2024.05.16 11:39 kiwasabi LGBTQ+ The Plus Stands For Pedophile: The Illuminati is coming for your kids with Drag Queen/ Groomer Clown Story Hour, books in elementary school libraries which depict and normalize sex between children and adults. Transgenderism is pushed because Baphomet possesses both breasts and a male phallus
| INTRODUCTION: To anyone with eyes that are able to see, it's very obvious that LGBTQ+ is a social engineering and mind control propaganda weapon being waged against all of humanity by the Illuminati. There are many reasons for this endless onslaught of pushing and overnormalizing everything that is gay, trans, and pedophilic. The Illuminati itself is comprised of around 13 bloodlines which are all hereditary incestuous and pedophilic families. So when you hear their puppets telling the joke "The Aristocrats" (LINK) which consists of so called comedians telling the most disgusting tale of an Aristocratic bloodline family having sex with each other and ending with "And they're called The Aristocrats", you'll know they're utilizing Revelation of the Method and putting it right out in the open as a "joke". The Illuminati utilizes Satanic Ritual Abuse and pedophilic incest in order to deliberately cause trauma to their progeny so that they can split their personalities and then program and control the new personality. This is called Project Monarch Trauma Based Mind Control. It was under Josef Mengele and the Nazis where this hereditary incest form of mind control was scientifically studied using the child prisoners of Auschwitz, most commonly with twin girls. After World War 2 and the fall of the Nazis, via Operation Paperclip, 1400 Nazi scientists and engineers were saved from the Nuremberg Trials via the Vatican Rat Line and were smuggled out of Germany into the United States, where they would go on to form the backbone of the Central Intelligence Agency and continue their Monarch Mind Control research. What's left out from the history books is that Josef Mengele "The Angel of Death" was also smuggled out of Nazi Germany and continued his horrific mind control research on twin girls for decades in the United States. What does this all have to do with LGBTQ+? Well, basically that joke "The Aristocrats" is the endgoal and endgame for all of Earth humanity. It's my theory that The Illuminati wants to normalize pedophilia to the point where a parent is required to encourage their children to engage in sexual relationships with grown adults. And if the parent pushes back on this abomination, The Illuminati wants to be able to take possession of the children via CPS Child Protective Services, "for their own safety" of course. BAPHOMET IS TRANSGENDER: One of the reasons in which the Illuminati is so obsessed with the unnatural concept of transgenderism is because their demon god Baphomet is generally depicted as possessing both female breasts and a male phallus. On public statues of Baphomet such as at Satanic Temples, he (or is that he/she?) is depicted without breasts due to public decency laws. Once you understand that The Illuminati worships a transgender demon god, then you'll understand why they want your children to be gay and trans. Oh yeah, and did you notice the American Medical Association symbol coming out of Baphomet's crotch? How did that get there? Now does it make sense why it has wings as well? https://preview.redd.it/jo74m4ybkp0d1.jpg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d9d23860fada0f893545ec59cd2f9861811bbff9 https://preview.redd.it/oatdlf64ar0d1.png?width=332&format=png&auto=webp&s=8be61945a59d912098cb3452b64d315c8102cec1 Now does it make sense why Target was selling a LGBTQ Transgender children's sweater with the Baphomet symbol on it? (LINK) SATAN'S RAINBOW: https://preview.redd.it/g4btql1t9r0d1.jpg?width=552&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6226bea836ac5ae09694acecf1217c57acb9b927 SEX IN LGBTQ SCHOOL LIBRARY BOOKS: When I was growing up, I do recall reading some books such as Catcher in the Rye which did contain some sexual themes and profanity. However, in recent years the sexualization of children has been thoroughly ramped up via LGBTQ propaganda in the form of sexually explicit school library books. Children are still trying to figure out who they really are as a person, and by indoctrinating them with gender confusion propaganda at such a young age we are ensuring they will be steered in the wrong direction. Which is of course exactly what The Powers That Be really want. By the way, when I was searching for examples of LGBTQ books with sexual content, I had to scroll through 3 pages of LGBTQ apologist articles decrying about all these "banned LGBTQ books". What's interesting is that all of these CIA Mockingbird Media propaganda articles always say the books are being banned for their LGBTQ content, not for their explicit sexual content (which doesn't necessarily have to be gay or trans in any way). For instance, ABC News "Report: LGBTQ content drove book banning efforts in 2023" (LINK) and NBC News "More than half of 2023's most challenged books have LGBTQ themes" (LINK). Note how they're obfuscating the sexually inappropriate content by calling it "LGBTQ themes" instead. Perhaps this is The Illuminati actually revealing the truth out in the open, that "LGBTQ content" actually means sexually inappropriate content which is directed at children? Let's call LGBTQ elementary school library books what they really are: the sexualization and grooming of children by predators and pedophiles. Sexualizing Schoolchildren: Classroom and Library Books (LINK) "Parent and Child Loudoun reviewed and listed hundreds of age-inappropriate, sexually confusing, explicit, objectionable, and profane books that were placed in schools in classrooms and libraries in their district. Here are just a few examples: - When Kayla was Kyle, by Amy Fabrikant – An elementary school picture book about a boy who “transitions” into a girl.
- Teach Me, by R.A. Nelson – The “young adult” (YA) novel tells the story of a 16-year-old girl and her seduction and statutory rape by her male high school teacher.
- All Out: The No-Longer-Secret Stories of Queer Teens Throughout the Ages by S. Mitchell – The book in middle and high school libraries contains sexually explicit and homosexual content.
- Dear Rachel Maddow,by A. Kisner – Another YA novel where the lesbian-identified protagonist, from a troubled home, writes emails to the stabilizing force in her life – MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow*. Contains some sexual content and more than 100 uses of profanity."*
Dearborn parents assail LGBTQ books with sexual themes at school hearing (LINK) "The books in question are largely teen and young adult stories involving romance or sexual abuse, often with LGBTQ themes. Several were critically acclaimed. They include: - “Eleanor & Park” by Rainbow Rowell, about a romance involving two 10th-graders. The girl lives with domestic violence at home and both teens struggle with traditional gender roles. The novel contains profanity.
- “Red, White & Royal Blue” by Casey McQuiston; a novel about a romance between the U.S. President’s bisexual son and a gay British royal*, both in their early 20s.* The book has some sex scenes and coarse language.
- “This Book is Gay” by Juno Dawson, an irreverent, nonfiction handbook on growing up LGBTQ, addressing issues like coming out, sex apps and sexually transmitted disease."
SATAN SUPPORTS PRONOUNS: Target Sells Trans Clothing to Children Designed by Satanic Transgender (LINK) A clothing line as part of Target's LGBTQ children's products was designed by a Satanist female to male transgender named Erik Kallen, under the brand name Abprallen. There were only three products being marketed by the Abprallen brand, and none of them depicted the blatant Satanic imagery that was shared around the internet as part of a hoax with AI generated images (LINK). However, as I pointed out above, one of the sweatshirts in the collection does contain the Baphomet symbol. And it doesn't take much exploring of Abprallen's Instagram profile to find some unsettling content (LINK). Erik Kallen made a statement saying, "My work was likely pulled following false accusations of being a Satanist and marketing my work to children, both claims have been debunked numerous times but members of the religious right refuse to back down". https://preview.redd.it/7pdsq8r54q0d1.jpg?width=912&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d46c8d192bc50043e378c7be2d18fd162d67746c Claims that you were a Satanist were thoroughly debunked, you say? Which "Guardian Angel" (Demon) is a transgender again? Oh yeah, Baphomet. And what were you doing at the Satanic Flea Market in London? Also, I thought you said "Satan Respects Pronouns"? https://preview.redd.it/ferg6lr75q0d1.jpg?width=912&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5beef8365b280f2a9c251a2c396f1fcb0ad9df54 https://preview.redd.it/zpoyqsc96q0d1.jpg?width=728&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=67c22356d03ab50bea569d083afec37d10af5805 "I'm gay, trans, and a secret third thing..." Does anyone care to guess what is meant by that? "I support gay wrongs", "Gay supervillain", "Make More Gay Horror Movies". https://preview.redd.it/w9lkj8et6q0d1.jpg?width=912&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=749874db6545c8fc670af031a46259f0912e7703 Take "Poppers" to open your "Third Eye" (Hint: He doesn't mean your pineal gland....he means your butthole"). Illuminati confirmed. https://preview.redd.it/u3q7z0028q0d1.jpg?width=892&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=80dfd6b11268122d8c367867aa67782c8effeeea https://preview.redd.it/s047iqvm8q0d1.jpg?width=892&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bbb51efe6a51b224d87aa937e5aac520dda684ee https://preview.redd.it/bx4ewlx49q0d1.jpg?width=716&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6fcc28213453c8c6a88db6caec3663c1ef4fe003 https://preview.redd.it/r72gurpi9q0d1.jpg?width=892&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=611d83691ff3850796f873f2480f98f65ed50ed5 https://preview.redd.it/tmtv1dp0aq0d1.jpg?width=892&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=26615b9946de7722d59dca3be75a0145b9771956 As far as I'm concerned, all the claims about Erik Callen being a Satanist and marketing products to children have been thoroughly UNDEBUNKED just based on his products and post history on Instagram. This to me is clearly a case of classic bait and switch. Market some seemingly innocent "trans inclusive" clothing to children, get them hooked on the Abprallen brand while they're young, then "transition" them to the more seedy and shady product offerings. Based on the products and images shown above, can this really be considered a gender identity? Or is this more appropriately categorized as a mental illness and a cult? The embracing of confusion. The final culmination of the "Nothing is real" mind control psy op social engineering. Now literally GENDER ISN'T REAL. And "Men can get pregnant". "MEN CAN GET PREGNANT" As I previously posted, Arnold Schwarzenegger was replaced by an imposter in a mask wearing heavy facial prosthetics in 1990 (LINK). As part of the Illuminati's ongoing Ritual Mocking of the Victim / Humiliation Ritual against the name and image of Arnold Schwarzenegger, in 1994 the fake Arnold Schwarzenegger was placed into a travesty of a film called Junior (1994). As you can see from the film's poster, "Nothing is inconceivable". What a funny pun, right? They mean "conceive" as in conceiving and giving birth to a baby.... Except by a man. Ten years before that in 1984, Bob Saget was already joking about how, "men can breast feed", but at least he admitted he made it up (LINK). Once you understand that a core tenet of Satanism is to reverse the natural order, you'll understand why they want to normalize the completely unnatural idea that, "Men can get pregnant". This is a direct attack on women, men, children, and humanity as a whole. This is an attack on motherhood and gender roles. This is an attack on the family. This is a direct attack on your sanity. And as I've shown here, this has been planned for at least 40 years. The movie Junior from 1994 is a prime example of the Illuminati Revelation of the Method, where they put out their plans right in the open and as long as we laugh and don't consciously object to them, then it means we have subconsciously accepted them. Junior is also a prime example of why the Illuminati would be motivated to replace an actor with an imposter. Here we have a movie that the real Arnold Schwarzenegger absolutely never would have signed on to star in. But since the real Arnold was killed and replaced, he was unable to object to his name and likeness being used in this atrocity of a film. Thus, Arnold Schwarzenegger was used against his will to push an evil agenda of the Illuminati while simultaneously being ritually humiliated by giving birth to a child and essentially being turned into a woman on screen. Notice the screenshots where he has let his hair grow out and he's wearing a pink outfit (dress?) with glasses and pearl necklaces. Does anyone really believe that Arnold Schwarzenegger would have ever stooped this low at the peak of his career? https://preview.redd.it/dchs07c2eq0d1.jpg?width=1425&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ab849bbd8ad73659cbf353d4788914e1527edfe5 https://preview.redd.it/ex6c2k1geq0d1.jpg?width=1050&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=84731bec091800df7b9ab70ddc7d313d808bc70e https://preview.redd.it/opfk3j3ziq0d1.jpg?width=1280&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1b3266508272a8c7ce0e099902b6cc8715346017 MINOR ATTRACTED PERSON / PEDOPHILE FLAG: On June 13th 2018, a user on Tumblr created a flag for the NOMAP (Non Offending Minor Attracted Person) community. (LINK) Around June 12th 2018, an artist named Daniel Quasar updated the LGBTQ to add the colors light blue, light pink, and white to represent the Transgender Pride Flag colors. (LINK) These added stripes to the LGBTQ flag do not represent transgenderism. They represent pedophilia. Light blue represents attraction to young boys. Light pink represents attraction to young girls. The white stripe represents attraction to virginity. Coincidence theorists will have a field day on this one. https://preview.redd.it/3vih368tmq0d1.jpg?width=1019&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e09e7fc60a833a24de638d527b061a4ce7e64570 https://preview.redd.it/zvbv2pkvmq0d1.png?width=399&format=png&auto=webp&s=43f924c9dbe068ad232f45b1b0a861ce01872a36 "WE'RE COMING FOR YOUR CHILDREN": I've really liked this idea of no longer referring to them as "Drag Queens", but instead as "Groomer Clowns", since that's what they really are. Also, these people do not reproduce, which is why they are forced to recruit instead. Drag Queens at a march in New York were recorded as chanting "We're here, we're queer, we're coming for your children". In Florida, a Gay Pride parade was cancelled after it was made illegal to perform adult lewd performances in front of children. If they aren't coming for the children, then why the need to cancel the Gay Pride parade when the Groomer Clowns couldn't perform in front of children? Finally, the third link is about a homosexual couple who raped, filmed, and sex trafficked their two young adopted sons to other pedophiles. https://preview.redd.it/fcn48gosqq0d1.jpg?width=597&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=29e1a9f8d97d52a858e7e3ed8f95db3368f4d72d https://preview.redd.it/vr4rav30rq0d1.jpg?width=700&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e80d4063e16b7ae24c537b238630364b48ab0741 Video of Drag Marchers Chanting 'We're Coming For Your Children' Goes Viral (LINK) ***"*** A video showing people chanting "we're coming for your children" has gone viral, sparking outrage on social media. New York City kicked off the last weekend of Pride Month with its annual Drag March on Friday". (LINK) Hundreds of drag performers marched through Manhattan's East Village in elaborate costumes on their way to the iconic Stonewall Inn. Video showing some of the march's participants chanting, "we're here, we're queer, we're coming for your children" Gay pride parade canceled in southeast Florida after anti-drag show law passes (LINK) "Officials in a southeast Florida city have canceled a gay pride parade and restricted other pride events to people 21 years and older in anticipation of Gov. Ron D. signing a bill meant to keep children out of drag shows. The Florida House sent Ron D. a bill Wednesday that bans children from adult performances, a proposal aimed at the governor’s opposition to drag shows. The legislation, which awaits the governor's signature, would allow the state to revoke the food and beverage licenses of businesses that admit children to adult performances. The Ron D. administration has moved to pull the liquor license of a Miami hotel that hosted a Christmas drag show, alleging children were present during "lewd" displays." Gay couple charged with molesting their adopted sons also pimped them out to pedophile ring, report claims (LINK) "A gay couple from Georgia charged with molesting their two adopted sons and using them to record child porn also allegedly pimped them out to members of a local pedophile ring, according to a disturbing new report. A months-long investigation by Townhall revealed that William Dale Zulock, 33, and Zachary Jacoby Zulock, 35, allegedly used social media to prostitute their two elementary-aged sons. William Zulock, a government worker, and Zachary Zulock, a banker, were indicted in August 2022 on charges of incest, aggravated sodomy, aggravated child molestation, felony sexual exploitation of children and felony prostitution of a minor. But the shocking investigation reveals in more detail the sickening abuse the boys suffered. For the first time, it was revealed that the men allegedly pimped out their older sons, now 11 and 9 years old, to two other men in a pedophile ring. One of the men, Hunter Clay Lawless, 27, told investigators that Zachary — whose Instagram bio describes him as “Papa to our two wonderful boys” and an “activist” — invited him “multiple times” to take part in sexually abusing the boys, Townhall reported." HOMOSEXUALITY AND PEDOPHILIA: Homosexuality and Child Sexual Abuse (LINK) ***"*** Homosexuals are overrepresented in child sex offenses: Individuals from the 1 to 3 percent of the population that is sexually attracted to the same sex are committing up to one-third of the sex crimes against children. Homosexual Pedophiles are Vastly Overrepresented in Child Sex Abuse Cases Homosexual pedophiles sexually molest children at a far greater rate compared to the percentage of homosexuals in the general population. A study in the Journal of Sex Research found, as we have noted above, that “approximately one-third of [child sex offenders] had victimized boys and two-thirds had victimized girls.” The authors then make a prescient observation: “Interestingly, this ratio differs substantially from the ratio of gynephiles (men who erotically prefer physically mature females) to androphiles (men who erotically prefer physically mature males), which is at least 20 to 1.”[17] In other words, although heterosexuals outnumber homosexuals by a ratio of at least 20 to 1, homosexual pedophiles commit about one-third of the total number of child sex offenses. Similarly, the Archives of Sexual Behavior also noted that homosexual pedophiles are significantly overrepresented in child sex offence cases: The best epidemiological evidence indicates that only 2 to 4 percent of men attracted to adults prefer men (ACSF Investigators, 1992; Billy et al.,1993; Fay et al.,1989; Johnson et al.,1992); in contrast, around 25 to 40 percent of men attracted to children prefer boys (Blanchard et al.,1999; Gebhard et al.,1965; Mohr et al.,1964). Thus, the rate of homosexual attraction is 6 to 20 times higher among pedophiles.” PEDOPHILIA AND PARASITES: Parasite Pill 2.0 https://archive.org/details/parasite-pill-2.0 For those who really want to do some serious research, there's an 181 page document titled Parasite Pill (version) 2.0 which goes in depth about a theory that pedophilia may be linked to a mind controlled parasite such as toxoplasmosis. And that the parasite basically has a better chance of survival when infected into a younger victim with a still developing immune system. Plus the parasite breeds within the intestines. So it's theorized that this is why sodomy with children may be preferred by the parasite for reproduction. Also it's speculated that essentially the parasitic elites are LITERALLY PARASITES, as they are being mind controlled by brain parasites and this is why they all engage in sodomy with one another. The initiation ritual of being sodomized by all the upper ranking Illuminati members may also serve the purpose of ensuring that the cult's respective parasites are all passed on effectively to new recruits. Oh yeah, and the real reason they don't want anyone taking Ivermectin is because it destroys the parasites which are our secret masters. https://preview.redd.it/3g7a1jrbwq0d1.png?width=653&format=png&auto=webp&s=ce403537c123741bbd259b0a4be215695e7966cb CISGENDER? SIS, YOU'RE SIC(K) AND A SISSY: Elon Musk’s X now treats the term ‘cisgender’ as a slur on the platform (LINK) On June 20 2023, Elon Musk tweeted out that the term "cisgender" would now be treated as a slur on Twitter / X. On May 15th 2024, this promise was made into a reality. Attempting to post with the word "cis" or "cisgender" results in the user being given a warning and the option to delete the tweet. This event today was what got me to finally sit down and pump out this post which has been sitting in my brain simmering for years. This also made me think about the real meaning of the term "Cis" which basically means "Normal" or "Same Gender As Assigned At Birth". "Cis" is pronounced the same as "Sis" (Sister), and can be expanded to "Cissy" / "Sissy" (Wimp). Also, "Cis" backwards is "Sic" or "Sick". So basically when you're called "Cis" gender, you're being called a woman, a wimp, and sick, all because you chose to remain a heterosexual during this assault on what it means to be a human. "Cis" is a CIA Tavistock style social engineering term which is meant to discourage you from being straight, and it's trying to bully you into the LGBTQ lifestyle (or is that "death style" since they don't reproduce?). "Cis" is an abnormal and weaponized term which was created to make what's natural seem unnatural, and to make what's normal sound abnormal. I would argue terms "gender normative" and "breeders" are also similar weaponized social engineering terms meant to covertly psychologically wage warfare against heterosexuality. GET THEM WHILE THEY'RE YOUNG: A recent study of 139 dysphoric male children who were monitored from age 7 up until age 20 showed that 87.8 percent of the boys grew out of this phase and reverted back to identifying as their birth gender by the time they were adults. And in other related news, a couple in Montana have claimed that the Montana CFS (Child and Family Services) have taken custody of their 14 year old daughter for refusing her gender affirming care. So now does it make sense why The Illuminati has to "get them while they're young"? Does it make sense why The Illuminati is pumping out so much gender confusion and LGBTQ propaganda into the brains of young and impressionable minds? It's because they are DELIBERATELY confusing children about their gender, and while they're still young and impressionable, they seek to prey on their confusion by pushing them to "change their gender" AKA mutilate their genitals, which is an irreversible procedure. Also, the powers that be are setting the precedent that parents who are not being "inclusive" and "open minded" by letting their children mutilate their genitals, that the state can then physically repossess your child from you, by saying it's CHILD ABUSE that you won't let them MUTILATE THEIR GENITALS. The Luciferians seek to reverse all that is natural, and they want us all to be like their demon god Baphomet. They are coming for your kids, and you'd better push back. Vast Majority of Gender Dysphoric Boys Desist, Long-Term Study Finds (LINK) *"* A long-term follow-up of male children with gender dysphoria has found that most study participants desisted over time and accepted themselves as boys. The groundbreaking study used the largest sample to date of boys referred to clinics for gender dysphoria. “A Follow-Up Study of Boys With Gender Identity Disorder” was published in the peer-viewed journal Frontiers in Psychology, and the research protocol was reviewed and approved by Clarke Institute of Psychiatry (now the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health) and the University of Toronto. Study participants were 139 male children assessed in the Gender Identity Service, Child, Youth, and Family Program at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in Toronto between 1975 and 2009. 63.3% of the boys met DSM-III, III-R, or IV criteria for gender identity disorder (GID), while the rest of the 36.7% were subthreshold for a DSM diagnosis. Researchers first assessed the children at approximately age 7, following up with participants when they reached adolescence and again in early adulthood. At follow-up, researchers classified participants as persisters (which the study defines as “boys who continued to have gender dysphoria”) or desisters (boys who did not continue to have gender dysphoria), and deduced their sexual orientation based on fantasy and behavior. Researchers found that 17 (12.2%) of the participants persisted in their gender dysphoria, and the remaining 122 (87.8%) desisted." Montana parents say they lost custody of daughter after opposing 14-year-old’s gender transition: report (LINK) "Montana family claims they lost custody of their 14-year-old child after opposing her interest in changing genders — and while the governor’s office defended the move, it stressed to The Post that the state does not remove minors to provide gender transition services. The state’s Child and Family Services (CFS) reportedly took custody of the teen from her father, Todd Kolstad, and stepmother, Krista, this month, leading the parents to speak out about how the action has “destroyed” their family and “trampled” their rights. They showed up at our home to serve us with papers to take Jennifer out of our care,” Kolstad alleged. “They told me the reason was that we were ‘unable or refusing to provide medical care.’ That’s just not true.” Jennifer returned in September to a Montana youth facility, where she remains. Earlier this month, a court put the teen in the custody of CFS, Reduxx reported. “We were told that letting Jennifer transition and live as a boy was in her ‘therapeutic best interest’ and because we aren’t willing to follow that recommendation, the court gave CFS custody of Jennifer for six months,” Kolstad told the outlet." AUTISM, TRANSGENDERISM AND TRANSHUMANISM: Transgender and nonbinary people are up to six times more likely to have autism (LINK) This article title really says it all. There's a clear link between autism and transgenderism. So now does it make sense why autism is deliberately created via aluminum in the vaccines and in deodorant, chemtrails, etc? Autism also makes a person more compatible with Artificial Intelligence according to a book called The Autism Epidemic: Transhumanism's Dirty Little Secret (LINK). Supposedly the type of brainwaves produced by an autistic brain are more similar to how Artificial Intelligence processes data than a normal brain. Basically the endgoal of the entire Illuminati LGBTQ and transgender agenda is transhumanism, which is the merging of humans with technology. Part of that agenda ties into transgenderism since if they can get you to mutilate your genitals and get you to change your whole gender identity, then getting you to put a neural chip implant in your head isn't much further to go. The endgoal of the New World Order is to turn you into a gay genderless cyborg who is completely mind controlled by brain microchips. This is why when you choose to support the woke agendas and official narratives, that you're literally choosing The Matrix, because merging us with machines, mind controlling us and creating a completely false reality in our heads is exactly where the woke rabbit hole leads. CONCLUSION: "We're here, we're queer, get used to it". We did get used to it. And then we let you legalize Gay Marriage, but still you wouldn't stop pushing us. So how far does the Satanic LGBTQ agenda have to push us before they will leave us alone? Well, they aren't planning on leaving us alone. LGBTQ is a major component of the New World Order. The end goal of LGBTQ is to openly normalize pedophilia, incest, bestiality, and all other sexual perversions since this is what "The Aristocrats" (The Illuminati families) actually take part in themselves. And they bully us into compliance by using terms like "Inclusive" and "Tolerance", which are weaponized social engineering terms that are used to beat us into submission of their depraved agendas. You're no longer straight or heterosexual, you're now "Cis" (Sis/Sick/Sissy), "Gender Normative" and a "Breeder". The Illuminati has made it a thoughtcrime for any person to remain straight and normal in this times of great deceit. Is it any wonder then that nearly 30 percent of all Generation Z adults now identify as LGBTQ? (LINK) This post is the culmination of my years of research on multiple topics which all tie into pedophilia, LGBTQ, transgenderism, autism, transhumanism, and the New World Order. I hereby pass onto you all the knowledge I currently possess about this agenda, and I hope that you will consider it from a logical perspective and utilize it appropriately. By the way, I do not have a problem with gay or transgender people whatsoever so long as they would just please leave the children alone. They're just children and they're young and easily impressionable by LGBTQ gender confusion propaganda. Let them be kids, and if they still want gender affirming care when they're 18, then they are legally adults and are able to make that decision themselves. Stop encouraging children to make irreversible permanent alterations to their body just to serve an agenda of "inclusiveness" and "tolerance". Also, this goes without saying, and it goes to all people not just LGBTQ: stop sexually abusing children. This is the most unnatural sexual depravity you can possibly take part in. You're destroying innocence and you're destroying lives. And you're just continuing the cycle of abuse, since it does appear that many pedophiles were also sexually abused when they were children (Jeffrey Epstein got really uncomfortable and refused to answer when he was asked about his own sexual abuse as a child). Finally, I will again reiterate that there's no problem with being gay, lesbian, bisexual, non binary, transgender, etc. However, the specific group called LGBTQ is an extremist organization of The Illuminati which is pushing Satanic agendas as part of the New World Order. I recommend that no matter how you identify yourself, that you are able to identify a predatory social engineering mind control agenda for what it is. submitted by kiwasabi to conspiracyNOPOL [link] [comments] |

