once more.” - Tieguai The Immortal

The philosophy behind this is that Tieguai claims that ageing is the product of the body deteriorating on the smallest, most invisible level. And this quote was given for how one can prevent this very deterioration. In context of the first piece of evidence, this means that Tieguai, hundreds of years before Korra, essentially discovered that earth benders can achieve immortality by manipulating the very earth grains within them to bend their bodies to a pre-established state/age. And him referring to ageing as "invisible deterioration" may have less to do with the fact that his method of immortality has less to do with energy bending, but that it is manipulating the finest, microscopic pieces of silt and dirt trapped within the human body to control one's very biology.
In combination with the top two quotes, this means that the more spiritual an earth bender, the finer and more precise their bending can become. Correlating this finer control with human ingenuity, new earth bending techniques can originate by combining knowledge of the natural world with a heightened sense of spirituality. This would be how things like crystal bending, paint bending (via Yun), sand/dust bending (via the sand nomads and the earth bending masters in Kiyoshi's time), and even metal bending originated.

So how does this justify why Platinum is impossible to bend?

To our current understanding, metallurgy is an art that remained stagnant for hundreds of years before Fire Nation triggered a global era of industrialization that saw an explosion of metallurgy techniques and applications. Prior to the fire nation invasion, metal was a fare rarer material to come across, and its unique difficulty to manipulate would've discouraged prior earthbenders from experimental with metal further than "manipulating the dust around a piece of iron ore" rather than manipulating the earth embedded within the iron. Only when iron became far more common place was Toph's ability to bend metals a far more useful skill to have.
Given this historical context, its far more likely that Platinum bending never became a thing because the material sciences in the ATLA universe havent advanced far enough by LoK for them to have discovered and used advanced metallurgy techniques of today. And because sufficient advancements in the physical understanding of metals have not happened, there just wasn't a right moment, at least during Toph's life, where scientists and spiritualists got together to brainstorm new ways to bend Platinum.
And even if Toph was able to sense the earth particulates trapped within platinum, another reason why she wrote off as impossible may be due to three reasons:

First, that as a member of the Avatar's entourage, she become incredibly busy, as her time and energy became increasingly diverted by her metal bending academy, her parental duties, her political duties as chief of police, and fighting criminals. This would give few opportunities in her adult life as a more proficient earth bender to really sit down and crack the code. But second, even if she did, she might not have worked out how to manipulate the metal without a proper understanding of how the earth particulates interact with the lattice structure of the metal.
LoK makes it clear that the industrial revolution has occured in the avatar universe, but what isn't cleaexpanded upon is how metal benders interact with alloys such as Brass or Bronze. Prior to advance late in the industrial revolution in our world, Platinum alloys were much harder to work with due to the innability to separate natural platinum ore into continuent metals like Rhodium, Palladium, Iridium, Osmium, as well as other nonmetallic impurities such as Phosphorous, Silica, and Sulfur deposits. Only until more did more modern electrochemical techniques such as the Wohwill process and electric arc furnaces increase the purity of platinum ores significantly. As LoK seems to be set in something roughly like the late 1800s early 1900s, analogous techniques like the electric arc furnaces may not have been invented. So maybe another difficulty of bending platinum is that the platinum used involves alloys from too many metals
Alternatively, it could be that the prevalence of electricity benders have naturally accelerated the development of making pure platinum ore. In that case, the higher purity of Platinum ore may result in fewer earth particulates in the metal to manipulate the ore
1. As a subpoint, Platinum on average has a greater density, melting point, and malleability than Iron, indicating that its crystalline lattice is more robust and sturdier than that found in iron. If the principle behind metal bending is to force the comparatively few earthen particulates within the ore to distort the metallic lattice that iron atoms are trapped in, thena combination of fewer earthen particles, plus a more robust lattice within the platinum ore, may have been the main culprits that prevented platinum to be bent
  1. So, to bend platinum, one would need spiritual advances to somehow make use of fewer earthen particulates in a platinum ore to distort a much more structurally robust ore to move according to a bender's well. And its also more likely that neither issue was fully investgated by a team of sages and scientists throughout Aang's lifetime.

