What is happening with my package? Been stuck in Arizona Since May 7!
I bought an item that was supposed to be delivered to me on May 6, but it's been stuck in Phoenix, Arizona since may 7. I put in a missing mail search, but that doesn't seem to be working. I might just call USPS soon. Is anyone else having this kind of problem? This is the first time I've had this problem and it's honestly really frustrating that this is happening. Must be a machine sorting error, or the tracking info is messed up or something. 🤷‍♂️

BigCommerce is exploring a sale after attracting takeover interest, according to sources who chose to remain anonymous due to the confidentiality of the information. The sources said that BigCommerce asked investment bank Qatalyst Partners to solicit interest from potential buyers that include private equity firms, but that the discussions are at an early stage and no deal is certain.

Squarespace announced that it will be going private in a $6.9B all-cash deal with private-equity firm Permira, who agreed to pay $44 per share (a roughly 30% premium). Although Squarespace never lost 90% of its share price like BigCommerce, it has experienced a tumultuous time on the market since its IPO in May 2021 — opening around $49.50 and at times trading in the low $20s. Shares rose nearly 13% to $43 in pre-market trading upon release of the news.

ByteDance filed a lawsuit in US federal court seeking to block the new law that would force the sale or ban of the app within the country. The lawsuit challenges the law on constitutional grounds, also citing commercial, technical, and legal hurdles, as well as opposition from Beijing. Legal experts say the legal battle will play out in the courts in coming months and likely will reach the Supreme Court.

OpenAI unveiled its newest model, GPT-4o, designed to turn ChatGPT into a digital personal assistant that can engage in real-time, spoken conversations and interact with users using text, screenshots, photos, documents, and charts. The new version of ChatGPT also has memory capabilities, which means it can learn from previous conversations. It will be available to both unpaid and premium customers alike. OpenAI also announced that it would be launching a desktop app with the GPT-4o capabilities, giving users another platform to interact with the technology outside of a web browser.

Amazon launched in South Africa last week, marking its first marketplace in sub-Saharan Africa, and bringing its total number of marketplaces worldwide to 22. To launch the new marketplace, Amazon is offering free delivery on first orders and on subsequent orders above R500 (about $27), access to 3,000 pick-up points, status updates via WhatsApp to track orders, 30 day refunds, and 24/7 customer support. The marketplace was supposed to launch in the country in 2023, but got delayed due to changes in priorities within Amazon.

In an unlikely partnership, Instacart is partnering with Uber Eats to expand into the restaurant delivery business. Instacart will add a new tab for restaurant delivery to its app in the coming weeks, the listings will be provided by Uber, and the food will be picked up and delivered by Uber Eats drivers. Customers will receive the same prices on both apps and Instacart will receive an affiliate commission on orders. It's a strange partnership though given that Instacart and Uber Eats actively compete on grocery delivery. Are they planning to merge? Uber says no.

Apple's advertisement for its latest iPad Pro sparked criticism for showing an animation of musical instruments, paint cans, cameras, record players, and other symbols of creativity being crushed by a giant machine, with the output being the new iPad Pro, which the company says is the thinnest Apple product ever. In this context, “crushing” was supposed to symbolize “consolidating” and “compacting” — with the visuals meant to showcase how the new iPad Pro puts the power of all these tools into the hands of creators in one thin device. However online commenters criticized the ad as insensitive and as symbolizing a “destruction of the human experience.” The ad hit the web on Tuesday, and by Thursday, Apple issued a mea culpa and apologized for the campaign.

Google is encouraging merchants to enable conversion annotations on their Google Shopping ads, which offer social proof that highlight a product's popularity. Conversion annotations like “best selling” or “3K shopped here recently” would provide visual cues about a product’s popularity or sales performance directly in the ad unit. Annotations like these are par for the course with e-commerce retailers including Amazon, Walmart, and Temu, which all employ similar tactics. They can provide valuable info for shoppers and also help with conversions. However they also open data privacy concerns, given that Google is not the actual retailer or marketplace selling the items, so a merchant would have to share this purchase history data from their e-commerce platform with Google — which technically most already do by giving access to GA4.

