Hey all, getting up to speed on this ... and I'm curious to hear from some real world users - how is it?
I'm looking to bail on an Alienware M17 R4 in favor of the Book4 Ultra - Ultra 9. It's a combo of a home use machine (general purposes), along with being a gaming rig. I wouldn't normally consider Samsung in the arena of gaming machines, but seems to be getting pretty solid reviews (minus the price point).
The big draw for me is that I am largely in the Samsung ecosystem elsewhere, have their financing, and get employee discounts. Still, it's more expensive than the other big players. I'm hoping for a memorial day sale.
I've seen some random posts here and there about touchpad issues. I would rarely ever use the touchpad on this, and I have the same problem on my Galaxy Chromebook (they fixed once, issue is back). Are there any other known big issues out there to consider? Lack of RGB/Ethernet is a bummer and would have prefered a 4080/4090 ... but has a lot of other strong points going for it. Just not yet sure that cost of entry is justified.

Some background, I was unemployed for 4 months because I had to leave my last job due to what happened to me. It's left me with very little trust and I went into a severe depression after what happened... so I know I'm not in the best mind frame.
I accepted an esthetics position almost an hour away from where I live. The position is in Westchester. Pay is $120 for the day, 20% on services and 10% on products. Okay, I felt that was decent. I only trained with her for 2 weeks at maybe 3 days a week because I have 12 years experience and she really needed me on the schedule. I was very excited to start, but felt uneasy after I had to sit and watch almost 5 facials 1 day, but whatever, she's type A control, methodical and I need a damn job.
I started taking clients and realized how inexpensive services are. $85 for a regular facial, $115 for a vitamin C peel, etc. My waxing services are also not that expensive. Mind you, my specialty is waxing, and she knows this. I was very disappointed and I felt that since I have a lot of experience, my services should be a little more. She has a tier system, and I was placed at tier 1. Tier 2, is the services range from $10- $20 more. On top of the obvious duties of performing services, we're also reception. So we do emails, phone calls, scheduling, check in/out, cleaning, inventory and stocking. Okay, fine. It's a lot but it is what it is. I also found a letter from the old employee I replaced saying she did not want to enter a contract with my employer to be placed up a tier. That definitely didn't sit well with me. No one should have to be contracted to receive a raise if they're doing good work.
Anyway, this lady has been saying she's increasing service prices and products... okay cool, maybe I'll start to get a little more mula and I'll stick with this as long as I can, because the commute isn't for me anymore but again, survival. We have our meeting for her to fill us in on pricing, she didn't necessarily say how much services were going up, but I'd venture to say anywhere from $10-$20...because anything more would be a massive jump. She's dropping our service commission. Instead of 20% we will all be at 18%. Then said that allows room for growth so maybe in a year we can go up to 19% and longer, 20%.
Thank God I called out because I would've kicked this woman in her camel and left. I was on the meeting via phone because I called out sick, and still did this fucking meeting. I've had it. I feel so disgusted and disrespected at this point by people in this industry. We're keeping our 10% on products which is also going up, but it doesn't sit right with me. Aside from the other 2 women I work with being there maybe 2 years...thats shitty. But as for me, a 12 year veteran wjth extensive knowledge and skill, who you have received nothing but amazing reviews about, who can do a Brazilian in less than 20 minutes with soft wax, who's trained on manzillians, who's absolutely killing products sales.... you fuckin selfish bitch. That's how I feel. I feel beyond betrayed and looked down. And I've just fucking had it.
And the woman has hyped us up about making more money for over 2 weeks... seriously

I've wanted a Cricut for years, and my best friend's bachelorette trip to Montreal was the perfect excuse to finally make the plunge (plus a helpful redditor on this page who alerted me to a super sale on Explore 2 machines that Target had last month!). Since it's in Montreal, I tried to add French touches, with the overall theme being ribbons, pearls, bubbles, etc.
Used Cricut Explore 2 to make the projects in these pictures: Hangover recovery kit, wine charms on tags cut/drawn using Cricut, HTV for custom koozies, letter sign (will punch holes to hang from string), and shadow text monograms on permanent vinyl for personalized pool bags.

Below are the games I have for sale. The number in brackets refers to the condition of the item based on the 5 point grading system used in this subreddit (check the post formatting guide for details). All games will be shipped through UPS and buyer pays packing and shipping.
Procedure and Payment:
Games will be brought to UPS store to determine the packing and shipping price and then packed and shipped from there. Some games may already be packed if new. I will request a phone number to be able to text the buyer pictures, information, and updates on when I'm going to UPS and when to deliver payment.
Payment accepted through Paypal Goods and Services. Payment will be accepted after final shipping cost is calculated and before the shipment is sent off. Buyer will then receive a picture of the receipt with tracking number and the expected delivery date.
Buyers who wish to use their own labels can potentially create them and email me the file to print. I can do this if the items to be shipped are not exceptionally large or numerous as I would have to bring them to UPS to be weighed and measured for boxing. Alternatively, if the game is new and still in shipping box, I can take the measurements myself and the weight is usually listed on the shipping box.

I have an SEF MAS-12 that I am interested in selling. I am also in California (not sure if this helps) but I have called SMP+ because that is where I bought the machine but I guess they stopped the consignment part of there store. I am looking to get rid of the machine quickly as I have no room and medical bills from my recent car accident.
Is there any place that you all know of that would be a good starting point for selling quickly? I have it posted on offer up, craigslist, and varagesale for the slow sale but just interested to see if theres somewhere else I am missing or have not thought of yet!

2024.05.14 21:27 Lost-Investigator266 With 4th gen drawing to a close, how would you order the most popular girl groups?

The title basically. Now that "5th gen" has either begun or is about to begin according to many, why not take a look back and see how everything is with the dust settled.

1) New Jeans: Amidst the uncertainty, they're still huge for the time being (and hopefully will remain that way in the future). Ditto/Hype Boy are the biggest hits of the gen in Korea, and both are experiencing insane longevity. Five of their songs have already hit the Billboard Hot 100.

2) Aespa: In second because they have the biggest fanbase by far, and achieved the highest sales of the gen with "My World". Also, the only group thus far to fill the Tokyo Dome. Have the smash hit Next Level under their belt, one of the biggest songs of fourth gen.

3) Le Sserafim: Grown very quickly in the past 6 months, with Perfect Night, Easy and their Coachella performance. Consistently good in Korean charts (scored their first weekly #1 with Perfect Night), and achieved their first BB Hot 100 with Easy.

4) Ive: They're a hit MACHINE in Korea, simply automatic, comeback after comeback. The only thing that places them this low is the lack of an international fanbase.

5) (G)I-dle: They don't really stack up the groups above, but they're still doing quite well for themselves.

Overall, I think all of these groups are trailblazers in their own way.