Today illustrated that the Democrats have become America’s cheerleaders, emphasizing how investment in the nation’s infrastructure has created jobs and rebuilt the country. This week, the Biden-Harris administration is touting its investments in rebuilding roads and bridges, making sure Americans have clean water, getting rid of pollution, expanding access to high-speed internet, and building a clean energy economy, contrasting that success with Trump’s eternal announcements of an “Infrastructure Week” that never came.
The White House today announced that it has awarded nearly $454 billion in funding from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, including more than 56,000 projects across more than 4,500 communities across the nation. Those include fixing more than 165,000 miles of roads and more than 9,400 bridges and improving more than 450 ports and 300 airport terminals. It has funded more than 1,400 drinking water and wastewater projects and projects to replace up to 1.7 million toxic lead pipes, as well as more than 8,000 low- and zero-emission buses. It has funded 95 previously unfunded Superfund projects to clean up contaminated sites. It has improved the electrical grid and funded 12,000 miles of high-speed internet infrastructure, and exposed internet junk fees.
The White House explained that this investment is making it cheaper to install clean energy technology and lowering families’ monthly energy bills, and highlighted today the available rebates to enable people to take advantage of the new technologies.
On Wednesday, May 8, a report from the Semiconductor Industry Association and the Boston Consulting Group explored the “breathtaking speed,” as the president of the semiconductor organization put it, at which the industry is growing. In the
Financial Times on May 9, John Thornhill reported that the CHIPS and Science Act, which provided a $39 billion investment in the semiconductor industry, has “primed a torrent of private sector investment.” With the influx of both federal money and an additional $447 billion of private investment in 83 projects in 25 states, the report forecasts that the U.S. will increase its share of global manufacturing capacity for leading-edge chips from today’s rate of 0% to 28% by 2032. Thornhill compared this investment to that spurred by Russia’s 1957 launch of the Sputnik satellite.
The Economist yesterday announced that the U.S. “is in the midst of an extraordinary startup boom,” and explored “[h]ow the country revived its “go-getting spirit.”
In contrast to the Democrats’ confidence in America, the Republicans are all-in on the idea that the country is an apocalyptic wasteland. At a rally in New Jersey Saturday, Trump announced: “On day one we will throw out Bidenomics and reinstate MAGAnomics.” He promised to extend his 2017 tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations.
But the gist of his speech was an angry, vitriolic picture of a failing nation full of “enemies” that are “more dangerous” than China and Russia and who are “going to destroy our country.” In his telling, the criminal case against him in Manhattan is “bullsh*t,” and President Biden has done more damage than the “ten worst presidents in the history of our country” combined: “[h]e’s a fool; he’s not a smart man…[h]e’s a bad guy…the worst president ever, of any country. The whole world is laughing at him.”
Trump lied that other countries are “emptying out their mental institutions into the United States, our beautiful country. And now the prison populations all over the world are down. They don’t want to report that the mental-institution population is down because they’re taking people from insane asylums and from mental institutions.” Then he riffed into “the late great Hannibal Lecter,” the fictional murderer and cannibal in the film
The Silence of the Lambs, apparently to suggest that similar individuals are migrating to the U.S.
House Republicans this week are working to pass a nonbinding resolution to condemn Biden’s immigration policies, although it was Republicans, under orders from Trump, who killed a strong bipartisan immigration bill earlier this year.
The only way to turn back this apocalypse, Trump and his supporters insist, is to put Trump and his team back into the White House. From there, Republicans will return those they consider “real” Americans to power.
The last few days have added new information about what that means. On Thursday, May 9, Senators Katie Britt (R-AL), Marco Rubio (R-FL), and Kevin Cramer (R-ND) introduced the More Opportunities for Moms to Succeed (MOMS) act. Britt—who is best known for her disastrous response to Biden’s State of the Union speech from her kitchen—said the measure would provide a federal database of resources for pregnant women and women parenting young children, but that information excludes anything that touches on abortion.
The measure is clear that it enlists the government in opposition to abortion, but more than that, it establishes that the government will create a database of the names and contact information of pregnant women, which the government can then use “to follow up with users on additional resources that would be helpful for the users to review.”
A government database of pregnant women would give the federal government unprecedented control over individuals, and it is especially chilling after the story Caroline Kitchener broke in the
Washington Post on May 3, that a Texas man, Collin Davis, filed a petition to stop his ex-partner from traveling to Colorado, where abortion is legal, to obtain an abortion. Should she do so, his lawyer wrote, he would “pursue wrongful-death claims against anyone involved in the killing of his unborn child.” Now Davis wants to be able to depose his former partner along with others he says are “complicit” in the abortion.
Antiabortion activists are also seeking to make mifepristone and misoprostol, drugs used in many abortions, hard to obtain. In Louisiana, state lawmakers are considering classifying the drugs as “controlled dangerous substances,” which would make possessing them carry penalties of up to ten years in prison and fines of up to $75,000.
More than 240 Louisiana doctors wrote to lawmakers saying that the drugs have none of the addictive characteristics associated with dangerous controlled substances and warning that the drugs are crucial for inducing routine labor and preventing catastrophic hemorrhage after delivery, in addition to their use in abortions. “Given its historically poor maternal health outcomes, Louisiana should prioritize safe and evidence-based care for pregnant women,” the doctors wrote.
Louisiana lawmakers also rejected a bill that would have allowed anyone under age 17, the age of consent in Louisiana, to have an abortion if they became pregnant after rape or incest. Passionate testimony from those who suffered such attacks or who treated pregnant girls as young as 8 failed to convince the Republican lawmakers to support the measure. “That baby [in the womb] is innocent.… We have to hang on to that,” said Republican state representative Dodie Horton.
Today, at the Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies, a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization promoting Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander participation and representation at all levels of the political process, Vice President Kamala Harris encouraged young people to innovate and to move into spaces from which they have been traditionally excluded.
“So here’s the thing about breaking barriers,” she said. “Breaking barriers does not mean you start on one side of the barrier and you end up on the other side. There’s breaking involved. And when you break things you get cut. And you may bleed. And it is worth it every time…. We have to know that sometimes people will open the door for you and leave it open. Sometimes they won’t. And then you need to kick that f*cking door down.”
Harris’s advice reflects the history that happened on this date in 1862, when the enslaved mariners on board the shallow-draft C.S.S.
Planter gathered up their families, fired up the ship’s boilers, and sailed out of the Charleston, South Carolina, harbor. The three white officers of the ship had gone ashore, leaving enslaved 23-year-old pilot Robert Smalls to take control. Smalls knew how to steer the ship and give the proper signals to the Confederates at Fort Sumter, Fort Moultrie, and three other checkpoints.
Smalls piloted the
Planter, the sixteen formerly enslaved people on it, and a head full of intelligence about the Confederate fortifications at Charleston to the U.S. Navy. In Confederate hands, the
Planter had surveyed waterways and laid mines; now that information was in U.S. hands. Smalls went on to pilot naval vessels during the war, and in 1864 he bought the house formerly owned by the man who had enslaved him.
A natural leader, Smalls went on to become a businessman, politician, and strong advocate for education. After serving in the 1868 South Carolina Constitutional Convention that made school attendance compulsory and provided for universal male suffrage, he went on to serve in the South Carolina legislature from 1868 to 1874, when he was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives, where he served until 1887. When President Barack Obama signed an executive order establishing the nation’s first national monument concerning Reconstruction, he cited the life of Robert Smalls.

2024.05.13 01:26 chronic314 Backlash, parental alienation syndrome and co-construction
https://www.thefreelibrary.com/Backlash%2c+parental+alienation+syndrome+and+co-construction.-a0179570828 Work on the issue of sexual abuse in children and adolescents lays bare the power relations between genders, generations and social classes. The issue of gender is seen in statistics from UN agencies that report that "one in four girls and one in nine boys will be sexually abused before they reach the age of 18."(1) Generational power relations are clear because the perpetrators are adults, and the power relations of class are evident in the backlash generated by powerful sectors that have attempted to prop up the myth that child abuse is only a problem among the poor and working classes.
Webster's Dictionary defines "backlash" as "a strong adverse reaction to a political or social movement." More plainly, backlash is a negative reaction to a positive and constructive step forward. Professor of law John Myers identifies the positive step as the progress made in the past two decades with regard to child abuse and the backlash as the escalation of criticism against professionals involved in child protection.(2)
David Finkelhor was responsible for pioneering work on the sexual abuse of children in the United States. In his 1979 book,
Sexually Victimized Children, Finkelhor recognizes the important contributions of the women's movement and professionals involved in child protection lobbying in drawing attention to the realities of sexual violence against minors: "If the sexual abuse of children has risen to prominence as a social problem rather quickly, it is because it has been championed by an alliance of two constituencies by now rather experienced in the promotion of social problems."(3)
In the United States, a backlash began in the 1980s under the Reagan Administration's return to stale and reactionary values following the struggles of the women's movement and the children's rights movement the 1960s and 70s.
What was once secret was now openly debated, and controversy wracked the most idealized institutions, including church, family and school. Socially consecrated myths of long-standing were crumbling: "The home is the seat of love, support and safety for children"; "Good families don't talk about sexuality"; "Churches reflect the highest moral standard with regard to sexuality"; "Children are safe in school."
By drawing attention to the realities of child sexual abuse, a solid blow was dealt to the "powers that be"; hypocrisy was uncovered; and unquestioned assumptions were challenged. This frontal attack was met with denial by means of a range of strategies developed by the fundamentalisms of faith and the market.
One of these backlash strategists was prominent forensics expert Richard Gardner, who coined the term "parental alienation syndrome" in 1985 to describe a supposed psychological disorder that he had observed in lengthy and bitter custody battles. His original paper on the subject uses the following description:
"The term I prefer to use is parental alienation syndrome. I have introduced this term to refer to a disturbance in which children are obsessed with deprecation and criticism of a parent—denigration that is unjustified and/or exaggerated. The notion that such children are merely 'brainwashed' is narrow."(4)
However, supposedly citing his original work several years later, Gardner re-describes this phenomena somewhat differently.
"[t]he parental alienation syndrome (PAS) is a childhood disorder that arises almost exclusively in the context of child-custody disputes. Its primary manifestation is the child's campaign of denigration against a parent, a campaign that has no justification. It results from the combination of a programming (brainwashing) parent's indoctrinations and the child's own contributions to the vilification of the target parent. When true parental abuse and/or neglect is present, the child's animosity may be justified, and so the parental alienation syndrome explanation for the child's hostility is not applicable."(5)
The two different definitions demonstrate the changes in this argument over time with the goal of developing a different strategy for discrediting the hard research work and harder-won social gains of the women's movement and the professionals lobbying for child protection.
Maria Jose Blanco Barea has studied the many works that Gardner published up to his death by suicide in 2003, and she suggests that "perhaps the psychological causes that led to his suicide should be taken into consideration." With regard to Gardner's professional career, Blanco Barea recounts that "Gardner dedicated the first part of his professional life to working as a forensics expert in cases of sexual abuse brought by children against their parents, students against professors, members of the faithful against representatives of organized religions and within military families. Gardner often stressed that he was a former captain [in the U.S. Army Medical Corps] and as a psychologist treated members of the armed forces who had served in Korea. He specialized in techniques to 'deprogram' U.S. soldiers who had been prisoners of war. His methodologies and expert testimony were used to question the credibility of sexual abuse victims, to prove that the accused were innocent and that the accusers were guilty of perjury. Gardner testified in cases of sexual abuse in the context of hearings to determine custody, visitation and guardianship, and he himself explains that he developed his research over the course of his career. In other words, he directly applied the scientific method of trial and error in real-life court cases that were settled while he was still carrying out his research. When he decided to publish his theories in 1985, Garner failed to provide the scientific community with the necessary data to scientifically analyze his conclusions."(6)
Richard Gardner's books were published by Creative Therapeutics, which he himself owned. Some of his articles were published in
Issues in Child Abuse Accusations, a publication of the Institute for Psychological Therapies, which is directed by Dr. Ralph Underwager who is well known for an interview in the Dutch journal
Paidika […](7)
In the 1970s and 80s and prior to his publication of the parental alienation syndrome, Gardner developed the "Sex-Abuse Legitimacy Scale" (SAL Scale), which he used in his own courtroom testimony. Nonetheless, Gardner's ideological stance clearly shows that he did not view child sexual abuse as a problem, except when it is denounced.
"It is of interest that of all the ancient peoples it may very well be that the Jews were the only ones who were punitive toward [adults who had sex with children]. Early Christian proscriptions against [adult-child sex] appear to have been derived from the earlier teachings of the Jews, and our present overreaction to [adult-child sex] represents an exaggeration of Judeo-Christian principles and is a significant factor operative in Western society's atypicality with regard to such activities."(8)
"The child might be helped to appreciate the wisdom of Shakespeare's Hamlet, who said, 'Nothing's either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.'"(9)
"And her [the mother's] increased sexuality may lessen the need for her husband to return to their daughter for sexual gratification."(10)
"… except for a certain amount of sexual frustration that was not gratified, the four-year-old had not been significantly traumatized by these encounters."(11)
Elsewhere Gardner had the following to say about child sexual abuse: "The sexually abused child is generally considered to be the victim, though the child may initiate sexual encounters by 'seducing' the adult."(12) Gardner even proposes that [child sexual abuse] serves procreative purposes; he maintains that although the child cannot become pregnant, a child who is drawn into sexual encounters at an early age is likely to become highly sexualized and thus will crave sexual experiences during the prepubertal years. Such a "charged up child" is more likely to transmit his or her genes through his or her progeny at an early age. Gardner states: "The younger the survival machine at the time sexual urges appear, the longer will be the span of procreative capacity, and the greater the likelihood the individual will create more survival machines in the next generation."(13) He also recommended that the incestuous father "has to be helped to appreciate that, even today, it [adult-child sex] is a widespread and accepted practice among literally billions of people. He has to appreciate that in our Western society especially we take a very punitive and moralistic attitude toward such inclinations.… He has also had back
[sic] luck with regard to the place and time he was born with regard to social attitudes toward [adult-child esx]."(14)
The two definitions of parental alienation syndrome are interesting because the first reveals that the intention of the original strategy was to minimize the devastating effects that child abuse has in the victims. However, the 2002 definition added: "When true parental abuse and/or neglect is present, the child's animosity may be justified, and so the parental alienation syndrome explanation for the child's hostility is not applicable."(15) But curiously, the indicators of parental alienation syndrome also coincide with the indicators of sexual abuse that have been established by international studies on this problem.
At the time of the revised definition, the international study of child abuse and the movement to prevent the victimization of children was much further advanced. Some examples are the five European seminars "Secrets that Destroy" held in 1998 by the Save the Children Alliance; the 1999 "Vision and Reality" reports that address women's and children's rights; and a series of later publications by experts in the matter.
Although the SAL scale has been widely disregarded as a tool for diagnosing sexual abuse, Gardner's real thoughts are evident in the above citations from his works. Both the SAL scale and parental alienation syndrome represent a scandalous violation of the human rights of women, adolescents and children.
In numerous publications, Gardner uses supposedly scientific but paradoxical arguments to rationalize his denial of violence against women, defined in the Belem do Para Convention as "a manifestation of the historically unequal power relations between women and men."(16) Making use of children, he creates a new and sophisticated form of violence against women that involves complicity of the justice system.
Gardner proposed a series of symptoms that reveal three types of parental alienation syndrome (severe, moderate and mild) and specific treatment for each type. The treatment that he proposes for parental alienation syndrome involves both legal and health-care professionals, who Gardner says should have the power to administer the appropriate treatment based on the coercion, threat, change in living arrangements and, as a last resort, the internment and "deprogramming" of the child. As Blanco Barea observes, "Parental alienation syndrome makes a fraud of the law. It makes use of the declarations against discriminations against women and of the rights of the child to protect the parent and escape the application of the Conference of Vienna that protects against torture and degrading treatment, especially in the case of women and girls, and to escape the application of the Convention on the Rights of the Child."(17)
As law professor John Myers explains, "Gardner is an outspoken critic of certain aspects of the child protection system. Apparently, Gardner believes America is in the throes of mass hysteria over child sexual abuse. He writes that 'sex-abuse hysteria is omnipresent' (
True and False Accusations of Child Sex Abuse, 1992, p. xxv). In his 1991 book titled
Sex Abuse Hysteria: Salem Witch Trials Revisited, Gardner is harshly critical of an unspecified portion of the mental health professionals, investigators, and prosecutors trying to protect children. For example, Gardner accuses some prosecutors of gratifying their own sexual urges and sadistic tendencies through involvement in sexual abuse cases. […] It seems clear that Richard Gardner cannot claim to be balanced or objective when it comes to allegations of child sexual abuse."(18)
Although Gardner and his theories can be questioned for their misogynist and perverse ideology, in Argentina former family court judge Eduardo Cardenas published "El abuso de las denuncias de abuso" (The Abuse of Claims of Abuse) in
La Ley, on September 15, 2000. Cardenas's article supported Gardner's theories and sparked backlash in our country, which has provoked widespread reaction among well-known professionals.
Perhaps the best summary of what occurred in Argentina after 2000 is found in the book
Maltrato infantil: Riesgos del compromiso profesional (
Child Abuse: The Risks of Professional Commitment), a collection of essays by known specialists on the issue, edited by Silvio Lamberti. As the introduction to this book describes:
"As long as the problem was associated with the lower classes, more and more cases were reported. When it began to be suspected that family violence affected all social classes and the middle and upper classes were scrutinized, a reactionary movement used the guise of good intentions to put limits on professionals that supposedly 'abused the reports of child sexual abuse.'
"This was the reaction of:
- Fathers who were engaged in custody battles or other legal disputes regarding visitation rights.
- Lawyers who preached equanimity and warned against the feminist bias that they claimed had affected the reports.
- Experts who tried to pass off the backlash literature from the U.S. as scientific evidence to support their own conclusions.
"This brutal attack tends to carry into an ideological realm a debate that crosses legal and psychosocial discourses, ethics and society as a whole and tries to undo the advances already gained, discouraging those who have worked to achieve these gains. In short, they intend to:
- Discredit reports of child abuse.
- Turn anyone who denounces abuse into a suspect.
- Blur the boundaries between victim and victimizer.
- Confuse the matter by citing the rare cases of violence against boys or adult men committed by women.
- Discredit the specialized treatment services even though the law recognizes the value of their diagnosis.
- Ignore constitutional norms from the Convention on Rights of the Child.
"Thus, the meaning of abusive conduct is inverted, with abuse being attributed to the person who reports the abuse and requests the fulfillment of the law.
"This reactionary backlash supports the persistence of family violence and condemns all girls and/or victims of the perpetuation of incest and abuse while attempting to stymie the legal system and the work of other professionals who until now have born the heavy burden of this process."(19)
This scientific alert went out over three years ago; nonetheless, today there are increasing obstacles to working on this issue. The notion of false reports of abuse is now firmly rooted in the courts. Sexual abuse trials are tremendous ordeals that seriously damage the children and the adults who report the crime and place a heavy burden on the professionals who take the children's part and who often face accusations of malpractice, libel or slander.
The discrediting of psychological experts is of serious concern. What started with Gardner has continued with followers who have discredited indicators, treatments, techniques and prevention campaigns. Brandishing the concept of co-construction on the part of the family members of the victims or the professionals, the testimony of the children is discredited, accused of being childhood fantasy and tale-telling.
The efforts of Gardner and his followers have been echoed by the hierarchy of the Catholic Church, an institution that claims to represent the social sexual moral but which has promoted a policy of smoke-screening sexual abuse.
The Red Latinoamericana de Catolicas por el Derecho a Decidir (Latin American Network of Catholics for the Right to Decide) has undertaken a study on the secret system of sexual abuse within the Catholic Church.(20) The ecclesiastical hierarchy always has been aware of these crimes and has implemented a policy of covering up the abuses committed by priests. This policy is summarized in the following ten points adapted from the studies carried out by the Spanish journalist Pepe Rodriguez(21) and corroborated in the studies of the Catolicas por el Derecho a Decidir:
- Discreet investigation of the incident. The prelates of the diocese often have ecclesiastical informants, people who desire to rise in the esteem of the hierarchy through their reports. They keep the bishops abreast of the transgressions of the priests under their authority. These reports are given orally.
- Initiation of actions to dissuade the aggressor and/or the victim(s). Once the prelate recognizes the situation of sexual abuse in which the image of the Church could be tarnished, the aggressor is rebuked. Then the bishops dedicate themselves to convincing the victims and their families, assuring them that the aggressor will be punished and that he has repented. They persuade the families to not report the crime so that no one in the Church or the family will suffer the consequences.
- Covering up the incident and the identity of the aggressor so the case never becomes public. In this effort, acts are undertaken to confuse the matter, including transferral of the priest to another parish, bribery of the victim and their family members or the use of threats and suspension of benefits (for example, expulsion from school).
- Measures to reinforce the cover up. When the case escapes the closed doors of the Church, the hierarch opens an internal investigation against the aggressor to defend against eventual accusations of passivity in case there is external pressure from the media or society or a civil suit. Generally, the investigation is paralyzed indefinitely. At this stage, the priest usually is transferred to another parish, another diocese or another country, depending on the situation.
- Denial of the incident when the case becomes public, under the argument that the priest is a man of virtue heeding God's call, a holy figure who could never commit a crime of this nature. When denial is no longer possible, the matter is treated as an exception to this rule.
- Public defense of the aggressor, stressing his good service to the Church and his personal merits. If he did do anything wrong, he is profoundly repentant and was not conscious of his acts. An appeal is made to the Christian sentiments of pardoning a repentant sinner.
- Public discrediting of the victim(s). Rodriguez uses the metaphor of ants defending an anthill to describe the corporativist attitude of the clergy when one of its members is accused. The guilt is reversed; the victim(s) and/or their family members are blamed.
- Paranoiac accusations of the denunciation being linked to campaigns orchestrated by "enemies of the Church." When the number of accusations is so high that discrediting the victims is not enough, the hierarchy complains that there are national or international powers or cults conspiring against the Church.
- Possibility of negotiation with the victim. This negotiation frequently occurs before the case is made public when the intention of the Church is to buy the victim's silence to preserve the image of the institution. When there is a public scandal, the hierarchy tries to minimize the damage by trying to negotiate the withdrawal of the accusations against the aggressor.
- Protection of the priest/aggressor. When the accused is found to be guilty, the hierarchy stands by him and in some cases even pays him homage or praises him, doing everything possible to erase the incident from the public memory.(22)
As the Church silences and covers up the abuses committed within its institutions, it resembles Gardner and his followers in that it denies the realities of domestic violence and the sexual abuse of children and adolescents and hampers investigation of these matters. Alliances with key judicial figures lead to perverse and scandalous rulings, such as the Melo Pacheco case in Mar del Plata, the Storni case Santa Fe or the stalling in the Grassi trial, to name the most notorious cases. Many others remain anonymous, which demonstrates the existence of a model that favors the impunity of the abusers, the suffering of the victims and the punishment of those who are working within the framework of human rights.
A sturdy thread connects those who deny, discredit, silence, minimize, distort and negotiate the rights of children: the perversity that has subordinated their ethics to systems of belief that are authoritarian, patriarchal and/or favor the domination of adults.
This ideological combination stacks the deck against victims who, for the most part, are children, adolescents and women. Women are the most discredited. In the cases in which priests are accused of sexual abuse, most people take their side, doubt the word of the victim(s) and even blame them or imply that the priests were victims of a conspiracy. Girl victims are not considered credible because they are presented as easily influenced, prone to fantasy or liars. If they are adolescents, their morals are questioned: it is argued that they already had had sexual relations before the abuse or are guilty of seducing their abuser.
In the case of domestic abuse, especially in cases of father-child incest, the mother is accused of maliciously attempting to distance the child from the father, inventing the abuse out of revenge or because she is hysterical or any other argument that serves to safeguard the figure of the father of the family or the Father of the parish. In both cases, the common sensibilities of the population are exploited: tolerance of male sexual behavior fed by the dominate sexual morality, which makes the argument of false reports even more credible than the martyrdom and accusations of the victims.
To compare the consequences that a child may suffer with the separation of his or her parents, even in a messy divorce, with the short- and long-term consequences of father-child abuse is a perverse strategy that denies the serious and profound attack on the victim's subjective integrity, which Jorge Barudy calls "attempted moral murder."
Parental alienation syndrome, the "malicious mother" and co-construction are non-scientific theories, and when used in the context of a trial, they violate the victim's constitutional rights as well as the Convention on the Rights of the Child, CEDAW and other agreements incorporated into our constitution in 1994.
We must remember that Richard Gardner's theories were developed in the United States through a method of trial and error that was applied directly in the courtroom in bitter divorce cases, which were ruled upon as Gardner was undertaking his research. In addition, the U.S. is one of the few countries that has neither ratified nor incorporated into its constitution the Convention on the Rights of the Child or CEDAW.
As Blanco Barea explains, in legal contexts based on human rights, those professionals who can carry out the therapy or treatment recommended by Gardner or his followers (such as "aversion therapy" plus the vicarious treatment of deprogramming and, as a precaution, the guarantee of visitation rights or the reversal of custody and/or total separation of the "alienating" parent and the "alienated" child) "are committing crimes of torture, obstruction of justice and legal fraud, and if they are related to the minors in question, they are also guilty of domestic violence."(23)
Child abuse, especially sexual abuse, is an alarming, universal problem. Increased attention and effective protection skills and prevention measures are necessary at family, local, national and international levels.
After a long tradition of silence, sexual abuse of children is being denounced more frequently and is becoming a topic for public and political discussion.
To alert governments and civil society organizations to the need to play a more active role in the promotion of and respect for the rights of the child (as put forth in article 19 and 34* of the Convention on the Rights of the Child) and to contribute to the prevention of child abuse, the Women's World Summit Foundation, WWSF, launched the World Day for Prevention of Child Abuse in 2000. The Day is commemorated every November 19 together with the anniversary of the International Day for the Rights of the Child (November 20). The objective of the World Day for Prevention of Child Abuse is to rally around the issue of child abuse and the urgent need for effective prevention programs.
To consolidate the global call for action, in 2001 WWSF launched an international NGO coalition that marks the World Day with appropriate events and activities to focus on and increase prevention education.