Shein is attempting to join the National Retail Federation as it pursues regulatory approval to go public in the US. The company believes that NRF membership would boost its chances of receiving SEC approval. However so far, Shein has been rejected numerous times. An anonymous source familiar with the matter said someone with heavy influence at the NRF is strongly against the Shein's admittance. However board members who spoke to CNBC said that Shein's membership application hadn't come up in meetings, and that they aren't involved in deciding which companies are granted access.

800,000 consumers in Europe and the US were duped into sharing card details and other sensitive personal data with a network of fake online designer shops operated from China, which comprised one of the largest scams of its kind with 76,000 fake websites created. The scammers used expired domains to host its fake shops in order to help avoid detection by websites or brand owners, and more than 1M orders were processed in the past three years alone.

A US district judge dismissed X's lawsuit against Bright Data, a data-scraping company accused of improperly accessing X system and violating X terms and state laws when scraping and selling data. The judge basically said that if X owned the data, it could perhaps argue that it has exclusive rights to control it, but then X wouldn't be able to enjoy the safe harbor of Section 230, which allows the platform to avoid liability for third-party content. Can't have it both ways!

The drop in support also affects games like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, which had game-specific options to send out tweets. Microsoft Xbox dropped support for X in April 2023 and Sony Playstation dropped the service in October 2023 due to the increase in X's API access fees.

2024.05.13 21:08 whoiswillo With Silly Season already underway, who do you think is on the hot seat?

Obviously there is a lot of things up in the air at this point, but who do you think should be worried? Here are my thoughts:
*Likely gone: Harrison Burton. *
With the number of Ford drivers becoming available, and with Burton’s lack of progress, I have to assume he’s either going to another team or back to Xfinity.
Should be getting nervous: Anyone driving for SHR and Alex Bowman.
It seems likely the team is going to downsize, and that could go any number of ways. Preece is probably in the worst spot, but statistically there’s not a huge gap between Briscoe and Berry.
As for Bowman, he’s only led six laps this year. That’s fewer than Harrison Burton and less than half of what Daniel Hemric has led. What helps him is that there isn’t any obvious Xfinity driver to move into that seat.
Would be nervous on any other team: Austin Dillon & Austin Cindric.
It helps that Kyle and Joey have also been out to lunch a bunch this season, but these two are underperforming in their equipment. Dillion, in particular, is having an awful season.
Happy they have a win: Bell and Suarez.
I don’t think either is in any real risk, but they have for much of the season been way slower than their teammate and you have to start wondering why.
It’s Getting Warm: Corey LaJoie
LaJoie just signed a multi year deal with Spire, but honestly he’s starting to look outclassed by his rookie teammate. Hocevar has been ahead in the points for much of the season. Darlington was LaJoie’s first top twenty finish on a non pack racing track this season. Meanwhile, Hocevar has scored top 20s at Las Vegas, Phoenix, Martinsville and Texas, including Spires only oval top ten outside of Daytona, Talladega and Atlanta. If Hocevar continues to improve, more questions will start to surround the 7 car.

2024.05.13 19:42 DerangedFingers Is what I've been making even really lasagna?

So I've been making my lasagna since highschool and I recognize that it's not very traditional. It still tastes good, it's just a bit of a shock eating my lasagna compared to others, at least to me because I'm kind of hyperaware of when my food doesn't taste exactly the same.
Here's the recipe:
For the sauce: Brown and season two pounds of ground beef in a large sauce pot with olive oil then drain the grease
Add in a 4.1 pound bottle of ragu chunky spaghetti sauce (sometimes more).
Diced fajita mix from Walmart (onions, green and red bell peppers
Sliced smoked beef sausage link
1 8oz brick of cream cheese, sliced and added into the sauce last

I cook it all on medium to low heat until the sauce is orange and the noodles are done boiling

Preheat Oven to 450°F
While in making the sauce, I preboil a pot of salt water then add in my lasagna noodles until they're soft, stirring occasionally to keep them from sticking too much

When they're done, I drain the water and move onto layering

I do a thin sauce layer in a deep casserole dish then three strips of lasagna noodles. After the initial layer, I add about a cup of sauce each layer.
( ex: sauce>noodle>sauce>noodle)
I go until the casserole dish is almost done. The last layer is sauce and cheese. For the cheese I use Italian blend and mozzarella.