And even if Toph spent the rest of her life delving into how to tackle the Platinum issue, the lack of easily identifiable platinum, and her general lax attitude post-retirement, would probably have discouraged her from trying out new techniques
In conclusion, the lack of adequate scientific advancements, and the lack of sufficiently spiritual metal bending sages, would have prevented the potential for platinum bending from expanding during Toph's time

What this means for the future of Avatar

With the increased globalization, and the paradoxical increase in spiritual energies within the world following LoK, an explosion of scientific and spiritual advancement would synergized and rigorously developed a wide assortment of techniques that would've otherwise been considered one-off, generational talents in prior eras. And probably crucial to the physical/spiritual advancements in earth bending would be to temporarily infuse metal ores with earth particulates, or to come up with entirely new ways to amplify one's will through the comparatively scarce amounts of earthen particulates to distort multiple types of metallic ore beyond just metal.
As current thought is that the next earth avatar would live in a world either 30-40 or even 100 years after Korra's time, there would have been ample time for the world to have come up with a ton of nuanced applications of metal bending beyond what we've seen in Korra's time
Some examples include
1) Manipulation of all types of ores. This would include Platinum, but maybe other types of rarer metals
2) Magnetism bending: By bending metals into their own bodies, an earth bender may be able to generate ferromagnetism by will
3) Oxygen doping: By manipulating the trace metals in the body or absorbing metals in the body. Earth benders can artificially increase the amount of heme within their bodies, thus taking up larger amounts of metal.
4) Bone Bending: By manipulating the flow of earthen particulates and metals within the body, one can induce bone formation, potentially allowing earth benders to be able to be like wolverine and bend bone extensions straight from their body. Or maybe, they can just excrete bone deposits from their bodies and form tools made out of their own bone by will.

2024.05.15 21:38 Good-Mourning Partner Pokemon only getting +1 on level up (Explorers of the Sky)

I'm replaying EotS and my partner only ever gets +1s on level up while me and our recruit get +2s at least occasionally. We're all past level 50 now and not once has my patner got a +2! My first playthrough was ages ago but I think I had this same thing. When I googled it, all the forums said it's just different pokemon growth rate and to expect a spurt in later levels but we're basically maxxed and just coasting to 100 now. Is normal?
I'm playing a Zangoose and my partner is a Cradily, our recruit is a Driftblim. Cradily has the xp gain from the IQ skill so he's almost 10 levels above me, and yet his stats are lower than mine even though I've been shoveling gummie drinks in his face. I am using some AR codes including a teamwide xp gain, but I don't think this is the problem because as I said our recruit has been leveling up at my rate of growth, and I didn't have it on for our first like 15 levels. This isn't a big deal, but also feels like this shouldn't be how it is.
Also unrelated but am I right feeling like your starter attack move like Tackle or Scratch is the GOAT? It's got so much PP and it straight carries through anything but bosses.

Using an extremely helpful recommendation as the base, I've arrived at the following build. My main needs are the Adobe Suite (photoshop, lightroom, premier, after effects), with secondary needs in order of importance, of wanting to be future proof for AI implementation; exploring coding, 3D designs, and app development; and mainstream gaming. Regarding AI, I received a couple endorsements of buying a used 3090.
I am looking for some advice mostly about this build's cost effectiveness, but also about the used 3090 rec.

2024.05.15 20:22 Academic-Ad-2744 The “New” Large Order Program

March 7th is the day the LOP went to shit.
That was the day the tiers hit my market & many others.
For the record, I don’t have a problem with the tiers as I’ve been maintaining 70+ AR for quite some time now. I welcomed the tiers, actually.
I’ve also been in the LOP since February 2022.
The issue with the Platinum tier is, since the LOP has changed, it’s pretty much false advertising as this point.
Door Dash decided to get rid of the “Catering Bag Required” tag on all large orders placed on the DD app & leaving it on the merchant requested orders such as Chipotle & Panera.
Well, there aren’t as many merchant LOP as there are compared to the on demand LOP.
If you get one of these orders, you wont know it’s an LOP until after acceptance. It won’t say CBR & it won’t ask you to verify catering bag.
Because of that, it has ruined the priority on large orders. Any Joe Blow dasher can receive those type of orders now except the ones from the merchant.
So the teacher who randomly gets on the app & orders 15 pizzas for her class & tips $40, most likely not going to a platinum dasher.
That guy who orders a $200 Flemings dinner for him & his wife & tips $50…..any Tom, Dick & Harry could receive that order.
DoorDash is not reserving these type of Large Orders for the platinum driver. Any random dasher can get those now.
That really defeats the purpose of the Platinum tier.

I’m at Platinum with Westjet and had a couple of questions before booking a code share flight with Delta.
I was wondering if my WJ Platinum status gives me any perks on a Delta flight? I only really care about zone 1 boarding but would love to know if I’ll get access to the Delta lounge etc. The WJ website seems to indicate I get perks but it’s ambiguous.
Thanks in advance for anyone who has some experience with this and can answer my questions.