* Art. 34 - States Parties undertake to protect the child from all forms of sexual exploitation and sexual abuse. For these purposes, States Parties shall in particular take all appropriate national, bilateral and multilateral measures to prevent:
(a) the inducement or coercion of a child to engage in any unlawful sexual activity;

2024.05.12 11:27 EveryoneIsAComedian [General Fiction] No, Lilith Is Not Sympathetic OR A Feminist Icon. She Isn't Even That Important
Disclaimer:
Despite how the title and intro may look, I am not here to dunk on feminism. If you came looking for a post that said, "Feminist Soy! Am i rite?" Sorry, got to disappoint. Conversely, this isn't a sermon about why you should convert. Believe whatever you want to believe bro. Also, Not a Christian, but I do like Wendigoon talking about it. Finally, Mods plz don't nuke my post this isn't about religion but about the mythology around the figure.
Why Post This Here:
Lilith has been involved in literary discourse for a while as well as being seen as a Feminist Icon in literature. This post is meant to debunk these claims and misreading of the Abrahamic Myths.
Intro:
This really isn't a specific work of fiction, but rather, a general fictional trope I guess., Ever since the release of Hazbin Hotel, discussion has increased on Lilith being a sympathetic/feminist icon, and this is the most laughable idea to me as a guy who is currently studying Christian Mythology for a project. Today, I am going to debunk this claim of Lilith being sympathetic or any sort of feminist girlboss or even being anyway relevant to the Abrahamic Mythos. I'll try source all my arguments, so it doesn't look like I am talk out of my ass.
In The Bible:
Ah, the Bible. It is amazing how such a small book can cause so much violence, but we are not here for a religious debate (well not really). We are here to discuss Lilith. For context, I am going to be used the New Revised Standard Version (NRSV) & English Standard Version (ESV). This is because NSRV and ESV and considered the most popular when it comes to the Bible Versions.
Let's start with NRSV, and Lilith shows up...once? Hell, she doesn't even show up. She's just mentioned.
Isaiah 34:14: "Wildcats shall meet with hyenas, goat-demons shall call to each other; there too Lilith shall repose,"
You can read the full chapter
here, but the full chapter really doesn't change much. From what I could gleam (admittedly I ain't a theologian so I could be missing stuff), the dude in this chapter is talking about God's Judgment and is more focused on the natural disasters that would happen. Lilith isn't even really that important. She seems to be at best a higher demon with some power, but this same chapter says an undead apocalypse will happen. She is a footnote at best.
Okay what about ESV? It is even worse there. She doesn't even show up.
Isaiah 34:14: "And wild animals shall meet with hyenas; the wild goat shall cry to his fellow; indeed, there the night bird settles and finds for herself a resting place" (Source)
Okay, but I am clearly cherry-picking though right? What about the other versions? Well, it get even more nebulous. In certain version, it isn't even Lilith but an unnamed night-demon (
Source). In others, it isn't even a demon but just a creature of the night/ animals of the night (
Source). Hell one of them there are no demons instead an unnamed ogress (
Source).
You'd think that Lilith, being the first woman and rebelling against Big G himself, should get more than one very sketchy mention. I mean Eve
the mother of humanity is mentioned between
2,000 -2,500 times (Source), Mary
the mother of Jesus Motherfucking Christ himself gets around
40 times (
Source), hell Queen Sheba, whose existence I only know because
a sword in KCD is name after her, is mentioned
nearly 70 times (
Source)(obviously this varies on which version you take as some books are just removed but the point stands). You mean to tell me a fucking side character is mentioned more than literally Female Satan. Funnily enough, Satan is only mention like 30 times in the Bible (
Source).
Okay, so already the foundations of Lilith are shaky, but what do the other Abrahamic Religions say?
In The Quran/The Tanakh (IMPORTANT):
The Quran. She never shows up. Weird since both
Eve and
Mary get mentioned.
Okay, but what about The Tanakh? (For those who don't know the Tanakh is the "Hebrew Bible". A lot of people say that's the Torah, but the Torah is just the compilation of the first five books of the Tanakh.) Well, yes.
Otzar Midrashim, The Aleph Bet of ben Sira, The Alphabet of ben Sira, (alternative version) 34 - He said to him, "The angels appointed for healing: Sanoy, Sansanoy, Semangalof. When the Holy Blessed One created the first Adam alone, They said, (Genesis 2:18) 'It is not good for this Adam to be alone.' They created for him a wife out of the Earth like he had been, and called her Lilith. Immediately they began to challenge each other. She said, 'I will not lie below,' and he said, 'I will not lie beneath you, but only on top. For you are fit only to be in the bottom position, while I am to be the superior one…
So case closed -
STOP. I ain't done cooking yet. See, I got to apologize a bit to you reader. I kind of lied, but to understand how I lied. You got to understand the Jewish Faith first, specifically their holy texts.
Okay, all Holy Jewish Texts fall under Sifrei Kodesh (aka Holy Books). . Within the Siferi Kodesh, there are two main categories texts fall into
Tankah and
Rabbinic. The Tankah is The Hebrew Bible. It is the considered the canonical collection of Hebrew scriptures and is comprisied of the Torah, the Nevi'im, and the Ketuvim. (
Source and
Source). Meanwhile, the Rabbinic is Jewish Rabbis studying and interpreting the Tankah (
Source,
Source,
Source). The Alphabet of Ben Sira is squarely in the Rabbinic.
Most of you have already seen a problem, but for those of who didn't, let me spell it out. When you are quoting this passage, you are not quoting from the Tankah. You are quoting a Rabbi's interpretation of the Tankah. This would be equivalent to me using
My Immortal to critique
Harry Potter (No offense to any Jewish Rabbis. This comparison is meant to be extreme).
Ah, but ain't done yet reader, I have saved the biggest bombshell for last.
The Alphabet of Ben Sira is a shitpost. It a satire. It isn't real.
The reasoning is several. This
reddit comment sums it up.
And This.
Also This From The
Jewish Virtual Library:
There is no reason to doubt the unity of the work as a whole, despite the fragmentary character of the different versions. All the versions share a special, satirical, and even heretical, character, and this indicates that they all were written by a single hand. They seem to reflect varying degrees of censorship on the part of editors and copyists. The complete work contains four parts. The first part is the biography of Ben Sira from his conception until the age of one year. This story, omitted in many editions, explains how Jeremiah, the prophet, was simultaneously Ben Sira's father (the numerical value of Ben Sira's name equals that of Jeremiah), and grandfather. Ben Sira's mother was Jeremiah's daughter. The old prophet was forced to an act of onanism by wicked men, and his daughter conceived from his emissions when she came to bathe. The form of this story is based on a biblical verse that tells the glories and wonders of God's deeds; thus the story satirizes not only Jeremiah, but God's deeds as well.
The second part is more sophisticated in form. It tells how Ben Sira, now one year old, meets with his teacher, who tries to teach him the alphabet. Instead of repeating each letter of the alphabet after his teacher, Ben Sira responds with an epigram beginning with that letter. The epigrams lead the teacher to tell the story of his life. It may be assumed that the original structure of this part was 22 + 12 paragraphs, each containing a letter, an epigram, and a part of the story.
The third part is the longest and contains most of the narrative material in this work. It recounts the story of Ben Sira's life and adventures in the court of Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylonia. It also includes stories told by Ben Sira himself as answers to the king's questions. These stories often include pornographic elements, as well as derogatory descriptions of biblical figures, like King Solomon or Joshua. Some of the stories in this section contain motifs from international folklore and may be based on folktales, but they were adapted to the special framework of the work and satirical elements were added to them. Examination of the various versions indicates that here, too, there were 22 stories, arranged according to the letters of the alphabet, to which 12 other stories were added.
The fourth part, which is found in most versions and gave the work its name, contains 22 alphabetically arranged epigrams attributed to Ben Sira that serve as material for discussion and interpretation by Ben Sira's son, Uzziel, and his grandson, Joseph b. Uzziel. The contents are satirical and even heretical. It may be assumed that this part was constructed in the same manner as the two previous ones – 22 + 12 sections. The work, therefore, displays elements of unity both in structure and in its ideological aims. It is all but impossible, however, to discover the background upon which such a work could have been written. Some scholars (L. Ginzberg and others) believe that it aimed at ridiculing the story of Jesus' birth; but the basis for such a conclusion may be found only in the first part, and even this is not very clear, for the irony seems to be directed more against God than against Jesus. It is hardly possible that the author was a Karaite, as some of the abusive stories are directed against biblical figures, and not only against the Talmud and Midrash. It seems likely that the author did not belong to any organized group or definable ideological movement, but was merely a writer with an anarchistic tendency who used satire to ridicule all the institutions of established religion in his day.
Another difficult problem is the relationship between this pseudepigraphal work and the original proverbs of Ben Sira. Some of the proverbs and epigrams included in the work are originally in the work of Ben Sira, but many such proverbs are found in talmudic literature, and the author probably took them from there. The author of the pseudepigraphal work did not even know Ben Sira's first name. There is only one slight connection that might be accidental: the Wisdom of *Ben Sira has a preface written by the author's grandson, who edited the work, and in the pseudepigraphal work the figure of a grandson is also present.
Buh buh But thats just a reddit comment and some random websites. Whu Whu What are you gonna do OP? Analyze the entire text to prove its a shitpost.
Yes.
Mods turn the
music on.
Analysis Of Alphabet of Sirach/The Alphabet Of Ben Sira:
The text we will be using.
We are going to skip most of it and just jump straight into the section with Lilith, but if you do chose to read it, have a good time. Shit is funny as hell. Let's start of with Lillith's Birth. Many like to potray Adam and Lilith's first interaction like this.
1,
2,
3 It is often either stated or implied Adam either tried to force Lilith into a s*x position she didn't want or that he he stated that she was inferior to him and she spit back. While this nicely fits into the "yas Queen SLAYYY" interpretation, its not the truth...mostly.
Here is the actual text:
When the Holy Blessed One created the first Adam alone, They said, (Genesis 2:18) 'It is not good for this Adam to be alone.' They created for him a wife out of the Earth like he had been, and called her Lilith. Immediately they began to challenge each other. She said, 'I will not lie below,' and he said, 'I will not lie beneath you, but only on top. For you are fit only to be in the bottom position, while I am to be the superior one.' Lilith responded, 'We are equal to each other inasmuch as we were both created from the Earth.' But they would not listen to one another. When Lilith saw this, she pronounced the Ineffable Name and flew away into the world's air.
So first, no she wasn't going to be sexually assaulted. Secondly, it was just a couple arguing with each other. Yes, Adam shouldn't have said that about Lilith, but we shouldn't take a statement said by an angry man as gospel for the religion. Plus, how on earth is blaspheming your Father and then running away from an argument an appropriate reaction to the situation? God didn't do anything wrong. Why you picking a fight with him? We will discuss this more, but lets continue.
The Holy Blessed One said to Adam, 'If she agrees to come back, good. If not, she must permit one hundred of her children to die every day.' They departed and pursued her, and overtook her in the midst of the sea, in the mighty waters wherein the Egyptians would ultimately drown. They told her God's word, but she did not wish to return. The angels said, 'We shall drown you in the sea.' She said to them, 'Let me be. I was created only to cause illness to infants. I have dominion over them for eight days after birth if they are male, and if female, after birth for twenty days.' When the angels heard Lilith's words, they insisted on taking her. But she swore to them by the name of the living and eternal God, 'Whenever I see you or your names or your forms in an amulet, I will have no power over that infant.' She also agreed to have one hundred of her children die every day.
There is much to go over here. First, WHERE ARE THE HUNDRED CHILDREN COMING FROM! These are the first man and woman. THERE ARE NO CHILDREN. Who is he talking about? And don't give me that bullshit that he mad a mistake. HE IS GOD. IN THE TORAH, HE IS OMNISCIENT. This makes no sense.
"I was created only to cause illness to infants. I have dominion over them for eight days after birth if they are male, and if female, after birth for twenty days." I am sorry fucking what? Who said that? God? No. Adam? No. The Angels? Definitely not. No one told Lilith she had to cause illness. She is just being a toxic bitch and offloading her problems. What the fuck?
Finally, "She also agreed to have one hundred of her children die every day." At this point, who has sympathy for Lilith? Lets objectively look at Adam's sin. Yes, he was sexist. Yes, that was wrong. Can't Lilith convince him to change? We know it is possible for a woman to convince Adam because EVE CONVINCED HIM TO EAT THE APPLE. So, clearly the man can develop his thoughts. Instead, Lilith just runs away from her problem, knowing that a hundred innocent children (HER CHILDREN BY THE WAY- hang on does that mean she fucked Adam and Eve's Sons. Isn't she like their aunt? I am pretty sure that's still incest) will die. Yes, God is partly to blame as well, but if I had to choose between a Misandrist Wife or dead innocents, I will go with the Misandrist Wife. Nothing shows Adam as violent just a dick, and she clearly has access to powers he doesn't cuz he can't fly.
Accordingly, every day one hundred demons perish, and for the same reason, we write their names on the amulets of young children, and she sees them, she remembers her oath, and the child is healed
I guess that's nice? But does she even really heal them? She just takes away an illness she caused. This is like saying I put out the fire, but I am the arsonist who started it. There wouldn't be a problem if I didn't create one. And that's how the story ends. Seriously.
There is more, but it doesn't really matter. Ben Sira cures a girl of farting everywhere, talks about hair follicles, slanders David, explains why Donkey Urine is important, and ends with a raven cucking an eagle. Its pretty funny.
In Conclusion:
So, TL;DR: Lilith's entire existence is based on a shitpost. In said shitpost, she isn't even that great of a person and isn't even a feminist.
So yeah, that's all I got. There is more to this Rabbit Hole if you are willing to go down, but that is the gist of it. I don't see how a woman who runs away from responsibilities, blames others for her failures, and would rather kill babies than do something hard is a feminist icon, but here we are. I don't really know how to end this. Uh,
were you entertained?
Addendum: If you are of the Christian, Muslim, or Jewish Faith please comment below and clear up any misconceptions I wrote in this post. I will try to edit it to make it better. Feminists please try to be respectful in the comments. Sup Mods. Uh yeah, cool.
Addendum #2 - Mesopotamian Lilith:
Some people have been saying that I should analyze Lilith from Mesopotamian Origins as this would give her a more sympathetic view. Very well. There are three main sources:
Tablet XII of the Epic of Gilgamesh, a
Burney Relief,
Arslan Tash amulets Tablet XII of the Epic of Gilgamesh (
Text we'll use): Lilith, a snake, and a bird steal a tree from a goddess and squat in it. Gilgamesh comes around kills the snake. The Bird flees. Lilith chimps out, destroys her home, and runs. Tbf, this is Gilgamesh, so I guess Lillith W?
The dyer (?) had not dyed his leather with it (?)
At its root the serpent, 'that knew not silence (?)' had made its nest
At its top the storm-bird (Zû) had put his young
In its midst Lilith had built a house
The shrieking maid the joyful
The bright Queen of Heaven tears for them (?) wept
His lady said a word to him
'Warrior Gilgamesh, its .... will thee'
The ibbaru garment that was of 50 minas from his loins he removed
What was 50 minas 30 ... . he made
His (?) brazen axe a road (?) his ....
1 talent 50 minas his in his hand he seized
At its root the serpent ' that knew not silence (?) ' he slew
At its top the storm-bird (Zû)
took his young (and) went away to the mountain
In its midst Lilith destroys (her) house
Burney Relief (
Source): Yeah no
Even so, the possibility that the Queen of the Night plaque, with its high degree of skill in craftsmanship and attention to detail would be a representation of a lilitu is highly unlikely. According to the Hebrew tradition, Lilith was the first woman made by God who refused to submit to Adam's sexual demands and flew away, thus rebelling against God and his plans for human beings. She was thought to have then occupied the wastelands and, like the lilitu, to have preyed on unsuspecting men ever since. In either tradition, the lilitu was not a popular enough figure to have been portrayed on a plaque such as the Queen of the Night. Dr. Black notes, “Evil gods and demons are only very rarely depicted in art, perhaps because it was thought that their images might endanger people” (62). The mountain range depicted at the bottom of the relief is also thought to suggest lilitu identification in representing the wilderness the spirit inhabits but the headdress, the necklace, the rod-and-ring symbols and the significance of the plaque all go to argue against Lilith as a possibility.
Arslan Tash amulet (Source): Whispering-incantation against the Flying-one, the oath of Sasam, son of Pidrišiša, god, and against the Strangler of the lamb: “The house I enter, you shall not enter And the court I tread, you shall not tread! He has made an eternal contract with us. Assur made a pact with us, all the sons of El,, and the great council of all the holy ones,With the oath of heaven and earth With the oath of Baal, lord of the earth With the oath of Horon, whose utterance is true,His seven concubines and the eight wives of Baal Qudš”[Written around and between the images] Oh Flying one, from the dark room pass away! Now! Now, night demons! [Written on the Sphinx figure] From my house, O crushers, go away! [Written on the wolf-like figure] Oh Sasam, let it not be opened for him And let him not come down to the door-posts The sun is rising for Sasam. Disappear, and fly away home.[Written on the axe-wielding figure](modified from Cross and Saley 1970 and Berlejung 2010).
So where the fuck is Lilith? Well the text in its original language features lly- which if you add a "t" could be llyt [Lilith], but it also can be ll wyn which means "night and day." So, yeah not exactly a Lilith W. And that's it. I don't know how this makes her sympathetic, but to each their own.
Addendum #3 - Lilith R*ped Adam?
u/howhow326 said that there was a tale about Lilith raping Adam and being thrown out of Eden. This intrigued me to search for it, but unfortunately, I can't find a source for this anywhere. The closest I get is this
Blogpost, but this seems to be more of a hypothetical than anything. Frankly, I don't think this should be part of the debate.
Edit 1: Originally, there was a line that said : "Hell fucking
Jesus gets mentioned the prophet of the ENEMY, but not Lilith." I have since been informed that this is a gross misrepresentation of the Muslim Faith, and it has been removed.
Edit 2: Spelling and Formatting Errors Corrected
Edit 3: Mesopotamian Lilith added. Lilith's Rape Accusations.