I cover with aluminum foil and then cook it for ~40 minutes, checking periodically. Once I'm sure it's done, I let it sit for 30 minutes uncovered to cook and settle.

I know ricotta is usually used, but my dad didn't like ricotta so I never used it when making my lasagna before moving out. I also don't like an excessive amount of cheese (too many burnt grilled cheese sandwiches 🤢)

2024.05.13 19:32 Epididymis23 US West Coast Roadtrip Final 18-day Itinerary

Hi All!
My wife and me will leave to the US from Europe for a West Coast Roadtrip and I have a 95% finalised itinerary but if there are any recommended activities that I am missing or if I packed too much in a day, please advise. Campgrounds and all of the activities which need reservations are already reserved. Specialty coffee places and food tips are very welcome, we are not picky at all but love to eat basically anything from Five Guys to gourmet restaurants.
Day 1 - Arrive at 17:30 in San Francisco airport and take our rental car, drive to Pacifica Taco Bell for dinner, shop in Walmart or any other chain for roadtrip groceries and sleep in the Inn at Moss Landing, heading down there on Highway 1
Day 2 - Whale watch with blue ocean whale watching at 9 a.m. Head down to Monterey after that for lunch, check out Carmel by the Sea and because of the road closure at Big Sur head down to our next accomodation in Cambria for the evening
Day 3 - Leave in the morning, check out Hearst Castle and elephant seal watch and San Simeone, coffee at Scout coffee in San Luis Obispo, fast food for lunch, check out Morro Bay and Montana de Oro or Pismo beach and drive to Los Angeles in the evening to the hotel.
Day 4 - Universal Studio in the morning, mainly Harry Potter world and after we are finished there, check out the sunset at Griffith Observatorium and walk to Vista or Los Feliz Cinema to watch a classic movie and if there is time go to a bar for cocktails in the proximity.
Day 5 - Check out Santa Monica Pier, go down to Sports Basement to pick up car camping rentals (inflatable bed, trekking poles, sleeping bag) and drive to Joshua Tree campground for a late afternoon, evening hike and sleep in the campground.
Day 6 - Wake up early and do another hike in the morning, after that drive to Las Vegas hotel. Check out the Strip and then put it all on red in the hotel casino? We have a room in a great hotel so this may be a more relaxing afternoon / day.
Day 7 - Leave LV in the morning and drive through or to Valley of Fire State Park for a little while and arrive in Zion National Park in the afternoon to do a very short hike (Watchman Trail).
Day 8 - Scout Lookout trip and The Narrows in Zion NP in the morning and use the shuttle back, either to the car or if we have time and energy to see the Emerald Pools. Leave late and arrive to our Page accomodation late in the evening
Day 9 - Head to the Horseshoe Bend very early to see the sunrise (it is really close from our airbnb). Booked Antalope Canyon tour for early afternoon. Drive to Grand Canyon Mather campground in the afternoon, if possible catch the sunset there and sleep in the campground.
Day 10 - Start in the morning, hike the South Kaibab trail to Cedar Ridge or Skeleton Point depending on the weather and our energy level. Long drive in the afternoon to Death Valley Furnace Creek campground and arrive there in the evening for sleep and stargazing.
Day 11 - This seems like a really exhausting day but will have a rest day after this. Wake up really early and drive to Sequoia National Park, have a shorter hike (Moro rock trail or eagle viewpoint) and maybe the General Sherman Tree. In the afternoon drive to a hotel in Oakhurst for the night.
Day 12 - Relax in the hotel, maybe check out Bass Lake in the vicinity? If we are not tired, which I think we will be then maybe hike in Yosemite that day, too.
Day 13 - Lower Pines campground reservation, all-day hike. Recommendation for hikes? Sleep in the campground.
Day 14 - Whole day Yosemite. Recommendation for all day hikes? Sleep in the campground.
Day 15 - Multiple options, do not know which would be the best or most viable option:
  1. Hike again in Yosemite all day and drive to San Francisco hotel late in the afternoon
  2. Maybe a short hike in Yosemite and drive to Lake Tahoe, Emerald bay for a short time and after that drive to San Francisco hotel for the night
  3. Maybe a short hike in Yosemite and drive to Big Sur as the road closures will be lifted by then, check out Pfeiffer Falls for a short time and drive back to San Francisco hotel
Day 16 - Relaxing days ahead, chill sightseeing in SF, Golden Gate Park and mission district maybe fishermans wharf. Go to a bar for cocktails.
Day 17 - Alcatraz day tour, more sightseeing in SF, recommendations are welcome. Dinner in State Bird Provisions for our last full day.
Day 18 - Last day, check out of the hotel, drink some coffee and grab some fast food, maybe a very light walk in SF and head to the airport to leave at 4:25 pm.

2024.05.13 17:17 amgridindirty has anyone ever had their bike fall off the back of their car? if so what happened?

i have a bell walmart bike rack that has 6 straps as mounting points and usually it loosens itself a bit (even if i choke the straps as tight as possible) after driving to my destination but never to the point that it did my last time using it. both the top right hook and middle strap on the right side dislodged themselves from my trunk so the rack was just held on by the left top hook, middle left strap and bottom hooks. i didn’t notice the rack was loose in my mirror since it was night time and only realized it when i got home.
it got me thinking what if the rack and bike fell off on the freeway and if i had to call highway patrol to do a traffic break to retrieve it, would i be given a citation for unsecured load or something along those lines? has this happened to anyone before?

2024.05.13 04:52 ZestycloseDinner1713 I’m having such a hard time this second time around

If this is a long read, please forgive me. I don’t really have anyone to talk to about it except my mom.
Around 2019-2020, I was diagnosed with celiac disease. I was scared and took it very seriously. In Girl Scout cookie season with my nieces, I only ate the gf one. I stopped eating free cake and donuts and pizza at work. I had a terrible time on a vacation during covid because many restaurants and stores were closed and gas stations wouldn’t let me inside, so I ate meat and cheese sticks and lays potato chips to survive. Thanksgiving was hard. Gf processed food took a lot of getting used to. But I persevered, lost 40+ pounds, and felt pretty good.
Then around 2023, my doctor didn’t believe I had celiac. She was even kind of mean about it and told me to prove it or she would never chart it. I went back to my gastro doctor and asked for paperwork. The paperwork said inconclusive. I felt betrayed because they said I definitely had it. I spent so much money and gave up so much food and holidays…for nothing?
So for about a year and a half, I made up for lost time. Ate all the free food offered. Burger King came to town and I became a regular. All the southern food like fried chicken and flaky biscuits and mac and cheese I ate again. Gained my weight back. Had months of diarrhea and blamed it on Taco Bell. I felt worse and worse.
I finally decided enough was enough and I had a bunch of tests run to make sure. It cost over 5 grand because my insurance was so so. I was miserable eating gluten on purpose until my tests in September. After a colonoscopy and endoscopy and a bunch of other tests, it was found that I had Celiac, it was definite and much worse, and now I had Barrett’s Esophagus too. My doctor had taken me off prilosec a couple of years ago because she said I could get dementia. That upset the gastrointestinal team who said esophageal cancer would be so much worse.
So I stopped going to my home doctor, started protonix, and have tried my best the past 7 months, but it seems so much harder. I was too easily swayed by people telling me to just get one donut, by fast food being in my work parking lot and close to home, and by all the doctors I had to pay and dwindling gf shelves.
I tried to reward myself with virtual medals I earned miles on every time I ate gf. It helped, but didn’t stop me. I could eat gf breakfast and dinner at home, but I did terrible at work. So I quit Walmart and got me an office job where I have to bring a lunch. But my big family eats up my safe snacks so I end up buying gross tasting, gluteny, expensive food in the lunch room. I still don’t have insurance and I ran out of protonix and famotidine. I was ok until last week. I developed a horrible cough (at a call center, no less) and I started tasting blood and having horrible heartburn. I wasn’t able to eat for a couple of days. Finally my brain cleared up and I remembered that I had Barrett’s Esophagus also. I went back on famotidine and am taking tums until I can afford protonix without insurance. I feel a little better today. But I got depressed when I found out my former coworkers got a huge wage and I was drowning in debt and no insurance, so I went to McDonalds because I have absolutely no willpower and my depression is returning. I don’t know what to do. I want to do better! I want to be healthy and here for my family. I could really use some encouragement right now. Sorry this was so long.