2024.05.04 18:54 heikitsune25 Feelings on the female romances (Heavy spoilers)
TLDR: I won't talk about every choice as this is too long, already. You don’t have to read all this, for the love of god you don't. Just know I enjoyed every female character in this game as a partneromantic love interest. Hopefully, I’ll have enough time to do the guys. Sorry for this being fucking SIX PAGES (I have a problem
don’t send help)
Scarlett: Oh Scarlett you poor sweet girl. I have never seen a main love interest out matched this badly since Dragon Quest 8; which is a similar situation funny enough. She is not a bad character, though I completely understand why people have issues with her. She's the purest vanilla out there to the point where it almost feels like she knows she is a blonde haired, blue eyed, big breasted, can’t cook well childhood friend princess in a Japanese game. And she has the issue of the character knowing more than the player. Scarlett is Alain's childhood friend. Not ours. He’s used to her antics and only sees her from his perspective. With her pushing herself so hard at Alain it can be frustrating when you don’t know her as well more so when all her rapports are her trying to get into Alain’s pants and the actual character stuff for her is one of the last area before the final boss.
But vanilla isn’t bad. It’s nostalgic. Comforting. Scarlett will never be a bad choice but is the normal choice.
Chole: Holy shit Chole. When I first saw her I thought nothing about her. And then I got spoiled on her ending and found it hilarious that she was one of the only girls to give Alain a kid and not her so called best friend so I went I through her rapport.
And uh, did Chole’s writer have it out for Scarlett? Like it’s utterly baffling how Chole is such a better romantic choice then so called main heroine that it's like that jojo stomping meme. every other girl beating the shit out of Scarlett’s chances and Chole,
HER BEST FIREND WHO AGREES TO HELP HER, looks to be minding her own business. And then comes in with steel spiked chair that explodes on impact.
The theme of ‘you can be yourself around me’, the player getting to known Alain better by doing her rapport, dancing in the fucking moonlight. As someone who’s a hardcore romantic; hence why I like this game, I was god smacked at how sweet it all was. And she’s not a trope, well more like she doesn’t have a ‘dere’. The only thing like that about Chole is that she’s just everyone's mom. She has nearly the same mom energy as everyone’s favorite titty owl milf.
And I think that’s the point as the losing heroine trope, or second girl, is becoming more popular in Japan. Characters like Scarlett are actually becoming more rare and harder to come by in manga and light novels. You’re more likely to get a gyaru or a character like Chole as in love interest than your classic blonde, blue eyed, big titty, childhood friend princess tsundere. But that’s getting off topic. Basically, Chole is the main heroine. Sorry Scarlett.
Yunifi: I’ll come back to Yunifi’s fat ass later. (I know Alain is!
bum dum tis) but as a character, for me I can sum her up as, Tifa but bottom heavy; she feels like that spunky childhood country bumpkin friend that was not too girly, but girly enough you wouldn’t call her a tomboy. And then you see her again after a few years and you’re already calculating how much a ring will cost. And I shouldn’t have to explain the bottom heavy part :v
She would fit right in with the childhood friend trio, and considering she’s a princess that might have actually happened in some alternative timeline. She’s fun, spunky, cute, not afraid to speak her mind with a sharp tongue, basically, a cat girl, a MONSTER with her bow, and her alter scene with Alain is my favorite.
Alain, poor sweet innocent lad, just thinks ‘Aww she’s talking about making more friends.’ And the girl comes up to him like basically saying ‘No I want you to breed me.’
The look on that poor boy’s face when he realized what he just got into. Like “Oh!....oooohhhh sshhiittt….”
I am reminded of that one meme of female lions biting the balls of their mates when they want sex when the mates are too tired.
Alain better hope he has the stamina of a Unicorn…..
Dinah: Furry memes aside, Dinah shocked me with how cute she is. Like while the Krystal comparison is accurate, it’s also not. Krystal has always been more sexy than cute. Bikini armor, rich accent, tight clothes. Nintendo’s messy handling of her aside, she’s always been mostly sex appeal. Dinah is too, but if you put her character on a normal human, the effects would be the same, but at the sometime it wouldn’t be her as her past makes it hard for her to trust humans. Making her a Berengaria lite; Berengaria has way more rough edges than Dinah who smooths them out rather fast.
It's really nice, if you’re a furry or not, to have an
ACTUAL interspecies relationship and not just ‘human but with one extra step and nothing else’ (looking at you Witcher fuck off with that shit). Which is always baffling seeing as a lot of video games have their roots in DND and well you can fuck a dragon in that. And not just the ones on two legs.
But a lot of games just go ‘slightly different human’ when they do theses. Like the other reasons people were upset about the whole Tali face reval years ago was yeah she was a bit too human looking. But biowear isn’t the same company it was during ME3 and now a days…..
Though I wouldn’t mind them going into more detail about their racial differences, there’s some, but wouldn’t call it mass effect level with characters like Tali or Garius.
Still the fact that a furry character that has harsh edges nearly on the same level as Berengaria, is
this cute; you can’t tell me you had a little chuckle or go aww when she told Alain she was turn him down, clearly lying with her face so red or asking him to recognize her feelings for him during their last rapport. It makes me wish that she came out around the same time as Krystal so we can get more art of her, because right up, Dinah’s way better than Krystal. (The old furry guard is going to gut me but I’ll die on that hill damn it)
Berengaria: This woman is a bitch (affectionately). Which makes her perfect for our idiot prince.
They both have the issue of taking the weight of the world on their shoulders for the people they care about. But Berengaria is dumber than Alain because he learned to accept help while she pushes others away to keep them safe. And you can’t blame her. She lost an eye. She’s been through some shit. She’s seen how bad and cruel the world can be. And Alain isn’t even her ‘cute little ball of sunshine to light up her life’ dude’s seen that shit too.
But instead of colder view of things, it’s more realistically optimistic. Yeah there is a possibility she’ll stab him in the back but he’ll know there’s a reason for it and try to help her then just let her stab him and be done with it. Aka Alain doesn’t always take her shit and trusts her a lot. Something she isn’t used to and way more than most people have, and even should. Her bitchy standoffish behavior rolls off of him most of the time. He doesn’t even hesitant to nearly drag her into his army. Like it’s only a slight exaggeration that he just picks her up and places her in his army and I don’t even think he’s heard of her save for what Travis has told him; that whole scene had me laughing for a good minute.
It shows the deep trust Alain has for her, even in her ending.
She had a skill called WARRIOR PRINCESS. That woman was not going to sit around with some stuffy ass, slow thinking, face lying, dancing old people taking half a generation just to cut some red tape to help people. Hell she probably scared everyone shit less when she walked in being Alain’s wife with that scar on her face and icy attitude. Of course she was going to fuck off back home to take care of things there. This is a woman who would willingly walk into a trap if it meant keeping people safe. And Alain is all for it. He right up says they’ll face whatever choice they made together and her going back to handle things like the fantasy batman she is while her husband handle the political shit he’s far better at doing than her is a good move. All Alain ask is that she visits the kids because lord knows they had a few :v.
Berengaria is that IRL goth girlfriend that scares people who have been online too long and don’t know how real emo and goth girls can be like.
Amalia: while it’s sad her romantic bits are short it’s understandable with what the team had and even then she’s meant to be picked up last as she’s ten levels away from the max. You aren’t meant to pick her up until late game or after. Lord knows everyone would pay more for just more rapports for everyone they did that good of a job with these characters. And even with Amalia’s short length, she makes good with what she has. She’s a simple woman wanting a strong guy by her side. She reminds of Barghest from fate grand order.
A massive woman who’s insanely strong and is based off a fantasy dog that eats people. But she has dreams of marriage, home cooking for her lover, and wears dresses. While being able to cut a whole mountain at the same time.
While Amalia isn’t on that level it’s clear she has a girly side being embarrassed to explain how much she eats. She’s a nice girl that can take on an army and that’s all she needs to be. And it’s nice to imagine the army being horrified of this wall of a woman training them but gets all soft and cute when her husband who’s nearly at the height of her crotch comes around bringing her a massive table of food for lunch.
Milsanadra: I saw a quote on Twitter that sums her up moderately well. ‘Rise Kujikawa walked so Milsanadra could run’
Everyone was caught off guard by her extreme forwardness and charmed by her thirst for everyone's favorite ‘blue haired fop’ but once you get to know her you know she has ‘perfect woman’ trope; someone who’s great at everything but doesn’t get that much attention. But she still tries hard anyway. Girl is a hard worker and Alain, the bastard, is going to shower her with so many deserved compliments that Baltro's wrinkly ass will die from embarrassment. They have that perfect couple feel. Like you see the two of them and don’t question if they are dating you just know. They bounce off each other well as even Alian is a walking flirt machine only unintentional…half of the time. Dude even mistakenly says ‘she belongs to him’ when they first met; for the love of god muzzle this man….
She reminds me of Metera from Granblue fantasy. A flirty, free spirted woman who is actually a genius in a lot of things. The only difference is that Metera is just too free spirited; good luck getting that woman to do anything if it isn’t fun for her. Under Milsandra’s flirty personality is a hard working, sweet girl that needs all the love she can get.
And I love how she dose a complete 180° at the end. She goes from ‘oh I am good with being the side chick’ to ‘I am not letting any other woman step up to my man.’
Yahna: Those hips did not lie, she really is a great waifu. Yahna having a sense able reason for de-aging herself is what made me like her. It’s very common for the reason to be comical. Like the witch is very vain or it was an mistake with some magic. But Yahna has a good point. The fuck can grandma do in a war? And the guys were looking for an old granny not a sexy young witch with hips to spare. It showed that she was more than just good looks and I love the fact that she is basically just a grandma in younger body; R.I.P Hodrick dude better blind himself because Yahna is young and sexy and she is not going hide that from anyone.
And then the arc with Elheim made me love her. Holy shit as if they needed another nail in Scarlett’s waifu ranking coffin. They really pulled the ‘simi reincarnated lovers not going to fall for the same thing our past selves did’ in front of my poor old heart. Like god damn one of the most romantic tropes in the books, how was I supposed to say no?
I don’t want to say she’s perfect for Alain, because let be real this whole cast nearly is, but fuck me is Yahna dragging me kicking and screaming to say that. That ‘bewitching bride’ of the prince’s has a powerful spell on me and a fair amount of fanbase.
Virginia: The incest is what is holding her back from completely up ending Scarlett’s throne of main heroine. Christ and I thought the chemist with the other girls was powerful this is something else. If they weren’t cousins I would have been so confused why they aren’t already a thing. Like god damn every conversation between was damn delight and a showcase of why they work so damn well together. Virginia’s fiery attitude is what Alain’s needs to sometimes stop thinking and start fucking shit up but Virginia needs to learn to hold back. Hell she even mentions it after getting revenge for the Roses. And there’s that one line in Darkengard that feels a tad sexually charged.
It's the end of a mission that focuses on Leah’s heritage as a Drakengard native. And after Alain wisely suggest she go spoke to the captives instead of Virginia who’s likely to start a war, the woman herself comes back with a ‘Ill show you a war.’
It's short moment, mainly joke, but it perfectly sums up why they are the perfect king and queen like bar none. I can’t even argue with the woman when she just asks for the ring. And knowing vanillaware’s thing for badass powerful sword women this was totally planned. Along with her Schrödinger’s panties.
And yeah this is just like the whole thing with Reha from FE3H but with less odd ‘if you think about too much she’s just fucking her own mother.’
Rosalinde/Eltolinde: Gape moe is a good way to sum up theses girls. Eltolinde is the playful flirty younger sister type at first blush. And then you get to know her. Yes Eltolinde is a flirty palyful girl, but she’s also extremely hardworking, intelligent, tactical and just the other opposite of what you see of her. While her sister Rosalinde, acts the serious wise leader of the elves, but you see her act goofy, get drunk, take the playful ‘he loves me he loves me not’ game very seriously. Like her sister she still is that wise leader, mature leader, but she also acts like a spoiled and spritely little sister.
While I won’t get into the long history of the term gap moe, basically it’s this; when characters have traits of tropes opposite of them. Aka getting lied to by the character. Games like blue archive dose this to an extreme degree, and if anyone has been on the internet and/or glimpse at Japanese pop culture you know that game has fanart up ass because of that. Its not a wonder why those two are the one of the most popular girls with Eltolinde taking the top spot. These girls make a really great argument for harem endings because it feels off just taking one and have having the other.
Liza/Ridiel: I am going to put these two together, because this is getting too long and it’s the same feeling as they both surprised me at how cute and serious they are with their stories. Liza is one of the I want to say two tomboy girls in here, but unlike Berenice who’s more like a bro, Liza is like that spunky little sister that doesn’t want to be called cute but actually enjoys it. And it’s nice seeing Alain pull the poor girl along with his usual charm as well as respecting her wish in taking care of her desert home.
Ridiel’s trouble with her race was treated rather well with Alain not trying to be a dreamer and say something silly like ‘he’ll rid people of those thoughts’ but more understanding as he’ll continue to fight for that equality and her determination to surpass her mom’s skill is insane as it is admirable; thank god for mommy Chole. Also, while it is a great way to end her character arc and embrace her bloodline, it is not funny imagining her mother laughing at her from heaven. Girl goes on for a good minute about not being like her mom and dating humans. And then she falls for the damn
PRINCE of all humans. Her mother is cackling in her grave I am sure.
‘Ha! Not so easy when you met a hot guy who treats you great now is it!? I better get a lot damn grandchildren!’ Ridiel’s mother…. Probably.
Selvie: One of the funniest girls in my opinion. She knows her role; she’s nerdy bookworm mage that creeps in dungeons and that can barely throw a punch (but has some thick legs for some brutal kicks). She knows she’s the dweeb and doesn’t expect to be romanced in away way by anyone; even if she does have a body that’ll knock out an elephant.
So Alain needing to nearly beat her over the head at the altar and thinking him falling for her is a joke is so damn good. And she has a cute girly side to her too. Wanting to spend some alone time (at least that’s what I think. These girls do be freaky.) With Alain in some ruins, cherishing her ring. Their relationship really does remind me of the ‘my witch girlfriend and me doing whatever the fuck she wants’ meme. Dude is a good listener and really that’s all she needs. And cuddles.
Lighting round:
Berenice: Actual tomboy girlfriend. Feels more like a bro than a wife. But her shyly admitting that she has a crush on Alain to Mordon is cute.
Griffin girls: Fran is just cute bidding being her Griffin. And as for Celeste; who put a Disney princess with massive tits in my Japanese strategy game? Not mad just asking. I want to thank them.
Hammer girls: Smol hard working girl, Kitra and smol angry girl Nina. Both flavors of a badass small girl with a big fuck off hammer. With Kitra being the standout with being her hammer and taking a swing at Alain.
Who I really agree with because holy shit Alain you absolute asshole
shut up. Like, holy crap I am saying this as a guy who enjoys and likes to write this flowery dialogue, you stupid flirting mother fucker.
I am blushing over here. It’s not even a major character trait of yours like Sanji from One Piece and you put him to shame. Like my god man, just complement Baltro’s old ass a few times and the fucker will fucking just explode from all the damn complements. Like holy shit, man woman, it does not matter Alain is a fucking menace to society.
I blame Josef. That fucker over corrected and now Corina has the equivalent of Helen of fucking Tory as a king. Mother fucker is going to cause another war with his damn charm alone….love the fucking bastard but jeez I was blushing during some of these rapports and maiden scenes. Like fuck man tone it down will ya???
Certainly my favorite game of the year so far and it's nice seeing a game put romance and partnership at the front. Normally this stuff is secondary or short lived for various reasons. But the writers did a good job of making everyone a believable choice for the prince. No one really feels like a bad romantic partner and/or comrade. Damn good job Vanillaweare

2024.04.27 15:28 9J719 So Depressed – All Porn Users Should Be Held Accountable
I was exposed to pornography at the age of nine by my father (unintentionally, although he clearly wasn't concerned enough to be careful). Hefrequently provided my sister and I with bootleg children's movies to watch, and instead of handing us the disc for Cars, he handed me and my sister a pornographic movie. The second time, was when I needed to swap shoes, I walked into his bedroom (where our clothing was stored) and he had pornography play menu looping on his TV.
The immediate feelings me and my sister felt were feelings of disgust and betrayal. So how come, at the age of nine, we could acknowledge this was disgusting and wrong and never went to seek it out as teenagers or adults, but there are so many WOMEN who seek it out and support it?
My first introduction to radical feminism was at 19. I was feeling so disgusted about the porn culture, I searched ''Anti Porn" on facebook, and was introduced to the now archived facebook group "Refuse To Date Men Who Use Porn" and ever since this industry and current culture just occupies my mind as much as animal abuse occupies my mind. It has prevented me from ever wanting to date or be intimate and I feel completely alone. I will never be able to experience pure love and natural intimacy because everyone's sexualities are hijacked and minds are warped. I am in my 20s. It pissed me off so much that so many women encourage this. So, women are also to blame for furthering and growing this industry through their participation and consumption.
We have women who are ''sex educators'' wanting to enter schools and teach students how to safely consume pornography. So we do not want children to be exposed to adult genitalia in-person but it's okay if they are viewing it from a screen? We want them to get used to the idea of objectifying themselves and others? These are FEMALE educators wanting this.
I see plenty of comments and posts from female members about their past use of porn while simultaneously vilifying men? How come women are not held to the same standard? If you are a women who watches/watched porn, you are just as sick and perverted as men who use it. You supported/ support the same industry that embraces incest, animal abuse, the sexualization of children, violence, etc. You SOUGHT to objectify women and/or embraced your partner's usage. There are women who LOVE seeing women being brutalized. They don't love this to be seen as ''cool girls'' by men. Like a lot of you, they genuinely liked to be voyeurs. End of. Why do lesbians get a pass for objectifying women?
This needs to be reinforced: If one of us is for sale, we ALL are. If it is okay to objectify a few women or a few girls, it is okay to objectify ALL women and all girls. We cannot ask men to treat us as humans while supporting and embracing the commodification and objectification of women ourselves. I don't see how this will ever improve if women are telling men and other women that it's okay?
Just depressing as shit.