Fire Storm

I opened my eyes. The cryogenic pod that kept me nice cool was open and my handler - Agent Zed - was tapping away at a tablet and not paying me any mind.
"What's the deal?" I asked, already feeling the oxygen in the room start to raise my skin temperature.
The Agent looked up over her dark sunglasses at me for a moment and then back down at her tablet. "The world needs you. Sign off on the insurance deduction here, ignite, then go to the coordinates."
I took her tablet and flicked past all of the digital paperwork. Boring stuff. It was why I had Zed run things for me while I was napping. Being a human wildfire was not as cool as it sounded and I couldn't be out in the open air for too long.
After checking all the boxes and looking at the incident report - a prison break in Arizona - I handed her the tablet back and took a deep breath. Filling my lungs with as much O2 as I could, I forced it all back out through my skin and...
FWOOSH!
"Alright, let's heat things up!" I flew up through the open skylight in the lab and took to the air, rocketing flames beneath me to give me the lift and thrust needed to soar. Well, 'soar' might be a tad overly graceful for how I flew. Less like a bird and more like a missile. Despite this, my title of Phoenix was still popular in the tabloids.
I circled the North-Eastern Super Talent building, taking in my years of hard work and admiring my flaming reflection in the countless windows. No one could output supers like my company and every time I took flight I reminded the world why we were the best.
Glancing at the morning sun I angled myself approximately south-west and flew off toward the Midwest. It took me about forty-five minutes to make it to Arizona at top speed, but the flight was still fun. There was so much to look at while flying below cloud level, and planes were easy to dodge. FAA fines be damned.
I saw the dark clouds on the horizon and altered my path toward it. A face began to resolve itself out of the clouds; large lighting bolts shaped a mouth and two glowing orbs formed into angry eyes.
"Ahhhhhh, if it isn't my nemesis, Phoenix!"
"Oh? Have we met?" I asked, shouting as loud as I could over the wind. My math took me directly into one of its eyes but bursting through the cloud only revealed more clouds.
Another face appeared in one of them. "Don't you remember me?"
"Clearly I don't." I tried something less physical and halted my flight. Hovering in the air I held up my hands and sent a spiraling inferno through the face, heating up the air enough to dissipate several clouds. The wind picked up but it only fueled my flames.
"Well, that's too bad!" Its voice was all around me, getting louder and louder as the air whipped up. "Because I remember you, and I remember how to extinguish your flames!"
The winds swirled around me faster and faster. I couldn't keep myself stable as the fire began to fade around me. The air was being pulled out of me. Out of my lungs! I couldn't...focus...

"Well, he's able to manipulate the air at least. Dangerous. Here, sign off on some insurance forms and approve a satellite scan. We'll find something you can burn while you're en route."
"Sounds good to me," I said, scrolling past the boring paperwork and checking off all of the boxes. Once I gave her the tablet back I took a deep breath and ignited.

2024.05.12 23:41 Prestigious-Hat9205 I Think My Mom Loves her Boyfriend More Than Me

And I think she has every right to so I can't even be upset about it. Me (18F) and my mom (55F) have a really complicated relationship. I got into hard drugs at a really young age, am quite the alcoholic, and have multiple misdemeanors. I'm on probation right now because me and my mom got into a physical fight when I was 17 when I was drunk and it landed her in the hospital (I didn't beat her up or anything it was just a bite but it got really infected). I didn't visit her because of how ashamed I was and decided to move out to my dads so she could have a better life without me and so I could stop making her life miserable. This was all about 7 months ago and since then I've made incredible progress. I've passed all my drug tests, see a therapist every 2 weeks, achieved honor roll twice, I have a job, and I've gotten into college. My mom forgives me for everything and is okay with me moving back with her but I can't out of my own fear I'll make her life miserable again. She seems so happy with her boyfriend, she came to visit me for Mother's Day at my grandparents where I'm living right now and she brought her boyfriend of 15 years. I've never had a problem with him and he's always been so nice to me. I just went to my room and cried for a while and she knew something was up so she asked me what was wrong and I just put on a fake smile and denied everything until she left me alone. All her and her boyfriend talked about was their upcoming vacation to phoenix and all I could think about is my mom promising me when I was 17 she and I would go to Japan together if I graduated highschool. She left at 3pm to go to dinner with him and all I could think about was the fancy dinner reservation I had made for tonight that she didn't want to go to because it was too late for her boyfriend to drive home later tonight so he couldn't go. His mom has passed and I feel so selfish for being upset with him. He was so nice to my dog and me and my grandparents. He's such a good person. He would never hurt her and he visited her every day in the hospital. My dad (70) is so depressed because of me too, I went to his house the other day and looked in the window and I saw a pipe and takeout and a bunch of trash. He used to be so happy and he told me he was sober. He has no other family besides me. My parents only stay because they feel bad for me and partially responsible for how awfully I turned out I know if it came down to her boyfriend or me she would choose me but she would be so so much less happy I've made them both become shells of the happy and kind people they once were and god forbid I tell either of them any of this because I've already caused too much heartache. I feel so selfish. I should be happy for her but I'm the exact opposite. Why hasn't she asked me when I'm moving back in is a question I don't need to be told to know the answer too. That's why taking an offensive lineman in the first round for the first time in 13 years made so much sense -- even though Morgan was the seventh tackle to come off the board in the first 25 picks. The only real blemish on Morgan's resume was a torn ACL late in the 2022 season. He had planned to declare for the 2023 draft if not for the injury. Instead, he returned to play in every game last season

Round 2, Pick 45 - Edgerrin Cooper, LB, Texas A&M:
NFL: Green Bay slid back and drafted a top-40 talent on my board in Cooper. He's the classic mold of what this Packers scouting staff seeks in a linebacker, possessing excellent speed, length and pursuit ability. There's a starting spot opposite Quay Walker, and I think Cooper will grab it, but both those players can play a little too freely and loosely at times.
CBS Sports: B+. Young, high-energy off-ball ‘backer. Plus range. Loves attacking downhill and very effective vs. the run. Flashed in coverage too with ball skills. But tackle reliability must improve at next level. Ultra-quick trigger. IDs plays in a flash. Some rawness but plenty of tantalizing traits.
ESPN: This pick was tailor-made for new defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley, who is overseeing a switch from a 3-4 to a 4-3 base scheme. He inherited only two starting-caliber inside backers in Quay Walker and Isaiah McDuffie after they released former All-Pro De’Vondre Campbell this offseason. This pick came after the Packers traded back from No. 41 overall with the Saints, who gave up Nos. 45, 168 (fifth round) and 190 (sixth). This after the Eagles traded up to No. 40 to take Iowa defensive back Cooper DeJean, a player once thought to be a Packers' target. He can play out of control at times and isn't a tremendous athlete, but Bullard is an intense competitor who can play multiple spots in the secondary and be a four-down player.
CBS Sports: A-. Hair-on-fire stocky safety who can align at nickel CB if needed. Takes great angles against the run and plays with reckless abandon. Runs the alley like a missile. Rarely misses a tackle. Not crazy ball hawk. Smaller with shorter arms. Just a stud football player.
ESPN: After this pick, it's fair to say Gutekunst addressed three of his biggest needs -- tackle, inside linebacker and now safety. Perhaps only cornerback would rank on the same level of need. They're essentially starting over at safety, having moved on from Darnell Savage, Jonathan Owens and Rudy Ford. They spent big on free agent Xavier McKinney, but the only other safety with any experience still on the roster was Anthony Johnson Jr., a seventh-round pick last year who played 303 defensive snaps as a rookie. "Obviously the tackle board was stacked, so we addressed that," assistant director of college scouting Pat Moore said. "Then I think Gutey took the best player available at those spots [ILB and safety]."