Wubby talking about how dick size determines whether you can get women or not, disses himself good. Wubby talking about his sex doll, makes the “pbk pbk pbk, fucking cums everywhere” thing. Maybe use this clip with a few clips that his dad is in later. Wubby talks about doing a price is right (scuffed) stream for the first time. Maybe use this with another clip Someone donates another language version of Rap COD, fat guy in the video, wubby says “yall are gonna make me do it, my body type is not that fat” changes his cam view to just his head but you can see him in the mirror Wubby hyping up stream for Halloween, says “it’s the day before Halloween! Its so easy as a pedophile…” and goes quiet and awkward Wubby says he said the same thing hes about to say when this song by Eminem came out. “if Eminem calls you a goof, its over for you” (Idea: play this video again and see what he says.) Wubby shoots near alluux with a paintball gun Wubby dancing to Michael Jackson, has green screen on, his cam is showing up on his stomach so you see his head, he looks down, opens his mouth like hes sucking his dick Wubby talking about no nut November, he says bunch of funny shit. “they’re gonna call me young gallows” Wubby taps his mic on his chin really fast and it sounds glitchy as fuck Wubby talking about the first price is scuffed. It just makes me warm and fuzzy inside. Im so proud of him. Price is scuffed 1, contestant won, delayed winning sound effect funny Same contestant wins some money, wubby offers her $200/$300 to change her reward to opening a box of his with a prize, she chooses the box, its lactate, she tells wubby he can keep it. Price is scuffed 1 commercials, Handsome boi Peanuts commercial Price is scuffed 1. Wubby wants to spin, changes him mind and has alluux do it, she spins and contestant wins $1000 dollars, alluux says “is anyone hiring” Wubby talks about how he went to dinner with some streamers and twitch staff and had to leave early and sushidragon called him out on his stream so Wubby called him out on price is scuffed 1 Wubby has a good take on Joker. Wubby was tossing back and forth the idea of getting a pornstar for an interview in a hottub, he DM’d Reily Reid and botched his message, “hey. Wanna come show? Hottub (answer question?) wrong pornstar lol? You? How it be?” Just a crazy watch. Summary: Islamists view incest as the vulnerability of non-religious atheist ideology and attempt to exploit it extensively. However, their assumption is flawed. While the non-religious Western system may not be flawless, it remains the most effective solution. This is evident when we examine the flaws, shortcomings, inefficiencies, and failures of the Islamic system in addressing incest.
***
An Islamic apologist wrote:
Do atheists have an issue with consensual incest with no involvement of pregnancy provided there is consent on both parties, or would they criminalise it if they are in control of society?
Response: Humanity/Empathy in us provides us with the "
Fundamental Framework" for constructing ethical principles. Therefore, there is general agreement on primary moral values such as honesty being good and lies being bad.
However, sometimes variations in viewpoints emerge when addressing secondary matters where there isn't a clear right or wrong response. For instance, some individuals may hold that deception is never acceptable, while others think that under some exceptional circumstances, it could be justified or required to achieve a better outcome. Such divergences of thought on secondary issues are natural and expected.
It's crucial to recognize that:
- These are only religious people who believe that their god is 100% perfect, and thus he also made a 100% perfect world and system of moral code.
- In contrast, those who aren't religious don't assume 100% perfection in the world or its systems. Consequently, we must assess choices based on the degree of harm or benefit they bring, striving for the most optimal result possible given the circumstances.
Consequently, we (i.e. the non-religious people) have established a fundamental framework, of how to solve such issues. For example:
- Our approach involves engaging in open dialogue.
- We also use our present and past knowledge and experiences to solve it.
- We also utilize our intellectual ingenuity to devise new innovative solutions.
- Through all this, we strive to get the most effective solution, which may not be 100% perfect, but still the most optimal one.
- Moreover, we recognize that even with our best efforts, mistakes can still occur. Thus, the freedom of criticism in our society makes sure that a mistake does not stay as a mistake, but we are compelled to reform ourselves and correct our mistakes. Fortunately, the freedom of critique within our society ensures that errors are identified and corrected, fostering continuous improvement and growth. In religions like Islam, this facet of reformation is absent, while Divine Sharia laws cannot be criticized and thus cannot be corrected by men.
The history of incest is as under:
- Ancient tribes already observed the fact the children from incest relationships were weak and suffering from several diseases.
- But ancient tribes were also involved in a lot of fighting and capturing women of other tribes. Thus, they also observed that their children from women of other tribes didn't suffer from that weakness and diseases.
- Initially, although incest with siblings and parents was prohibited, incest between uncle-niece was allowed, like in the Abrahamic religion of Judaism. Till the time of Muhammad, although uncle-niece incest was also prohibited, however, Muhammad still allowed incest between a cousin brother and sister. To see the horrible consequences of cousin incest among Muslim communities, please read our article: Cousin Marriages: Allah (i.e., Muhammad) Bears Responsibility for the Miseries of Disabled Children
- But then a few civilizations also observed the diseases in the cases of cousin incest, and they prohibited it too. You will hardly find any cousin incest marriages in atheist communities today, but Muslims are still unable to get rid of it while it is a part of Objective Morality in Muslims to have cousin incest marriages.
So, the issue of incest was completely dead in the previous centuries due to diseases in offspring. And it is practically also dead even today in the non-religious West.
However, in this century, after the invention of condoms and abortion operations, religious Islamic preachers came up with a new hypothetical question. They ask:
In the absence of objective morality, what stop atheists to involve in incest relationships, while no harm is possible to any baby today due to condoms and abortion?
Yes, as a non-religious community, we do face this challenge today. And here is the approach that we use to solve it:
- Firstly, we don't deny the reemergence of this challenge in this century but openly accept it.
- Consequently, as mentioned above, we have established a fundamental framework for tackling such issues. Our approach involves engaging in open dialogue, leveraging collective knowledge and experience, utilizing intellectual ingenuity to devise innovative solutions, and diligently working towards finding the most effective resolution. Remember, this solution may not be 100% perfect and my not solve the issue 100%, but it should still be the most effective solution.
The usage of this approach brings us to the following results:
- Physical Harms: Although they have been reduced, they are still present. It is important to recognize that abortion itself carries inherent risks, and there is no guarantee of preventing pregnancy in every instance.
- Psychological Harms: The desire to have children is deeply ingrained in human nature, and entering into an incestuous relationship already introduces psychological pressure. In non-incestuous relationships, even if partners initially have doubts about having children, there are numerous cases where individuals ultimately choose to embrace parenthood despite their initial reservations. However, in the context of incestuous relationships, the ability to reverse an earlier decision and proceed with pregnancy and raising children is not feasible. This intensifies the psychological burden on individuals involved, as they may be grappling with conflicting emotions and desires. The inability to alter their earlier decision further exacerbates the psychological strain. Even if non-incestuous parents are willing to consider abortion, the procedure itself can inflict significant psychological pressure on them. The decision to terminate a pregnancy is a complex and emotionally challenging one, and it can have long-lasting effects on the mental well-being of those involved. It is also important to note that people's desires and circumstances can change over time. However, in an incestuous relationship, individuals are effectively bound to their initial decision, with no option to reverse course. This lack of flexibility can lead to feelings of being trapped and contribute to further psychological distress within the relationship.
- Power Dynamics within a family: The power dynamics at play in these relationships make them taboo for a reason. Family members can exert considerable control over one another, making it difficult to break free from their influence even after reaching adulthood. This is why teachers are not allowed to have relationships with their students, even in colleges and universities, where the students are adults. For instance, a girl may be influenced and brainwashed by a family member from childhood to engage in a romantic relationship with her cousin-brother, and then continue to be influenced by them to only love him and not seek other relationships. Such a girl may find it challenging to escape this influence and brainwashing even after reaching adulthood. Moreover, if a dispute occurs, then it breaks the whole family.
Based on these facts, there is a consensus among atheist communities that incest should not be ECOURAGED, but discouraged.
But the next issue is, despite this discouragement, still humans can make mistakes (while human nature is not perfect) and siblings can still indulge in sexual activities. So, how to deal with such cases?
Logically, there are two ways to deal with such cases:
- The first one is to declare it illegal and punish those who indulge in incest.
- The second approach is to control this issue through "Social Taboos", by educating people and providing them with psychological help.
An overwhelming opinion (among the non-religious community) is that the second approach brings more positive results, while:
- Punishing people will not solve this issue, as it will only go UNDERGROUND.
- Such people will also not come out in the open to get any psychological help.
- People will keep on living under huge guilt and mental pressure, and reformation is almost impossible.
While the chances of success in the second approach are much better, as:
- We already have an experience in the case of cousin marriages. Social taboos and education were enough to bring this rate to ZERO in non-religious communities.
- It makes it easy for people to get psychological help and solve their problems.
- People don't have to spend their lives under fear mental stress and guilt.
But as stated earlier, we are flexible and able to reform our wrong decisions easily. Thus, we will watch, and if at any stage we feel that the 2nd approach of Social Taboo is not working, and is not producing the desired results, then we will bring REFORMS again. And then we may introduce laws which declare incest officially illegal and may introduce a punishment for it.
Incest: Deficiencies and Flaws within the Islamic System
As previously discussed, it's essential to recognize that there isn't a 100% perfect Allah present in the heavens, and consequently, nature isn't flawlessly tailored for human existence. This inherent imperfection means that attaining 100% perfect solutions is unattainable. Instead, humans must navigate compromises and opt for the best available solutions, understanding that perfection in all cases is unfeasible.
However, the issue arises when Islamists exploit this imperfection in nature to refute solutions proposed by human intellect, such as addressing the problem of incest. They swiftly dismiss these solutions, highlighting isolated imperfections.
Fortunately, their deceptive tactics are laid bare when we shed light on the deficiencies of the Islamic system and its inability to effectively address the issue of incest.
In a genuine Islamic setting, a Muslim boy's interactions with females outside his immediate family, except for his sisters and mother, are strictly regulated.
Studies on primates indicate that in the presence of female outsiders, they instinctively avoid forming relationships with females of their group. However, if unable to find mates externally, they may incline towards incestuous behavior with female members within the group.
Many species of mammals, including humanity's closest primate relatives, tend to avoid mating with close relatives, especially if there are alternative partners available. This fundamental issue contributes to the prevalence of incest-related psychological afflictions within Islamic societies.
Initially, Islamists often refute the existence of incestuous tendencies within Islamic communities. However, evidence from platforms like "Google Trends" exposes the widespread prevalence of incest-related issues in these societies.
For instance, data reveals that citizens of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan have consistently ranked among the highest globally in searches related to incest terms over the past two decades.
- Sister Rape, Sister Porn, Sister Fucking: From 2006 to 2019, Pakistan consistently held the top position each year in search of these 3 terms. (Note: Pakistani Government banned Pornographic Websites in 2011, But still this trend didn't end immediately. And still 'sister porn' was the most searched term on Google search from Pakistan till 2019. Please adjust the settings on "Google Trends" to see the report for each year from 2006 to 2019).
- Mother Rape: Pakistan was at the top every year from 2006 to 2012 (till a ban on pornographic websites by the Pakistani government).
- Child Sex: Pakistan is at the top from 2006 till 2023 (and even the ban on pornographic websites didn't dethrone Pakistanis from searching for it).
- Donkey Rape: Pakistan is at the top from 2006 till 2023 (and even the ban didn't stop them from searching for it).
(
Note: Pornographic website Pornhub also publish its list of visitors from every country. But you will not see Pakistan on the list there, while the Pakistani Government (actually almost all Muslim countries) has banned this website. And Pakistanis visit this website only through VPN)
During the age when Pakistani boys are most prone to sexual frustration due to Islamic restrictions, they often don't have daughters at that age, while they fear their mothers. But unfortunately, their smaller sisters are easy prey. Pakistani parents should ensure they don't fall into misconceptions under the guise of Islamic education but rather take special care of their daughters from their brothers.
Shockingly, according to a study conducted in hospitals and gynaecologist clinics in Pakistan, approximately 82% of young girls are subjected to rape by close relatives such as fathers, grandfathers, paternal uncles, maternal uncles, brothers, and cousins.
For further insight into this distressing issue, please watch the following video featuring Miss Shandana Gulzar, a Member of the National Assembly Pakistan and a minister of the ruling party PTI. In her discussion, she sheds light on the aforementioned study and its findings. [Please enable the English Captions].
Link to YOUTUBE Video: Ineffective Islamic Approach: Barbaric Punishments for Incest
Islam's response to the issue of incest largely revolves around implementing brutal and archaic penalties for offenders.
However, this approach proves futile for several reasons:
- It fails to address the root cause of widespread incest in Islamic societies, namely, the unnatural constraints on interactions between genders.
- Instead of eradicating the problem, these harsh punishments drive incestuous behaviors underground.
- Furthermore, the threat of such severe penalties inhibits individuals from seeking professional assistance to address their issues.
- The fear of barbaric punishments often leads individuals to resort to committing additional crimes (such as illegal abortions and even killing newborn babies) in an attempt to eliminate evidence of their actions.
The Population Council is a famous organization, which
published a report that Pakistani hospitals and clinics did
2.25 million cases of illegal abortions alone in the year 2012. These unlawful abortions primarily occurred in cases of fornication and rape in incestuous cases, driven by the imminent threat posed by Islamic harsh punishments and the stringent honour code enforced within the society.
When human psychology is disregarded entirely, and only severe physical punishments are imposed without room for
rehabilitation, individuals may resort to committing even more egregious offences to
conceal their prior wrongdoings. For instance, the fear of brutal punishments incentivizes individuals to engage in additional unlawful acts such as illegal abortions and even killing newborn babies to remove any proof.
📷These barbarian punishments ultimately compelled thousands of mothers and their families in Pakistan to even strangle and kill their own newborn babies with their own hands, and then throw them in the rubbish, to save themselves from the brutal Islamic punishment and to safeguard their honour.
Edhi Foundation found 375 bodies of newborn babies in garbage piles alone in the year 2019, and that too only in one city of Karachi (Pakistan).
It's truly fortunate that Pakistani hospitals continue to perform abortions on a large scale, despite being illegal. Otherwise, thousands of more dead newborn babies would have been found in the garbage piles in Islamic Pakistan.
Compared to Islamic societies, even in incest cases, the parents in non-religious Western societies are not compelled to kill their own newborn babies with their own hands and then throw them in the garbage piles.
Why?
- Because the non-religious West is wise enough not to declare incest a criminal act and then impose barbarian punishments.
- People in incest relationships don't have to go underground, and they can seek professional help freely and without any fear.
- They don't have to kill their babies to remove proof to save themselves from savage punishments.
Please also see this case (
Source) in Pakistan, where a man committed illegal sex with her daughter-in-law. But 2 small grandsons saw them in that state. Upon that man killed both of those 2 small kids in order to save himself from the brutal Islamic punishment. And when the mother tried to save the children, then that man slaughtered her too.
Although sexual frustration is much less in non-religious Western societies, but of course, it is still possible that a man indulges in a sexual relationship with his daughter-in-law there too. But there is no brutal physical punishment for this in Western countries. The maximum punishment is that the husband will divorce the wife and also end his ties with the father. Therefore, if the same incident had happened in the West, then there would have been more chances that those small kids and the mother would not have been killed.
Power Dynamics in the Family:
The power dynamics in the family ... without any sex education ... with total dependence on Mahram males .... with no contact with the outside world ... all these factors make girls extremely vulnerable (especially small girls).
And now look at these Islamic Ruling:
Muwatta Malik Book 41, Hadith 15: Malik said, "The position with us about a woman who is found to be pregnant and has no husband and she says, 'I was forced,' or she says, 'I was married,' is that it is not accepted from her and the hadd is inflicted on her unless she has a clear proof of what she claims about the marriage or that she was forced or she comes bleeding if she was a virgin or she calls out for help so that someone comes to her and she is in that state or what resembles it of the situation in which the violation occurred." He said, "If she does not produce any of those, the hadd is inflicted on her and what she claims of that is not accepted from her."
And the largest Fatwa Website (run by Saudi Salafi Muftis) Islam Q&A writes in its fatwa (
link):
Rape is essentially zina (fornication or adultery) and is proven in the same way as zina is proven, which is with four witnesses. The punishment is one hundred lashes if the man was a virgin and stoning if he was previously married ... Ibn ‘Abd al-Barr (may Allah have mercy on him) said: She is not to be punished if it is proven that he forced her and overpowered her. That may be known from her having screamed and shouted for help. (Al-Istidhkaar, 7/146 ) ...
It is very difficult for a raped woman (or a small child girl) to bring proof of her rape. There are no people present where she is raped who can hear her calls for help, and blood also does not always come. The biggest problem is, perhaps 100% of women don't even know about these Islamic Rulings about rape that they have to immediately present their blood in public. Their first reaction is to hide their face along with their rape. Their own families could kill them in the name of Ghairah.
Do you think that small child girls could act upon these Islamic rulings if they are being raped by their own fathers, brothers, uncles or the Mullah in the Quran schools?
Reformation in the Islamic System is not Possible:
As mentioned earlier, a non-religious system operates as a "Dynamic System," capable of acknowledging mistakes, encouraging open criticism, and facilitating self-reformation. Conversely, an Islamic system functions as a purely "Static System," lacking significant capacity for self-reform. Consequently:
- In an Islamic society, the issue of "sexual frustration" persists due to rigid constraints on the interaction between genders.
- Additionally, the adoption of Barbarian Punishments in cases of sexual transgressions remains entrenched within Islamic societies, perpetuating secondary evils and crimes stemming from the fear of such severe penalties.

I hope that post title is enough for a trigger warning in and of itself.
whoever wrote the WordPress article simply stated the truth and yes, it is a nasty truth.
That Dead-Ikeda-cult SGI longhauler Old's choice of the name "Lolita" for an underage female character is extremely problematic
and illuminating - the Dead-Ikeda-cult SGI member's decision to not only
USE that name but then
DEFEND its use shows a deeply predatory, abusive mentality. First, the defense:
So, B, do you want to verbally assassinate every hetero girl who crushes on her male teacher? What makes you think that lesbian girls don't crush on female teachers? - "Lolita"
PS. I still have a crush on my middle school math teacher. - the backstory-confused "Cousin Emily"
She defends the idea from TWO separate sockpuppet accounts to try and lend some veneer of "popular support" to the fact that she turned her child-character into the
instigator, the seductress, the predator:
I have a new thought. What if we ask Coach to join us in a throuple? I mean our ages, when joined together, equal hers. We are equally mature!
Mari
LOINS, the elderly sockpuppeteer, has a fixation on polyamorous relationships (in which her own author-insert character invariably becomes the focal point, the sun around which everyone else orbits) so naturally she tries to shoehorn these sadly oversexualized
children into an ILLEGAL poly arrangement with an authority figure
who has a RESPONSIBILITY to NOT rape her students! What Mari
LOINS is doing here is turning this "Lolita" into a behaviorally exact copy of the original in the book that was the source of that neologism of the hypersexualized nymphet - you can read a brief analysis of it
here (from just a couple years after the book came out), if you've never read the book.
This paper identifies the problem within the name "Lolita" itself:
“Lolita” itself is part of the difficulty. Although Humbert calls her by assorted names throughout the novel, he reserves “Lolita” almost exclusively for her role in his fantasies and memories. As a result, that rapturously repeated name comes to represent not the novel’s primary female character, but instead her construction as a nymphet within his imagination: “a fanciful Lolita […] overlapping, encasing her; floating between [him] and her, and having no will, no consciousness—indeed, no life of her own”. Electing to call the child by this romantic, “foreign”, exotic diminutive, rather than by her given name, parallels and reinforces Humbert’s other attempts to appropriate her person for his own purposes. Calling her “Lolita”, in other words, is another way of denying her a separate, autonomous existence.
So Mari
LOINS' choice of the name "Lolita" for her oversexualized, aggressively seductive nymphet is
shockingly revealing of her mal
intentions toward this child character.
In the book "Lolita", the main character Humbert Humbert, a character
whose development was stalled in his earliest teens and his maturity stunted, finds the object of his desires at age 38, in this young girl, age 12, so he marries her mother. When the mother serendipitously dies, it's just him left with this child object of his lust, upon whom he projects
ALL responsibility for her
own victimization, even depicting her as a "succubus":
Dolores [Lolita] was just mimicking something she had seen another child do, likely a victim of sexual abuse herself (inappropriate sexual behavior from children suggests they’re being molested).
Humbert chose to view her as some sort of succubus, seducing him for fun and then breaking his heart. He never once actually considered her feelings about anything and always substituted her feelings with his fantasies. It’s pretty telling that he barely considers her a person, just a “nymphette” who exists to torment him, despite his very real torment of her.
Imagine being raped by a step-father who then tells you that your mother is dead and he’ll be sleeping with you for the foreseeable future. Source
Nabokov, the author of "Lolita", coined the term "nymphet" for his oversexualized Lolita - as you can see
here, that term "nymphet" is linked to "nymphomaniac" and "harlot", as a similar meaning to "sex fiend". "Harlot" is another term for "prostitute", and everybody
knows prostitutes are always aggressively seeking new clients to have sex with.
the ways in which the narrator—Humbert Humbert—constructs his account of his experiences with Dolores Haze. He names her “Lolita” and defines her as a nymphet; by representing her as a powerful seductress, he imposes an otherwordly and adult identity upon her. If readers accept this portrayal of her, Humbert's attempt to justify his mistreatment of her—the kidnapping, rape, and violence—threatens to succeed. ... He does not view Dolores as a human being, and so his narrative only offers a highly constructed, stylized image of her. Abstract
In the story, Lolita ends up in fact
leaving Humbert for another grown man; when Humbert catches up with her some years later - here, I'll let
this reviewer tell it:
By then, Lolita is no longer a nymphet, being all of seventeen. And she is married, though not to the perverse playwright, who threw her out when she refused to indulge his taste for sexual fancywork, but to a deaf and earnest young veteran by whom she is hugely pregnant. Yet in spite of “her ruined looks and her adult, rope-veined narrow hands and her goose-flesh white arms,” Humbert knows “as clearly as I know I am to die, that I loved her more than anything I had ever seen or imagined on earth, or hoped for anywhere else.” For her own part, Lolita remembers her bestial stepfather without rancor, but she is politely incredulous at his proposal that she leave her husband for him: “In her washed-out gray eyes, strangely spectacled, our poor romance was for a moment reflected, pondered upon, and dismissed like a dull party.” And now the real horror of their previous relationship, which Mr. Nabokov has kept in solution, so to speak, by skillful comedy, is at last permitted to crystallize. Humbert realizes that the most miserable of family lives would have been preferable to “the parody of incest, which . . . was the best I could offer the waif.”
Obviously, Humbert Humbert was
repulsed by adult, sexually-mature women - even a young woman of only 17 years old. That indicates his
sickness.
And perhaps that's the meta-message of Mari
LOINS' perverted fantasy of her OWN "Lolita" and that character's 15-yr-old hypersexuality - she is playing and replaying a mental tape created by her
own victimization as a minor, the source of her own self-loathing not just as an adult woman, but now an
elderly adult woman. Her adult female characters show they have value through aggressively initiating -
and ABUSIVELY DOMINATING - sexual relationships with both men AND women, rushing into quickie marriages and instant child-bearing - it's
so transparent that these are areas where Mari
LOINS considers herself
lacking. Her "escape" is fantasizing about 15-yr-old hypersexual lesbian girls.
I read a paper once that said the two most important factors in someone becoming a pedophile in adulthood are:
- Having been molested themselves as a child
- Having been raised in a patriarchal, conservative, authoritarian religion (like fundagelical Christianity, like SGI)
There was even a case where a Christian man was defending his nephew, a popular Evangelical pastor who raped at least two children (ages 11 and 13) while in his 20s, by describing one of his victims as a "hartlet":
“How do we know that the hartlet didn’t lead him?” questioned Pastor G’s uncle, Mel Aguilar. “That’s my question too. I don’t know that she didn’t lead him.” Source
The "hartlet" in question was an 11-year-old little girl. Her assaulter was in his 20s. Source
He's talking about girl
children here. And as clearly explained in that WordPress article linked in this post, there is NEVER a situation where a
child is allowed to initiate a sexual relationship with an ADULT because the ADULT is the one who is responsible. It is the ADULT who knows it is wrong even if the child does not. The
responsible ADULT will
refuse to interact with a
child on those terms. Period
t.
"Hartlet" can be defined as "
prostitute", likely a synonym for "harlot", an old-fashioned word for "prostitute" or "sexually promiscuous woman", as indicated here:
I’m guessing that “hartlet” is either the reporter mis-hearing a word or else the trendy new Christianese for “harlot.” I only found it in one other place: here in this misspelling-laced lyric sheet, which is from a Christian singer regarding a woman who “went from a loyal wife to a hartlet.” Source
family rumor: my great grandma or something like that was in the cult and she was also a “hartlet” or prostitute. And supposedly slept with jim jones. Source
Blanche has described having a child molester in her extended family, also a nephew:
when my nephew was convicted of molesting his pre-teen stepdaughter, his entire patriarchal family and their conservative Christian church insisted that he was innocent, despite hearing the same testimony and evidence that convinced 13 jurors (12 regulars + 1 alternate). This is SO typical! Whenever a male in the church abuses a female, even if the victim is a child, it's the victim that gets blamed. Source
This nephew had married this girl's mother two years prior to Blanche meeting the girl for the first time (she was then 11 1/2 years old) and by the time Blanche met her, they were already divorced, but the child's mother had granted visitation privileges to her ex-husband. When Blanche met her, it was just 2 months BEFORE the nephew began molesting the child. Blanche was the ONLY family member to side with this nephew's
victim - those "good Christians" all judged her,
blamed her,
condemned her, and SHUNNED her.
Sounds very SGI, doesn't it?
And if teachers or
coaches become sexually involved with minor students (who may have crushes on them - that detail is
completely irrelevant), THEY are FIRED, charged with crimes, and sentenced to prison! I thought everybody
knew that already, but apparently Mari
loins thinks society is rather shockingly non-progressive in that regard. She
wants her
children to be able to seduce adults, as her Lolita has indicated with her "threesome" "idea" suggestion, with
NO risks to those adults!
Mari
LOINS' has been in the Dead-Ikeda-cult SGI for OVER
50 YEARS - and
this is what she's choosing to do with her free time under an anonymous pseudonym. How's
that for "
creating value in society"?? How's
THAT for "
creating lasting value in society"?? Is this "
creating hope where there is none"?? I'd say
the OPPOSITE! Doesn't this illustrate
instead that Mari
LOINS remains
trapped within her own past trauma, unable to overcome it despite her over-half-a-CENTURY of "human revolution"? What sort of "advertisement" do Mari
LOINS' sick fantasies serve as for the SGI?
the SGI—an ideal organization that could rightly be called a modern utopia—has emerged SGI
I really don't think so.
By encouraging and respecting one another as fellow human beings living together on this planet, we can bring forth the power to tap the limit-less potential within ourselves and others; we can bring forth the power to create the values of happiness and peace.
How does posting creepy fantasies about hypersexualized lesbian minor CHILDREN fit with that?
I want each of you to become a lighthouse in society and become respected and praised by others, so that people will be impressed by you, saying that a great scholar or person is a member of the SGI. At the same time, please be a source of pride for everyone in the organization. Please strive to create harmony and protect your organization. Instead of showing elitism, please be leaders of the common people, who can embrace members of all classes. Ikeda