Round 3, Pick 88 - MarShawn Lloyd, RB, USC:
NFL: This could be Aaron Jones' replacement, even if the Packers added Josh Jacobs this offseason. Lloyd's messy medical history likely was the biggest reason he fell behind some other backs, but his burst, three-down ability and make-you-miss agility make him sort of a poor man's D'Andre Swift.
CBS Sports: A. Older but ultra-sudden thick RB with glimpses of special elusiveness. Speed is a plus to his game. Has a lot of tread left on his tires because he was low-volume back in college. Fumbling issues. Perfect speed acquisition to this stretch-run offense.
ESPN: Yes, Josh Jacobs signed a four-year, $48 million contract in free agency, but the reality of his contract says he's just going year to year. For example, he has a $5.93 million roster bonus due next March if he's still on the team. A year later, his 2025 base salary spikes to $10.2 million. This isn't to say Jacobs will be a one-and-done, but the point is they could move on and save money at any time after this season if they think Lloyd is ready to be the RB1. After letting Aaron Jones go, the Packers have rebuilt their running back room in a hurry.

Round 3, Pick 91 - Ty’Ron Hopper, LB, Missouri:
NFL: Hopper wasn't quite as productive last season for Mizzou as he was in 2022, looking a step slow a number of times. Injuries were a big reason why, and Hopper's pro day workout likely was the difference in him landing in Round 3 and not on Day 3. He has pass-rush potential and can drop in zone coverage.
CBS Sports: C+. Ultra-physical off-ball LB. Sleek, exudes athleticism and makes assertive decisions on a routine basis, particularly against the run or blitzer, where he also thrives. Best in that role or as a spy. Long way to go in coverage. Another linebacker?
ESPN: This is what happens when you switch from a 3-4 to a 4-3 defensive scheme. In fact, Gutekunst didn't hide the fact that he would have to add to the inside linebacker room when, earlier this offseason, he said they will "be a little bit more heavy there, so we're going to have to add some numbers." So drafting Hopper in the third round after taking Cooper in the second round shouldn't have come as a major surprise. Hafley now has some options when it comes to deciding who will line up next to Walker at inside linebacker.

Round 4, Pick 111 - Evan Williams, S, Oregon:
NFL: Williams grew on me as the pre-draft process went on. He might not be special in any way, but he's extremely solid and assignment-sound. He might never be a big playmaker, but Williams can hit and will work to earn some kind of role.
CBS Sports: B-. Not a tremendous athlete but does everything well that teams ask out of a multi-dimensional safety today. Keeps throttle down when flying to outside runs, will make an occasional play in coverage. Not a twitchy nickel type. Best in box or robbing middle of the field. Energy exudes from his playing style. Just not a big-time physical specimen.
ESPN: Gutekunst has never been afraid to double up at a position. He's now done it twice in the first four rounds after taking the two inside linebackers on Friday. He traded up to take his second safety, giving up a sixth-rounder (No. 190 overall, that they got from the Saints a day earlier) to move up from No. 126. There will be an all-out competition for the second safety spot next to Xavier McKinney among Johnson Jr., Bullard and Williams -- who posted some impressive blitzing numbers with 4.5 sacks last season (third-most among FBS defensive backs) and 17 quarterback pressures since the start of 2022 (tied for 10th most among FBS DBs).

Round 5, Pick 163 - Jacob Monk, C, Duke:
NFL: Monk played center, guard and tackle over five seasons with the Blue Devils but likely projects to center in the NFL. He's smart and competitive and has above-average athleticism in a smaller frame.
CBS Sports: A-. Hyper-experienced, legitimately versatile blocker who probably plays center or guard at the next level. Athleticism and acceleration off the snap instantly stand out. Doesn’t have immense size or length but can win with quickness or power against smaller upfield rushers. Classic Packers pick. He’ll be a useful depth option for a while.
ESPN: Gutekunst said after taking Morgan in the first round: "You can't have guys that can only play one spot. That's very hard to do. It just puts a lot of stress on your group." Monk embodies that versatility. He began his five-year college career -- which included 58 starts -- at right tackle, moved to right guard for two years and has gone back and forth between center and right guard the last two years. He was one of only seven FBS players with at least 300 snaps at both center and guard last season. Gutekunst traded up five spots with the Buffalo Bills and gave up a sixth-round pick (No. 219 overall).

NFL: Oladapo is a nicely proportioned athlete with outstanding length and enough athleticism to be tried as a safety or even a zone corner. He's a bit older but can make his mark at multiple spots because of his willingness to tackle.
CBS Sports: A. Very similar to Jaden Hicks who went a round earlier. Large, strong safety body type but fluid and instinctive in coverage. Could play with a tick more energy but his methodical style keeps him out of trouble re: missing tackles or being baited by misdirection. Huge interception radius. Speed is good, not great. Sound tackler.
ESPN: This should complete the overhaul at safety after the Packers signed Xavier McKinney in free agency and picked two other safeties (Bullard in Round 2 and Williams in Round 4) previously in this draft. The Packers moved on from three safeties who each played at least 500 snaps last season (Darnell Savage, Jonathan Owens and Rudy Ford). After starting his career as a walk-on, Oladapo earned second-team All-Pac 12 honors in 2023 when he did not allow a single touchdown pass in 421 coverage snaps.

CBS Sports: B+. Wide offensive tackle with the frame of a guard but plenty of length. Smooth athleticism for his size and loves to mash at the second level. Balance is good but can get a little overzealous in pass pro. Hand work and punch timing are solid. Another classic Packers pick. Versatile.
ESPN: Stop if you've heard this before: the Packers took another versatile lineman who has lined up at multiple positions. Glover played both tackle spots and left guard in college. He's considered to have a high upside considering his 6-foot-6, 323-pound frame.

Round 7, Pick 245 - Michael Pratt, QB, Tulane:
NFL: If it's me, I am drafting Pratt before both Jordan Travis and Devin Leary, and the Packers aren't afraid to keep investing in QB talents. From the Green Wave to Green Bay, Pratt is good enough to push Sean Clifford to the side and become Jordan Love's understudy -- perhaps as soon as this year -- with his cool, calm, patient approach and quality accuracy.
CBS Sports: B+. Experienced pocket passer with quality arm who was consistent producer at Tulane across multiple seasons. Lights were never too bright for him. Has some improvisational flair to his game. Just not ultra accurate.
ESPN: Gutekunst said he wanted the Packers to get back into the business of drafting and developing (and then possibly trading) quarterbacks. He's now taken one on Day 3 for the second straight year after picking Sean Clifford in the fifth round last year. Clifford served as Love's backup last season, but it appears he'll have to battle for the job again. Pratt, a four-year starter at Tulane and the 11th quarterback selected this year, went 21-3 as a starter the last two seasons.

NFL: You can find King's name scattered in some August mock drafts, but his stock continually tumbled after he struggled to match his 2022 performance, didn't test well athletically for his size and lost some Senior Bowl battles. But in the seventh round? King is well worth the small gamble here.
CBS Sports: B+. Previously had RD1 hype but had a disastrous 2023. Athletic chops are there. Has impressive highs just not a natural mirroring type. Plays chippy and throws his weight around against the run.
ESPN: Going into the draft, there was some thought that the Packers could take a corner early -- even as high as the first round. Instead, they waited until their final pick to take one. They seemed to hit on seventh-round cornerback Carrington Valentine last year. King played 84% of his snaps on the outside, splitting it about evenly between the right and left sides.

I'm someone from outside the US who has been keeping in the election (I'm considering moving to the US). From my understanding, both candidates are fairly unpopular, most people would prefer to have literally anyone else running for president, and even relatively small advantages and disadvantages could swing the election in either candidates' favour.
Now, I've heard people suggesting that Biden could easily win Goergia because of the growing Atlanta metro area: he won the state by less than 12,000 votes, but its population rose by over 217,000 as of 2023 estimates, and since most of the people moving to Atlanta are probably New York Liberals priced out of their home state, it could be safe to assume Biden is going to have a easier time (also taking into account that Brian Kemp doesn't seem very keen on supporting Trump).
IMO Arizona could easily swing too with their attempt to implement an abortion ban based on an 1864 court ruling, but the Phoenix metro area hasn't grown quite as much so I wouldn't count too much on it.
Still, as someone outside the US, there's definitely some nuances I'm missing out on.