2024.04.12 06:01 Direct-Caterpillar77 my boyfriend broke up with me over his GBF
I am not The OOP, OOP is u/TA-Lyingfriend my boyfriend broke up with me over his GBF Originally posted to relationship_advice TRIGGER WARNING: verbal abuse, sexual assault, body shaming, death of a loved and mentions of overdose, child abuse, incest, child SA my boyfriend broke up with me over his GBF - recovered via the wayback machine Sept 3, 2022 I think I just ruined my best relationship yet and I wanna fix it so bad. But everyone tells me to either own up or let it go.
Even if it's harsh please tell me and help me.
I (20f) have been seeing this guy Robin (21) for 6 months now. He is the kindest and sweetest man I have ever met. He isn't overprotective, manipulative or anything. He is constantly honest and expresses his issues in a healthy way. All my exes have either abused me or cheated on me and he didn't even yell at me. Anytime he gets angry, he tells me he will be back in 30 minutes, sends me his location and just drives around until he calmed down again.
"I never want to raise my voice against any woman".
He is a dream guy. He is funny and sweet. I had 3 boyfriends in which two of them cheated on me with their "girl best friend". So when Robin told me he wants me to meet his girl best friend, I was scared. He knew of my past and promised me there isn't anything between them. She even helped him set up the dating profile we met through.
When I met her, I felt superior to her somehow. All the girls where prettier then me. She was a bit overweight, a double chin and she has the thickest eyebrows I have ever seen. But there was one thing she had ghat I didn't which was a bigger chest.
We didn't meet up with her alone, but their entire friendgroup. 5 guys, my boyfriend, me and his GBF.
She was nice to me the entire time. Sitting next to me, helping me with inside jokes and even talking to me when Robin got busy. I started feeling bad about how I called her ugly in my head.
We started meeting up regularly and again 3 days ago at Robins flat. When I arrived a hour later after everyone else, I realized how close my boyfriend got to her in the middle of the night and she had tears in her eyes with messier hair. My entire body just filled with panic. They have been texting more and he doesn't want me to see their messages anymore. Now this? I freaked out and accused him on cheating me in front of his entire friendgroup. All his guyfriends just stared in anger and resentment at me and tried to help GBF get out of the room. Her legs were shivering and her eyes were still red from crying. I called her every name in the book and insulted every part of her body. Robin told me to quit it and I told him I can't believe he chose "fatty" over me. I know. I know it was horrible. I regret it.
Especially after finding out she had opened up to the group that she was sexually assaulted last week. I feel disgusting. My boyfriend kicked me out of his apartment that night and told me it's over. I have to go over to his house on Monday to pick up my things. I really do want to fix it but I don't know how. Is there even a way to fix it?? Our relationship was perfect before this and I don't want this one incident to destroy our relationship.
Please help.
TLDR : I've been dating my boyfriend for 6 months. I accused him on cheating on me with his GBF when she actually opened up to him about something horrible that happened to her. He broke up with me because of it and I wanna fix it.
RELEVANT COMMENTS kheperu1367 You can explain to him what happened and what you were thinking. It would actually be a good idea, so that it can be explained to GBF. But there is no saving your relationship. Be honest with yourself and ask if you would take back a guy who did the same thing to you and your friends.
OOP I did try it. I told him that I'm sorry and that I misread the room and everything. He said that if the first thing that comes to my mind when his GBF is crying that it had to do sth with cheating, is ridiculous and he doesn't want that stuff around him.
I tried to talk to her but she said she doesn't wanna see or hear about me again. It's all just a miscommunication I wanna fix but nobody wants to listen to me. I love him so much and don't want this to be the way jt ends
~ ProfPlumDidIt What you want doesn't matter at this point. The fact he dumped you proves that he is every bit the great guy you've believed him to be while your actions showed him that you aren't the mentally stable person he thought you were.
At this point being with you would cost him his entire friend group because none of them will ever forgive you and wouldn't forgive him for staying with someone like you. It's also likely he's disgusted by even the thought of you right now after the harm you caused.
Accept that he's done with you because pushing will only make you look even more psycho and make him even more sure he doesn't want you in his life.
OOP I would block and cut off any friendship for this relationship. He always says it doesn't matter what friends think so why should he dump me for his friends??
He can always find better ones but our relationship was perfect, I know he agrees with me and loves me still. Why is everyone telling me I'm the bad guy, I made a mistake yes but I am not an asshole psychic bitch. I have been thro so much, of course I react in a bad way
OOP on if she tried making amends OOP I tried to apologize but they don't want to hear it.
I barely know the GBF and she doesn't want me around her anymore. She claims I traumatized her and thought we were friends when we really were just acquaintances. I feel bad but I can't fix my relationship with her but I was close to my boyfriend and I don't want to let him go. Of course I want him back, he is my true love
OOP on the GBF past assault OOP I agree, what I told her was horrible and cruel but she isn't some innocent person. I don't care how downvoted I am gonna get, I don't even think the SA was as bad she makes it. Every girl gets grabbed sometimes but someone with her looks and body? Maybe a slight grab that's it. She refuses to tell me how bad it is so I don't even think it was that bad.
In that moment I didn't care how nice she was to me but that she is kissing my boyfriend. I was wrong and I tried to Apologize but she won't hear it. She even threatened to cut my boyfriend out of her life if I contact her through him - that's borderline abusive and controlling.
OOP Has a come to Jesus moment OOP I have read every single comment now. I think the reality and weight of my bs is finally hitting. I have never been so awful and now I did the most horrendous shit ever in my life.
I wanna cry and vomit but I won't. I will call my old therapist on Monday and ask for some sessions again. I thought I was ready to date again but I wasn't. The thing I did to Josephine are horrible and she is not ugly. She was one of the nicest people I know. Or knew. Thanks to everyone calling me out on my bullshit. I will maybe make an update after I packed my stuff on Monday.
& No I was a bad person in this whole ordeal. I don't know what made me snap back but I think it was me maniacally calling my brother and him giving me the talk of reality with some reddit comments helping.
I will take a huge break from dating. At least 2 years. I need that
Update via wayback machine Sept 5, 2022 Hello Reddit
I know many people don't want me to be here but after getting like 40 DMs of people asking for an update or telling me to kms I thought I make it quick.
So I am now living with my brother and his wife for a while. I share a flat with one of my Cousins and she doesn't mind me not living there since I will still pay rent.
I talked with a few redditors in my DMs and even though I said horrible things they helped me a lot. When I was 3 and my brother 12 my mother died from an overdose. Till I was 14 my dad sexually abused me and said that it was because I'm pretty. My brother moved out When he was 18 since my dad was never emotionally present so when I came to him telling him Im scared about being pregnant he took care of it. My dad is still in prison. My boyfriends in the past were like my dad : abusive and emotionally not present. So when I met Robin I thought I was finally in heaven.
I was and still am jealous of Josephine. She isn't the beauty Standard but has a better job, family, more friends and a better Humor. She was also there for Robins depression. When she reached her hand to me, I saw her as a challange. Not as a friend. I wanted to Show that I did achieve something and that my beauty wasn't useless.
Jos was the one who made the friendgroup and introduced everyone to another when they were 6, she was the groupmother but she developed derealization last year and ever since then the group has been dojng their best to protect her. Someone said Jos was maybe a pick me because she was the only girl in a guy group but deleted the comment real quick. She isn't. She is sweet and caring, leave her alone she didn't do shit to you. I did. She wasn't the only girl, there was her and another one who sadly killed herself 3 years ago. She was also the one who shown me reddit. She is mostly on the art side of reddit so I really hope she doesn't see this.
My brother reached out to her for me. I know she has been looking into therapy but doesn't know where to start so I send her a message on how to get therapy here quick and for free. She read the message and replied with a thank you. She called later and I apologized and wished her well. She doesn't forgive me obviously and I don't blame her but her wishing me a quick recovery made me tear up. If you wonder why I didn't tell her sooner about the therapy option, I never wanted anyone to know I had therapy because of a pregnancy scare because of my dad at 14.
I send my brother to pick up my things from Robin. I waited in the car so if he wanted to talk to me he could but wouldn't have to. He came at the end real quick. He gave me a hug and wished me well. I asked if we could stay in contact and he said no. Jos doesn't want me around and he respects it, so do I.
We follow each other on IG still and I saw that they hung out afterwards. Jos looked happy and this was the first time I saw her face and felt happiness and not jealousy.
I called my therapist and will start seeing him regularly again in 3 weeks.
I am not a vile person but I let jealousy and anger get to me and that made me vile. I have a lot of issues I need to fix and I will work on them. I thought I had my BPD and PTSD in control, not at all and I need to fix it. I won't become a POS again towards innocent people.
I won't date anytime in the future, for at least 2 years. I'm going to get my life and personality in control.
Thanks to everyone on reddit for calling me out on my toxic BS and to the kind people who helped me. I didn't talk about my abuse jn years and didn't realize how bad it truly was. My English isn't rhe best so I hope I was clear with my words. There is a lot on my mind and it's not jn English.
I will leave this account and log off of it. I will be okay :) Have a good week everyone
TLDR : I moved to live with my brother for now. I packed my things from my Ex boyfriends house and will start therapy in three weeks. Explained my trauma quickly but the main part is that I am moving on.
OOP made comment on the original BoRU as an update Oct 19, 2022 hello OP here!
• My brother saw the post yesterday and shown it to me. Not gonna lie I didnt want to at first but he told me the comments are worth it. I guess rereading my posts and all I get why people thought this was troll bait LMAO Also thank you all for the kindness. I genuinly dont deserve it but I appreciate it
• Signing into this account again was so weird (also you guys can still send me deaththreats lmao they got more creative but I genuinly dont check this account out) I am logged in on my friends tablet and writing this next to her.
I am seeing a lot of messages as well that I got but ngl I dont really wanna respond to people in my DMs. This post is also really big wow, kinda scary
Anyway uh I saw some comments and I guess I wanted to clear them up.
• About my Username: Genuinly I dont remember why i named it that? I had this account 3 years ago and I think I made a post about a former friend and just reused it.
Edit: WAIT I MADE A MISTAKE
I suck at writing and stuff. I didn't make this account 3 years ago! I wanted to post something this year about my friendship from 3 years ago about a former friend. I am so sorry :(
• I did use fake names, Robin and Josephine arent the real names. Josephine is the name of the first GBF one of my first Boyfriends cheated on me with. I also know she doesnt read these forums, I think she even "blocked" AITA because she only wants to be on the art adivce and cooking tips site of Reddit
• No our arguments before the breakup werent toxic, he had to drive to calm down. He is an emotional person and rather then starting an argument, he likes to drive and listen to music till he calms down and then we talk it out like adults
• I never told him about my Dad. Never. He only knew about the cheating. I thought it was embarrassing to have a pregnancy scare from your dad. Nobody in that friendgroup knows.
• I dont live in the US. Idk why people thing "free therapy" is bad. It is great. I just didnt persue it well back then. I am going to my therapist every Monday and Thursday, each day for 2 hours. My homecountry is amazing when it comes to free healthcare. I guess the only thing I can say is that my therapist is thinking about changing my medication but he says I show some improvement.
• I saw Jos at my doctor last Friday and we just nodded a hello to each other. When I left the office she also left and she asked me if I meant the things I said to her about her body. I said no and that I was jealous of her. I told her she is gorgeous. She smiled and thanked me. I didnt talk to Robin or tried to make any contact with their friendgroup since that day. Also our city is small and we only have one doctor for Women here, so no shock me and her cross paths
• My father will be released from prison soon. I am trying my best to get into a programm to move to another country to study. I cannot live in the same nation as that man. I wont be naming specific stuff like when, why and stuff because I am scared people can track me with this.
• I am in fact not excusing my actions. But instead of not moving on and constantly letting these errors over me. I can not become a good person. I accept that I fucked up and I should never be excused or defended on them. But I should be able to show how I grew from them. The outburst was my fault.
Jos is doing great from what i see on IG, I still follow Robin and he posts regularly. I am living? Going to therapy is rough and I break down in almost every session. Thank you for making this post, the comments under them and rereading the post kinda shown me I did change a bit but not by a lot. I have a long way to go.
I will log off again.
Au Revoir <3
OOP added comments about her family My Brother was also a victim of emotional abuse. I dont blame my brother for not having seen the signs. The moment he found out about it, he has never left my side. HE took care of the police. HE took care of the lawyer and trial. Without him I wouldnt have gone to highschool or gotten the medical care I needed.
I just faked getting better so he can get better. He felt happy when I told him Im happy so I just "got myself together" for him. My brother is my savior and he is doing everything he can to support me. He is still on my side, he helps me and joins my therapy sessions to help me.
Also uh yeah, my mom did die of an overdose. I dont know how you got the idea of a hidden murder. My mom was a junkie, she overdosed, my dad fell into a depressive state yada yada yada and here I am now
OOP's Final comment on everything Also even though we are not friends anymore, do not call them weird people or any other name calling. They had every right of acting like they did. She had just told them about a traumatic event, Robin knew before and helped her explain. This isnt some funny lil drama secret. This is trauma. Please get a grasp of yourself

2024.04.07 20:58 Inverted-Owl Endless and frequent fights and disagreements with my girlfriend because of her jealousy toward my sister.
⚠️ [LONG POST AHEAD] ⚠️
Hello, everyone! To provide some context, my girlfriend (F24) continuously gets jealous of my younger sister (F19), leading to fights and arguments that I (M24) can't really understand. We've been together for almost two years now. Previously, I was unaware of why my girlfriend was feeling jealous of my sister and didn't want to communicate. However, I've managed to have a conversation with her, and I already know her reasons. Unfortunately, this topic often leads to conflicts between us.
When my girlfriend finally communicates with me about the reason why she gets jealous of my sister, it is because I am too close, comfortable, and open with my sister. I am too close to my sister because since she was young, I am the only one who always looks after her. I am the only one she talks to as she grew up, and she opens up and follows me more compared to our parents. Even though now, both of our parents are already gone. So basically, we're orphaned now. Since I am the one who takes care of her ever since, we're comfortable and close to each other.
I admitted that there are things that are uncomfortable and weird because we're too comfortable, and I understand my girlfriend on that. For example, umiihi ako sa arinola (nakatalikod) or nagbibihis (with underwear, of course) in the same room. I sleep wearing just boxers and always shirtless. I understand my girlfriend, so I apologized and fixed that because it's really weird since my sister is dalaga na ngayon. So moving forward.
I noticed that my girlfriend is always paranoid and monitors my conversation with my sister. Even though we're not talking about anything wrong, we're just casually having a conversation as normal siblings. As a trauma response that we'll fight again, I archived our conversation with my sister so she won't get triggered.
One time, she took my phone and said na nakikipag-usap ako sa ibang babae at nagaarchive ako. I confidently responded na I'm not talking to other girls and hindi ako nag-aarchive. Ang pinaka iniisip ko na tinutukoy niya that time ay nakikipag-usap ako sa ibang babae, nagche-cheat ako, at nag-aarchive ako. Kaya confident ako na sinagot ko na hindi at never.
She went to the archived section and saw that my sister was there. Which is my mistake because I did archive. Sobrang tagal na suyuan, iyakan, at pananakit sa akin tapos pinapili niya ako kung kapatid ko raw ba or siya. I cried to her, explaining that I couldn't simply abandon my sister. She's family, and it feels like I'm also her guardian as her older brother. It took so long before I convinced her. In the end, the fight ended with me just distancing myself from my sister and not talking to her much anymore.
Nag-uusap pa rin kami ng kapatid ko ngayon pero more on kumustahan at small talk na lang. My sister is already working now. She temporarily stopped going to school in order to work and help me with my finances, as we don't have money for her college. She's renting her own apartment, and I'm also renting my own apartment. We're living separately because I'm not including her in my apartment due to my girlfriend's jealousy, but my sister doesn't know that. Sa tuwing nag-uusap kami mostly kumustahan, small talk such as when we got a new haircut, bought new clothes, new style, achievements at work, or when we need financial help from each other.
Recently, while I was showering and my girlfriend had my phone, she invaded and read our conversation on Messenger. Sobrang nagalit siya. She asked why I'm so easily showing affection to others while she, I'm the only one she gives affection to. She is referring to my praises for my sister whenever my sister shares something like new clothes, a new haircut, or achievements. Praises such as "Ganda, Bagay, Angas, Galing, and etc." which I believe are just normal responses.
She asked why I still accept help from others when she's there, referring to financial assistance from my sister. My sister offers me help because she knows I am struggling financially. I don't ask for financial help from my partner because as a man, it's hard for me to hear from her that she's the only one who gives, helps, and spends money between the two of us. Even with her little money, she feels guilty spending it because she thinks I might need it. I don't want to be a burden, so I refrain from asking for financial help from her. I also don't want to hear any more about it. Sobrang nagsstruggle lang ako that time dahil nawalan ako ng trabaho at my only source of income is a part-time job. Sobrang nahirapan din ako maghanap ng trabaho dahil ayaw niya akong mag-work temporarily sa call center at gusto niyang may communication pa rin even nasa work. By the way, sa dates and alis namin, I pay for everything, naglalabas siya kapag gipit lang ako, which is minsan lang.
With that being said, our fight was just settled because I said I won't praise my sister anymore and I'll just limit talking to her even though I can't see what's wrong why she got mad because we're not doing anything wrong and talking about anything wrong, I believe what we're doing and talking about is just normal for siblings and yet she accuses us of incest. Inintindi ko na lang yung selos kaya nag-compromise ako.
Recently, she saw a TikTok video about a daughter having an affair with her father. She linked it to me again and said that's why she's always overthinking and getting mad because there's something between me and my sister. I got mad, so I said I got involved again. Her answer is, hindi kita dinadamay, nakikita ko lang sa actions mo. I explained that there's no incest between me and my sister, and I never thought of that. She said I'm invalidating her and justifying my actions. She said she doesn't understand me. Nakikipag-break siya sa akin, just like what she's always bringing up, pero hindi lang ako nakikipaghiwalay.
I badly needed some thoughts, opinions, perspective, and advice sa inyo. Hindi ko na rin kasi alam kung ako ba talaga yung may mali at kasalanan. Hindi ko na alam gagawin ko. Hindi ko na alam. Thank you in advance sa lahat ng sasagot at magbabasa nito.

2024.04.07 12:27 MixGroundbreaking603 How to migrate to ao3
Hello there! Due to recent developments I an ao3 user decided to make a post helping all of you that want to migrate. You might have noticed that many ao3 users dislike wattpaders. The reason for this is no other than the fact wattpad and ao3 have very different social rules that many wattpaders don't learn making the experience for us unpleasant. Thus is what I will be helping you with.
First and foremost:
THERE IS NO ALGORITHM
What does this mean? People find fics by filtering through tags, fandoms, length etc. There IS NO algorithm that pushes the "most liked" or "most recent" fics. Everything has a chance to be the first fic in the fandom or tags page until someone else posts something.
DO NOT DEMAND KUDOS OR COMMENTS FROM READERS.
Its one thing to say kudos and comments are appreciated and another thing to DEMAND them. Do not hold fics hostages (saying you will update ONLY if you get a certain amount of kudos/comments) frankly it only makes you look like an immature, annoying twelve year old and no-one wants that.
DONT LIKE DON'T READ
Honestly this is the most important one. You have no idea how much we loathe people who announce their exits or read the tags click on the fics and then comments about how bad the author is for writing x.
IF YOU CAN'T SAY ANYTHING NICE, DON'T SAY ANYTHING AT All
Commenting isnt necessary
Which brings us to
AO3 IS AN ARCHIVE FIRST
There will be fucked up things in it. No the author OBVIOUSLY does NOT condone necrophila or bestiality or incest. That does not mean they have to write a chapter long note explaining that. DO NOT LIKE DO NOT READ.
THERES NO AO3 APP
All ao3 apps are unofficial from third parties and should not be used. There was even a scandal some time back because one app made you pay to read and some user though it was official and complained about it
DEAD DOVE DO NOT READ
is a warning or tag used to indicate that a fanwork contains tropes or elements that may be deemed dark and disturbing without explicitly condemning the sensitive aspects. Its a way to tell readers that, seriously, this fic contains something unpleasant – you have been warned. Do not complain about a work having suicide if its TAGGED as suicide.
DO NOT CENSOR
Dont use sh!t use shit. Don't use unalive use suicide. If you cant write the word you shouldn't be writing about the topic. AND UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU USE CENSORED WORDS ON TAGS It makes it difficult for people to exclude things that make them uncomfortable BUT it also nakes it difficult for people who WANT to find works talking about this topics.
FOR TAGGING:
& is for platonic relationships / for romantic and sexual
Of course this arent all the rules but they ARE the most important. Feel free to ask me anything.
I will be updating this post when I think of something else important
Basically just don't be an ass

2024.03.28 18:01 ohmage_resistance Another hard mode bingo card wrap up
I finished my non-themed hard mode card!* I decided to post these reviews in case anyone finds them helpful. I also decided to add sections reflecting on how well they fit the prompt and sometimes books/media that were somewhat similar (similar being really loosely defined, ymmv).
*I actually finished a while ago, I just wanted to post my ace/aro themed card wrap up first.
Title with a Title: The First Sister by Linden A. Lewis - Brief summary: A woman is in a religious order that forces her to be a sex worker and wants to get out, and a man searches for his soldier partner who might have betrayed him.
- Review: It was entertaining enough, but I think the themes could have been handled better. I disliked most of the twists, I feel like they either were not nuanced or made some of the representation in the story worse. Also, most of the decisions made by the people in charge in these books make no sense when you think about it.
- How well did it fit the prompt: It did, First Sister was a position in the religious hierarchy. Not much to say here.
Superheroes: Dreadnought by April Daniels - Closeted trans girl gets to magically transition as a side effect of getting superpowers.
- I really liked the representation of being a trans girl in this one, and also the discussion of emotionally abusive parents and transphobia were really impactful. The superhero parts of the story were the least interesting parts for me, mostly because I’m not a superhero person.
- Similar books: If you want a more queernorm take on queer teenage superheroes, Sidekick Squad by C.B. Lee is a great option! Book 2 has a trans teenage boy main character.
- How well did it fit the prompt: It felt like a straightforward take on superheroes, which was actually pretty refreshing considering how many books I’ve read that try to subvert things and show that the heroes are really the bad guys.
Bottom of TBR: Kindred by Octavia Butler - 1960s Black women gets time traveled back into 1815 slave plantation.
- This wasn’t a fun read, but it was a really important one. I really liked how it depicted how feeling entitled to other human beings can really twist a person and cause them to do abhorrent things, I’ve read other books that depicts slave owners as basically evil psychopaths (which some undoubtably were), but I feel like most probably were similar to the slave owners in this book. In other words, the real antagonist felt more like the entire institution of slavery than any particular individual without letting individuals off the hook. It also depicted how slavery tore apart families and communities, which I knew about but never had shown to me in such a visceral way before.
- Similar books: Incidents in the Life of a Slave Girl by Harriet Jacobs is a great supplemental read. It’s a first hand account of what it’s like to be an enslaved women, with a focus on how the author was constantly threatened with sexual assault by men in positions of power over her.
- How well did it fit the prompt: I didn’t keep an organized by date TBR, but I’ve definitely been meaning to read something by Octavia Butler since I’ve started reading more adult fiction. I kept procrastinating on starting it though, which it was good to overcome.
Magical Realism: Lakelore by Anna-Marie McLemore - Two Latine, non-binary teens deal with being neurodivergant and start forming a friendship.
- I really liked this one. It definitely focused on some perspectives I don’t typically see focused on (ADHD and dyslexic, Latine, non-binary), and it was delightfully intersectional (like how one of one character’s methods of handling their ADHD tied into their culture). It definitely felt more contemporary than what I’m used to, which was surprisingly refreshing.
- Similar books: Cemetery Boys might work for a trans Latino story? I haven’t read that yet though. I’ve read The House of Rust as a different coming to age magical realism story, although it feels pretty different.
- How well did it fit the prompt: Oddly. I think most magical realism books have the magical part be known to the wider world and unquestioned, but this magical realism element (a magical lake) was a secret between the two main characters. It definitely felt magical realism like to me, pulling from a common source of the few other Latino magical realism stories I know of, mostly because the fantastical elements worked off of more dream/symbolic logic than the more or less internally consistent rules of more typical fantasy books.
Young Adult; Siege of Rage and Ruin by Django Wexler - Two sisters with dangerous magic reunite after being separated and work on a rebellion in a city district under siege together.
- This felt pretty anti-climatic to me. Probably because I hated everything about the way the emperor and the councilor dude was handled. It felt very “we just need to get rid of this one evil person who isn’t even the emperor” instead of focusing on systematic injustices, and the ending felt a bit deus ex machina for me. The audiobook wasn’t very good, which didn’t help. I really liked the first book in the series, which is why I was so disappointed. The 2nd one was worse, and I was hoping this one would turn the trend around, but it didn’t. I was also annoyed about the love triangle set up for the younger sister, but at least it didn’t end up going anywhere.
- Similar books: Elemental Trilogy, The Beyonders, etc: There’s a lot of YA trilogies that nailed the landing for me much more than this one.
- How well did it fit the prompt: It’s definitely YA that wasn’t too romance focused, which was my goal for this one. I mostly chose it because this is a YA series that I started when I was a teen primarily reading YA, and I wanted to see how it ended.
Mudane Jobs: The Redoubtable Pali Avramapul by Victoria Goddard - Political science professor who’s secretly a former adventurous rebel goes on a research mission and meets an old friend.
- It was cool to see some things in the Lays of the Hearth-Fire series fleshed out from a different character’s perspective. Also, getting a little bit more information about what happened in between different events in The Hands of the Emperor and At the Feet of the Sun was really fun. Goddard is still great at handling interpersonal relationships in a way I find compelling, but Pali was no Kip (she came across like a bit of a jerk, especially knowing how much she ended up hurting a different character) which did lower my engagement a little. Also, Pali not realizing she was studying her friend the entire time…I can’t tell if that’s better or worse than Kip not realizing his favorite musician is his Radiancy.
- How well did it fit the prompt: Well, political science professor isn’t a super normal job, but it exists in the real world, so I’m going to count it. It’s also at least tangentially related to parts of the plot, that counts, right? TBH, this square was giving me more trouble than I thought, so I decided not to overthink it.
Published in the 00s: Perdido Street Station by China Miéville - Scientist gets lab specimens from sketchy sources and doesn’t take proper lab precautions. It doesn’t end well, predictably. With a bonus of being set in a weird city with lots of philosophical ramblings.
- This book was pretty slow and not super interesting for me. I’ve learned I don’t really like gross books, and this is definitely deliberately trying to be gross. I also am not a philosophy person, so I feel like I didn’t appreciate much of what Miéville was trying to do with that. His prose felt a bit obnoxious to me? Like it would have been more impressive that he used a bunch of uncommon words if he didn’t repeat so many (I swear undulate must have been used at least 15 times). The slake moths didn’t scare me, and I would have appreciated the creative world building more if I cared about literally any character. I can see why other people like it, it's just not for me.
- Similar books: New Crobizon is basically like Ankh Morpork in the City Watch Discworld books, but instead of humorous remarks on human nature you get gross weirdness and cynicism. It was also similar to The City and the City, the one other book by China Mieville that I’ve read but less focused on one issue and more weird.
- How well did it fit the prompt: It was published in the correct time frame. I kind of wanted to pick a book that wasn’t on the best of list at all, but I also wanted to read this because I’ve seen people hype it up and I wanted to see if I would like a more fantasy book by Miéville more than The City and the City. I did not, I don’t think China Miéville is for me.
Angels/Demons: When the Angels Left the Old Country by Sacha Lamb - A Jewish angel and demon team up to find a lesbian that immigrated to America from a shtetl in Poland in about 1904.
- This was pretty enjoyable. I liked the representation of Ashkenazi Jewish heritage and how well that tied into the time period and also the angel/demon elements. There’s also some fun queerness. The pacing could be a bit weird at times.
- Similar books: Do I need to say it? Good Omens. I actually like this one a bit better though. The chavrusa dynamic between the characters was really cool. Being based off of Jewish stories instead of Christian ones felt more new and refreshing to me, and it also had more queer characters so it felt a bit less queer bait-y. I think some people liked the humor in Good Omens more than me or connected to those characters more, which is fair, but not the case for me.
- How well did it fit the prompt: Very well. Not only did it fit the prompt exactly, it also did it in a non obvious way.
Short stories: Africa Risen: a New Era of Speculative Fiction edited by Sheree Renée Thomas, Oghenechovwe Donald Ekpeki, and Zelda Knight - An anthology of African and African diaspora SFF stories
- Mixed bag in that I liked some stories more than others. It ended up feeling a bit too long so that some stories dragged. I also would have liked it if it listed the cultures the stories were based off of, some weren’t obvious until I looked up the author.
- Similar books: I’m not a huge anthology person, Taaqtumi (Inuit horror anthology) is the only other one I’ve read recently. The introduction of Africa Risen mentions Dark Matter: A Century of Speculative Fiction from the African Diaspora, Dark Matter: Reading the Bones, Cotton Tree Root: Caribbean Fabulist Fiction, and Mojo: Conjure Stories, and a lot more, none of which I have read.
- How well did it fit the prompt: It fit. I think short story anthologies can be a great way to learn about new authors. I think ones themed around race/culture are a great way to learn about these issues and find underrepresented authors whose style works for me, so I’m planning on reading more.
Horror: The Library at Mount Char by Scott Hawkins - A librarian adopts and abuses some children so they get arcane knowledge. Now they’re adults, he’s missing, and they are not handling it well.
- It was interesting how the more horrific stuff in this book was treated so nonchalantly by the main characters. It was definitely an odd read, I just don’t know if it stuck with me.
- Similar books: The Magnus Archives came the closest, especially in season 5? They feel like they have a sort of similar vibe to me.
- How well did it fit the prompt: It definitely was more fantasy than a lot of other horror books, it didn’t feel like it used horror conventions much? I’ve learned that fiction books don’t really scare me, which is a con in that that’s what horror books are supposed to do, right? but a pro in that I don’t enjoy being scared, so I’ll probably read more horror books if they sound interesting now.
Self Published: The Last Fang of God by Ryan Kirk - A father and daughter in a Norse inspired setting go on a journey so that the girl can complete a ritual or else she dies.
- This one felt pretty generic to me, and also the female lead was written exactly how an adult man views a stereotypical teenage girl. If you like quest/travel stories you might have better luck.
- Similar media: Take father daughter dynamic important directly from a family/children’s movie and put it in a norse inspired setting and make it more violent. I’m not going to bother with specific examples.
- How well did it fit the prompt: I was kind of hoping to find a book had even less ratings that was out for longer (I’ve read several books for my other card that fit that criteria), but I decided to pick one of the SPFBO finalists that fit the hard mode criteria and I could read via my library instead (Hoopla is very convenient). This book worked. Ironically, I also read a 2023 SPFBO contestant for my other card that got knocked out in the first round that I liked better.
Middle East: We Hunt the Flame by Hafsah Faizal - Hunter girl and assassin boy go on a quest to find a MacGuffin.
- Not my favorite. It’s the type of YA fantasy story that I find pretty frustrating: the main plot ostensibly is the adventure quest thing, but if it comes between that and the romance, the romance is the author’s priority every time. The romance is also the attraction fueled enemies to lovers type thing that my brain is too aro ace to understand but I think is a major reason why a lot of people like it? The male lead is such an edgelord he was impossible for me to take seriously. The female lead was super talented and skilled right up until the narrative needed her not to be. I’m not in the target audience for this one, and I probably should have DNFed.
- (Not?) Similar books: The Bruising of Qilwa by Naseem Jamnia has the Middle East inspired world building (specifically Persian in this case). It is interested representing not just surface level details like foods, but also the way that distinctly different cultures in the area can come into conflict. Also, no romance, which is a plus for me.
- How well did it fit the prompt: It’s definitely inspired by the Middle East, but I’m going to leave it to own voices reviews to tackle how well it was handled overall.
2023: Godkiller by Hannah Kaner - A grumpy Godkiller and a knight-turned-baker escort a girl and her small god to a city.
- Not a bad, but it didn’t amaze me. For some reason, it just felt a bit too generic for me. Maybe it was the quest/traveling part? I also really wanted to know where the little god came from but they didn’t answer it in this book, which was disappointing. The girl also wasn’t the most realistic child character I’ve read. I did like the representation in it—especially the disability representation. I’m not disabled, so I’m not an expert in what makes for good representation, but it felt like the author was trying for once which is honestly pretty rare in mainstream fantasy books.
- How well did it fit the prompt: It came out in 2023 and was a debut. I preferred my other card’s 2023 debut (The Meister of Decimen City).
Multiverse: The Space Between Worlds by Micaiah Johnson - A woman works for a company to collect data from other dimensions where she has died. Things aren’t quite what they seem.
- I liked this book. I found the themes about class, race, abuse, and capitalism to be pretty interesting. I saw a lot of the twists coming, but they were still executed pretty well and the plot kept me engaged. However, the ending and the some of actions of the villain felt a bit unrealistic to me.
- How well did it fit the prompt: It was indeed a multiverse. I wanted to read a book with a multiple dimensions type storyline because I chose a portal fantasy for my other card.
POC Author: Goliath by Tochi Onyebuchi - Literary sci fi that explores white flight, gentrification, and racial prejudice in a near future sci fi setting.
- I really liked the way this one explored it’s themes for the most part. It did a great job representing working class Black (and also Latino a bit) culture (according to own voices reviews I found). I haven’t seen these themes explored in any other book, so that was cool. That being said, there’s no way one nuclear plant melting down would cause the entire United States to basically collapse. Like it would be bad, but not that bad. Sorry, that broke my suspension of disbelief. It’s also a very 2020 book, because although these topics have been talked about for ages, you can really tell that it was informed by the author’s cynicism about what 2020s activism could accomplish. The ending was really abrupt.
- Similar books: Ummm…The Book of Phoenix by Nnedi Okorafor is a futuristic Black rage story. Although I think this one did a better job and is more grounded in reality where The Book of Phoenix is more mythic.
- How well did it fit the prompt: very well, if a bit depressingly. It’s also a bit more near future than distant future, but hey, that counts.
Bookclub/readalong: The Justice of Kings by Richard Swan - A guy who’s a justice (jury, judge, and executioner) and his apprentice try to solve a murder mystery.
- I really felt nothing from this book. Like 0 connection to anything in it at all. IDK why. Maybe because the way it handled the justice system was so far removed to any real world commentary (at least, as far as I could tell), it felt kind of meaningless to me, it was more philosophical than practical? I will say that I was a bit annoyed at being constantly told how smart and amazing the female lead was, but she never shows it.
- Similar books: The Shamer’s Chronicles series. It deals with shame instead of justice, but is a great nuanced take on how shame/guilt is important in the justice system but can also be misused. It is YA though.
- How well did it fit the prompt: I did comment on the Goodreads book club post for it, so mission accomplished. I didn’t end up having too many good discussions on it (feeling nothing doesn’t inspire conversations), but it did get me in the habit of participating in book clubs more often, so that’s great. (Shoutout to Beyond Binaries for being a lot of fun!)
Novella: The Deep by Rivers Solomon - Mermaid descendants of the pregnant women tossed overboard slave ships deal (or don’t deal) with generational trauma.
- I liked the themes, but could have used a more cohesive plot to make them blend in a bit more? It just felt a bit choppy to me. Either that or the book club discussion questions at the end of my copy really threw me off.
- Similar
books media: Bookish Realm has some great YouTube videos (short, long) on Black mermaids in fiction (there’s a bunch of cool history and culture there that I didn’t know about before). Also, obviously, listen to the clippings song The Deep and Drexciya if you want to follow the inspiration. Also, there’s a lot of other art inspired by Drexciya’s ideas if you want to fall down a rabbit hole. - How well did it fit the prompt: It was an interesting novella, but I think it felt a bit too choppy to me to really master the novella form imo. I was more interested in the ideas rather than the form.
Mythical Beasts: The Black Gryphon by Mercedes Lackey and Larry Dixon: - A gryphon warrior and a healetherapist/sex worker are friends in a war camp.
- Honestly, this one had a bit too much slice of life parts and not enough action for me. I can like books that are slice of life, but this one had a bit too much of a romance focus for me. It also had a bit too much black and white morality where it seemed like it was letting one character off the hook for doing some messed up stuff because he’s just obviously a good guy.
- How well did it fit the prompt: I wanted to read a griffon book, mission accomplished.
Elemental Magic: Fire Logic by Laurie J Marks - Lesbian wanderecultural ambassadowarrior of a genocided people participates in a rebellion with the help of a peaceful, magical blacksmith with a drug addiction.
- A bit of a tough read at the time, but I liked it in general. The pacing should have felt more choppy than it did, and I liked the way the character relationships developed. Also, fun to read a queernorm book published in 2002. There was a bit of distance from the POVs though and certain themes I need to read the sequels on before I decide how I feel about them.
- Similar books: It had some similar classic fantasy vibes to like, The Deed of Paksenarrion, but not the same idealized good versus evil fight. It’s a weird book that feels both old and new at the same time.
- How well did it fit the prompt: Oddly. The elemental magic was more of a personality type thing with occasional non intuitive related magic powers (like intuition and visions for the ones with fire powers), rather than a straight forward, you control x element. But close enough for me.
Myths and Retellings: Deerskin by Robin McKinley - A retelling of Donkeyskin about a woman recovering from some really traumatic events (rape, incest, miscarriage).
- Really beautifully written, and for the most part really sensitive. It did bother me a bit that the story criticized fairy-tale logic to explain how people dismissed the warning signs at the beginning, but leaned into it at the end to get the traditional happily ever after and magical healing. That being said, Ash and company are the best dogs.
- Similar books: Tess of the Road also deals with recovery from trauma, but with a bit more of a recovering from purity culture and family expectations bend as well, with a messy, complicated teenage protagonist. On a completely different note, for my other card I read The Ice Princess’s Fair Illusion by Dove Cooper, which was also a retelling of a lesser known problematic fairytale, although it was a lot less dark.
- How well did it fit the prompt: It was very recognizably a retelling, even if it did change a lot of the plot. I wanted to read a non-fantasy romance fairytale retelling story. There was some romance but that wasn't the focus.
Queernorm setting: Witch King by Martha Wells - A demon body snatcher with pain magic wakes up from a year long sleep and wants to figure out who betrayed him and why + flashbacks to the past.
- This totally felt like a Martha Wells fantasy to me (very competent protagonist with trust issues and some found family elements? Yep, that's exactly what I'm looking for from her). It’s a lot less character focused than Murderbot and is more world building focused. I think some people were thrown off by the flashbacks interrupting the pacing. You also have to roll with the world building, not much gets explained.
- Similar books: Any other Martha Wells backlog fantasy (I’ve read Wheel of the Infinite, City of Bones, and Books of the Raksura) (Not Murderbot)
- How well did it fit the prompt: It was queernorm is a way that was surprisingly casual. Like there’s gay and lesbian relationships that were treated very normally. I also liked how no one’s gender was assumed by physical appearance alone (Kai used they/them pronouns for people until it was clear), which made sense considering how the demons work. I personally prefer the more aggressively queer mostly indie queernorm books that will make it incredibly obvious.
Coast or Island Setting: A Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula K. Le Guin - A boy starts learning to become a wizard in wizard school and must overcome hubris.
- Not this book’s fault (it’s the original, or at least on older example), but it felt like I’ve already read too many of the plot beats in this already, so it didn’t feel new or that interesting. Even the magic system feels worn out to me now. Ged at least learned from his mistakes the first time, so that was nice.
- Similar books: Any other book with a know-it-all child/teen male main character who needs to learn the perils of hubris. Actually, a little like the King Killer Chronicles in that sense, but more to the point and with Ged actually having a character arc, unlike Kvothe. The magic seemed similar to Eragon, but I imagine Eragon got it from this book.
- How well did it fit the prompt: I mean, it fit perfectly based of the description of the prompt. I’ve heard that this book based off of Polynesian cultures and I was hoping for some more cultural elements to be represented, but besides the main character’s skin tone, I didn’t really see it. Admittedly, I listened to the audiobook narrated by Rob Inglis, and his extremely British voice did not help.
Druids: Dreaming the Eagle by Manda Scott - A retelling of Boudica's life.
- This book was really well written, but the combination of slow pacing and traumatic events made it really hard to get through. I don’t think I can handle a sequel, especially since I know how it’s going to end. I liked the attention to detail when it came to the setting, and the author’s love of nature (and horses) really came through. I also liked how surprisingly queer it was. I shouldn’t have been so surprised, but I still was.
- Similar books: It reminded me a bit of Lavinia by Ursula K. Le Guin in that both are feminist retellings that felt like they stayed closer to the historical period. Also, there was a love of nature and a more mystical feeling to the fantasy elements of both. Lavinia was less dark though.
- How well did it fit the prompt: I feel like this one was prioritizing being historical fiction first, retelling/tragedy second, and fantasy a distant third, especially because the fantasy elements blended smoothly into the culture of the Iceni tribe. It was cool to see what actual Celtic druids might have been like (not that they were called druids).
Featuring Robots: Klara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro - Robot doll makes observations about the world, makes friends with a chronically ill girl (as she is assigned to), and worships the sun for some reason?
- This book is a book about AIs—sorry AFs—written by someone who clearly has no clue how AIs actually work. Like Klara was written as an oddly stilted child with a bunch of quirky traits that no machine learning program would have (what on earth was up with the sun thing?). Also, the bond between Klara and Josie was pretty much unexamined, despite it being really messed up on a power balance and also codependence level. Even the themes about death and dying wasn’t dealt with enough focus or nuance for me, especially with the ending of Josie suddenly being healed. Also, the ending would have been so much cooler imo if it was ambiguous if Josie had been secretly replaced by an AF (new body + copy of Klara’s code) and was responding to the sun powering her up, or if the sun had actually healed Josie.
- Similar books: Speak by Louisa Hall! AI dolls written by someone who at least somewhat understands the theory and history behind machine learning and chatbots. It handles its themes better on almost every level in my opinion.
- How well did it fit the prompt: On a surface level? Klara is indeed a robot. Did Klara act like a robot? No. Maybe like a pop culture idea of what a robot is.
Sequel: The Last Echo of the Lord of Bells - A giant battle with creative uses of magic to close out a series.
- It was a bit of a slow start, and some of the fighting was a bit tedious after so many pages, but hey, it did deliver everything I was expecting (creative uses of magic, very large battle) from this series’s finale.
- Similar books: Basically like Cradle’s finale, but not quite so overpowered.
- How well did it fit the prompt: Book 7 in a series isn’t bad. It’s nice to have closed the Mage Errant series out.
Stats and stuff: - Author gender: 40% Female, 32% Male, 16% Nonbinary, 8% Mixed
- Author race/ethnicity: 32% People of color, 68% white or unknown
- New to Me Authors: 68% new to me, 28% not new to me, 4% partially new to me
- Series vs Standalones: 44% standalones, 56% in series (11/14 first book in series...I don't think I'll be continuing most of these series otherwise I'd be in trouble.)
If you actually made it through all of this, thanks for reading!

Last year, I did a bingo card with only books containing asexual and/or aromantic representation. I wasn’t sure if I could do it again, but I got some ideas after seeing this years card, so I decided to go for it. Because I like to make my life harder than it needs to be, this year I also did all hard mode. So here are my reviews; I hope somebody finds them helpful. I’m ordering roughly based on quality of representation. I tended to prioritize by how relevant a character being a-spec was to the story as well as avoiding harmful tropes/stereotypes. These are only my opinions though–other a-spec people might disagree!
You can find my a-spec themed card from last year
here. Also,
u/recchai did two(!) a-spec cards this year, so I would recommend checking out their
wrap up post as well.
Helpful definitions/abbreviations:
- Ace/asexual: someone who experiences little to no sexual attraction
- Aro/aromantic: someone who experiences little to no romantic attraction
- Allo/allosexual: someone who experiences sexual attraction the typical way
- Alloro/alloromantic: Someone who experiences romantic attraction the typical way
- Ace-spec: on the asexual spectrum; someone who relates the asexual experience more than the allosexual one
- Aro-spec: on the aromantic spectrum; someone who relates the aromantic experience more than the alloromantic one
- A-spec: anyone on the asexual or aromantic spectrums
- Demi(sexual/romantic): someone who experiences (sexual/romantic) attraction only after a bond has formed with a specific person. Ie no crushes or immediate sexual attraction.
- Grey(sexual/romantic): someone who rarely experiences (sexual/romantic) attraction
- Aro ace: aromantic asexual
- Aro allo: allosexual aromantic
- QPqueer platonic relationship: a certain type of relationship common in a-spec spaces that isn’t romantic but isn’t the way society typically views platonic relationships/friendships either. One common example is a friendship that has the same level of commitment as a romantic relationship (such as permanently living or raising children together). There’s lots more varieties of QPRs than that.
Let me know if you have any other terminology questions! I tried not to include too much jargon, but it’s really hard to talk about some of these without it.
Rules:
All books must include some sort of a-spec representation. Characters who have a-spec traits due to their non-human nature (ie Murderbot from Murderbot Diaries) or magic (ie Tarma from Vows and Honor) do not count. Neither do head cannons (characters whose sexualities are up for debate). Characters who are confirmed to be a-spec by the author but with no textual evidence (ie Keladry from Protector of the Small) do not count. So every character must be confirmed by the words asexual, aromantic, ace, aro, etc being used or must be described as having an a-spec experience (so even something as vague as “not liking people that way” or “not interested in sex/romance” count).
Reviews:
Myths/Retellings: The Ice Princess's Fair Illusion by Dove Cooper
- Summary: A verse novel King Thrushbeard retelling, but with a-spec characters
- Representation: lesbian ace and aro ace main characters. Generally a really great job exploring the asexual spectrum. There was a lot of discussion about certain a-spec topics—such as the importance of labels, how QPRs work, and how sex-repulsion can manifest. I really liked how changing the character’s orientations changed the motivations and personalities of the leads from being kind of gross (in the original story) to something more wholesome without changing any major plot elements. Unfortunately the representation did lead to going off on tangents at times.
- Review: The verse novel aspect didn’t really work for me here. The story was told as a conversation between the two leads, and poetry just doesn’t feel like natural dialogue. Also, there were too many tangents and skimming over story beats. I think the retelling bit worked very well though.
Published in 2023: The Meister of Decimen City by Brenna Raney
- Summary: A quasi-supervillain had to deal with being under government surveillance, taking care of her sentient dinosaur children, and stopping her much more evil twin brother.
- Representation: questioning greyromantic ace main character, This one had a more classic “realizing I’m ace” plot line, but it was well executed. I really liked seeing a sexually active/sex indifferent ace character, those are pretty rare. I’m not a huge fan of the ace evil genius trope, but this book did a way better job of it than Vengeful by VE Schwab.
- Review: I liked it. The zany superhero/supervillian stuff wasn't quite to my taste, but I really liked the nuanced depictions of trauma and messy family relationships.
Self Published: Legacy of the Vermillion Blade by Jay Tallsquall
- Summary: A classic fantasy story about a man’s struggle with an ancestral curse and finding his lost childhood love.
- Representation: gay ace main character, gay ace side character. This one did a great job portraying some common asexual experiences. I found it especially refreshing to read about a more masculine asexual character—those are very rare.
- Review: I had a pretty good time. There was some parts of the pacing and tone that felt a bit off. I really liked the surprisingly healthy masculinity of the main character and also the importance of non-romantic bonds as well as romantic ones.
Superheroes: Not Your Backup by C.B. Lee (Book 3 in the Not Your Sidekick series)
- Summary: A girl and her friends team up against a corrupt superhero system while still dealing with some drama of teenage life.
- Representation: Questioning aro ace main character, aro ace side character. This one had a pretty solid subplot of the main character questioning if she’s aro ace and if she wants to turn the relationship she is in into a QPR. It was interesting to see a character who learned about asexuality and aromanticism in sex ed (imagine that!) but thought it didn’t apply to her reevaluate some of her assumptions while questioning.
- Review: This one was ok. I feel like the plot went on too many tangents, some of which felt pretty pointless. I do really like the diversity of this series though.
Coastal/Island: At the Feet of the Sun by Victoria Goddard
- Summary: A very successful bureaucrat starts a very eventful retirement.
- Representation: a-spec main character (probably gray-sexual). So this one could have been clearer about the difference between sexual and romantic attraction, I feel like that would really help make the representation more clear. On the other hand, the fanoa relationship between Cliopher and Fitzroy was so well executed! It ends up being very similar to a QPR. Seeing Cliopher’s doubts about ever being able to find this kind of relationship that works for him melt into happiness when he finally does was just so satisfying. Also, there was some really interesting commentary on how the Achilles and his pal/Sapho and her friend way of looking at historical or fictional relationships can get tricky and can leave out a-spec interpretations of those relationships.
- Review: This was a new favorite book for me! There is no plot besides some fairly random tangents, but the character writing was so good.
Sequel: City of Deceit by Claudie Arseneault
- Summary: Political fantasy book with a large cast where literally every character is queer in some form.
- Representation: aro ace, questioning demi-biromantic ace, heterosexual aro, questioning greysexual greyromantic, questioning demisexual. I liked seeing the diversity of different a-spec experiences shown here and the interactions between a-spec characters. I’m curious to see where these characters will go in the fourth book in this series.
- Review: The political intrigue part of the book fell a bit flat, mostly because all the characters were way too idealistic. There were also some plot points that felt repetitive and not really needed.
Magical Realism (HM): The Bone People by Keri Hulme:
- Summary: A lonely artist becomes friends with a Maori man and his non-verbal adopted son. (Content warning: child abuse)
- Representation: aro ace main character
- Published in 1984, this is the earliest a-spec representation I know of. It’s one of the best examples of someone who is a-spec but doesn’t have the words for it or have access to the a-spec community that I’ve read, which is no surprise because the author was in that exact position. I also liked the untraditional relationships that formed between characters. The downside was that a lot of concepts (sexual and romantic attraction, not wanting kids, being touch repulsed) were conflated.
- Review: This is definitely more literary than I am used to, and there were definitely a lot of nuances that I wasn’t able to pick apart, so of which I just didn’t have the cultural context for. I liked the Maori representation, but I think the child abuse in the book could have been handled better.
POC: The Circus Infinite by Khan Wong
- Summary: A guy with gravity powers escapes being an experimental subject an abusive research institute and literally runs away to join a circus.
- Representation: Panromantic ace main character. This book has some interesting representation of an ace character dealing with being sex repulsed while being an empath and of the difficulties that come with being in an allo-ace romantic relationship.
- Review: This book was ok. The villains felt pretty cartoonish, but if you like the circus you might like it a lot more than me.
Queernorm setting: The Thread that Binds by Cedar McCloud
- Summary: Three employees at a magic library become part of a found family and learn to cut toxic people out of their lives.
- Representation: aro ace and alloromantic ace main characters, greyromantic and demisexual demiromantic side characters. I liked that two of the main characters were casually in a QPR. It was fun to see an author write a queernormative setting that actually is ace/aro normative as well (most of the time queernorm means being normative to gay, lesbian, and bisexual people, sometimes trans people if you are lucky). It was also interesting to see how the main culture in this book not having any concept of gender didn’t change how people viewed a-spec identities but did change how they viewed other sexualities.
- Review: I really liked the worldbuilding and how cozy it was, although the stakes were a bit unclear. It was the first cozy fantasy book that I’ve read that really makes a point about the importance of cutting toxic people out of your life as well as gaining a found family.
Novella: Werecockroach by Polenth Blake
- Summary: Three odd roommates, two of whom are werecockroaches, deal with an alien invasion.
- Representation: aro ace main character, a pretty much aro ace side character (who doesn’t use these labels though) The representation is brought up pretty casually here and isn’t a major focus. I still think it worked well.
- Review: It was so odd but it the best way. It was pretty low stakes with a bit of an anticlimactic ending, but I really liked following this group of characters. There was also representation of nonbinary, hard of hearing (tinnitus), and working class characters.
Mundane Jobs: Of Books and Paper Dragons by Vaela Denarr and Micah Iannandrea
- Summary: Three introverts slowly become friends while being
- Representation: alloromantic asexual main character (arguably a demi main character as well, it’s a bit ambiguous) This representation was somewhat similar to The Threads that Bind as a depiction of a mostly genderless queernorm society that is inclusive to a-spec people in general. The main difference is that this one did it by blurring the line between romantic and platonic relationships and it was also way less explicit about any particular identities.
- Review: I liked it. It very cozy and the lowest stakes book I’ve ever read, but it was fun to read about a bunch of introverts slowly becoming friends.
YA: The Fae Keeper by H.E. Edgmon
- Summary: Wyatt struggles with dealing with discrimination, figuring out interpersonal relationships, and facing off with bigots in order to create a better fae society.
- Representation: homoromantic demisexual side character, biromantic asexual side character Unlike the first book in this series where representation was mentioned off hand, this one went the more informative route. There were some missed oppertunities of some things having to do with the a-spec characters (an ace character struggling to set boundaries in relationships but not relating that to their sexuality), but I did like the focus on different types of relationships.
- Review: This is an aggressively Gen Z book, which worked for me, but I can see this bothering others. I liked the focus on systematic discrimination and systematic change, even if sometimes the answers felt a little simplistic. There was still a bit too much romance for me, but at least it was balanced out somewhat by some of the other relationship types.
SWANA/Middle East (HM): The Bruising of Qilwa by Naseem Jamnia
- Summary: The main character has to balance their responsibilities as a healing trainee, a refugee, an older sibling, and a teacher.
- Representation: aro ace main character. The main character is shown to be asexual and aromantic, but each is only really mentioned in a single line.
- Review: I liked the setting and the ideas behind this novella, I just feel like there was too many ideas in too few pages. There’s a lot that I think could have been fleshed out more. Also, the time jumps did not help the pacing.
Bookclub/Readalong: In the Lives of Puppets by TJ Klune
- Summary: A human in a world full of robots rescues an android.
- Representation: gay ace main character. I think this one does a pretty good job explaining the basics of asexuality, which would probably be helpful for an allo audience. I thought this premise would be a good opportunity to talk about why asexual people are often seen as “robotic”/why robots are coded as asexual, but this book just didn’t engage much with any of that. I didn’t get much out of it, personally.
- Review: This wasn’t my favorite. I wasn’t a huge fan of how TJ Klune handled the themes of this story, and there were also a few inconsistencies with the worldbuilding I found pretty weird. It was also a bit too sweet, but in a slightly preachy way? It’s hard to describe.
Elemental Magic: A Dance of Water and Air by Antonia Aquiline
- Summary: A prince is engaged to marry the queen of a neighboring country for political reasons, but he starts falling in love with her brother instead.
- Representation: demisexual (and possibly demiromantic?) main character. It was mentioned a couple of times and was definitely pretty clear about it. It didn’t do anything creative with it though. I think I would have appreciated it if we saw more of these characters becoming friends instead of speeding through the time they got to know each other.
- Review: I didn’t like it, but I also don’t like romance, so no surprise there. I’m in no way qualified to judge what makes for a good fantasy romance book.
Bottom of the TBR (HM): Sufficiently Advanced Magic by Andrew Rowe
- Summary: A boy goes to school to learn magic and gets caught up in a mysterious plot.
- Representation alloromantic ace main character. It was mentioned, but it wasn’t too big of a focus in this book. I don’t think that there was anything really new for me in the representation in this book. It’s cool to see a progression fantasy book though—not many ace characters fit into that subgenre.
- Review: This wasn’t my favorite. I found it to info dump too much and the pacing to be too slow for me personally.
Robots (HM): This Golden Flame by Emily Victoria:
- Summary: A girl in a Greek inspired setting teams up with an automation to find her brother and freedom.
- Representation: aro ace main character (the girl, the automation is the other mc). It was mentioned a couple of times, but wasn’t a major focus. I liked the emphasis on friendship.
- Review: This was a bit too YA for me. There were some plot bits that felt a bit too convenient. I liked the way magic was used to make automations though.
Druids: Of the Wild by E. Wambheim
- Summary: A forest spirit rescues and cares for abused children.
- Representation: gay ace main character. It wasn’t a huge factor in this book, just mentioned a couple of times. This has a non-human ace lead, but it was never implied that being non-human was the cause of him being asexual, so I counted it. Also, it was really fun to see an ace character in a parental role.
- Review: I really liked this one—it ended up being wholesome and comforting. I loved the emphasis on parental love, and I thought that the themes were well handled.
Published in the 00s: The King's Peace by Jo Walton
- Summary: A thinly disguised King Arthur retelling from the perspective of basically a female asexual version of Lancelot.
- Representation: aromantic? asexual main character. It came up a couple of times, mostly in regards to the MC not wanting to get married and also her being raped, which happens right at the start of the book. It generally tried to make it clear that being raped did not make her asexual, but I think that the book could have gone a little bit more into that intersection.
- Review: This one didn’t quite work for me. There were too many people and places that I had difficulty caring about or keeping track of, and the plot would get interrupted by stretches of not much happening.
Title with a Title:
Redemptor by Jordan Ifueko
- Summary: Tarisai has to deal with her empire’s nobles, evil beings from the underworld, and her own mental health.
- Representation: biromantic ace side character. This is the sequel to Raybearer, which I read last year, and it generally was an improvement in terms of representation. Dayo was significantly less infantilized. It generally had some good (if relatively basic) discussions in regard to asexuality, but there was one thing I thought was not handled super well. It was still cool to see an African inspired ace male character.
- Review: It was ok. I liked how the themes in this one were handled most of the time. There was a love triangle that annoyed me, and the plot was pretty fragmented.
Multiverse: An Accident of Stars by Foz Meadows
- Summary: A girl accidentally crosses into a fantasy world, meets new people, and gets involved in a rebellion.
- Representation: bisexual aromantic side character. It was only mentioned a couple of times, so it wasn’t a big focus. It was cool to see a Black middle-aged polyamorous aro allo character though.
- Review: It was pretty decent. It was a bit slowly paced and the ending was anticlimactic for me, but I liked the setting and the way several characters were written.
Mythical Beasts : Our Bloody Pearl by D.N. Bryn
- Summary: A pirate rescues a siren from an abusive situation and helps them heal.
- Representation: alloromantic asexual side character. It wasn’t a huge focus but just kind of mentioned at the end. It also touches on that character being sexually abused on a child, and personally, I would have liked it more if the intersectionality of being aseuxal and a survivor of sexual abuse was dealt with in more depth instead of being brushed over a bit.
- Review: This was too romance heavy for me personally. There’s a mix of both action heavy and more thoughtful healing moments, which clashed sometimes but worked surprisingly well at others.
Angels and Demons: Dust by Elizabeth Bear
- Summary: A girl who got captured by an enemy faction must escape and find a way to save the multi-generational starship they are all on.
- Representation: Homoromantic? ace MC. This one just barely qualified as representation. There was a lot of conflation between the main character not having sexual desires and choosing to be celibate (as a married to the job type knight), which isn’t how asexuality works, generally. Also, the nanobots inside the main character can change her sexuality, which also confuses things a bit. That being said, trying to change the main character’s asexuality was explicitly described as a very bad thing, which was nice to see especially in this old of a book.
- Review: The world building in this book was so cool—it mixed a scifi multigenerational spaceship with AIs and nanobots with fantasy ideas such as knights, princesses, and swords as well as religious elements like angels and biblical stories. It really helped make the world feel unique. On the other hand, there was some unnecessary incest (thankfully not sexually graphic) that was grossing me out.
Horror (HM): The Magnus Archives written by Jonathan Sims (especially Season 3)
- Summary: This is a horror podcast/audio drama about an archivist who records statements of creepy supernatural encounters on tapes. There’s connections between the statements that feed into an overarching plot.
- Representation: Biromantic ace MC. There’s like a two sentences that implies that the MC is ace in season 3 (episode 106), so it’s not really that relevant, which is why it’s so low. On the other hand, Jon is one of the few ace characters that actually has a presence in a fandom that seems to mostly know he’s ace, so that’s cool.
- Review: Honestly, this was really fun. I didn’t think I liked horror, but this podcast really worked for me. There was a good mix of creepy statements (equivalent to short stories) and overarching plot and character development. The voice acting was also good. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this for ace representation alone, but if you’re listening to it anyway, it’s not a bad choice.
Conclusions
Similar to last year, I’d like to reiterate that plenty of a-spec representation exists in SFF books (I mean, I could manage to pull off two entire bingo cards!), despite what the common perception is both inside and outside the a-spec community. I think people don’t see much in mainstream books, say we have none, and then don’t look for less mainstream examples (especial indie and self published ones). I hope that we can break this cycle, especially since a lot of the best/most creative representation I read was in indie/self published books.
Also, it was generally harder to find aromantic representation than asexual representation. There were just way more online lists for ace representation than aro ones. Even books that contain aro ace characters were commonly only acknowledged as having asexual representation, not aromantic representation. Allo aro characters were particularly hard—but not impossible—to find.
If anyone had any questions about asexuality or aromanticism, I will do my best to answer them! I would also be happy to see if anyone had more recommendations for a-spec characters, thoughts about the tropes used in representation, or comments about representation in general. I can also give more targeted recommendations for anyone looking for a specific type of a-spec representation. If anyone read one of these books and feels differently (or the same) about it, I’d love to discuss it. I have more thoughts than I can fit in this post.
Thanks for reading, I know this was a long post!

2024.03.13 00:16 TaitenAndProud How the Ikeda cult squeezes the members for money via publications
Everything Ikeda has achieved is a bit like incest.
Something that annoys me enormously is when I run across something like this in one of the external sources:
Sokagakkai members pay no dues. Income comes from publications. 1964
Really. And just WHO is buying those publications? Only the Sokagakkai members - and many are being pressured to buy multiple copies, even
dozens of copies!
This elderly woman was carrying 70 copies just herself, and she starved to death because she had no money left over for food! It has been that way the entirety of the SGI-USA's existence. Many would justify carrying more than 1 subscription "to have copies to give away for shakubuku" or to bring to meetings to be able to share with guests. Source
I strongly urge any SGI member wanting to understand Nichiren Buddhism and to change their life to subscribe to publications. They are a lifeline to the organization, and is the way to be connected to the latest from President Ikeda. It is a great cause for your life as well! I have seen people change serious karma by making a commitment to getting publications. Plus they are SO encouraging for whatever you are going through! I have found that when I pick up and randomly flip to something, it is almost always exactly what my life needed to hear. Even if you don’t read them much, you still will get great benefit.
That sounds odd, doesn't it?
I mean, is it the PAYING for subscriptions aspect that triggers the "great benefit"? Clearly, you don't need to read them much, so why couldn't you just borrow a friend's copy from time to time? Source
And we who have been there have experienced how the cult.org pushes leaders to pay for multiple suscriptions in order to fullfill stated campaign goals. Source
During the NSA days I remember being at a world tribune turn in until 2am… why because my district had a target of 48 and we only had 20 members. I was a relatively new leader in training and I kept asking who set this target and how do you get blood from a stone. We sat and kept reviewing and recalculating…finally it was suggested that we split the cost this one time. Because we made the target the following month the target was raised. This went on from 1987 until 1990 when ikeda came to US and name change. So a few years ago everyone was encouraged to “gift” publications to their friends and family members with the hope they would become members. That fell apart in so many ways. The recipients never renewed and many reports were received about the unwanted publications via post office lol. Source
I don’t wish to engage in an NSA/SGI bashing episode, but upon further reflection of the reasons why I stopped practicing, I realized that it wasn’t just mere disillusionment. It was also frustration and the sobering realization that I was simply going through the motions of chanting, doing Gongyo, attending meetings, etc. My sense of excitement, enthusiasm, passion and maybe even my faith, had been lost somewhere along the way, and I just couldn’t recapture it.
I also couldn’t justify the pressures of constantly donating and doing Shakabuku, paying for other people’s World Tribune subscriptions, purchasing the latest books that would never get read, and spending my precious yearly vacation days doing activities such as preparing for some senior leader’s visit from Japan or visiting FNC – in short, I wanted my life back. Source
Members carrying multiple subscriptions - also
here Back in the day when many Japanese fujin-bu (WD) where paying for 10, 20, or more WT subscriptions per month, there was no pretending about it - all the leaders knew we were paying up for the extra 'scripts just to "win" at accomplishing the arbitrarily and artificially set WT number goals. My chapter house was overrun with stacks of WT that could NOT be given away fast enough. I would have to throw them away by the box full once they turned too yellow from age. And many of the WD that engaged in over-buying were too poor to reasonably afford the extra copies - but they were convinced by the cult.org that buying so many extra subscriptions was a magic "cause" that would bring their poor destitute lives "good fortune and benefit from afar" just as the bible NOsho states. Source
Sokagakkai never cared. It's a purely exploitative system, and there's nothing particularly "Buddhist" about exploiting the membership as a captive audience like that - their contributions pay for all those vanity presses (there are, or at least were, at least a dozen) and then they're expected to buy the publications their own contributions have produced, at inflated prices! It's completely predatory!
When one of the mods here, before leaving SGI, asked why they don't call the subscriptions "dues", since that was their function (see below), her SGI leaders were NOT happy with her!
Years ago, at a Leaders Meeting, I said, "Why don't we just call publications what they really are -- dues?"
No, they did NOT like that! Source
It's very much like incest, in other words.

2024.03.10 17:57 Repulsa_2080 How do you feel about both platonic and romantic tags being used at the same time?
Last night, I was scrolling through a platonic tag and noticed there had been a significant increase in the romantic tag being used at the same time. Normally, I wouldn't notice this type of thing, but this exclusively stood out to me because these two characters are related and I'm not into incest at all. I know I could just filter it out and I did, but it feels like a Choose Not to Use Archive Warnings + No Archive Warnings Apply situation to me, like they shouldn't be used together. Thoughts?

2024.03.04 17:19 HopeTroll 1987 Diane Lane film, Lady Beware, and Parallels to Case: Psycho Predator Fixates on Happy Female
***This really isn't a rant, but I wanted to make it very clear that this is just an opinion,
but it will likely overlap into theory territory.***
***This turned out kinda disturbing, so trigger warning re: psychos hurting women.***
Recently, I watched the
very 80s (some would say bad) film, Lady Beware, starring Diane Lane.
warning: there is nudity, etc. and the villain is a psycho.
Lady Beware (1987) : Free Download, Borrow, and Streaming : Internet Archive
In the film, Diane Lane is a young lady, living her best life in Pittsburgh.
A man sees her, fixates on her, and from the first instant is predatory, insulting, and scary.
His contact with her is always a violation, that escalates.
There is never a moment where her personhood is acknowledged or respected.
Eventually, she has to take care of it, because the police can't or won't.
It was affecting for me due to my interest in this case, imo, there were parallels.
Specifically, that the victim is so happy, thriving, loved, comfortable, and not afraid of the world.
She has rich, full relationships with her friends and family.
This man sees her and immediately casts her in a role that has little to do with her or her reality.
After JonBenet was murdered, the media did this to JonBenet and her family again.
I'm finding it difficult to write this, so I'll make it brief.
In the movie, the psycho steals her mail - a birthday letter from her father.
The psycho calls her and tells her that her father always had sexual eyes for her,
as did all the adult men in her life,
then tells her that her mother always hated her due to jealousy (really sick stuff).
imo, this paralleled the psycho who hurt JonBenet
marking the dictionary page to incest, tearing up her letter from Santa,
and being surprised that she would scream during the assault
(because that had never happened to her before).
